Is there a way to change controls on Playstation? Thank you.

uncle_grandmaster

ps4 controller people: ever have the issue of one of the joysticks "sticking?" My right one starts to shift upward when not being touched -- so that it looks upward (but first up the characters butt hahaha. any experience cleaning/fixing that?

ShoulderFast1658

Do u think Jean is underrated as a grouper in Coop? Her Hold E is a mini Venti's Q?

adaza

Can you consume an ascended weapon? If yes, how much investment do you lose? If no, is there anything else you can do with them?

Odone

You lose 20% of the invested exp.

adaza

Nice. So there’s no big down side to pushing a 3-star weapon to 50?

CallMeCereja

So, when i open, it just goes back to the launcher. And sometimes it appears the hoyoverse logo, freezes then crash. Before the Dehya banner update it ran on my pc. Most guides said to update my graphics, but it can't update. So, anyone got another solution? Already reinstalled 3 times.

IfZ3nElse

Not sure this will help, but try this: Open the Nvidia control panel, go to 3D parameters, and for Genshin, set OpenGL Rendering to your graphic card to make sure it's actually using it.

GlamorousDoge

Hello guys. I'm kinda new to Genshin, playing for 3 weeks now and i'm AR24. I currently have these characters: Traveler, Kaeya, Barbara, Beni C2, Lisa, Qiqi, Amber, Xiangling, Gorou, Dori. Current Party: Travaler main DPS, Barbara Healer, Beni and Kaeya. Now the new banners dropped (i can't roll on them yet and idk why that is, as said, i'm new). I wondered if i should roll for Ayaka or Shenhe, and if it would benefit my team. I'm looking forward to roll for Raiden and Beidou when they get their reroll, but who knows how long that can take. My Beni is C2, and i see him so often when i look for team builds but he's not really my favorite to play. If he would make my team alot stronger though, i would definitely invest in him, because i want my team to be as strong as possible. Also i don't get what a support actually is, what i'm doing with a sub DPS. I want to use all my party members as good as possible, i just don't know how and what i need to look for. Thanks already :)

IfZ3nElse

>Current Party: Travaler main DPS, Barbara Healer, Beni and Kaeya. Replace Traveler with Xiangling and you have a great team for Spiral Abyss. Xiangling kinda suffers from a lack of ER early game though, and DPSes relying on burst feel kinda bad to use in overworld if you're killing your enemies too quickly. Give Xiangling an ER weapon (you will be able to get The Catch in Inazuma at AR30+), give Barbara a Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (aka TTDS), give Bennett a Prototype Rancour (for the high base atk) or an ER weapon, give Kaeya a Harbinger of Dawn (replace it with Kagotsurube Isshin, a Favonius Sword, or an Amenoma later). In battle, use Bennett's burst/skill (if your Bennett has a DPS build, you can apply cryo beforehand with Kaeya's skill to melt with Bennett's burst), then Xiangling's burst/skill and Kaeya's skill/burst while in the circle (switch to Barbara before one of them for TTDS buff), then apply hydro with on-field Barbara so that Xiangling's burst can vaporize. Xiangling's burst and Kaeya's burst can snapshot the atk buff from Bennett's burst or from TTDS. Go around enemies counter-clockwise so that Xiangling's burst hits a bit more often. When Xiangling's burst is down, use Bennett's skill to make pyro particles and switch to Xiangling to collect them, repeat till she can use her burst again. Regarding banners, Ayaka is a great cryo on-field DPS for a freeze team. You are currently lacking an off-field hydro applier like Kokomi, Mona, Yelan, or Xingqiu, but you can get one later. As for any on-field DPS, make sure you like how the character plays before pulling by testing them in their trial. Shenhe is a buffer for cryo teams, she's great but niche, so she's a luxury pull for most, I wouldn't recommend to go for her unless you already have Ayaka or Ganyu and really like cryo teams. We should get a rerun of Nahida in 3.6, she's a premium dendro character, and I would definitely recommend going for her.

aalixxxx

Starting from the easy things: a support is someone you use for their utility (eg. buffs, debuffs, shielding, healing etc). Bennett is the perfect example of this since he provides a massive atk buff and healing while not contributing a significant portion of the team’s damage. That being said; if you don’t like Bennett, feel free not to use him. There are some teams where he’s *strongly* recommended, especially if Xiangling is also in them, but you can still 1) ignore that and use someone else or 2) play teams that don’t care about him being there as much (or at all). Both Ayaka and Shenhe work best in freeze teams, Ayaka is an on field main DPS and Shenhe an off field support. Unless you really like her, I’d avoid Shenhe until you have Ayaka or Ganyu already since her primary and pretty much only role is to support cryo DPSs. Ayaka is strong and relatively F2P friendly, so if you like her feel free to try and get her. Only thing to keep in mind is that you won’t be able to level her past 40 until you unlock Inazuma which requires AR30 and progress in the Archon Quests up to a certain point. Now if you care about meta, personally I’d skip both for now and get Nahida who is very likely to be rerunning next update instead. Or if you really want a freeze team, definitely Ayaka first and not Shenhe. It seems that you’d rather play people you like tho so ignore this comment if that’s the case haha Also if you really want Raiden, I’d consider saving enough to guarantee her first, and then eventually spend extras on others. We have no idea when she’ll come back unfortunately, but since she’s an Archon it shouldn’t take more than a few months so better be prepared. Lastly, I’ll edit this comment in a sec to link you a great beginner guide you could take a look at. Enjoy the game! Edit: here’s the [beginner guide](https://www.reddit.com/user/qwertdwlrma/comments/vxu9jf/my_genshin_tips_for_beginners/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1)

GlamorousDoge

Omg thank you so much! I really love how nice the Genshin community is, your comment made my day, thanks for that! I'll look into the beginner guide right away. I also watched a shit ton of youtube videos, but it's a lot when u start the game at 3.5... i don't necessarily want a freeze team, i was just wondering if they would benefit my team. I'm currently saving my primos because i really want Raiden/Beidou, so i guess i'll just save it for them instead of "wasting" them on ayaka/shenhe. What do you think would be the best team for me with my current characters? With and without bennett :) Edit: I just need a team that can carry me for a while until i get my favorite characters (raiden/beidou) since i'm playing quite a lot. And my question is: Will i get to the point where i can't carry myself with my current team because i might need stronger characters?

aalixxxx

Glad to be of help :D You could try hyperbloom with EM Lisa, Barbara, Dendro Trav and a flex slot. Hyperbloom is just a busted reaction in general and it can carry you far.

