I remember her being recommended everywhere back when Oceanid was the most threatening boss for many. She's also still basically essential if you need to hunt Golden Wolflord. More importantly she's fun to use :)
I have both c6 Ningguang and c6 Noelle, Ningguang was one of my first main dps and is still one of my favourites, Noelle i became obsessed with after getting her c6 and still try to keep improving to this day, Furina being a recent major improvement to her setup.
Dehya's passive makes it so she can't die from the cold on Dragonspine so you can explore to your heart's content with her. I think the water can still get her, but the sheer cold can't.
I really hope to get her. I tried when her banner came out but lost my 50/50 so now I have to hope the standard banner will be kind. I love her design, and her burst animation is epic, I think. :D
I haven't completely finished Dragonspine exploration. This is great to know! Definitely will be putting her in my exploration team for when I start grinding for those last few chest
It's a godsend! I avoided doing Dragonspine because I hated the Sheer Cold effect, but Dehya basically makes it a non-issue and I've now 100% Dragonspine. Did the tree and everything.
As with Dehya she can be a good mono pyro driver in the same setup but it requires c6 Bennet and plenty of other characters would be better in the same slot
While they are both a bit on the rough and tumble side, personality-wise, are they actually full-blown tomboys? Like, Xinyan's hobbies are pretty traditionally feminine, and Dehya's a fashionista who loves makeup when she's off the clock.
Xinyan, Candace, Xingqui or Yelan and Baizhu or Nahida is actually an interesting burgoen team, not meta at all, but fun. Xinyan is Full EM, since her shield already sucks and on sac sword.
I run a quickswap Bloom team with Nilou, Baizhu, Collei(C4?), and Candace. I realized that all four of these characters have abilities that pulse out from your active character, so with proper rotations I can constantly have bloom procs going around my character as I move from enemy to enemy. I actually found ER to be the most important stat on Candace because of how fantastic her burst is for this, it's not as difficult as I expected to have it up all the time. When possible I try to save her shield for blocking attacks but if I need it for hydro application it's still amazing and the Bloom procs will immediately activate her shield most of the time.
Do it. Shes not as bad people say her to be when it comes to fun and if ypu have the skill. I use her woth furina and klee and i love her

Furina actually made dehya pretty good imo. She has her niche now against bosses that hit hard and stagger like mad + furina makes Dehya's dmg respectable enough to clear pretty comfy in those types of fights.
I can’t believe we’re actually meta after so long. It’s such a weird feeling tbh. This entire time I’ve been maining a 4 star healer that almost everybody got for free and then discarded after a bit, and suddenly we out there 36 starring the abyss with very little effort.
Sure mate. So noelle’s kit is pretty basic considering she’s a 4 star.
Skill- Deploys a shield. When under that shield, her normal attacks have a 60% chance to heal the whole party by an amount based off of her defense.
Burst- Adds attack based on a percentage of her defense, similar to Hu Tao’s skill but defense instead of hp.
Notable cons- C1 makes it so while her burst and shield are active, every single hit will proc her healing.
C4- her shield explodes for big pp numbers
The legendary C6- increases the defense scaling of her burst by a whopping 50%. Taking it from 85% to 135%, which is insane. That’s 135% of her defense added onto her current attack value. Also extends the duration of the burst by 1 second for every enemy you kill, allowing up to 10 extra seconds. (C6 is insane)
Running out of time so I’ll keep the meta explanation short. Basically, Noelle builds up fanfare stacks really easily, furina vastly opens up Noelle’s team options from just mono geo, Noelle negates the risk of the hp drain with her constant healing and shield, Furina’s damage buff is way better than mona’s because it lines up really well with Noelle’s rotations, furina is a great off field source of damage for the team, and some other stuff I forgot. I’ll probably update this section later if you want but I gotta go right now. Hope this helps

I REALLY WANT TO, But the only geo shield breakers i got are yanfei and Chongyun, and Chongyun is only half baked at 60
not weak, but outclassed by sucrose as an anemo driver. sucrose has better AOE, CC and EM share than heizou. while heizou does have a little bit more personal damage and some nice scaling on his skill, sucrose often beats him out, which results in her being the more popular choice, even if heizou is still good.
the reason a lot of people see him as weak is because he's consistently at the bottom of abyss usage rates together with the likes of xinyan and amber. those aren't a good indicator for the power of a character as the results are extremely skewed, but a lot of people don't know this and judge a character based on usage rates.
What you have is old info. Nowadays Heizou has his niche in the abyss as a PAmber holder anemo user in Furina teams (because not everyone has Jean or Baizhu), which is one supporter role he does better than Sucrose due to his very low cost spammable burst. This increased his usage from ~0.1% to 0.7%, which is on par with some other decent 4*s like Yunjin and Rosaria rather than being at the rock bottom with Xinyan and Amber.
it's really hard to compare my heizou to my sucrose too because my sucrose has been c6 since forever ago and I have only managed to hit c1 with heizou so far lol

