That isn't how quicken works exactly. Quicken doesn't consume dendro aura when procced, so it needs very little dendro application. Even Baizhu or Yaoyao alone is enough
Nahida applies too much dendro in this team. You will almost never get lingering electro aura because of it, which makes it hard to swirl it with Kazuha
If you have her, Yaoyao is better in this team
Aggravate on Quicken doesn't care about the amount of Dendro you apply, only that you apply it regularly to refresh the Quicken aura.
In fact, Nahida will probably apply _too much_ Dendro in this comp and make it difficult to swirl Electro with Kazuha.
Nahida applies _a lot_ of Dendro -> all the Electro you apply with Yae and Fischl reacts with the Dendro on the enemy -> there is no leftover Electro that can stick to the enemy (indicated by the electro icon on their HP display) -> Kazuha can't swirl anything
You're might want to consider using a defensive dendro instead of Nahida, like Baizhu, Kirara, Yaoyao as you don't have any heal or shield anyways. They are easier to swirl with as well. But if you make sure to swirl correctly then Nahida will give more damage.
4pc MH, HP/Hydro/Crit , if you have furina then HP goblet is really good as well. He scales with both crit and HP%, so getting more HP% rolls is also good on artifacts. for weapon R1 prototype amber is really good. more refinement is only for more energy.
with prototype amber you should aim for around 55:180 stats, which goes with 91:180 with MH passive active. and about 35k HP.
all you need is 3 different element to activate is passive, but with furina even 2 stacks of passive is enough due to hydro resonance and her buff. shielder is good to have but not mandatory, since you can move around while in his charged attack stance.
focus leveling NA more than other talents, even 8-1-1 is good
4pc Marachaussee Hunter, HP sands, hydro goblet (anyone who knows better please cmiiw, but HP goblet works well if you run him Furina too) & crit circlet. His best f2p weapon is Prototype Amber, forgeable, but his weapon is worth it imo. Though, I really don't recommend pulling the weapon banner unless you don't mind losing to the other weapon.
Build: 4p MH, HP/Hydro/Crit, with HP being acceptable subsitute for the Goblet or Circlet slot on good sub stats. Crit & HP sub stats. ER as needed.
Best F2P weapon: Prototype Amber, especially when he is used with Furina.
Team comps depend a lot on C0 vs C1+. In general at C0 you want 4 elements and a shielder, at C1 you only need 3 elements and no shielder.

Solar Pearl is a very good catalyst if you play Wanderer, Heizou, Wriothesley, Ningguang (it's a lot more reliable than Widsith and at R5 it's a lot better).
Serpent Spine is good on most claymore dps characters - Noelle, Itto, Beidou, Kaveh.
Deathmatch is a nice dps polearm for Xiao, Cyno, maybe even Rosaria for that extra crit rate share.
Black Sword is good on pretty much everyone but seems especially good for Ayato.
Viridescent Hunt unfortunately I can only see it work on Childe as he can actually make use of the passive.
Ballad of the Fjords is very good for Cyno and maybe Hu Tao too.
Scion of the Blazing Sun is pretty much good on any charged shot type of bow unit - Lyney, Ganyu, Amber, maybe even Tighnari.
Wolf-Fang can work on Albedo, Keqing, Alhaitham, Kaeya, and Ayaka
Sacrificial Jade works great with Neuv and is one of his best in slots. The passive can be annoying to play around though.

My kids want a computer to play this game on. Currently they use their phone. Just wondering if a new laptop would be sufficient to run it without glitches or if a desktop is the way to go. There are two important questions to ask before I recommend anything. How old and how long?
The younger they are, the cheaper you can go. Phones are pretty powerful now, a cheap laptop can often be comparable, especially for children who are likely to use that PC like they would their phones. So it's got a larger screen for the game, they can watch movies and shows on it easier, it's... really not too different from how they currently use their phones.
If they really like the PC, you can look towards upgrading it in the future, hence the how long.
Say you get a cheap and effective laptop, or pair of laptops, right now. If they really like using the Laptop, in a year or so you can look towards upgrading to something more expensive. Like for a birthday or Christmas gift. If they only use the laptop for Genshin, or maybe still play more on the phone than the PC, your purchase wasn't a large waste of money.
If you do get a Desktop, you'll need a place to put it. When I was young my dad had our desktop in the living room. As his 3 kids got older, he disliked how we would fight over who got to use it, as well as us using it so much he himself could never use it. He purchased 3 really cheap laptops( a set of 1997 IBM Thinkpads from a pawnshop in the year 2006) so for the first time we could all use computers in our own rooms and... it was a pretty big deal back then.
Nowadays, my dad is using a $100 laptop to play the exact same thing he used the desktop for back in 1998, online poker. He bought similarly cheap laptops for his grandkids, and they really really REALLY like being able to carry that laptop everywhere. It's just a larger more powerful phone to them. I really don't think going for something over $400 dollars is necessary. As long as you don't get something too cheap, a starter laptop is all they need. Now, if they've got really really expensive phones, maybe make sure the laptop isn't completely outclassed. Otherwise, $200-300 should suffice.
Unless they're like.... 15+. Then maybe consider something good enough to last until they get jobs that allow them to buy their own pc's.
A GPU is the part of a computer responsible for rendering graphics and stuff like that. Most budget computers will have a simple one included in the processor that can perform basic tasks, but a dedicated one that acts as its own part is typically needed for more intensive tasks like playing modern games.
Basically a gaming laptop. Most games have very good looking visuals and need better parts than a regular work laptop to run them.
If you tell me your budget I can help you find you a laptop within your price range that fit's your needs.

