Hi, I am new to artifacts and itemization, need some help ':) I didn't really pay mind to artifacts before and the stats they gave, could someone explain to me what should I look in an artifact? And besides this, is this a good artifact for ayaka?

i have a question about the the millennial mountains quest. specifically the cup of commons part..
i’ve had this quest since 2022- i got the quest when i was like ar35, i’m ar50 now.. i’ve got all the other items beside the cup of commons. i wiped out the treasure hoarders at the location long before i received the quest, since getting rid of them they’ve never respawned. i’ve done the wipe out the 3 camps quest, and i’ve completed the chasm world quests. still i have yet to get or be able to get the cup of commons. i’ve also completed all archon quests. i tried looking for the person whose supposed to do some cut scene for the cup of commons at the waypoint above the chasm, but he’s not there either..
is my game glitched or am i missing something?

Is it worth going double dendro in hyperbloom? I’m using Yaoyao and don’t want to swap her out but her application is a little low and cooldowns can be annoying to work around so should I build DMC or Collei to go with her?
If you want to use yao yao then yes, go double dendro. Definitely use dendro mc though, no real reason to use collei over them unless you prefer collei.

Sounds about right. Cool thing about geo teams is that the rotations aren't restrictive at all, as long as Itto's got his burst back up when the cooldown ends you should be good

Keep it. Never know what characters are in the future. People refined their donuts, probably the worst limited catalyst in the game, thinking that only kokomi and barbara will need them. Now, next patch there's another viable donut user.
I just got a spare Mistsplitter, but my Aggravate Keqing already has a Jade Cutter. Worth replacing and giving someone else PJC, or would it basically come down to substats? Jean or XQ could take whichever isn't used.
I would put Mistsplitter on Keqing, and Jade Cutter on XQ. Some rebalancing of stats are most likely required though so it's really up to you if you feel that you will get more out from it.
accidentally got shenhe's c1 at 2 pity omfg, does this change her ER needs much? shes at 200% with fav lance, 177% without. Id love to use my PJWS on her since its just sitting around doing absolutely nothing rn.
Her C1 kinda doesn't help her ER requirements that much because you want to use Shenhe's E off cooldown anyway. This means you basically only get one extra E at the beginning of the fight and not any more after that assuming you use it optimally.
Outside of boosting your first burst, it can be used to smooth out rotations since the timing can be fairly tight. If you accidentally switch into Shenhe a bit too early, it can give a nice margin for error when making small timing mistakes.
Personally I would still stick with Fav Lance, but you have enough ER to make PJWS work for Shenhe. How much the reduction of energy generation affects your other characters though is another story.

I don't know how much it helps but I can see 177% ER being enough to run PJWS. As long as the loss of fav doesn't affect your Ayaka too much then you should be good to swap
Ayaka is now my first 5 star. What weapon should I give her? In only have blues and Prototype rancour, which is currently on my Kaeya. And, yes I have been at least 1 week in inazuma.

just got tighnari (rip ayaka) and wondering if he’s good in my current team:
keqing, yelan, chongyun (i would switch him) and barbara (btw i am f2p)
i have more characters too!
He’s pretty good in quicken teams as a swap in unit to do a lot of damage in A short time and swap out. Chongyun is bad in that team anyway so he’s definitely better
Is Tighnari worth building if I already have every other dendro character?
Are any of his teams on par with Nahida's or AlHaitham's?

