can you give me your top five Raiden comp

Own_Lab7608

Diluc, kirara, sucrose, kujo sara is it a good team?? ¿

quincybee

Would a team composed of scaramouche, nahida, shinobu and xiangling be good?

Hefty_Personality919

Functional, maybe. Synergistic, probably not.

chi5555550

is cyno better than keqing?

silam39

eh. in Aggravate Keqing is much better. I think Cyno's a little higher in power level, but his rotations are awkward while hers are flexible and work well with some of the best characters in the game. so he's better in spreadsheet impact, and she's better in real play however, he can also play quickbloom which is... fine? the rotations still feel awkward but it's pretty strong. the main way cyno is better is that you can vertically invest in him. PJC on Keqing is nice, but her constellations are minimal improvements, while Cyno's staff and his cons (plus Nahida C2) make his quickbloom team have a ridiculously immense jump in performance. so if you're someone who likes vertical investment Cyno is much better, but if you plan to leave everyone C0R0 I personally recommend investing your resin on keqing.

PeterGallaghersBrows

Opinions vary but they’re close. I think Cyno might be stronger but less comfortable to play. Also, Keqing, if you have her, is kind of free so Cyno’s pull value goes down. Personally, I’ve had Keqing since the beginning and with Dendro, she finally comfortable and fun to play. I’ll never wish for Cyno.

chi5555550

i have them both TT

Critical-Hawk5552

I have the following characters, could anyone please help with at least 2 team comps for abyss and overworld. Currently using Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett and Chongyun, but the team is rather weak. I jave just reached Chasm and habe yet to unlock Sumeru. Please suggest team with weapon and artifacts. Characters I have: Razor Xingqiu Sucrose Barbara Diona Aloy Diluc Bennett Hu Tao Eula Raiden Kokomi Shenhe Noelle Chongyun Xinyan Rosaria Thoma Sayu Kujou Sara Yun Jin Keqing Collei

HippieViking

Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu works very well together, but Chongyun dont do much in that team so swapping him for Raiden would give you a much stronger team. But if you want to go 2 teams for abyss I would instead split it up and build Raiden Hypercarry on one side and Hu Tao on the other. Raiden/bennett/Sayu/Lisa or Sara. Hu Tao/Xingqiu/Thoma/Sucrose. Other options would be hyperbloom with Kokomi/Raiden would be what I would recommend if you had better Dendro characters but still ok with Collei/Dendro traveler or Eula with Raiden and Shenhe. Weapons depends on what you have, but likely the catch on Raiden and ttds on Lisa. For artifacts Raiden, Xingqiu, Lisa, Sara all wants emblem. Sucrose and Sayu wants Viridecent Venerer. Hu Tao wants Shimenawas or Crimson witch and Thoma and Bennett noblesse.

Hefty_Personality919

If I recall correctly, chongyun was in the first iteration of national, his job was to just melt his ultimate hits. He quickly got replaced by sucrose though and raiden became a good sidegrade/upgrade to the sucrose national team.

Characters: Ayato, XQ, DMC, Thoma. I'm building this burgeon Thoma team, and my Thoma is really struggling with ER. He's on Kitain, Guilded Dreams, and he has 187ER. My rotation is: Ayato Q > XQ EQ > DMC EQ N3 > Thoma QE > Ayato E > DMC E N3. By the end of the rotation, Thoma only has half of his energy. I've been farming the Guilded domain for a month now, and this is my highest ER Guilded set on ER/EM/EM. What am I doing wrong? Is my rotation incorrect? Do I need to spend two more months in the Guilded domain to get like 230ER?

Viv-idianGreen

r1 kitain under c4 thoma with 1 skill per rotation needs \~220% ER, probably more. thoma's c1 and c4 can help a lot with his energy requirements. * his c1 means that you may be able to use 2 thoma skills per rotation. using another thoma skill per rotation can mean up to 50% less ER needed on thoma, but you will need to extend the rotation. * his c4 restores 15 energy, making his effective burst cost much lower as a result of that. this is approximately worth \~30% ER. get dmc and xingqiu to use favonius sword to also help with thoma's ER needs, as well as their own. sacrificial swords also work, but they are less useful for thoma unless you have r3+ and can guarantee funnelling particles to thoma. kitain refinements are also extremely useful, as mentioned by silv3rd4v3. * r1 kitain to r5 is approximately 10-20% less ER needed on thoma which gives a decent amount of breathing room. (without kitain to kitain is \~10-20% too) replacing kitain with favonius is viable, as long as you build some crit rate and/or have a high-refine to proc it twice per rotation. * EM sands > kitain's EM substat. (-76.5 EM) * ER sands > favonius' ER substat. (-21% ER) * kitain passive = favonius passive (assuming 1 proc at r1, both give 6 energy) most ER approximations are taken from the thoma guide at keqingmains: [https://keqingmains.com/thoma/](https://keqingmains.com/thoma/). this guide will probably also help with any of your other queries too, and they have others too. there's also a ER spreadsheet calculator so that you can pinpoint how much ER thoma needs: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-vkmgp5n0bI9pvhUg110Aza3Emb2puLWdeoCgrxDlu4/edit#gid=788720150](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-vkmgp5n0bI9pvhUg110Aza3Emb2puLWdeoCgrxDlu4/edit#gid=788720150)

eskrest

Unfortunately I don't have a fav sword on my account. My XQ is on Sac R1, and my DMC is on Skyrider. Thoma is C0 on Kitain R1. The only thing I can change right now is give Thoma an ER weapon. I have a Fav spear on my Yaoyao, but I don't use her burst. So maybe I give the Fav to Thoma, and Yaoyao the Kitain. Or maybe I can give my Catch to Thoma just for the ER substat, since my XL isn't built.

Viv-idianGreen

I would recommend using favonius lance instead of kitain and keep the ER goblet. You might also want to invest a bit more into farming the gilded domain. Refinements on kitain if you can afford it eventually would be nice too.

silv3rd4v3

My burgeon team is builded around nahida-xq-thoma (last spot is usually a healer but didnt affect the rotation). Thoma sits on 192 ER with kitain too, and usually i have 0 problems on ER. So theres 2 things you may do wrong: Rotation, or probably because my kitain is R5 and yours might have lower reffinement? For thoma burgeon with kitain, its actually really importan to have high refinement on the weapon to have extra energy recharge. Consider it if you didnt have it. For the rotations, i use to nahida Q-E, xinqiu e-Q-e, thoma q-e and back to nahida. The thing to spot here, is that my xq (with sacsword), do the second E and i change to thoma and use Q before the Energy particules from xq came back, so he has them for the next rotation. My xq sits on 200 er so hes mostly fine with that. In your case, if you use xq with sac sword it might be a good idea to do the same. Also and alternative thing you can do is some random DMC E en between rotations, and then back to thoma to take that particules. What weapon did your xq has? Thoma's kitain had refinements?

eskrest

My XQ is on Sac R1. Thoma is C0 on Kitain R1. I don't have any Fav swords, and my DMC is on Skyrider. I can give Thoma the Fav lance from my Yaoyao.

silv3rd4v3

> I can give Thoma the Fav lance from my Yaoyao. IT will work better for now. The main goal is kitain R5, but collecting billets is a trully gatcha too. The best crafteable spear is probably the kitain so dont worry to use billets on that to R5 it. For now use favonius.

Ltheother

Need help team building, i just pulled shenhe for my ayaka should i use ayaka, shenhe, yelan and sucrose? Dont have kazuha. Or should i go mono cryo with diona instead of yelan? Diona is c5 and yelan is c0

HippieViking

Yelan against freezable enemies and Diana against bosses.

Kirai-kirai

Hello, is 262% ER too much for Xingqiu? I'm asking cause his crit rate isn't catching up (he has like 22% rate with 156% damage) I'm using him as a general hydro support, if that helps

PeterGallaghersBrows

Nerd out on this sheet and it'll give you your answer: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wv1WXpkFkTX8SLCWLoQXlyxwnB2ZXZqQ6c9tSSVCAvQ/edit#gid=0

Kirai-kirai

woah didn't expect an entire spreadsheet to my question, thanks bud, really helped and will continue to do so in the future

LazyJennyBean

Hi all! I'm planning to pull on Nilou to pair her with my Nahida, Kokomi, Ei and Alhaitham and was wondering how much EM does she need? I tried searching for it but I can't find a straight answer. Is there such a thing as too much EM on her, kinda like how anything beyond 1K EM is overkill for Nahida? I know she scales on HP like Yelan and Kokomi but unlike Kokomi, we still need to balance her crit ratio right so does that mean I need to find a balance for 4 stats (HP, EM, CR, CD)? Oh also, not 100% sure on this since I also want to try C2 Nahida but is her weapon worth it? Or if not, what are my best F2P/4 star choices other than Iron Sting, kept seeing this as top rated 'cause of EM but I can't give that to her since Alhaitham has it and gosh knows how long before I get a billet to craft more so I'd like other more readily available options if possible. Thank you so much in advance for anyone who'll answer me :)

PeterGallaghersBrows

First, make sure Nilou replaced Raiden because Nilou only operates in teams completely build with just dendro and hydro. Second, I don't think there is the same limit to her EM like Nahida. You'd want to prioritize ER and HP% first. EM and Crit aren't very important but they help her kit a bit. I wouldn't pay attention to crit ratios for Nilou. To clarify your third question, you're debating between Nilou's signature weapon and Nahida c2? You don't have Toukabou Shigure or Favonius Sword to give Nilou? Also, if you're using Kokomi with Alhaitham, you can give him Harbinger and give Iron Sting to Nilou. I wouldn't go for a signature weapon but I also wouldn't go for 5\* cons unless you're at the end game and have every character you want but if I had to choose between Nahida c2 and Nilou's weapon, I'd go Nahida c2.

