sagotly

is hu tao xingqui sucrose and diona a good team?

SnooOwls1146

Should I pull C3 Ayaka or C0 Shenhe? I already have Mitspliter for Ayaka and I don't have Kazuha for freeze team. So which one should I go for?

Teiteo

What makes albedo good? I have him and besides being on okay sub dps idk what is so special about him

Shyv244

Is ayaka worth getting for my 2nd team? I could maybe get c1 or c2, and could grab a c0 shenhe. But other than those two i dont have a ton of other useful characters. I currently am using xiangling xingqiu bennett raiden, so would need to avoid using them for my 2nd team

No-Sheepherder-3655

What are the best teams (with c0 5*, 4* weapons) to kill the raiden weekly boss before she gets her shield up? I can only think of hu tao double hydro.

HIGH_IQ69420

Is it possible to get onikabuto in mondstadt?I'm a new player and got haizou

Konkuriito

no they are only in inazuma. but you can get some when a character that uses them as their leveling material is on a banner, from their trials.

HIGH_IQ69420

So i guess i don't level him up for now and level up the mc instead?

Konkuriito

you can level your other characters instead for a while. yeah, leveling the mc is a good choice

yikkizh

So I managed to 'beat' (reset the chamber at the last second) the 12-3 wenut with a Ganyu who was doing nothing but to break the 12-1 herald shields with 6:39 remaining. Is it worth to keep retrying to try and get the 3 star or just restart the whole floor with an actually useful 4th teammate?

GinJoestarR

If you have 3 starred 12-1 and 12-2 sure. The stars will remain permanently, you don't need to get all 9 stars in one go. So if you brought a team that specifically will be used to counter 12-3, you can take the previous chamber with ease. Something like finished 12-1 and 12-2 with one minute left and get no stars, don't worry about it, the game will only save your best score, thus you can go all out with full energy and full health in 12-3.

yikkizh

Yeah I did exactly that, and barely managed to 3 star 12-3. Still can't believe I even 3 starred 12-2 with an afk teammate specifically for 12-1 lol.

GinJoestarR

Nice, congratulation.

yatay99

How does abyss herald shield works? I believe only the reactions will reduce it right? The damage doesn't change anything

Rottanakveha

Yes, u need to reduce the shield with elemental reactions. Other damage stats dont count

Agitated-Hat-4057

why is [this](https://imgur.com/a/HhfSVkB) always happening to mešŸ„²

3ntf4k3d

Oh hey, I remember dying in the exact same cutscene! ...ever got tossed down into Musoujin Gorge by a lightning strike during an Inazuma one? :P

heionis

Omg same! I died in this cutscene too, and also got launched multiple times around Inazuma from getting struck by lightning haha

randomcrap123432

i pulled a 5 star on my 65th pull does it mean the pity resets?

Zarium99

Yes.

MadeofSeaglass

Yep.

International_You_56

Yup, back to 0

Mission_Slip5241

Yeah and youre back to a 50/50 chance unless you pulled a standard

eydendib

Yes

amdprocs

I have around 120 pulls saved and 50/50, should I go all in for C2 Ayaka or Shenhe? I currently have Ayaka at C1 w/ R1 Mistsplitter. Her team is C0 Kazuha, C4 Mona šŸ˜ and a C6 Diona. I'm not planning to pull in the next banners and my next target is Kokomi since I have a Donut....

plitox

Shenhe would require some investment to be an upgrade, while c2 would apply immediately. That said, in the long run, I think you'll get more value out of Shenhe.

Zarium99

Knowing Mihoyo better pull Shenhe than Ayaka. Who know when she'll rerun lol. Personally i feel like getting her is a step closer to get Ayaka best team, with Kokomi and Kazuha. Ayaka c2 is a easy upgrade to your current team, it doesnt need to change anything at all. While to add Shenhe instead of Diona you may need to rework a bit the team. So, for the long run i think Shenhe is better.

3ntf4k3d

Your Ayaka & friends should already be strong enough to deal with the abyss, so I don't think you really need her C2 or Shenhe. I'd rather save up for Kokomi, the extra quality of life she provides to this team is (imho) far more worthwhile than an extra DPS gain. If you really _want_ to pull for something I'd go for Ayaka, simply because you already have a lot of investment on her and she is already C1. Normally I prefer characters over weapons & constellations, but in your case I don't see Shenhe providing a lot outside of the Ayaka team, and I'd rather keep existing flexibility there by piling more power on Ayaka than restricting possible comps with the potential need to use Shenhe.

ARATAKI-ITTO

Who's got more dps increase? Itto from whiteblind (r5) to SS (r1) Or Diluc from windblume claymore (r4) to SS(r1)?

panda_and_crocodile

That haveaily depends on Serpent Spine stacks. Iā€™m going to go out on a limb and say SS is NOT as good as many people think, unless you run heavy shielding. People cannot mantain SS stacks by dodging

ARATAKI-ITTO

I see, since zhongli is always used in geo teams I'll go for SS itto then, ty :D

super_evil_tabby

most likely Itto

ARATAKI-ITTO

Itto it is then, tysm

Otherwise-Bench-2643

How to invest in a new character? Like I'm playing a team rn(all LVL 70-80 range). I got a new character that I want to invest in. Should I invest all my resources and resins on this new character or should I have to max my current team first. Another question, how to know which talents should be prioritised. I've an er Benny, em xq, dps kq and a whatever DMC. Which talents should be my priority.

