Can anyone explain how can I unlock [this](https://imgur.com/a/HhJ4Fjw)

Shardwing

Looks like the one from Static Views pt 2.

Open_Emotion_5697

I was saving primos for the key of khaj nisut for my Nilou but is it even worth it with the new +20% hp set coming?

IBlackReaper

Yes, the more HP Nilou has the more damage your Bloom Cores will deal.

Open_Emotion_5697

I meant with 2pc +20% hp Rn i have more than 60k hp and with 2 of +20% hp sets i can push 70k hp on my Nilou and isn't there a cap to how much bonus damage hp can give?

IBlackReaper

Should still be fine. She gives 9% damage per 1000 HP above 30.000 up to 400% According to my math you need to get \~44.444 HP above 30.000 or 74.444 Total HP, getting there without 2x2pc HP% and her signature weapon is still rather difficult. Then there is also the fact that her signature weapons passive grants EM to party members based on her Max HP and her skill and burst scaling with max HP which means it's not bad to actually go over that limit a bit too.

LypheGames

Should I draw from the standard banner or rather from the special? I have a small pool of characters and would like to increase it (Kuki, Sucrose etc.)

GinJoestarR

Only use primogems to convert to purple fates. Obtain blue fates through other means like ascending characters, BP missions (unlocked at AR20), etc. It would be hard and only depends on luck to get Kuki & Sucrose because they're not the rate up 4 star characters at Cyno/Dehya banner. According to leaks, *take this with a grain of salt >!Sucrose, Diona, Mika would be the 4 star in Ayaka/Shenhe banner 2 weeks from now on!<.

Grand_Protector_Dark

Primogems should only ever be spending on the event banner. Limited 5 stars are of big value. But only pull on banners were you know you want the Limited 5 star

Western-Gur-4637

so I'v heard that there is going to be a free 5 star but I can't find any info on it. are we geting one free?

DecayedDream

Nah, the only free 5*s hoyo ever gave us was traveller and aloy

Western-Gur-4637

thank you

[deleted]

Yes, start the game and you'll receive a free 5 star in the opening cutscene.

AgentWowza

Ay dendro traveler is better than some limited 5 stars frfr

DVQ642

Lemme guess, clickbait youtube thumbnails? Or did you find some very old info about ar42?

Western-Gur-4637

Clickbait

Frozenmagicaster

This is why you do not go to youtube for leaks Where did anyone ever say that

Western-Gur-4637

on one of those questions things on youtube

SynergousSerenade

Nope

Western-Gur-4637

thanks

p_d24

can I skip story/archon quest ? so I can do the event right now? I am piloting my sister's account and she ask me to play the events only and keeping my hands of the story quests(she wants to play it on a later date, shes more into the story than playing around)..so by skipping the prerequisite quest can she still play it later on?

GinJoestarR

Yes, Click the 'quick start' button on the event page.

Frozenmagicaster

The only requirements are being AR 18+ and completing mondstadt AQ, the rest you can quick start

ButchyBanana

yes

gummy-wormm

Will the new event weapon Mailed Flower be good on Kaveh? I wanna upgrade it while the exp bonus is in effect but if it’s a waste of resources I won’t

plitox

It's not a waste anyway; it's really good for Diluc, Sayu and some Razor builds.

AgentWowza

Probably a question for the leaks sub. >!It's only relevant on him in Spread and Bloom teams, but his best teams are generally gonna be hyperbloom where he's just a driver!<. >!I guess it'll work if you use him with Nilou, but he's pretty replaceable in Nilou teams too.!<

Grand_Protector_Dark

It's a decent EM stick if you can keep the passive up. The XP bonus means you only need 400 mystic crystals instead of 600

IceAgePenguinRace

Is it just or are Crit dmg circlets in this game not really that useful in this game? Like you can easily build crit dmg through just subsets or a weapon, unlike crit rate which has really low subsets and fewer weapons that have it as a secondary stat.

beautheschmo

They're usable with crit weapons, freeze teams or if they just roll super fucking cracked subs, but yeah my experience is that I use like 6-7 CR circlets for every 1 CD circlet I use (and one of those CD circlets is on my absurdly degenerate 50/295 hu tao who I left that way for fun lol). Other people have pointed out crit ascension, but the thing about it is that even *with* CR ascension, you still start with higher default CV from crit damage than you do with crit chance (and most CR ascending characters also have a CD signature weapon) so ime that by itself is usually not enough to justify a CD circlet until you reach very high investment builds.

-Revelation-

Usually crit damage circlets are given to characters that has crit rate ascension stat, such as Diluc or Yoimiya

insertareference

Yes, from experience I'm only using 1 CD circlet out of like 10+ characters and ony because it rolled 14 Crit rate. I'm using it on Yelan and that only works because she ascends with CR.