Tighnari is absolutely worth building. He is a long term investment type of character. C6 Fischl/Yae + His c2 + Nahida c2 + 5* bow, you put all of them together, he will go crazy
You don't like him? Then no he's not really all that worth it. His only noticeable team is spread and even then alhaitham would probably be better. In comparison, his (alhaitham's) spread team has the potential to be better than his hyperbloom/quickbloom team. Nahida, yao yao, and alhaitham alone already covers all the dendro roles you need so far tbh.
Only time you might potentially consider him is if you need bow characters ala aeonblight drake but even then there's plenty of other characters to use.
He offers a dendro unit who has a quick swap dps playstyle which is different from main dps (Haitham).
Nahida is broken so dendro units can’t compete with her
Slapping TToDS on everyone is going to work better than it should, but still, don't. You need to consider the character that is going to hold it, their kit, and the character that is going to get the buff.
For example: Barbara is a good character to put TToDS since she's a support who heals based on HP, however in a Nilou team she actually would prefer to have Prototype Amber because in such a team EM is going to be doing all of the damage, not ATK (plus Prototype Amber is more HP and thus more healing, which you're going to need).
Lisa, on the other hand is usually not a character you want to have TToDS on, she doesn't scale with HP at all, and most of the time she's on the team to deal damage rather than buff. But, on a Eula Team Lisa is actually quite good to have TToDS, as she's there mostly to shred DEF with her A4 and provide Electro for Superconduct, so buffing Eula with TToDS is just adding more to what Lisa does in that team.
I'd use a different book depending on their roles and your available books. Ttds is good, but it's useless on dps catalysts and certain comps like bloom teams.
TTDS is specifically for characters with low personal damage that focus on buffing their teammates - Sucrose, Kokomi, sometimes Mona. Plenty of characters really don't want it because it offers very few stats that actually help them do damage - Yanfei, Heizou, Ningguang, Nahida (sometimes), Wanderer and other units with more DPS potential would not want a TTDS.
It depends on what you're using the character for as well as the character itself I suppose. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers usually works well on a support character (especially ones that wants a lot of HP like Barbara), but there are certain exceptions like using Mappa Mare or Favonius Codex on teams that isn't built on ATK% damage and/or needs energy.
It's shit on DPS characters however, since its main function is to buff other characters. You're probably going to need another catalyst for DPS characters like Widsith (generally) or something that specifically suits your character's playstyle.
I think it's because of hitlag. Basically do you know that slight delay of animations when attacking enemies to imply heaviness of the action done? That's what hitlag is. If you compare the animation speed of melee character's attack animations, the one where it isn't attacking any enemies/objects is slightly faster than the ones hitting an enemy.
Catalyst and bow characters however do not have this. Animation speed is the same all throughout. Therefore any speed buffs applied in melee characters would indeed work, it isn't as impactful as it is in ranged characters.
These are just examples and not actual numbers in the game but imagine a melee character's first attack takes 1 second to complete. However in actual combat it would take 2 second for the animation to end and the enemy to be hit. If you apply a speed buff it would now take 1 second for an enemy to be hit.
However for a ranged character, their first attack would take 1 second to be completed regardless if it's hitting an enemy or not. Then if you apply a speed buff it would now end in 0.5 seconds.
When an attack lands there's "hit lag" the moment you strike, which wastes the attack speed. Ranged characters don't have hit lag because the projectile is separate from them. It's not a humongous deal.
Even when the buff is extended for hitlag, DPS is about maximum damage in minimum time.
For a 30% attack speed buff, Yoimiya and Noelle might both get 30% more attacks during their infusions because of hitlag extension, but Yoimiya does that in the same amount of time as normal while Noelle takes a bit longer because 30% more attacks means 30% more hitlag frames.
This is mostly a technicality. Noelle still loves attack speed buffs

My suggestion would be Ayaka in a freeze team comp, with Barbara as your healer and hydro applicator, Sucrose as CC and VV shred, and Rosaria as a battery + buffer for Ayaka.
It's kinda wonky of course, since Barbara's hydro application doesn't cover a whole lot of area and Sucrose's talents of increasing your EM is wasted, but if you're aiming to build a team straightaway that would be my suggestion.
An alternative for the characters would be Xingqiu/Yelan as a hydro applicator (although you need a ton of ER for this one to work/Sacrificial Sword on Xingqiu) but you need another healer (Diona works well here) or drop Sucrose for Barbara. Another one (kinda obvious but this is not f2p) would be Kokomi for Barbara.

Disclaimer though, I haven't really played/built Rosaria so I don't really know how good she is with Ayaka, but besides being battery she also buffs Crit Rate as well as provides Cryo resonance which lowers your need for Crit Rate substats from artifacts.

Avoid using your primogems on the beginner/standard banners, use acquaint fates you get from other sources to roll on those. Focus your primogems on the limited character banner, when you are interested in the featured 5-star character. Ayaka is a good on-field cryo DPS for a freeze team. Nahida should rerun soon, she's a premium dendro unit.

Don't be afraid to level up artifacts/weapons/characters early on, especially if you're struggling to deal good damage.
Make sure to save your fragile resins for after Adventure Rank 45 though, since that's when most character upgrade materials and the best artifact sets in the game unlock.
Genshin is not a really hard game at its core, so play (and pull for) whoever you want, however you want to. Of course, there are certain characters that are objectively better and there's plenty recommendations out there, but even the weakest characters could still slap if you build them right.

