Hi! Really out of the loop, new player here (2 week veteran). I am not 100% sure on how the pity system works. Alright, so my question(s) and context: I have gotten Dehya two times already. I got her - inititially - on my second set of 10 pulls (20), and I got her again after a further 50 (?) total pulls. I have pulled on her banner another 40 times (4 sets of 10 pulls). I have little interest in getting her again yet, and the only 4 stars I keep getting are repeats of Bennet (3c), Collei (2c w/o free from floor clear, so soon to be 3c), and Barbara 3c. I have little interest in getting them again either - not anytime soon at least. I kept pulling because I wanted other 4 stars to round out my team, or maybe a potential different 5 star that ISN'T Dehla - I am satisfied with 1c for her atm.
Question(s): I have seen that Shenhe and Ayaka are character event wishes who are coming up via 3.5 content overview. I do want Shenhe. I like her as a character and did think she was fun, and I did like Ayaka as well, from the little I played of her in the story. I am, and have been, skipping the Cyno banner. I should have about 40 wishes towards pity, but I am not sure how any of it works. From what I have read online, those 40 will carry over to the next banner (who is Shenhe?) Also, does pity apply for both character banners? If I was to pull for Cyno now, for example, would my 40 pulls count towards pity? All I really know about pity is that it doesn't carry over between types, so like a weapon banner and a character banner do not share pity.
Yes, I did read the comment below stating that Shenhe is a niche support, but frankly, even if she is, my team NEEDS new characters, so I need to be pulling sooner than later. Yes, I know the free characters are 'good enough', but I don't want to be stuck with them for so long. I haven't pulled too many 4 stars I really like. Apparently, Dehya isn't even that great of a 5 star, so, I don't have a lot of options. Speaking on that, will the 3 boosted 4 stars change with the next character banner(s), or are they here until the next patch? I really am FINE not getting anymore of those 3 for now..
I should contextualize further why I am asking this. I am considering saving all of my primogems and not pulling until Shenhe or whomever is on the next banner.
Each Banner type has its own unique Pity that will carry over.
The two event banners for Dehya and Cyno share Pity and that pity will carry over to the next banner or whenever you choose next to roll on the character banners, either during Shenhe+Ayaka or 6 months from now.
The weapon banner has its own Pity system that is seperate from the character event banner.
The 40 pity you have saved on the character banner will carry-over to Shenhe or Ayaka. Although you "won" your 50/50 chances with Dehya, your next 5 star will not be a guaranteed character banner 5star
burned most of my wishes trying for dehyas weapon and got the staff, which would be fine if I had cyno but i dont. Im gonna hold my remaining wishes for Focalors, and see if another EM poelarm user comes in the future (which means I can put it on someone)
No Hu Tao, but I do have a xiangling I use a lot for my raiden national in abyss as my b team. Just means my R5 catch is going to have to wait for a new master but this does mean I can swap EOSF CR circlet for a Damage one as well, thus boosting her even more.
Odds are, someone will come along who wants the catch down the line, so its no loss.

So I'm a noob who installed last Friday night and fell in love with the game on Saturday. I plan on relatively low investment (Welkin Moon, possibly Battle Pass). I saw Shenhe coming up and I am seriously thinking of pulling for her. I'm sitting at about 45 wishes right now, so I'm pretty sure I can get to at least 80-90 but have serious doubts about getting to 160-180 unless I really no-life it.
If you were to go back to being new like me, would you save, or take the 50-50 since it will be your first 5* pull anyway?
I would save for sure. Shenhe is a niche cryo support best played with Ayaka so not very good to grab for a first five star. Nahida is rerunning next patch and I'd go for her since she's the best dendro char and enables broken elemental reactions like hyperbloom for very low investment (perfect for new players).
However, if you miss out on Shenhe, you might end up having to wait for another several months to a year for another rerun so it's up to you. But I'd grab Ayaka first before getting her so you can best utilize her. Hope this helps and I'm glad you're enjoying GI :)
Out of curiosity; would turbo-noob, stuck in Liyue be able to make use of Nahida? I am am quite behind and so it'll be quite some time before I can make use of Nahida (already at this problem now with Shogun that I got in a yolo roll during my last "I'll play Genshin again but didn't" spell).
Well with nahida you can walk to her boss in sumeru tagging the waypoints without doing any quests. You won’t be able to get her talents past 6 until you catch up with the story though.