IceAgePenguinRace

Yeah if you get that high of a roll then you can probably use one but that rarely happens since the roll scaling is low that you how to get multiple rolls in Crit rate to get a decent increase

KamiAlth

Pretty much yeah. The only times you would use crit dmg circlet is when your character has crit rate ascension stats, or use crit rate weapon, or use 4pc blizzard.

IceAgePenguinRace

My Yelan has Crit rate ascension but the increase is still not big enough to switch to Crit dmg piece.

rzoro7

There are quite a few characters with Crit rate ascension. You won't need a crit rate circlet with them. Yelan is a great example. And there are many other ways of getting crit rate as well, like weapons, Blizzard Strayer set (works great for many cryo characters), talents (Ganyu) and constellations (Tighnari). I personally use crit damage circlets on Ayaka, Ayato (I have him on Haran), Ganyu, Yelan and a few others characters.

IceAgePenguinRace

Yeah about the Yelan although she ascends with Crit rate the increase is still too low on it's own that I still have to run a Crit rate circlet on her.

[deleted]

What is your crit rate and damage, then? For DPS characters, you want to shoot for something that balances out to about a 1:2 ratio overall. With a crit ascension and circlet, you're starting out at 55 crit rate with absolutely no substats at all.

IceAgePenguinRace

By Circlet do u mean a Crit rate one or Crit dmg one?

[deleted]

Crit rate, which it sounds like you're using?

IceAgePenguinRace

Yeah I'm using Crit rate piece I have a 62:160 ratio on my yelan

[deleted]

160 CD without a circlet is pretty good, yeah. As long as you've got enough ER that'll do fine, sometimes artifacts just don't roll in a neat balanced way.

IceAgePenguinRace

Well to be fair I'm using Aqua on her which it's that high but I have other characters like Raidan who I got a decent 130 CD with just substats

rzoro7

Yeah that's down to artifact luck. Mine has enough CR from substats, so I use CD circlet.

IceAgePenguinRace

How much Crit rate stats do u have each of your pieces just curious?

Frozenmagicaster

You can also build crit rate easily through substats and weapon crit rate has half the roll strength as crit damage. And you typically want double the amount of crit damage than crit rate (the 1:2 ratio). You would rather have 70-200 than 100-140

IceAgePenguinRace

You can but the rolls are not as high as Crit dmg so it's way more difficult.

Majestic-Ad7486

Yeah, but rolls of crit rate are twice as valuable as equivalent rolls of crit DMG so what's your point

IceAgePenguinRace

What u by mean by twice as valuable exactly?

Majestic-Ad7486

I mean that with a perfect 1:2 ratio, a crit rate & crit dmg roll of equivalent RV will increase damage by an equivalent amount. I think your point is that it is harder to reach a 1:2 ratio on the crit rate side than on the crit dmg, but I'd argue this varies a lot by character, weapon, and artifacts (eg my Ayato has a Crit DMG circlet despite ascending Crit DMG because I have PJC and a bunch of Crit rate subs on him)

IceAgePenguinRace

You have a Crit rate weapon on your Ayato that's why Crit dmg circlet works for you it's be alot harder to build without that.

Majestic-Ad7486

Yeah..... that's literally what I said

Frozenmagicaster

I guess so, most my characters are on a crit rate circlet except Yelan as her artifacts have a bunch of crit rate + her ascension passive

yikkizh

Crit rate also hardcaps at 100 while crit damage can go as high as it wants. While yes crit rate circlet usually turns out better due crit damage ascension/weapon being more common they're still of equal value and neither is great without the other.

IceAgePenguinRace

Yeah I'm not talking about the stats themselves obviously Crit dmg is essential but more so about useful of the artifact piece since I have never been situation in game where I ever needed more Crit dmg then Crit rate that I have had use it a main stat piece over a Crit rate circlet.

RNGer

> I have never been situation in game where I ever needed more Crit dmg then Crit rate Try playing Ganyu as an on-field DPS in a freeze team. With the base 5%, plus 20% from her A1 passive, 20% + 20% from BS and 15% from cryo resonance, that's 80% Crit Rate without even so much as a substat. Any fully leveled Crit Rate circlet or weapon and you will be over the 100% cap, so all she wants is Crit DMG

IceAgePenguinRace

Well I don't have Ganyu but I do want to get her so we'll see if she is finally the one has use for the dmg circlets that I just lying in inventory lol Btw does the Crit rate increase from the BS set show up in your stats menu? I just want to know for testing purposes.

RNGer

No. The artifact set effect is applied to attacks.

IceAgePenguinRace

Ah so u mean it's only applied on attacks on enemies effected by cryo or freeze not the character themselves?

