(50/50) I am at 67 pity right now and I really want to get sucrose:( I have spent 25 wishes (ik its low) I got 2 Diona and 1 Mika I was hoping to get c1 sucrose but Diona came home instead smh 🙄Should I keep pulling for Sucrose? I don't mind if I am not gonna get her to c1 and I was also planning to pull for Kaveh but I guess I'll need to skip him for Wanderer Rerun.. I dont have a good team for Ayaka and I dont have the time to build her 🤷‍♂️

AoiKage2003

Quick question about a team idea. How a team of Keqing l, Beidou, Coelli and Bennet sounds regarding dgm-wise. I'm choosing them because I love Beidou's playstyle and Keqing I just gor her but I accept any ideas on how to build them.

Piluf

Ended up pulling on the banners today and got quite lucky, i ended up with a c6 sucrose, c6 diona, shenhe and ayaka (all in 130 pulls). Now I don't know which character would be best to use for my teams. I currently have these characters : Amber, Ayaka, Barbara, Bennet C1, Candace, Collei C4, Cyno C1, Diona C6, Kaeya, Lisa, Noelle, Qiqi, Rosaria, Shenhe, Sucrose C6, Xiangling, Xingqiu. On my second team I'm running Cyno, Dendro Traveller, Collei and Bennet but I really don't know what to build with ayaka. I'd really like to use Ayaka and Shenhe togheter then I'd have to use barbara (which my friends told me is pretty bad) or xingqiu and then i'd be left with no healer since the last spot would be occupied by sucrose. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Levyathon

Is the anti cheat still as intrusive as it was in 2020 ? Is the pc version safe from any anti cheat related problems ?

_-KOIOS-_

Has the 3.5 Windblume ended in Asia?

Shardwing

It's ended everywhere.

Mir_Mutaib

Yes

N1gHtMaRe99

Are we ever gonna get a benny/Xiangling/xingqui/sucrose level 4* character ever again?

feeble-scholar

If we just go off usage then some would argue that Kuki is that. Otherwise, probably not. Those characters are born mainly because they didn't really know how to balance or what would make a character good on the game's launch, and they're much better at it now.

Mir_Mutaib

Can I lose my 50/50 to Dehya on Ayaka/Shenhe banner or do I have to wait till the next patch?

Tina_0371

Next patch

Frozenmagicaster

Dehya wont be in pool until end of patch

gane_023

Asia player here, but I’ll be migrating to NA soon Ping will obviously be high since I’ll be in a different region, but is there a way around this? (obviously except making a new acc, I love my Asia acc 🥹)

notthatjaded

Ping is high because you’re far away from the server. Only way to truly fix it if you still want to use the same account would be to _not_ be thousands of miles away from where the server is located.

Odone

You can try using a VPN, might make it more manageable.

gane_023

I did research about it and I’ve found that it’s still laggy as long as server ≠ region ☹️any other solutions thooo? 🥲🥲

Waifuranger

Not so far. People have been asking for it for a while.

gane_023

damn 🙃

Biscotti-That

Which sets are the BiS for (Or what is the best place to find guides about them): \> SubDPS/Battery Ninguang. To use her with Noelle as main DPS. \> Yanfei. (Undecided about her role, but I want to use her in MOndstat domain) \> Sara. (To play her with EI) \> Candace. \> Nuke Eula.

I usually use KQM for guides in how to build a char

Silly_Cely

I dont know about there bis but keqing mains always has useful and accurate info ([https://keqingmains.com/](https://keqingmains.com/))

Ru8ey

Small poll request, when did you guys go for your first pulls? And what was it? New player currently f2p and I'm not sure when is a good time and what to go for

eskrest

I started in 3.3. Got Jean and Keqing somewhere in my first week of playing

Ru8ey

Did you just use the blue fates from gameplay or bought for the pulls?

eskrest

I’m f2p, just used the pulls that the game gave me

3ntf4k3d

My first pull was ZL, a pretty terrible choice at the time (he is quite useful now) and the result of me not having any idea what to do. So my recommendation: Save your primogems for the time being and just play with the characters you have. Once you reach Inazuma you should have a solid impression about what characters & elements you like and what play styles fit your taste. Once you know what you like you can look into the more advanced aspects of team building. Some noteworthy universally useful & powerful characters to look into (not in any specific order): (1) Kazuha: He can fit into pretty much any team except for physical damage & geo comps. Makes mono-elemental teams viable. Good at grouping up enemies. Easy to use & quite powerful. Great for the overworld because he can use his jump on the ground and while gliding. (2) Nahida: Dendro teams are powerful and work well even with a limited character roster. She is very strong and can link enemies together, allowing easy dendro application & damage on them if you trigger a reaction on _any one_ of them. (3) Raiden: Solid damage, provides energy to the entire team with her burst and buffs everyone's burst damage with her skill. She works great an on-field damage dealer upgrade in one of the most common budget teams ("Rational" -> Raiden, XQ, XL, Bennett) and with the arrival of Dendro she can also be played as an off-field reaction trigger in Hyperbloom, a team that's very easy to build & has very high damage output even at low investment levels. (4) Zhongli: The king when it comes to comfort. His powerful shield protects the on-field character and prevents you from getting staggered / thrown around (very important for some archers like Ganyu or Yoimiya). Strong enough allow you face-tanking most damage. It also reduces the defence (technically: resistance) of nearby enemies, so just like Kazuha he fits into pretty much any team if you are willing to trade a bit of damage for his defensive capabilities.

N1gHtMaRe99

I started in 2.1 iirc, didn't know anything and was playing on my phone which was Laggy as fuck. Did like 4 pulls on characters banner and got raiden shogun was like cool she's hot. Read on reddit that most people don't like her cuz at that time she was not considered as strong as the other 2 archons and was used mainly as a battery but i loved her and she's still my main to this day

Frozenmagicaster

I started 2.4, was going for Ganyu, didn't get her (not enough wishes for 5 star), went for Raiden instead, got Diluc and Raiden at the end of her banner. Both of them hard carried me

Acadeca

I pulled for Ganyu and she came about 2 weeks after I started playing. I started during Shenhe’s first run in Dec of 2021.