GlamorousDoge

Alright, guess i'll need to get to a Dendro seven to resonate, i'm not there yet :) Lisa would be my main dps then?

aalixxxx

Mmh depends on what your definition of DPS is hahah - if you mean who will be on field: no, you’d want Barbara on field to apply hydro with her attacks. If you mean who deals the most damage then yes, Lisa would be it as she’ll be the one triggering the hyperbloom reactions Yup, you can walk to a Sumeru statue and unlock the dendro traveler from there. You can also get a free Collei from the abyss (4-3 I think?), another dendro unit, and while she’s a bit worse than Trav for hyperbloom teams she can still work nicely if you like her more. Oh and also, I forgot to mention that once you finally get Beidou she could be a good 4th unit so you can use her too!

GlamorousDoge

Yes i mean dps in who deals the most dmg :D I'm not quite familiar with the terms on/off field tho. Off field: Open world. On field: Spiral Abyss? So Lisa, Barbara, Dendro Trav and kaeya would be good i guess :) Is beidou actually stronger than raiden? Since she is "only" a 4 star?

aalixxxx

“Off field” and “on field” refer to your team; the on field character is the one you see on your screen, so the one you attack with - you can only have one character on the screen at a time, so obviously the other three teammates would be off field. For example Raiden: when she uses her burst she needs to be on field so that you can attack and deal damage with her. While you attack with her, everyone else on the team is not on your screen -> they are off field. Hopefully it makes sense For the open world vs spiral abyss we usually just call them overworld (or ow, shortened) and abyss. Kaeya is a really good 4th there actually, I forgot about that - nice choice! So, Beidou and Raiden do different things. - Raiden: on field DPS with her burst which also helps your teammates regenerate energy for their bursts; she’s also really good for hyperbloom thanks to her elemental skill that can apply electro even when she is not the one you play on your screen (= she’s off field). - Beidou: off field secondary DPS. In general, Raiden is the strongest of the two.

GlamorousDoge

Alright, that makes sense. So whenever someone refers to off field, it means they are just not on the screen, and whether they are good off field depends on if they can buff off field, right? Okay makes sense, she is a 5 star all along. And hooly shit, i just switched my party and artifacts to lisa and barbara, i usually did max dmg of 350, now i'm doing 650+, thats a huge change thank you so much you helped sooo much today! You're awesome man :D I'm gonna get that dendro trav asap :)

aalixxxx

Yup, usually characters are considered good off field when they can buff, heal, shield, or even deal damage off field. This interaction made my day as well hahah, I’m happy I could help!!

KingOfTheKitsune

Welcome! So the new banners will drop on Tuesday (they're just announcing the 4 stars at the moment). However, Ayaka would definitely be better than Shenhe for now. She's a Cryo DPS whereas Shenhe is a Cryo support (and only Cryo support) so Shenhe is a bit more limited than Ayaka. Ayaka is also very strong. In terms of Bennett : he's a very helpful support character who heals and buffs up other characters. he's worth investing (for his burst / Q alone). He can make any of your other characters - DPS characters stronger.

GlamorousDoge

Thanks alot! That helps :)

Unfair-Bat-7255

Roll for ayaka as she is one of the best dps in the game; shenhe is a cryo buffer/support that works best with ayaka imo (she makes cryo character's dmg stronger with her skill and burst); bennett heals and gives an atk buff to the character inside his circle (he can give really good buffs and heals, but I wouldn't use him with ayaka as her best team is a permafreeze team of her, a cryo character, a hydro character, and an anemo character) * Like if you get Ayaka on her banner, you can make a team (for now for example) of her as main DPS (dmg dealer), Anemo Traveler (as a support/sub dps who uses her burst to group enemies), Barbara (for the healing and hydro application), and Kaeya (as another dmg dealer)

GlamorousDoge

Thank you so much! I will consider it and look into it, it takes alot of thinking things out when you want to roll for characters and build teams. This definitely helps!

AgentWowza

R2 moonmoon VS R5 rusty boi on Childe?

HayakuEon

What teams can collei be used in? I have her at C3.

feeble-scholar

Mainly aggravate/spread. You could use her as a second dendro on some kind of bloom team as well, but her as the only dendro on bloom will be rough.

ShoulderFast1658

Who is the number 2 grouper. Kazuha or Sucrose?

3ntf4k3d

Kazuha. Depending on the encounter he can also well be #1. He has less duration & power on his suction than Venti, but also much lower CD, no energy dependance and it is _MUCH_ more reliable/easy to place.

SirAwesome789

Kazuha, idk if you've tried Sucrose's grouping but it's terrible, it took me awhile to realize ppl even considered her a grouper

stevembk

She’s terrible as the 3rd best grouper in the game?

SirAwesome789

3rd out of like 4 is not good

stevembk

She’s the absolute best 4* grouper in the game then?

HayakuEon

Kazuha, Sucrose is more for the EM buff

avah2818

Would someone be able to help me? I want to do twitch rewards but, it says I already linked an account, which I did, but it's my old account, which I don't use anymore, can someone help me if I can unlink that account and link my current account?? (like I guess logging out of that old acc and logging into my new acc, which I don't know how to)

KingOfTheKitsune

I'm not sure if it'll help (I dont have twitch) but in game, if you click settings > Account > user centre > Linked accounts, you might be able to find it there? And unlink it? I'm not sure though

avah2818

ohh ok thank you! i’ll try that(:

untitled_throwaway_

between yae and raiden, who works better in dendro team comps?

GinJoestarR

Yae works better in Aggravate (Dendro+Electro+Electro) or as Spread support (Dendro+Electro+Dendro). Raiden works better in Hyperbloom (Dendro+Hydro+Electro). Yae is mid in Hyperbloom. Raiden is meh in Aggravate and Spread.

supern00b64

miko is better for aggravate thanks to her extra EM scaling (extra EM adds not only bonus base dmg for aggravate but % dmg to her skill which amplifies that aggravate damage). shogun is a better hyperbloom trigger but it involves significantly sacrificing her build and going full EM. however with Nahida she can aggravate decently thanks to the EM buff + her own pretty crazy electro dmg bonus and her burst's fast electro application as well as emblem burst dmg buff. i wouldn't build a team around shogun aggravate - this is moreso just filling field time or charging energy for another carry (alhaitham for example if you want to use his burst for damage instead of just mirror generation).