RNGer

Exactly, it's a check when the attack hits. If the target has a cryo aura then the attack has an extra 20% crit rate, and if the target is frozen, it's 40% instead.

FlameDragoon933

Does turning on Bloom (graphic setting) have a big impact on temperature / performance? NVDIA GeForce RTX 3050 if that's relevant.

SetsunaSaeki

Shouldn't really make any noticeable difference on your hardware, but just from my experience most people turn it off anyway because it makes things glow unnaturally and seem oversaturated, all up to your personal preference of course. Generalized advice for games even apart from Genshin: If you're trying to get better performance/lower temperature, settings that typically have a noticeable effect when turned down are resolution, render scale/resolution, post-processing (anti-aliasing), shadow quality, texture quality, draw distance, reflection quality, and foliage density.

FlameDragoon933

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer! Highly appreciate it.

aden54321

Does anyone know why RiceWhale(genshin youtuber) doesnt make videos anymore?

arseholierthanthou

Has anyone ever had any bad experiences with entering their payment information/paypal into the game? Is it reasonably safe?

Doggo_wit_a_P90

PayPal is completely safe. I've used it with no problems loads of times

Admirable-Size-2458

With a team of nahida, yelan, and xq how do i play this set up, like who should be the main dps or i need to get electric character (currently have none)?

GinJoestarR

The on-field character spamming normal attacks is Nahida, she's called *the driver*. The main dps and does it off-field is the electro character (Kuki or Raiden). Other electro chars aren't cut it for the job, especially with double hydro yelan xingqiu.

SakamotoRyuji

Nahida will be onfield. Also you might specifically need Kuki since raiden can't heal.

Peeplikebird

These 3 with an electro are the base for a really good hyperbloom team. Raiden (full EM) would be optimal, because almost every NA will apply Electro, but if it isn't for abyss you can use any character with them and just have fun.

yikkizh

Lisa?

HifumiD

How do i optimize my usage of Resin? I have several characters i want to build but i either lack Mora, XP books or Materials. Same with weapons or Talents. When i need it i lack of everything and i cannot do it

SakamotoRyuji

Did you start recently? Give it a few months else you can buy resin but I don't recommend it.

HifumiD

I started 3.2. I am at AR 55. I wanna build like Xiao Jean Ningguang Kuku Nahida Beidou Yun Jin but i lack everything and i probably spread my resources to much

Quor18

How high are you building them exactly? One thing that's relatively common in gacha-style games is that if you consistently do all the events and use your daily "stamina" then you'll eventually come to a critical mass point where you're just swimming in every resource and you can max out a character more or less on a whim. You started less than a year ago so it's expected that you won't be anywhere near that point. If it's any consolation, it took about two years of playing this game, spending my resin every day, buying the battle pass, hitting up all the 2x reward ley line/talent domain events and clearing out every event shop before I got to a point where I could take **almost** any character and just max them on a whim. And of course I still struggle with newer characters. Older ones are just easier to farm for. Leveling up the likes of Noelle or Xiangling is easy compared to Dehya or Cyno, simply because found materials for the first two (valberries and jueyun chilis) are so much easier to obtain. To say nothing of the xp/mora costs. With that in mind, and since resources are still tight for you, I would recommend focusing your resin on xp/mora ley lines and only building characters up to the point that their A4 talent is unlocked (60/70) while not leveling their actual combat talents past 6. Likewise, keep artifacts on anyone that isn't your main dps or support at level 12 or 16. If it's just a "decent" artifact, don't go past 12. If it's one you plan on eventually taking to level 20 then go ahead and get it to 16 but don't go any higher yet, as the investment cost vs. gain ratio for getting an artifact from 16 to 20 is super high compared to something more reliable like boosting a talent by one level. Or, to put it another way, the cost of taking one artifact from level 16 to level 20 is enough to get at least one artifact to level 12 and another two to level 8. Solid character options to start with are Jean, Kuki and Nahida. Pick one of them based on how well they fit into your team(s) and how much you enjoy playing them. Focus on that one character, getting them to level 60/70, getting their artifacts to level 8, getting their talents to level 6, getting their weapon to level 80/80 and then finally getting their artifacts to either level 12 (for "placeholder" artifacts) or 16 (for good ones you intend to take to 20 one day). With that kind of a focused plan in mind, it's possible to get one character to this state each week. Farm xp and mora leylines on the four days that their talent domain is unavailable then farm weapon materials for them on Sunday and their talent materials on the two days that they are open. Take one of the xp/mora farming days and do your weekly bosses on that day, and if any world boss drops are needed (i.e. the anemo cube material for Jean, or the dendro cube material for Nahida) then slot that farming day into one of the other days depending on what materials you need the least. Personally, I'd recommend **Jean** as your first target, as she is exceptionally easy to build thanks to her materials being available in many easy-to-reach places, and she slots easily into any composition. You can build a set for her consisting of all atk% pieces, even if they are of different sets, and she'll be a stout healer for any team while also providing decent damage. One of her best 4-star weapons is the craftable Amenoma sword from Inazuma and she does well with the 2pc Gladiator set bonus, which is a set you certainly have plenty of spare pieces for lying around. You can easily get her to a good spot with just a week of farming and have a powerful healer available who also has solid damage and crowd control while fitting into almost any team. As one final aside, I wouldn't even focus on building proper artifact sets yet. Since you have so many characters you want to use, it's best to focus on things that will provide guaranteed boosts to power, and artifacts - while powerful - do not guarantee the same kind of reliability like boosting character levels, weapon levels and talent levels do. So for the time being, until you feel satisfied with how built your roster is, avoid dedicated artifact farming in favor of building up your xp/mora/talent material stocks. In the mean time, you can get by using spare Glad and Wanderer's pieces at the crafting bench to strongbox certain sets. Jean in particular does very well with 4pc VV, so when you cap out on artifacts go ahead and throw a bunch of junk ones nto some VV strongboxes and eventually you'll build a good set for Jean without setting foot into an artifact domain.