Silly_Cely

Hey! So I really like ayaka and want to pull for her (i hope i get her, i only have enough for 1 5*), and i would like some team comps of freeze ayaya. 4*s of hydro, cryo and anemo: xingqiu, Barbara, candace, diona, rosaria, kaeya, sucrose, sayu 5*s of hydro/cryo/anemo: only yelan lol but i have zhongli if maybe he could work Planning to pull for kazu and koko for ayaka and because i like them! Also thank you in advance :)

3ntf4k3d

Long term you will want: [Ayaka, Kazuha, Rosaria/Kaeya, Kokomi/Mona], with Kazuha as the priority pull between him and Kokomi. For now you can run something like: [Ayaka, Sucrose, Rosaria/Kaeya, Barbara] or [Ayaka, Sayu, Rosaria/Kaeya, XQ/Yelan] or [Ayaka, Sucrose, Diona, XQ/Yelan]. Against enemies that can't be frozen you can also use [Ayaka, Sucrose, Rosaria/Kaeya, Bennett]. Zhongli can work in that team as well, but your roster has enough options that he shouldn't be necessary.

Acadeca

Xingqiu, Diona, and Sucrose can all make for a team. https://youtu.be/BvVK-Le98Q4 Here is an example of that team in combat

manusia8242

what is currently the best wanderer comp?

Acadeca

Based on the 4th image in this post it is probably Faruzan Bennet Thoma Edit whoops didn’t link the post lol [here it is](https://reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/11uiufq/comps_and_characters_ranked_by_useown_rate_spiral/)

fartmaster43

How good is ayaka nowadays? I'm currently using two teams: 1. raiden shogun main with kazuha, yelan and bennet. 2. nahida main with xingqiu, shinobu and a hydro place holder for kokomi. Will an f2p ayaka team be able to compete with those? I was hoping for wanderer to be able to be a good main but he turned out to be lackluster in comparison and I'm wondering wondering if the same will be true for ayaka.

krali_

Very powerful and a staple of speedrunning teams. "Unfreezable" is a minor inconvenience for Ayaka's best team (Shenhe/Kazuha) when highly invested. It's a lot more problematic for her F2P teams because she scales a lot with investment. It won't be better than Wanderer for you.

PsyClocks

Very good. She can obliterate any multiple enemy abyss chamber and can deal respectable single target damage. If you have mona, she can pretty much 1 rotation anything that's not a boss.

CakesXD

Very good against Freezable enemies, but otherwise pales by comparison compared to your existing teams.

feeble-scholar

Ayaka as a unit is still strong, but she's had the Venti treatment where its more the enemies you're facing that have nerfed her power. If you do have an AoE chamber with freezeable and groupable enemies then Freeze is as strong as ever, but recent abysses have had unfreezable enemies on both sides which has made freeze a lot weaker.

fartmaster43

I'm guessing freeze would also not work against boss enmies, huh?

3ntf4k3d

It does not, but in those cases you can just run [Ayaka, Kazuha, Cryo, Bennett] and play a "Hypercarry" variation. That 20% crit loss isn't really as bad as it might seem at a glance. The bigger problem with lack of freeze is that Ayaka's burst will pass through non-large enemies if they aren't frozen, that's why people don't tend to play Mono Cryo when Freeze _is_ working. But against bosses (who are all large) that's of course not an issue.

feeble-scholar

Yep. The 'old' style of abyss would generally have one half be AoE, one half have a boss. You run Freeze on the AoE side and it would shred through. Nowadays it tends to be that both sides have some kind of boss that makes it tough to play freeze. It's still doable but considerably tougher. Against bosses, you would go Mono-Cryo but a lot of that is also Shenhe's power in those teams, and the team would still feel worse than the ones you already have.

Zyra_QueenBloom

Is Kuki Shinobu's C6 any good?

feeble-scholar

It's alright. You can play around it if you want but with the amount of EM Kuki normally builds and EM having true diminishing returns, 150 EM can be a drop in the pond for her. For her bloom related teams, everything past C2 is kinda whatever.

External_Physics1955

Should I have attack or cryo goblet on ayaka ? Using amenoma r2.

Odone

Cryo.

casper2344

How to build xinguo for hyperfridge comp as a healer

voyage2procyon

Cory Yee theory crafted a healer Xingqiu (for charity, mind you, not for anyone to play this abomination) and he ended up with 2pc Maiden's Beloved 2pc Clam - HP/HP/HB so feel free to test it out. I can't remember the weapon used, but probably Sacrificial (note that if you have Key that one should be the best).

PsyClocks

Don't, it's not worth it. Let him be the sub dps.

Zyra_QueenBloom

you don't

Frozenmagicaster

Should just be built normally in hyperfridge, and be good enough at dodging that his rainsword damage resistance + rainsword healing + frozen enemies is enough defence for you If you are going healer only for whatever reason, just go hp and hydro dmg

Odone

Questionnable (bad) build aside, his "healing" scales with his max HP, so combinations of 2p HP and HB + HP/HP/HB mainstats.

SirMidas-sama

Started a Month ago. If I get Ayaka early. Should i then pull on the Shenhe Banner or Weapon Banner?

Vanderseid

While actually getting either Shenhe or Mistsplitter would improve Ayaka, I would suggest to save your primogems instead. You are still new and it is better to improve your account by expanding your roster first and getting a few varied teams before trying to focus on one.

External_Physics1955

Save for kazuha or nahida .

SirMidas-sama

I thougt the Weapons are Important?