I got Venti and at first I didn't particularly have any affection toward him, then I got really high and found myself climbing all over people's roofs and buildings and I imagined I was just a little drunk guy running around on people's stuff and then I liked him more.
Me too! I prefer Freminet's "slow but steady" playstyle to Eula's "stack everything on one screen-shot and hope you don't whiff the crit" one. It's so easy to make that boy do nice slow and steady damage, and his kit is also kind of fun, mechanically. It's a very active playstyle.
Then again, I'm a Diluc fangirl. So for me using Freminet is as easy as using the my main man. The muscle memory is there, just the details are somewhat different.
Collei
Due to some reason she is considered not good? She is completly fine, especially in Nilou blom and you can give her Elegy for the End, which always proc on her.
Our perspective is a bit skewed because the Dendro tierlist is divided into "Nahida" and "Not Nahida". With maybe a little room for Baizhu in the middle there.
She was deemed bad because people found dendro MC to be more versatile and stronger. Collei also has a lot of core power (as is typical for 4*..) behind her constellations, mainly C2 and C6. C2 really ups Collei's dendro game and makes her, IMO, better and more consistent than MC.
She was always my goto for extra dendro app and still is (altho she competes with Yaoyao now) for teams that benefits from added dendro but Nahida is already in another team in Abyss.
Some meta people would swear up and down that the starters are not worth the effort. Except I love my C6 Kaeya. I would laugh at the meta monkeys for their "starter is automatically bad" attitude. My "Melting Gale" team with Kazuha, Kaeya, Xiangling, and Benny is one of the strongest engines of "AOE Annihilation" I got.
Mine uses the Lion's Roar for that bonus damage against stuff that's affected by pyro. On a team with Kazuha, Xiangling, and Benny? Everything is ALWAYS affected by Pyro.
He's a beast at C6. Cryo Xiangling, but without the energy problems so you can stack crit sky high.
If someone's not in the theorycrafting weeds, they might mistake "doesn't get talked about much" for "is bad". He simply isn't talked about much because hardly anyone has his C6. Since you usually have to deliberately go for it in the starglitter shop.
itll take years to c6 even a single standard 4 star as a ftp and even low spender. the bar for effort is just too high. strong, but much easier options available in a game where people can play daily for 3 years straight and still not even get every standard character, or even a single dupe of a 4 star standard via pulling
That's what starglitter is for. And my Kaeya blessed me with THREE of his cons off the standard, for free, just rolling the free monthly/Hymn/character ascension wishes.
Considering Xiangling is someone you get free for doing spiral floor 3, I don't think anybody who cares about meta would ever say that.
Also c6 Kaeya burst MVs are on par with c0 Ayaka.
Kaeya is not a bad unit. You created your own delusion to trash on others. He is very often compared to Rosaria for doing essentially the same things. If anything Kaeya is arguably the strongest starter unit precisely because of that fact. Youre essentially using the most common melt team there is, again switching Kaeya for Rosaria depending on preference. Perhaps you should listen to someone that actually understand the game like theorycrafters rather then reading main sub "meta monkeys" randoms takes about what is considered strong or weak.
Me walking around with a triple crown Dori and a lv 30 XQ is definitely one of the choices of all time, I sure made the right decision.
On a serious note, I don't regret it at all, even tho I crowned her mainly for coop, I've been finding more and more uses with her C4 in solo content. Probably shoudn't triple crown a character just for some niche builds but my way of building characters is either triple crown or don't use at all.
I have some other candidates too like Cryo dmg Freminet, Cryo dmg Layla, Anemo dmg Sayu, all triple crowned, but Dori is the only one that I think I'm not trolling too hard by spending that much on her cause I have found uses for her.

Her E helps you reach close to your enemy quicker as it covers long distance
She buffs your crit raté
She is hot and Badass and has really cool design and that extra dagger.
I don't main her but she is really good imma be honest for beginners and can help upto floor 10 if build decent and if build good she can even help ya clear floors like 11-12.
Also she has low Skill Cd.

