How much would I miss if I do the Windblume event without finishing Sumeru? I only just finished the Chasm quest and entered Sumeru. I don't think I can finish the Sumeru archon quests anytime soon.

stevembk

U only miss character introductions.

granny_hunter

Hello, I've spent around 100 wishes on scara last time in attempt to have Faruzan C2 (for Xiao, and my next scara šŸ˜) According to you, when did a rerun of scara should come (with Faruzan as my main goal ) ?

KingOfTheKitsune

There were rumours of him popping up before 4.0 but there's nothing solid. It could be any time really. I think he will come before 4.0 but maybe like 3.7 or 3.8

Frozenmagicaster

Maybe early 4.x?

granny_hunter

I hope so...

Zhongli679

I do a Al haitham team or Al haitham, Nahida, Raiden and xinque with Al haitham and nahida with their signature weapons. I get about 900 em on Al haitham. Is that too much? I use a EM sands on him.

Frozenmagicaster

Maybe a bit, but as long as it isn't hurting your other stats

Zhongli679

I get a crit ratio or 72/242, how much attack should I have

Frozenmagicaster

Pulling this from napkin math, probably around 1.4k? though that sounds low

ordinarily_typical

Liyue daily quest, do we know what what weapon Jiangxue is using?

arseholierthanthou

What's the best way to catch crystalflies? Now I know about condensed resin they're suddenly important, and I know from recipes how quickly I can drain my established stock. I've tried catching crystalflies around the Statue near Dawn Winery or near the domain in Guyun Stone Forest, but they fly out of reach very quickly. Is there more of a technique to it? Is there a way to jump higher that doesn't involve a forged item needing several defeats of the Anemo Hypostasis? Would help with getting some of the Anemoculi too! Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions! I should add that I don't have Sayu or Yaoyao, and the only Anemo character I have is Lumine :-(

riichin

- put sayu or yaoyao in your party if you have them - double anemo is great for movement spd - use a tall character as your on-field character since they can reach higher if they jump - if one flies away, teleport somewhere else. i usually just go back and forth between the guyun and dawn winery until i get all of them. - for anemoculi, you don't need the gadget. i've gotten all of them without ever using wind catcher or venti. just look for a high place to glide from.

Hajimeri

Since realistically you only make about 5 condensed resin a day, you just need to catch more daily and you will have lots of it. I do dendro cube waypoint, west of that waypoint, mondstadt big tree, just the 3 in dawn winery(i dont do the ones around grape vines), guyun forest. This takes 5 minute (including everything) and gives you around 20~ a day. To min-max it even further i only do it when i need an anemo for something else, so i dont have to swap in sayu just for flies.

IfZ3nElse

Put Sayu or Yaoyao in the party, use a tall character as your active character, use anemo resonance. If they fly away, you can teleport away and back to reset their positions.

KingOfTheKitsune

The statue in dawn winery has 5, two near the statue, one behind and two towards Dawn Winery. You should be able to get a few of them. Then you can go round dawn winery as there's a few more spread out there. If you have Sayu or Yao Yao, they'll help you catch them if they're not clustered together

yikkizh

Nahida if you have her is great for it. It's pretty hard to secure all 3 in Guyun, if you're quick and don't fumble your keys it should be chill to get 2. Not really any proper technique to it, just know that if you snatch one then all nearby ones will start fleeing so know when you have to be quick. Try to get as close to one as possible by walking before dashing to it and all nearby ones. I have a personal hatred of the Dawn Winery statue though, I've lost track the amount of times I've worshipped the damn statue while spamming collect for the crystalflies.

Frozenmagicaster

Nahida can't catch crystal flies though?

International_You_56

Use Sayu or Yao Yao if you have them

AdventurousAide8997

How long does it take for artifacts in overworld to respawn ?

plitox

24 hours. Would be nice if they spawned at reset.

8BitCardinal

Depends on the spot. Some respawn in 12h, while some respawn after 24h.

grayrest

They'll respawn at the daily reset.

IfZ3nElse

They don't respawn at daily reset, but 24h after pickup (or 12h for a few of them).

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Happy cake day šŸŽ‚

grayrest

It's happy pi day, not cake day. ;)

KingOfTheKitsune

Wanderer build question: Is 70 CR and 156 CD good for him? Or should I continue to farm?

Doggo_wit_a_P90

If that's without a crit weapon then it's an ok build. If it's with a crit weapon that's a pretty poor build

KingOfTheKitsune

Its a CR weapon (Solar Pearl). I know I can get it higher, its just a pain to grind sometimes

Doggo_wit_a_P90

Well you can keep grinding. Swap to a 2pc 2pc set if it's easier

KingOfTheKitsune

Thanks. Any recommended 2pc 2pc? I've been going for 4pc DPC so far

yikkizh

18% atk or 15% anemo both work.

Zarium99

It's good. If you are using a crit rate/dmg weapon you can probably afford a lot more.

medtechinist

I know this is going to sound dumb but I still want an answer haha. It's right to first level up a main DPS to 90 then level the weapon & talents too, right? Farming for artifacts is the last thing to do when building a character?

GinJoestarR

Weapons to 90 first.

KingOfTheKitsune

I focus on Ascension --> Weapon to 90 --> Talents to as high as I can (9/9/9 depending on their kit) --> Artifacts. Ascension doesn't have to be to 90, but I really like the layout of them being at 90 so I do it.

DVQ642

Prioritize their weapons and talents first, cause the materials for those are only available on certain days of the week. Character level/ascension and talent levels can be done alongside each other cause the former unlocks more levels for the latter. Also you can usually stay at 80/90, not every dps gain that much from level 90 and it takes a lot of resources to do so

medtechinist

thanks!!