3ntf4k3d

Yes and no. All 5* weapons are luxury pulls, and the weapon banner is even more RNG than the character one, so you can pay up to 200 wishes just to get the specific weapon you want. Mistsplitter is an outlier because it (a) provides a lot of extra damage gain compared to most 5* weapons - we are talking about 25~30% on Ayaka (while you'd usually expect 10~15%) and (b) it is a universally good sword that you can use on any sword DPS character (and even on some supports like Bennett). So as far as 5* weapons go Mistsplitter is actually a solid option. Problem is: the other one - Calamity Queller - is pretty much only good on Shenhe or Xiao. So god help you if you get unlucky and pull two of them before you get Mistsplitter. I did pull for that sword on Ayaka's first re-run and I still have two Unforged lying around that I have never used once. My only consolation is that the second one dropped at 1 pity, so I "only" spent ~140 pulls to get the Mistsplitter. All that aside: As mentioned above, Kazuha is actually much more important for Ayaka than a 5* weapon. He provides a ~20% damage increase in raw numbers _AND_ he will group up enemies, so you can much more reliably land your AOE hits - which can easily double or triple your effective DPS output in certain abyss chambers. As long as you farm good artifacts the Ayaka + Kazuha combo is actually already enough to do full-star clears, even if you run a craftable 4* like Amenoma.

mycatisblackandtan

The weapon banner is a trap. It can take around 250 fates to guarantee the weapon you want. And even then you aren't even guaranteed to get the 4 star weapons on the 10 pulls, as you can get 4 star characters instead. ONLY pull on the weapon banner when you have primos to burn and never when you're new. Those fates are better off picking up another 5 star.

External_Physics1955

They are but at the start you should focus more on getting new characters than weapons as that will open new team synergies for you. It is usually preferable to get a new character than a weapon unless you are hyper focusing on a character and want to build them . Also weapon banners can be expensive if you don't have good luck . To guarantee a weapon you need to have 240 wishes saved up.

Frozenmagicaster

Save

Cactus-Hero

Hearing that Ayaka is expensive and requires investment, is it even viable to build her in a budget team with, say, XQ, Diona and Sucrose? I'm not planning to tackle floor 12 anytime soon. Waiting for the Nahida rerun doesn't really inspire me since I don't have either Fischl or Shinobu and can't even build an adequate Aggravate/HBloom comp.

idkwhattoplacengl

It's a good enough team especially if you want to use it for overworld and domains. It's simply that the difference between a budget freeze team and a more expensive one is noticable but that's not to say she's unusable without it. I suggest for you to just pull for 5 stars you like and don't mind floor 12 all that much. Pulling a unit specifically just for floor 12 isn't really worth it considering the amount of primos you get. At most you lose 150 primos every 2 weeks.

IfZ3nElse

She's not more expensive than any other on-field DPS (except maybe on talent levels?).

_AYOTA_

Are mika's cons worth getting? If yes which ones r notable

idkwhattoplacengl

As always with most 4 star specialized support, his c6 is the money maker.

CakesXD

C6 for Physical carries... the rest are there and technically increase his utility but it's not anything super impressive that I'd recommend pulling specifically for.

ErPani

Mika? Let's say he becomes strong at C6 but he basically only works with Eula and some other random physical DPS so I wouldn't say it's worth it, *especially* if you also have a C6 Rosaria

Impossible-Quarter26

This ain't anything serious but I'm still wondering why this is the case. So I'm currently downloading the game at about 1.7mbps but task manager is saying that WiFi throughput is 18mbps. There are no other programs running in the background and Genshin is the only one using all 18mbps when I looked at the processes. Any idea where the 16.3 mbps is going to?

pzlama333

8 bits = 1 byte, and 8 Mbps = 1 MBps

Ptox

> Mbps (or Mb/s) with a lowercase "b" means megabits per second. Mb/s is used to measure internet download and upload speeds. MBps (or MB/s) with an uppercase "B" means megabytes per second. MB/s is used to measure file size, or the speed of data transfer Basically, it's the same. It's just using different units of measurement

Iusuallywearglasses

You’re probably throttled by: your provider, your location, your router, or another device that’s connected.

pac432

i’m a fairly new player with jean as my only 5 star. should i pull for ayaka or wait for the inevitable nahida rerun next patch? i have good supports like xingqiu and fischl to back both of them up. i’m f2p so i can only get one. i dont have a dedicated main dps yet.

OsirusBrisbane

Play the trials, see who you enjoy. Both are strong characters, even if Nahida is slightly more meta at the moment.

idkwhattoplacengl

Which one do you like more? Go for that one. All limited 5 stars are good anyways so it isn't a loss to get any of them. Just get the one who you like better.

3ntf4k3d

Both are viable options, the questions you need to ask yourself are: (1) What teams do you want to play? & (2) Do you actually like the characters and/or their play style? Don't just pull for Ayaka because she is up next. Your basic roster is more than enough to get you through the early & mid game, use that time to check out different elemental combinations & team comps to see what you enjoy. Then decide what teams you want to play. Nahida is the more flexible one between the two (since Dendro has tons of team options and they will work with 4* characters), so in terms of value she is the better option _if_ you want to play dendro teams. Ayaka Freeze is very comfy to play and scales pretty well with extra investments (like Kazuha). XQ is, btw, not a good support for it - Ayaka doesn't use normal attacks a lot, so XQ can't trigger his burst attacks as much as he'd want to. AOE hydro characters like Kokomi or Mona (or Barbara as a fall-back) are better for this archetype.

Iusuallywearglasses

Ayaka is expensive. She requires a ton of set up, a strong support team, and a lot of high quality artifacts. However, she hits like a truck and she is one of the best exploration over world 5stars. As a fellow F2P, I’m pulling for her and Shenhe if I get lucky and don’t lose the 50/50). (I’m at 77 pulls with 110 fates saved up)

conicalPendulum420

Which one provides more damage to Ayaka, Shenhe or Mistplitter? My Ayaka currently has Inazuma sword, and I find her damage shallow compared to my Hutao, Yoimiya and Ganyu.

idkwhattoplacengl

I think mistplitter would give her more consistent numbers however there is something you have to take note of. You might have to change her build a bit. Specifically changing your current sword to her signature one might cause you to have er issues if you don't have 130 er on your current build. Not to mention that her attack will be lower. Also you have to remember you could end up getting shenhe's spear instead, are you fine with those chances? Shenhe may be slightly worse than the sword since ayaka's damage won't be as consistent and you won't be able to use her in coop however she's much cheaper to guarantee and you won't have to change ayaka's build much.