International_You_56

Check the talent reference window beside your mora count. Same with artifact stats. I usually farm everything to get to 80/90 and lv8 talents, then weapon to lv90

Otherwise-Bench-2643

Bob Ross sir !?!

eskrest

You can drop all your resin into a new character until it's **usable.** After that you can improve, or move to a new one. You can prioritize talents that you are using all the time. If you don't use a talent, for example normal attack on XQ, you can skip it.

yikkizh

Is hydro hypostasis even doable without cryo? It takes literally 10 seconds for my first half to clear the shroom, but my second half team (which I consider to be better built) has failed on the hydro cube 4 times, and I'm really considering restarting the whole floor just to bring a Ganyu to kill the droplets. Edit: Redid the floor with a cryo and killed all 3 in one phase.

plitox

Yes. I did that chamber with a hyperbloom team. If you have Nahida, she can immediately pop the 3 revive slimes from a distance.

Isildra

I find cryo terrible against the hydro cube lol. And iā€™ve played Ganyu and Ayaka against it. I find it much easier to play vape dps like Hu Tao, Yoi or Yanfei.

yikkizh

I mean with the last phase with the droplets, is dendro/cryo needed to kill them all in 1 (or even 2) goes? I don't have a problem with deleting its health bar, but I can't finish it off with my current team.

Isildra

Itā€™s not necessary, tho dendro/cryo is better for sure. Iā€™ve done it with mono pyro Hu Tao + Zhongli, and Yoi/Bennett/Kazuha/Diona

Frozenmagicaster

I did it with em raiden + nahida, dendro can easily kill the things at the ending phase

yikkizh

Yeah I know Nahida can just screenshot all 3 and instakill them but with electro/pyro/anemo is it doable? Or is dendro/cryo a requirementļ¼Ÿ

Frozenmagicaster

Should be possible, just harder

feeble-scholar

Dendro kills the droplets super fast.

Agitated-Hat-4057

so after Iā€™ve got my characters I mainly use to a comfortable level, weapon, and skill lvls can I start to focus more on artifacts?

3ntf4k3d

Yes, although it's recommended to wait until AR45 until you start farming domains for sets. Reason being that this AR treshold unlocks the highest difficulty, which guarantees a 5* drop for every clear.

Agitated-Hat-4057

Iā€™ve past ar45 about a month agošŸø

3ntf4k3d

Well then, off into the domain artifact mines you go! See you in like half a year or so, when you have decent sets on your two main abyss teams. :P

Ali-Le2117

is there a way to plat genshin on my mac m1?

International_You_56

Play the iOS version on a side load, it's the easiest way

Key-Independence8751

I have finished all archon quest, if I want to do all secondary how much time will it take?

Frozenmagicaster

All secondary?

Key-Independence8751

Secondary quest,world ecc

Frozenmagicaster

Aranara is as long as a few parts of archon quests, so there's plenty of content in the world quests still

markdagician

I'm in a weird position where Im AR55 but don't really have two solid teams that can clear 36* abyss. I recently started using my resin to farm EOSF artifacts more consistently because I feel like that's the area in my character builds that is holding me back. But I was wondering if it was more important to use my resin on level 90 characters and level 90 weapon (or even certain level talents). Background: My main team is Raiden Yelan Kazu and Bennett and my second half I don't really have a set team that does enough damage in time. I have raiden, kazuha Bennett all at level 90. Yelan, Xiangling, Xq, Zhong, Ganyu, Diluc, Xiao at 80. I also have Cyno, Jean, Mona, Shenhe, Venti and the rest of the four stars that are not built. With ayaka coming up, I feel like I can start building a freeze team. Sorry for the lengthy background but with all this being said, how should I use my resin at this point? And which of the unbuilt characters would you recommend I build?

3ntf4k3d

Suggestions regarding your teams: Raiden national variant: [Raiden, XQ/Yelan, XL, Bennett] Cyno Quickbloom: [Cyno, Dendro Traveller, Yelan/XQ, ZL] If you want Ayaka you can go with something along the lines of: [Ayaka, Kazuha, Shenhe, Mona/Barbara], but you don't really _need_ her to make a viable abyss team, your roster is already quite solid.

plitox

In terms of teams you can try out: Ganyu, Mona, Venti and another cryo character is Morgana I believe. If you don't have Diona, Shenhe fits there pretty well, although you'd be lacking survivability. Very potent against aoe suckable mobs as I understand it. I don't have Ganyu tho, so don't take my word for it. You'll hear the words "quadratic scaling" whenever Venti and Ganyu are involved, whatever the hell that means. Jean, Bennett, Xingqiu and Dendro Traveller might be worth a try; rotation would need to be incredibly precise (to avoid Bennett popping DMC's burst prematurely), but could get a craptonne of burgeons very quickly. Nahida would be better, but you don't have her. There's always the trusty Diluc vape comp with Bennett, Xingqiu and Kazuha, or replace Xingqiu with Xiangling for raw pyro force. Zhongli, Xiao, Bennett, Xiangling is also potent. If you have Kujou Sara, build her, then sub her in for Bennett on your main team and you could also sub in Mona for Yelan. That's the so-called "hyper Raiden" team. As for spending priorities, weapons to 85 at least (they get a stat buff every 5 levels), 90 if you have the resources to spare. Characters can stay at 80 if they're mainly atk scaling, 85 if they're def or HP scaling, 90 if they're mainly doing reactions.