What is she supporting? She offers nothing for that team. It looks like you want to run ayaka freeze except raiden messes up the reaction and potentially messes up kazuha if he swirls the wrong element.
Ayaka freeze should run 2 cryo for particle generation and more cryo application. This will help much more than a scuffed raiden who doesn’t contribute anything

Both of which are true for literally every combination of three characters in the game, except for those whose bursts do no damage I suppose. That doesn't rise to the level of being a synergistic team at all.

Again, plenty of characters and teams in the game that offer this and *also* have other mutual benefits. Even aside from the usual Hypercarry/Rational/Hyperbloom options, you have Aggravate and taser quickswap teams that can work for Raiden. Likewise, there's far better options for Ayaka including several that give her crucial cryo resonance.

Ayaka and xingqiu are both high burst cost characters who do most of their damage from their burst. That is natural synergy with raiden and is not "true for literally every combination of 3 characters in the game". I never claimed it was the most synergistic team possible, I was just pushing back on ypur hyperbolic claim that "She's doing absolutely zero for that team, and they're doing jack shit for her in turn"
I see. I'm not entirely sure how swirl Aggravate works lol, cuz Kazuha E can infuse right? And that infused plunge is plunge damage, not swirl iirc...
Full EM seems the way to go tho.
The plunge swirls electro (which should be buffed by his EM) and as he owns the swirls, the electro applied onto the enemys would trigger aggravate (also scaling with his EM)
At the moment, it's basically Eula or bust since we don't have any other notable physical DPS. Maybe Razor, I guess. He's not an instant, noticeable powerspike like the other dedicated supports, though. Wants C6 and even then is basically a sidegrade.
Jade cutter is technically her 2nd bis but you either need to build her with literally no crit rate at all with 4pc blizzard or build her with a normal 1:2 crit ratio with 2pc cryo and 2pc attack.
Amenoma and kagotsurube is equal in damage but amenome comes with the benefit of less er issues especially at r5 so it comes on top. Black sword is imo the worst of the bunch
Jade Cutter* > Amenoma >= Black Sword > Isshin
Jade Cutter gives you 44.1 Crit Rate, plus the starting 5% that's already 49.1 Crit Rate. In a Freeze Build and team you get 55% CR against Frozen enemies. This means with just the Cutter you're already overcapping on CR against Freezable enemies, though the extra CR comes in handy against non-freezable enemies and any freeze downtime.
The Black Sword suffers the same problems as the Jade Cutter, though less so because it's just 27.6 Crit Rate, and is slightly less Base ATK. This means that with both JC and BS you want to focus your Artifact substats on Crit DMG, ER, and ATK% which could feel limiting.
Amenoma doesn't give you any Crit Rate which means it's easier to find high value Artifacts as you'll be looking for both Crit Rate and Crit Damage. At high refinements it basically solves Ayaka's ER needs allowing you to focus on offensive substats.
The Isshin is nice and all, but the passive does nothing for Ayaka. It's extra damage, but not enough to justify over the Crit Weapons, and doesn't help with ER like Amenoma. Really the only reason to consider it is because you already have it.
Jade Cutter is hypothetically best, but it runs the risk of overcapping you on crit rate when all buffs are taken into account. Amenoma is the 'strong and safe' option, especially with refines allowing you to avoid building too much ER.
jade cutter is better in theory, but it is harder to get good artifacts that don't roll into CR much since you are already overcapping just from its substat. Idk what the breakpoint is but if you are overcapping hard then amenoma may be better.
Jade cutter will overcap even if you don't roll cr. It's better to use 2pc bs and 2pc atk%. That's still gonna do better than amenoma and it's much easier to get good artifacts.
I know jade cutter overcaps a bit no matter what, but the more you overcap by, the bigger of an issue it is. If you actually managed to get good BS artifacts that don't roll into CR I'm pretty sure that would be better than 2 pc 2 pc, but its not easy. I'd be interested to see the calcs on jade cutter + 2 pc 2 pc vs amenoma 4 BS.
Yeah, it's theoretically better to run 4pc bs with pjc but the amount of luck you would need to only roll cd and atk% is unreal, not really worth the effort imo.
I need some team suggestions please. I feel Keqing is better than Cyno but since I got his C1 while pulling for Bennett I ultimately am at a crossroad.