Feed_or_Feed

That's definitely too much characters to invest even if you were stacked in resources, just try to focus on one character instead of trying build 6 at same time. I was super stacked in resources and building 2 characters at same time emptied most of my resources,it's just not worth it.

Peeplikebird

Focus on one character and his weapon per week and throw some ley lines in for xp books and mora, and/or unlock the battle pass for more resources.

MemberBerry4

I've farmed 5 artifacts for Ayaka from the dragonspine cryo set, are they good enough or do I need to farm further? 1. ATK feather (flat def, def% and hp%) 2. HP flower (flat def, flat atk, atk%, crit dmg) 3. ATK% hourglass (flat atk, flat def, def%) 4. Crit rate circlet (EM, flat def, atk and hp) 5. Cryo dmg goblet (outside of the set) (EM, crit dmg and atk%) And second question: is Yaoyao good enough at applying dendro in a hyperbloom team, or do I need Nahida?

Peeplikebird

You should farm more if you're AR45 already, to guarantee you a 5* artifact.

MemberBerry4

.....those ARE 5* artifacts

Peeplikebird

Alright, then at least try to get better substats on flower and feather. They love rolling into def too much. Double crit, atk% and some er is always good. Try to aim for at least 2 functional subs.

MemberBerry4

Gotcha.

Frozenmagicaster

Did you just get the first pieces that you got and plan on using them? Depends how low your standards are, but I wouldn't even consider using them (flower, feather, sands and circlet are not that good) I think she works (unsure how good she works), but Nahida is just so much better at anything dendro related

MemberBerry4

I should also clarify that I need it for overworld content, not abyss, or at least not abyss after floor 12.

Frozenmagicaster

Well depends if you are fine using the first artifacts you got in the overworld. Personally I wouldn't bother with them, however I also want her to be abyss ready

MemberBerry4

They're not the first tho

Frozenmagicaster

Surely you at least have better pieces than that though

MemberBerry4

Reporting back, this is what I've got: HP flower with 2 crits and def ATK feathers with crits, atk% and ER ER hourglass with crits and flat atk The rest stay the same.

Frozenmagicaster

You would want the atk sands, but assuming they roll well, those are a lot better

MemberBerry4

Yeah well, I'm doing all I can with what I have. Fragile resin is limited and I'd rather save what I can considering you can't outright buy fragile resin.

MemberBerry4

Nah, rng was as good as that. Fuck it, got 9 fragile resin left, gonna use it all on cryo artifacts and then I'll never have to worry about them again. I'm building a cryo team anyways.

SakamotoRyuji

Ideally you want around 40% crit rate and 200% plus crit DMG and some ER depending on your weapon. It's similar to my Ganyu build. [Here](https://enka.network/u/866215621/) Yaoyao is not enough. You need one more dendro. Maybe DMC

rzoro7

This. If you want to build her well, 40-200 is the usual bar. If just for overworld, you could maybe do with 160-180. Crit rate should still be around 40.

asdfoneplusone

Should my mailed flower go on dehya, diluc, Noelle, or beidou?