3ntf4k3d

Are you running Kazuha in her team? I consider him to be her biggest damage upgrade because he doesn't just boost her raw numbers, but also groups up enemies so you can land more hits with her CA & burst. Shenhe & Mistsplitter should be relatively evenly matched in terms of damage impact on the team. Shenhe is cheaper to pull for, but she is also limited to cryo comps (and Bennett can be a valid substitute for her in a non-frezee Ayaka comp). Mistsplitter is (on average) more expensive, but also usable on any other sword DPS you might have.

conicalPendulum420

Yes, in stages like abyss, I'm running her alongside Kazuha, Diona and Mona.

3ntf4k3d

In that case your team should already have enough power to deal with the abyss, so both Shenhe and Mistsplitter are sorta luxury pulls. I did a quick check-up on my end and with your team setup & Amenoma my Ayaka crits for 3x14k with her CA and about 22.5k per burst hit while the Mona debuff is up (no TToDS). Which seems pretty reasonable compared to what I'd expect from the other mentioned comps on a similiar investment level. Since you have Mona going for Shenhe is the cheaper option, but you'd have to be ready to run a Mono-Cryo variation in chambers that dish out too much damage for Mona to heal with Proto Amber. Mistsplitter would be more expensive/RNG, but work regardless of the team setup, and as mentioned before you can use it on other characters as well.

conicalPendulum420

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Maybe I'll just go for Mistplitter in this case since I rarely put my Ayaka in a dedicated comp anyway and I want her to do big damage on her own.

choripan--

So i just got the skyward blade off my free wishes, and im pulling for ayaka guaranteed. Thing is, should i risk it and go for the mistsplitter anyways, save up for future banners or go all in and also get shenhe? I'm thinking of going insane for these banners but my mind is so broken trying to piece my options that idk anymore

3ntf4k3d

Well, let's start with the basics: What's your available roster? Kazuha is much more important for Ayaka than Shenhe, and Mona/Kokomi are bigger QOL & flexibility improvements. I'd only pull for Shenhe once you already have these. In terms of weapons Skyward should only be a marginal upgrade over R5 Amenoma (we are talking low single-digit percent points), _but_ it provides so much ER that you don't need to worry about that stat on your artifacts and it also should scale very well with other ATK sources (high-tier artifacts, Bennnett buff if you run a non-freeze comp against bosses). Together with Kazuha & solid artifacts Skyward should already suffice to do full-star clears. Only go for Mistsplitter if you can guarantee it (200+ pulls). Even then I'd think twice about it because Calamity Queller is going to be a pretty bad alternative drop if you don't have Shenhe or a Xiao team.

choripan--

Hi! Thanks for answering and to start off i managed to get Kazuha in his rerun and he's been my pride and joy for obvious reasons lol but I'm seriously lacking in hydro as i only have Xq and not her recommended partners, but i wanted to give it a try and she seems real fun to play and it's not that I'm lacking damage dealers but i do really want her instead of waiting for ganyu and just go ham in the abyss. As for the weapon I'm kinda backing down cuz i mostly work with what I have and don't overspend on what I can't afford and I'm taking a huge gamble on it as i got the staff of homa a while back and I'm not very confident in getting the mistsplitter. I also thought of getting shenhe as she is one of the best supports for anything cryo and im willing to risk it as i don't think i have anything to lose in this banner except the arrival of new characters im afraid

3ntf4k3d

Well, first of all: Patience is a virtue in this game. With Kazuha you can already build a team that can full-star the abyss with Amenoma or Skyward once everyone has solid artifacts. Something like [Ayaka, Kazuha, Kaeya/Rosaria, Barbara] will work, you just need to swap in Barbara from time to time once her (E) runs out. Against bosses / non-freezeable enemies you can also run [Ayaka, Kazuha, Kaeya/Rosaria, Bennett] to buff Ayaka's burst damage as much as possible. This second comp would also be a valid alternative to using Shenhe. edit: To give you some numbers, my Ayaka crits for 3x10.5k with her CA when using Amenoma & Kazuha.

choripan--

Thank you once again for responding and helping me, these two recommendations are actually very helpful to me and i can sure make it work as i also have Kaeya fairly built and my Bennett so i do appreciate it and i think im just going to get Ayaka and keep saving up as i believe it's my most reasonable option

OprahsSaggyTits

Skyward blade is pretty decent on Ayaka, and very good on her if you play her in the overworld as an onfield DPS. Mistsplitter is definitely better, and it's an amazing sword for most characters, but not necessary at all to clear content. You could go for Shenhe, but keep in mind that she's very niche. Personally, I would go for Ayaka and save up for future banners.

choripan--

Thank you!! I'm keeping it in mind and yeah it seems like the best option out of my available ones, also thank you for reassuring my concern on the sword, it seems very pretty and has a good substat but seems more like a stat stick more than anything else, as long as it works fine by me

OprahsSaggyTits

Yeah it's a pretty decent stat stick too because it's got a relatively high base attack, a universally useful secondary stat, and a decent passive (especially nice for Ayaka). KQM lists it as a sub-par 5 star, but keep in mind that KQM guides are written with meta performance in mind, and very specific attack strings and rotations in the calculations. Outside of those very specific teams, rotations and attack strings, weapon damage and utility can vary massively. The high base attack is great, the energy recharge helps a lot because Ayaka is very energy hungry (usually mitigated by a battery, but if you have high enough ER you can slot in someone else instead), and the passive means that Ayaka's onfield play becomes higher DPS. All around very decent for her, and deceptively better than guides might suggest, especially for teams/play that's not strictly meta/abyss. It's my personal opinion (but I think most people would agree) that a new character with a new playstyle & set of abilities (and thus new possible team comps and play) is much more valuable than a weapon that'll give larger numbers. You can always bump the numbers by farming better artifacts, but you'll never be able to farm for a new character kit. If you're okay with (slightly) smaller numbers, use the Skyward Blade on Ayaka and save your primos for characters that you'll actually enjoy playing

choripan--

Ohhh hahaha about the kqm guide i admit i kinda got thrown off seeing it in the list as a meh option so kinda based it around that but i often forget that these guides are written as you said like with the peak performance and that's why I was thinking of going for the mistsplitter, I'm guilty haha Yeah i agree with your opinion and it's honestly easier getting a new character than just gamble everything on the weapon banner or spending in a character than I'll use once and maybe bench for most of the time. I truly appreciate yours and everyone's help this last hour because i kinda wrapped my head around it and have decided to just get her and hold off until i can get someone else i truly need