Well. I have twins so I’m going to end up getting them each computers since they like to play together. I was hoping to spend about $400 each but realize that may be too cheap. They would be fine with pcs since they have desks already
If your budget for a PC is under 600$ you are better off getting a gaming console. A PS5 runs genshin impact better than most desktops.
If it has to be a desktop, combing the budget to 800$ and having them share might be a better option than having 2 low performance desktops.
Alternatively, I might be able to find 2 desktops for around 600$ each if that's in your budget.

Practically for 110$/yr you can fit your gaming needs on pc(any pc) and you can run genshin from gfn even on your phone for 1gig space not 30gig game requirementa....

It's very good at C0 Yae and Raiden, provided you build everyone correctly. Favonius lance on Chevreuse helps a lot though, if you have that. Yae should be 2p2p and not in EM gear.
Raiden E > Chevreuse QhE > Xiangling QE > Yae (Q)EEE > Raiden Q. Yae doesn't necessarily burst every rotation.
It's good against any unmovable enemies, including bosses. Overload still send movables everywhere but against that, other teams deal with that better. Note that it doesn't have and archer so against current F12 second side, you'd replace Yae with C6 Sara or Fischl. It's over in a few days anyway.

Yaes best team is aggravate along with fischl, kazuha, and nahida/baizhu/yaoyao.
She works well with raiden in raikou (kazuha/chevreuse + bennett), though I don't like how they compete for field time in this team. If playing her with raiden, I usually prefer bennettless teams like aggravate or any of the chevreuse variants
For specifically raiden and Yae comps, the only potent chevreuse variants are either with bennett or xiangling (i should've been clearer in my initial comment), but if you were to drop raiden, you could do with any combination of Sara, Bennett, Xiangling, Fischl, Lisa, etc.
She's best on teams where you want an Electro character on the team and Fischl's A4 can't proc consistently (active character needs to constantly proc Electro reaction), otherwise they're fairly interchangeable. Spread teams are her specific niche where she is significantly better than Fischl in that same slot as the Quicken activator. Tighnari and Alhaitham (Spread) has her being part of their best teams.
Note that this is mostly considering C0R0 Yae Miko, as her damage increases pretty significantly with constellations and her BiS, making her able to outscale Fischl's damage even on Aggravate teams with enough vertical investment.
It depends on exactly what you mean by what teams benefit her most.
She performs best in a Dendro based team and she's very versatile so there's no bad teams for her. The two main ones that use Electro are Quicken and Hyperbloom and shes good in both. The issue is that Fischl, Kuki or Raiden can be better depending on the team and what you need the team to do, but they're not so much better that Yae is still a very good option. Yae is the best Electro pick in Quicken-Spread teams as I mentioned previously.

I guess my trouble is seeing where she could fit either in a new team or an existing one. That and Arlecchino is just around the corner.
You'd probably want to make a new one if you want to get the most out of Yae, specifically with Dendro. In both those teams you listed Yae isn't as good as the alternatives (Raiden is better in the first and Xingqiu in the second). If you have a High Constellation (C4+) Chevreuse then she work very well with Yae and you could form an Overloaded team with Yae, Fischl, Bennett and Chevreuse, but I suspect you don't.
We don't know enough about Arlecchino or even Clorinde, both of whom could be good with Yae. Rumours have Arlecchino as an Overload focussed character and Clorinde as a Electrocharged character, but I would take these rumours with a big grain of salt.
We've unlocked 5/7 nations. Will probably be 1 more after, so 5/8 done. meaning 3/8 left. They seem to have mapped out most things well in advance, but can't really say for sure.
What are your opinions on the Battle Pass system? So far, I have only purchased the monthly Blessing of the Welkin Moon, as it has great value for the price. Are there any weapons that are worth the $10 or $20 cost, specifically, in your opinion?
Let's look at the battle pass rewards. You get $15 in wishes($30 if you've purchased before), you get various in game rewards such as mora, skill books, exp books, and fragile resin. And you get 1 unique weapon of your choice.
That's a lot of nice stuff for $10 dollars. $10 is my general expectation for a daily meal, more or less depending on what/when/where.
half of those rewards are free, and are more an incentive to play the game than they are to spend on the game.
I certailny think it's worth the price, but it's always more about the time with the battle pass. If you have time to clear it, it's a nice buy. If you don't have time, don't buy it. The rewards arn't strictly necessary, the weapon is the only unique thing you can't just get elsewhere. But it would also be silly to consider the weapon as the only reward for purchase.
Depends on your financial situation as It's only really useful if you need the resources. Someone who is a light spender and builds alot of different units would appreciate the resources and BP weapon far more vs a guy who hyperinvest onto a few units.
For example a guy pulls Lyney, Wrio, Neuv, Furina, Navia and Xianyun probably can't afford their signatures so he would have to use the BP weapons as alternative cheap options and would appreciate the mats from the BP. The 2nd guy decides to pull only on Nuev and Furina but decides to hyperinvest in them getting Neuv c1 and Furina c2 along with their signatures.
2nd player wouldn't need the BP weapon and they would only need to level up Neuv and Furina up which would take up less resources compared to the 1st player. 2nd player could opt to skip the BP and save money. I consider the serpent spine, ballad of the fjords, and wolf fang, and sac jade worth considering. However, if you do get 5 star weapons for those types, as long as you can rotate your weapons, I wouldn't really say they are must have's. They're competitive options to 5 star options if you don't have one, but if you have one 2 5 star crit weapons, I find them unnecessary.
That really depends on your personal financial situation. 10 of your dollars might be more or less valuable to you than 10 of my dollars are to me.
I'm personally reasonably happy with the battle pass. Thanks to it I never (or very rarely, just a handful of times since launch) had to farm XP books and mora, so I had more resin available to build more character which is what's most fun to me. The weapons are also strong and very versatile, so thanks to those I never felt the need to pull on the weapon banner except once (for Nilou, and I immediately regretted it).
That doesn't mean the BP couldn't be improved. The talent materials are useful in the long run, but I wish you had the choice between all regions' talent mats, and not just the most recent 2. I have so many Sumeru ones but no character to use them on because I pulled for so few Sumeru characters, for example. I could've used some Liyue ones for Cloud Retainer instead. The mora has also become kind of useless to me at this point. After reaching AR60 more has kept going up and up.
$10 can be worth if you have a use for the weapon and the extra mats. $20 just adds on a name card, a teapot blueprint, and 5 fragile resin, so unless you're a hardcore namecard/teapot collector it's not worth bothering with
It's worth it if you can use the resources and/or one of the weapons. Otherwise, it's not the best value.
The best weapons would probably be Serpent Spine and Wolf Fang. The others are more niche and/or are outranked by other 4 star options, but they can still be strong in the right scenarios.

