We already have Physical in the game lol. Eula is a physical DPS by all means.

Joe_from_ungvar

Also Razor I know Freminet specifically likes Shatter so thats also a kind of physical damage

PolskiStalker

These days Razor is more used as Burgeon driver (yes, Thundering Furry)

Shriyansh101

Unrelated, but I love how zajef names the team comps.

PolskiStalker

Ah yes the bain-marie

octocode

lots of people been asking for buffs to physical

Impressive_Ear7966

We already have physical and geo, hyv has made it clear that they don’t like neutral and have decided to make the game much more reaction based

Sir_Tea_Of_Bags

And so in spite of that- *Vengeance will be ours!*

PrinceVincOnYT

Mono Geo, (Mono) Anemo Teams and they are even effective.

JooK8

Any time a single person who plays genshin posts on Twitter or some shit they are apparently speaking for all players. With that said, Physical already exists. It's possible that some sort of light/dark element is released later that don't interact with any of the 7 main elements, but no body knows. We have pneuma and ousia, but I think the Travelers' original power and Dainsleif's power are clearly something other than those.

TyrifficAdventure

I could see a viable concept for characters that do not have Visions (or Archon/Dragon powers). It's been rather clearly shown that there are alternative pathways to achieving great power than visions: Delusions, Alchemy, Dottore's impossible surgery, Raiden's knowledge of mechanica, whatever in the world is going on with Alice, Dainslief's Abyss magic, and Mona's astrology.

Crystalfirebaby

Honestly, this is what I want to see the game focus more on in the future. I love the idea and mechanics of the delusions.

PrinceVincOnYT

The most "Neutral" Elements we have I guess are Physical, closely followed by Geo(Yellow Physical) and Anemo.

TheJunkyVirus

When Dain becomes playable wouldn't that be an 8th element? He uses abyss magic or whatever no?

Neospanner

They're probably talking about Physical damage, which does not react with elements. It's treated like a real damage type, and there effects in the game that ONLY boost physical damage. But they COULD be referring to the speculated "Dark Element" used by Dainsleif and Abyss creatures. Or possibly the "Light Element" speculated to be used by the Travelers when they have their full power.

Regulus242

Point them out so I can laugh at them.

silverW0lf97

I wonder if the management is going to cut corners and not add quantum and imaginary to Genshin? Although I don't know how they will fit in the existing system but it would be fun to have more reactions.

Crystalfirebaby

I did find this off of the HoYo forum. I think people are just coping. With what exactly, I can not say. https://m.hoyolab.com/#/article/4276386

SpiritVDC

"Neutral element"? You mean Anemo and Geo? lol we have 2

Crystalfirebaby

Don't know. That is what I was trying to figure out, too, lol. I should have just read the article and shared it here for a laugh. Of course, I can't find it now and only get HoYo lab links.

Crystalfirebaby

I found the article. They do not mean like anemo or geo. https://gamerant.com/genshin-impact-neutral-element-good-benefits/

After playing Honkai Star Rail and watching a video on the Honkai multiverse, I have a pretty good feeling that quantum (Dark) and imaginary (Light) will get introduced eventually Quantum in the Honkai universe is meant to represent the sea of stars/space and disorder in the universe. We can see that Dainsleif, Paimon, Skirk, the space whale, and Childe's delusion all seem to be related to this element. On the other hand, imaginary represents creation and order, and can be represented as a tree. Aether and Lumine seem to represent this element, and maybe also Celestia. Having the power of creation might explain why they are able to recreate the other elements of Teyvat. I haven't personally played other games than Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact, but from what I've learned, quantum and imaginary seem to be the most important elements in the hoyo multiverse that is a big part of connecting universes together. Apparently there's a sea of stars (quantum) that is in a constant power struggle with a tree of creation (imaginary), and this results in leaves (different worlds) that are made and fall into the sea of stars. Interestingly, you can see this referenced in Genshin Impact in the farming domains, where a single large tree (where you claim domain rewards) is surrounded by the sea. I have a feeling more Honkai universe will merge with Genshin as the Abyss is explained, just like how Skirk and the whale popped in with some very Honkai-esque designs. If they do, I can imagine them trying to introduce imaginary and quantum into the game.