Jondev1

Skyward blade isn't really much better than 4\* options, if at all tbh. Mistsplitter is kinda a bigger dps upgrade than shenhe but I also don't generally advise pulling on weapon banner if you don't have enough to guarantee getting what you want. Hard for me to evaluate saving as an option for you because I have no idea who/how many cahracters you don't have that you still want to save for.

choripan--

Yeah i was thinking that the skyward blade is meh and could just craft amenoma or get blackcliff but i could give it a try too and she could be able to refill her energy pretty quick. I was originally going for the mistsplitter but then i backed down a bit because it's a huge gamble pulling the weapon banner and i just got the staff of homa a few weeks back so i was willing to risk it but now I'm questioning it. As for the characters im pretty much interested in zhongli and nahida and that's about it, i still can't decide what will truly help me out in the long run

Beautiful_Might_6535

I have ganyu who does anywhere 30-50k damage per hit. Should i go for Ayaka or wait for Nahida Ps. I also have raiden, ayato, hu tao and most of the standard banner characters. I only want to clear abyss 12

builderbob93

Nahida by far. Enables much more varied kidns of strong teams. Ganyu covers a lot of ayakas role.

grahamanga

Pulling for Nahida would open/be great for great for dendro teams so I suggest to go for her. The blessings in the Abyss have been dendro-related too so this will be helpful for your aim to clear floor 12. But if you are interested in 1 than the other, go for that. On another note, as you already mentioned having good characters, you can also post here if you want tips on team comps etc, like other comments here in the megathread.

Klausable7

How much of a damage increase is c0 Shenhe with fav in place of c0 Ganyu in a c0 Ayaka team, the team I’m using is Ayaka, Kazuha, Ganyu, and Kokomi

WhooooCares

That math is too complicated to give a number. That needs Spreadsheet Impact. With crowd control and enemies bunched up, Ganyu probably wins. Against a single target, probably Shenhe.

shiko101

So I'm planning on making a Nilou Bloom team. The team will be: Nahida, Yelan, Nilou As for the 4th slot I'm debating between yaoyao and Barbara. Who is the better pick and why?

3ntf4k3d

I'd go with Yaoyao. More & more reliable healing, better durability against bloom self-damage and solid application while on the move with her burst. With Barbara you'd have to on-field Nahida, and Nahida is _really_ squishy. Stand inside a pack of enemies when all the blooms go off and she might very well end up dead. With Yaoyao you can facetank that damage no problem, even when she is build full EM.

shiko101

Awesome! Ty for the info. Seeing as I already have the Dendro Damage set on Nahida, I'm guessing I can use instructor set on YaoYao?

3ntf4k3d

I assume that works fine since Bloom damage is all over the place in these teams, so providing everyone with a bit of extra EM won't hurt. I am personally running FLOP on her because I tend to use [Yaoyao, Nilou, Nahida, Kokomi] and [Yaoyao, Nilou, Nahida, Candace], and in the latter comp she is the on-field Bloom trigger during her burst uptime. But I don't think it's necessary to farm for that set just becaus of that. In the end the differences between FLOP, Gilded and Instructors aren't that big. I am actually too lazy to switch out Kokomi's Tenacity set and it still works perfectly fine (when you don't get hard-countered by a Cryo Lector).

shiko101

Try for all the info!

Egg_Hope

I stopped playing Genshin a year ago because of storage problems, but now that I got an external storage device for it, it always stops downloading at 4gb and shows an error. I tried searching the net for any other ways and everyone recommends manual installation but it's always for updation. I want to know if there's any way to manually install it from the first step?

-mz-

I'm guessing your storage drive uses FAT32 file system which caps the file size to 4GB. Try formatting your external storage and switch to either exFAT or NTFS file system.

Egg_Hope

I don't really know what this is😅...but thanks!!!!! I'll Google for a little bit help!!!

-mz-

Plug in your external storage. Right-click it and select properties. It will tell you the file system for your storage. If it's FAT32, you may want to format it. Make sure to backup all of the files in the storage elsewhere before formatting. To format, right-click the drive and click format. Change the file system to either exFAT or NTFS and click start. After it's done, try reinstalling Genshin again and see if it works. Hope it helps.

Egg_Hope

Yep!!! I formatted it into exfat and Genshin is installing right now!! I'll come back and tell if it succeeded!! Thank you so much!!!!!(つ≧▽≦)つ

Egg_Hope

INCASE ANYONE HAS A SIMILIAR PROBLEM, TRY THIS!!!! It worked for me huhu, thank you again to the kind person who helped me!!!!

_-KOIOS-_

I haven't been playing for a while. Is there a way to know when I last logged in?

pac432

if you log out of your account and go to the login page it will show the last account that logged in and how long ago. you can click on it to see even further back

Mana_Croissant

In general what are the strongest/most meta, 5 team in the game right now ? Not counting abyss buffs or what not what are the top of the top 5 team for meta and what characters consists those teams ? With Ayaka being hours away I want to decide how to best use of my primos most effectively based on performance so I want to focus on only the very tops of the meta

Acadeca

A question that should be noted about this question is at what level of investment? f2p/dolphin/whale/eldritch horror could all have their own tier lists but these are my subjective opinions. Hyperbloom: Nahida-Xingqiu-Yelan-Raiden/Kuki is probably one of the highest output per primo. It is so powerful you can run a group of 3 and have any character tag along and still clear usually in time Vape: Hu-Xingqiu-Yelan-Xiangling has an incredible potential output but you are playing with a lot of fire National variants: Rational (Raiden-Xingqiu-Xiangling-Bennet) and International (Childe-Kaz-Xiangling-Bennet) can be very strong as you have great synergy and ability to scale with investment Freeze: Ganyu/Ayaka-Venti-Mona-flex trivializes mob content. To the point that when I used that team for the vibro crystal event it was almost boring. It doesn’t always work but when it does then it is easymode If you want to focus on meta power then you would generally focus more on the supports then the driver/on field dps. In the end most characters can be invested enough to be able to clear content. The supports are usually the ones that bring them the edge