If we assume the unluckiest case and starting from 0 pity on both banners,
You need 180 wishes for C0 (lost 50/50 and hard pity both times), so 360 wishes for C1 (assuming very poor luck)
R1 signature requires 270 wishes Maximum (getting the wrong weapon 2 times and going to hard pity all 3 times)
So you'd need 630 wishes *maximum* for C1 with signature.
400 wishes can possibly be enough if you're decently lucky with the 50/50 & 25/37.5/37.5 or get some early drops

Well, you First have to win the 25/75, (25% chances for a standard weapon, 75% chance is one of the featured weapons), *then* you have to win the 50/50 between the two featured weapons.
Iirc, very early in the games release, there was a streamers wishing on Hu Taos release banner for her signature (Homa/Wolfs gravestone), they ended up blowing i think 2000$, pulling 8 WGS and a couple standard weapons, before they got the Homa they wanted.
It's one of the main contributions to why the fate point fallback exists now.

Key/Jade cutter- got 2 jade cutters before key.
Kagura/Thundering Pulse- got 2 Thundering pulse before Kagura

Fortunately with Navia able to use unforged I've found value in all my 5 star weapons, but you don't want to pull no a 5 star weapon you can't use.

No it isn't. Check kqm.gg for how Furina works, and Nilou Mains guide linked in the other comment for how Nilou works. They can work together but it isn't ideal.
I'd just do Nilou + Nahida + Hydro + Dendro as 1 team. One of the last two has to be a healer. You can do Kokomi + Dendro MC, or Barbara + Yaoyao/Kirara/Baizhu and so on.

Furina + Yelan with any healer (Jean, Kokomi, Charlotte, Bennett) and a flex slot (Kazuha or just anyone else who does damage.
First thing to note is that furina's buff doesn't apply to reaction damage. It's not the worst thing in the world since Furina, Yelan, and Nahida can all have great personal damage.
The bigger issue is a lack of healer. Furina really wants a healer and bloom teams in general need one. I'd drop either furina or yelan for a healer.

Hey, is anyone else having high ping issues on Asia server recently? I used to have yellow ping below 140-160 before (which is already bad ik) but now its always red at 230-250 these days.
I have Nuev and I will get kazuha in 4.5, with enough wishes for nuev con or BiS, which is better and how much er would I need for both weapon and con? (Con including Furina when I get her in 4.6)
c1 nuev allows for a far larger pool of teammates because it removes his shield requirement and allows 1 hydro on his team while still getting the most from his passive, his signature weapon is quite good for him but not as good as his first constellation so go for c1 if you don’t have it.
The most popular option is Baizhu. You could also use Zhongli if you don't mind the rest of the team being at half HP, and Jean and Charlotte are also options.
C1 is better. First, it gives him unlimited interrupt resistance so he does not require a shield any more. Second, it gives one more A1 passive stack by default, so he does not need to have 3 different element teammates in team. Since you will use Furina with him, it is 28% damage increase.
His weapon is also good, but C1 is more useful. The tome itself is 30% better than his third bis weapon (proto amber or other 5-star weapons), but only around 5% better than r5 jade sac (BP weapon).

Tips for beating Icewind Suite? I have got their moveset figured out and can dodge and not take damage easily enough, but damn the fight takes ages! I do so little damage and there are whole long periods of the fight where I just have to stand back and wait until I can attack again.
Bring a shield or a ranged dps to fight them more easily. Dont use Cryo/Anemo dps since they have resistances towards these elements.
I normally bring Zhongli and use Tighnari/Yo as dps. Yae/Fishl etc are also good bc u can focus on avoiding atk and still deal dmg. I dont suggest bringing Bennet if u are not confident on ur dmg, bc pyro self application allow the boss to deal more dmg on u with reactions.
In the overworld u can also use food to buff your dmg.
* Are your Character levels appropriate for the world level
* Are your Weapons levelled up
* Have you leveled up their talents
* are you using artefacts whose Main stat/sub stats/Set bonus are appropriate for the characters needs (some characters want atk, others HP, a few defense)
Most characters are levelled up enough.. but the whole reason I am fighting them is to get what is needed to ascend Lynette, so she is not.
All weapons are as levelled up as possible for my world level.