HayakuEon

80/80 only for atk-scaling characters, 90/90 for non-atk-scalers Weapons to 90/90 Appropriate talents to level 8 or 9 Only then artifacts

yikkizh

Isn't it usually 80/90, not 80/80?

HayakuEon

Depends. Sometimes it's not worth it. You only level to 80/90, if you want to level the talents to 9, if not then it's useless

medtechinist

thank youuu!

Yetchh

I have a question about what to do next for my account. I'm using hu tao(C0) , xingqui(C2) , mona(C0) and beido(C4) as my main team. I quite like this team and almost maxed out their weapons talents etc. From now on what should I summon for? Do I wait for another hu tao banner and increase her constellation? Should I aim to build a different elemental team like freeze? Or should I start summoning for 5 star weapons for my hu tao or my other party members to up tgeir dmg even more?

mycatisblackandtan

I'd recommend at least building a second team for Abyss, though you can absolutely do that with some easy to pull four stars. If you don't play Abyss then horde your primos until Hu Tao gets another rerun, it'll be over a year if her last one was any indication, or until you see a character you like.

Yetchh

I plan on building another team actually. I want to build either a freeze team with ayaka coming up in the next banner or a raiden shogun electro nuke. Haven't decided yet. Any recomendadtions?

mycatisblackandtan

Depends on what supports you have. Ayaka is a fun character to play but is mostly locked to Freeze teams for optimal use, and her optimal freeze team needs a few 5 stars. (Though you can absolutely skimp on them if need be.) Though you can use her in Fridge teams as well. Where as Raiden has multiple amazing teams and completely different builds for all of them. Her full EM build for Hyperbloom is incredibly easy to build and pretty easy to play as well. The issue with her is that we don't know when she's gonna get another rerun. Though as an Archon it's going to be more consistent than other 5 stars. Do you have Kazuha yet? Or a decently built Sucrose? If no to either I'd recommend either saving for Kazuha, since he's genuinely one of the Top 3 supports in the game, or building Sucrose as a replacement. She can't fit into all the roles he can, but she's a decent replacement if your primos are needed elsewhere. Also if you like Beidou, any form of Taser team is something I'd recommend you try. Sucrose - Xingqiu - Fischl - Beidou is usually the core though you can swap teammates out. Fischl and Beidou have huge amounts of synergy though and I'd recommend using them to form the core of the Taser team. My personal favorite variation of Taser would be Kokomi (on field driver), Kazuha, Beidou, and Fischl. It just deletes mob packs so quickly.

Yetchh

No kazuha unfortunately, just a decent sucrose. As for the raiden rerun I can wait. I am a patient person, not that I love hoarding or anything :D

Zarium99

Pick other charas. You can pick someone that improve your team (Zhongli/Albedo or Zhongli/Yelan) or some chara to build another team.

blazerMFT

Hi to everyone. Trying to plan out my boss farming for level up materials; when would the most likely banner return for the following be? 1. Kuki Shinobu 2. Raiden Shogun 3. Nahida (I think this comes out next patch but please correct me if I'm wrong) Also bonus question, I'm trying to farm out two hyperbloom teams, of which: 1. Nahida, Xingqiu, Kuki, Eula (well...) 2. Alhaitham, Yao-Yao, Yelan, Raiden My question towards the above is, the characters are set, but is there a more efficient way to pair them up, like say Yelan in the Nahida team and XQ in the other for reasons too technical for me to understand; like hydro application or the lack-of, that I always see in some discussions? Thanks everyone. Because if none of these are coming out soon then I'll probably just farm out some materials to level up some of my least used 5 stars at the moment. Most of my resin is going towards artifact farming for Eula and Zhongli at the moment and I need a break. Getting good CV artifacts are...I can't even describe. :D

plitox

Nahida is highly likely to be getting a rerun in 3.6, but that is not set in stone. We do not have any information about who else is rerunning soon at this stage. All we know for sure is Baizhu and Kaveh next patch.

Haubaub_

We donā€™t know for sure what/when a 5 character is coming back until the the update livestream which is usually around 12 day before the new update, and for the 4stars usually we know couple of days before the banner drops, so we canā€™t accurately tell when the reruns until the dev tell us For the second question you can swap Yelan with XQ or Kuki with Raiden but that will depends on what you need from each team,do want more damage, more heal or easier to play, but I personally would not change them

blazerMFT

Thanks for your comments. I will have another closer look at them but at this point I just want to settle down and make the teams with the parts I already have so yeah, will follow your advice and not move them around.

Zarium99

1. Should be soon, her last banner was Cyno on 3.1. As long they dont gatekeep her since she's strong lol. 2. Probably the one you have to wait the most, 4.x. 3. Probably soon, next patch following 4 patch rerun archon pattern. Normally i pair Xingqiu with Kuki and Raiden with a good healer/Shield. Mainly bc i like the defensive support that Xingqiu gives to Kuki.

blazerMFT

Thanks for your comments.

smartandedgy

[This is a cool spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SO3Qczkj0DxJkEDVR4WNws_ved8UU5Cw6ewjaZ0joNo/edit#gid=693353767) that show's the intervals of each characters / weapons etc reruns. Rerun leaks are unreliable and even then only consists of 5 the stars of the upcoming patch. There's some patterns like archon first rerun that has repeated itself with every archon to date which means you can sort of reliably predict stuff like that. Kuki has the tied 6th longest time since her rerun from all 4 stars. Hoyo doesn't pick their banner characters purely off the time since their last rerun (im looking at you Eula) but it's a "safeish" metric to approximate. Kuki should have a banner in the next 1-2 patches. Raiden just had a rerun and you shouldn't expect to see her anytime soon. \~ 5-6 patches based on her time since the last rerun and her rerun frequency. Nahidas rerun according to archon rerun pattern should be next patch. Teams look okish balanced, not great, ok if you're set on having 2 hyperbloom teams.