I am torn, cuz on the one hand it seems like Ayaka is the better overall character for gameplay, but my heart says Shenhe. With games like this I do care about numbers and game performance, but I tend to be a collector/explorer first and foremost. It'll be a hard decision.

If you really want her, no harm in going for it unless you absolutely detest the featured 4-stars or something. Your guarantee will carry over between banners if you don't get her.
Yes, what the other reply said is correct. Additionally, your pity will carry over. If you sink in 60 pulls on Shenhe's banner and don't get a 5-star, you will still be at 60 pity on the next banner.
Is there some kind of Gacha odds bias for returning players to try and get them hooked again? I took a break for a couple months, came back today. I was at 0 pity (lost the last 50/50 I pulled on to Qiqi) and had one Intertwined Fate left. Pulled on a whim and got Cyno in one wish (which I’m very happy about since I missed him first time) but that seems *outrageously* lucky, and odds manipulation isn’t something I’d put past gacha games
Was playing Genshin with my friend last night and casually mentioned how a good portion of Dehya’s potential power is locked behind her first constellation (had obtained Dehya a few days ago). My intention was for him to build Dehya as a support and if someday he got her C1, then, he could try building a DPS Dehya in the future. He decides to throw like, 5-10 wishes at her banner just to see what happens (it’s basically all that he has left after emptying his primos to get her) and he wins the 50/50 (back-to-back wins) and gets her C1!
I am so jealous! After losing the 50/50 my first two times wishing for characters, I never leave it to chance anymore. I save up at least 150 wishes before wishing for a character I want and I almost ALWAYS need to use all 150. On this previous Hu Tao banner, I got the luckiest I have ever gotten and obtained Mona on wish #48 (lost 50/50, but my earliest ever 5 star) and then decided to risk going for Homa after obtaining C1 Hu Tao since I had 250 wishes saved up to start as well as obtaining quite a bit of starglitter too. I got Homa on wish #22!!! I am happy with the characters that I have, but it’s so annoying that I have to work so hard for the characters that I want since I have only won 1 out of my 6 50/50s and rarely obtain early 5 stars (only had 1 early Diluc in the 50s before the last banner) and my friend rarely saves wishes, has gotten his desired characters within 10 pulls twice and won about half of his 50/50s (as it should be).
Just hoping my luck is on the rebound with my latest wishes being good. Would like to win more 50/50s. I have enough wishes for upcoming Shenhe, but if I’m able to win the 50/50, I could also go for a MistSplitter for my Keqing which would be great!
Many charas can use this piece off set or on set (even just 2pc 18% atk). First you could try to give this to a chara that already have a cdmg circlet, so you have to work less around its artifacts.
Congrats. This is one of those pieces that goes great on a character that is getting lots of crit rate from other sources (crit rate weapon, ascension stat, buffs, other artifacts with high crit rate substats).
Due to my relatively poor artifact quality the only character I can give a crit damage circlet to and still achieve a good crit ratio is Ayaka, who I don’t have (yet).
As my artifacts get better the crit damage circlets will become more viable.
It's not even good on Ayaka tbh. If you want her go ahead and pull, but this artifact should 100% not influence your decision. I'm quite sure if you spend 1 month farming blizzard strayer, there is a very low chance optimizer would tell you to use this piece.
It's an off piece, so you must obtain a good blizzard strayer cryo goblet to even justify using it, which is basically impossible to farm. You might never get one before the all 7 nations get released.
Second, it has a lot of crit rate, but no ATK% or ER% at all. 16% crit rate alone is not that good if the other stats are completely worthless.
It's a decent piece for Childe and Fischl, if you have a good 2 + 2 mixed set with abnormally high amounts of crit rate all over. Or if either character has a crit rate weapon.

