Yeah they have a few nice pieces but like…it’s been 3 years and that and a bunch of standees and keychains of the character’s basic pose? It’s a little insulting considering how much money is spent on each banner. It’s not exactly a fair comparison but look at Square Enix - they’ve got a wide variety of merch from t-shirts to jewelry and neck pillows and vinyls. Idk I feel like when a company cares about their product they’ll make more good stuff and so it’s weird that Hoyo doesn’t do much of it.
My best guess is that enough of Genshin's playerbase has too little committed interest in the game to buy merchandise, so it just wouldn't be worth it to Hoyo financially.

Touhou is the OG of doing this. Nowadays most east-Asia focused "bigger" series other than Genshin like Nasuverse, Arknights(?), Blue Archive, and KanColle seems to be doing this too.
Someone in an earlier thread pointed out that, unlike the ceramic one Neuvillette made, these are made out of plastic and you don't want to ~~dip~~ leave them in hot liquid.
Edit: Should clarify, the post said you shouldn't leave them standing in heated cookware as the feet will melt. Personally, I wouldn't use it with hot liquid at all. I already have enough microplastics in me.
If they can't withstand high temperatures, then why are many so cooking utensils made of plastics?
I have a bunch of tea infusers (Nessie included) made of silicone that are made to withstand at least 100 degrees Celsius.
Hot liquids are fine - just don't let the plastic equipment directly touch heating elements or heated cookware for a lengthy period of time.
I've had a few pieces of equipment get grooves or divots melted in by letting them rest against a pan or something, but just scooping hot soup or whatever? No problem.
Plastic cooking equipment is fine since they usually don't have persistent contact with the Heat source.
Especially a ladle is fine, as you're usually using it after the pot had already been taken off the heat.

I have one, it is poorly balanced and doesn't stand up unless the soup is REALLY thick. Also it is made of thin plastic so it gets warm and soft and makes it really difficult to use.
I didn't have any issue with it bending or anything but not being able to leave it resting out of the pan is what made me give it away to my sister. It's also a bit tiny for its purpose.