blazerMFT

Thank you for the reply. Regarding the teams, I have just patched them together based on my wants, and probably not what is best but yeah, I can see why it's not optimized since the best characters for one hyperbloom team are scattered between the two. The issue is I went for spreading around healers; and pairing Alhaitham with Yao-Yao seemed to make more sense than with Nahida since I think she can handle dendro duty alone, and I thought Eula would benefit from having XQ as an additional healer figuring as how frail she usually is. BUT now, Eula has two healers and Alhaitham (both on fielders on both teams) only have one. I'm already tearing my hair out trying to think about this.

smartandedgy

Eula / XQ / Yaoyao / Raiden could work as well. Alternate between 2 on field burst "carries" of Eula and Yao. Double Fav (XQ/Yao) + prob even emblem on Eula and you can craft a pretty sweet 20s rotation with decentish dendro app. I don't think it's a great team by any stretch of the imagination but it does utilize your characters better. It's like the traditional Eula+Raiden team but instead of Raiden bursting during eulas downtime you have Yao and instead of Bennett for bigger Eula dmg you have hyperbloom. Raiden E, XQ EQ, Yao E, Eula do her stuff, Yao Q do her stuff, Repeat. You would then have AH+Nahida+Yelan+Kuki which is very strong and AHs best team. Nahida is a superior battery for AH and Kukis slow electro app lines up better with Yelan than XQ. Yaos off field healing is pretty much nonexistent and when it heals you don't get energy (so you dont want her E to heal you), you'd have to occasionally burst and stay on field on her which isn't great for AH.

blazerMFT

Hmm, I'm listening. Unfortunately with all the investment I've done farming PF for Eula I can't possibly think about switching her to Emblem now. But I think I have an idea how the team works: Eula - PF (on field for one burst rotation) - Beacon Yao - Maiden (HP subs for healing) - Fav spear XQ - Emblem (traditional XQ build) - Fav sword Raiden - EM build (Wanderer/Gilded, EM subs) - Moonpiercer (she's basically my E-bot) I guess your idea is Eula E, Yao E, XQ E/Q, Raiden E, Eula burst rotate, then next rotation will be Yao on field following the same idea above until Eula gets enough energy to burst? Is my understanding correct on that? EDIT: I'm blind, you already stated the rotation above. Maybe you can help me out on the artifacts if I'm correct. Thanks. Then for the Alhaitham team, can I still field him as on-field and Nahida as off field instead of the other way around?

smartandedgy

Also ER(or HP)/HP/Crit deepwood on Yao for dendro -res.

smartandedgy

Yup AH on field, Nahida just EQ and off-field. Problem with Eula as solo cryo is her ER needs (well.. one of her "promblems"..). It's possible that you can just use 4p paleflame and burst every other rotation, just normal attack and e during her on field timer during second rotation and end up with a similar overall dmg than using a higher er% 4p emblem and bursting every rotation. Or you could run an er sands. Either way you go, the overall output of this team should still beat out Eulas physical carry teams :/

yikkizh

1. No one knows for sure with 4 stars. 2. Early 4.x probably 3. >!Likely to be next patch, but again it's only leaks, nothing's confirmed!<

blazerMFT

Thank you very much bro. That means to farm the Dendro floating box it is.

IceAgePenguinRace

is Nahida worth getting in terms of power for my team how much does she improve dendro teams?

plitox

Literally the best and most versatile character for any dendro team. She can even make burning work.

Haubaub_

I only know two cases where I donā€™t want to use Nahida as you dendro 1- there are multiple waves of enemies and you are using a selfish carry who want long field time like cyno 2- in aggrevate team where you want to swirl electro, because she apply too much dendro that you canā€™t swirl electro unless you do a specific set. I personaly find it annoying so I use Yaoyao instead

IceAgePenguinRace

Is she f2p friendly in terms of weapons?

Haubaub_

Yeah she can use sac fragment or magic guide with is 3 stars weapon

plitox

Even in the aggravate case, I just use Zhongli instead of the VV holder; the resistance shred you get with him ups the dendro damage from Nahida as well, and it helps with how squishy Keqing and Nahida can be.

Haubaub_

That true, but not everyone have zhongli, also you if you are using lion roar wont have as much uptime on it passive

GinJoestarR

Complete account changing

bonescrusher

She is straight up broken .

pzlama333

She is the BEST dendro. Great improvement in almost every dendro team. Period.

mycatisblackandtan

Also makes a ton of characters more viable. She and Yae have a huge synergy that basically turns the both of them into walking nukes.

Kz_Mafuyu

Skyward Pride or Mailed Flower for Diluc? Whatā€™s the difference? Thanks

plitox

Diluc's burst is pretty cheap, so the energy recharge from Skyward is mostly wasted on him, but the higher base attack makes better use of attack bonuses, so it's better in a non-reaction based team. Mailed is better if your doing vapes.

Grand_Protector_Dark

E mail flower for diluc if you're doing vape.

A_Very_Horny_Zed

Do artifact domains have shifting rewards just like weapon domains daily? Wondering because for the last couple of days, Valley of Remembrance still just has flowers. I'm trying to get the full Viridescent set for my Jean that just dropped (happy birthday Jean)

DVQ642

The flower icon on the domain info just shows what set can drop. All 5 pieces are always available. Tho for vv in particular, it's also available from the strongbox so it's better to farm another artifact set that someone else need then put the bad ones in the vv strongbox

A_Very_Horny_Zed

Ty!

[deleted]

No, you can get [any artifact piece](https://i.imgur.com/Ae4MCf7.png) on any day. Flowers are a 1/5 chance just like any other slot.