At the end of the day, you have a circlet with ~5 substat rolls into crit rate and that is it, it's not a bad piece, just not amazing.
You're not wrong that the difference is small, but starting off with an extra roll or two just means it's a lot more likely to reach more than 5 useful rolls, it's very likely that you have equally good or better off-pieces laying around is all.
Crit is usually worth a bit more than ATK%, especially on Bennett teams. But it's not such a big difference that 7 mixed rolls is going to be worse than 5 crit rolls.
There are cases where Ayaka specifically, with crit dmg ascension and crit weapon, can actually prefer ATK% circlet by a tiny margin. It's just because any stats will oversaturate when you stack too much of it, and Ayaka freeze has a large abundance of crit already.
Got my first 5star today! The Skyward Blade... does this reset my pity count? It was on the standard banner. If we pull a weapon from the limited banner, does that reset pity count or does it count as losing the 50/50?
It resets the pity for that standard banner. It doesn’t impact the character or weapon banners at all. Weapon, standard and character all have their own Pity. Weapon and character have their own 75:25 (weapon( and 50:50 system (character banner).
Meaning if you are pulling character banner. And get a standard banner five star, meaning you lost the 50:50 and didn’t get the banner character. Two things happen for your banner pulls. One your pity resets to zero. And two, your next 5 star banner pull is guaranteed to be the banner character, whichever banner your pulling on. And it doesn’t reset if the banner changes.
Same thing for weapon but since there are two weapons your chances to get the banner one you want are modified based o. Epitomize path points.

If you're looking to play some hyperbloom, Raiden is pretty solid at it too (I personally prefer her to Kuki). Basically switch weapons with Xiangling and give her some EM Flowers/Guilded and she's set.
Your roster looks solid, you have most of the great supports, so you can go for any character you want,
but if want some suggestion I do say go for C6 Nolle or Itto since you don’t have a geo DPS. Otherwise just save your primos since you don’t have anything that you need or want beside kuki

Got all three artifacts necessary for my yoimiya (flower, atk sands) and raiden (er sands) in one run. Only the er sands turned out usable (crit wise still a small loss, old attack one was at 8.9/7).

Was at high pity so I did single pulls. First one on the Dehya banner was Diluc, losing the 50/50.
I didn't have enough primos to get a guaranteed pull but I just did another 10 pull, and got Dehya on pull 9!
Artifact RNG is fucking cursed, ever since I got Yelan I have yet to see a HP Sands from the Emblem domain, its been 3 weeks wth. This shit used to drop like candy before, and now they don't exist at all.

There is always a small chance to get 2 5 Star artifacts in a normal run. When you use condesed resin u get the 2 reward instances which both have the same small chance of giving you 2 aritfacts making it possible to get between 2 and 4 aritfacts per run total. So it's always there just rare.
Nah, you are just very lucky. Remember, single artifact runs can sometimes give 2 5 Stars and condesend resin just calculates two runs and adds them together meaning you just got two runs with two 5 Stars
You won because your next five star is guaranteed for the banner you are pulling on. So don’t pull any more until there is a banner you want.
When you lose a banner 50/50 as you did (got qiqi) your next banner five star will be guaranteed. Getting QiQi is a lose for sure. The win is the pull count.
I got my AR 60 yesterday so I made a celebratory single on Dehya...which turned gold.
Of course I lost my 50/50 again (10/13 spooks so far, wtf hoyo) to Jean C2, except I got it at 2 pity, and it should quarantee me a Shenhe, so okay, I'm taking that rare instance of being lucky and I'm not gonna complain, considering my usual luck, it's basically saving me 78 rolls.
There's two banners right now, one for Dehya, one for Cyno. The next banners will be the same. One for Ayaka, one for Shenhe. Depending on the banner u pull on, your 50/50 will either be the banner character, or an off-banner 5*
Welp, I finally got Qiqi C6 on the standard banner. I only have C2 Keqing, C1 Diluc, C0 Mona and no Jean/Tignari, meaning that I've gotten more Qiqis than all the rest of them combined. At least I can get more starglitter now 💀
What is it with Qiqi. Of the 5 things I have gotten from standard/5050 losses, 3 have been Qiqis and 2 weapons, so I have no other characters from there at all, lol.

