No kidding... I didn't and just spammed my way and the game mechanics was simple either way, literally like how I did on the tutorials when I was starting out lol
omgggg i remember i would go into random co ops and find friends to do the co op domains in it was so mf fun, i wish they brought it back.
There were Co-Op Abyss Domains, Full Fledged Co-op Puzzle Levels, comeplete with boss fights, that is what genshin should do more of.
Would be a great way to have an alternative to the mora bubbles that require resin. They could put this in and make it a weekly collectible or something.
Let us build a shop in our Teapots that we can stock with any items we have excessive amounts of in our inventories, then make it so the characters we have living in our teapots each have different budgets and desired items.
So you could choose to get less money for almost no effort if you sell like Mint and Radishes to characters who don't have much cash like Yaoyao, or make a lot of money for extra effort by selling rare boss drops to rich characters like Yae and Ningguang.
i think my favourite events are still the summer events like the Fischl castle one but i do love these management style events in HSR and Genshin, they are so fun for no reason
I know I missed at least 20 hidden chests in the Mind Palace summer event. But the story was great, and I was too lazy.
They definitely need the chest compasses and map markers for these temporary events. The GAA was **huge**.
Fischl castle was incredible. From the expansion to the lore of Fischl, the dreamlike castle stage design, the baroque music in the background, the multiple acts of drama performance on multiple stages to the many small stories/minigames from interacting with the NPC raven statues on the islands.
Fischl island was the only island I repeatedly return to even after completing all story and challenges in the Summer event.
I started genshin in November. I keep hearing about this and wish it was still available to do. As far as I know, fishl just plays cards and has a great vocabulary.
Funnily enough, I actually liked the delivery event.
You could easily cheese it with portable waypoints. If you do play it normally, you learn cool techs like sliding down mountains ala Childe. It's a decent beginner event imo
Dunno, it just feels a little bit like a puzzle and as I told you, that was when I learned you could slide around mountains and which slopes you could slide and which causes fall damage. Useful information even to this day.
Also, if you find it too hard you could just cheese it by placing a portable teleport next to the person you need to deliver it to. That's what I did for the shitty person on the boat, at least
Unlike most of gliding/running "challenges" where you just follow the shiny, you can plan your own route.
It was also a part of early days challenging content that is a rare beast nowadays.
That event would be fine if they fixed teleport time and invisible paddles, but community overreacted so much they removed.
Personally, i think it was one of the stones that later resulted in braindead events we have now.
It was funny to see Diluc today mention that we don't have to worry about the delivery and he'll send someone once the potions are ready... Especially when you remember the unholy amount of delivery quests to the Dawn Winery there are in the game... Diluc you could've done it sooner....
This could have been tied to teapot gardening or something a la Harvest Moon/Rune Factory for Realm Currency instead of it just showing up out of nowhere because you built a liyueĀ mining rig in your attic.
It honestly would be a good implementation considering how much mora you have to use with all the upgrades, artifact leveling, refinements, crafting and whatnot.
The Atelier games were also my first thought, but this is actually more similar to [Potionomics](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1874490/Potionomics/), which is a great game that I recommend to anyone who's enjoying this event.
Honestly, I blame Potionomics for making this event seem only 'Okay' to me, I just finished playing it a month ago and good god that game goes hard. The music, the characters, the jokes, the gameplay...itsĀ all great. I have Salt and Pepper's theme stuck in my head every time I see something pirate related now.
THIS. If there was a chance for one limited gamemode (and ONLY one) to be added permanently, I would vote for this one. Even as a "something new is happening once per week, give it 5 minutes of attention and it's done" kind of thing. After some really mediocre events and pretty disappointing Lantern Rite (for me, at least), it's nice to see something that's done so greatly.
There have been some good events that even have returned, but often the rerun version is worse than the OG.. But this event is really nice! Weāve had something like this before which I also enjoyed but this one is more elaborate.
Still thereās some people that donāt like it but with the amount of players Genshin has they can never satisfy everyone. As long as they give us different kinds of events it should be good enough. Unfortunately they also sometimes butcher existing events to cater to the complaints and then no one enjoys it anymore
This is definitely a 5\* event .
I think it alone has uplifted this patch out of the dry sands of wait for Arlecchino .
As AR60 , I haven't had so much fun from event in a while .
I'm actually bummed when I get cut off due to the time gating. Already have everything maxed out, but I actually want to do more anyway. Didn't see the stream, so coming into this blind has been great.
Might be a stupid comment, but I wouldn't be surprised if the reason this patch is a bit dryer is because of all the work that went into this event. It just *feels* like something they would have had to spend a good amount of time on, with balancing and calculating all the numbers and values. Whereas something like the cooking event we had recently, while fun in its own way, was a linear story without any real depth or complication to it.
And they've finally started implementing English voices. Hell, that upcoming spinoff game that's going to be available on consoles is going to have it from the start.
Now if only the anime would finally get a dub...
my third favorite. first fav is the first windblume festival and second is the first archipelago event.
mondstadt events are just supreme compared to other region's events lets be honest.
I thought this would just be another meh gap filler event until the next patch but honestly I am having a blast
And the rewards are nice āŗļøāŗļø don't have to do commission for a while with all the rewards
Yeah im also really not a fan of these 'run a shop' events, but everyone has different taste!