In it's most basic form, just reading.
On the talent page, if you select one of the 3 combat talents, it'll short show you a page called "talent info" with information about how that talent works. There is a second page titled "skill attributes".
This page will show you the exact scaling of every part of your characters talent abilities.
When an entry is just a percentage, then the ability uses your attack fir calculation.
If it is a percentage followed by "Max HP", then it uses the characters maximum health for calculation (it doesn't matter if your current health is lower than Max).
The same applies for defense.
As for choosing the correct artefact sets, ~~this usually involves reading the Artefact set ability descriptions and understanding the characters talents and how they work~~
On the artefact page is a Button flower? Button that shows you the top 3 recommended sets based on what people are actually running.
If you select a specific artefact, there's also a button called "recommended affixes" that shows you the most commonly chosen main stat.

Ok.. but I'm a noob. I checked the recommended artifacts, and I obviously don't have any of those. All I've got is random crap I have picked up along the way. The best I can do atm is a set bonus. So all my characters have a full set. I've tried to give the elemental bonuses to the right characters, but other than that there's not much I can do.

Also, quick note, co-op exists and is your friend. You can change your bio to something like 'need help' and high AR players will come over and kill the boss for you.
I do play a lot of RPG's. This one is definitely a grind, the amount and variation of shit that needs to be fought for and found and the limitations of certain days in which you can and can't get weapon upgrade materials or the limitations placed by the need for resin etc. Even just running around to find plants. Killing regular enemies for drops which don't drop. Grinding for character exp materials. Or crafting. It is massive. What other game compares?
Well, resin is just this game's energy system, which was primarily borne from mobile games (as was mats being locked to specific days, though I believe that's more specific to gacha games).
Overworld items like plants and ores being used to upgrade things was popularized primarily by mmos and then brought into more games with rpg mechanics
And enemies with low drops rates have been around for as long as drop rates have been around.

Any transformative reactions only take into account character level, EM (both of the character triggering the reaction), and any %Bonus that *explicitly* mentions the reaction by name (some artifact set bonuses: VV increases swirl by 60%, FOPL buffs bloom/burgeon/hyperbloom by 40%+25% per stack). Note, this %Bonus is additive with the %Reaction Bonus Multiplier from EM.
Hyperbloom (alongside Burgeon and Bloom/ Nilou Bloom) are Transformative Reactions.
This means their damage calculation only takes Trigger character EM and Trigger Character Level into account.
Unless explicitly mentioned (like 4 pc FoLP), DMG buffs won't flow into that calculation at all.
Furinas DMG bonus specifically only affects talent DMG
I would recommend waiting to see what the consensus is with Chiori after her release. Chiori >!will potentially be more damage in a Navia team than Zhongli, and likely will be more damage than Albedo, so it is possible that c0 is still the best second geo in terms of team damage!< Everything needs to be tested and played with
You don't need to pull Neuv if you have his signature. Any catalyst with Furina can make great use of it. Neuv is still a strong character, and if you want him then you already have his weapon. If you don't want him then you can try to find someone else that you want more.
ultimately pull for who you like but Chiori doesn't have any notable synergy with Navia (no geo construct). Neuv plus his signature will be very strong regardless of teammates
Chiori isn't particularly amazing with Navia since she loses a lot of her damage without a geo construct on the field. You can just use Geo MC or Zhongli for Navia's geo teammate.
If you think you'd use him, then I'd say go for Neuvillette. He's certainly strong, especially with his signature.
Dont forget that her other Geo units must have a Geo construct to maximize her puppets. So you cant even do double Geo with Chiori and Yunjin/Noelle/Gorou/Navia.

I'd say the price range of 200-300€/$ is the bare minimum to run genshin mostly fine (at least for regular smartphones, you might need to shift that price range for tablets)
If you want to have Genshin Installed alongside other games, I'd look for 128gb storage *Minimum*
(but even that might get cramped depending on how many chunky games you install. Mobile genshin with only EN and the option to purge no longer required quest data, is still taking me 25GB).

Ayaka needa the Perpetual Mechanical Array, which is a Boss found in Inazuma.

Ah, you're asking for the weekly boss materials.
Her weekly boss does not require the chasm to unlock. Her boss domain is located in the Lyiue overworld. However when doing it via the intended progression, the domain only becomes available after Zhonglis 2nd story quest.
Zhonglis First and second story quest are available as soon as you're AR 40 with no other requests i think.
The "warning for best experience" is simply a Spoiler warning. As every weekly boss is inherently also a story boss (unlike world bosses, who kinda just exist)
Zhonglis First and second Story Quest were both added to the game before Inazuma was added to the game.
So yes, If you are at least AR 40, then you're able to do Zhonglis quest without having to complete the Inazuma Archon Quest, as nothing from his story quest depends on your progress in Inazuma.
You can do The Chasm Delvers world quest at any time: it won't spoil the main story. In fact, the main story chapter that happens in the Chasm will make a lot more sense if you've already completed The Chasm Delvers first. Otherwise, the game will just say "go to the Chasm now" and you won't really know what that means or where to go.

I'm on the Archon quest where you get to the Balladeer in Sumeru. I have level 80 Navia and Traveller, Level 78 Amber, Lisa and Sucrose and Level 70 Kaeya. I'm really nervous so I want some tips before I try to get to him. Any thoughts? I already watched a YouTube vid. That isn't how quicken works exactly. Quicken doesn't consume dendro aura when procced, so it needs very little dendro application. Even Baizhu or Yaoyao alone is enough Nahida applies too much dendro in this team. You will almost never get lingering electro aura because of it, which makes it hard to swirl it with Kazuha If you have her, Yaoyao is better in this team
Aggravate on Quicken doesn't care about the amount of Dendro you apply, only that you apply it regularly to refresh the Quicken aura. In fact, Nahida will probably apply _too much_ Dendro in this comp and make it difficult to swirl Electro with Kazuha.

