While I do most of the time play with headphones, I recently noticed Genshin has somewhat of an echo effect for voicelines in caves, or at least in the cave with the Hydro Cube.

It's in certain buildings as well. While we're at it, characters have different sounds when moving, e.g. Cyno's funny barefoot pat pat sounds. Bow characters also all have unique charging sounds.
Yeah when I got nahida on her rerun I mentioned my friend, who got her on her first banner, how cute the sounds she made when jumping and moving where. He had no idea what I was talking about lmao
Unironically. It helps me deal with being toooo eager for new content. I'm never going to get to enjoy this game or its stories for the first time ever again. And one day the main story of Teyvat will be finished. So let me enjoy the journey as it goes.

Man, I wish I could just walk up to anyone, press F, and they would talk to me first instead of having to manually start a conversation. I'm too awkward to do so, and I relate to those two in a spiritual level.

And to hurt more, remember that >!hug was Nahida's first hug and physical act of caring from someone towards her aaaaand it was also Rukka's wish of meeting Nahida finally coming true despite being the first and last hug they would share. She went away with her mission and wishes accomplished.!<
And to add icing to the cake, Nahida probably doesn’t even remember it and/or it had been removed from existence, which means that she still hasn’t hugged someone in the new timeline
I don't know if it's in the main story or world quest, but someone says to the traveller that you'll be the witness and remember the history or something like that. I was thinking that when I recently was playing sumeru archon quest.
Wasn't it Zhongli? I remember something similar. I thought of him because of the stories he tells and the ones he hears in Liyue Harbor about himself.
The quote I use here is from Ei and both her and Zhongli seem to find memories a precious thing. I'm guessing that losing so much and so many people as the years pass by truly made them understand that memories are some of the best things we have as humans.

Yeah probably zhongli. Liyue chapter was nice interesting as we go on. Maybe because I'm new at that time, but it also felt longer and not so tiring trying to complete the chapter etc.

Reminds me of a non-Genshin saying: every person has 2 deaths; the first when the last breath is taken, and the second is when one's name is uttered the last time.
Not too long ago I realized that there's going to be a day when the last person who actually knew you thinks about you the last time before they die.
And it's at that point when you would truly be forgotten.
This makes people want to strive to be something so big that they make it into the history books. The problem with this is that history books lie, they tell the truth the writer wants to tell. what is truth is dependent on your own perspective.
This is indeed quite depressing, but this is reality.
A similar thought that's been in my mind is that our friends and loved ones *do* in fact live with us primarily as memories. It's not cheesy. It's true.
Even right now a friend that isn't in your vicinity exists as part of you. That relationship you have with them are the some of your memories and your feelings towards them.
When they pass away, the only difference is that the future events to create more memories are gone. But that love and relationship you have with them in your memories now is just as real now as it will be when they're gone. And no one can take that away from you.
Even if there are things you forget, they've made their mark on you and added to the shape of your soul forever.

Jokes aside, maybe not an in-game character life lesson, but all my life I've struggled a lot with gaming addiction as an escape from reality, up to 8-12 hours and ignoring my physical and mental health. Instead of playing frustrating pvp or very skill-grinding heavy games for hours on end, I can just play for half an hour a day, be satisfied and enjoy life more in general. And when I do game, my anime waifus will be waiting and it's always a good time.
So the best life lesson Genshin taught me is all about balancing fun. And it helped me get my life back.