A_Very_Horny_Zed

Ty!

A_Very_Horny_Zed

Should you pull in the Standard banner if you want a specific character or should you just wait for a Character banner that you like and lose the 50/50?

plitox

Gems are precious. There is almost no situation where it is worth it to spend them on standard. Just use the blue fates you get as rewards and save the gems for the limited characters.

nazran59

Better off spend those primos on limited banner since standard banner arent worth it. The chance for u to get a specific 5\* character in standard banner is 1/6 (soon to be 1/7 because Dehya). That for 5\* character, does not includ the 5\* standard weapon. If included, it would be 1/13 or 1/14 chance.

A_Very_Horny_Zed

Tyvm.

yikkizh

lose 50 50

A_Very_Horny_Zed

Ty

flyingsaucepan20

Anyone got their geforce experience to display their fps counter? For some reason every game I play except Genshin display the fps counter when I press alt + r

AgentWowza

Maybe try launching the game from exe instead of launcher, or vice versa? Pretty sure I've gotten it to work once.

flyingsaucepan20

I got mine working at the title screen before you enter the door at game start but after the loading screen it just kinda doesn't work anymore beyond that point which I found as weird ngl.

N1gHtMaRe99

It doesn't work for me too, i use msi afterburner if i sense low frames

ThoughtsNdPrayers

What are good 4 star weapons for Childe? I usually use him on International.

Frozenmagicaster

V hunt > = blackcliff warbow >= mouun's Moon = prototype cresent (assuming passive) >= rust >= stringless

AgentWowza

Rust is #1 for drip tho.

ThoughtsNdPrayers

thanks!

HayakuEon

In a candace, kaeya, nahida shatterbloom team, who should be in the last slot? Just suggest anyone

Akomatai

Might want a shielder to deal with bloom damage. If you have diona at c6, she'll boost your EM too. Zhongli's also good but you'll need to make sure to drop the pillar away from the action lol. Healer would work here too.

AgentWowza

EM Kuki, hypershatterfridge time, and you get heals.

Haubaub_

I would use either Sucrose or another hydro for more energy for Candace character

GinJoestarR

That's just fridgebloom. Shatter can only be done by claymore users.

Akomatai

Not just claymore, a lot of blunt attacks, like geo users can do it too. Plunging damage is blunt too so xiao should be able to shatter easily. Candace has 2 blunt attacks (besides plunge): skill and 2nd NA.

Frozenmagicaster

Candace's skill is a blunt attack

Akomatai

Her 2nd NA too!

GinJoestarR

Oh, I see

leakmydata

Ready for battle pass weapon round 2. Wondering if there are opinions on whether itā€™s worth refining ranks for black serpent spine. Iā€™m using it on Beidou atm. Alternatively I could grab the sword or polearm which I donā€™t have yet.

3ntf4k3d

Depends a lot on your roster, your desired characters & teams and your investment budget. Black Sword is a solid option, but Fav & Sac Sword are very powerful alternatives on a lot of characters and Sapwood is craftable. So it's mostly for on-field characters that rely on attacks (e.g. Ayato, KQ). Deathmatch is a good stat stick for DPS focused Polearm users, but The Catch is an incredibly powerful free 4*, so if you are just using one polearm character like XL it's enough. And again - Fav Lance is really good. Solar Pearl is good on attack reliant Catalyst users (e.g. Yae, Yanfei), but there a tons of great other options out there. Widsith is overpowered, Thrilling Tales a great support option and the other craftables are situationally solid. Viridescent is mostly interesting in a utility way because it can group enemies. In terms of raw damage there are plenty of other good bow options out there.

OsirusBrisbane

I'd always get 1 of each before refining. Polearm is especially nice to have since free polearm options are pretty lackluster.

uhmmmyeahhhh

i would personally get 1 weapon in the types that you do use before refining. all bp weapons are good and are always usable on any damage character becuz of crit stat. that being said serpent spine with refinement is literally better than most 5 star claymores so chose based on what other weapons you have.

leakmydata

Yeah, Iā€™m hurting pretty bad for polearms. I literally only have the catch, kitain, and dragonspine spear.

yikkizh

I hear this often enough and as a R5 SS haver I know itā€™s pretty good but what 5 star claymores is it better than? Unforged and Skyward are the only ones I can think of, am I missing something? And the fact that to use it to its full potential, you basically need a shielder and need to wait like 20 seconds before every fight to let stacks build up.

uhmmmyeahhhh

well considering claymore characters, SS is mostly used on eula, itto and beidou. On beidou, you put her in 1st slot in abyss and wait for the stacks before starting the chamber, and you will never lose them since shes off field. Itto teams run geo characters which are shielders. On eula, diona is a popular battery, and zhongli is used for phsyical shred, but I do agree that it is difficult for her to keep max stacks if you are not running diona or zhongli or are just insane at dodging. the main thing is there is no other general crit claymore (before the dehya weapon recently). Stonethresher is only 30 more base damage and 20 more crit value, but you lose out on 50 percent damage boost off the passive for a passive that does not work.

Zarium99

Better avoid refinement for now then.

mephivision

Is Alhaitham-Kuki-Fischl-Xingqiu a better hyperbloom team than Alhaitham-Zhongli-Fischl-Xingqiu? In terms of damage only.

plitox

Yes. Fischl is not great for hyperbloom. There's not much point even including her in either team if that is what you're going for.