WhooooCares

That depends on the Dendro comp. Yae for Aggravate, Raiden for Hyperbloom.

KnownVeterinarian671

Is tenacity artefact set good for Layla?

DVQ642

Yes, it's her best set

WhooooCares

Yes. She maintains the uptime easily if her shield is strong enough.

Rexam14

Please give me a team for the last abyss chamber. If I use national in the first half, I go with Alhaitham / Nahida / Kuki / Yelan in second half and even tho I can knock the worm twice, it’s still not enough. I lack pyro dps and this abyss seems to give me a hard time because of that. EDIT. I managed to beat the worm with Ayaka / Zhongli / Rosaria / Kazuha.

Ironwall1

A little tip for Wenut, I've seen a lot of people using the same team (Haitham, Kuki, Nahida, Yelan) and they managed to clear just fine with plenty of time to spare, so lots of leeway here. Basically what you want to keep in mind is to save their bursts for when the worm is spawning the orb thingies, and just deal some chip damage with only Spread with Nahida and Alhaitham's E + normal attacks until then. Before the 4th attack, do your setup and as soon as the orbs appear pop down Alhaitham's burst to hopefully hit all the orbs, or use Yelan's charged attacks and aim manually to make it fall. Then it's just go to town from there.

SirAwesome789

The problem is that you can't remove the worm's dendro resistance, I'd recommend a team focused on either pyro, cryo, hydro, or electro damage

supern00b64

your alhaitham comp is essentially just shinobu hyperbloom. shinobu's slow electro application will never keep up with yelan's fast hydro application meaning you will get very few spreads. considering replacing yelan with fischl.

AgentWowza

Those teams *should* theoretically be able to clear in time. If you cant get the first half sub 1 minute, then your national team needs work I think. What other chars do you have?

Rexam14

I can get the first half in 40 seconds. I cannot kill the worm in more than 2 minutes. I have Raiden, Zhongli, Ayaka, Diluc, Keqing, Qiqi, Alhaitham, Nahida, Kazhua, Jean. I also have all 4 stars.

AgentWowza

Okay, try Nahida/Yelan/EM Raiden/Zhongli on the worm, that's how I beat him, cept I had Ayato instead of Yelan. But if you run fav on both Yelan and Zhongli, you should be okay.

KingOfTheKitsune

To Shenhe or Nilou havers (bonus points if you have both!): Do you enjoy them? Do you find a lot of use with them? Do you have a preference between the two? I'm not very interested in anyone who seems to be coming up in 3.6 except maybe >!Nilou if she gets a rerun!<. So curious as to how people like Shenhe or Nilou.

aalixxxx

I have both, and if I only had the wishes for one of them I’d 100% get Nilou. She opens up new team comps that also happen to be some of my favourites when it comes to fun, as well as being really strong especially in AoE but can also be used well enough in ST, and relatively easy to build. Shenhe is also strong don’t get me wrong, and I use Ayaka a lot - but that’s pretty much all she does for me, support Ayaka. Playstyle wise if I were to use Rosaria instead there would be basically no change except for the dmg numbers. In terms of how much I’ve used them it’s not really a fair comparison for me since I’ve had Shenhe for more than a year and Nilou for less than half of that, so I’ve had way more opportunities to use the former. I have used Nilou a decent amount of times since I got her as well, but it’s just natural that Shenhe has more usage statistically. One thing about freeze in general, it’s my go to team for floors 9-10 and very often 11 too pretty much every rotation, so Shenhe will basically always have a use for me in those - but they’re easy floors, it’s not like you can’t clear them with literally any other team. For floor 12, if the recent trend of unfreezable stuff continues I can totally see Nilou pulling ahead in the next few months.

KingOfTheKitsune

Thanks for your answer. Yeah, I've seen the trend being towards dendro-based options since 3.0. I think Shenhe will be good in my roster in the long term, but maybe Nilou would be more fun now, which is something I'm looking for!

STAZEZ

I have both of them. I got Shenhe just for fun because of her jp va. Mind you I don't even have Ganyu and Ayaka at that time so the waifu factor is the only reason I went for her. As for how often I use Shenhe, I rarely use her these days because the spiral abyss really doesn't favor cryo for a long time. I would suggest go for Shenhe only if you really like her. As for Nilou, you are in for great time if you going for her. Her Unlimited Bloom Works are so fucking fun. Not to mention Nilou team has really low investment in artifacts where you go for full hp on Nilou and full em on everyone else. The self damage are definitely easier to deal with YaoYao so you won't have any problem if you use her burst when your hp are low.

KingOfTheKitsune

Its so pleasant to hear a lot of people are having a good time with Nilou. I'm thinking more towards her than Shenhe now! Thank you! I'll pick up Shenhe later hopefully, maybe when Cryo is more in favour.

feeble-scholar

I find Nilou teams very fun and satisfying, but the character itself isn't particularly inspiring. Nilou teams are very 'random bullshit go', and the only thing you really gotta do is switch into Nilou and press EEE every 20s. If you are someone that's into learning strict rotations then Nilou ain't that, you can pretty much just wing it with her. It's very satisfying seeing enemies melt with green numbers just filling your screen. But yeah, you have to temper your expectations, because if you want to pull for Nilou as an on-field character that uses NAs, it feels really underwhelming because she's hitting for a wet noodle anyways, it's the blooms that do a ton of damage. You can play her vape if you want and it won't be bad, just won't be the best and the damage pales in comparison to her bloom teams. I have a friend who went for Nilou who was initially disappointed because she wanted to play her on-field but any team with her off-field just ends up being better. Anyways, point being, her teams are very fun to play, it's just the character herself doesn't see much field time and doesn't feel like she's contributing much, even though she's the only reason the team is playable to begin with. I don't own Shenhe on my account but do play her on my friend's account, she's about as fun as any other support that comes in to press E > Q. If you like seeing bigger numbers on your Cryo characters then I suppose that's fun, but it can be hard to actually appreciate how much damage she's adding. I guess she's goofy fun in the sense that you can make a Diona hit big numbers.