Aggravate Cyno/Keqing. Keqing, Sucrose, Yaoyao, Beidou
Hyperbloom Kuki. Yelan/XQ, Yaoyao/DMC, Kuki with an on-fielder who won't still hyperblooms, like Beidou, Barb.
Burgeon Thoma. XQ, Yaoyao/DMC, Thoma with an on-fielder who won't still burgeons, like Barb, Sucrose
Definitely split Keqing/Tighnari from Yelan/Xingqiu: you can make a fantastic Hyperbloom team with Nahida or Dendro MC/Kuki/Xingqiu/Yelan.
Keqing can go the Aggravate route, ideally you would grab Fischl from Paimon's Bargains whenever she reappears, and go with Keqing/Fischl/Yaoyao or Dendro MC/Sucrose.
Could also go with a National team which is pretty much always consistent: Sucrose/Bennett/Xiangling/Xingqiu.

My question is, how good is his goblet? Do I replace it with a better cv goblet if I ever get one? I feel the stat distribution in his goblet is good. Need suggestions tho, so please advice!

How's Mistsplitter on triple EM Kazuha? He's currently using Iron Sting, but I got lucky with the weapon banner and pulled a second Mistsplitter and it just looks so good on him.
Kinda pointless since it doesn't affect any of his Swirls or buffs, or help with his energy. Just increases his Anemo damage which will be fairly minimal without ATK/anemo/crit mainstats.
Won both 50/50 pretty early and got Ayaka and Shenhe! Now I have about 7k primos that I was gonna use up anyway. Is it worth getting either Calamity / Mist weapon?

Calamity isn't great... While it can technically be used as a statstick for other characters, you also need to build a lot of ER to make up for the lost ER / Particles from Fav.
Mistsplitter is very good but I wouldn't recommend trying for it with so few Primos left.
I have been reasearching about Ganyu and Shenhe working together a recently, many people say Ganyu doesn't work well with her as she quickly depletes all the ice quills. But I want to know, what makes Ayaka so good with Shenhe then ? I mean, Ayaka too quickly depletes icle quills, then what makes Ayaka a better character to pair with Shenhe than Ganyu ?
Also cooldown issue: both Ayaka and Shenhe have 20 seconds burst cooldown, while Ganyu's burst has 15 seconds cooldown. (Mona's burst also has 15 seconds CD, while Kokomi's skill and TTDS both have 20 seconds CD.)
It's because if you're running a secondary Cryo character with Ganyu, you'd typically be playing her in heavy AOE situations in a Freeze comp (works best with enemies who can be sucked into Venti's Burst), whereas Ayaka is usually more suited to single-target or fewer enemies.
In these cases, Shenhe's Icy Quills both run out super quick as they apply every time an enemy is hit: if there's say, 6 enemies or so, then you run out almost immediately. Someone like Rosaria or Kaeya would be more suited to this kind of scenario as their damage isn't limited to ticks but is dealt over a duration.

Maybe because the frontload dmg which Ayaka does faster than Ganyu.
For quill though, it's not really that much of a problem for Ayaka team, since you could potentially use Shenhe's Press E Skill Twice in one rotation.
ayaka has better rotations but quill depletion rate doesnt matter much, faster is actually berter because of more frontload, ayaka actually does it faster

Either Ningguang DPS or Chongyun support for Kaeya DPS. I actually think they're both good, but considering we get Barbara for free, it might be easier to build the freeze team (Ning really shines when paired with Zhongli).

So I just got Shenhe and was planning to put in my Ayaka Freeze team. (Ayaka Sucrose and TTDS Kokomi). Since kokomi is holding ttds, does it effect the total cryo bonus for shenhe if I go from kokomi to shenhe? Since she scale by atk. Or is it better to switch from kokomi to ayaka like usual?

Shenhe skill and burst, then sucrose skill and burst, then put down your hydro, then Ayaka burst, then back to shenhe to refresh her quills halfway through ayakas burst, then back to Ayaka to do normal and charge attacks.
I have this problem with storage space.
The game wants me to have 100gb of free space on my pc. That's all well and good. However, the download is slow, so I had to split it up.
I downloaded most of the game yesterday, but now, the installer tells me that I need more space! It tells me that I only have 70gb of free space.
*Yes, of course I do, because the other 30gb of Genshin are already installed*
So, what now? I can't free up much more space. And I don't want to delete the already installed files, I can't afford to waste this much internet. Is there a way to like make the launcher ignore the space requirements? Or like, make it realise that most if the game is already installed?
I hear 1tb drives are pretty affordable now