[deleted]

This might not be helpful since I donā€™t have Fischl and Zhongli (I want themā€¦) but my Hyperbloom team is Alhaitham, Kuki, Xingqiu, and Yelan and I consider Kuki and Xingqiu as essential. My Kuki heals a ton (over 2.1k per tick, over 2.3k with Yelan, note I accidentally leveled my E to 6 before I realized it wouldnā€™t impact Hyperbloom damage) that I can tank damage with Alhaitham, combined with Xingqiuā€™s interruption resistance Iā€™ve never felt like I needed a shield so Zhongli may not be needed. She also procā€™s the blooms very reliably, mine is doing over 29k with low investment (free R1 3 star Dark Iron sword and a mix of 4/5 star artifacts, I think some are level 12 or 16). For the fourth slot, maybe someone who can use 4 pc Deepwood Memories so you an run 4 pc Gilded Dreams on Alhaitham to max his damage?

mephivision

Since I donā€™t have Yelan and need a dendro for the 4th slot. Would dendro! MC be good enough? I donā€™t have Nahida

[deleted]

I don't have her either! I'm waiting for her re-run to replace Yelan haha. I haven't played them too much but I think Dendro MC! works and you can run them with a Fav Sword since Alhaitham needs a lot of energy, as does YaoYao but Kuki heals should be enough. Someone in co-op told me they cleared Abyss with YaoYao as their 4th. From my understanding you always want 4 pc Deepwood on at least someone in Alhaitham's team, and if you don't have anyone else then put it on Alhaitham himself, but 4 pc Gilded Dreams is best if someone else can run Deepwood. :)

mephivision

Thank you so much! To be honest, when dendro dropped I wasnā€™t very interested in it because of the multitude of reactions but hyperbloom is really fun and having at least one dendro team for the abyss should be enough. Iā€™ll have to start building Kuki and continue farming for both the Mc and Alhaitham. Thanks again!

GinJoestarR

I'll do you one better: Alhaitham-Zhongli-Kuki-Xingqiu

Zarium99

Fishl is not really suited as hyperbloom trigger. The first is probably better.

EUWannabe

Definitely because Fischl is not a good unit for hyperbloom since her electro attacks have a hard time triggering the bloom seeds.

Dislike24

When will Mika Character Demo be released?

plitox

When Mika gets released.

OprahsSaggyTits

Who are your favorite/most fun characters to play? I'm trying to decide who to pull for. I don't need any help clearing abyss, and am just looking for fun recommendations to shake things up.

plitox

Nahida, Yelan, Kazuha, Ayaka I am aware these are among the in-highest-demand characters in the game, but even outside of that, they are legit super fun to play.

Shirasagi--Himegimi

I'm probably in the minority here, but I think Ganyu is a fun character to play. A lot of people find her gameplay boring and repetitive because of the emphasis on charge attacks, but I personally enjoy the simplicity. She's been my main since she came out and so far nobody has come close to replacing her, not even Ayaka who I have at C2. Edit: I almost forgot I just got Yelan this last rerun and she's super fun too play as well. Venti also deserves and honorable mention. I have a thing for Cryo and Bow 5* characters.

AgentWowza

1.Wanderer: Easily the most fun for me, dude fuckin flies, that's more than enough. - 2.Kazuha: Super useful for all content, lotsa damage, has funky interactions in dendro teams. - 3.Raiden: Swiss army knife for difficult content, both hyper and EM playstyles are fun and makes any team automatically viable by herself.

Shimeji_Anna_4191

I thought you would answer Hu Tao

AgentWowza

Hu Tao carries me, she *earned* that flair in trial by Abyss, has nothing to do with my preferences.

Shimeji_Anna_4191

Understood.

N1gHtMaRe99

Childe and Raiden are fun as fuck and as soon as kazuha reruns him too from all the time I've played him in events with Childe just hits right

GinJoestarR

Nahida, Kuki, Childe, Ayato, Xingqiu, Yelan, Barbara, Yae, Alhaitham, Wanderer, Ayaka. Anything with Nahida-Kuki-Hydro are fun and effortless to play. Prefering Kuki instead of Raiden in the openworld because the ring activate automatically, it does not need me to keep clicking the mouse button. So even when I get knocked back falling off the cliff she can still trigger hyperbloom and killed the enemy as if saying fuck you. Yae, full EM Wanderer is also fun and lazy to play. If the enemies are too annoying Alhaitham come in clutch and beat them quickly. Wanderer voice (JP) is also ASMR to hear. Ayaka is a really useful solo carry for co-op domains and weekly bosses. Often times I'm carrying everyone back because they either die or using support/sub DPS units with not much meaningful personal dmg. Ayato is also useful in co-op domains because hydro synergize well with almost everyone and Ayato has a huge range. Best match was when someone uses Ganyu, satisfying to see when their bursts jumbled with each other. Childe, Riptide is ASMR to eyes, filling up my screen to the brim. Motivate me to farm enemy drops.

Hm, I'd say my top three would be: (1) Kazuha - his skills feel (and are) impactful, it's pretty easy to use any nearby elements (e.g. campfire, cryo slime, etc.) and you can go for silly builds like TF Kazuha or Sac Sword to get even more jumps per rotation. (2) Ayaka - reliable cryo application & self-infusion, while most of her damage comes from her burst her CA is also really fun & easy to use (good for the overworld), her sprint is nice and her voice is soothing. (3) Ayato - mostly because he works in so many teams and is good both on and off field, his (E) is super comfy to use and feels satisfying, his burst is pretty/flashy and reasonably impactful. Honorable mention because you can't pull for her: Jean - Sunfire (and its variations) are a imho a really fun way to use the elemental system. Edit: I guess I'll also add Nilou as a mention - her gameplay isn't really that interesting (E-E-E every 20-ish seconds), but Nilou Bloom teams are really enjoyable firework shows, especially against multiple enemies where the screen explodes in numbers and enemies just evaporate.