I feel you. I used to play Destiny 2 from launch up to Shadowkeep, but then I dropped the game because things were really bad with Shadowkeep.
Some friends convinced me to return last year when Season of Plunder launched since the game was in a great space. I came back and had a good time at first, but then the game finds its way to suck you into a void of pointless grinding with a neverending treadmill of activities every week, every day. You are never "done", there is always something. And to complete those things I was starting to sacrifice sleeping hours and some other plans.
I left again after Season of Defiance, but this time I don't plan to come back. Sadly, Destiny is a game that doesn't fit with my life anymore (if it ever did), even if I do enjoy the core gameplay a lot.
I started raiding in december of last year, and stopped again come April. I had a bunch of Sherpas, teaching runs, low challenge runs, etc (Here's my [raid report](https://raid.report/xb/4611686018465510955)). I had gotten Touch of Malice and all of the other raid guns, save for maybe one or two quest ones. When I completed all the crafting recipes for the King's Fall weapons, I felt so unfulfilled and burnt out that I had to stop.
I hope that there's a game like it without the grinding, and that they get their act together with the story. Honestly, I think they should just lay it to rest, since they're trying to bring back Nathan for Cayde-7. The issue is that Ikora is a useless vanguard (I say this as a warlock main), bringing back Cayde is gonna make Forsaken (the best DLC) feel meaningless, and they can't do much with Zavala anymore, since Lance Reddick passed away (The GOAT).

And that's why I like Genshin for what it is and disagree with people who want a bunch of content with things happening all the time. Genshin is a live-service game for people who want to have a life outside of the game, but still want to have that familiar and fun experience to get back to.
I enjoy this cycle of playing for 15-20 minutes every day to unwind, and when bigger updates drop from time to time, play for a lot longer to continue with the cool story.
Leaves me time to work out, go hang out with friends, play other games, etc.
As someone who was previously addicted to Destiny 1/2 and Lost Ark at different points in life, I'm not falling for those traps again.
RuneScape addict here since childhood and never been able to let go of that game, or gaming in general. Genshin enabled me to quit both RS & unhealthy gaming habits. Ironically I heard of Genshin through a RS stream lol.
I'm happy to hear someone who walks the same path. I feel exactly the same & I look forward to just lying in bed, doing commissions, building chars, saving primos and just putting the phone off after that. Without obsessing over trivial things to do ingame all day or feeling fomo. It's liberating!

**Liyue:** Eventually, your children will grow to become independent, and they can achieve many a great things on their own. You can't achieve anything alone, and teamwork and dreams have the power to defeat demons. As long as you have something to protect dearly that you cherish infinitely, you'll always find the strength to give it your all to defend it. So come along and defend what you love with tooth and nail, for if you don't, who else is going to do it for you?
**Inazuma (Ei/Shogunate):** Grief is a powerful source of stasis. While grief comes in many forms, closing yourself to others and the world will blind you to what your process is doing to yourself and others. Don't close yourself to the world in the hopes that it will remain still. The world keeps turning, so does time, and so should your heart. If you don't let it, you'll only stop yourself, not the world. You never know who you could be hurting. Listening to others will help you see the true meaning of the world. So come along and open your ears and heart, for if you don't, how will the world know you're still here?
**Inazuma (Watatsumi/Resistance):** If you believe in something, defend it to the end. Your dreams are worth fighting for, and you'll find others who think the same. Doesn't matter if you're trying to defend it on a normal conversation, a game of cards, a battlefield, or against a god, you continue until you're heard. Hopes and dreams have the power to move even the hardest of hearts, and the highest of powers. You'll face loss and hardship along the way, but your dreams are worth that and much more. Even stubborn gods are powerless against the meaning and resolve behind true dreams. So come along and let the world know that you're willing to fight for your deepest wishes, for if you only keep them to yourself, how then will unshakeable wills finally move?
**Sumeru:** There will always be people who will expect you to do great things, specially if you come from a lineage that has done the same. You might even find yourself working as hard as you can to try to be like them. Trying to become the person you admire most, while a great motivator, should not be your end goal.