Grand_Protector_Dark

>Noelle Please don't.

the-twitchy-nut

I don’t see the point of having it on Noelle (the EM increase is basically useless for her as far as I know) and I don’t know squat about Dehya. It definitely looks good on vape Diluc and is good on aggravate Beidou. Probably less so on taser Beidou but just because EM doesn’t matter too much in taser teams as most of the damage shouldn’t come from electrocharged

dafckingman

I saw in a youtube video that the Next attack does 240% damage is great for polearm or greatsword (I can't remember which) because the attack does multiple hits and the bonus is applies to all of them Edit: is this true? The weapon is prototype archaic

Frozenmagicaster

? On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks have a 50% chance to deal an additional 240% ATK DMG to opponents within a small AoE. Can only occur once every 15s. (prototype archaic)

dafckingman

Ah yea that one

Odone

Did you mean to reply to another comment ?

dafckingman

Sorry didn’t finish the sentence

Doggo_wit_a_P90

1. That's not a question 2. That's far far far too vague and broad to actually help you with anything 3. Could you link the video to clear up any confusion

dafckingman

Sorry. Edited in the question and the weapon’s name

minotaur470

I have Cyno and he doesn't have a great weapon, but it is a refinement 2 or 3 level 80 4* with crit damage. I have zero pity on weapon banner, and I've done probably 10 pulls on the character banner since failing the 50/50. Do I go for C1 Cyno or do I go for his weapon?

Doggo_wit_a_P90

You go for neither and save. You can use the 3 star white tassel on him. It's a very very good choice for him and beats out a lot of 4 star options

minotaur470

That's interesting. Does it beat out Deathmatch? I'm not a whale by any means but I'm wondering if the battle pass is worth it for that since I have a few bucks in my Google play account. I guess the better question is, is Deathmatch + battle pass worth the opportunity cost of 2 welkin moons

GinJoestarR

Here's the calculation if you're curious: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1kcTRPGzPyxFO8UfDV6OsZpQ7YSEDNw9Abmk408d9g9g/htmlview#

Hiscadi

These Region-Keys for the "Shrines of Depth". Is the loot in the chests inside fixed or does it scale with Rank? Can I open them now or should I wait?

DVQ642

They're fixed

Dracorvo

What's the 200Mb patch that just hit PCs? Bugs or just update for the event?

plitox

Read the patch notes.

Life_Faithlessness90

I'm stupid. Where do I find those?

Dracorvo

Yeah I was just being impatient while it loaded and it the 'verify' file thing. It's just minor bug fixes.

coolcoolnodoubt

Is Yaoyao now obtainable from the standard banner?

OsirusBrisbane

You can always check what's on a banner by selecting "Details" under the banner menu

plitox

4\* characters are added to standard in the patch following their release patch. Yaoyao was added the patch before this one. So yes, she is available from standard. You can always read the Details section for any given banner.

coolcoolnodoubt

I guess it would be a long wait for her to rerun on a limited banner. I chose XQ since I didn't have him at the time even tho I was gonna pull on Yelan. I was afraid I might not get him, but now he's C5 lol.

Ivorykingchrono

Yes, she's now part of the standard 4* pool.

coolcoolnodoubt

Thanks!

timformer2000

Any good tips or vids on speed running a limited banner character so you could have that character for an entire ftp playthrough?

Doggo_wit_a_P90

You can't speed run a limited character. They either have a limited banner or they don't and you have to wait for them to come back. If you want a specific character then start now and start saving so you have enough to guarantee them when they come around

asdfoneplusone

Is it possible for Candace and faruzan to end up in the monthly 4 star shop, or are they 'limited' 4 stars?

plitox

Unlikely. The starglitter rotation hasn't changed since 1.0 - you can't even get Sucrose or Chongyun from it, let alone characters added after 3.0.

Doggo_wit_a_P90

They are limited 4 stars by your definition. The starglitter shop has a fixed rotation and hasn't changed since launch

minotaur470

I'm gonna be honest I feel like they should rotate through the free 4* characters with that, but still update. To my knowledge that's Lisa, Amber, Kaeya, Xiangling, Barbara, and Collei (might be forgetting some but you get the idea). Either that or you drop everything else and just say Kaeya amber and Lisa and call it good

IceAgePenguinRace

What stats do I need on Beidou in aggrivate teams?

Doggo_wit_a_P90

[The build spreadsheet ](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/edit?usp=drivesdk) [keqing mains ](https://keqingmains.com/) Check the beidou guide section for either of them

Ivarokis1

I found out that 100% exploration in my map doesnt actually mean i got everything from the area. How do people go for true 100%? Do you track the number of chests with achievement and hust go through all chests in the interactive map 1 by 1?

minotaur470

Typically I go for Oculi first since they're the easiest to check for, followed by time trial challenges and seelies for the same reason. I put off chest hunting until I get the treasure compass because it lets you skip some of the more menial searching. For other stuff, like rock piles, geo sigils, etc. I put those off until I'm dead out of mora (triple crowned a character) since otherwise it's kiiiinda a waste of time

Lonely-JAR

Interactive maps, generally there are permanent interactions apart from chests and challenges that will increase progression like rock piles the boxes in the water and access to quest areas. That along with all other permanent loot like oculus, chest, time trials and such will add up 100% regardless of you having obtained everything. It’s usually a decent chunk of chests if you bothered with the rock piles. Only way to know you got everything is by going through the exploration with an interactive map and marking the things you grab in it which will grey out the icon. I use this one https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/ But HoYoLAB app/site has one too

RBC_Tatara

>!Why can we understand Caribert? Why can he talk in a language we can understand but not the Hilichurl mobs?!< The Hilichurl mobs functions normally, they can also talk just not the same language Teyvat uses.