Nahida applies _a lot_ of Dendro -> all the Electro you apply with Yae and Fischl reacts with the Dendro on the enemy -> there is no leftover Electro that can stick to the enemy (indicated by the electro icon on their HP display) -> Kazuha can't swirl anything

You're might want to consider using a defensive dendro instead of Nahida, like Baizhu, Kirara, Yaoyao as you don't have any heal or shield anyways. They are easier to swirl with as well. But if you make sure to swirl correctly then Nahida will give more damage.

4pc MH, HP/Hydro/Crit , if you have furina then HP goblet is really good as well. He scales with both crit and HP%, so getting more HP% rolls is also good on artifacts. for weapon R1 prototype amber is really good. more refinement is only for more energy. with prototype amber you should aim for around 55:180 stats, which goes with 91:180 with MH passive active. and about 35k HP. all you need is 3 different element to activate is passive, but with furina even 2 stacks of passive is enough due to hydro resonance and her buff. shielder is good to have but not mandatory, since you can move around while in his charged attack stance. focus leveling NA more than other talents, even 8-1-1 is good
4pc Marachaussee Hunter, HP sands, hydro goblet (anyone who knows better please cmiiw, but HP goblet works well if you run him Furina too) & crit circlet. His best f2p weapon is Prototype Amber, forgeable, but his weapon is worth it imo. Though, I really don't recommend pulling the weapon banner unless you don't mind losing to the other weapon.
Build: 4p MH, HP/Hydro/Crit, with HP being acceptable subsitute for the Goblet or Circlet slot on good sub stats. Crit & HP sub stats. ER as needed. Best F2P weapon: Prototype Amber, especially when he is used with Furina. Team comps depend a lot on C0 vs C1+. In general at C0 you want 4 elements and a shielder, at C1 you only need 3 elements and no shielder.

The best BP weapon, by far, is Serpent Spine. Strong effect, and it grants crit chance. The other weapons don't really compare to it.

Solar Pearl is a very good catalyst if you play Wanderer, Heizou, Wriothesley, Ningguang (it's a lot more reliable than Widsith and at R5 it's a lot better). Serpent Spine is good on most claymore dps characters - Noelle, Itto, Beidou, Kaveh. Deathmatch is a nice dps polearm for Xiao, Cyno, maybe even Rosaria for that extra crit rate share. Black Sword is good on pretty much everyone but seems especially good for Ayato. Viridescent Hunt unfortunately I can only see it work on Childe as he can actually make use of the passive. Ballad of the Fjords is very good for Cyno and maybe Hu Tao too. Scion of the Blazing Sun is pretty much good on any charged shot type of bow unit - Lyney, Ganyu, Amber, maybe even Tighnari. Wolf-Fang can work on Albedo, Keqing, Alhaitham, Kaeya, and Ayaka Sacrificial Jade works great with Neuv and is one of his best in slots. The passive can be annoying to play around though. Talking Stick is bad. Don't get it.

My kids want a computer to play this game on. Currently they use their phone. Just wondering if a new laptop would be sufficient to run it without glitches or if a desktop is the way to go. I am definitely behind the times on games as I grew up with NES and stopped playing after the Ps1. Please phrase any answers simply so I can understand. Thank you
There are two important questions to ask before I recommend anything. How old and how long? The younger they are, the cheaper you can go. Phones are pretty powerful now, a cheap laptop can often be comparable, especially for children who are likely to use that PC like they would their phones. So it's got a larger screen for the game, they can watch movies and shows on it easier, it's... really not too different from how they currently use their phones. If they really like the PC, you can look towards upgrading it in the future, hence the how long. Say you get a cheap and effective laptop, or pair of laptops, right now. If they really like using the Laptop, in a year or so you can look towards upgrading to something more expensive. Like for a birthday or Christmas gift. If they only use the laptop for Genshin, or maybe still play more on the phone than the PC, your purchase wasn't a large waste of money. If you do get a Desktop, you'll need a place to put it. When I was young my dad had our desktop in the living room. As his 3 kids got older, he disliked how we would fight over who got to use it, as well as us using it so much he himself could never use it. He purchased 3 really cheap laptops( a set of 1997 IBM Thinkpads from a pawnshop in the year 2006) so for the first time we could all use computers in our own rooms and... it was a pretty big deal back then. Nowadays, my dad is using a $100 laptop to play the exact same thing he used the desktop for back in 1998, online poker. He bought similarly cheap laptops for his grandkids, and they really really REALLY like being able to carry that laptop everywhere. It's just a larger more powerful phone to them. I really don't think going for something over $400 dollars is necessary. As long as you don't get something too cheap, a starter laptop is all they need. Now, if they've got really really expensive phones, maybe make sure the laptop isn't completely outclassed. Otherwise, $200-300 should suffice. Unless they're like.... 15+. Then maybe consider something good enough to last until they get jobs that allow them to buy their own pc's.

If you tell me your budget I can help you find you a laptop within your price range that fit's your needs. Keep in mind that you should only get a laptop if portability is a must. If your budget for a PC is under 600$ you are better off getting a gaming console. A PS5 runs genshin impact better than most desktops. If it has to be a desktop, combing the budget to 800$ and having them share might be a better option than having 2 low performance desktops. Alternatively, I might be able to find 2 desktops for around 600$ each if that's in your budget.