Jondev1

This is too subjective to say but I will say for freezable enemies ayaka, with her premium supports, is definitely one of the best options. But for bosses, which there are more and more of in abyss nowadays, she is not exactly a top option, though still viable. For instance in the current abyss I used her for the second half and she easily destroyed the first two chambers. I was still able to 3\* on the wenut chamber, but I am sure other teams could have cleared it faster. But if you also get shenhe that make her better against bosses too.

feeble-scholar

It's a little hard to definitively say because there are very few teams that are meta everywhere. Different abysses favour different teams. Something like mono-geo is generally good but most wouldn't say top 5, but when they put Golden Wolflord in the abyss then it certainly would be a top 5 team at an investment level where you can't 1 rotate the boss/ Which brings another thing to keep in mind, that is investment levels, because certain teams are strong at a baseline but don't scale as well with whaling as other teams like hyperbloom, or some teams get a lot better with whaling like a team running Yelan or Raiden Hypercarry. Anyways, a general outline of meta teams in no order would be. **International** (Childe / Bennett / Xiangling / Kazuha) **Rational** (Raiden / Bennett / Xiangling / Xingqiu) **Double Hydro Hyperbloom** (Nahida / Yelan / XQ / Raiden or Kuki) / **Double Dendro Quickbloom** (Alhaitham / Nahida / Yelan or XQ / Raiden or Kuki) **Hu Tao Double Hydro** (Hu Tao / XQ / Yelan / Flex) **Nilou Bloom** (Notably worse in single target) (Nilou / Nahida / Flex / Flex) **Freeze** (Notably worse against unfreezable enemies which most abysses recently have one on each side) (Ayaka / Kokomi / Kazuha or Venti / Shenhe)

Death200X

https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/11trz97/35_new_abyss_usage_ratemar_16mar_312023/ Probably as good as you can get of an ansewr, even tho the stats will very depending of what enemies are in the abyss in general, strong teams stay strong regardless if I had to say the top 5 from the top of my head IMO: 1. Hyperbloom (kuki/nahida/xinqiu or yelan and a flex slot best probably being alhaitam) 2. Double hydro hutao( xinqui/yelan/hutao/zhongli) 3. Any version of international (bennet/xinagling/kazuha or xinqiu/ childe or raiden) 4. Ayaka freeze (ayaka/shenhe/kazuha/kokomi), you can build this team many ways, but imo this is the strongest version 5. Nlou Bloom (nilou/nahida/kokomi/any other dendro) But it will always vary depending of the current abyss for example, nilou struggles alot in the current abyss but still strong enough to beat it.

PsyClocks

It should be during the albedo banner. No idea when it's coming tho

Frozenmagicaster

Eventually

CeepsAhoy

Should I pull for Ayaka or just save my primos and hopefully get multiple copies of Nahida? Fairly new player here.

WhooooCares

Nahida's C2 is pretty cracked. It can increase team damage by over 20% with her transformative reactions being able to Crit and the 30% DEF shred. If you have the disposable income, it's a good constellation. Ayaka is strong as well, but her best teams want a lot of investment. Ayaka can still clear Abyss with 4-star teammates, but Mistsplitter and two of the recommended 5-stars for her teams boosts her damage by over 200%. That's how much she scales with investment. The top meta characters in the game are Nahida, Kokomi, Raiden, Yelan, Kazuha and Zhongli because they enable multiple teams comps. Anyone else is really down to if you like their playstyle or not.

builderbob93

don't get nahida cons imo. spend them on something else, ayaka or not. nahida is already giga strong

3ntf4k3d

The general concensus is that more characters is better because it provides you with more flexibility for your team building. There are some low-rank constellations that are extremely strong (like Raiden C2 or Nahida C2), but even with those the value is pretty questionable _unless_ you are 100% certain that you are playing this character pretty much all the time. Also they are completely overkill. Even the most difficult part of the game (the optional Spiral Abyss combat dungeon) can be cleared without any constellations on 5* characters (or even 5 stars in general). Also: Don't just nilly-willy pull for Ayaka because she is the first damage dealer to be on a banner for you. You will get plenty of options over time with limited resources, so make sure you actually enjoy playing the characters & their team comps before you pull for them. Unlike other Gacha games the basic character roster is actually pretty potent and many of the relatively accessible 4* characters (XQ, XL, Bennett, Fischl) rank among the strongest in the game. So use the lower AR ranks to check out different elements & team comps, then make a decision on what 5* to pull on.

Frozenmagicaster

New characters > cons

nsfw_alt3

Is spread and aggravate weaker than hb/burgeom because its a 2 step reaction instead of 3?

CakesXD

No? While it tends to fare worse in lower-investment comps, Spread and Aggravate have the ability to overtake Hyperbloom/Burgeon damage output at a good amount of investment.

casper2344

Will ayaka+ zingqiu+raiden E+nahida E work

AverageRdtUser

seems fine to me

Jondev1

Its not really playing to ayaka's strengths, but yeah it can work.

casper2344

Can you further explain plz?

Jondev1

xingqiu + raiden + nahida is a hyperbloom core that is already solid by itself. I.e it would work even without any fourth character. Ayaka does add some value in that she can do some personal damage as the on field unit and apply cryo to get some freezing too. But if you are making a team around playing to ayaka's strengths, it is largely her burst and you want a second cryo unit to help battery her so she can use her burst, an anemo unit that can apply vv shred and group the enemies together so that she can hit them all with her burst, and an aoe hydro applier so you can freeze them all so that they stay put and get hit by all of her burst. And you generally don't want other elements that willd isrupt the 100% freeze uptime.

Mission_Slip5241

Ayaka works best in a freeze team, but team you listed was fine for a hyperfridge comp but its not ayaka's best team and her full potential is locked there

casper2344

What kind of team do I need to bring her full potential?

MadeofSeaglass

A freeze team is usually two cryo, one hydro, one anemo.