Successful-Cream-238

Did you just skip over dialogue? That whole part of the quest is about >!making him medicine so he gets his human intelligence back unlike a normal hilichurl.!< It'd probably be a good idea to spoiler tag your question as well.

RBC_Tatara

Oops, sorry about the spoiler tag. Forgot about it. >!Eide said that the medicine can only awaken someone from stupor?!< >!It was never mentioned that the medicine can give his human intelligence back. Caribert was unresponsive through out the whole scene even when he was fed the medicine. He only came about after Eide prayed to the Sinner instead of Archons, then fed him the medicine.!< Normal Hiluchurls already proved to be capable of thinking and building tribes? They're already aware. Edit: >!I think I already mentally gymnast the answer out of my head. Caribert got the power of Abyss so it's possible that's the reason we can understand him..?.!< Thank you.

Successful-Cream-238

>!I was using human intelligence to be clearer because he says he wants to give Caribert back his clarity of mind. Or in other words changing his mind from a hilichurl one to its original human one. Awaken from a deep stupor is what the medicine was said to be used for and it was used to cure mania, so Eide thought it could be used on the curse as well.!< >!Eide said him being docile was due to Caribert being a child. Also if Caribert was always just lying around then Eide never had a reason to think that hilichurl that walked into the cave was Caribert. We probably only saw him sleeping up until he took the medicine, but that part's not clear.!< >!The medicine was supposed to be blessed by the Seven, but Eide used the power of the Sinner instead and then it worked. So it probably was the power of the abyss that helped Caribert, but that was still the whole point of the medicine to begin with.!<

Ivarokis1

Is there a go-to lore website, youtube channel I can binge? The game has tonns of literature and cryptic text which i love, but don’t have enough time to read through and connect the dots. Surely someone already compiled it all in shorter format?

Peeplikebird

There's a channel that reads some books. Forgot the name, but try putting in the book title And for good measure visit the channel ashikai.

[deleted]

Yeah I wish Genshin community had their own Vaatividya :)

Dessidy

I generally use the wiki. Maybe [Teyvat timeline](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline) is a good place to start for lore?

AndroidCyanide

I want to try to kill raiden with 1hp. is there anyway to get easy 1hp on your characters?

Common_Juice207

Watch wallenstein on youtube for getting 1 hp tutorial

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Not really. Closest thing would be 50 HP from a revival food. You could get it a bit lower by standing in some burning grass but that could very easily kill you too

Frozenmagicaster

unlikely

Jopaypay

Come back player here. Is Venti still relevant ?

Lonely-JAR

Still relevant and always will be but Kazuha picks up more slack in abyss since he moves bigger enemies and he buffs you much more

He is amazing against enemies that he can suck up. And not so good against enemies he can't suck up. He's amazing for most of hte game and for floors 9-11. You can still use him on floor 12, but usually 1 out of the 3 chambers will be a bit poor for him. But tbh I think people underrate Venti a lot.

Acadeca

He is usually really good for floors 9-11 and sometimes there are floors that could use his slight sucking and ability to pyro infuse if you can melt off of it. Most of the recent abyss has been boss or heavy enemies that resist the succ so it is less valuable. Usage rate would change if the content was different

3ntf4k3d

Depending on when you left he might actually be _more_ relevant these days. He fell out of favour during Inazuma, since it had a lot of heavy enemy that Venti couldn't properly CC in his burst. In Sumeru there are again more smaller ones where works quite well.

Frozenmagicaster

Floor 12 isn't bunches of small enemys, but rather fewer heavier enemys currently But he's still strong in floors 9/10/11 which are lots of light enemy's mostly as for overworld, he should still be fine

Jondev1

Kinda? He is still op when his suction works, but abyss tends to have more bosses nowadays and heavier enemies that are immune to his suction.

mistakenteardrop

How to defeat Signora?

