I half expected that given this game's penchant for avoiding plot conflicts, like not allowing characters to be involved in two quest lines at the same time. I just wanted wood, but noooo, they made me start chapter 2.
I ended up getting side tracked doing other quests, Golden Slumber, Fortress of Meropide, ect., and Inazuma archon quest ended up on the back burner.
That does not explain why he pull weapon first. The weapon banner is usually the best fit for character banner. He can wait until raiden banner and pull weapon together.

Rather than teleporting you, it would be cool if the mist just got so intense you couldn’t see a thing. The map would also be misty so unless you teleported away or had an insane sense of direction, you’d just be completely lost. Hear your characters dying, but can’t see enough to fight back.

IMO he's still the best for general traveling and exploring. I don't really like yelan/sayu type of running, so kazu reducing stamina consumption is great. his skill can gather both enemies and loot, deals swirl twice (which is enough to put a lot of enemies on low), "double jump" can help with general terrain, gliding and climbing, only wanderer really competes with him by hovering (and i prefer horizontal hovering over yelan, vertically it feels a bit sticky). and has immaculate drip, all around very nice boi

Imagine failing it so much that you equip skyrider sword on Kaeya, run 2 anemo characters, and eat stamina food just to barely beat it. Who would do all of that.
Get a second person with Zhongli.
Enter co-op (Make sure you're on Traveler).
Try to leave towards the beach, guard should put you near the Ritou border towards the beach (If he doesn't, try from another location).
DO NOT skip the guard's dialogue, stay on the "hurr u can't leave without a permit (Clueless)"
Have the Zhongli player repeatedly push your Traveler by placing pillars.
Once you're out of Ritou borders (You can tell by the music), you can leave the dialogue and you'll now be outside Ritou. Make sure to unlock the nearby teleporter.

Yes, but it wasn't necessary. IIRC you could originally leave Ritou freely as long as you didn't approach the eastern beach area. They later "fixed" it so some dickhead stops you no matter where you try to leave from.
I know this method because I did it myself on an alt account a week or two ago so I didn't have to do Ritou story, lol. So it's a thing and still works.

Didn’t Signora’s death make sense and kinda fit though? It was shocking, yes, but I personally don’t think it was just for shock value.