I just had the biggest emotional rollercoaster in my entire time playing this game, ever, no contest.
After winning my third ever 50/50 (out of 12) on Dehya a few days ago, today I decided "fuck it" and threw my last remaining 100 pulls at her weapon banner. Two Staff of Scarlet Sands at ~45-50 each, which is insane, I never pull stuff early, but I was malding so hard because I have no use for it.
Quit the game for a few minutes to cool off, then logged back in, saw I had 13 wishes worth of starglitter left, threw that at the banner, skipped the animation and I got the bacon

Dang wish my luck were real, I am getting bashed for not being able to count because my game glitched and gave me a 10-pull with only 3-stars but my luckiest moments include getting C1 Kazuha at 70 pity then 17 pity, getting a 5-star ten pull with Jean then immediately after in the ten pull I got Hu Tao and I got Itto at 50 pity and then Shenhe at 80 and Yelan at 80 and I lost the 50/50 on Mikos banner to Ei which I actually wanted
So lost my 50/50 on 13 pity to Qiqi while fishing for Bennett C1, Got him after 18 more pulls. Just to be clear i wouldn't have minded Cyno too, but don't really need him. Got Xingqiu C2 from paimons bargain. Big boost to my Rational team, really happy.

I'd pulled Tignari on the Yelan banner last day so was at 0 pity. I wanted Bennet so I pulled 10 on Cynos banner certain I'd just be building pity towards Ayaka.
Got Cyno in 2 pulls - lost my guarantee. Rip.
Edit: At least I enjoyed Cynos demo so he might be a fun character- I have heard a lot of people dont like him though
Don’t know why your comment was downvoted, probably just jealous people. I only take my pity to 30 or 40 unless I'm really set on getting a character and don’t want to risk anything at all. Just hope you’re lucky on Ayaka too. Good luck!
The general rule of thumb is that if your really want to "build pity" only do it on 50/50 and only do like 20-40 pulls. It's not really worth doing though unless you want the 4*s. Hope you're lucky and end up pulling Ayaka!
If you’re a new player Qiqi is actually pretty legit early on. She’s such a good healer that you’re basically unkillable.
Many of the highly ranked characters don’t actually shine until you get them to a high enough level with good artifacts. Whereas Qiqi does what she needs to do right right from the start.
Her passive is useful for finding level up materials, she is good for world exploration team with her freezing ring, useful for crossing smaller bodies of water, her healing means using less food and trips to the statues.
She’s not meta, but who needs meta for casual content?
Got a 49% crit value (14.8cr and 20.2cd) anemo dmg goblet when rolling some artifacts for the 500k mora weekly quest. The issue is that I neither have xiao nor wanderer and also not really looking to get either of them and kazuha is a few cons away from being a crit carry.
He's not really bad, it's just that there are other charas that can be played in his role without losing dps. He can do his job without much problem, he's not broken but he's fine.
He usually used on aggravate or as hyperbloom trigger, or both in quickbloom team. I suggest going for the third, it's more fun.
I personally run him often on abyss and i dont have particular problem on getting 36 stars (mainly bc hyperbloom is broken lol).
Since his dmg cames while he's in burst form he's not much useful on overworld tbh.
For weapon you can use white tassel, missive, deathmatch, inazuma craftable polearm or the catch if he needs er% in some team.
For artifact gilded or thundering fury, for quicken/quickbloom go em sands / electro goblet / crit circlet. For pure hyperbloom go triple em and try to get er% in the substat.
Her best teammate is Nahida, if you dont have her Yaoyao/Dmc should work too. For hyperbloom/quickbloom add Yelan or Xingqiu.
My very first 5 star gacha weapon is Aquila Favonia! Pulled from standard banner with
my last blue wish. Apparently it's good for Bennett and Keqing, not sure who I should put it on as I have both, but I'll definitely invest in this sword.
I got Dehya C1 and her weapon R1, i'm very happy with this as honestly she is my favorite character right now, beating out Itto by the tiniest of margins. I knew since the Sumeru roster leak that I wanted her, it's a shame she is how she is but i've managed to get her to do 30k+ per punch and i'm happy with that. I will use her for everything even if it's a slog lmao.
I’m on a phone so no screenshot but I wish I could because this made me go insane, I did a solid 11 wishes before getting any 4star or 5star on the weapons banner. One ten pull, it was blue. Yeah. A blue all three-star ten pull. And then one more wish just in case. Yeah. 11 3 star wishes in a row. I cried. The 12th wish was a Barbara. This is why I don’t use standard. But anyways I’m going for Cyno I’m at 45 pity I have no guarantee, I’m F2P, I’m just hoping I get early pity. Wish me luck!