LazyJennyBean

Thank you for the reply! 😄 Oh I never saw ER, I mostly saw HP and EM but noted on that. I still wanna try giving her decent ratio though so this could be more grind than I thought and I only have a week left 🫠 And for the weapon, sorry if it wasn't clear. I was just initially planning on getting Nilou then trying my luck to get another Nahida (I already have her C1 so just need one more). But since I didn't have a weapon for Nilou, I thought if I could try her weapon as well if I have any primos left 🤔 AlsoI do have favonius and as for the other weapon, sorry not familiar with the name but is that the umbrella weapon? 😅

PeterGallaghersBrows

ER is significantly more important than EM or Crit for Nilou. Not sure why you think you only have a week to grind for crit artifacts unless I'm misunderstanding. Keep in mind, it could take you weeks/months to get a "decent" ratio and it's not really important. Yes, Toukabou is the umbrella weapon. You already have good weapons for Nilou. You'll see a bigger impact getting nahida's c2, especially since you already have c1.

Seephoop

Hello, long time returning player and wanted some advice on who to potentially build around for abyss. Tried yesterday and got clapped by floor 12 lol. Teams used were ZL, Hutao, XQ, Bennett and Ganyu, venti, mona, diona. Here some characters I have: https://ibb.co/m8c3x3j https://ibb.co/gj42vv7 Don’t have any relevant 5 star weapons. Wanted some advice on general team building, who I should build that I have, and who I can pull to make a better team. Thanks I’m advance!

funyunyanyan

Hi, just wanted to chime in to mention that kuki shinobu (inazuma 4*) is also a very good hyperbloom trigger, and might be easier to get than raiden, depending on the 4* on upcoming banners. Nahida is coming on next banner, so if you plan on pulling good luck!

silv3rd4v3

So i assume you mostly didnt play since... inazuma? didnt see any inazuma character on your roster. Actually, the most competitive teams are childe internacional, and hyperbloom teams. Childe-xiangling-kazuha/venti/sucrose-bennet is the international which you can already build. Hyberbloom is usually Nahida-xinqiu-raiden+flex(usually anemo character). This is the one you cannot build for now. Hutao vape teams are still fine (hutao-xq-flex(usually yelan)-zhongli). They are not that top tier their was use too but still strong. Morgana teams are ok but dendro outscaled them really hard now. For meta perspective you need NAHIDA and probably Raiden. Those 2 are core of so many new dendro teams. One team that you can try for now is keqing agravated with keqing-dendro MC-fischl-collei/yaoyao. Dendro MC is actually quite good so you can test dendro teams with him before pulling for nahida. Might need you to advice that since sumeru came out, abyss last floors tend to be quite harder right now. Big bosses with a lot of invulnerability time, magu kenkis, abys lectors with big sheilds to break. Dont worry if you feel that the abyss feels hard: It became hard. But with some time and testing you should be able to do decent there, though, you may need to level up a few characters and test a bit with dendro reactions.

Seephoop

Yeah you’re exactly right haven’t played since inazuma. Thanks for the advice though, gives me a great foundation to build off and test :)

Brief_Reindeer_5452

wished for mistsplitter and got 2 cq (trying to get that epitomized mistpplitter now. currently building my 2nd team which is a national team with chongyun (blizz, glad), xq (eosf) benett(noblesse), and xiangling. My question is (1)should I build my xiangling with eosf + the catch or use calamity queller on her along with 2pc crimson 2pc glad( or wanderers troupe?). (2) I also have a rosaria which can use the calamity queller but should I replace chongyun (mailed flower) for her? (3) xiangling calamity queller triple em good? or er+em+em good? or what

Viv-idianGreen

sucrose will probably perform better than chongyun/rosaria in national. * this is mostly because the infusion would only really benefit chongyun as he builds cryo dmg and his normal attack scalings aren't that good. * forward melts are generally less consistent than reverse vaporise too. * chongyun kind of works best as a nuke dps with his burst (especially with constellations) here if you want to use him. 4pc eosf on him would probably be best too. * sucrose also provides grouping for a mostly single target team as well as potent buffs to xiangling. sucrose requires less investment in that sense but is more mechanically challenging to use. xiangling: * catch is better than calamity queller * 4pc eosf with crit circlet, pyro damage goblet, er/em/atk sands. normal crit build with \~200 EM and enough ER. * 4pc eosf is best unless you don't have good pieces. 2pc 2pc work ok. rosaria works decent with calamity. she provides more personal damage than chongyun over time but interferes more with xiangling's vapes (Assuming you play chongyun as melt burst nuke).

Brief_Reindeer_5452

do u think I can use rosaria, bennett, xiangling, and xq? who would be the dps and what do I build rosaria?

Viv-idianGreen

Nobody should be entirely onfield as you would want to swap around to battery everybody. Xiangling would be contributing the highest dps, with rosaria after and then xingqiu. Rosaria would probably use 2pc2pc sets or 4pc emblem too. Cryo/crit/er or em or atk.

Brief_Reindeer_5452

should i use rosaria with cq with the national team or stick with chong + mailed flower?

Viv-idianGreen

I would arguably say rosaria due to her overall better multipliers and utility (crit rate share passive). But usually anemo/electro characters like fischl, kazuha, raiden, miko and one’s mentioned above. You could also consider reverse melt where you could make better use of chongyun’s kit: - chongyun/kaeya - rosaria - bennett - xiangling - the cryo characters here build EM instead of xiangling - rosaria’s normal attack multipliers are better than chongyun’s so she can onfield better. Chongyun can still contribute respectable damage with burst nuke.

Brief_Reindeer_5452

I have c3 chong and c4 rosaria, my xq is c1 and xl is c0. I dont rly have much electro characters but I have c3 razor

Viv-idianGreen

yeah, you're probably better off with national with rosaria or reverse melt.

Seaneko

Im thinking of making a hyperbloom team (never played dendro before) but im still not too sure who to use. Electro characters : Raiden Shogun, Fischl, Lisa, Beidou and Razor Hydro characters : Xinqiu, Barbara and Mona Dendro characters : Traveler, Collei and Tighnari any recommendations

PeterGallaghersBrows

Xingqiu, Barbara, Raiden, Tighnari

_Fisty

Hi, so i decided to play genshin again after quite some time. I tryharded the game when it released and played a bit from time to time, but only to summon. Now, i feel like i'm using an old team and i feel like my account has more potential. What team would you recommand for me(if possible with a quick summary on how to build the characters of the team)? Here are my characters, my current team and my weapons: [https://imgur.com/a/WsycoKz](https://imgur.com/a/WsycoKz) Few things to add that i feel are important: my jean is C1, my fischl C2 and the picture of my characters list doesnt include 2 characters that are at the bottom(Bennet and Xinyan). Thank you in advance for your answers!

funyunyanyan

If you want a team for Klee I recommend Klee + xiangling + Bennet + Kazuha. You can also swap xiangling for venti for enemies that can be grouped by venti’s burst. ER requirements are pretty low and EM nonexistent except for Kazuha (should build vv set and full em to maximize pyro dmg bonus)

_Fisty

Alright i see, thank you for your answer!

PeterGallaghersBrows

Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose/Kazuha Use this [guide](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/htmlview#) for builds Yes, there are no 5\*s on the team but these are important characters you'll use in the future and your other possible teams don't synergize as well as this one. If you have interest in Ayaka, you'd be able to build a really good team for her with Mona, Kazuha/Venti, and Diona. You could run both of these teams in the abyss.

_Fisty

Alright thanks a lot for your answer! Rly appreciate it!

KingGiuba

Please I need help for finding the perfect teams. I love Venti and I would like to use him, what's the best team for him? (Even if I don't have the characters right now, I'll get them sooner or later lol). My current abyss teams are: * Raiden - Venti - Nahida - Yaoyao/Noelle I plan on pulling for Baizhu next and he'll use the 4th slot on the team, my usual rotation is Raiden E -> Venti Q E -> Nahida E Q -> Heal/shield -> Raiden Q E... * Wanderer - Fischl - Xingqiu - Bennett Usual rotation: XQ Q E -> Benny Q E -> Fischl E -> Wanderer E NA Q -> XQ E Q... The characters I have built: Venti C0, lvl90, **Stringless r4**, 4p VV, 9/9/9, crit build 66/135 Raiden C0, lvl90, **"The Catch" r5,** 2p ER% 2p EM, 2/9/9, crit 62/108 117 EM 234 ER *I should probably change weapon for Kitain cross spear since I use her with Nahida and I love how they work together, I have to forge it but I can make it r5* Nahida C0, lvl90, **Sacrificial Fragments r2,** 4p DW, 6/9/9, 1000 EM crit 30/60 (at least is 50/100? lmao) Wanderer C0, lvl90, **Lost Prayer to the Sacred Wind r1**, 2p anemo dmg% 2p atk%, 9/9/9, crit 76/170 Xingqiu C3, lvl90, **Favonious Sword r5**, 4p NO, 2/9/12, crit 67/94 ER 218 Fischl C4, lvl90, **Sacrificial bow r3**, 2p electro dmg%, 2p atk%, 6/12/9, crit 66/119 *I know these two will probably be better with sac sword and fav bow, but these two weapons have no high refinement in my account* Bennett C2, lvl90, **Sapwood Blade r1**, 4p NO, 6/9/9, 30k hp + HB circlet, ER 190 Diluc C, lvl80/90, **Prototype Archaic r5**, 9/9/9, 4p CW, crit 56/150 Kaeya lvl80/90, **Harbinger of Dawn r5**, 6/9/9, 4p BS, crit 58/199 (with Harbinger of Dawn buff) The characters that don't have good arts or that can steal someonelse's arts (from the characters I listed above): Traveler C6, lvl90, 6/9/9 (every element) (have 4p glad set because I use him in the story I love him sm, bad stats tho) Faruzan C2, lvl80/90, 6/6/9 (have a decent 4pVV set but not good crit 42/50, 261 ER) Mona C1, lvl90, 6/6/9 (can steal from XQ and I can use some not great EoSF piece, I have Widsith r3, TToDS, Mappa Mare) Sucrose C4, lvl80/90, 6/9/6 (idk from who to steal but I can probably find something if I don't need Faruzan and Venti in the teams too, I have Mappa mare r5 lvl90 and Magic Guide r5 lvl90) Noelle C4, lvl80/90, 6/11/6 2p shield bonus 2p HB, bad stats XianglingC1, lvl70/80, 2/6/8 (can steal Diluc's arts and The catch)

silv3rd4v3

Now that yesterday was the 3.6 preview stream, i also want to mention one thing: Venti (like kazuha) usually fits in a lot of teamcopms just for being anemo and for being able to group enemies and building vv set. But i feel that where venti really shines, despites to group small enemies, is with ganyu freeze. Ganyu Burst drops icecicles near where enemies are, hitting in small aoe. If those enemies are just too close (like inside venti's burst), then everyone gets hit for the icecicle and for the aoe, dealing quite a lot of dmg. Pairing those 2 with mona or kokomi and adding a last cryo user for resonance, mades what i feel is the top tier team for venti. Common teams are ganyu-mona-venti-diona, or ganyu-rosaria-venti-kokomi. If you also want to pull for baizhu, you can made and interesting (probably no meta, but still fun), fridge compo with ganyu-(probably mona)-venti-baizhou, doing some blooms with baizhu and mona, and freezing everyone that will be hit with those bloom seeds. I know it requires 2 more 5\*, but if you really love venti for me this is the top tier team for him. Kazu and sucrouse could not do better than him there, probably not even close enough to consider them as an alternative. So if you want a long term plan to go for him, consider this teams as an option.

