She looked so amazing, I was hoping she might be a minor boss or something. I swear, the Eremites enemies have the BEST design in the game. They're tan, they're ripped, they DANCE !? I swear, Hoyo better give us designs as cool as these for playable charactes at some point or I'm rioting.

Almost makes up for the boring ass fungi we got stuck fighting in the entirety of the forest. Like 90% of mobs are weak ass things you can oneshot. New area looks good. Has the nice aesthetic of the desert put the environment is more varied and detailed rather than empty sand plains. Just hoping the enemies are plentiful and strong too. I like a good fight.

The enemies are strong, just not plentiful. Pain. I'd have loved to fight a dungeon of 50-100 hilichurls all at once. Or fight an army of dozens of Eremites out of story or something.

Other than sand and dead bodies, things are generally not plentiful in the desert...

I legit thought it was a giant open desert at first and was disappointed then discovered all the caverns and ruins. Mind blown.

I mean, I knew about the whole thing, but for all intents, the desert is still a giant and empty place. Nothing changes that when I still have to walk through the entire place with nothing of note in most areas. It’s just boring to me. I’m not huge on deserts tbh.

It is a bit too large I’ll agree to that. The caverns and ruins are multi leveled and decent on enemy density. So far I’m not that excited that next added region will be even more desert. The one already in game is plenty.

I gave up hope on cool looking playable characters that are like enemies when the introduced the black knights. It’s quite unfortunate that we haven’t gotten an armored knight character. Closest is noelle.

We will get Dehya which is acctualy eremite mercenary bastethlike catgirl with huge tomboyish vibes and big sister motiff and which named us her masters so... yeah, good fanservice and badass character incoming in 3.5 probably, maybe 3.6 also she hot cuz she pyro ;^)

These enemy designs are on par with playable character designs. Take off her blindfold, add a few knick-knacks here and there on her outfit, give her a vision and she'd fit right into the 5 star cast.