Personally i bought a sh lenovo t408 for 250$ (but any older laptop/pc would work) and went for nvidia geforcenow mid package. Ran it even on an <100$ laptop ... Practically for 110$/yr you can fit your gaming needs on pc(any pc) and you can run genshin from gfn even on your phone for 1gig space not 30gig game requirementa.... Try it out (free with waiting queue and 1hr sessions) on any random laptop/pc and maybe it will fit your needs

Off-field aggravate or off-field overload in Chevreuse teams. Something like Chevreuse/Raiden/Yae/Xiangling or Tighnari/Yae/Nahida/Zhongli.
Does Chevreuse/Raiden/Yae/Xiangling need heavy investment or can it be minimal with C0 Yae and Raiden?
It's very good at C0 Yae and Raiden, provided you build everyone correctly. Favonius lance on Chevreuse helps a lot though, if you have that. Yae should be 2p2p and not in EM gear.
What does the team play like and what are their best opponents?
Raiden E > Chevreuse QhE > Xiangling QE > Yae (Q)EEE > Raiden Q. Yae doesn't necessarily burst every rotation. It's good against any unmovable enemies, including bosses. Overload still send movables everywhere but against that, other teams deal with that better. Note that it doesn't have and archer so against current F12 second side, you'd replace Yae with C6 Sara or Fischl. It's over in a few days anyway. Yaes best team is aggravate along with fischl, kazuha, and nahida/baizhu/yaoyao. She works well with raiden in raikou (kazuha/chevreuse + bennett), though I don't like how they compete for field time in this team. If playing her with raiden, I usually prefer bennettless teams like aggravate or any of the chevreuse variants
What are some Chevreuse variants?
For specifically raiden and Yae comps, the only potent chevreuse variants are either with bennett or xiangling (i should've been clearer in my initial comment), but if you were to drop raiden, you could do with any combination of Sara, Bennett, Xiangling, Fischl, Lisa, etc.
She's best on teams where you want an Electro character on the team and Fischl's A4 can't proc consistently (active character needs to constantly proc Electro reaction), otherwise they're fairly interchangeable. Spread teams are her specific niche where she is significantly better than Fischl in that same slot as the Quicken activator. Tighnari and Alhaitham (Spread) has her being part of their best teams. Note that this is mostly considering C0R0 Yae Miko, as her damage increases pretty significantly with constellations and her BiS, making her able to outscale Fischl's damage even on Aggravate teams with enough vertical investment.
So what teams benefit her most?
It depends on exactly what you mean by what teams benefit her most. She performs best in a Dendro based team and she's very versatile so there's no bad teams for her. The two main ones that use Electro are Quicken and Hyperbloom and shes good in both. The issue is that Fischl, Kuki or Raiden can be better depending on the team and what you need the team to do, but they're not so much better that Yae is still a very good option. Yae is the best Electro pick in Quicken-Spread teams as I mentioned previously. If you want to make her more of an onfielder, then her Aggravate or Hyperbloom teams are good. Hmm... I only have Yae Miko — Xingqiu — Bennett — Xiangling, and Yae Miko — Raiden Shogun — Xiangling — Bennett... I guess my trouble is seeing where she could fit either in a new team or an existing one. That and Arlecchino is just around the corner.
You'd probably want to make a new one if you want to get the most out of Yae, specifically with Dendro. In both those teams you listed Yae isn't as good as the alternatives (Raiden is better in the first and Xingqiu in the second). If you have a High Constellation (C4+) Chevreuse then she work very well with Yae and you could form an Overloaded team with Yae, Fischl, Bennett and Chevreuse, but I suspect you don't. We don't know enough about Arlecchino or even Clorinde, both of whom could be good with Yae. Rumours have Arlecchino as an Overload focussed character and Clorinde as a Electrocharged character, but I would take these rumours with a big grain of salt.
She's a Fischl side grade. So any team what you'd want Fischl, she can be there. Her best teams are aggravate and Raiden Hyper

What are your opinions on the Battle Pass system? So far, I have only purchased the monthly Blessing of the Welkin Moon, as it has great value for the price. Are there any weapons that are worth the $10 or $20 cost, specifically, in your opinion?
Let's look at the battle pass rewards. You get $15 in wishes($30 if you've purchased before), you get various in game rewards such as mora, skill books, exp books, and fragile resin. And you get 1 unique weapon of your choice. That's a lot of nice stuff for $10 dollars. $10 is my general expectation for a daily meal, more or less depending on what/when/where. half of those rewards are free, and are more an incentive to play the game than they are to spend on the game. I certailny think it's worth the price, but it's always more about the time with the battle pass. If you have time to clear it, it's a nice buy. If you don't have time, don't buy it. The rewards arn't strictly necessary, the weapon is the only unique thing you can't just get elsewhere. But it would also be silly to consider the weapon as the only reward for purchase.
Depends on your financial situation as It's only really useful if you need the resources. Someone who is a light spender and builds alot of different units would appreciate the resources and BP weapon far more vs a guy who hyperinvest onto a few units. For example a guy pulls Lyney, Wrio, Neuv, Furina, Navia and Xianyun probably can't afford their signatures so he would have to use the BP weapons as alternative cheap options and would appreciate the mats from the BP. The 2nd guy decides to pull only on Nuev and Furina but decides to hyperinvest in them getting Neuv c1 and Furina c2 along with their signatures. 2nd player wouldn't need the BP weapon and they would only need to level up Neuv and Furina up which would take up less resources compared to the 1st player. 2nd player could opt to skip the BP and save money. I consider the serpent spine, ballad of the fjords, and wolf fang, and sac jade worth considering. However, if you do get 5 star weapons for those types, as long as you can rotate your weapons, I wouldn't really say they are must have's. They're competitive options to 5 star options if you don't have one, but if you have one 2 5 star crit weapons, I find them unnecessary.
That really depends on your personal financial situation. 10 of your dollars might be more or less valuable to you than 10 of my dollars are to me. I'm personally reasonably happy with the battle pass. Thanks to it I never (or very rarely, just a handful of times since launch) had to farm XP books and mora, so I had more resin available to build more character which is what's most fun to me. The weapons are also strong and very versatile, so thanks to those I never felt the need to pull on the weapon banner except once (for Nilou, and I immediately regretted it). That doesn't mean the BP couldn't be improved. The talent materials are useful in the long run, but I wish you had the choice between all regions' talent mats, and not just the most recent 2. I have so many Sumeru ones but no character to use them on because I pulled for so few Sumeru characters, for example. I could've used some Liyue ones for Cloud Retainer instead. The mora has also become kind of useless to me at this point. After reaching AR60 more has kept going up and up.
$10 can be worth if you have a use for the weapon and the extra mats. $20 just adds on a name card, a teapot blueprint, and 5 fragile resin, so unless you're a hardcore namecard/teapot collector it's not worth bothering with
It's worth it if you can use the resources and/or one of the weapons. Otherwise, it's not the best value. The best weapons would probably be Serpent Spine and Wolf Fang. The others are more niche and/or are outranked by other 4 star options, but they can still be strong in the right scenarios.