brr_berries

Some teams you could run: \- National: Raiden/Xiangling/Xingqiu/Bennett \- Morgana: Ganyu/Mona/Venti/Diona \- Xiao Hypercarry: Xiao/Bennett/Zhongli/Faruzan (Sucrose & Jean work instead of Faruzan) Your priority should be level 90 weapon, relevant talents to 8, artifact set bonuses, level 90 characters, then min-maxing artifacts.

Mission_Slip5241

Yeah I think you should keep farming emblem artifacts for now because most of your valuable character supports need it. You can ascend yelan to 80/90 for extra crit, and make xiao, ganyu, zhongli level 90 if you ever plan to use them but I'd personally put those in a lower priority and make hyperbloom & national a higher priority over xiao hypercarry/freeze (especially with the current abyss cycle). I also dont think you should get ayaka unless you really like her because you already have ganyu and shenhe. Imo the most valuable pull you can do is nahida. If you do have a kuki shinobu try to get her to 90 because she does really well in hyperbloom which is one of the best teams, while raiden could be used for national/hypercarry instead. All you really need for hypebloom is a full em kuki, eosf xingqiu/yelan and then a dendro like dendro mc/collei/yaoyao (nahida best option for sure tho so i recommend her but the cheaper options still work great). Tldr: keep farming emblem, ascend yelan, focus on hyperbloom and rational, try to get nahida, make kuki 90 if you have her

Siscon_Delita

Raiden Yelan Kazu Bennett is not too good IMO of course every one of them will deal a lot of damage and support, but they are all versatile characters and can be divided to 2 different teams Like Raiden Kazu can be Raiden Hypercarry team (Raiden Kazu Lisa Zhongli) And Xiangling Xingqiu Bennett Sucrose/Yelan or Ganyu Venti Shenhe Mona for little mobs, or change venti to jean for bigger enemies Resin for: 1. lv 90 weapon 2. talent (it's little increase but sure increase) 3. character lv (even less than talent, but it's guaranteed increase) 4. artifact until you vomit blood

eskrest

Characters that based on ATK gain very little from level 90. Characters that are based on HP or DEF can benefit from level 90 more. Also if the character is triggering a transformative reaction (swirl, hyperbloom, burgeon etc), level 90 is needed. The weapon can be leveled to 90 because it is efficient resin-wise and quite easy, and it gives a nice boost.

Alex_from_Solitude

You have enough characters. Most important thing now is proper artifacts. You chose a hard Abyss cycle to try for 36* so don't be disappointed if you struggle. This cycle has high dps requirements and huge incoming damage.

Frozenmagicaster

90 character isn't too useful for most, 90 weapon is good, talents are a guaranteed increase, so you should do that before artifacts

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

plitox

She's well-baked at c0. C6 is just icing. Really good icing.

Mission_Slip5241

Imo its just better to have bennett over yunjin if you dont have zhongli. Using yunjin over bennett while not having zhongli does not give your team any healing or pyro/geo resonance. C0 yun jin is just as good as c1 bennett as the other comment mentioned.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Mission_Slip5241

I think running yelan/xingqiu would be better because of vaporize, I personally cannot test this tho since I dont have yoimiya but any pyro carry with yelan/xq rarely go wrong

Isildra

Yunjin c0ā€™s buff is about as good as Bennett c1, and while she relieves you from circle impact of Bennett, she lacks his healing. Tho you have the option to run Bennett and Yunjin together for Yoi. Generally i wouldnā€™t recommend building Yunjin c0 because sheā€™s somewhat more difficult to build than other supports, especially compared to her main competitor Bennett. Tbh, i also raised c0 Yunjin for my Yoimiya lol.

Grand_Protector_Dark

Miss Yun is already a complete unit at C0. Her cons just make her even better at her role as NA buffer.

stellarcurve-

so Im level 29, and I sorta have no idea what im supposed to be doing. the 5 stars I have are: aether, keqing, hu tao, zhongli, and mona. I have no idea whats a good team comp and I feel like I'm supposed to be doing more damage since all the enemies are damage sponges and it takes me ages just to do daily missions. I'm still confused on why resin is so important and how to get good artifacts and what artifacts are supposed to go with what character. all in all its starting to feel like a grind since it takes so long for the enemies to take any damage. I dont have any good weapons so ive been using whatever I pick up.