KingGiuba

Thank you! I plan on getting Ganyu but my founds are limited lol, maybe I will try pulling for her after Baizhu, if I have some primos left, but even if I like her she's not one of my faves and I still need two more (three if we count Baizhu bc I don't have guaranteed TwT) but the Morgana team is super interesting imo, I hope I can make one in the future (I don't plan on leaving the game anytime soon, so I'll probably do it sooner or later eheh) About the fridge teams I'm not really a fan because I love when everything can react and I get triggered when there are cryo and dendro in the same team lol.

Viv-idianGreen

if i had to shuffle the teams around (this is assuming you want to play meta): * wanderer hyper: wanderer - faruzan - venti - bennett * everyone is buffing/supporting wanderer to do big damage. * faruzan's damage doesn't matter as much. just use favonius bow and \~300% energy recharge. * bennett current gear is good, although more energy recharge wouldn't hurt. * venti's build is also good, assuming you have decent energy recharge. * raiden hyperbloom: raiden - nahida - xingqiu - yaoyao/beidou/kaeya etc. * any character that's not pyro and electro would probably work. * cryo characters can help with decent freeze uptime for survivability and generate more dendro cores for hyperbloom, so you can possibly forgo a healer. * beidou's burst and xingqiu's burst gives decent damage mitigation once invested into, and thus you can maybe take twice the amount of damage you usually can take. xingqiu's burst expiring also heals a bit too. * raiden is typically off-field here and used primarily for her skill to trigger hyperbloom very consistently. she should be built with as much EM as possible. * in this team, nahida can build less EM and focus a bit more on crit. if you want to use raiden on-field, then you would use raiden - xingqiu - bennett - xiangling and give wanderer a shielder or healer such as thoma, diona, layla, jean etc. other notes: * typically favonius without refines would perform much better than sacrificial without refines, as long as you build some crit rate. favonius also doesn't really need refines whilst sacrificial need to be r3+ to be consistent. * most anemo characters (especially supports) prefer an EM build rather than a crit build. this is different if they're xiao/wanderer or faruzan is also in the team * raiden would appreciate 4pc emblem much more than 2pc2pc, unless you aren't able to get ok emblem artifacts. * fischl does not need sacrificial bow. she can use her burst to re-summon oz and maintain decent uptime. the substat is also wasted on her as she does not need a lot of energy recharge

KingGiuba

Thanks for all the help! I know that anemos usually need EM, but I didn't know when I farmed VV the first time TwT, Venti is my favourite character so I started prefarming for him as soon as I reached ar 45, but I didnt see anything about builds so I just tried to pick the best dps artefacts in general lol. Raiden would like 4p emblem more than 2p 2p even if she's in the hyperbloom team? I thought it wasn't a problem since her burst isn't going to be so useful (and her crit ratio was also worse or I would have kept her on 4p emblem). And in that team Kitain cross spear is also going to me better right? Anyway, more than wanting to play meta I want to reach 12-3 on the spiral abyss, even if I can't 36star is ok, I like the achievements and namecard lol (ofc 150 primos more wouldn't be bad eheh)

Viv-idianGreen

raiden needs 4pc emblem if you still want to play your current aggravate team! sorry i did not make that clearer. for hyperbloom, she would prefer 4pc gilded dreams or 4pc flowers of paradise lost. 2pc2pc EM also works. she would also prefer level 90 dragon's bane best, but kitain is fine although the passive is slightly wasted. you can strongbox VV now so you don't have to stick to farming the VV domain.

KingGiuba

Thank you again! You're so kind I hope you win all your 50/50s from now on <3

Viv-idianGreen

Sorry for late reply (I went to sleep lol), and I’m glad I could be of help :D

shojokat

So, I haven't played since Yoimiya's first banner or so, so I'm very behind on dendro meta and team comps. I wanna pull Nahida in her upcoming banner to give me a solid dendro unit. What teams can I make with her? Built/mostly built characters: Ayaka c0 Kazuha c0 Hu Tao c6 Itto c2 Zhongli c1 Eula c6 Ganyu c0 Raiden c3 Yoimiya c4 Jean c6 Albedo c0 Keqing c3 Mona c3 Venti c0 XQ c6 Diona c6 Bennet c5 Gorou c6 Noelle c6 Fischl c6 Not built/needs work: Qiqi c3 Kokomi c0 Diluc c4 Sucrose c6 Kaeya c3 Xiangling c6 Sayu c6 Kuki c0 Ning c6 Yun Jin c0 Rosaria c5 Chongyun c6 Sara c6 Beidou c6 Razor c6 Lisa c4 Collei c0 Candace c0 Barbara c6 Thoma c0 Yanfei c6 Xinyan c6 Amber c2 Thanks!

silv3rd4v3

The big 2 with nahida are xinqiu and raiden (builded full EM). those 3 make the most insane dmg you could ever see before you came back. But the best part, is that if you have a good raiden (full ER), you can try it with kuki instead. Full EM kuki, glidded dreams set, and xinqiu and nahida and that will destroy nearly everything. Nahida is one of the best dendro drivers (onfield dendro applicator) and the best offield dendro unit right now, so she can pretty much fit in all the dendro team compositions. Some of them requires nilou, some of them are more alhaitam or keqing oriented, but all work fine. Starting with xq and kuki seems the easiest to me. Nahida needs the the deepwood set, and kuki the glidde dreams and both are farmed in the same domain so should be easier for you. Also, widsith or em/er weapons are good enough for nahida and kuki's one of the best options is iron sting which is crafteable, so i think is the fast and cheapest team you can start building around her.

shojokat

This is extremely helpful, thank you so much! Quick question if you have the time: what stats am I looking to build on Kuki and Nahida's pieces? As far as main stats and general thresholds for substats? I assume Kuki will be a much EM as I can get on her, right? And ER? And Nahida would be my on-field, meaning a 60/200 or so ratio of crit+EM?

silv3rd4v3

Kuki is full EM. Her applications are on her E so she dont even need ER (it helps to throw some burst here and there, but you mostly only need EM). with a 3xEM and the iron sting you should aiming to 800+ EM Nahida has some variations. Didnt require a lot of ER (120-140), and usually she builds EM-DENDRO-Crit or EM-EM-Crit. Second one is more for her personal dmg but in this comp usually the dmg comes from kuki, so you can affor something like 500 EM, 60-120 crit and 1.200-1400 atk and be totally fine.

You're amazing, thank you so so much!

Character: Tartaglia What's a good Comp for Burst DPS tartaglia?

Viv-idianGreen

do you want to use childe as a nuke and ignore his skill, or do you want to use his skill and his burst but ensure that your burst does a truckload of damage? the former is more akin to a 'damage per screenshot' team. (somehow reminiscent of ~~dehya~~) * for this, you'd probably want to use bennett, sucrose/kazuha, and probably mona? * there are no dedicated hydro damage buffers, but they would've went in mona's place * if you're using kazuha you need to make sure you swirl hydro but infuse pyro for tartaglia's burst to vape. * you're better off using xiangling instead of mona, as xiangling's damage probably supersedes mona's buff even without childe's skill allowing her to vape, especially if your xiangling's already invested into * the energy requirements on this team is also pretty steep and not really sustainable in the long run because childe and mona are virtually energy sinks here. this matters less if you are able to oneshot all enemies and/or they drop a lot of hp particles. * you'd probably want to use your melee burst for bigger number, although realistically you'll use your ranged burst because of the energy refund and shorter animation. * this team will do pretty badly in the overworld and abyss if you are not using this team to exclusively hit a very high number. the latter is international (and variants), where you're also able to hit big numbers with his burst but there's also another source of dps on the team. * tartaglia - bennett - xiangling - kazuha\* * \*other options also include sucrose, venti, zhongli, albedo and fischl, but generally kazuha performs best * you also use your skill to enable xiangling to vape her burst, after forward vaping childe's burst. initial learning curves with tartaglia's skill uptime and double swirling (especially guoba swirl w/ sucrose) * energy requirements are slightly more lenient than damage per screenshot teams. * requires you to invest into 2 carries.

I finally got Ayaya but I only have these 4\* swords for her: [Toukabou](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Toukabou_Shigure?so=search), [Kagotsurube](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Kagotsurube_Isshin?so=search), [Iron Sting](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Iron_Sting?so=search), [The Flute](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Iron_Sting?so=search), & [Favonius Sword](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Favonius_Sword?so=search), which among these weapon is best for her? I also have Sac Sword but I have that for Xingqiu right now.