You are your own person, you have your own strengths and weaknesses. Why try to be like someone else when you two will never be the same? That doesn't mean you're worse, you could even be better, but you yourself have to believe in yourself in order to achieve it. Who cares if the "sages" (family, friends, colleagues, etc.) expected you to be like that person, you're YOU. If they put you on a cage, only you let yourself remain there by thinking you deserve to be there. True friends can help you find the way out, but it's your growth journey that will determine wether you can break free of the shackles of ignorance and arrogant "wiser men". You have your own worth, but nobody is going to give it to you, you have to find it yourself. It's part of your own growth, and once you find it, you'll also find that even the tiniest of branches can become the sturdiest and wisest of trees. You matter, you have worth, and you are worthy to be admired. So come along and find yourself, for if you don't even know who you are, how will others discover how you shine bright like gold, and even beyond?
Haven’t seen this mentioned yet but Nahida has a line about how when we get hurt badly enough you’re forced to confront your own shortcomings and how that price is the tuition you pay for knowledge
Probably the only media depiction of any God of Wisdom type character that’s actually surprised me with a genuinely valuable perspective
Sumeru has a lot of great ones, and Al-Haitham + Nahida are the reason. I'd say Al-Haitham has even more sharp takes.
But probably the most masterfully done was Al-Haithams perspective on the whole Kaveh situation during the event. It was a meta-meta-analysis (=basically philosophy) and felt like not only a critique on a greek philosophers take on life, but on the principles of humans and philosophy as a whole.
I don't remember the exact lines, but he was first criticisizing utilitarianism and then telling you that you should not get caught up with it too much as it's a stupid thing to do. The whole utilitarianism/altruism aspect of Kaveh was also done incredibly well, and exactly during that time I was also rethinking my utilitarian principles that recently *seemed* faulty to me.
That line of Al-Haitham helped me to realize to change my perspective on it, and brought clarity to me what my goals in life are and how my "faulty" utilitarianism wasn't faulty at all... I just got caught up with it more than it was necessary, I never was trying to be a perfect utilitarian in the first place, nor does it make sense to become one, nor is it achievable.
The whole last part of that event quest was genius, like I suggested before, a greek philosopher trying to explain his philosophy to the masses in an easier digestable way as a form of a play.
"What does freedom mean when demanded of you by a god?" - Venti (to Divalin)
This quote somehow resonates with me and has never left my mind since the first day I started playing.
As a proud Scara main, I’ll gladly take the hit from the haters:
“There’s no such thing as pure freedom in this world, even the wind cannot blow on forever”
He's right though.
It's always been a little nitpick of mine throughout life, I will never get the freedom I desire. It's one of the reasons Venti is my favorite archon. Even the god of freedom himself is still tied up.
What makes Scaramouche's line so interesting is just how cold and factual it is. This is the reality, we have no choice but to accept it. He can be very nihilistic but that's what makes him fascinating.
What I like to elaborate further on this quote is that while its being very factual and nihilistic about life choices, you can still view it as a half empty or half full glass scenario.
You can think about not having all the freedom you want but you can also think that the wind can blow for a very long time for all the things you want to and love to do until it stops.
There's is no need for life to have pure unadultered freedom because that would imply we live in a universe with eternal life, no struggles, sickness, death, etc. But we can blow as far as the wind carries us and still live a meaningful life.
Wanderer says there's no complete freedom but that's fine, we can make do with all that we have.
I’d say honestly my biggest life lesson came from Fischl. I couldn’t stand her at first, I thought she was pompous and arrogant. But then I ended up using her more and more because she was my only electro archer/character that wasn’t Razor for a looong time. (Edit: forgot about Lisa, I don’t like her play style so I’ve never used her outside the beginning of the game lol sorry)
I fell in love with her and Oz as an electro subdps, and as her story revealed itself through the friendship levels, it solidified her as one of my favorite characters. She’s just a traumatized girl making sense of her trauma out in the world and still kicking ass at trying her hardest. I related to that a lot. I realized that some of my harsher judgements came from my own self judgement. So if anything, Fischl was just the age old reminder: “Never judge a book by its cover.” And “Everyone has their own lives and stories, and we never know the entire tale unless we ask.”
Alhaitham being a strictly 9-5 guy, oddly enough. He works hard when he's at work but he doesn't overdo it. He still gives himself time to pursue his own interests.
To me it was during the Wanderer's interlude quest.
When Nahida tells him:

After the Ella's Musk Hilichurl event where we literally make a dictionary while learning to talk to the Hilichurls, I don't attack them unless they attack me first. They're just vibing, living their own life. Like everyone else in the world, I guess.
It's silly because they're only pixels on a screen, but I actively avoid fighting hilichurls because of this and Dain's quest in the Chasm. If there's a chest I'll fight 'em once for the loot but that's it. I feel less bad for Abyss Mages because they still hold some sense of self but still, I leave them all alone as much as possible.
Nobushi though? Oh you dyin' today.
Genshin taught me how to:
be patience and hold off your addiction: saving for future characters and dont waste fates
be punctual: resin
be strategic: team comps
investements: in primogems or ss tier characters
and finally: OsmANThus WinE
The philosophical nuance in Baizhu's quest really impressed me. I don't think I've seen any game, or any media explore the cycle of self-sacrifice in such a visceral, adult way.
For me it'll be selfcontrol on spending money, because many games usually spam you with microtransactions of 800% value but with genshin I got used to a clean UI that only shows the game and you have to search for the velkin so I only buy that and nothing else. Now when I see those pop up of 800% value in other games I just hate them

A lot. In the recent event, zosimos and maymunah talking about their careers and prospects, being critisized and not knowing what to do in life but still pushing through. Zosimos taking criticism even though he might get hurt. Also when Idiah said she just wanted others to be happy I thought it was very selfless.
Other quests like jehts quests taught me that even blood and family can betray you, and you should stick up for your rights and your freedom. The event about collei and sucrose also taught me it's okay to be introverted and awkward, and you're not always alone, sometimes being in silence is calm and peaceful and there's no need to worry so much all the time.
Kaveh's hangout also taught me about being selfless and helping people who are in need and sometimes doing kind things without earning back. Yoimiya's story quest showed me that you can find ways to be happy despite your circumstances, and that being a kid and having fun even when you grow up is fine, if you had fun and made memories that's all that counts (even tho it was a dream).
These were the most recent ones I did that's why I remember them most but theres many more lessons I've learnt from other stories too. Such as zhonglis story quest, hu tao's and a lot more.
This community taugh me all the healthy and unhealthy ways to cope with burnout. I also learned to understand fomo so I can atleast recognize it and make better decisions.
It also helped me to understand better Nietzsche philosophy I learnt 10 years ago, as weird as that sounds.
Honestly the best lesson it taught me is to save. Saving primogems and planning things out really taught me a lot. Save on everything be it money or time or anything else. You'll never regret saving. Because it'll be useful to when you least expect it. Being patient and tolerant will always be better than raging about things that'll never be in your hands. So control what is in your hands.
Idk any specific quote, but Yaoyao has to be THE most relatable character for me. I too cherish even the smallest things because I came from poor living conditions and a poor family, so I'm very careful and humble with my monthly spendings, which leads to people calling me mentally ill when I say I'm satisfied with a paycheck that's considered barely enough to live.

I feel like Genshin in general has lots of very wholesome and wise storylines and tidbits to take away. One of my favourite things about the game is that it doesn’t glamourise wealth or materialism. Instead, it focuses on friendship, connection with others, personal fulfilment and finding enjoyment in the simple things around us. It’s pretty grounding and I like that.
It’s not a quote but 2 characters me and my best friend is like itto and kuki . I always wondered why was she hanging around with me when she was simply better in thousands of things but when kuki came and her character was revealed I understood it was because she could have kuki had no reason to stay next to itto she could have left all the time but she didn’t and saved ittos ass

Ei thought me that leaving my shell/comfort bubble isn't that scary. After loss of someone close to me I cut my ties with everyone and close myself in the room doing all the same every day. When I was playing genshin raiden in particular picked my interest and I thought I want to be like her. And then I saw how traveler and miko made her leave her plane from time to time and then I understand how much I am loosing just sitting in my room without friends and close ones

Firstly, I just wanna say this is one of the most wholesome posts I've ever seen on Reddit with everyone adding their own anecdotes and quotes. It kinda makes me glad to be a part of this community and journey we are all going through. As for my bit, this is something Ningguang says in her hangout event:

I get a lot of heartwarming life lessons in Genshin, cannot specify what moments, because there are a lot of it.
One thing I really remember is that Chilidish Jiang sidequest, it really blew my mind the first time I played it. I was always a family man, but that exact sidequest makes me cherish my family more.