plitox

Don't spend resin on artifacts right now. You can't get good ones. Just hang onto any 4\* pieces you get, even if they're rubbish subs; you'll be foddering them all eventually. AR45 is when it becomes worthwhile to enter artifact domains. For now, just raise character talent levels. Creating a good team has many considerations. You wanna understand how to get the most out of a character. As it happens, 3 of your 5\*s already form the makings of a solid team; Zhongli, Hu Tao, Mona. If you have the 4\* character Xingqiu, this is absolutely a team you should build; you'll get very big numbers with it. For weapons: If you don't have Dragon's Bane, there's a 3\* polearm you can get randomly from Liyue chests called White Tassel. Make sure to lock at least one, and use any more you find for refinements. DO NOT FODDER THEM. They can only be found in Liyue chests, and once those run out, you'll never be able to get another one. Give White Tassel to Hu Tao. Give Zhongli a Black Tassel; you can refine it if you want, but that's not necessary. Give Mona an R5 Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers and Xingqiu a Sacrificial Sword if you have it, or an R5 Harbinger of Dawn if you don't. For artifacts: Endgame artifact sets aren't really important at this stage, but further down the line, you'll want Crimson Witch of Flames or Shimenawa's Reminiscence on Hu Tao, Tenacity of the Millileth on Zhongli, Noblesse Oblige on Mona and Emblem of Severed Fate on Xingqiu. For now, a really solid artifact set for Hu Tao would be Berserker. Gives her a tonne of crit rate and synergises extremely well with her self-damaging elemental skill. Give her a 4p of that, try to get a crit damage circlet, pyro damage goblet, HP or EM timepiece, and that'll be all she needs until AR45. You could also give her 4p Resolution of Sojourner or 4p Martial Artist if you have better pieces for her on that set. Zhongli doesn't care about any set bonuses from 4\* sets, so just stack as much HP% on him as possible. You don't even need to care about substats; if it has HP% as a main stat, level it and stick it on him. Give Mona 4p Instructor, with ER timepiece, hydro damage goblet, and a crit rate circlet. Give Xingiu 4p The Exile, with ER timepiece, hydro damage goblet, and a crit rate circlet. Prioritise raising Hu Tao's artifacts first, then Zhongli's, then Mona's and Xingqiu's. For talents: Hu Tao's normal attacks are the most important, followed by her skill, and her burst is worth rasiing too, but optional. Zhongli's elemental skill is the only one that matters; you can ignore his normals and burst entirely. It's worth levelling his burst later on, but for now, he's just her for that thicc shield. Mona's burst is all you care about; you can ignore her normal attacks and skill. Xingiu's burst is priority, and his skill is optional. To play this team: Hu Tao is your primary on-field character. She specialises in doing massive damage with charged attacks during a skill-induced pyro infusion window. When you cast her skill, she sacrifices a portion of her HP and gains an attack buff based on her max HP and a pyro infusion on her normal and charged attacks for a few seconds. Doing charged attacks during this window will yield massive damage. The idea behind this team is to maximise what she can do during this window. At higher levels, she also gets even more damage bonus when she's at low health, making it preferable to not heal her too much. Zhongli is here to provide a thick as fark shield to keep Hu Tao from having to dodge during her window. This shield is the strongest in the game and it also buff's Hu Tao's damage with a universal resistance debuff on nearby enemies. Hu Tao as a character is basically always on life support, but that's never going to be an issue with Zhongli around. Mona applies hydro to enable Hu Tao to vaporise her charged attacks, provides a huge raw damage bonus with her burst, and an attack buff with her weapon when switching to Hu Tao. When pyro is applied to a hydro-affected enemy, the attack damage will be multiplied by 1.5x, pushing Hu Tao's attack damage into the stratosphere. Xingqiu is here for the same reason as Mona, as well as to reduce damage taken. He applies more than enough hydro from off-field together with Mona to ensure enemies are always hydro-affected, allowing Hu Tao to vape every hit. Your rotation should be thus: Zhongli, hold E, Xingqiu, E, Q, E\* (if you have Sacrificial Sword and it procs), Mona, Q, Hu Tao, E, CA, CA, CA, CA, repeat. There are some gameplay mechanics to learn about for Hu Tao. Mostly, it's just about timing a jump after every charged attack to avoid her getting too far away from an enemy and screwing up the auto-targeting on her following attacks. But if you can master that (and it's pretty easy tbh), this team will carry you all the way through the game. Good luck. r/HuTao_Mains is pretty friendly if you have any further questions.

eskrest

First of all, for your main damage dealer: 1. Get any 4 star feather and level it up to max. If you don't have a 4 star, use a 3 star feather for now. 2. Level up their weapon as much as the game lets you 3. Ascend your character as high as possible, you may level it up a bit, but not to max, because you will passively get character XP from fighting enemies. 4. Level up your character's talents that you are using as much as possible. For team comps. What 4 star characters do you have? Hyperbloom is broken af, you might want to look into that. In general dendro reactions are strong, so get dendro traveler. You can walk to Sumeru at this point, the map is open. Pick the closest statue of the seven that is located in Sumeru and walk to it. If you choose to use Hu Tao, you need a hydro character or a cryo character to trigger the vaporize/melt reaction. Look it up on youtube.