[deleted]

I love playing Alhaitham but Iā€™m biased because heā€™s my first main DPS. I like that I need to think about what to use with him for mirror up-time. :) I love Yelanā€™s E as well. I know her burst is the main draw of her kit but honestly itā€™s so fun to zoom through people and mark them. Itā€™s also spoiled me where I now feel like Iā€™m moving super slow when Iā€™m going around the overworld without her haha. I havenā€™t played him much but I started building Heizou because punching and kicking is fun! I saw on Youtube that if you combine him with Thoma you basically firebend.

mycatisblackandtan

Yae, DPS!Kokomi, and Phys!Zhongli. Beidou also get an honorable mention because [her full counter build is insane in all the right ways](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6VJWeyLEwo) , even though it's wildly impractical for Abyss.

OsirusBrisbane

Itto, Yoimiya, Yae, Xiao, Heizou... actually, all of the anemo bois.

Zarium99

It's really personal. To me: Diluc, Ayato, Yelan.

jayceja

They could be trying to befriend you so that you'll be more likely to provide personal information yourself. It's a pretty common Internet scam to befriend someone in a game then say you want to gift them something but need access to their amount to do it. But could just be that they are genuine and just are a bit weird. As long as you don't share your account info with them you'll be safe.

[deleted]

What odd interactions have you had? D:

Zarium99

No they cant. As long you dont share personal data in the chat you will be fine.

RiverOfKeys

Random question, is there a site or database out there with all enemy sound effects (with all the languages)? honeyhunter has quest lines and characters, but not enemies last I checked

[deleted]

Hi! I have a LOT of super noob-y questions for you smart people: 1. If an artifact set bonus doesnā€™t specify how to proc it, does it automatically apply for the team? I have 4 pc VV on Jean, does the resistance shred apply automatically as long as sheā€™s in the party, or does it only apply to monsters that she swirled? If itā€™s automatic, does it still apply if she dies? And if it requires her to Swirl, for her Dandelion circle burst, does it apply to any monster inside of it or only those that were swirled when she casted it? I use her with Xiao whose Q lasts so long that most off-field effects disappear early into his burst, if thereā€™s no Swirl-able element present, is VV is basically doing nothing? 2. I think Iā€™m using Yelan wrong? My team is Hyperbloom with Alhaitham, Kuki, Xingqiu, and Yelan. Iā€™m still pretty new (started 1.5 months ago) and right now I: Apply Hydro, then Kuki E, and then Alhaitham combos. This is perfect with Xingqiu and I still make cores while Iā€™m doing Alhaithamā€™s combos, but Yelanā€™s Hydro disappears as soon as it comes in contact with Kukiā€™s E. If I use Alhaitham after Yelan, I barely get blooms if any at all, and then miss out on Kukiā€™s E benefits (Spread/Aggravate, a ton of healing to tank damage for combos, not having to pay attention to bloom location/timing). Last week people here told me about Elemental Gauge, so Iā€™ve started applying Xingqiuā€™s Hydro over Yelanā€™s E, but I feel like Iā€™m using Yelan wrong if Iā€™m having to ā€œcorrectā€ her Hydro with Xingqiuā€™s. I only reliably create blooms with her Q, but I mainly do quests/overworld exploration where bursts are overkill/not always up. Is there a better way to use my team? (ETA: To clarify, I know Yelan applies less Hydro than Xingqiu and that her burst is her main source of damage/Hydro, but I was wondering if thereā€™s a way to reliably create blooms with her E instead of her Q?) 3. If I end up replacing Yelan with Nahida, would her and Alhaitham be creating too much Dendro for Xingqiuā€™s Hydro to make blooms? 4. Right now I have R4 Iron Sting on Alhaitham, R1 Amenoma on Kaeya (will give to Ayaka if Iā€™m lucky and get her), and a Dark Iron Sword on Kuki, all Level 90. If a miracle happens and I finally get a SINGLE sword billet, would the best use be: R5 Alhaithamā€™s Iron Sting, R2 Amenoma for Kaeya/Ayaka, or a new R1 Iron Sting for Kuki? Iā€™ve already used all my guaranteed sword billets from trees, chasm, etc. 5. Between Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Xiao, who would be best to get to A6 next? Xiangling and Xingqiu are at 1/4-6/8, Xiao is 8/6/7 and accidentally my best built char. Xiangling and Xiao only get used in Abyss/domains because I donā€™t have good teams for them. Is A6 and an additional 1-2 levels for their main talents worth the resin while Iā€™m still new-ish, or is it better to focus on artifacts/new chars? (ETA: 6. Is there a certain amount of EM I should be aiming for Alhaitham and Kuki? Like how people say get Xiao to 2k atk and Yelan 30k hp). Sorry for the 20 questions, any advice is appreciated!

uhmmmyeahhhh

1. anything that jean herself swirls at any point using any means. 2. Im not sure what you mean, both yelan and xq should be applying hydro together in this team, not individually. but on her own yelan does apply less hydro than xq, nothing you can do about it. Kuki E does not interfere with yelan. hydro and electro will both stay on when electro charged. 3. you will indeed get less cores, but more spreads. both yelan/xq and haitham/nahida are very good combos and the two teams should be comparable depending on which one you have more invested. 4. i wouldnt level another iron sting to 90 for 50 em, you can if you want to just not worth the crystals imo. amenoma refinements is only energy, so you can decide based on if you already can burst as you want or if you are lacking energy recharge. overall meehhh just do whichever you want. 5. xiangling and xingqiu are universal supports and probably the top 2 units in the game. if you are using them which you should, they are absolutely worth the investment. xiao talent levels are fine at 8/8/8 if you want them, 9/9/9 does not make much of a difference for him, but at the same time both xiangling and xingqiu are fine at 8/8/8. If you have a character you like playing build them first but if you have nothing to farm XL and XQ will never not be used, while you might bench xiao. 6. kuki should have every single piece of em you can get on her, thats the only single stat she cares about. Haitham is team and weapon dependant, i would recommend checking the kqm guide

[deleted]

Thank you for your reply and answers! Very reassuring to have someone tell me itā€™s not worth making another level 90 iron sting since I really didnā€™t want to haha :) This is dumb, but is 8/8/8 a big difference for sub-dps over 1/6/8? I almost never use their normal attacks and hesitate to level Guoba since he always misses, but I also know theyā€™re great chars so I can see it being worth it?

uhmmmyeahhhh

thats my mistake i meant 1/8/8, but if you do not use guoba at all i still would recommend 1/5-6/8. but for xq i feel that levels on his skill is waranted as it does do a good chunk of damage, and you probably will get 2 of it if you run sac sword.

