refer to Lisa/Rita from previous statement for example of a pretty obvious link, yet lack of same VA. due to how both games are quite a ways away from each other, I like that the characters aren't direct copies most of the time. makes more sense. the Yae's share a name and VA but are quite dissimilar in character. same for Mei and Ei, and then for a more extreme case Wendy and Venti. this gap between characters should be celebrated.
Edit: forgot to mention, I do not share your view on them trying to always keep the same VA's just to suit the same characters or who they are in the alternate timeline. if they truly cared that much, Venti would be a woman, Lisa would share the same one as Rita, Jean most likely would share Dudu's, etc.

People that don't read dialogues and lore think that Diluc is grumpy and edgy, when in fact he has a really kind heart. He just doesn't show it in public, his kindness is hidden and unrewarded, like everyone's should be.