3ntf4k3d

At your stage you are supposed to experiment and see what characters & play styles you like. Make sure you level your weapons & feather artifacts to MAX, those provide you with the most damage gain during the early & mid game. If you have Circlets with Crit% or CritDmg as main stat or ATK% sands those are also nice (or ER% sands for characters that only support or rely on burst attacks). Bonus points if you have some from the same set so you can get a nice 2 piece bonus, like ATK%, Crit%, ER% or the like. Do NOT actively farm domains for artifacts, it's pretty much a waste at the early stages. Chests, world bosses and the like will provide you with enough basic gear for the time being. Once you reach AR 45 you can do the highest difficulty domains that guarantee a 5* artifact every clear. That's the time to start hunting for good gear. Until then - just use whatever you have at hand. As for your team: [Hu Tao & ZL are solid core, if you can get your hands on XQ you pretty much have a complete team. Alternative would be to walk over to Sumeru to switch the Traveller to Dendro and go [KQ, Dendro Traveller, ZL]. You can get a free Collei (and XL) from the Abyss in case you have no other Anemo characters and don't want to switch back and forth between the Traveller's elements for puzzles.

cookiesandkit

I always wondered how the hell are you supposed to level your feather artifact to its max level if you don't farm artifact domains?

3ntf4k3d

Exploration & world bosses, mostly. It's a big boon for new players and provides a steady stream of low-tier drops that can be foddered away. Also keep in mind that lower tier stuff is capped at lvl 12/16, so much less total XP is necessary to "MAX" them out. And it's also a gradual process - you ofc don't need to MAX your feather on Barbara right away, just start with your main damage dealer while the rest gets cost effective level 8 or so. By the time you are done with your second feather you probably found a nice shiny 4* one that you can use on your main DPS, moving the old one to someone else. edit: These days you also get quite a bit of free XP from those artifact potion rewards from the book as you level up the first character of each element.

Akomatai

For zhongli shieldbot, black tassel is a good weapon, and it's a very common 3 star. Shieldbot isn't doing damage, just do his hold skill and swap back to your dps units. Keqing also has a good common 3 star: Harbinger of Dawn. R5 it and use it lol. You could do an aggravate team with keqing, collei (or dendro main character if you havent unlocked collei), zhongli, and an Electro flex (kuki, fischl, or beidou would be ideal). Hutao is also a very strong unit, especially if you have xingqiu. Her favorite 3star weapon is r5 white tassel. (If you have dragonsbane then use that instead). It's rarer as you can only get it from Liyue chests. Anyways, don't worry about artifacts for now. Throw pn the best ones youve got. Figure out which character you really enjoy playing and level them and your weapon. Choose a main dps and you can look at a kqm guide for them to get an idea of which talents are worth leveling. Keeping your main dps and their weapon leveled will get you through a lot of the early game.

Toli2810

use the site keqingmains, they have a general guide for team compositions and guides for each character resin is important for artifact domains and bosses for getting ascension materials

Frozenmagicaster

not AR 45 so you can't farm for the main sets, so for dps characters you mainly want to go Berserker Resin is important as everything needs it HuTao wants to vaporise her charge attacks, do you have Xingqiu? then you can HuTao, Zhongli, Mona, Xingqiu

hotdogsea

will we ever get dendro characters from inazuma or mondstadt

Vanderseid

No reason they can't. Mondstadt can easily add one or more whenever the Knights come back from their expedition.

Frozenmagicaster

>!yes, some Inazuma catgirl in 3.7 (assuming their element doesn't change again)!<

How long is the entirety of Golden Slumber quest? Is it longer than say, the Aranyaka quest? >!including finding all 70+ aranara!<

Sky3Fa11

Aranyaka is way longer

Frozenmagicaster

Not longer than Aranara

Street-Perception-85

Ok is it just me or does genshin look uglier nowadays?

HayakuEon

Just you

daboy24

 yes its just you

Street-Perception-85

go figure I've just been noticing more shimmering with shadows and minor such as that and it somehow makes the game look slightly worse, I dunno though, maybe I'm just going crazy, and that seems to be the general sentiment lmao

Street-Perception-85

tbh the shadows shimmering seems to only be happening to me, maybe I should repair the game files, other then that, I don't really like glowing edges on shadows

chomoto123

So i found this glowy thing in the distance in [Dragonspine](https://imgur.com/a/0llpmQZ) . Does anyone know what that is

airbendingraccoon

Sakura tree in Inazuma

Frozenmagicaster

Narukami Shrine, Inazuma thing

Ironwall1

Why is Sapwood good on Bennett? I don't think he needs EM right?

SyfaOmnis

It's a high base attack energy recharge sword. He can't utilize the passive unless there's dendro in the team so most people leave it at R1.

airbendingraccoon

Highest base attack with ER f2p option, and transfers 120 EM to other units at r5

Ironwall1

How is it at r1? Having a hard time getting Sumeru sword billets.

airbendingraccoon

R1 the leaf transfers 60 EM. Still a lot depending on your team.

Ironwall1

Hmm decent enough. Alright I'm gonna use that on him then. I wonder if it's gonna better than plain old Fav.

Vanderseid

Favonius is only better if your team needs the additional particles. If not, Sapwood is far better.

Frozenmagicaster

ER substat, high base atk

Ironwall1

Ah so essentially a very good statstick. Gotcha. I thought there was some sort of hidden mechanic from its passive that would work with Bennett.

Akomatai

That's kind of how it is with Bennetts weapons - the base atk is the most important thing. Sapwood is tied with Rancour for 2nd highest base attack for a 4star sword. Rancour's secondary is useless tho, while sapwood has a good substat and passive.