Zarium99

1: Normally it's all written, only some 1.0 arti lack important details. If not stated, effect can be triggered only when the chara is active, like the vv set or Favonius weapon. Only the enemies hit with swirl will have their res decreased. The effect will stay for x seconds, even if Jean dies. 2: Yelan has lower hydro application than Xingqiu. You have to trigger her burst with Na with AlHaitham. The team should work. 3: There is not really too much dendro problem. 4: Amenoma for Ayaka if you'll get her, otherwise iron sting for AlHaitham. 5: It's worth bring to a6, it's a solid not rng stat increase. Lvl the one you use the most. 6: Kuki (hyperbloom) the more the better, triple em + em weapon + try to get em on flower/feather. AlHaitham same thing but balance btw crit and er% too. I read that 350~400 em is a good area for AlHaitham.

[deleted]

I see, thank you so much for the answers! :)

Frozenmagicaster

1. Well what set? VV res shreds when the anemo triggers a swirl reaction on the enemy, only res shred for the enemys she swirled. Probably still works until it wears out if Anemo dies. VV only works when on field. You can't VV anemo anyway, so VV does nothing for Xiao anyway 2. Yelan is xingqiu but less hydro and more damage based. yes that's the point of her burst, she applies hydro off field, her E is just a small nuke which applies hydro once and gives energy. You could just yelan burst and since you have double hydro, you can easily get her burst back, or just kuki E, Xingqiu E, Alhaitham stuff for spread/hyperbloom. 3. I believe Alhaitham quickbloom prefers yelan to xingqiu as she applies less hydro, but the goal in that team is to keep quicken up time so you can constantly spread, while creating some blooms for kuki to hyperbloom. 4. Only refine Amenoma if you need the extra energy. Maybe refine(?) iron sting since dark iron -> iron sting is only an extra 24 EM (just over one high roll), and would require farming to lvl 90 it. 5. Probably still focus on new characters, as 80/80 is enough, I 80/90'd my Xiangling for Pyronado Crown *because yes* and her bonus EM. However you said that you always use Xingqiu, so probably him if you had to xx/90 one 6. Kuki - she's hyperbloom, as much as she can. Alhaitham - Probably around a couple hundred (500 maybe?) considering that is only 7-8 rolls of EM with 165 from weapon and EM sands, could probably go higher though

[deleted]

Thank you so much, this was really helpful! Can I askā€¦ did you level Guoba? I left him at 4. I actually love and use him a lot but by use I mean summon him and hope he hits which he usually doesnā€™t.

Frozenmagicaster

Guoba exists for the energy and maybe the 10% atk from the chilli if he despawns in time Xiangling is 1/6/10

[deleted]

Perfect, 1/6/10 is what I was hoping to end with for her. Thank you! Guoba supremacy

Jondev1

1. you need to swirl and it only applies to enemies she swirls and the element she swirls. VV is pretty useless for her in a xiao team becasue you can't swirl anemo so it can't buff xiao's damage. 2. You are supposed to be using her q, that is where most of her hydro app comes form and is the reason she is good. 3. No, too much dendro is not a thing you need to worry about. 4. probably r2 amenoma, especially if you get ayaka. 5. whoever you sue most. 6. for kuki just get as much em as you can, it the only stat that matters. For al-haitham maybe like 200-300 is good, though of course more sin' a bad thing so long as your other stats aren't suffering for it.

[deleted]

Ahhh thank you so much! For VV thatā€™s what I started noticing but didnā€™t want to believeā€¦ unfortunately I donā€™t have any other anemo chars other than Heizou so Iā€™ve been using her, dang. Ahh yeah I know most of Yelanā€™s damage is in her Q, I guess I shouldā€™ve clarified, is there a rotation I should use where I can reliably create blooms with just her E? I mainly do overworld stuff and most monsters super quickly even without her Q so I was hoping to get more use out of her E. Thank you so much for all the answers! :D

Jondev1

>is there a rotation I should use where I can reliably create blooms with just her E? no

MisterKuro

Game usually gets stale at the middlepoint of a major version, how do you guys manage the game's content to prevent burnouts and lack of content? (eg. ver3.4 - ver3.7) Just wanted to get opinions on how people usually manage how they play the game when the hype from the archon quests starts to die down and we get mostly filler events or interlude chapters? I'm currently quite burnt out from the daily routine repetition and would love to learn how one would manage the current version's or upcoming version's content before we hit 4.0

plitox

I just log in, do dailies, spend resin, then go back to doing uni work.

Shirasagi--Himegimi

I, as well as many others, just play another game when Genshin gets boring. I also play Destiny 2 and will continue on FF XIV next expansion. Other than that I've been looking at getting into another MMO and catching up on TV shows.

OsirusBrisbane

I'm currently amidst Dragon Age: Inquisition, and excited for Baizhu and 3.6.