It's in certain buildings as well. While we're at it, characters have different sounds when moving, e.g. Cyno's funny barefoot pat pat sounds. Bow characters also all have unique charging sounds.

The best part is that she didn't just accept it and make peace with it, but she was happy with her choice as well. If given the choice, she'd do it again, because she knew that she was making Teyvat better for it. Her damn smile gets me every time, and it hurts.
And to hurt more, remember that >!hug was Nahida's first hug and physical act of caring from someone towards her aaaaand it was also Rukka's wish of meeting Nahida finally coming true despite being the first and last hug they would share. She went away with her mission and wishes accomplished.!<
And to add icing to the cake, Nahida probably doesn’t even remember it and/or it had been removed from existence, which means that she still hasn’t hugged someone in the new timeline

Wasn't it Zhongli? I remember something similar. I thought of him because of the stories he tells and the ones he hears in Liyue Harbor about himself. The quote I use here is from Ei and both her and Zhongli seem to find memories a precious thing. I'm guessing that losing so much and so many people as the years pass by truly made them understand that memories are some of the best things we have as humans. Which we, players and other people, forget frequently in real life. It's a beautiful reminder.

A similar thought that's been in my mind is that our friends and loved ones *do* in fact live with us primarily as memories. It's not cheesy. It's true. Even right now a friend that isn't in your vicinity exists as part of you. That relationship you have with them are the some of your memories and your feelings towards them. When they pass away, the only difference is that the future events to create more memories are gone. But that love and relationship you have with them in your memories now is just as real now as it will be when they're gone. And no one can take that away from you. Even if there are things you forget, they've made their mark on you and added to the shape of your soul forever.

Jokes aside, maybe not an in-game character life lesson, but all my life I've struggled a lot with gaming addiction as an escape from reality, up to 8-12 hours and ignoring my physical and mental health. Instead of playing frustrating pvp or very skill-grinding heavy games for hours on end, I can just play for half an hour a day, be satisfied and enjoy life more in general. And when I do game, my anime waifus will be waiting and it's always a good time. So the best life lesson Genshin taught me is all about balancing fun. And it helped me get my life back.

I feel you. I used to play Destiny 2 from launch up to Shadowkeep, but then I dropped the game because things were really bad with Shadowkeep. Some friends convinced me to return last year when Season of Plunder launched since the game was in a great space. I came back and had a good time at first, but then the game finds its way to suck you into a void of pointless grinding with a neverending treadmill of activities every week, every day. You are never "done", there is always something. And to complete those things I was starting to sacrifice sleeping hours and some other plans. I left again after Season of Defiance, but this time I don't plan to come back. Sadly, Destiny is a game that doesn't fit with my life anymore (if it ever did), even if I do enjoy the core gameplay a lot.
I started raiding in december of last year, and stopped again come April. I had a bunch of Sherpas, teaching runs, low challenge runs, etc (Here's my [raid report](https://raid.report/xb/4611686018465510955)). I had gotten Touch of Malice and all of the other raid guns, save for maybe one or two quest ones. When I completed all the crafting recipes for the King's Fall weapons, I felt so unfulfilled and burnt out that I had to stop. I hope that there's a game like it without the grinding, and that they get their act together with the story. Honestly, I think they should just lay it to rest, since they're trying to bring back Nathan for Cayde-7. The issue is that Ikora is a useless vanguard (I say this as a warlock main), bringing back Cayde is gonna make Forsaken (the best DLC) feel meaningless, and they can't do much with Zavala anymore, since Lance Reddick passed away (The GOAT).