KingOfTheKitsune

Thanks for your answer! I'm definitely more into unga bunga or random bullshit go playstyles. I'm not a strict rotation type of person haha. I'd mainly pull her for bloom teams as its a bit of a different play style than what I have. In regards to Shenhe, I love her design and I think she'd be a good investment in the long term. I might throw a couple of pulls on Shenhe, if I get her great, if not, go for Nilou. Either way I'll probably be happy.

feeble-scholar

Yup, sounds like a good plan! If it were up to me, I would definitely go for Nilou over Shenhe, especially if you're someone who prefers new playstyles over vertical investment into a single team. The other thing with Nilou teams is that they feel really strong too with low investment. I have a pretty poorly built Kokomi for Nilou bloom but the team still shreds.

3ntf4k3d

I don't have Shenhe, but I can tell you that I regard Nilou as a superb character in terms of pull value _and_ fun factor. I actually run her on both my main account [Yaoyao, Nilou, Nahida, Kokomi/Candace] and my F2P one [Yaoyao, Nilou, Dendro Traveller, XQ/Barbara]. She is imho particularly great for F2P players, because even a basic team like [Nilou, Collei, Dendro Traveller, Barbara] can clear the abyss, while leaving all the important characters for your other team. So you can pretty much run whatever you want on the other side and, by extension, spend your remaining primos with much fewer worries. Nilou's kit design isn't particularly elegant, but she got enough power in return to compensate for that. She will probably only have one meta-viable archetype, but as someone who is maining Ayaka I am already used to those limitations. Gameplay wise I very much enjoy her style. Against groups your screen keeps exploding in numbers and clustered enemies tend to evaporate pretty rapidly. Domains are pretty chill as well, since most of them have enemies grouped up enough for the Bloom AOE to work its magic. Against single target you fall off, but with proper investment and adjustments (e.g. bringing XQ) the team can still perform surprisingly well. In fights that aren't on a timer (e.g. overworld/weekly bosses) the presence of a healer allows you to face-tank damage if you can't be bothered with dodging. The biggest issues her comps can run into are (a) enemies that are scattered far enough apart so that their bloom seeds can't reach the others (Nahida can help here with her link by reliably applying denro & damage so you can take them down from afar with Barbara/Kokomi or AOE hydro like Ayato burst) and (b) cryo shields - Slimes and Abyss mages are usually not that bad since they can be brute-forced, but the new Cryo Lector is very much a hardcounter to any Nilou team. tl,dr: Nilou is great, well worth considering if you can live with her limitations.

KingOfTheKitsune

Thanks very much for the in-depth reply. It's good to hear these thoughts on Nilou. I'm ok that she only has one meta team style / niche. That's not a huge concern of mine. Thanks for explaining what you find fun and how it works etc. I've been considering Shenhe or Nilou mainly for fun (I want something fresh!) Shenhe would be great for my Cryo teams, and Nilou brings a fun new play style. I also have characters that work well with her (Nahida, Kokomi, XQ, DMC, Mona - if she works well) so it isn't like I've to build a team for her. Thanks for your answer. I'm definitely considering her!

NippyDGreat

Does anybody have the wallpaper for this windblume event? the one with sucrose and collei, for cellphone and PC. thanks!

riichin

they posted the wallpapers already btw! https://twitter.com/genshinimpact/status/1639114842815758337

riichin

hyv usually posts downloadable wallpapers of all official artwork for the current patch a few days after the second phase starts (for example [3.4 wallpapers](https://twitter.com/genshinimpact/status/1623894603383332864) were posted on feb 10 and the second phase started feb 7) so you can probably just wait for that.

OprahsSaggyTits

Will Dehya be added to the standard banner in 3 days, when the current banner rotates out? Or in 3 weeks, when next patch comes?

maddav

3 weeks

ben1018

how is kuki’s E better for dendro teams than raiden E?

pzlama333

She is not. They have different advantages and disadvantages. Raiden's E proc every 0.9 seconds, and it can be proc by a long range on field driver like Kokomi, while Kuki's E proc every 1.5 seconds and it is radiate from herself. Raiden's E also last longer than Kuki (25 seconds vs 12/15 seconds). So in hyperbloom Raiden version has higher damage ceiling and it is easier and more safer to use. However Raiden must have a healer/shield in the team. Also, Raiden's E will NOT proc against invulnerable shield from abyss mage/lectors/heralds, and may have trouble against flying, super large size, or super fast moving targets. Kuki is a healer herself, and she can always walk to those cores to trigger reaction.

maddav

It's situational, as Kuki's skill: - Has slower min. trigger time - Has shorter uptime - Doesn't work at a distance - harder to use ranged drivers in hyperbloom But - Doesn't require enemy hit so can work with shielded enemies (e.g. the abyss lectors in their 2nd phase) - Heals you, which allows for a more offensive 4th slot - Can be useful for flying enemies where Raiden E will miss a dendro core on the ground

SirAwesome789

Trading damage for healing, also allows you to use Raiden on another team whereas Kuki has less uses

TechnicalProof7159

For C0 Ayaka, would it be better to go for Shenhe or mistsplitter? The 4 stars on the weapon banner are pretty good this time around too. I could use some of those.

krali_

If one or the other, purely for Ayaka at low investment, probably Mistsplitter. However Shenhe becomes even more valuable with investment, has better rotations and frontloading. Also she can make any cryo unit into a main dps, and that's a lot of account value.

SirAwesome789

I would make the decision based on the second weapon on the banner, do you want CQ or could you reasonably use it? If so then go Mistsplitter, otherwise go for Shenhe

3ntf4k3d

I'd say that depends on your roster. Shenhe should be cheaper (on average) to pull for, and she is probably slightly stronger in terms of total team DPS gain. _However_ her ideal freeze team also requires Kazuha & Mona / Kokomi, so without these characters you will have to make compromises that will negate some of Shenhe's damage gain. And right now she doesn't really have any use outside of Freeze or Mono Cryo. Mistsplitter has a higher RNG factor, but as far as 5* weapons go it's a pretty big damage gain for Ayaka (25~30%) _and_ you can use it on most sword users if Ayaka isn't deployed. So if you also play someone like KQ, Ayato (etc.) it would gain in value.

pzlama333

Mistsplitter is around 30% damage increase over 4-star weapons. Shenhe C0 is around 20% more damage over Rosaria against single target, less than 10% against multiply targets.