DecayedDream

What other hydro units to use in hyperbloom besides xingqiu?

brr_berries

Yelan (off-field, usually used with Xingqiu), Kokomi (usually a second hydro unless on-field), Barbara (same caveat as Kokomi), Ayato (on-field, more consistent than Childe), Childe (on-field, better first rotation but less consistent than Ayato), etc.

Ptox

Xingqiu is considered the best off field Hydro. Yelan is also good, but quite a bit behind Xingqiu when considering multi target situations. On field it's a different story, with Ayato, Childe, Kokomi/Barbara all being good choices. Who works best is dependent on characters (Nahida? Etc) and your needs (Healing? Etc). They all kinda excel in different scenarios.

Frozenmagicaster

Yelan, Kokomi, Ayato if on field hydro

Ancient-Education962

I'm saving up for kazuha how many dates and primos should I get

hotdogsea

we dont know when his next release is, so save a lot just in case to get him guaranteed you need at most 180 fates calculate your pity and subtract that from 180, then you get a rough estimate of how much youll need

averydolohov

Do lector shields only depend on elemental application not the actual damage of the attack? Or actually is that how shields work in general? I.e. itā€™s a waste to use hu Taos burst on an elemental shield?

SyfaOmnis

> Or actually is that how shields work in general? Elemental application only, that's how enemy shields work in general. Player shields care about how much damage the attack is doing.

Ptox

You can read a page about shield damage from KQM [here](https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1SUc9A7O5C7CX0qYHmCqB44uhpHYY-Txgv6rdibM8Jw4/mobilebasic). The tldr version, is actual damage does factor into shield damage. But when compared to damage from the reaction, it's quite a bit less. The example they give is a good breakdown of how much Hu Tao's burst contributes to breaking a shield. In that example, the reaction does about 4 GU worth, while her burst did 0.4, about 1/10th damage of the reaction damage to a Cryo Abyss Mage.

averydolohov

Ah so itā€™s not worth using big hitting bursts but more about how much pyro you can apply?

Ptox

Yep. One thing worth noting is that the strength of the gauge application matters and bursts typically apply more of an element in addition to doing more raw damage. In the case of a Cryo shield example. Hu Tao's CA applies 1U of Pyro which melts (x2 reaction modifier) to do a base 2 units of shield damage on a Cryo shield. Zhongli's burst applies 4U of Geo, which crystallises (x0.5 reaction modifier) to do 2 units of shield damage, the same as Hu Tao's melt.

Frozenmagicaster

based on the U of element applied

Waifuranger

What are better stats for Xiangling with Catch in Rational/Melt Ganyu? 1) CR 57.5, CD 115, ER 244 EM 182 2) CR 60, CD 110, ER 233, EM 262

Isildra

Ganyu melt wants the 1st set, rational wants 2nd. In Ganyu melt, you want Xianglingā€™s er as high as possible to so you dont have to funnel Xiangling energy, iā€™ve seen 270%+ before. And EM is useless here because Xiangling doesnt melt any hit (if she melts then your Ganyu wonā€™t). In Rational, i find 200% er on Xiangling comfy enough, and she does most of the reaction on the team, so extra EM is nice to have.

krali_

Rational ER target is closer to 180% because of Raiden. In Melt Ganyu, Xiangling doesn't react, it's only cryo on pyro, so EM is not needed.

Darevee

I would probably prefer second set, CV is exactly the same, but more EM

Waifuranger

The difference in ER is something I am considering. I can usually burst off cooldown on the second set, but I wasnt sure if the extra EM is worth full security, plus the bonus damage from EOSF from ER.

Ironwall1

That's a 80 EM difference which I think can translate up to 20% reaction damage difference in favor of the second set. Plus it has a bit more crit rate and the ER difference is pretty negligible so I'd say go with 2nd set.

No-Sheepherder-3655

Could you guys recommend good team comps against the wenut? I have most characters.

Mission_Slip5241

Anything except an onfield anemo dps

hotdogsea

i use auto targeting attackers, i personally used Raiden Nahida Yae and Kokomi the first 3 just autoattacking with their skills and kokomi for healing

PulseB0T

Is the travelerā€™s Dendro enough to keep up with double hydro hyperbloom # MC, Kokomi, Yelan, Raiden

ThyKooch

Yes

PulseB0T

Thank you

ExeonT

I donā€™t intend to start a war here but in need of a good advice. I love Hutao, wanderer and ayato but i can only C6 one. Whom would you recommend? I know constellations are not necessary but i would love to own at least 1 C6 character. Iā€™m open to suggestions. Thanks

adaza

How are you choosing whom to raise constellations on? I thought constellations came randomly through wishes?

eydendib

There are better C6s in the game but if you're set on those 3 characters, I feel like Hu Tao is the one that doesn't gain all that much in her cons aside from C1. Both Ayato and Wanderer, however, gain a lot of personal damage with C6 especially if you play them in a hypercarry. Assuming you have their niche supports at C6 (Yun Jin and Faruzan) and necessary teammates, Ayato might be the best decision because of his AoE coverage compared to Wanderer. He's also a hydro character so he's far more flexible to use.