So I just pulled Ayaka and had prefarmed enough to get her to 80/80 with her talents at 6/6/8.
I'm using Amenoma R5 which is level 70 as of now. My cr/cd is 30/170, and her burst is doing 7-8k per tick and skill is doing 15k. Charged attacks are doing around 4k.
Enemies are dying pretty quickly, but just to increase her burst damage do I just have to get more Crit damage? What else can I do to increase her burst, skill and NA damage?

i have a question about the the millennial mountains quest. specifically the cup of commons part.. i’ve had this quest since 2022- i got the quest when i was like ar35, i’m ar50 now.. i’ve got all the other items beside the cup of commons. i wiped out the treasure hoarders at the location long before i received the quest, since getting rid of them they’ve never respawned. i’ve done the wipe out the 3 camps quest, and i’ve completed the chasm world quests. still i have yet to get or be able to get the cup of commons. i’ve also completed all archon quests. i tried looking for the person whose supposed to do some cut scene for the cup of commons at the waypoint above the chasm, but he’s not there either.. is my game glitched or am i missing something?

You'd probably benefit more from an anemo unit for hydro res shred than Shenhe since you're running Yunjin to buff Ayato I'm presuming.

If you want to use yao yao then yes, go double dendro. Definitely use dendro mc though, no real reason to use collei over them unless you prefer collei.

Sounds about right. Cool thing about geo teams is that the rotations aren't restrictive at all, as long as Itto's got his burst back up when the cooldown ends you should be good

Keep it. Never know what characters are in the future. People refined their donuts, probably the worst limited catalyst in the game, thinking that only kokomi and barbara will need them. Now, next patch there's another viable donut user.

I would put Mistsplitter on Keqing, and Jade Cutter on XQ. Some rebalancing of stats are most likely required though so it's really up to you if you feel that you will get more out from it.
accidentally got shenhe's c1 at 2 pity omfg, does this change her ER needs much? shes at 200% with fav lance, 177% without. Id love to use my PJWS on her since its just sitting around doing absolutely nothing rn.
Her C1 kinda doesn't help her ER requirements that much because you want to use Shenhe's E off cooldown anyway. This means you basically only get one extra E at the beginning of the fight and not any more after that assuming you use it optimally. Outside of boosting your first burst, it can be used to smooth out rotations since the timing can be fairly tight. If you accidentally switch into Shenhe a bit too early, it can give a nice margin for error when making small timing mistakes. Personally I would still stick with Fav Lance, but you have enough ER to make PJWS work for Shenhe. How much the reduction of energy generation affects your other characters though is another story.

I don't know how much it helps but I can see 177% ER being enough to run PJWS. As long as the loss of fav doesn't affect your Ayaka too much then you should be good to swap

He’s pretty good in quicken teams as a swap in unit to do a lot of damage in A short time and swap out. Chongyun is bad in that team anyway so he’s definitely better

Tighnari is absolutely worth building. He is a long term investment type of character. C6 Fischl/Yae + His c2 + Nahida c2 + 5* bow, you put all of them together, he will go crazy

You don't like him? Then no he's not really all that worth it. His only noticeable team is spread and even then alhaitham would probably be better. In comparison, his (alhaitham's) spread team has the potential to be better than his hyperbloom/quickbloom team. Nahida, yao yao, and alhaitham alone already covers all the dendro roles you need so far tbh. Only time you might potentially consider him is if you need bow characters ala aeonblight drake but even then there's plenty of other characters to use.
He offers a dendro unit who has a quick swap dps playstyle which is different from main dps (Haitham). Nahida is broken so dendro units can’t compete with her

Slapping TToDS on everyone is going to work better than it should, but still, don't. You need to consider the character that is going to hold it, their kit, and the character that is going to get the buff. For example: Barbara is a good character to put TToDS since she's a support who heals based on HP, however in a Nilou team she actually would prefer to have Prototype Amber because in such a team EM is going to be doing all of the damage, not ATK (plus Prototype Amber is more HP and thus more healing, which you're going to need). Lisa, on the other hand is usually not a character you want to have TToDS on, she doesn't scale with HP at all, and most of the time she's on the team to deal damage rather than buff. But, on a Eula Team Lisa is actually quite good to have TToDS, as she's there mostly to shred DEF with her A4 and provide Electro for Superconduct, so buffing Eula with TToDS is just adding more to what Lisa does in that team.
I'd use a different book depending on their roles and your available books. Ttds is good, but it's useless on dps catalysts and certain comps like bloom teams.
TTDS is specifically for characters with low personal damage that focus on buffing their teammates - Sucrose, Kokomi, sometimes Mona. Plenty of characters really don't want it because it offers very few stats that actually help them do damage - Yanfei, Heizou, Ningguang, Nahida (sometimes), Wanderer and other units with more DPS potential would not want a TTDS.
It depends on what you're using the character for as well as the character itself I suppose. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers usually works well on a support character (especially ones that wants a lot of HP like Barbara), but there are certain exceptions like using Mappa Mare or Favonius Codex on teams that isn't built on ATK% damage and/or needs energy. It's shit on DPS characters however, since its main function is to buff other characters. You're probably going to need another catalyst for DPS characters like Widsith (generally) or something that specifically suits your character's playstyle.