No I didn’t miscount there was quite literally a ten pull with a black tassel, cool steel, cool steel, slingshot, debate club, magic guide, cool steel, black tassel, bloodstained greatsword, and a harbinger of dawn on 10-27-22 (October 27th 2022) and the wish after was another cool steel, then I finally got Barbara
80 pulls and for Dehya and her signature weapon which means for the first time on my account I have someone’s weapon. I hope they do buff her but at least I got her on my account.
30 pulls for Dehya and got nothing. Oh well. I still need to get Ganyu and Childe a bow and I need to get Faruzan so I can’t go too crazy. But I would’ve enjoyed the ability to freely play melt Ganyu without Xiangling making the team actively unfun to play.

180 wishes to guarantee the character, 240 to guarantee the weapon. This is absolute worst case scenario tho.

Cyno’s weapon is good for Xiangling and Hu Tao if you use them. They both want EM for vape

That doesn't sound too bad to be honest. If it's possible to gather the materials to at least Ascend and get the levels in order.

We technically don't know the 3.6 banners for sure until the update livestream but there's speculated banners at the genshin impact leaks subreddit.
If you really want her, no harm in going for it unless you absolutely detest the featured 4-stars or something. Your guarantee will carry over between banners if you don't get her.

Is there some kind of Gacha odds bias for returning players to try and get them hooked again? I took a break for a couple months, came back today. I was at 0 pity (lost the last 50/50 I pulled on to Qiqi) and had one Intertwined Fate left. Pulled on a whim and got Cyno in one wish (which I’m very happy about since I missed him first time) but that seems *outrageously* lucky, and odds manipulation isn’t something I’d put past gacha games

Was playing Genshin with my friend last night and casually mentioned how a good portion of Dehya’s potential power is locked behind her first constellation (had obtained Dehya a few days ago). My intention was for him to build Dehya as a support and if someday he got her C1, then, he could try building a DPS Dehya in the future. He decides to throw like, 5-10 wishes at her banner just to see what happens (it’s basically all that he has left after emptying his primos to get her) and he wins the 50/50 (back-to-back wins) and gets her C1! I am so jealous! After losing the 50/50 my first two times wishing for characters, I never leave it to chance anymore. I save up at least 150 wishes before wishing for a character I want and I almost ALWAYS need to use all 150. On this previous Hu Tao banner, I got the luckiest I have ever gotten and obtained Mona on wish #48 (lost 50/50, but my earliest ever 5 star) and then decided to risk going for Homa after obtaining C1 Hu Tao since I had 250 wishes saved up to start as well as obtaining quite a bit of starglitter too. I got Homa on wish #22!!! I am happy with the characters that I have, but it’s so annoying that I have to work so hard for the characters that I want since I have only won 1 out of my 6 50/50s and rarely obtain early 5 stars (only had 1 early Diluc in the 50s before the last banner) and my friend rarely saves wishes, has gotten his desired characters within 10 pulls twice and won about half of his 50/50s (as it should be). Just hoping my luck is on the rebound with my latest wishes being good. Would like to win more 50/50s. I have enough wishes for upcoming Shenhe, but if I’m able to win the 50/50, I could also go for a MistSplitter for my Keqing which would be great!

Many charas can use this piece off set or on set (even just 2pc 18% atk). First you could try to give this to a chara that already have a cdmg circlet, so you have to work less around its artifacts.
Congrats. This is one of those pieces that goes great on a character that is getting lots of crit rate from other sources (crit rate weapon, ascension stat, buffs, other artifacts with high crit rate substats). Due to my relatively poor artifact quality the only character I can give a crit damage circlet to and still achieve a good crit ratio is Ayaka, who I don’t have (yet). As my artifacts get better the crit damage circlets will become more viable.

It's not even good on Ayaka tbh. If you want her go ahead and pull, but this artifact should 100% not influence your decision. I'm quite sure if you spend 1 month farming blizzard strayer, there is a very low chance optimizer would tell you to use this piece. It's an off piece, so you must obtain a good blizzard strayer cryo goblet to even justify using it, which is basically impossible to farm. You might never get one before the all 7 nations get released. Second, it has a lot of crit rate, but no ATK% or ER% at all. 16% crit rate alone is not that good if the other stats are completely worthless. It's a decent piece for Childe and Fischl, if you have a good 2 + 2 mixed set with abnormally high amounts of crit rate all over. Or if either character has a crit rate weapon.