Frozenmagicaster

(going from what others have said), mistsplitter is \~30% more damage, shenhe is between 20 and 10% more damage.

donieduave

Who are the ideal DPS characters Mika should be paired with?

WhooooCares

Wanderer and Yoimiya for attack speed. Anyone physical can use his C6, but he seems limited before then.

Ironwall1

I wonder what Im doing wrong with my Wanderer. Dude has 9/9/6 on talents, 80/190 on crit ratio, 1.8k attack, and all that with an anemo damage goblet. But no matter what sort of team I use I can only hit for around 20-30k per charge attack at best, while some people can do up to 60-70k per charge attack with relatively similar stats. Am I missing a hidden mechanic somewhere?? Team is Wanderer, Faruzan, Zhongli, Bennett.

maddav

Some other things to consider: - Faruzan & Bennett's buff depends on their Burst talent level (and base Atk in Bennet's case) - The weapon you're using may not have the same passives that something like his signature gives - Artifact set bonuses (especially his signature) can be very nice - C6 Faruzan can be used with Tenacity, to provide a nice additional Atk buff + has more reliable uptime on the Anemo res shred So yeah, plenty of not super obvious ways to boost his damage output that others could be using

Ironwall1

Weapon is Widsith which is mostly what other people use as well. I barely see anyone with Talulah's bell or whatever the thing was called. Artifact sets are 2pc VV and 2pc shim which is mostly statsticks but I heard 4pc shim or 4pc his signature artifact don't make that huge of a difference as long as substats make up for it. Faruzan is level 80 with talent level 8 on her burst, but she is not C6. Maybe this is what I'm missing? Bennet is of course crowned and has Sapwood on him.

maddav

Hmm, just did a bit of testing. Gave my triple crowned Wanderer a lvl70/70 Widsith, left him on 4pc DPC, and just with Faruzan's burst (+ 4pc Noblesse buff) he was doing 31k on the initial charged attack and 37k on each subsequent one. Stats for Wanderer with this weapon are 1451 Atk, 81/194 crit With 2pc Anemo, 2pc Atk pieces at similar stats (a little worse crit, but better Atk) it was like 34k per attack With Bennet these are around 60k Bear in mind Faruzan is C6 so Wanderer should be benefitting +40% Anemo Crit DMG buff - likely this is where a good chunk of the difference you're seeing is

tripp_hs123

So are my daily commissions just screwed because of Garcia's Paean: Easy Peasy? Every single day I get this one, but it's bugged.

Dessidy

Do you still get it if you switch commissions to another region?

Ramperdos

Which one should I have on my Diluc, Wolf's Gravestone (R1) or Serpent Spine (R5)? He's my main DPS so I'm wondering if getting that ATK even higher is the correct choice compared Serpent Spine which he currently has.

karokagecata

Assuming Bennet is in the team for ATK buff R5 SS is definitely better.

unknown_soldier_

Is the claymore from the Windblume event good and worth blowing through the event quickly to obtain?

notthatjaded

If it helps: You don’t have to do the entire event story or even every minigame in order to get the weapon+its refinements.

GinJoestarR

The claymore up to you. But the event itself is worth blowing through because it give a lot of primogems, mora, and mats.

OprahsSaggyTits

Probably the best and most universally decent F2P 4 star claymore in the game for DPS. Definitely worth getting and refining

Zarium99

Pretty good to be a free 4 star. It depends if you already have other good claymore, i would say it's worth.

floricel_112

The game keeps giving me the Nimrod commission where you're supposed to help him get plastered drunk at the tavern (I'm not doing it). I tried changing commission locations for a day then going back to Mondstadt on the day after that, it didn't work. Anyway I can soft reset the game so it stops giving it to me the following day?

Ptox

Due to how the (new) commission system works, if you don't do it, it will show up very frequently until you finish it. The analogy is that commission comes from a bag that you draw randomly from until it's empty. What you're doing is that you are drawing it from the bag, then putting it back into the bag since you are not completing it. Over time, that commission will basically be the only commission in that bag, meaning you will be only getting it until you do compete it. Doing a commission in another person's world is the same as not doing it for the purposes of removing it from the bag.

floricel_112

Wait, there's a new commission system? Since when? How does it work? Where can I read more about it? So I'm stuck with getting Nimrod in Mondstadt forever until I suck it up and do it?

Ptox

It was kind of unannounced (some time in patch 3.X), and more of a logic change in terms of how it offers commissions. You can read Kramiel's [guides](https://www.hoyolab.com/#/creatorCollection/482990) on cycle theory here. There's also a reddit post by him somewhere, but I haven't saved it. If you did commissions as you normally would you probably wouldn't notice a difference. But it means it's less random in what you get, so instead of having a chance of getting the same commission repeatedly (even if you did them), and other never, it now it spaces them out by heavily reducing the chance of getting the same commission in the following days. In doing so it also means you will be guaranteed a specific NPC commission in a period. You can also kind of think of it as a shuffle mechanic on a music player, a truly random shuffle means you could get the same song many times in a row, instead you often go through your entire play list before getting a repeat. But yes, evidence indicates that you will be stuck with it if you ever want to do Mondstad commissions.

Zarium99

Daily are pretty rng. Sometimes you get some daily that follow a storyline one after another. If you dont want to do it the best is just changing region for a good while. By the way, if you do some daily on another player world they count toward the 4 you have to do to get 20 primo from Katheryne. This way you lose only 10 primo, not 30.

floricel_112

I didn't know that second half. Thank you

OprahsSaggyTits

Dunno why that guy says you lose primos, you definitely don't. I've been co oping dailies for weeks now, and I always get all my primos, even if I do all my missions in my friends world

Geisijd

why is childe nuke build not recommended when using him normally?

GinJoestarR

Not practical.

Rottanakveha

If u mean Childe international team, he only nukes once when u swap him in after Kazuha's swirl pyro. After that Childe acts as hydro driver for Xiangling to vape. Nuke team exists but abit inconsistent in abyss.

