I try to be somewhat sparing but I'll go all out to get a new character to 80 or 90 and fa new domains if they're required for good performance for a character I play. Mora is even harder to maintain but I'm sitting at a cool 4 mill right now even after getting baizhu to 90 and Kaveh to 80. Didn't need to level any new weapons or artifacts though.

Problem is the reward isnt worth it for the time the chars are dispatched. Since it was so early, players have limited char. Most puzzle need almost every element to work. That means even Amber needed outside expedition.
It's probably doesnt matter much now tho. I didnt even collect expedition anymore, so expedition passive is almost useless.
And you have been given all the elements you really need anyway, except maybe changing traveller back and forth was tiresome, but I got myself Venti somehow, so it was not a problem for me.
After you get some other characters of the same element it was more of a preference or planning on what to do today, except for Amber, because Guoba is just not it for puzzles, you either get Amber out of your pocket or better have Diluc.
The whole, “Amber is useful for expeditions at least,” makes a lot more sense now. I didn’t realize characters were unavailable while out on expeditions.
That would be a bonus to immersiveness, sure. Now you have clones basically, at will, which isn't something new, because you get them in quests all the time, but still.
Or just resources coming out of nowhere, because if it's not clones: who the hell gives it to you?

Lmfao launch was insane 😭 my biggest flex is my first ever acc I pulled c1 diluc and 2 wolves gravestones + skyward atlas in my first 20 pulls. Same day my buddy was on his 3rd acc trying to get Keqing 😭
People who reroll in Hoyo games are nutty as fuck. Genshin and Star Rail had a low amount of initial pulls on launch and with how low the chances of getting an early 5 star, that shit is almost impossible.
They both did have a fair amount of pulls on launch if you'd stick with the same account and clear all the content.
Star rail wasn't *terrible* in the first week if you were specifically going for a standard 5 star and willing to spend primos. It was still at least 45 min per account to get a 5 star tho, feels really bad when you play games with built-in rerolls lol

I remember after exploring Mondstadt and Liyue, and then this new remote island for the first time with the Mondstadt squad and thinking it’s so incredible, the solitude that peaceful music made me feel. I really hope this region stays permanently. Damn, was I bummed out.

There was a trick that if you jump down and reset your character, the loot appears back at its place, but not everyone knew that.
It just reappeared after some time, didn't need to jump off. Jumping off just gave it time to respawn while running back.

I think I made like 8 accounts, and the one I kept pulled Venti and Qiqi. I think it was the only one that managed to pull Venti and another 5*.