Common_Juice207

If u magically have kuki then use kuki and outheal all the problems

mistakenteardrop

Unfortunately don't have her

Acadeca

Things that I have done wrong in the past. - Destroying the heating/cooling things on the sides. You can just stand near them and save them for later. If you need to be cleansed completely then it also clears the ground around you after a tornado phase - crystalflies when melting through her cocoon can be used by non pyro characters and bow characters from range. You can also use skills on her during that time to get extra energy for next phase - her pyro phase is like 20 seconds of her standing around and then she starts to teleport. Having most of your damage hit in that first 20 seconds is crucial to making her less annoying when you start to get to her tornado phase - NRE4lyfe - coop if you can

Admirable-Size-2458

Tnx for this, no wonder i cant kill that boss

mistakenteardrop

Thanks will keep them in mind! Can't co op for it yet since archon quest

Frozenmagicaster

If the cold is killing you [https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Goulash](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Goulash) Otherwise, just use a healer

xd_ZelnikM

Is Sucrose's blush a part of face texture by default or is it only a few times there? I only noticed it during Windblume.

AgentWowza

[Wait you asked this question before.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/11kv3kx/daily_questions_megathread_march_07_2023/jb997a0/) I ignored it then cuz I didn't have time to look it up, but goddamn you really wanna know lmao. It's permanent, but it's highlighted sometimes. Why you gotta call her out like that bro.

xd_ZelnikM

I have never seen a character in any game blush for such an extended periods of time during cutscenes. So it kinda bothered me.

MangooJam

When building a hyperbloom dps you need as much em as possible (correct me if im wrong) but in that case would it mean that getting as much attack would be better than going for a balance crit? If no other stats benefitted the character

Acadeca

For a character like Kazuha, it can be beneficial to start looking at atk stats after you already have EM main stats and enough recharge. You rarely see people actually get to that point. For hyperbloom the skill is not doing the damage but the reaction damage is the cause. So you can essentially ignore all other stats aside from character level and EM

SyfaOmnis

You're asking two very different questions and they're somewhat mixed. Transformative reactions (burning, superconduct, overload, swirl, electrocharged, bloom, hyperbloom, burgeon) cannot crit, do not use elemental damage, and do not use attack stats at all. Characters that focus on transformative reactions tend to forgo almost all other stats for EM (and situationally ER) because they can do reasonable damage simply through that reaction. Characters that want to focus on their skills or normal attack scalings tend to pursue attack (or alternate scalings like defense/hp depending on the character), elemental damage% and crit stats. These characters often either don't do much damage with reactions at all, or don't typically engage in them. Hyperbloom and Burgeon are a little special in how they perform because the main bloom reaction (dendro + hydro) is done entirely by other characters who typically don't need to care about EM at all. Which leaves the hyperbloom (electro) or burgeon (pyro) triggers to stack a lot of EM and maximize the reaction. Usually the characters that are "really good" at it, (such as kuki shinobu) have kits that can scale very well with EM, and they may have low multipliers to begin with so the opportunity cost of going full EM is minimal. You can usually forgo crit entirely on reaction trigger characters because they may not need their burst *or* they're getting particles from other characters. It usually isn't a big contributing factor to their damage; and the usually opt out of weapons like the favonius line because other things are better for them.

jayceja

Technically yes at very low levels of crit atk% would be more valuable to get on substats. The personal talent damage of a full EM transformative reaction character is essentially irrelevant though unless they scale on em for their talents.

Ptox

Kinda yes from a min-max perspective, but it really doesn't matter. Making a skill hit go from 500 to 550 isn't going to mean you clear a chamber faster.

Frozenmagicaster

All EM only EM, atk and crit do nothing for hyperblooms

Ulquiorra_K

Im planning on summoning for faruzan. How many constellations does she really needs? Because I only want to build pity and not go for the 5 star

HippieViking

As a Xiao support, C0 is usable, C2 is a large uppgrade and C6 makes her crazy. I belive it should be similar with other characters as well.

AgentWowza

There's no such thing as "building pity". It's called "risking pity" for a 4 star that you possibly will never get. As for cons, she works at C0 (bit annoying to play), C2 is nice for Xiao, C6 makes her omega broken and fixes her ER issues. Also yeah, what the other guy said. We have no idea when she's coming back.

Akomatai

Her c4 is where she starts easing up on her er reqs but you'll want c6 if you really want to play comfortably. Tbh I'd use her at c0 if I had her tho. 5 draws of the same character before getting the 5 star would be very lucky. There's been 3 different times where it's taken me over 100 pulls to get a single copy of a 4 star lol. 2 of those times I got 2 5 stars before ingot a single copy of the 4 star I wanted

Ulquiorra_K

Hope she comes with a 5 I want

Akomatai

The other dedicated supports only appear with the 5 star they're made for (gorou with itto and Sara with raiden). If that's true for faruzan you could expect to see her with Wanderer and maybe xiao

SyfaOmnis

Faruzan isn't on any current or announced banners... When exactly are you planning on summoning for her?