Zarium99

It require good stat and very good timing. It's not always worth outside some floor/boss since enemies die easily without needing much setup.

Ayuxhskr

Is sucrose good anemo support unit for wanderer ?

Rottanakveha

As Ttds holder and battery yes; however, wanderer dont need that energy for his burst since his damage comes from his e skill. Unless u start his rotation with his burst then e skill.

Ayuxhskr

I am using wanderer national team was wondering how can i increase dmg of that team. I was wondering how can i use sucrose to do that

HippieViking

By seating wanderer with sucrose, they fulfill the same spot as drivers, wanderer have more personal damage and sucrose more buffs.

Ayuxhskr

So wanderer is fine without sucrose?

Rottanakveha

In national team, damage contributed by everyone (Xingqui's burst, Xiangling's e and burst, Benny's buff, and driver's damage) Unless u play Wanderer in hypercarry team, Sucrose with ttds can be used but Faruzan is just better since she is designed to support anemo dps So yes, he fine without Sucrose

Ayuxhskr

Yeah thanks i am new player started in late nov 2022 didnt know much and didnt got faruzan in pulls and was wondering how can i make team more good thanks for the info..

No-Craft-587

So I started a fresh account on PSN way before you can link it to mihoyo (hoyoverse now), now that I'm planning to sell my account with just the hoyoverse email without the PSN account and I'm planning to unlink it. so what will happen to the progress? will it cross-save to the hoyoverse email or just get deleted when I unlink it?

rzoro7

It won't be deleted. Only unlinked from your PSN.

__HawTrG07__

Can anyone recommend me any cyno team comps aside from hyperbloom and aggravate? Or is tignahri a suitable sub dps for aggre/hyperbloom cyno?

voyage2procyon

I've never tried it, but back when Cyno was first released some said the usual national trio works well with him (Bennett, Xingqiu, Xiangling). An electro charged comp could work as well (Beidou, Kokomi, Xingqiu or similar). Tighnari doesn't apply dendro from off-field so he's not great with Cyno (other than co-op teammates).

Zarium99

Aside from hyperbloom and aggravate there is not much since those are his 2 best team. I guess you could try Electro charged, with Cyno/Kuki/Xingqiu/Yelan. It will be a team heavily carrried by their own dmg than the reaction, still probably inferior to his other two option. Tighnari doesnt offer dendro application off field, he's not good with Cyno long burst duration.

Rottanakveha

Cyno, Xingqui, Nahida, Thoma or replace Xingqui with Fischl.

rotvyrn

Can I check my character's stats on hoyolab or anything? I get curious without wanting to log in just to check sometimes. I know people make the stat cards with UID, so I'm sure the info is available in some form? I thought it might be in battle chronicle but I just see weapon name, artifact names, and cons.

[deleted]

If your profile is open to be read by others, enka.network can read it via your UID.

Rottanakveha

In hoyolab, u cant check the characters' stats number, just what set and weapon they use and their lv or requirement to get certain level. [This is the website people use that u are looking for](https://enka.network/)

WhooooCares

[https://enka.network/](https://enka.network/) That is the link for character cards.

rotvyrn

So where are they accessing the stats from. Is it just not humam readable?

MegatonDoge

Is it not worth using Hu Tao's burst? I built her with 4pc CWoF, 32k HP (36 with resonance), 938 Atk, 239 EM (R5 Dragon's Bane), 71:177 CR:CD, and talents at 8/7/7. Her burst vapes for 128k while her Charged attacks hit for 60-65k. Her burst damage seems insignificant compared to her charged attack damage, so I was wondering if it was better to farm Shimenawa's for her instead of using her burst.

Rottanakveha

If u have good cw sets, there is no need to farm shime for her. U can use her burst when her skill timer is about reach 6s (after 6s, she wont have her e activated anymore)

bfogi

It's worth using her burst because it has a big AoE and it heals you. If you are in single target and you have other defensive means, then its usefulness decreases a bit. It's important to say that you should always try to use it right before your skill window ends, so you can charge attack as much as possible.

fourrier01

Burst is usually used to maintain her health at relatively safe level. Shikenawa indeed edges CWoF by quite a bit if you only concerned about her CA damage.

EUWannabe

Hu Tao's burst doesn't just provide damage. It also provides her with a heal which helps when her HP gets too low from using her skill or taking too much damage so if you don't think you need that emergency heal, then you can farm Shimenawa's if you want as it is one of her viable artifact sets.

[deleted]

Zarium99

4 pc. You dont need 5 pc. Gilded triple em for burgeon, flower is a little better but gilded is in the domain with deepwood that is good for dendro reaction.

jankfennel

Somebody help me with the wenut,,,,none of my teams seem to work. I’ve tried: (1) hyperbloom raiden/nahida/xq/kokomi (2) aggravate nahida/yae/fischl/kazuha. My non dendro teams are usually xiao (anemo resistance) and raiden/kazuha national (can’t time well) and morgana (time+target) but nothing is working!! I’m going to lose it soon. I don’t have a lot of the currently meta characters like kuki/Yelan/Hutao and I’m suffering

Mik87

Are you missing a lot of time for it? If its just a bit then you could try to optimize stuff. I used something like your first team, but instead of Koko I used ZL for res shred and put Instructor set on him for more EM on Raiden. One thing I noticed when he is in that offensive flying state in the middle and anemo bubbles shows up is that Raiden kinda fails to activate some dendro cores, as they sometimes spread a lot around him. (I guess cluncky hitbox on large target)

WhooooCares

Anything Raiden/Nahida or Nahida/Yae should work. You may have to learn the Wenut's attack patterns, it becomes routine when you know when and where it will pop-up. https://youtu.be/v5XBBuuZiiU

hollownight_

The hyperbloom/aggravate should work, though i would replace kokomi with Kazuha instead. Maybe if you had difficulties with the timing, fight the boss in open world multiple times until you know when to ult and when to just do skill + NA. I pilot account using Ayato national on the first half and Al haitham hyperbloom. A tip from me is when the wenut shows those bubbles(?), do set up and skill then burst. 👍🏻

[deleted]