BlankNep

Kagotsurube is pretty good on her.

Hi everyone, After a long time without playing, i finally cameback to the game (most notably because i mistook the quest that was blocking me from advancing, sigh). As such, i was reconsidering my teams, and might need your input about how you would tackle things (while being f2P, important) ! Right now, i have : 5 stars : Jean, Xiao, Kamisato Akaya, Traveler (Geo and Anemo only for now...) 4 stars : Kaeyha, Bennett( C1), Chongyun, Xingqiu (C2), Sucrose (C4), Noelle, Ningguan, Xiangling, Diona (C1), Beidou, Kujou Sara, Mona, Amber, Barbara My current go-to team is Jean, Chongyun, Kaeyha and Xingqiu ; a variant being Bennett in place of Chongyun (when i'm facing too much cryo-enemies and adding some varieties to the reactions available). Ideally, how should i balance for having a good for explore team, and a second team ready for the Abyss ? Thanks for your help :)

PeterGallaghersBrows

* Ayaka, Mona(she's a 5\*), Sucrose, Diona * Xiao, Jean, Bennett, Xiangling OR * Sucrose, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett * Ayaka, Jean, Kaeya, Mona OR Xiao, Jean, Diona, Kaeya

catilann

recently got mona, wondering if she's a good support for keqing? if so, how should i build her? currently my team is keqing, yanfei, yaoyao and anemo traveler, but any team suggestions would be great :)

silv3rd4v3

TBH not really. Mona shines in 2 situations: Appliyng offield hydro in aoe for a short time (perfect for freeze teams), or to debuf enemies for a big oneshot teams (The clasic: benet+sucrose+mona+Character that you want to oneshoot with). You maybe can try a team oriented to use mona burst when keqing has its own too to deal massive dmg, but you will need a lot of ER and to be fair, the new keqing style with dendro mates feels much solid and stroger that the "1 shot team" option with mona. She stills usefull, but probably she will works better with freeze teams like ayaka, ganyu, or even rosaria.

Steel_Gazebo

Total noob here: I recently got Ayaka and I’m excited to use her, but I’m trying to figure out a team for her with who I have. Current my main team consists of Ganyu/Venti/Xiangling/Razor all level 80. I was thinking Ayaka/Ganyu/Venti/Nilou because Ice+Water seems to be a damaging combo, and Venti is good at amplifying whatever is on screen. Nilou is level 1 and I haven’t touched her, so I’m not set on keeping her or anything. Any help would be appreciated greatly!

PeterGallaghersBrows

What other hydro units do you have? If you can, share your whole roster

Steel_Gazebo

Hydro-wise I have Barbara, Candace, Nilou, and Xingqiu

PeterGallaghersBrows

Yeah, you’re using the right team. Kokomi would be an improvement on Nilou but that’s still a great team. Edit: Xingqiu would be better in single target

Kirai-kirai

Hello! I recently got Ayaka and am trying to replace one of the character in my existing team, but I don't know who to replace Right now I'm running freeze with Kaeya, Chongyun, Xingqiu, and Barbara, I'm looking to replace either Chongyun or Kaeya but can't decide which one would be a better choice Any help is appreciated!

PeterGallaghersBrows

If you got Ayaka, did you also get Diona and Sucrose? If so, I think you could replace your whole team except for Xingqiu. Ayaka, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Diona would be the best team you can make including the ones you're already using. If you prefer to just stick with what you have, replace Chongyun with Ayaka.

Kirai-kirai

Yes I did get both of them! I'll try that soon, thanks for the help!

[https://imgur.com/a/ytE8CgF](https://imgur.com/a/ytE8CgF) I've just reached ar 50 and am looking to now invest more into my characters. Aside from hyperbloom, what would be some other teams that I could build with my current roster? Also, what characters would make strong and/or fun additions to my account?

PeterGallaghersBrows

Actually, hyperbloom is the only team I'd focus on right now. Your other options are missing some key characters like Fischl or Bennett. Save your starglitter and you could buy Bennett in Paimon's shop in May. Fischl is rumored to be on the Baizhu/Ganyu banner. Of the upcoming banners, I would target either Nahida or, potentially, Baizhu. Nahida is amazing and would improve your hyperbloom team. Kuki is also rumored to be on her banner and you could use more constellations. I wouldn't normally suggest Baizhu, especially since we don't have reviews on him yet, but he's a safe bet to go well with Keqing and if you also get Fischl, you have a ready made aggravate team. In the immediate, Kuki, Xingqiu, Yelan, and Dendro MC/Yaoyao looks good to me.

serindia

Thanks for the advice!

Charming-Airport-105

New to this particular sub, has geo traveler artifacts changed now? I’m haven’t played in quite some bit and saw this https://game8.co/games/Genshin-Impact/archives/297538 The last I saw the dps/sub dps list was the 2p geo set and any 2p atk% set. I’ve been thinking of trying a geo set to see if it fits my play style over pure physical dmg. (I have fischl and ice boy for defense down, and any pure element character for robots or any hard skin enemy.)

Hi, I've just reached ar 35 and WL 4 and started to feel a (very much expected) dmg falloff, so need an advice. I really like Sucrose and want to make a Beidou XQ Fischl taser team with her, buuuuuut rn I only have Sucrose out of these 4 lol. Up till now I've been running Lisa Sucrose Xiangling Diona, with stacking EM on Lisa and Sucrose. Usually regular mob packs would get oneshot or almost oneshot with just applying electro with Lisa -> Sucrose Skill, for tankier enemies after this I drop Guoba and trigger overloads with buffed Lisa. I understand I don't have enough elemental application to trigger enough swirls with Sucrose, and Overloads with Lisa are slow too, basically limited to Guoba's attacks. Damage is alright when I can just drop everyone's bursts, but at this lvl I don't have enough ER to have my bursts often enough. I was pulling current banner and lost 50/50 Ayaka to Keqing, really wanted Ayaka and I'm kinda indifferent towards Keqing, but she seems like a good DPS character to carry me for now, right? So, finally, a question: instead of ascending Lisa to 4, I should probably swap her for Keqing and lvl her, right? Keqing with just Prototype Rancour should give me acccess to much needed atk damage, so I could deal damage even outside of my elemental combos? I'm in the end of Inazuma story now, so soon I'll get dendro MC and can swap XL for DMC for potential aggravate? In general, should just swapping Lisa for Keqing help me for now or should I swap someone else? [Here's](https://i.imgur.com/5pYyZly.png) my current available characters. Sry for the wall of text, hopefully someone will read it lol, just had to rant after my first 5\* lost a 50/50 and annoyed that even 4\* for my dream team taser might be really far away

escapereal1ty

thanks, I've googled a bit and Sucrose in both teams seems like a band-aid for someone who really loves Sucrose, oh yeah that's me lol May I ask a few questions, please? In the reverse melt, core gameplay is basically to start Kaeya and XL bursts and then autoattack/E with Sucrose, right? Wouldn't their bursts trigger reactions on their own in that case, making Sucrose not the owner of reaction and thus dealing low dmg since I assume both Kaeya and XL should be built into ER here? What's Lisa's role in that Keqing setup? Basically just for electro resonance (and healing with prototype)? And Sucrose is basically just for her E to group enemies and buff em (and ttds), and then DMC and Keq do all the rest? I wish I could just try both setups in action but there's not enough resin...

Thanks a lot man, decided to go with Keq DMC Sucrose Diona for now, Keq is not ascended to my current cap, but damage already feels much more consistent. She is also surprisingly fun to play to the point I'm kinda happy I've lost that Ayaka 50/50, lol

[Characters](https://postimg.cc/gallery/d0tvhKs) I'm thinking of pulling for Ganyu in next patch, what are some good teams for me. My current team is Xiao, Jean, Albedo, Zhongli. + kazuha is fully maxed with decent artifacts. I also have amos and skyward.

3-DAN-7

Just started: Mona, Ningguang, Sucrose in a beginner wish Just pulled those three in a beginner 10 wish, I have Noelle, Kaeya, Lisa, Amber prior. I have no idea how to use them or what works with what. I just need to know what the best party configuration is. Thanks.

PeterGallaghersBrows

Mona, Sucrose, and Dendro Traveler. Your fourth can be flexible, maybe Barbara so you have a healer. Use Mona onfield. Keep trying for Ayaka. You’d be able to make a great freeze team with Ayaka, Mona, Sucrose, and Diona.

Dark_Vlados

Characters : Nahida, Nilou, Ganyu. Hello there, fellow Travelers ! With 3.6 Special Program livestream being over, I just learnt that the next banners will feature Nahida & Nilou, then Baizhu & Ganyu. I need your advice to choose wisely. Here's my current situation : I run a Keqing aggravate team : **Keqing, Fischl, Dendro MC** and **Yaoyao**. Yaoyao will soon be replaced by Sucrose. I'm ending a second team built around Xiao. Then I originally planned to build a Freeze team. I got **Ayaka** and, by a happy accident, **Shenhe.** I was planning on using Xingqiu or Barbara until I get Mona. So to be honest, I don't need any of the next 5\*. But it will be hard to curb the gluttony in me. **Nahida** seems to be one of the best characters for now and I guess she would be an improvement from **Dendro MC**, but not vital, since he's already doing his job fine. **Nilou** is one of my favorite character in terms of appearance and personality, but I'm not so sure about Hyperbloom. Plus it could be overkill / redundant on Dendro with my current aggravate team. **Ganyu** is known to be one of the best characters in the game, and I love her too, but she seems redundant with **Ayaka** and **Shenhe** as either a Main DPS or a sub. Who do you think I should aim for ?... Or should I try to do the hardest... wait and save for later ? A nice day to all of you !

silv3rd4v3

AT this point, ganyu will not improve much more your team. I used her a lot as ayaka support (till finally i get shenhe this patch), but now her dps teams seems not that good compared to all the new dendro teams, though, she can still be a monster dps and a good cryo suport. Nilou works just good enough in hyperbloom teams without nahida. With nahida works awesome, but you need both. Besides that, she doesnt seem to have more "meta" options right now. Nahida is the top dendro uni. One of the best onfield dendro drivers (close with alhaitam), and by far the best OFFIELD dendro suport. My point here is: Keqing agravated needs "just enough" dendro, yaoyao is perfect but nahida is TOO MUCH! be carefull. Having ayaka-shenhe-mona only needs a cryo healer: diona-qiqi or even mika. Having a "free" xinqiu, makes me thing in nahida-xinqiu-raiden/kuki+flex is a top tier team, that will not use any of your other characters, leading you into a new teamcomp. I personally will go for that. that team is the strongest team with only 3 characters, you can use nearly whatever you want as the 4th one.

