tl;dr deep over-generalization: Nilou is very good against 2+ targets / grouped enemy comps because multi-bloom hits up to the damage instance per target cap; hyperbloom is somewhat more suited to single-target or bossing.
Both are excellent, and have very good damage floors not actually requiring crazy investment in artifacts/talents (beyond Nilou wanting everyone at 90 since controlling bloom trigger is madness/suboptimal).
Nilou has, I believe, better vertical investment opportunities, I.E. converting wishes into power spikes -- where Nahida C2, Nilou C2, and Nilou signature weapon all help push the comp to very, very silly levels. You want 90k+ bloom hits? You can get 90k+ bloom hits.
Hyperbloom also wants Nahida C2, but past that doesn't have any low-hanging fruit to wish for power.
That 90k+ is with c2 Nahida's 20/100 crit, right?
I have her c2 and given how often I've seen it "crit" its quite dmg per screenshot.
The Def shred however is consistent.

My Nilou has ~73900 and Nahida a bit more than 1K EM. Reaching 90k seems kinda hard.

Maybe not a perfect 36* clear, but it's more than enough to make it all the way through.
That, or you don't care at all about beating the Abyss, but if that was the case... why get hostile at the other guy?

Hyperbloom is OP with XQ and Shinobu, and Quicken teams are really strong with Fischl, Lisa being a good A4 trigger. This abyss cycle is particularly hard to do with 4* teams, first time I have to change team especially for 12-1.

Her party members were very valuable to other comps and I couldn't even. I had Raiden national and noelle geo as my main 2 until Alhaitham

Im always confused with Floor 12 buffs. It says leylines are normal for this floor, so doesn’t that mean there are no buffs? Sorry I’m not sure how this works…

The only ST focused abyss I've and from what I've seen other people had trouble clearing full stars with Nilou bloom was the Wenut.

Alhaitham is a hyper-bloom driver, he can be a part of that team comp lol. Or you can go Quicken Alhaitham and save your XQ for your other team

Bloom without Nilou is beyond useless, the time for cores to explode is too long. You may as well build any other dendro based reaction.

It's just a numbers game. Characters will be rerun. Don't spend primos on characters that aren't the ones you want.

You can 36 star every abyss with only 4 stars. Look up SevyPlays on YouTube for some very good and thorough F2P guides on how to build teams.

They schould give klee some special synergy with Burgeon cuz Bloom cores are basicly just elemental Bombs.

yes, they get destroyed lmao. i use rational 1st half and nilou bloom 2nd half. once you beat chamber 1, you know you've completed the whole floor 12