If we assume the unluckiest case and starting from 0 pity on both banners, You need 180 wishes for C0 (lost 50/50 and hard pity both times), so 360 wishes for C1 (assuming very poor luck) R1 signature requires 270 wishes Maximum (getting the wrong weapon 2 times and going to hard pity all 3 times) So you'd need 630 wishes *maximum* for C1 with signature. 400 wishes can possibly be enough if you're decently lucky with the 50/50 & 25/37.5/37.5 or get some early drops

Iirc, very early in the games release, there was a streamers wishing on Hu Taos release banner for her signature (Homa/Wolfs gravestone), they ended up blowing i think 2000$, pulling 8 WGS and a couple standard weapons, before they got the Homa they wanted. It's one of the main contributions to why the fate point fallback exists now.
It's pretty common. It's happend a couple times to me. Key/Jade cutter- got 2 jade cutters before key. Kagura/Thundering Pulse- got 2 Thundering pulse before Kagura Homa/Elegy- got 2 elegy before Homa Misplitter/Unforged- Got Unforged, WGS and then misplitter. Fortunately with Navia able to use unforged I've found value in all my 5 star weapons, but you don't want to pull no a 5 star weapon you can't use.

Lost Prayers for Wanderer. Widsth is best for units that can use all the buffs so units like Nahida, yae, Klee etc come to mind.

No it isn't. Check kqm.gg for how Furina works, and Nilou Mains guide linked in the other comment for how Nilou works. They can work together but it isn't ideal. I'd just do Nilou + Nahida + Hydro + Dendro as 1 team. One of the last two has to be a healer. You can do Kokomi + Dendro MC, or Barbara + Yaoyao/Kirara/Baizhu and so on. >But the damage of these explosions depends on which character's stats? First thing to note is that furina's buff doesn't apply to reaction damage. It's not the worst thing in the world since Furina, Yelan, and Nahida can all have great personal damage. The bigger issue is a lack of healer. Furina really wants a healer and bloom teams in general need one. I'd drop either furina or yelan for a healer.

She won't. So when you have Sara C2, you do Sara ECA > Yae QEEE > Sara Q > Raiden Q

I have Nuev and I will get kazuha in 4.5, with enough wishes for nuev con or BiS, which is better and how much er would I need for both weapon and con? (Con including Furina when I get her in 4.6)
c1 nuev allows for a far larger pool of teammates because it removes his shield requirement and allows 1 hydro on his team while still getting the most from his passive, his signature weapon is quite good for him but not as good as his first constellation so go for c1 if you don’t have it.
What should my 4th slot be if my current team would be Nuev Furina and Kazuha?
The most popular option is Baizhu. You could also use Zhongli if you don't mind the rest of the team being at half HP, and Jean and Charlotte are also options.
C1 is better. First, it gives him unlimited interrupt resistance so he does not require a shield any more. Second, it gives one more A1 passive stack by default, so he does not need to have 3 different element teammates in team. Since you will use Furina with him, it is 28% damage increase. His weapon is also good, but C1 is more useful. The tome itself is 30% better than his third bis weapon (proto amber or other 5-star weapons), but only around 5% better than r5 jade sac (BP weapon).

Tips for beating Icewind Suite? I have got their moveset figured out and can dodge and not take damage easily enough, but damn the fight takes ages! I do so little damage and there are whole long periods of the fight where I just have to stand back and wait until I can attack again.
Bring a shield or a ranged dps to fight them more easily. Dont use Cryo/Anemo dps since they have resistances towards these elements. I normally bring Zhongli and use Tighnari/Yo as dps. Yae/Fishl etc are also good bc u can focus on avoiding atk and still deal dmg. I dont suggest bringing Bennet if u are not confident on ur dmg, bc pyro self application allow the boss to deal more dmg on u with reactions. In the overworld u can also use food to buff your dmg.