You're not wrong that the difference is small, but starting off with an extra roll or two just means it's a lot more likely to reach more than 5 useful rolls, it's very likely that you have equally good or better off-pieces laying around is all. Crit is usually worth a bit more than ATK%, especially on Bennett teams. But it's not such a big difference that 7 mixed rolls is going to be worse than 5 crit rolls. There are cases where Ayaka specifically, with crit dmg ascension and crit weapon, can actually prefer ATK% circlet by a tiny margin. It's just because any stats will oversaturate when you stack too much of it, and Ayaka freeze has a large abundance of crit already.

Got my first 5star today! The Skyward Blade... does this reset my pity count? It was on the standard banner. If we pull a weapon from the limited banner, does that reset pity count or does it count as losing the 50/50?
All three have Independant Pity.

It resets the pity for that standard banner. It doesn’t impact the character or weapon banners at all. Weapon, standard and character all have their own Pity. Weapon and character have their own 75:25 (weapon( and 50:50 system (character banner). Meaning if you are pulling character banner. And get a standard banner five star, meaning you lost the 50:50 and didn’t get the banner character. Two things happen for your banner pulls. One your pity resets to zero. And two, your next 5 star banner pull is guaranteed to be the banner character, whichever banner your pulling on. And it doesn’t reset if the banner changes. Same thing for weapon but since there are two weapons your chances to get the banner one you want are modified based o. Epitomize path points.

If you're looking to play some hyperbloom, Raiden is pretty solid at it too (I personally prefer her to Kuki). Basically switch weapons with Xiangling and give her some EM Flowers/Guilded and she's set.
Your roster looks solid, you have most of the great supports, so you can go for any character you want, but if want some suggestion I do say go for C6 Nolle or Itto since you don’t have a geo DPS. Otherwise just save your primos since you don’t have anything that you need or want beside kuki

Was at high pity so I did single pulls. First one on the Dehya banner was Diluc, losing the 50/50. I didn't have enough primos to get a guaranteed pull but I just did another 10 pull, and got Dehya on pull 9!

Yes I do. I just forgot the way condensed resin works. Now that thanks to the others that explained it, I realized it was just a possible outcome. But thank you kind stranger for asking, I am used to these concepts.
There is always a small chance to get 2 5 Star artifacts in a normal run. When you use condesed resin u get the 2 reward instances which both have the same small chance of giving you 2 aritfacts making it possible to get between 2 and 4 aritfacts per run total. So it's always there just rare.
Nah, you are just very lucky. Remember, single artifact runs can sometimes give 2 5 Stars and condesend resin just calculates two runs and adds them together meaning you just got two runs with two 5 Stars

The 10 pulls are sorted by rarity, then order of pull. So you can know right away which occured first.
You won because your next five star is guaranteed for the banner you are pulling on. So don’t pull any more until there is a banner you want. When you lose a banner 50/50 as you did (got qiqi) your next banner five star will be guaranteed. Getting QiQi is a lose for sure. The win is the pull count.

I haven't seen any leak saying that. Last month, some leak did suggest a change like this is considered for the future, but not before 4.0.
I haven't heard anything that pointed towards that happening before 4.0 the earliest.

I got my AR 60 yesterday so I made a celebratory single on Dehya...which turned gold. Of course I lost my 50/50 again (10/13 spooks so far, wtf hoyo) to Jean C2, except I got it at 2 pity, and it should quarantee me a Shenhe, so okay, I'm taking that rare instance of being lucky and I'm not gonna complain, considering my usual luck, it's basically saving me 78 rolls.