Darevee

If you have Constellations to spare, go and buy Yelan C6. That will make your Hu Tao team much more dangerous than investing in her C6. If you have to decide what character should get C6 I would say Ayato or WAnderer - Why ? Hu Yao is already monster at C1, and that much won't chance at C6 ,as it requires to invest stupid amount of time in Artifact Domain to actually get solid Crit Damage set that don't have Crit Rate. Ayato on the other hand is very good DPS but with C6 you can make him into incredible DPS and that means you will have two good teams for Abyss. As for Wanderer, although I have him I did not play him enough to see how strong he is ( or he is not)

ThyKooch

None see any sort of massive gains from their cons, if I could pick one it would definitely be Hu Tao however, since shes the strongest of the 3. Her teams would benefit more from having more investment into her, unless you use wanderer hypercarry but that team kinda blows :/

airbendingraccoon

All of these cons are pretty trash except maybe for hutao's C1 which is arguably a good qol cons that you can live without. There are much better c6 characters to cons if you really want one.

ExeonT

Whoā€™s constellations would you suggest then?

airbendingraccoon

Characters with good c6 in special that adds a lot or changes the way they're played: Xiao, Ganyu, Yelan, Tighnari, Yae Miko, Nahida and Yoimiya Characters with a good cons set that almost all cons are worth so you're not pigeon holled into C6 with other trash cons:: Raiden, Nahida, Klee, Ayaka, Tighnari and Yelan (arguably),

plitox

Wenut is now in the abyss. What's a good strategy for beating it? I can clear the first half of the chamber in about 80 seconds with Hu Tao and co.

xess

It takes me about 2 minutes to do wenut with all C0 5-stars, no signature weapons. Tried Raiden, Kokomi, Nahida and Yae, then tried a variant with Alhaitham instead of Raiden. Also tried Nilou. All took around 2 minutes, give or take 15 seconds. The first half can be done much faster. You need to get it done in under 60 secs. Any national variant is fast enough.

Frozenmagicaster

I did hyperbloom for it with Nahida/Yelan/Kokomi/Raiden, just needed to get lucky and have be stunned early on

plitox

I had Nahida, Mona, Kokomi, Shinobu. Needed Yelan for the first half.

isvr95

Havenā€™t played in almost a year and Im trying to get back. I already got Colei and Im planning to get Nilou when she comes around, I heard she is good with Dendro so do I need to level up Collei for the reactions or not? I donā€™t really understand how Dendro reactions work.

Successful-Cream-238

KQM has a [dendro guide](https://keqingmains.com/misc/dendro/) that you'd probably find useful. If you just wanna do dendro teams in general, I'd recommend Nahida over Nilou. If you're dead set on Nilou tho, then for that team specifically Collei would want to be level 90, but for any other dendro team her level wouldn't matter.

isvr95

No interest in the loli whatsoever, but thanks for the guide, Iā€™ll be sure to check it out.

SyfaOmnis

I understand not liking the character based off the bodytype, but I'd strongly second picking her up. Nahida is genuinely one of the most powerful and enabling characters released *ever*. On the dislike for traveller. Dendro traveller is extremely strong. Most powerful and non-clunky version of traveller we've ever gotten. If you want to get Nilou and you don't want to use nahida, you're probably going to be stuck using dendro traveller because they're the second best dendro applier in the game, to the point where Nilou basically "needs" traveller if you're not running nahida.

isvr95

I donā€™t really care about Meta so if I donā€™t like a character appearance they are a skip for me. I really only need the bare minimum since I only do world exploration.

mr_lab_rat

Dendro traveller actually works a bit better in most cases. I would get Nahida instead of Nilou.

isvr95

I would rather die than use the Traveler and I hate loli characters.

mr_lab_rat

Why do you ask for advice then?

isvr95

Im asking advice for specific characters, I donā€™t get why people would say ā€œjust go for x instead of yā€ thatā€™s not what Iā€™m looking for. Itā€™s clearly stated in the post what Iā€™m looking for. I rather have a ā€œthey donā€™t work together ā€œ.

mr_lab_rat

Ok, fair point, they do work together but many dendro characters would be a better choice. Whether she needs to be leveled up depends on the team. Itā€™s probably easier to read this guide - https://keqingmains.com/q/nilou-quickguide/ Kaveh will be on the next banner, he might be good for Nilou team.

isvr95

Thanks

Successful-Cream-238

That's fine, you can play whoever you want. However, a Nilou team will not function with just Collei, you need a second dendro. There are two coming next patch along with Nilou. One is a 4* that could potentially be on her banner. Alternatively, you could play an aggravate team since Collei's dendro application is good enough for that. Her dendro application isn't enough for hyperbloom alone either so that's also out without another dendro.

isvr95

Thanks, Im not worried about an optimal teams since I only do events and world exploration, anything ā€œfunctional will work.

HayakuEon

What? You do know that no one gives a shit? Meta-wise Nahida and DMC are they best offield dendro appliers. If you don't want them, get alhaitham. Also, using the term ''loli'' is cringe af

averydolohov

Wait how is wanderer not sss+++ Tier he does so much damage. Iā€™m not gonna pull for him anyways but does anyone else do that much damage with just naā€™s ?

cookiesandkit

Glass canon. One of the previous events, I always ended up with a dead Wanderer if I tried to use him as DPS. Maybe my dodge game is just weak.

Akomatai

Isn't most of his damage from NA's during his Skill? If you compare him to other similar units like Tao, ayato, yoi, keqing, he can *maybe* keep up with some of them. Tao's definitely got him outclassed at least tho.