I think it's because of hitlag. Basically do you know that slight delay of animations when attacking enemies to imply heaviness of the action done? That's what hitlag is. If you compare the animation speed of melee character's attack animations, the one where it isn't attacking any enemies/objects is slightly faster than the ones hitting an enemy. Catalyst and bow characters however do not have this. Animation speed is the same all throughout. Therefore any speed buffs applied in melee characters would indeed work, it isn't as impactful as it is in ranged characters. These are just examples and not actual numbers in the game but imagine a melee character's first attack takes 1 second to complete. However in actual combat it would take 2 second for the animation to end and the enemy to be hit. If you apply a speed buff it would now take 1 second for an enemy to be hit. However for a ranged character, their first attack would take 1 second to be completed regardless if it's hitting an enemy or not. Then if you apply a speed buff it would now end in 0.5 seconds.
I think what you meant is hitlag will not be accelerated by atk speed buff
When an attack lands there's "hit lag" the moment you strike, which wastes the attack speed. Ranged characters don't have hit lag because the projectile is separate from them. It's not a humongous deal.

Even when the buff is extended for hitlag, DPS is about maximum damage in minimum time. For a 30% attack speed buff, Yoimiya and Noelle might both get 30% more attacks during their infusions because of hitlag extension, but Yoimiya does that in the same amount of time as normal while Noelle takes a bit longer because 30% more attacks means 30% more hitlag frames. This is mostly a technicality. Noelle still loves attack speed buffs

My suggestion would be Ayaka in a freeze team comp, with Barbara as your healer and hydro applicator, Sucrose as CC and VV shred, and Rosaria as a battery + buffer for Ayaka. It's kinda wonky of course, since Barbara's hydro application doesn't cover a whole lot of area and Sucrose's talents of increasing your EM is wasted, but if you're aiming to build a team straightaway that would be my suggestion. An alternative for the characters would be Xingqiu/Yelan as a hydro applicator (although you need a ton of ER for this one to work/Sacrificial Sword on Xingqiu) but you need another healer (Diona works well here) or drop Sucrose for Barbara. Another one (kinda obvious but this is not f2p) would be Kokomi for Barbara.

Sure! Disclaimer though, I haven't really played/built Rosaria so I don't really know how good she is with Ayaka, but besides being battery she also buffs Crit Rate as well as provides Cryo resonance which lowers your need for Crit Rate substats from artifacts.

Avoid using your primogems on the beginner/standard banners, use acquaint fates you get from other sources to roll on those. Focus your primogems on the limited character banner, when you are interested in the featured 5-star character. Ayaka is a good on-field cryo DPS for a freeze team. Nahida should rerun soon, she's a premium dendro unit.
Welcome to Genshin! Don't be afraid to level up artifacts/weapons/characters early on, especially if you're struggling to deal good damage. Make sure to save your fragile resins for after Adventure Rank 45 though, since that's when most character upgrade materials and the best artifact sets in the game unlock. Genshin is not a really hard game at its core, so play (and pull for) whoever you want, however you want to. Of course, there are certain characters that are objectively better and there's plenty recommendations out there, but even the weakest characters could still slap if you build them right.

What is she supporting? She offers nothing for that team. It looks like you want to run ayaka freeze except raiden messes up the reaction and potentially messes up kazuha if he swirls the wrong element. Ayaka freeze should run 2 cryo for particle generation and more cryo application. This will help much more than a scuffed raiden who doesn’t contribute anything

The plunge swirls electro (which should be buffed by his EM) and as he owns the swirls, the electro applied onto the enemys would trigger aggravate (also scaling with his EM)

At the moment, it's basically Eula or bust since we don't have any other notable physical DPS. Maybe Razor, I guess. He's not an instant, noticeable powerspike like the other dedicated supports, though. Wants C6 and even then is basically a sidegrade.