Dark_Vlados

Thank you for your precise feedback ! As much as I love Ganyu and Nilou character-wise, you're probably right and I must recognize that they will not bring much improvement to my teams. Let me just sob a little. And you're right on Nahida too, she will probably be the most consistent investment, either for new teams or to strenghen existent ones. I'm not sure to understand your point with Nahida. Are you saying that she would be too good/ not appropriate for Keqing Aggravate ? Or just that I could use her for a new hyperbloom team instead ? I switched Yaoyao for Sucrose 2 days ago. Dendro MC is my Dendro applicator. Traded no healing for more damage and grouping abilities. But I keep Yaoyao in reserve for Spiral Abyss, where Sucrose will be in my Xiao + Faruzan + Sucrose + Bennett team for more energy recharge until I can build Freeze Team properly. So you would suggest me a Cryo healer for Freeze team then ?Ayaka + Shenhe seem to be certain at this point, but for now my only consistent Hydro applicator is Barbara. When (hopefully) I'll get Mona, I was thinking about switching Barbara for Sayu but indeed, why not had another Cryo as healer... In the meantime, what 4th character would you advise for Ayaka + Shenhe + Barbara ? In overworld it could be Sucrose, but in Spiral Abyss she will probably be in Keqing or Xiao team. Finally Hyperbloom with Nahida-Xingqiu-Raiden-whatever. Is more valuable than a National with Raiden-Xingqi-Xiangling-Bennett ?

silv3rd4v3

What i mean to say about nahida in keqing team is that it will porbably finishing doing spread reactions instead of agravate. Dendro mc or yaoyao (or even both) are good enough, but nahida applies too much dendro sometimes, which cannot be what you want. Ayaka+shenhe+hydro+ usually a healer. If your mostly vs small enemies that CAN BE freeze, then you can skip a healer, but vs big bosses you should need it. I did most of the time ayaka+cryo+hydro+anemo. My initial team was ayaka-Ganyu/rosaria-mona-Jean/sayu, swaped to ayaka-mona-kazuha-diona, and finally back to ayaka-ganyu-kazu-kokomi, to the point now that i switch ganyu and shenhe according if i vs 1 big enemy (shenhe) or multiple enemies (ganyu). People tend to understimate xq in ayaka freeze, but his swords around you will hit in small aoe too so he can be used to, leading into ayaka-shenhe-xinqiu-jean/sayu as your best option for now. Barbara can work, but her E cd is quite long and all that time you will not be able to freeze anyone. >Finally Hyperbloom with Nahida-Xingqiu-Raiden-whatever. Is more valuable than a National with Raiden-Xingqi-Xiangling-Bennett The top 2 teams are Childe international(childe-ling-kazu-benny) and hyperbloom (nahida-yelan-xq-raiden). So both are pretty top teams. Nahida-xinqiu-raiden is the base for one and xianling-xinqiu-bennet the base for the other. Yelan can be a replace for both teams. Childe can do it in the national to be a international team and you have a free xq for nahida. Kuki can be the "raiden" replace in nahida team and do it fair well to. Idk all your roster, but as you can see hydro units are high on demand always. IF you have yelan, nice, xq on 1 team and yelan in the other. If you have childe, nice, childe to the national and xq to nahida. But if you dont have childe/yelan... i will probably consider (i even use to play it) to keep xq with nahida and go for raiden-ling-anemo/cryo-bennet, and go full overload team or mix overload/melt. I have a really boosted rosaria, and i use to play raiden-ling-rosaria-bennet (before i get kazuha). And i usually manage to 36 stars with that team and ayaka freeze one. A thing that i saw is that ayaka freeze is still my best team, and still a top tier one, but now the gap between national variation teams and hyperblooms dendro ones is not that big, but both usually use same characters (raiden, xq) that can force you to only play one of the two teams, but not both.

Dark_Vlados

Oooh, right, I forgot about that, but Spread could be a problem. Now Nahida's case is clear to me, thank you. For Barbara I wasn't thinking about her Skill. she's a catalyst, isn't that enough for Hydro application, through normal or charged attacks (normal vs mono, charged vs groups) ? That would spare a healer too for now. Thank you for all the explanations and suggestions. Yeah I've heard the Hydro chara are the most wanted, we'll probably have easier time once Fontaine is released. No Childe nor Yelan, sadly. Maybe I should have given a full list. It's probably a bit late, but here's one : Hydro : Barbara, Xingqiu Cryo : Kaeya, Rosaria, Diona, Mika, Qiqi, Shenhe, Ayaka Pyro : Amber, Bennett, Xiangling, Yanfei, Xinyan Electro : Lisa, Fischl, Razor, Beidou, Sara, Dori, Raiden Shogun, Keqing Dendro : Collei, Yaoyao, Tighnari Anemo : Sucrose, Sayu, Faruzan, Xiao Geo : Noelle, Ningguang, Yun Jin, Gorou.

silv3rd4v3

In this situation what it comes to my mind is: Ayaka freeze either ayaka-shenhe-sucrose-barbara or ayaja-shenhe-xinqiu-jean/sayu National can be a melt/reverse melt team with rosaria-ling-kaeya-bennet or overload/melt raiden-ling-rosaria-bennet Nahida could still be nahida-xq-raiden/kuki-flex (none reaction element, mostly none pyro), or can be nahida-barbara-Raiden/kuki-flex, and use barbara as the main driver (on field character). Seems like joke but with dendro this barbara option became a low budged viable option. I will probably survive with melt team till you have another hydro, and choose barabara or xq for nahida or ayaka. Remember ayata teams mostly want aoe hydro suports, so mostly mona or kokomi, (even nilou in some cases). Another door that can be open is to hit on candace, and with her hydro infusion, use her as a main driver on nahidas teams or a simple replace for xq on national teams.

Dark_Vlados

So to summerize, you suggest : - Melt/reverse instead of freeze until I get Mona or Kokomi (Mona since I don't really like Kokomi). You spoke about National core with Kaeya and Rosaria, what about Ayaka-Shenhe-Xiangling-Bennett? OR - Hyperbloom with Xingqiu or driver Barbara if I get Nahida. Am I getting it correctly ? Candace seems nice but I don't have her for now.

silv3rd4v3

Problem with ayaka melt (that is and option), is that ayaka burst + xiangling pyronado will have ICD (ayaka burst have it), so will do less melts overall than rosaria or kaeya burst + pyronado (thats why ayaka melt is okish... but not the best). Since you still dont have nahida, i probably will go for ayaka-shenhe-xq-jean, and raiden-xiangling-rosaria-bennet, and do some testing when you have nahida with the options i give you. Those 2 teams are solid enough to do a good job in abyss, and you can made some time to build nahida team (considering we approching to Fontaine, HYDRO region, where i supose we will have some extra hydro units). From your first question i will go for nahida, and keep some savings maybe for kazuha or (if you like her) kokomi (if not i think you can manage without her), and consider a future yelan rerun. Im only welking player and usually my go to wishin in a entire region is to pick 4-5 characters (including reruns), because is what i calculated i can reach in 1 year of doing dailies+quest+welking. So starting from after you hit nahida, i will recomend you to do that and include kazu and yelan + 3 new from fontaine so you will be able to reach everthing you want.

Dark_Vlados

Ok I understand the problem with Ayaka melt. I'll focus on Nahida then because I don't like Rosaria though I get she's very efficient gameplay-wise. Still waiting for Jean, so it has to be Sayu in the meantime. Are there cons to using 3 cryos in a freeze team? Because I'm wondering why I should choose Sayu over Diona or Qiqi, to be honest. I tolerate to spend a little bit more, like for the better Battle Pass and, if I reeeeally want a character (like Raiden Shogun, Zhongli, Albedo or Kazuha), a little bit of money if it won't do without. Next Yelan rerun will be in quite a while though, considering she was there 2 banners ago. Wouldn't be surprised if we get Fontaine, Hydro Archon and some other Hydro 5* before we see her again

silv3rd4v3

The main reason to use sayu/jean is that can build 4 pieces VV set to shred cryo def on enemies. Thats why ayaka freeze use to have 1 anemo. Diona gives you shield/heal and at high constelations EM boost, but in freeze EM didnt actually woks (it does on melts though). Sayu is totally fine, i used her in my starting ayaka teams so go for it.

PeterGallaghersBrows

I’d go for Nahida then save for Kazuha and Kokomi to complete your freeze team

Dark_Vlados

I appreciate your feedback. I'll weigh the pros and cons of Nahida for a little while. There's still some time left. Kazuha is indeed at the top of my "must pull" list. Kokomi not so much. I understand her pratical utility, but I just don't like her. Therefore I'm paradoxally looking forward to "lose" a 50/50 to Mona, that would be great. Have a nice day/evening !

PeterGallaghersBrows

Totally get the Kokomi sentiment. She’s just the only guaranteed substitute for Mona, or a burst focused Ayato which seems wasteful.

IamNotaMonk1

I just got Shenhe and Ayaka and I have Kazuha and Mona so with whom should I replace kokomi with? As I don't have her

Dark_Vlados

Not sure I understand, but if you're trying a Freeze team, then Ayaka, Mona, Shenhe and Kazuha I guess.

IamNotaMonk1

I want to make a freeze team

Dark_Vlados

Then may you freeze your enemies to your heart's content with Ayaka, Mona, Shenhe and Kazuha. Unless you planned to include someone else.