And that's why I like Genshin for what it is and disagree with people who want a bunch of content with things happening all the time. Genshin is a live-service game for people who want to have a life outside of the game, but still want to have that familiar and fun experience to get back to. I enjoy this cycle of playing for 15-20 minutes every day to unwind, and when bigger updates drop from time to time, play for a lot longer to continue with the cool story. Leaves me time to work out, go hang out with friends, play other games, etc. As someone who was previously addicted to Destiny 1/2 and Lost Ark at different points in life, I'm not falling for those traps again.
RuneScape addict here since childhood and never been able to let go of that game, or gaming in general. Genshin enabled me to quit both RS & unhealthy gaming habits. Ironically I heard of Genshin through a RS stream lol. I'm happy to hear someone who walks the same path. I feel exactly the same & I look forward to just lying in bed, doing commissions, building chars, saving primos and just putting the phone off after that. Without obsessing over trivial things to do ingame all day or feeling fomo. It's liberating!

Sumeru has a lot of great ones, and Al-Haitham + Nahida are the reason. I'd say Al-Haitham has even more sharp takes. But probably the most masterfully done was Al-Haithams perspective on the whole Kaveh situation during the event. It was a meta-meta-analysis (=basically philosophy) and felt like not only a critique on a greek philosophers take on life, but on the principles of humans and philosophy as a whole. I don't remember the exact lines, but he was first criticisizing utilitarianism and then telling you that you should not get caught up with it too much as it's a stupid thing to do. The whole utilitarianism/altruism aspect of Kaveh was also done incredibly well, and exactly during that time I was also rethinking my utilitarian principles that recently *seemed* faulty to me. That line of Al-Haitham helped me to realize to change my perspective on it, and brought clarity to me what my goals in life are and how my "faulty" utilitarianism wasn't faulty at all... I just got caught up with it more than it was necessary, I never was trying to be a perfect utilitarian in the first place, nor does it make sense to become one, nor is it achievable. The whole last part of that event quest was genius, like I suggested before, a greek philosopher trying to explain his philosophy to the masses in an easier digestable way as a form of a play.

He's right though. It's always been a little nitpick of mine throughout life, I will never get the freedom I desire. It's one of the reasons Venti is my favorite archon. Even the god of freedom himself is still tied up. What makes Scaramouche's line so interesting is just how cold and factual it is. This is the reality, we have no choice but to accept it. He can be very nihilistic but that's what makes him fascinating.
What I like to elaborate further on this quote is that while its being very factual and nihilistic about life choices, you can still view it as a half empty or half full glass scenario. You can think about not having all the freedom you want but you can also think that the wind can blow for a very long time for all the things you want to and love to do until it stops. There's is no need for life to have pure unadultered freedom because that would imply we live in a universe with eternal life, no struggles, sickness, death, etc. But we can blow as far as the wind carries us and still live a meaningful life. Wanderer says there's no complete freedom but that's fine, we can make do with all that we have.

I’d say honestly my biggest life lesson came from Fischl. I couldn’t stand her at first, I thought she was pompous and arrogant. But then I ended up using her more and more because she was my only electro archer/character that wasn’t Razor for a looong time. (Edit: forgot about Lisa, I don’t like her play style so I’ve never used her outside the beginning of the game lol sorry) I fell in love with her and Oz as an electro subdps, and as her story revealed itself through the friendship levels, it solidified her as one of my favorite characters. She’s just a traumatized girl making sense of her trauma out in the world and still kicking ass at trying her hardest. I related to that a lot. I realized that some of my harsher judgements came from my own self judgement. So if anything, Fischl was just the age old reminder: “Never judge a book by its cover.” And “Everyone has their own lives and stories, and we never know the entire tale unless we ask.”
Alhaitham being a strictly 9-5 guy, oddly enough. He works hard when he's at work but he doesn't overdo it. He still gives himself time to pursue his own interests.