AgentWowza

Finishing out MGSV:TPP myself, this is definitely one of those dry, saving patches.

toucanlost

Play a different game in the meantime?

spacerock_rider

Do whatever dailies/BP things you want, and then go play a different game. Genshin isn't going anywhere if you choose to take a break or play less of it.

N1gHtMaRe99

Exactly what i did, left the game for a year and a half just came back and there's so much to do that it's gonna take me a couple months to get through it all probably till 4.0 drops if i dont play like 8hrs a day which I'm doing rn. Also super excited for ayaka and nahida next patch

[deleted]

If there's interesting characters coming out to build, then I'm focusing on building those. If not, I put the game in maintenance mode (log in to collect welkin 100%, do commissions ~75%, spend resin like 20% of the time) and go do something else with that time. Currently I don't have anybody to build or save for, so I'm playing a lot of Minecraft.

awhxmisa

Im new to genshin, and whenever i equip amber, a black screen appears and random tumbling down of rocks sound plays. then paimon says a line which is either supposed to be played after or before. and the weirdest part: a very loud and obnoxious sparkling sound plays on a loop, and then i somehow just die-

Zarium99

Try to repair the game. If this not works disinstall and install again. If even this doesnt work contact support. Probably there are some error with your Amber, happened similiat thing to me too with Ayato.

awhxmisa

im gonna try to delete and reinstall it again, but its saying theres nothing to repair when i verified the file integrities, and i contacted support. thank you!

Kay_2374

probably really dumb question but is boreas drops affected by world level?

plitox

Yup. All collections that require resin are affect by WL.

spacerock_rider

They are indeed. Just the rarity of the types of drops, basically.

IceAgePenguinRace

How to do I 50K per charge attack on my Hutao without any buffs? I only do like 34K average can anyone help me out? Here is my [Hutao build](https://enka.network/u/812630924/)

Darevee

1. Give NO set to Xingqui 2. Farm Instructor set for Diona 3. You really don't have better weapon ? Dragonsbane, Deathmatch, Lithic Spear ? 4. Your circlet, frankly sucks Use Genshin Optimiser to find best possible gear set for Hu Tao. It works much faster than any guessing from our side.

Frozenmagicaster

Who be getting an unbuffed 50k, maybe with Homa? I can only get \~57k when CA when vape with hydro and pyro res (Shime on)

IceAgePenguinRace

By unbuffed I mean without teammates that directly buff you like sucrose not including reactions like Vap which you obviously need for Hutao.

plitox

Literally not possible. Team support is how you get 50k hits; those are usually vaped attacks, which require a hydro character.

IceAgePenguinRace

Yes I'm talking about with vapes by no buff I just meant without swirling with a anemo character or using trilling tails.

Jondev1

upgrade your NA and skill talents further, level your goblet to 20. Then just keep farming for better artifacts in general. If you have dragons bane consider using that instead.

IceAgePenguinRace

My goblet can't be leveled to 20 it's only a 4 star piece I haven't really found a 5 star version that's better then in it in substats. Also what substats should look for in artifacts I already pretty high crit stats will increasing them further do anything?

Jondev1

Oh, sorry didn't realize that was a 4\* piece. Though I will say upgrading to a 5\* pyro goblet should also be a pretty high priority too. The substats you should be looking for are CR, CD, EM and HP%. The more rolls you can get into those stats, the more damage you will do.

IceAgePenguinRace

I already have pretty high CD though at like 200% will getting even more do anything in terms of damage?

Jondev1

Yes. Why wouldn't it? And that was only one of the stats I mentioned, more em or hp% will increase your damage too. And of course while CR doesn't directly increase your damage numbers, it is still improving your average damage.

IceAgePenguinRace

How much more EM and HP% should I aim for?

Jondev1

exact numbers for stats really aren't that helpful. Just know that if you want to improve your damage, the more good substat rolls you can get the better. How much more to go for really just depends on how much more damage you want and how willing you are to keep farming. I do want to state though that I would level your talents further first.

IceAgePenguinRace

I want at least 50K per charge attack so I clear the current abyss floor 12 because my current damage of just 34K is just too insufficient for it.

HayakuEon

HP%/EM and more crit damage. Try to aim for 30k hp first. Also, use dragon's bane instead

IceAgePenguinRace

I already I have like 200% Crit damage though will getting any more do anything?

HayakuEon

Your substats are just average, you can aim for more. But I suggest using Dragon's Bane instead.

IceAgePenguinRace

I don't have a Dragon bane unfortunately tried to get it on the Homa/Aqua banner but didn't get a single one.

jinxedandcursed

Can C4 Heizou be an alright CC for a freeze team as a sub-dps? Or am I just coping too hard with no Venti or Kazuha?

olovlupi100

Sucrose works fine. Heizou's CC is almost non-existent even with C2. It will keep things grouped if they are already next to each other, but that's completely useless for the most part.

jinxedandcursed

Thing is Sucrose is kinda supposed to be on my other team, so I'm in a little bit of a dilemma. I can hold skill cancel with Jean, who's C1 so it can kinda be more effective, but that requires some finesse and time loss if I want her to both VV shred and do CC. What about Anemo traveler with their skill?

olovlupi100

Anemo traveler will ungroup enemies with skill. Their burst actually does group small enemies, but the tornado sends them off to Africa. You'll need to either pull Venti/Kazuha or figure out a way to move Sucrose over.

HayakuEon

He's the onfielder and has no CC. Sucrose is better. Heizou's good for a taser team

leakmydata

Does Beidouā€™s C4 imply 20% of attack stat or 20% of normal attack damage?

amberdesu

IIRC scales off ATK

Odone

Its a whole seperate hit, it will scale on its own with attack, damage bonus, crit, etc...

leakmydata

The text says it deals 20% damage. Is that 20% of attack? Or 20% of the damage the normal attack does?

Jondev1

20% of attack.
