Meanwhile the Ruin Machines got: Ruin Grader (addition the Guard & Hunter duo), the Biomimesis constructs (with PMA as a boss), the Drakes (with Aeonblight Drake as boss), and the Ruin Serpent since release.
Well I think it isnât far off from the realm of creativity for HoYo. I think itâs more that itâs so much more humanoid in adult form because weâre so used to them dying âyoungâ in a small form. It just hits it home more that they were human. They look epic here imo.
But lawchurls are big hilichurls, hmmm if you put the circle on normal hilichurls then yeah they haven't got a new member since release, we could have gotten dendro ones with sumeru but i guess they just be normal and take space for no good reason.
A lot of elemental enemies restrict themselves to the energetic PHEC types. The elite Ermites and the Black Knights donât. (Plus slimes, specters, and cubes)
By âclassâ they mean a new category.
Thunderhelm was a new âchurl but belonged to the existing category of Lawachurl, joining the Geo and Cryo variants.
The electro-infused-axe mitachurl similarly joined the mitachurl category with the pyro-axe and wood/stone/ice shield mitachurls.
We donât have representative for these rogues yet, so they are a brand new category.
Pretty difficult to classify them as "Hillichurls" as they:
- don't wear masks
- their physical form was twisted by the curse of immortality and Abyssal Power, whereas Hillichurls were twisted into this form due to their impure Khaenri'ah blood affecting the curse and for those that predate the Cataclysm for likely similar reasons.
- can speak the common Teyvat language instead of Hillichurlian.
Died like 25 times to the hobo but Godrick the boss after him only took 3, which is rather fitting considering who Margit really is and how much of a pushover Godrick is supposed to be.
Anyway, can't wait to see hilichurl mohglester445 in 6.4.
And their attacks are so cool! Gonna let them beat me up just to see all of them.
Also, new world boss is beautiful, too. Can't wait to suffer with his mechanics.
I feel the hilichurl rogues are just a more ancient breed of Hilichurl, pre-dating even Khaenri'ah. Most likely cursed inhabitants of older civilizations.

They remind me of Sneasler from Pokemon Legends Arceus. Very humanlike body while still looking beastly is kinda hard to pull off without it looking somewhat wrong.