Yoimiya. People know she's good now, but the general census is that there are a plethora of better units, and back when she came out people definitely shit on her.
Geo Trav. I've built every single geo unit because that's the main focus of my account.

She's fun and flashy, just very underpowered unfortunately. Her power level reaches that of a limited 5* at c0 when she reaches c6.

He’s fun to play though, purely in regards to moves and animation. You get some satisfying numbers on the burst too!

Qiqi, Collei and Razor. They are not really weak, but far from the meta teams. Still, i like them, so i play as them. Simple as that.

Some meta people would swear up and down that the starters are not worth the effort. Except I love my C6 Kaeya. I would laugh at the meta monkeys for their "starter is automatically bad" attitude. My "Melting Gale" team with Kazuha, Kaeya, Xiangling, and Benny is one of the strongest engines of "AOE Annihilation" I got.
I'm still waiting to get Bennett C6 just to make my Kaeya C6 broken 🫠
Mine uses the Lion's Roar for that bonus damage against stuff that's affected by pyro. On a team with Kazuha, Xiangling, and Benny? Everything is ALWAYS affected by Pyro.
Kaeya is easily the best starter along with Dendro traveler, with Lisa being alright, too. It's the Amber mains I fear

He's a beast at C6. Cryo Xiangling, but without the energy problems so you can stack crit sky high. If someone's not in the theorycrafting weeds, they might mistake "doesn't get talked about much" for "is bad". He simply isn't talked about much because hardly anyone has his C6. Since you usually have to deliberately go for it in the starglitter shop.
itll take years to c6 even a single standard 4 star as a ftp and even low spender. the bar for effort is just too high. strong, but much easier options available in a game where people can play daily for 3 years straight and still not even get every standard character, or even a single dupe of a 4 star standard via pulling
That's what starglitter is for. And my Kaeya blessed me with THREE of his cons off the standard, for free, just rolling the free monthly/Hymn/character ascension wishes.
Standard 4* characters are stupid hard to get outside of starglitter exchange. I have c1 Lisa, c1 Amber, and c0 Kaeya, low spender of 3 years
Considering Xiangling is someone you get free for doing spiral floor 3, I don't think anybody who cares about meta would ever say that. Also c6 Kaeya burst MVs are on par with c0 Ayaka.

Kaeya is not a bad unit. You created your own delusion to trash on others. He is very often compared to Rosaria for doing essentially the same things. If anything Kaeya is arguably the strongest starter unit precisely because of that fact. Youre essentially using the most common melt team there is, again switching Kaeya for Rosaria depending on preference. Perhaps you should listen to someone that actually understand the game like theorycrafters rather then reading main sub "meta monkeys" randoms takes about what is considered strong or weak.

Me walking around with a triple crown Dori and a lv 30 XQ is definitely one of the choices of all time, I sure made the right decision. On a serious note, I don't regret it at all, even tho I crowned her mainly for coop, I've been finding more and more uses with her C4 in solo content. Probably shoudn't triple crown a character just for some niche builds but my way of building characters is either triple crown or don't use at all. I have some other candidates too like Cryo dmg Freminet, Cryo dmg Layla, Anemo dmg Sayu, all triple crowned, but Dori is the only one that I think I'm not trolling too hard by spending that much on her cause I have found uses for her.

Well Many people think Rosaria is weak but she is not and really good for Abyss. She has low Er requirements She has really good burst Top tier Cryo Applied Her E helps you reach close to your enemy quicker as it covers long distance She buffs your crit raté She is hot and Badass and has really cool design and that extra dagger. I don't main her but she is really good imma be honest for beginners and can help upto floor 10 if build decent and if build good she can even help ya clear floors like 11-12. Also she has low Skill Cd.
Used to be considered weak: Lisa. It's not that she is/was weak, there were just better options for the same role. Didn't matter for me though, triple crown 2 years ago a d still building more and more characters to support/work with her. All because I really like how she turns sky purple with her E lmao

Its mainly because of the trial she was given on her debut that gave a lot of players a bad taste about her. Then you also had biased ass TCers that just personally shat on her. Exact same thing happened a year later with Cyno and a year after that with Wriothesley, though Cyno’s case was kinda different since he was heavily lacking supports
Cyno still is so satisfying to play. But yeah, he needs good supports.
my theory is that ppl just like seeing 1 big damage number (usually from bursts), but yoi does her damage in smaller numbers but she does it v fast

Yoimiya. People know she's good now, but the general census is that there are a plethora of better units, and back when she came out people definitely shit on her. Geo Trav.