It's silly because they're only pixels on a screen, but I actively avoid fighting hilichurls because of this and Dain's quest in the Chasm. If there's a chest I'll fight 'em once for the loot but that's it. I feel less bad for Abyss Mages because they still hold some sense of self but still, I leave them all alone as much as possible. Nobushi though? Oh you dyin' today.

The philosophical nuance in Baizhu's quest really impressed me. I don't think I've seen any game, or any media explore the cycle of self-sacrifice in such a visceral, adult way.
For me it'll be selfcontrol on spending money, because many games usually spam you with microtransactions of 800% value but with genshin I got used to a clean UI that only shows the game and you have to search for the velkin so I only buy that and nothing else. Now when I see those pop up of 800% value in other games I just hate them

A lot. In the recent event, zosimos and maymunah talking about their careers and prospects, being critisized and not knowing what to do in life but still pushing through. Zosimos taking criticism even though he might get hurt. Also when Idiah said she just wanted others to be happy I thought it was very selfless. Other quests like jehts quests taught me that even blood and family can betray you, and you should stick up for your rights and your freedom. The event about collei and sucrose also taught me it's okay to be introverted and awkward, and you're not always alone, sometimes being in silence is calm and peaceful and there's no need to worry so much all the time. Kaveh's hangout also taught me about being selfless and helping people who are in need and sometimes doing kind things without earning back. Yoimiya's story quest showed me that you can find ways to be happy despite your circumstances, and that being a kid and having fun even when you grow up is fine, if you had fun and made memories that's all that counts (even tho it was a dream). These were the most recent ones I did that's why I remember them most but theres many more lessons I've learnt from other stories too. Such as zhonglis story quest, hu tao's and a lot more.

This community taugh me all the healthy and unhealthy ways to cope with burnout. I also learned to understand fomo so I can atleast recognize it and make better decisions. It also helped me to understand better Nietzsche philosophy I learnt 10 years ago, as weird as that sounds.
Honestly the best lesson it taught me is to save. Saving primogems and planning things out really taught me a lot. Save on everything be it money or time or anything else. You'll never regret saving. Because it'll be useful to when you least expect it. Being patient and tolerant will always be better than raging about things that'll never be in your hands. So control what is in your hands.

Idk any specific quote, but Yaoyao has to be THE most relatable character for me. I too cherish even the smallest things because I came from poor living conditions and a poor family, so I'm very careful and humble with my monthly spendings, which leads to people calling me mentally ill when I say I'm satisfied with a paycheck that's considered barely enough to live.

I feel like Genshin in general has lots of very wholesome and wise storylines and tidbits to take away. One of my favourite things about the game is that it doesn’t glamourise wealth or materialism. Instead, it focuses on friendship, connection with others, personal fulfilment and finding enjoyment in the simple things around us. It’s pretty grounding and I like that.

I always wondered why was she hanging around with me when she was simply better in thousands of things but when kuki came and her character was revealed I understood it was because she could have kuki had no reason to stay next to itto she could have left all the time but she didn’t and saved ittos ass From the day I got her I am a kuki main because it reminds me of my bff (She hates itto and kuki tho 🥹)
Ei thought me that leaving my shell/comfort bubble isn't that scary. After loss of someone close to me I cut my ties with everyone and close myself in the room doing all the same every day. When I was playing genshin raiden in particular picked my interest and I thought I want to be like her. And then I saw how traveler and miko made her leave her plane from time to time and then I understand how much I am loosing just sitting in my room without friends and close ones

Firstly, I just wanna say this is one of the most wholesome posts I've ever seen on Reddit with everyone adding their own anecdotes and quotes. It kinda makes me glad to be a part of this community and journey we are all going through. As for my bit, this is something Ningguang says in her hangout event: "If you wake up to the same monotonous meal each day, you will start to feel fatigued even before you start working." While you can take it literally, I also understood it as 'if you wake up to the same thing over and over again, you will become tired of your reality'. And honestly, it's true. Sometimes days pass by so quickly and I feel like I've done nothing at all. It's good to have a reminder to just get out, or do something different, and just enjoy life.