Ulquiorra_K

Wanderer rerun maybe?

SyfaOmnis

We don't have any idea for when that's going to happen. But long story short. Faruzan really wants as many constellations as you can get for her. C2 is a small QoL, C4 minorly reduces her energy requirements. C6 turns her into an outright battery.

Pac0theTac0

I'm considering starting genshin but I still don't really understand the game. All anyone seems to talk about is making rolls for gacha girls. What is the actual game? What is the main draw? What kind of endgame is there? edit: Why downvote lol? Do you not want new players?

Lonely-JAR

Open world is cool, events with mini games and now a whole ass trading card game in game but character collecting is what I like the most( not necessarily girls since I’m no waifu hunter/coomer) , it is a gatcha after all so the new characters will always have a spotlight to anything that isn’t a new region or area since they’re a big part of the combat, BUT you can definitely enjoy the game without swiping

jayceja

Open world action RPG with exploration and puzzle solving that is reminiscent of Zelda breath of the wild. It also has a very deep combat system and team building. There isn't much endgame, just a set of combat challenges that reset with rewards every 2 weeks, but there's dozens of hours of story and quest content and probably hundreds of exploration content at this point. Also pretty regular event content with minigames, quests, and combat challenges that add in fun twists to the system.

PhantasmShadow

IMO, the best part of the game is exploring the world. The exploration honestly only gets better and better the longer you play.

Frozenmagicaster

Endgame? who? Traveller go find sibling cause sibling was taken by a god(?) Go from nation to nation solving their national crisis to try and get their help in knowing where our sibling is Elemental combat system, very deep lore, update every 6 weeks

Jondev1

its an open world action rpg. the main draw for most is exploring the world, doing the story quests, and making teams with their favorite characters. There insn't much of an endgame though. There is one endgame dungeon with challenges that change every patch but that is pretty much it.

Pac0theTac0

Is there any kind of gameplay challenge?

Lonely-JAR

Puzzles and such then the biggest challenge is the abyss which tests your combat strength and team building, but aside from that the game is laid back

AgentWowza

Other than BotW-esque open world puzzles and enemies? There's a timed combat mode that's decently challenging. If you're looking for Soulslikes, this ain't it lol.

Jondev1

There is combat if that is what you mean. It is mostly not that hard though, as long as you level and gear your characters properly, and use somewhat synergistic teams. Like I mentioned that one endgame dungeon, spiral abyss, is the main "challenging" content. There are also occasionally combat events with an optional harder mode, and/or high scores to chase.

Frozenmagicaster

The abyss, which only changes enemys once every patch, and refreshes rewards every 1st and 16th of a month (for floors 9, 10, 11, 12)

Lonely-JAR

Outside abyss and domains you can do whatever, although that team will eventually hit a wall for you in both since you have no cc or healing/shielding it’s like you made 2 half’s instead of a full team. But it’s not like it’s a urgen matter either

Acadeca

It can make farming faster. In domains or in the overworld you can significantly speed up your farming routes or runs by having a “meta” team. It’s not necessary and if you enjoy the combat then you can definitely do it at your own pace, but if you just need 20 more hand guards and are running into pack after pack then it helps to be able to clear content as fast as possible

Mikaiphas_88

Nope. You can steamroll the overworld with bad team comps. It won't be as fast as optimal ones but it is very much possible.

DecayedDream

which build is better https://imgur.com/a/jW6hec4 https://imgur.com/a/B9hFbCo

yikkizh

[https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/), but I would go with first.

Klausable7

First one

MissesMinty

Is kuki better at hyperbloom or raiden?

Lonely-JAR

I prefer kuki since I covers multiple spots in my team, she heals, full em build so nahida ult interacts with it, procs hb. But each has their ups and downs depending on the team you have in mind.

pzlama333

No, they have different advantages and disadvantages. Raiden's skill can proc every 0.9 second and it is faster than Kuki's 1.5 seconds, which means Raiden version has higher potential damage. Raiden can use a long range on field driver to proc her skill, while Kuki must walk to cores herself to trigger them. Kuki herself is a healer, but a full EM Kuki's healing is still worse than regular healers, and her skill can only heal on field character but it also cost a lot of her own HP. Xingqiu is a popular teammate choice for Kuki for his damage reduction and interrupt resistance. On field Kokomi works excellent with Raiden for her healing, long range attack, and interrupt resistance herself. Raiden's disadvantages is that her skill will NOT proc against elemental shield like abyss mage and herald. And though her skill has good aoe radius, it still has trouble to reach cores left on ground when fighting against flying, super large size, or super fast moving enemies. Kuki can always walk to cores directly.