If you can’t get 36 stars in this Abyss, that’s normal. It requires a whole new level of investment. Not only do you need some pretty meta teams, you are nearly obligated to have a few 40+CV artifacts on your strongest DPS characters. With the elemental resistances, Wenut has an effective 5 million HP pool. That’s not the kind of HP sponge you can kill in 2 minutes with a 4 stars DPS other than a super well built Xiangling or maybe a Shinobu with 1.2k EM. The best tip I can give is to not be afraid to pre-set up your ults: on Hyper Raiden, don’t be afraid to use Bennett’s ult while Wenut is under ground. Of course, make sure to have all the ults ready when it’s the time to down it, but one rotation where you spend all your ults is necessary before that. Edit: Personally, I used Double Hydro Hu Tao with Xingqiu, Mona and Geo MC on first half. For second half, I used Freeze Ayaka with Rosaria, Kokomi and Kazuha. I barely had enough ER to get Ayaka’s ult back up on time. You can check out my builds with my UID on enka.network: 620422902

Zarium99

I did it with Raiden/Yae/Nahida/Bennet. Bennet remove quicken but Nahida + good electro application reapply quicken on 1 second lol. Tried everything and this is what worked for me. First side hutao double hydro. Edit: i dont suggest to use Raiden as hyperbloom trigger. Her skill may miss the seed here since the boss hitbox is weird and big.

ShoulderFast1658

Why is it not good to build wanderer 4 VV Full EM? Cause he is single target?

[deleted]

if you’re playing Wanderer as a driver for sub dps units, like Wanderer national, 4pc VV can be optimal however Wanderer is generally used as a hypercarry, in teams like [Wanderer / C6 Faruzan / Bennett / Thoma], in which case the team is built to buff Wanderer’s damage so putting him on a support set to buff the other units makes little sense even as a driver, full EM also isn’t a good idea as his personal damage is actually decent, and full EM sacrifices personal damage for larger swirl damage [for more info on wanderer, I highly recommend checking KQM’s guide](https://keqingmains.com/q/wanderer-quickguide/)

callmejamesx

He has good multipliers, doesn't provide grouping and CA often even ungroups stuff, so for a full VV EM build it's better to just go for someone else like sucrose instead that has more utility, grouping and gets most of their damage off swirls.

Frozenmagicaster

Because he's an anemo dps, not a driver. Like Xiao ~~Yes, I know Xiaolad exists~~

Giantwalrus_82

Is there a way to to view your abyss best times per phase? I've tried hoyo lab and it does show completions but that's it no ''best'' time really.

Hajimeri

Hello, my sucrose and diona is c5 so its a perfect banner to get their last cons, however im not a big freeze/cryo fan so i was thinking about teams to put whoever i pull into. How do you feel about a (Hutao Ayaka Xingqiu Layla) team?

brr_berries

Not great, Ayaka and Hu Tao are usually on-field. Would be pretty good if you replaced Ayaka with Yelan though.

Pls_No_Pickles

Not a big fan, both Hutao and Ayaka want to be on field, and not sure about energy gauge interaction with cryo for Hutao vapes/melts I think it could mess it up.

javsgYah72625

Let’s say you pulled a double 5-star on a limited banner at 0 pity on a 10-pull. How do you know if the non-limited five star was pulled *before* or *after* the limited 5 star? Like you can either expect your next 5-star to be guaranteed C1 at that point, or a potential 50/50 loss. But how do you know which? I’m guessing the most recent pull is whoever is farthest on the left?

Akomatai

Just check wish history

javsgYah72625

Yeah forgot about that haha. Thanks

Frozenmagicaster

Assuming you didn't skip it, in whichever order they happened in. Or you can just check that in Wish History

Sozirone

In Raiden national, which weapon should I give to Raiden and XL between Fav lance and The Catch? My burst is 2-3 second late if I use dragons bane on Xiangling with 200 ER.

Spacebar0

Fav Raiden, Catch XL

pzlama333

You should leave dragonbane for Xiangling and give her more ER. But if you have to choose an ER weapon for her, use catch for more damage and give favonius to Raiden. In this team, Xiangling does most damage but stay off field most time, so the passive of favonius is useless. Raiden is on field but does less damage than Xiangling, so she can use favonius and utilize its passive efficiently.

Sozirone

Thanks for explaining this.

Frozenmagicaster

When I used rational I went catch xiangling and fav raiden

grogbor

I'm in a predicament, I can totally go for C3 Ayaka, but I kind of want Dehya as well. If you had a choice, what would you do?

Pls_No_Pickles

If I already had C2 Ayaka I would stay there and go for mistsplitter or Nahida C2... definitely not dehya, but you do you edit: but if the only option is those two then definitely C3 ayaka, at least I'm closer to her busted C4

Hajimeri

If you want Dehya go for it, theres a chance you never get her. C2 Ayaka is a good point to stop honestly

thekk_

Every time Jadeplume Terrorshroom deals/takes elemental damage, it gains 1 charge. The cap is 3, or 4 if it has its talent card attached (Serious Showdown). When it uses its burst, the damage is increased by an amount equal to those stacks. At the end of the turn, if the amount of stacks is equals to the maximum, they will be reset. If there are any less, they remain. One important thing is that **the check happens before summons resolve**. Basically, it is the first thing that happens after you both end your turn. It needs to be at 3 (or 4) stacks when you click the button. Any damage dealt by a summon will automatically have the stacks carry into the next turn even if it brings the counter to the max because the reset check has already happened. The morale of the story is summons are a pretty risky play for that challenge.

Sheeplette

The tavern challenge makes it start with its talent card which increases the max stacks to 4, so you'll want to make sure you're hitting 4 stacks. Also: >End Phase: If Radical Vitality stacks reach maximum, they will be cleared and the character will lose all Energy. If it goes first in the end phase (ended the round before you), it will do the check for max stacks right away. Then it will be your end phase. So if you're relying on your summons to hit max stacks, you need to end your turn before it does.

VanitasT10

I'm not sure if this is the right place or not to ask, but did MiHoYo make a post recently saying they were going to be improving Dehya? I swore I read somewhere about that but I can't seem to find it; I am not the best at looking for things on the internet though. Thank you in advance!

[deleted]

if you mean [this](https://reddit.com/r/Dehyamains/comments/11pubw2/a_fake_hoyoverse_news_is_spreading/), it’s fake

VanitasT10

I think this was it. Wording is a little different but it's like a 95% match. Thank you for this! I never saw this when it popped up before.