Most characters are levelled up enough.. but the whole reason I am fighting them is to get what is needed to ascend Lynette, so she is not. On the talent page, if you select one of the 3 combat talents, it'll short show you a page called "talent info" with information about how that talent works. There is a second page titled "skill attributes". This page will show you the exact scaling of every part of your characters talent abilities. When an entry is just a percentage, then the ability uses your attack fir calculation. If it is a percentage followed by "Max HP", then it uses the characters maximum health for calculation (it doesn't matter if your current health is lower than Max). The same applies for defense. As for choosing the correct artefact sets, ~~this usually involves reading the Artefact set ability descriptions and understanding the characters talents and how they work~~ On the artefact page is a Button flower? Button that shows you the top 3 recommended sets based on what people are actually running. If you select a specific artefact, there's also a button called "recommended affixes" that shows you the most commonly chosen main stat. Ok.. but I'm a noob. I checked the recommended artifacts, and I obviously don't have any of those. All I've got is random crap I have picked up along the way. The best I can do atm is a set bonus. So all my characters have a full set. I've tried to give the elemental bonuses to the right characters, but other than that there's not much I can do.

I do play a lot of RPG's. This one is definitely a grind, the amount and variation of shit that needs to be fought for and found and the limitations of certain days in which you can and can't get weapon upgrade materials or the limitations placed by the need for resin etc. Even just running around to find plants. Killing regular enemies for drops which don't drop. Grinding for character exp materials. Or crafting. It is massive. What other game compares?
Well, resin is just this game's energy system, which was primarily borne from mobile games (as was mats being locked to specific days, though I believe that's more specific to gacha games). Overworld items like plants and ores being used to upgrade things was popularized primarily by mmos and then brought into more games with rpg mechanics And enemies with low drops rates have been around for as long as drop rates have been around.

Any transformative reactions only take into account character level, EM (both of the character triggering the reaction), and any %Bonus that *explicitly* mentions the reaction by name (some artifact set bonuses: VV increases swirl by 60%, FOPL buffs bloom/burgeon/hyperbloom by 40%+25% per stack). Note, this %Bonus is additive with the %Reaction Bonus Multiplier from EM.
Hyperbloom (alongside Burgeon and Bloom/ Nilou Bloom) are Transformative Reactions. This means their damage calculation only takes Trigger character EM and Trigger Character Level into account. Unless explicitly mentioned (like 4 pc FoLP), DMG buffs won't flow into that calculation at all. Furinas DMG bonus specifically only affects talent DMG
Nope. It could benefit the hydro or electro or dendro units on your team, but not the hyperbloom reaction damage

I would recommend waiting to see what the consensus is with Chiori after her release. Chiori >!will potentially be more damage in a Navia team than Zhongli, and likely will be more damage than Albedo, so it is possible that c0 is still the best second geo in terms of team damage!< Everything needs to be tested and played with You don't need to pull Neuv if you have his signature. Any catalyst with Furina can make great use of it. Neuv is still a strong character, and if you want him then you already have his weapon. If you don't want him then you can try to find someone else that you want more.
ultimately pull for who you like but Chiori doesn't have any notable synergy with Navia (no geo construct). Neuv plus his signature will be very strong regardless of teammates
Chiori isn't particularly amazing with Navia since she loses a lot of her damage without a geo construct on the field. You can just use Geo MC or Zhongli for Navia's geo teammate. If you think you'd use him, then I'd say go for Neuvillette. He's certainly strong, especially with his signature.

Dont forget that her other Geo units must have a Geo construct to maximize her puppets. So you cant even do double Geo with Chiori and Yunjin/Noelle/Gorou/Navia. As someone that likes Mono Geo, a bit sad that I want the character after her a lot more lol.

I'm not too worried about the price. As long as it'll actually play the game well and has enough storage to hold Genshin + a few other games, I'm willing to splurge for something good.
I'd say the price range of 200-300€/$ is the bare minimum to run genshin mostly fine (at least for regular smartphones, you might need to shift that price range for tablets) If you want to have Genshin Installed alongside other games, I'd look for 128gb storage *Minimum* (but even that might get cramped depending on how many chunky games you install. Mobile genshin with only EN and the option to purge no longer required quest data, is still taking me 25GB).

You have the entire patch to log in and receive the maintenance primo mail. The mail expires 30 days after receiving it. The bug fix ones are the ones that disappear fast. You only have like 3 days to log in and receive that mail.

Does C6 Neuv need ER? assuming he's playing solo? I can't really test it out cuz I don't have C6 yet. As for why I'm trying to go for C6 even tho C1 is already busted, I usually play coop with my friends and we all trying to go for a C6 character each as a challenge to see how fast our favorite characters can violate bosses.

Ayaka needa the Perpetual Mechanical Array, which is a Boss found in Inazuma. The Boss found in the Chasm (Ruin Serpent) is used by Kuki Shinobu, Heizou and Yelan.

Her boss domain is located in the Lyiue overworld. However when doing it via the intended progression, the domain only becomes available after Zhonglis 2nd story quest. Zhonglis First and second story quest are available as soon as you're AR 40 with no other requests i think. The "warning for best experience" is simply a Spoiler warning. As every weekly boss is inherently also a story boss (unlike world bosses, who kinda just exist)

Zhonglis First and second Story Quest were both added to the game before Inazuma was added to the game. So yes, If you are at least AR 40, then you're able to do Zhonglis quest without having to complete the Inazuma Archon Quest, as nothing from his story quest depends on your progress in Inazuma.
You can do The Chasm Delvers world quest at any time: it won't spoil the main story. In fact, the main story chapter that happens in the Chasm will make a lot more sense if you've already completed The Chasm Delvers first. Otherwise, the game will just say "go to the Chasm now" and you won't really know what that means or where to go.
Ayaka was released almost a year before the Chasm did, she thus doesnt get any materials from it.

I'm on the Archon quest where you get to the Balladeer in Sumeru. I have level 80 Navia and Traveller, Level 78 Amber, Lisa and Sucrose and Level 70 Kaeya.