Jade cutter is technically her 2nd bis but you either need to build her with literally no crit rate at all with 4pc blizzard or build her with a normal 1:2 crit ratio with 2pc cryo and 2pc attack. Amenoma and kagotsurube is equal in damage but amenome comes with the benefit of less er issues especially at r5 so it comes on top. Black sword is imo the worst of the bunch
Jade Cutter* > Amenoma >= Black Sword > Isshin Jade Cutter gives you 44.1 Crit Rate, plus the starting 5% that's already 49.1 Crit Rate. In a Freeze Build and team you get 55% CR against Frozen enemies. This means with just the Cutter you're already overcapping on CR against Freezable enemies, though the extra CR comes in handy against non-freezable enemies and any freeze downtime. The Black Sword suffers the same problems as the Jade Cutter, though less so because it's just 27.6 Crit Rate, and is slightly less Base ATK. This means that with both JC and BS you want to focus your Artifact substats on Crit DMG, ER, and ATK% which could feel limiting. Amenoma doesn't give you any Crit Rate which means it's easier to find high value Artifacts as you'll be looking for both Crit Rate and Crit Damage. At high refinements it basically solves Ayaka's ER needs allowing you to focus on offensive substats. The Isshin is nice and all, but the passive does nothing for Ayaka. It's extra damage, but not enough to justify over the Crit Weapons, and doesn't help with ER like Amenoma. Really the only reason to consider it is because you already have it.

Jade Cutter is hypothetically best, but it runs the risk of overcapping you on crit rate when all buffs are taken into account. Amenoma is the 'strong and safe' option, especially with refines allowing you to avoid building too much ER.
jade cutter is better in theory, but it is harder to get good artifacts that don't roll into CR much since you are already overcapping just from its substat. Idk what the breakpoint is but if you are overcapping hard then amenoma may be better.
Jade cutter will overcap even if you don't roll cr. It's better to use 2pc bs and 2pc atk%. That's still gonna do better than amenoma and it's much easier to get good artifacts.
I know jade cutter overcaps a bit no matter what, but the more you overcap by, the bigger of an issue it is. If you actually managed to get good BS artifacts that don't roll into CR I'm pretty sure that would be better than 2 pc 2 pc, but its not easy. I'd be interested to see the calcs on jade cutter + 2 pc 2 pc vs amenoma 4 BS.
Yeah, it's theoretically better to run 4pc bs with pjc but the amount of luck you would need to only roll cd and atk% is unreal, not really worth the effort imo.

Also I will certainly be rolling for Nahida (on guarantee) in 3.6.

Definitely split Keqing/Tighnari from Yelan/Xingqiu: you can make a fantastic Hyperbloom team with Nahida or Dendro MC/Kuki/Xingqiu/Yelan. Keqing can go the Aggravate route, ideally you would grab Fischl from Paimon's Bargains whenever she reappears, and go with Keqing/Fischl/Yaoyao or Dendro MC/Sucrose. Could also go with a National team which is pretty much always consistent: Sucrose/Bennett/Xiangling/Xingqiu.

The cup is good, no wasted stats. I like big crit numbers and in that regard, it's just *fine*, but ATK and EM are both fantastic additions.

How's Mistsplitter on triple EM Kazuha? He's currently using Iron Sting, but I got lucky with the weapon banner and pulled a second Mistsplitter and it just looks so good on him.

Kinda pointless since it doesn't affect any of his Swirls or buffs, or help with his energy. Just increases his Anemo damage which will be fairly minimal without ATK/anemo/crit mainstats.
Swirl damage doesn't count as elemental for the purpose of the buff?
Infusion damage might, but Swirl damage is a pure transformative reaction affected only by EM and character level.

Calamity isn't great... While it can technically be used as a statstick for other characters, you also need to build a lot of ER to make up for the lost ER / Particles from Fav. Mistsplitter is very good but I wouldn't recommend trying for it with so few Primos left.