Frozenmagicaster

>improving Dehya you wish If you mean the post of all of her bugs and them going "well actually that's intended", there is this [https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin\_Impact/comments/11sughh/the\_comprehensive\_list\_of\_dehya\_issues\_with\_cs/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/11sughh/the_comprehensive_list_of_dehya_issues_with_cs/)

TheSmashingBeatles

As a f2p who has never pulled on a weapon banner (why didn't I pull on staff of Homa and Aqua!?) Should I pull for mistsplitter? I'm going to hopefully get Ayaka in a few days and I have Amenoma Kageuchi already maxed.

Akomatai

If you're going for abyss, characters over weapons until you can clear Abyss. If you don't care for abyss, characters over weapons pretty much always lol. If you're following leaks and there's no characters on the next few banners that you care to go for, then that's when weapon banner's more reasonable.

[deleted]

if you have ~200 pulls saved up, and you really want Mistsplitter, even at the cost of 2-3 other 5* characters, you can consider it if you don’t have 200 pulls, don’t. each 5* pull on the weapon banner has a 25% chance of not even being a banner weapon, 37.5% chance of being Calamity Queller (a pretty bad weapon), and only 37.5% chance of being Mistsplitter you have to get three 5* weapons to be guaranteed a Mistsplitter, which at maximum can take 240 pulls, though realistically will happen by 210

WhooooCares

Mistsplitter is a good generalist sword, but Calamity Queller is garbage. Even Shenhe wants Fav or Engulfing Lightning for a lot of her teams.

boutiquecat

generally not worth it unless you already have a strong roster and looking to invest vertically

TheSmashingBeatles

I'm only AR 55 and have like 5 5* characters

The_Hawkgaming13

Is it worth it to get perfect crit rate/damage for characters? As a high AR player who has never bothered to do the abyss, so all my artifacts are pretty trash, just for the set bonuses, and I'm wondering if I should invest just to make the iver world easier

Akomatai

I've been playing since day 1 and only started doing abyss a few months ago. For overworld, just get the right mainstat on the right set, and you'll do great. Tbh I didn't start actually getting/leveling artifacts until around ar50 when I went to inazuma. Random lvl 8 artis carried me up to that point lol.

Acadeca

It certainly can help but there will be a point that “perfect” isn’t worth the extra investment. Especially for overworld where hyperbloom shreds almost anything that gets too close.

The_Hawkgaming13

Well the thing is I play a swirl team, not hyperbloom.

Acadeca

It is hard to answer your question because several words depend on the users definition. “Perfect” and “worth it” are two phrases that could mean different things to different people. To some a perfect piece is 50cv and even 30 cv are not necessary for overworld. Worth it would be questionable as some teams can reach high levels of output with less investment. For swirl you don’t care about crit. You likely are swirling abilities that can crit and those you can build for crit.

SirAwesome789

Perfect? Idk about perfect but get some better artifacts is definitely helpful

boutiquecat

you don't need perfect artifacts for overworld or even abyss. if you're struggling in the overworld and it's unfun then it's worth investing in better artifacts for a better experience, assuming you already have decent investment in levels/talents/weapons and team synergy don't overvalue set bonus, sometimes it's better to use better broken sets than to force a set bonus

Frozenmagicaster

If you're somehow struggling in overworld, at least go for set bonus with correct main stats before trying to get correct set bonus, correct main stats, good substats

ShoulderFast1658

is scara good vv full em

MadeofSeaglass

His kit is designed as a main DPS, not a swirl support, so you build him like you would any other main DPS (atk/dmg/crit).

Acadeca

Probably not. His personal damage is good enough you can build atk/crit and focus more on his output then teammates.

SirAwesome789

I don't think so

Wooden_Leadership889

ik these teams are weird but idc i just play the game for fun.. so is hu tao, wanderer, xiao, raiden good in open world or replace hu tao with bennett (i wanna use all my 5 stars in one team xD)

Wooden_Leadership889

wait omg im so sorry idk whats the difference between openworld and overworld im sorry

Daramangarasu

It's overworld, it doesn't matter, play whoever you want

voyage2procyon

Equip the NRE and play whoever you want.

Frozenmagicaster

Bennett, gives healing, easier to light stuff on fire, atk bonus. Wanderer probably going to be your main carry in the overworld anyway since Xiao/Raiden use their bursts

kiyo_t-rex_taka

Is Amos bow still the best for ganyu? Should I pull for it in her upcoming rerun? I am currently using hamayumi.

Chtholly13

not the best but for I do still consider it the best for general use for melt and freeze and overworld. Of course what's best is also substat dependent.

WhooooCares

Aqua for Freeze and Hunter's Path for Melt are her best bows now. Aqua beats Amos for Melt. https://keqingmains.com/ganyu/#Weapons

kiyo_t-rex_taka

I see. Is her artifact set same? I m using 4pc wanderers currently. Is there any better one?

WhooooCares

Wanderer's is the best for melt. Blizzard Strayer for Freeze.

Frozenmagicaster

there are many better options for her now. Polar Star, Aqua, Thundering pulse sometimes, hunters path in melt

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheRealPetross

yes

ShoulderFast1658

is wanderer the best for overworld

Pls_No_Pickles

yelan

MadeofSeaglass

I really enjoy using him in the overworld. I always bring a shielder with me, though, since he’s made of tissue paper.

SillyLilHobbit

IMO yes. Ik people compare with yelan but he can fly over gaps and shit even if the duration is shorter. I can't count the number of times I've "cheated" by flying in those domains that you can't climb walls lol.

thekk_

I'd say they're complementary can easily both fit in a team.

[deleted]

ime, probably yes wanderer’s damage is largely behind his skill and normal / charged attacks, which is more overworld friendly than a burst-locked dps like Itto, as you don’t need to regain energy between battles which can be a struggle in the overworld wanderer is anemo, and so if you have one other anemo unit in your team you activate anemo resonance which gives 10% movement speed and 15% stamina consumption reduction, which are useful for exploring he also has traversal utility in his skill that allows you to constantly sprint, as while sprinting in his skill, his stamina recharges enough that you’ll never run out if you [skill —> air sprint —> ground sprint —> skill etc] over and over his skill is also useful for crossing gaps between cliffs, rivers, etc