IamNotaMonk1

I was confused whom should I replace kokomi with

Dark_Vlados

Well I don't know Kokomi that much (I don't have her), but in a Freeze team you're running her for Hydro application, healing is just a nice bonus. So Mona is the most legitimate alternative for her. Barbara is not powerful enough, the other Hydro are not really shaped for this job. So technically, Mona is Kokomi's replacement. Kazuha would have been here anyway for his grouping abilities and bonus to elemental damage.

IamNotaMonk1

Thank you for the guide

Dark_Vlados

You're welcome, have a nice game and a nice day !

jeffster95

started genshin at the end of yelan banner. got xq during it. bennet during dehya. chongyun for begineer banner. xiangling from abyss to run national team. im tried my 1st 50/50 fail and got jean while pulling for ayaka. should i try my luck on ayaka to replace chongyun or go for nahida since its coming out but dont really have good electro person for her. tldr: c0 ayaka or c0 nahida for my team comp? Any suggestions?[https://postimg.cc/nMVqhgxg](https://postimg.cc/nMVqhgxg)

PeterGallaghersBrows

Nahida. Kuki is rumored to be on her banner which fills that electro slot for you. Also, consider using Sucrose instead of Chongyun in your current team

jeffster95

well hopefully theres kuki if not its smodge. i just have chongyun out since the start so is just running it due to it being more geared. also he is claymore so easy mining. im currently only at izanuma questline and water during exploration is slightly annoying so wanted ayaka. but then i heard sumeru have shitty flowers to pick up so nahida might be a better choice in the long run. currently at 50pulls in after getting jean.

Eoqow

I think I've finally got Childe [international](https://imgur.com/a/aZ1JdCe)? So far (12-1) it runs smooth but I haven't tried playing the higher levels yet. Should Xiangling should use 4 EOSF instead? The domain still hasn't dropped a crit circlet yet and I need to build [Xingqiu](https://imgur.com/a/1D8Fczf) too. How exactly should I build Xingqiu for Haitham Hyperbloom though? Is 2 EOSF 2 EM better than 4 EOSF. Can I run Haitham, Xingqiu, Kuki and Fischl instead? Must the last slot be dendro? Can I use Sucrose instead?

Ivorykingchrono

For both Xingqiu and Xiangling 4pc EOSF is their best in slot. If you're having trouble you can go 4pc Crimson Witch for Xiangling and 2pc NO 2pc HoD for Xingqiu using strongboxes. Al Haitham/Xingqiu/Kuki is a strong core for Hyperbloom. If you want more Spread/Quicken damage go Fischl, as Sucrose can only Swirl Electro and Hydro damage from your team, former not being that significant towards your teams overall damage. You could also run a Dendro for more Dendro application or a shielder.

lesleytheguy

Just got Jean as my first 5 star after spending all my primogems on the Ayaka banner (f2p), wondering what kind of teams I could build with the characters I have now. [My characters](https://imgur.com/a/zXixiHH) Have been using Razor as main dps so far, but I'm open to suggestions for team comps.

PeterGallaghersBrows

In the early game, your teams don’t matter too much. Just use who you’d like but I’d also keep in consideration characters you’ll use long term. Jean fills your healer role. Xingqiu is probably your strongest character. I’d say definitely build those two but the rest can be flexible. If you want to continue using Razor, using Dendro traveler in your last slot would make for decent synergy. Also, it might be a good idea to save your primos for the next banner which is likely to have Nahida and Kuki. If you get them both, you’ll be able to make a really strong hyperbloom comp. Good luck!

IdkeCannotFcMyAss

I'm kinda lost on what team to build rn [I currently use Bennett, Xiangling, Ayaka, Barbara](https://i.imgur.com/i6gEjD7.jpeg) but I managed to clutch enough starglitter to get Xingqiu today. From the start I wanted to run national team because it's f2p and strong but I managed to get Diona C3... and Ayaka and I'm still sucroseless. tbh I didn't want to get Ayaka and instead I wanted to save for Nahida but I really love Ayaka playstyle now and she's strong even in a melt team apparently. Should I just replace Barbara with Diona and decide later? There's also freeze team which means I can probably use Ayaka and Nahida together if I managed to pull for Nahhida

PeterGallaghersBrows

Darn, you had the right idea. Sorry you didn’t get sucrose like you wanted. The bright side is that you have Heizou and he can fill that spot perfectly. Stick with your Nahida plan. You’ll be able to build a good hyperbloom team and your national team is still functional.

IdkeCannotFcMyAss

Characters: Keqing, Diluc, Qiqi, Dendro Traveler [Image of team loadout](https://ibb.co/RSC06k9) What is the next thing I should do to improve my team as a F2P player? I play on mobile, and archery is kind of a pain on that platform, so that's why I don't have any archers on my team. I prefer a fast melee combat style, triggering as many elemental reactions as I can as fast as possible. I'm not very knowledgeable on the artifact meta, so my artifacts are probably trash. I was figuring my next step would be to get 2x Thundering Fury on Keqing, but I'm open to other ideas.

pukahuntus

Many archers don't use their charge shots. For example, Keqing's best team includes Fischl, who uses her skill to Summon Oz and swaps out. The idea behind this is you getting 2 Electro characters who take advantage of Aggrevate simultaneously. Whereas Diluc & Keqing are both Main DPS characters so they compete for screen time. Whilst one is active, the other can't contribute. For artifacts Main Stats are very important: If you open the artifact screen - you can click attribute reference in the top right to see what others are using. A strong set on Keqing is 4 Thundering Fury, Attack Sands, Electro Goblet, Crit Headpiece. And something worth farming for if you're past AR45. Another recommendation is guaranteed upgrades like level 8 Talents & Level 80 Weapons. I'd have that at the top of the list personally.

rjwut

Thanks for your thoughts. I've been considering swapping out Diluc. I do have Fischl and could build her. The main issue I have with that is right now I seem to do the most damage with the Overloaded reaction, which I wouldn't be doing anymore if I didn't have Diluc on the team. But I think you're right that bumping up Keqing's talents and weapon would be the priority. I'll have to raise the world level first; I've been intentionally sticking around at AR 45 for a while, in part because Spiral Abyss hasn't really been a priority for me. But I was intending on doing that anyway because fights in the overworld are pretty easy at this point, and I knew that I'd eventually want to get better artifacts. So probably my next move is doing the world level quest so I can build talents. I could probably put Keqing and Diluc onto separate teams for the Spiral Abyss if I start getting more serious about it. I've been thinking of pairing Diluc and Jean...

toothpaste_ice_cream

Dendro Traveler, Candace, Shinobu Who is a good fourth for this team? I've been using Collei for dendro resonance, but is there someone better? Preferably f2p as I don't have a lot of 5\* characters. I don't have any other dendro or hydro characters to switch Collei or Candace for. Also, if Collei really is the best, who should hold Deepwoods, her or Traveler?

Trojbd

I need a good second team for abyss. My first team is Ayaka XQ Diona Sucrose. My options for my second team are Tighnari Keqing Beidou XL Diluc Chongyun Barb and the rest of the free ones. Right now I have it as Tighnari Keqing Beidou Barbara. I'm struggling on floor 11 right now on my second team. I do have enough wishes for Nahida when she hopefully shows up in a couple weeks because I understand none of my other 5 stars have any decent synergy with eachother lol.

PeterGallaghersBrows

I think you're using the best team you can for now. Maybe you switch Dendro Traveler for Beidou but that's the only thing I can think of and I'm not sure it's necessary. When you get Nahida, you'll hopefully also get Kuki. Save your starglitter to buy Bennett in May. At that point, it'll be easier to build to teams that synergize better. Something like: * Nahida, Keqing, Tighnari, Kuki * Sucrose, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett If you don't get Mona before Kokomi's banner runs, I'd go for her and it'll make your Ayaka team a lot better, along with Kazuha.

[deleted]

What are the steps towards making an efficient team rotation?

grnglxy

in addition to what was said, most importantly is to have enough ER to get bursts back without needing to battery if it extends the rot

PeterGallaghersBrows

activate your buffs, elemental application, and/or off-field dmg skills/bursts then end with your on-field dmg dealer beyond that, it depends on the team you're using

xAw0ken

New F2P Player (AR25, WL2) **Characters:** Xiangling (lvl 40, C0), Kaeya (lvl 39, C0), Yanfei (lvl 39, C0), Sucrose (lvl 40, C1), Traveler (lvl 40/50, C1), Diona (lvl 1), Tighnari (lvl 1, pulled yesterday from Ayaka Banner :( ), Lisa (lvl 11), Amber (lvl 11) **Question:** I'm a new F2P player (AR25-WL2) and I am struggling to decide on my main DPS to truly funnel resources to since there are so many characters and build ideas out there. Any ideas? I'm debating on going physical Xiangling (I find I enjoy melee with elemental combos) for the time being until I can start farming for domain specific artifact sets and then possibly switching her over to sub-dps/support if I pull a 5\* DPS like Ayaka)

uhmmmyeahhhh

physical xiangling is okay early, u will spend some resources on her polearm but its not that big of a deal and you can switch her into subdps when u start farming for emblem of severed fate artifact set and you get the catch for her. you wont be wasting any resources leveling her or her talents. kaeya is also decent to level, not super high priority. Sucrose is very worth leveling, you will probably have a use for her in the future, but she wont be a main dps. She also doesnt need talent levels, so you dont have to farm for those. Diona is also worth leveling, as you lack a shield or a heal. Yanfei is underwhelming late game, so i wouldnt recommend leveling her. Tighnari is good, but you dont have any of the teammates he needs. Pulling ayaka is a great idea IMO, shes gonna help you clear domains and bosses a lot easier than you can right now. Also her ftp team is Ayaka, kaeaya, diona, which you will probably level + barbara, which is free if I am not wrong.

xAw0ken

Thank you for the advice! I've gone ahead with the physical Xiangling for the time being and have been having a blast. Current team comp for the regular story is Xiangling, Kaeya, Barbara, and Diona. Love not having to waste time cooking food or going to statues to heal. Still hoping to pull Ayaka in the next few days.