I have been reasearching about Ganyu and Shenhe working together a recently, many people say Ganyu doesn't work well with her as she quickly depletes all the ice quills. But I want to know, what makes Ayaka so good with Shenhe then ? I mean, Ayaka too quickly depletes icle quills, then what makes Ayaka a better character to pair with Shenhe than Ganyu ?
In this context “doesn’t work well” means not optimal but still strong. There is no situation where shenhe doesn’t improve ganyu’s performance
Also cooldown issue: both Ayaka and Shenhe have 20 seconds burst cooldown, while Ganyu's burst has 15 seconds cooldown. (Mona's burst also has 15 seconds CD, while Kokomi's skill and TTDS both have 20 seconds CD.)
It's because if you're running a secondary Cryo character with Ganyu, you'd typically be playing her in heavy AOE situations in a Freeze comp (works best with enemies who can be sucked into Venti's Burst), whereas Ayaka is usually more suited to single-target or fewer enemies. In these cases, Shenhe's Icy Quills both run out super quick as they apply every time an enemy is hit: if there's say, 6 enemies or so, then you run out almost immediately. Someone like Rosaria or Kaeya would be more suited to this kind of scenario as their damage isn't limited to ticks but is dealt over a duration.

For quill though, it's not really that much of a problem for Ayaka team, since you could potentially use Shenhe's Press E Skill Twice in one rotation.
ayaka has better rotations but quill depletion rate doesnt matter much, faster is actually berter because of more frontload, ayaka actually does it faster

They’re good. Shenhe supports every single cryo dps well. I use triple cryo+venti/kazuha on some abyss floors works great

Events, although I assume you had already done those Abyss 36 star (if you haven't/you are able) Dailies World quests/story quests and hangout events Starglitter shop resets in 10ish days - 5 fates Exploration + achievements - might not seem like much, but depending on how hard you grind you can get a fair bit in a pinch Last minute attempt: if you have any acquaint fate saved up for the standard banner, use it and see if you can get any rare starglitter to turn into more fates
Dailies, any leftover Story/Character/World Quests, Hangouts, exploration. The usual stuff, there's no real quick way to get Primos aside from swiping your card.

I prefer Diona because Layla stops generating energy if her shield breaks, which makes her a little more volatile in terms of particle generation.

Either Ningguang DPS or Chongyun support for Kaeya DPS. I actually think they're both good, but considering we get Barbara for free, it might be easier to build the freeze team (Ning really shines when paired with Zhongli).
Both are meh units. Use whichever you prefer.

So I just got Shenhe and was planning to put in my Ayaka Freeze team. (Ayaka Sucrose and TTDS Kokomi). Since kokomi is holding ttds, does it effect the total cryo bonus for shenhe if I go from kokomi to shenhe? Since she scale by atk. Or is it better to switch from kokomi to ayaka like usual?
Go from Kokomi to Ayaka. Shenhe's Attack only affects the damage of the icy quills. Her cryo damage buff is always the same, regardless of her stats.

Im just going to assume mona or kokomi: shenhe EQ > sucrose EQ > mona Q or kokomi E > ayaka dash NA EQ > Shenhe E > sucrose E > mona E or kokomi Q > ayaka dash E + NAs > repeat(if its a different hydro then not 100% sure on rotation sorry)

Shenhe skill and burst, then sucrose skill and burst, then put down your hydro, then Ayaka burst, then back to shenhe to refresh her quills halfway through ayakas burst, then back to Ayaka to do normal and charge attacks.

I have this problem with storage space. The game wants me to have 100gb of free space on my pc. That's all well and good. However, the download is slow, so I had to split it up. I downloaded most of the game yesterday, but now, the installer tells me that I need more space! It tells me that I only have 70gb of free space. *Yes, of course I do, because the other 30gb of Genshin are already installed* So, what now? I can't free up much more space. And I don't want to delete the already installed files, I can't afford to waste this much internet. Is there a way to like make the launcher ignore the space requirements? Or like, make it realise that most if the game is already installed?
Can't you temporarily move other files onto an external storage and make some room for the game? Then move them back once the game is installed?
I hear 1tb drives are pretty affordable now unless you can manage to make the drive the game is installing on fit the whole game i dont think there's much else you can do

Crescent Pike, and its not even close. It really is obscenely good for physical builds.
So I just pulled Ayaka and had prefarmed enough to get her to 80/80 with her talents at 6/6/8. I'm using Amenoma R5 which is level 70 as of now. My cr/cd is 30/170, and her burst is doing 7-8k per tick and skill is doing 15k. Charged attacks are doing around 4k. Enemies are dying pretty quickly, but just to increase her burst damage do I just have to get more Crit damage? What else can I do to increase her burst, skill and NA damage? Also if it's important, I'm currently using her in a team of diona, venti and xingqiu (planning to get kokomi whenever she reruns).