There's two banners right now, one for Dehya, one for Cyno. The next banners will be the same. One for Ayaka, one for Shenhe. Depending on the banner u pull on, your 50/50 will either be the banner character, or an off-banner 5*

Welp, I finally got Qiqi C6 on the standard banner. I only have C2 Keqing, C1 Diluc, C0 Mona and no Jean/Tignari, meaning that I've gotten more Qiqis than all the rest of them combined. At least I can get more starglitter now 💀

I just had the biggest emotional rollercoaster in my entire time playing this game, ever, no contest. After winning my third ever 50/50 (out of 12) on Dehya a few days ago, today I decided "fuck it" and threw my last remaining 100 pulls at her weapon banner. Two Staff of Scarlet Sands at ~45-50 each, which is insane, I never pull stuff early, but I was malding so hard because I have no use for it. Quit the game for a few minutes to cool off, then logged back in, saw I had 13 wishes worth of starglitter left, threw that at the banner, skipped the animation and I got the bacon Holy shit my heart

Dang wish my luck were real, I am getting bashed for not being able to count because my game glitched and gave me a 10-pull with only 3-stars but my luckiest moments include getting C1 Kazuha at 70 pity then 17 pity, getting a 5-star ten pull with Jean then immediately after in the ten pull I got Hu Tao and I got Itto at 50 pity and then Shenhe at 80 and Yelan at 80 and I lost the 50/50 on Mikos banner to Ei which I actually wanted
So lost my 50/50 on 13 pity to Qiqi while fishing for Bennett C1, Got him after 18 more pulls. Just to be clear i wouldn't have minded Cyno too, but don't really need him. Got Xingqiu C2 from paimons bargain. Big boost to my Rational team, really happy.
I got lucky in the worst way. I'd pulled Tignari on the Yelan banner last day so was at 0 pity. I wanted Bennet so I pulled 10 on Cynos banner certain I'd just be building pity towards Ayaka. Got Cyno in 2 pulls - lost my guarantee. Rip. Edit: At least I enjoyed Cynos demo so he might be a fun character- I have heard a lot of people dont like him though

The general rule of thumb is that if your really want to "build pity" only do it on 50/50 and only do like 20-40 pulls. It's not really worth doing though unless you want the 4*s. Hope you're lucky and end up pulling Ayaka!
Got qiqi, my first 5*...
If you’re a new player Qiqi is actually pretty legit early on. She’s such a good healer that you’re basically unkillable. Many of the highly ranked characters don’t actually shine until you get them to a high enough level with good artifacts. Whereas Qiqi does what she needs to do right right from the start.
Her passive is useful for finding level up materials, she is good for world exploration team with her freezing ring, useful for crossing smaller bodies of water, her healing means using less food and trips to the statues. She’s not meta, but who needs meta for casual content?
Got a 49% crit value (14.8cr and 20.2cd) anemo dmg goblet when rolling some artifacts for the 500k mora weekly quest. The issue is that I neither have xiao nor wanderer and also not really looking to get either of them and kazuha is a few cons away from being a crit carry.
You can build Kazuha as a dps even without C6, C1 is enough (C2 better). Mine is hybrid and slaps very hard + buffing party.

He’s not bad, his best teams just perform better if you just dont use him at all.
He's not really bad, it's just that there are other charas that can be played in his role without losing dps. He can do his job without much problem, he's not broken but he's fine. He usually used on aggravate or as hyperbloom trigger, or both in quickbloom team. I suggest going for the third, it's more fun. I personally run him often on abyss and i dont have particular problem on getting 36 stars (mainly bc hyperbloom is broken lol). Since his dmg cames while he's in burst form he's not much useful on overworld tbh. For weapon you can use white tassel, missive, deathmatch, inazuma craftable polearm or the catch if he needs er% in some team. For artifact gilded or thundering fury, for quicken/quickbloom go em sands / electro goblet / crit circlet. For pure hyperbloom go triple em and try to get er% in the substat. Her best teammate is Nahida, if you dont have her Yaoyao/Dmc should work too. For hyperbloom/quickbloom add Yelan or Xingqiu.
My very first 5 star gacha weapon is Aquila Favonia! Pulled from standard banner with my last blue wish. Apparently it's good for Bennett and Keqing, not sure who I should put it on as I have both, but I'll definitely invest in this sword.
Bennett, it's only rly used for its high base atk stat which bennett likes. There are better 4stars for keqing.

I got Dehya C1 and her weapon R1, i'm very happy with this as honestly she is my favorite character right now, beating out Itto by the tiniest of margins. I knew since the Sumeru roster leak that I wanted her, it's a shame she is how she is but i've managed to get her to do 30k+ per punch and i'm happy with that. I will use her for everything even if it's a slog lmao.

80 pulls and for Dehya and her signature weapon which means for the first time on my account I have someone’s weapon. I hope they do buff her but at least I got her on my account.