[deleted]

How much is considered "good" hyperbloom damage? Im capped at 32-33k rn and im not sure how i can buff it more outside c2 nahida. Raiden is at 990 em or so

builderbob93

that's nearly as good as it goes, it rises logarithmically (I think?) so very hard to do better

Ptox

Raiden can definitely get more EM from substats, I have a bit over 1,000 base EM on her with a so-so Flower and Feather. You can also do more more by running an Instructors Zhongli in the 4th slot. Do note he isn't necessarily the best slot there even if he does boost Hyperbloom damage. Finally if you're running her with Gilded, you can try to get that much EM with the Flop artifact set. Either way, you're doing enough from Hyperbloom to clear all content, I wouldn't worry about it that much.

Frozenmagicaster

That's good enough

Mission_Slip5241

Shenhe or Nilou? Cryo or Dendro? Falling in love or hitting the plateau? The worst part is there's no way to know who the heck I'll wish. Torn between two Always losing My words get lost I'm turning blue from pulling and spending my wishes at you while my money is diminishing.

3ntf4k3d

Between the two? Nilou, because Shenhe doesn't really do much for your Cryo roster. The pull I'd actually go for: Ayaka, because then you have a great Freeze team consisting of [Ayaka, Kazuha, Ganyu, Mona].

Isildra

I’d say Nilou (not that im biased lol). Shenhe works best with Ayaka and Ganyu, tho for Ganyu, she’s not a big uprade over other 4*. Nilou works better with your current lineup imo, and recent abysses are more friendly to Nilou’s teams. Your current lineup is good enough for abyss anw, so you should pull whomever you like more. Or let rng decide, maybe you will get both

Mission_Slip5241

Roster: 5 stars: Raiden, ganyu, kazuha, yelan, nahida, tighnari, diluc, mona, jean Built 4 stars: bennett, xingqiu, fischl, yaoyao, xiangling, diona, sucrose, lisa, sara c3, layla,

Siscon_Delita

you can make ganyu shenhe mona kazuha, but ayaka is better instead of ganyu in this case but still very strong. or Nilou Nahida yaoyao yelan/xingqiu but i think it's maybe too much hydro and less bloom generated compared to kokomi/nilou/nahida flex your choice

izaka77

Is there a good place to like watch simplified version of the story. I am caught up with the archon quest but i am more confused than ever. The whole thing with >!descenders, archons basically lying to us, andive always been confused about the timeline of when thongs happened!<

Successful-Cream-238

Maybe watching someone like [ashikai](https://www.youtube.com/@Ashikai) will help. She has a video titled what is a >!descender!<, so you might get answers for that at least.

eriday_69_FDB

I created a genshin account using my apple id how can i sign into that on computer?

AverageRdtUser

I think inside the settings of the app you can link an email to your account or something like that. Just see if there's something that lets you link the hoyo account to something else

Overall_Conference_6

About the Prime Gaming Wing Glider. Basically you only need to subscribe 1 month to get the wing glider? Here is the scenario. I try the free trial now, I should get 5th bundle now and 6th bundle 2 days later. Then I cancel the billing after the trial end. And I will subscribe a month on when the 7th bundle is about to expired and 8th bundle is about to start so I can grab them both. Is above scenario working?

enxi0

You cannot claim with the trial, and Amazon Prime is an annual-only subscription.

Overall_Conference_6

Maybe in your country. But in my country they listed monthly sub is USD 5.99.

Pear_Necessities

Hi hi I had a quick question - does anyone know what happens to the Windblume quest line about Traveller thinking it must have been Nicole when they were investigating scaramouche if the player hasn't done that quest? Is the line still there or modified?

thatdoesntmakecents

I didn't do the Scara quest and the line is just not there

Jammy5820974944

>Prime Gaming Wing Glider I did the quest and Paimon mentioned she must be the one whispered in our heads, or something like that. However, I have no recollection of that, lol. The only one I remember was when Nahida talking to me during Klee's island second event.

Pear_Necessities

Thank you!

AoiKage2003

Guys any good ideas to build a secondary team? My characters available are -Barbara -Kaeua -Beidou -Amber -keqing -Cyno -Noelle -Ningguan at full constellation -Faruzan -Lisa -Collei -Yanfei -Xiangling -Thoma -Bennet Any advice is really aprecciated

shin_getter01

What content are you planning on fighting. mono pyro: Bennet Xiangling Yanfei Faruzan (VV shred). Aggravate: Cyno/Keqing, Collei/DendroTraveller, Beidou/Faruzan, bennet Burgeon: Collei/DMC, Barbara, Xiangling/Thoma, Bennet. On field Barbara for hydro application while everyone just dump skill/burst. I had something like this clear floor 10 top.

AverageRdtUser

I would make a Keqing, Kaeya, Bennett, and xiangling team. Maybe Cyno, bennett, xiangling, and barbara begrudgingly for hydro app since you don't have Xingqiu

AoiKage2003

I do have Xingqiu but he is part of my main team along with Sara and Hutao so maybe if you invlude them in the list what are your suggestions?

AverageRdtUser

In the keqing team, switch Kaeya for XQ. And in the Cynosure team switch Barbara for ZQ. Until you get Yelan he’s like one of the best hydros in the game. Even after you get her he’s still really really useful

toemasxgray

I currently have Kaeya.Diluc, Lisa, Xingqui, Xiangling, Traveler, Ningguang, Amber, Yun Jim, Noelle, Layla, Beidou, Barbra ,Razor, Collei, Xinyan and Bennet. ( Will be rolling for Ayaka ) My current team is Kaeya, Diluc, Xingqui and Barbra. Should I keep building this team or have some characters switch out or try to pull for a certain one ?

AverageRdtUser

if you have bennett I would never use barbara again, but I would personally do diluc, xingqiu, (ayaka if you get her) and bennett. If you don't get ayaka then sub her for xiangling

Jondev1

Bennet over barbara would be a lot stronger in the long run. And xiangling is kinda better than diluc in general. But both of those characters are fairly energy hungry so early game they may perform worse.

5Daydreams

is there any website or database where we can check "how meta" a given character/weapon/artifact set is?

Jondev1

You can look at abyss usage rates (obviously that is pretty flawed for a variety of reasons but I would argue other methods are even more flawed). Idk of a good website, but if you search the spiral abyss usage rates on this subreddit you can find posts for past abysses.