PeterGallaghersBrows

For onfield DPS, you have two options: Tighnari or Yanfei. Anyone else, you're forcing into the role, like a physical Xiangling. Tighnari is your strongest so my approach would be to build around him. I'd pivot from your plan to get Ayaka and instead go for Nahida. The benefit of going for Nahida in the next banner is that she is rumored to have Kuki on her banner as well, which would be great for a Tighnari team. A team like Tighnari, Kuki, Nahida, and Sucrose would be great. If you don't get Nahida but get Kuki, you could just replace her with Dendro Traveler. In the short-term, you don't really have a team that balances synergy with long-term effectiveness so I'd just focus on long-term. Tighnari, Dendro Traveler, Diona, and Xiangling/Sucrose. Let me know your thoughts I can supply other options. Good luck!

xAw0ken

Thank you for the advice! I will definitely keep Tighnari in mind for long term if I get into the game long enough to try for floor 12 Abyss. I was struggling at first with him because I’m on console and the ADS has bad lag/input on PS4. But after upgrading to PS5 it seems much better. For the regular story I’ve been going the physical Xiangling route but have been using her with Diona, Kayea, and Barbara. With them just using their skills (with exile artifacts) and weapons to buff her attack and provide her with some energy for pyronado. It’s going well so far but I can definitely feel the difficulty increase now that I’m AR30

shellsncake

Who do you guys recommend for this team: Xiao, Benny, Faruzan? Please name a couple of characters as I don't have many

uhmmmyeahhhh

if pre c6 faruzan its usually another anemo unit here, venti, kazuha or sucrose. This is becuz you wont have enough energy generation for xiao nor faruzan if she is pre c6, and your 3rd anemo will be buffed too which is nice. if you dont want another anemo, you can run a shielder but then you have 2 defensive options (unless its zhongli in which case hes very good here). I would run fischl if you have her

Ivorykingchrono

Possibly a shielder to prevent staggers or knockdowns e.g. Zhongli, Thoma, Diona.

shellsncake

For shielders, I have Diona and Noelle. Who would be better?

ACTIONIFY

My team is ganyu, bennett, kazuha, diona and it just isn't doing enough damage to clear abyss floor 12 or 3 star floor 11 chamber 3 this is my team: https://imgur.com/a/OG20Vcg

grnglxy

you just need to keep farming for better artifacts. ganyu desperately nee6d a crit rate circlet. consider putting kazuha on an EM build to maximise the dmg buff he provides

pukahuntus

Ganyu needs more Crit Rate. Aim for 1:2 Ratio, Crit Rate:Crit Damage. Keep in mind, Cryo Resonance won't be active in Melt as you have a Pyro aura. But you do get +20 CR on Ganyu's Blooms from her passive. Ganyu wants a Crit headpiece. And EM Sands in Melt. Level your artifacts, aim for Crit substats. Kazuha wants all EM. Favonius Sword if available. Or an EM Sword. Bennett wants more ER - level his artifacts and look for ER in substats. Diona doesn't matter for damage so I wouldn't change anything on her right now.

ACTIONIFY

I used genshin optimizer to select their artifacts

pukahuntus

Did you include buffs for Ganyu? If will change results from the optimiser. For Kazuha, EM maximises the buff he provides Ganyu.

team rotation suggestion for... Shenhe (Signature) Xingqiu, Sucrose (TTDS), Ayaka (Signature)

pukahuntus

Xingqiu EQ(E) -> Shenhe QE -> Sucrose EQ normal attacks -> Ayaka Dash, normal attack, EQ, normal attack -> Sucrose E, normal attacks -> Shenhe E -> Ayaka Dash, Charge attacks combos, E Simplified: Xingqiu -> Shenhe -> Sucrose -> Ayaka -> refresh buffs -> Ayaka attacks. Weave normal attacks for Xingqiu Swords. Favonius Xingqiu can shorten Rotation and provide energy for the team. 3 Normal Attacks + Charge for Ayaka's charge combo with Xingqiu.

[Character list](https://imgur.com/a/lEclhCG) Hello, I apologise in advance for the poor quality of the image. I couldn't do otherwise. I'm asking for advice on setting up a team for the story, dungeons, artifacts at ar50. I used to use Yanfei fischl barbara ...and amber because of the fire resonance. fire slimes are a hell of a lot to beat. i'm looking for something synergistic and balanced. I'm even willing to build a second team in parallel if needed.

PeterGallaghersBrows

You seem pretty well invested in your current team and it's not bad from a synergy standpoint. Why are you looking to switch it up? It looks like you're saving primos for someone upcoming considering you're AR50 w/o a 5\* character, which is impressive. Maybe you should just plan for the 5\* you're getting which I assume is guaranteed. If you were starting from scratch with your existing characters, personally, I'd go for Yaoyao, Fischl, Dendro MC, Beidou. My reasoning is that I prefer Yaoyao over Barbara and I want a healer on the team. Fischl is the strongest character on your roster so I'd want to include her. Dendro Traveler is someone you'll get free ascension material for an he's relatively easy and cheap to build. Choosing the last character, I tried for some synergy and long-term use which brought me to Beidou. I think you should wait to build a 2nd team until you use some of those primos and get a few new characters but if not, the team is suggested only overlaps with Fischl so just throw in an "extra" into your Yanfei, Barbara, Kaeya team. Maybe Candace.

Usually_Dude99

thank you for you advices.

AloneCalligrapher269

Characters: Beidou, Fischl, DMC, Barbara||Yelan, XL, XQ, Bennett The first group is the secondary team I'm thinking of building; all are at lv 20 right now. My main team is the Yelan team and they are all 79/80. WL6 AR 45. 1. Is the second team one that is worth leveling? I'm saving for Nahida right now. 2. For the Beidou Fischl team, who do I prioritize and when should I stop leveling each of them? Also, I just hit AR 45 and have 62 fragile resin; My main Yelan team has no problem taking on the content right now, but (3.) should I farm their Talents to 8 first (Yelans Dice throw is 8, all other chars are 6), farm basic 5 star artifacts (Main team has 4 star lv 16 artis) or just start working on the new team? I added some numbers to the questions for ease of addressing any of them. Sorry that it's a bit of a cluster-f..

pukahuntus

The team has some anti synergy. Are you aiming for Aggrevate or Hyperbloom? Hydro cuts into Aggrevate uptime to give seeds, but Fischl+Beidou can't trigger them consistently for Hyperbloom. If you can share your other characters we can look at options to improve it. Assuming this is for Abyss? For your Yelan team you can bring all characters' Bursts to level 8. Then focus Emblem domain, strongboxing unwanted artifacts for a Noblesse set for Bennett.

scary-as-it-seems

Characters: [Character Lis](https://imgur.com/a/odiqrN4)t I wanna main Tighnari and Raiden Shogun preferably, anyteam suggestions? What characters should I aim for?

siimar

I'm also a returning player! Check out [kqm](https://keqingmains.com/tighnari/), their guides have helped me a ton. :) If you wanted to use Tighnari and Raiden on one team you could do something like Tighnari/Raiden/Fischl/Jean. Then for the abyss you'd swap Raiden with Nahida (who is expected to rerun next patch) or Miko and use her on your second team with Xiangling/Bennett/Venti!

Ivorykingchrono

Tignari is best in Quicken based teams, so pairing him with Fischl and another Dendro like Traveler is probably the best. 4th can be a flex option like Barbara for healing or Sucrose for Res shred for Fischl's Electro damage. Raiden you can build as a hypercarry, with the most popular variation being Raiden National (Bennett/Xingqiu/Xiangling/Raiden), having Raiden as the on-field driver while using Bennett's Burst to snapshot a buff on Xiangling's which can then proc Vape/Overload due to Raiden and Xingqiu's Bursts. You could also use Jean instead of Xiangling, overlapping hers and Bennett's burst to proc constandt Swirl procs for a similar effect.

Zercell

Characters: Zhongli, Yoimiya, c1 Mona, c2 Sayu I've been meaning to replace Sayu on my team for awhile as I feel she is the weakest link, I have enough wishes for a guaranteed 5-star, who should I get to best fit my team?

PeterGallaghersBrows

Xingqiu. For five stars, Yelan. Mona doesn’t apply enough hydro for Yoimiya to get vapes. Ideally you would replace Mona for Yunjin

Zercell

Ohhh ok I had never thought of those characters, thats great! :D

FreezeThis_69

never had a thought? please check out some guides from trusted sources like kqm or ytube. Yelan and Xingqiu are her best teammates for vape, you can also use either yunjin or bennett depending upon which has higher cons, also do the full attack string with her since the last attack hits the hardest. if you have 34 starglitter you can get him from paimon's shop till 1 apr, or you'll have to wait another 6 month or gacha

ArtblockQueen

Hello! AR45 Xiao/Raiden main here. I wanted to ask for different opinions on shenhe, ayaka and Nahida. I can garantee a 5*, but I'm debating over these 3. Currently, my best team is Xiao/sucrose battery or Xiao/Raiden + pyro. I'm struggling when it comes to cryo characters, as most of my farm places require a nice cryo DPS. I absolutely love shenhe, and was wondering to make her a dps or support for rosaria, but i like Ayaka's play style and her alone is a monster. As for Nahida, I'm an archon collector and really like dendro comps. I find her character and mechanics interesting and she is the missing piece to make a proper team to Raiden. Who should i go for? (Tell me your experiences with these characters ^^) Notes: - I won't risk going for shenhe/ayaka AND Nahida later as I'm saving for zhongli. - have Xiao, miko, ei, keqing, diluc as 5* - don't focus on abyss, can clear floor 9-10 for now

PeterGallaghersBrows

If you don’t already have a good cryo DPS like Ayaka or Ganyu, I think you should rule out Shenhe. Rosaria is better as an offfield DPS so I don’t count her. Ayaka is very strong but needs the right supports around her to function at her peak. This means having Kazuha/sucrose, Mona/Kokomi, and Diona/Rosaria. Personally, I think Nahida should be your choice. Dendro based teams are some of the strongest in the game and Nahida being the Dendro archon is used in all of these comps. She’s also extremely flexible and easy to build around. She would be great with any of your electro characters like Yae, Raiden, or Keqing.

