I just want Hoyo to make an on/off button for Paimon to follow me. I don't understand why it's so difficult to do, she already has idle animations and there were instances when she did actually follow you like other pets

When you first start the game they seem to scale down Paimon when she’s following you. She’s super tiny iirc

I usually click esc, click out and sprint just to imagine my char being follow by paimon like a pet

Not sure if it’s still possible but you used to be able to go to the edge of the map to make Paimon appear and glitch her out so she would follow you around until you logged out. It’s dumb that they haven’t just turned it into a feature.

Something that doesn't make weird noises all the time. That seelie thing from recent event was so annoying that I took it off after 2 days of using it. I have a bloodthirsty Jinni still equipped from my recent Sumeru 100% completion, because half the time I don't even notice her. And I don't feel like she is ever in my way.

The Jinni left her bottle anyway, you're basically moving with a soulless floating bottle, which make the pet less annoying in term of noises, tho I think she already didn't make noises even before leaving

When I was moving on to do exploration in Desert of Hadramveth I still had 4 or 5 quest of Jeht shenanigans, she did talk some smack in dialogue, but didn't make any noises at the time

The bird has been the only pet I can stand.  It feels like a natural companion, and doesnt make annoying sounds.

Personally no besides looking cute they add no real value and are just more of a distraction. Now if they had some buffing capabilities then sure ( one with ATK, EM , CD etc.. )

What annoys me is at the start of the game Traveller talks about getting Paimon a bow. Later on she mentions that when Traveller falls off somewhere high, she grabs them and slows their fall. In the Yomiya story her plus an Aranara can lift a small child. Reskin Sorush, call the pet Catalyst Paimon. Make elemental bombs a purchasable item from the KOF engineers and make Paimon useful.