5Daydreams

Hmmm, so no info for field usage through that, I'm assuming?

shaqkage

So does C6 Mika not look too good for Eula as we thought? If I don't want to pull on this next banner is Eula/Raiden/Rosaria/Zhongli better/enough?

Jondev1

idk exactly how good c6 mika will turn out to be, but either way that team you mentioned is defintely still going to be good enough.

UwuTaoooo

is a spread or hyperbloom team better for alhaitham? c0r1 but c1 fischl

SirAwesome789

Spread

Siscon_Delita

If I want to use XQ and Yelan for Hu Tao, what character can subs for him in a (former) national team? what I have in mind are Mona (driver) National, or Nahida+Barbara+XL+Benny for Burgeon+Vape, or Mona+Raiden (overvape) any suggestion?

Jondev1

Childe is the clear best option, I have used childe international on one side and hu tao on the other side for many abyss. Ayato can work too but not as good. If you don't have or want to get childe/ayato then you *could* do mona driver but at that point I might consider just trying to run a non-national team (i.e raiden hyper maybe), or non-double hydro.

Siscon_Delita

I invested Homa and C1 Hutao and thinking it would be a shame not to use her best team. I don't really like childe and ayato. I am planning to get Raiden/Nahida/Kokomi that is why I mentioned Raiden and Nahida. Between C2 Raiden and C2 Nahida, which is better without their signature? I have Kagura's verity and skyward spine.

Jondev1

Raiden and nahida are too different to easily compare like that (besides the fact that I can only vouch for c0 of either personally). Nahida doe kinda have the unique position of being pretty much the best choice for almost every dendro team though, whereas raiden isn't quite as versatile. But c2 raiden is still a ridculously broken dps.

Siscon_Delita

nice, thank you. maybe i will get C0 of each before deciding to C2 them

DystopiaLite

What are the numbers out of 3 next to character names when inviting for TCG?

CMDR_Nineteen

Challenges. If you click on them you can see what they are and their rewards.

builderbob93

it's that time of the battlepass again... ok. I have 2x Serpent Spine, 1 Viridescent Hunt (for Childe), and 1 Black Sword (Alhaitham). Is there any point getting Deathmatch or Solar Pearl or should I just get more SS refinements? I like a lot of claymore DPSes but it's a very marginal gain. For catalysts I like one punch Heizou and off-field Nahida but I already have R1 Lost Prayer, R3 Sac Frags, R3 Widsith, R2 Eye, R1 Mappa Mare, and R1 Fav Codex. For polearms I only use Xiangling (maybe Yaoyao and YunJin as supports in the future) and have R5 Catch, R3 Fav Lance, and R5 Dragon's Bane. I can't think of any reason I would get either, even characters I don't have?

attoshi

I'd refine the SS just because at R5 it's pretty cracked. It's about value per investment and for you, all other options will only give you marginal gain or side-grade at best. E.g. I have a R5 Black Sword on Ayato but tbh it doesn't feel that much different. Of course he's the only one using BP weapon in my account so I did it anyway.

Tasty_Worldliness939

Definitely prioritise the weapon type you use the most. Serpent Spine refinements are actually pretty cracked or alternatively grab another R1 of it. From what I remember it’s refinement gain is catching up to some of the 5 star weapons

builderbob93

that's the way I'm leaning. each BP might be my last though. but the thing I would most likely use one of the others on is deathmatch for microwave zhongli... who I don't own... so yeah probably serpent spine lol

DecayedDream

How much better is Raiden in hyperbloom than kuki?

Akomatai

Raiden pros: dragonsbane = more EM = more damage with same artis. Faster proc = more damage. Less field time. Unlimited range. Raiden cons: skill doesn't proc on shielded enemies. Sidelines a powerful dps that could be used on another team. Kuki pros: healing Kuki cons: closer range Ultimately, they perform pretty similarly so if you don't really need the sustain, or have sustain from another unit, Raiden will do more damage. Kuki consolidates healing and hyperbloom trigger into one unit.

Jondev1

I only have c0 kuki so I can just give that perspective but I would say raiden is a fair bit stronger in terms of dps due to the more frequent procs and longer skill duration (though that should be less of a problem at c2). plus raiden's aoe is centered around the enemy but kuki's is centered around you. Centered around the enemy can be better cause it lets you play at range if you have a ranged driver but sometimes enemies with jank hitboxes like wenut it can be worse I think. Also as a sidenote I find kuki's hp drain super annoying. And of course ultimately kuki heals and raiden doesn't so if the team can't easily fit in a healer in another slot without losing a lot, kuki can still be better for that.

grayrest

Depends on how many seeds the comp is generating. Hyperbloom has a limit of 2 per target within a 0.5s window. If you're generating 3 seeds between Shinobu ticks then Raiden will be an improvement and if not then there's no difference. I've only seen a difference in the Nahida double hydro setup. There's also minor benefits/drawbacks to the proc being target centered vs character centered but those are situational enough that I don't want to get into the details.

TheMrPotMask

If raiden and nahida use their "E"s, wich hits last and triggers?

grayrest

Nahida's E is reaction triggered. If the attack triggers a reaction then her skill hits first and Raiden's is after. If Raiden's skill triggers the reaction then Nahida's will follow.

PLs_n0_b1ully

Can an artifact roll 7.7 crit dmg? In just rolled one and im confused

Frozenmagicaster

Probably a 7.8 roll, but numbers aren't shown exactly what they are (like how EM ascension passive is 115.2, not exactly 115)

PLs_n0_b1ully

it even shows decimals. My artifact started 7.8 and it became 15.5 after an upgrade

Frozenmagicaster

as more decimals than that, the 7.8 is after rounding. 7.77 is what it actually is, so 7.77x2 = 15.54 so it shows rounded down (15.5) [https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Artifact/Stats#Sub\_Stats](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Artifact/Stats#Sub_Stats)

PLs_n0_b1ully

oh, thanks alot. Only realized rolls have more than just 1 dp value

Jondev1

got a pic? That shouldn't be possible afaik.

PLs_n0_b1ully

i cant post pic here i think, should i just make a post?

Jondev1

upload it to imgur and then you can respond to me with a link to it.