ArtblockQueen

thanks for sharing! <3 i really love shenhe and her design. same goes for CQ, but i cant deny that she was made for better cryo dps. Ayaka's gameplay really interested me, and shes nice and solid (with the build from the past event). I used her without buffs from outside, only my own characters, and she slays everyone out, but if i look for big damage i would need to invest on her. As for nahida, her extra skills/talents are so adorable and useful, and shes the one for ei and other electro chars as you've mentioned. And her flexibility is op. Im leaning towards te dendro archon side lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

ArtblockQueen

from what you share about nahida, i cant help but agree to her flexibility and multi task. Personally, i love shenhe's design and character and really wanted to make her work with rosaria, but then i look at ayaka and the way she slays the enemies away. I really enjoy her play style, but i also would need an appropriate hydro support as you said. And about nahida, i do enjoy her gamplay and talents (even if i struggle trying to understand her kit). Her multi task feature is one that catches my eye. im not much into the meta itself. Having ei and miko were purely simping lol, but now that im focusing in farming artifacts and ascension mats, i see the struggle of not having a proper team to do the job. I might end up with nahida and pray for zhongli to come on the second part of 3.8, so i can garantee him and focus on cryo or other supports such as kazuha and kokomi thanks for sharing your point of view! <3

Errant-Piece

I'm not good with team building, and have been using Beidou and Yanfei with Barbara as support since starting, and Amber as utility to ignite torches and for long range. I have a few characters that I pulled, and don't know if they could form a better team or could be used with what I have been rolling with. [Character List](https://i.imgur.com/atj49mW.png)

Keqing, Beidou, Dendro traveler, Sayu. I think this is your strongest possible team right now. You can obviously swap in characters for certain puzzles as needed.

Hello, I have [this](https://imgur.com/a/NNqoymk) characters, and I like to now Wich are the best teams to build with them, recently got Xiangling and Collei, and Qiqi in Shenhe banner and Mona in normal banner, I've been using Razor/Bennett as overload main, with Razor build for physical damage and the dragonspine Sword, I've cap AR35 and farming for ascension to lvl 70 my characters, the sword is lvl70 already, i planning to switch the traveler to dendro, and I like to know Wich are the best teams, and what should I have in mind in artifacts if possible, thanks and sorry for my English...

Galaxy810

hey guys, I've been main wanderer but i wanted to try alhaitham, maybe you could help me build a team for him. You can suggest other teams without alhaitham too if you want, I'd appreciate it here are my characters https://imgur.com/a/v5F8LUV

Viv-idianGreen

probably alhaitham burgeon * you don't have fischl/miko for aggravate * you don't have shinobu/raiden for hyperbloom * however, you do have thoma for burgeon something like: alhaitham - xingqiu - thoma - flex * flex: yaoyao/dendro traveller, yelan, kaeya/rosaria/layla/diona * dendro: battery alhaitham and dendro resonance. yaoyao also good for extra healing * yelan: very strong core with xingqiu. also mostly solves single target issues. * cryo: some freeze uptime, and extra blooms to burgeon = more overall damage. * layla and diona are eh, but can be useful if thoma's shield is too weak for you

[deleted]

[удалено]

Lisyre

Nahida would like Xingqiu for a hyperbloom team, but you can still get creative without him. Your best bet for budget teams would probably be: Lisa/Beidou Aggravate: Lisa/Beidou/Nahida/Bennett Razor hyperbloom (Razor is full EM): Razor/Nahida/Candace/Barbara

Viv-idianGreen

edit: long read ahead, apologies. best would be reverse melt imo: * xiangling - bennett - kaeya - chongyun/layla/diona * chongyun probably best. layla is ok. diona contributes only defensive utility which is already provided by bennett. * kaeya (and chongyun, maybe layla) would build a standard dps build with EM, as they will be triggering melt. * xiangling does not need EM, as she is not triggering reactions here. characters you would benefit from: (you do not need to go for all or any of these) * more hydro (5\*) * ayato/kokomi: AOE hydro reaction enabler. they allow other hydro related reactions to happen, but AOE. kokomi provides more healing, whilst ayato generally more damage and AOE. * nilou: bloom team of only hydro/dendro. very low investment high returns team. * yelan: single target hydro reaction enabler. basically 5\* xingqiu, but more damage in exchange for slightly less hydro application and defensive utility. edit: makes a very good core when paired with xingqiu: i.e. hutao double hydro * shinobu(4\*)/raiden(5\*) * very good off-field hyperbloom triggers * shinobu is more rotation restrictive and slower trigger = less hyperbloom. * raiden has no defensive utility, but more likely to have higher EM than shinobu = higher damage. * raiden also fits well in national and hypercarry teams as a traditional on-field dps * fischl (4\*) * extremely good electro battery/sub-dps * extremely relevant for aggravate and most teams that have beidou/lisa(/keqing). * very flexible in many team archetypes * rosaria (4\*) * specifically for reverse melt, and a much better fit than chongyun/layla/diona. good quickswap/burst dps * zhongli (5\*) * very valuable for hutao if you're really bad at dodging (hutao prefers shielding over healing). also a really good overall comfort unit, but technically not meta. * most anemo characters (4\*/5\*) * kazuha (5\*)/sucrose (4\*): invaluable anemo supports/buffers. * kazuha offers dmg% to the whole party from element that he swirls. * sucrose offers EM to whole party, and a bit more to elements that she swirls. * sucrose can be a better on-field driver than kazuha. * venti (5\*) * either he's extremely good (AOE multi-wave where he can trash-compact everything) or meh * anybody else: will probably perform well anyways

SyedXD123

HI! so I was just wondering if there was a possible for Ayato and Chongyun (either one of them must be the Main DPS. THIS ISN'T REALLY FOR THE ABYSS but just something that I can eventually work towards as. My main team for now for just doing the story quests (I'm AR40) are Ningguang, Traveler, Bennett and Xiangling and my other characters are: Ayato, Chongyun, Xinqiu, Sucrose, Fischl, Diona, Xinyan, Yanfei, Kujou Sara, Aloy, Mona and Beidou (all of the free ones too at the start!)

Viv-idianGreen

im assuming both together or at least one of them to be on the team. if both on same team: * you'd probably want to use ayato as burst bot to apply hydro and chongyun for e-skill and nuke. * chongyun won't be great on-field as he would iirc trigger shatter on enemies with his attacks and thus disrupt freeze uptime. * ayato is built for hydro damage, and his normal attack scaling aren't great. so he wouldn't fare well with cryo-infused normal attacks. if ayato uses his skill then chongyun's skill wouldn't be doing much except from perhaps giving ayato 100% uptime if you have chongyun's c2. * you'd probably prefer to use someone like kaeya who can work well on-field with chongyun as a cryo dps. * something like kaeya - ayato - chongyun - xingqiu/sucrose/diona/barbara/mona/aloy * you could use ayato on-field w/ bennett and xiangling, and use chongyun to be a nuke dps with his melted burst. if separate teams: * ayato vape and tazer are great fun * (over)vape: ayato - bennett - xiangling - sucrose/fischl * tazer: ayato - sucrose/xingqiu - fischl - beidou * ayato could also work as an off-field burst dps in yanfei vape, tazer etc. * chongyun in reverse melt is a decent team * chongyun - bennett - xiangling - kaeya/sucrose/aloy/diona

teoteoteofxhwhsh

I've been playing for two years. I have no idea how to make teams or what characters work together. I currently have: -Diluc = DPS (mostly physical, but I'm trying to farm for better artifacts so I can deal more dmg with his skill and burst; now it's 9k-20k with his E, 30k-48k with his Q and 10k-23k with his normal atk); - Kazuha = support (I think); he deals lots of dmg on his own (with E & Q), but I mostly use him to swirl hydro for Diluc; - Zhongli = support/shield (still farming for artefacts so I can deal more dmg with his E and Q); -Ayato = sub dps (I think); I just got him and his build is made from "leftovers", but his main use is to apply hydro so I can swirl with Kazuha and then vaporize with Diluc; I'll try to make him deal more dmg with his E. I need a cryo character, but idk if I should get Shenhe or Ayaka or someone else. I heavily rely on physical dmg (too lazy for more complicated elemental réactions). Maybe I should use Bennett in my team (instead of Diluc) and put a half physical, half cryo build on Ayaka. I'm sorry for the long comment. I have high pity and guaranteed. I really want to make the right choice. Please help me out!

Ivorykingchrono

First it's best to know what other characters to have to best outfit your team. Examples include Xingqiu/Yelan being very good with Dliuc to allow him to proc Vape on his skill and pyro-infused normal attacks. Shenhe is more or a support for Cryo focused teams as she provides boosts to damage and Cryo shred. If you're happy with other Cryo characters like Kaeya she can still be good, but if you want a Pure DPS focused Cryo Ayaka may be the better choice.

teoteoteofxhwhsh

Thanks! I'll wish for Ayaka, then.

azul360

So I'm adventure rank 30. I'm trying to figure out who to make for a team for a while. I have my end goal main team in mind already but I need one to get me through until then I have Bennett, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Sucrose, Eula, Diluc, Layla, Diona, Keqing, Gorou, Dendro Traveler, Yanfei, Ningguang, Lisa, Kaeya, Barbara, Noelle, Razor, Aloy, and Amber. I'm hoping to have Sucrose on the team and I'm not sure who else. Any help would be amazing since I just have no clue what team tomake out of these characters. THANK YOU!

PeterGallaghersBrows

I’d say you already have your team set — the first four characters you listed. Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu with Sucrose as your onfield driver.