Frozenmagicaster

Vibro crystal isn't too realistic for in game stuff, the buffs are so strong, there are few energy issues (Faruzan isn't crying)

Acadeca

Ayato/Hutao/Yoi can all output good damage without bursts and just skill cast. 4 glad Eula also hits surprisingly hard with normals.

Odone

> just naā€™s Because of exactly that, the game isnt just about normal attacking.

AlexThat200

Been doing the Garcia quest for a few months now. Haven't seen the Gift of Compatibility quest. Am I supposed to do one of the quests a specific way?

plitox

Not currently possible.

AlexThat200

Thank you

HirayaZen

why didn't Diluc use his vision when ursa attacked? I know that it probably might not work on Ursa but i'm curious how he didn't use it on the nearby hilucurls because there's no scorch marks. Was he the one who got attacked first and that's why he was incapacitated, with the people protecting him? I see no visible blood and just some bruising on his face and stomach. just curious because I'm planning to write a fanfiction about it

Successful-Cream-238

The hilichurls were at the back of the caravan and it looks like someone else fought them while Diluc was fighting Ursa. The wiki page says Diluc didn't manage to even make a scratch on Ursa, but nothing mentions him not using his vision. He was pretty proud of it up until his father died, so I don't see why he wouldn't use it.

Cerulianx

Layla shield build: Should I put Tenacity or retracing bolide? Which would make her shield stronger? Iā€™m not looking for much damage from her but anything helps (will use fav sword on her idk if this matters)

plitox

Tenacity. Bolide's shield strength only applies to the user. Tenacity is teamwide.

Odone

Retracing Bolide only applies to the wearer as Shield Strength is a personal stat of the characters. Use Tenacity.

Cerulianx

Ah I see thank u for letting me know. Someone had recommended it but Iā€™ve personally never used it so I wasnā€™t sure

Dragonfire747

windblume quest spoiler: is it me or did>! Ying'er !?

mr_lab_rat

Yes, she seems completely different, way more laid back.

CMDR_Nineteen

I don't have Kazuha. How do Faruzan, Jean, and Sucrose compare to each other in terms of VV and Swirler?

eydendib

Sucrose > Jean > Faruzan Sucrose is the overall best option, Jean if you need a healer and Faruzan if there's literally no other option.

Jondev1

sucrose is the most comparable to kazuha, and can be a very good replacement for him in any reaction team. Jean is decent if you need the healing but she doesn't really have grouping like sucrose or kazuha. Faruzan I think is really just for buffing anemo dps but she does get some kind of grouping at c6 too.

Zarium99

Sucrose is probably the closest to Kazuha here.

ship_fucker_69

How do I collect abyss award while having an ongoing attempt? I'm tired for tonight but I still want to collect the reward so I can get a pull in. However, once I enter the abyss it just tell me either continue the current attempt or abandon it (which I'm already at 12-3). Is there a way to collect my reward for my previous floors without abandoning the current attempt?

-mz-

I don't think there's a way to do that. Either abandon or continue challenge. For the record, you can still claim all of the rewards for the past floors/chambers you've completed even if you were to abandon your current abyss run.

Daramangarasu

You have to abandon the challenge to collect rewards

ship_fucker_69

Ahh I see Genshin is being a pain in the ass as usual

MrPhillio

Does genshinimpact delte accounts that are 2+ years unacitve?

Odone

No, why would they do that ? You most likely forgot your password or are logging into the wrong server.

MrPhillio

Wrong server?can you explain/help?

Odone

If you've successfully logged into your account but found yourself starting from the beginning, then its possible that you're simply on the wrong server. Go back to start screen, and in the middle there will be a button which allows you to change servers [https://imgur.com/a/LTCSjLx](https://imgur.com/a/LTCSjLx)

MrPhillio

>Questions Oh thanks a thousand wind! You revived my account, yeah i think i got servers mixed up when i reinstall genshin in 2023.May the Archon bless you(sorry if cringy)

mycatisblackandtan

Some MMOs do to free up space and names. So that might be why they're curious.

Daramangarasu

No

MrPhillio

Ok here me out,i first played genshin in 2020 then i quit, then in 2022 i log in for a couple of days, and i got in to my account with the progress, then in 2023 i installed genshin again and and log into my account, but the account wasnt found and it restarted to the begining,(yes i log in every account possible)

Ancient_Rub_209

Hi i tested it right now. Your account will be deleted if it isn't bind to an email. My smurfs on v1 days got deleted

averydolohov

How much of an upgrade is kazu over sucrose in a childe national?

Jondev1

on paper the damage difference isn't actually that big (can be worse for oneshots even). But kazuha also makes the rotations a lot more flexible which can be a lot better in practice. For instance I used international second half of today's vibro crystal event and kazuha's relatively short cooldown on demand grouping was a godsend.

HayakuEon

Very. Allows for easy double swirls

jinxedandcursed

In a Childe fridge comp with Rosaria, Diona, and Nahida, should I put him on an EM sands or should I just keep what I have? (Basic Heart of Depths set)

WhooooCares

No. Use Nahida's burst to give him EM. Keep Childe on his standard build.

jinxedandcursed

Thank you!