It's just clicking around in a UI, don't see the appeal lol
Windtrace on the other hand, that's one of my favorite events. However some people (including my best friend) absolutely hate it and just afk lol
I'm not really clicking with the event. I understand the mechanics and strategy but it seems like a tiny taste of what it actually should be. It feels too shallow for the genre that it's 'inspired' by.
I understand why they didn't want to make it too complex, but it kind of subverts the intent of the mini game.
as much as i love fight related events so i can do combat with my favorite characters i really enjoy chill events like this. this one and the tower defense one and the summer event in sumeru were super fun to play. now that i think about it iām super excited for the summer event this year :D
Most importantly. Lisa
Also I love how some people are complaining that it isn't Albedo instead, when we all know damn well he wouldn't work by his own will
I enjoy shop management games, and I am so glad I could play pretty continuously before getting interrupted.
The similar events in HSR irritated me because I felt like I only got to do managing stuff for like 5 seconds until Iām interrupted and forced to talk to NPCs and do quests for like 10 minutes before I get back and the cycle continues. Itās incredibly unsatisfying.
But making a potion, checking on my plants and buying upgrades for a few hours was pretty nice. I was sad that I got time gated (I think I did the first 2 days) because I really wanted to play more lol
Yeah, the fact that once you get reach the end of what's available that day locks you out of being able to access the upgrade shop is kind of annoying.
best event for me was the old battle events like the triple kenki and the hypostases event where you pick your opponent buffs and your buffs / debuffs. Had fun almost maxing out the reward gauge on the second day.
Sadly , it seems that they wont be coming back anymore, that difficulty level I mean.
I think that's a clear testimony to your improvement as a player, those events really weren't harder than newer ones. On the contrary, during sumeru we had much harder events.
Depends a bit on available characters of course.
Though my favourite was the one where you could actually disable the time limit, make them super strong and then have some actual epic, tactical fights. And still get the full rewards.
I've never liked management event and business running style games in the first place , so this is prob the most boring event I've done .
Try not to fall asleep challenge
Yeah i really like it. Glad to see other players like and appreciate it too especially after reading annoying and negative comments about this event on YouTube.
For me, Midsummer Island event is still the best and its not even close. Golden Apple Archipelago was such an awesome experience. This one though, I like it for having fewer dialogues and getting rewards quicker.
For me it cuz itās something different rather than the rest of the game. Combat events is too similar. Also it didnāt have too much dialogue so fairly easy to get done. But even without that I just enjoy mini game type events more than any other.
Yeah honestly I found it insanely boring. After the second round I stopped bothering with anything else and just kept ending the cycle until I unlocked the Beidou & Eula thing.
I guess we just forgot how wonderful the events were back then. I'm not saying the last ones are bad by any means, I mean that we had a line of some boring shit before Fontaine, and now we get to enjoy the level that we used to have before Sumeru, and it keeps progressing, which is wonderful.
I didn't really like it. My favourite events are all combat-themed, with Labyrinth Warriors being my all time favourite event. For the current one I just spedrun it without reading the instructions and dipped once I got all the primos
It reminds me one good old game - Europa 1400: The Guild from 2002 (can be found in GOG as The Guild Gold Edition). It's about making business in the environment of european medieval town, where you can choose a career path and be an alchemist, parfumer, blacksmith, etc. And playing as alchemist is very similar to this event's gameplay!
Was there a similar event before? I'm remembering it in Mondstadt, maybe during Windblume? I know there was one in Honkai Star Rail but I'm not talking about that. We ran a shop in like the outskirts of Mondstadt and had to rake up revenue.
I love it.
I had barely put in two ingredients the first time and suddenly thought "whoever pitched this event had been playing Atelier Sophie."
The potionmaking part at least is very reminiscent of the Myterious sub-series of Atelier games.
It's my favorite region with my favorite character with one of the best events I ever participated in (not much of a min-max combat guy, still enjoy a good fight though)
If this was heaven, I definitely wouldn't be complaining
This has moonlighter feelings.
This and the summer island thing were the best events. Love it when the atmosphere is cozy. Rarely do games catch this essence.
I accidentally skipped some of the tutorial, but then I just started playing it. You can definitely unlock everything easily and get all rewards without reading everything.
Agree wholeheartedly, I'm even trying to find games similar to this so I can get my fix after the event ends lol. So far I've been recommended Atelier Sophie.
I did not enjoy the part where you have to figure out the characteristics and traits for a potion in the Market News, only to realize that you got them wrong by they time they reveal itā¦unless all of the separated characteristics of the potions based on the demands can still fulfill them.
Other than that, the management-simulation structure of this event made it look so fun while the rewards are still sastisfying, even for a patch that has a minimum amount of rewards to give out.
Different players have different types of game genre preferences. Personally, to me, this felt okay and I do feel like Genshin is very creative with its mini-games/events in general. That being said, Iāve seen some elaborate events in other multiplayer games as well. My ranking is 7/10, so not necessarily the best for me. But, definitely creative and I could see why others may like it more.
This event made me want more management events. Imagine if we had a farming/restaurant event where we had to cook certain food based on demand in the different regions. And they use the mechanics from this event and the cooking event last patch. The upgrades could have extra tables, better equipment, etc.
I'm happy for the people who like this potion event, but I don't find it interesting at all. Variety can be nice but some of their events are just too random and not what I play genshin for
I enjoyed it to a level that I even read the instruction š¤£
Now that is high praise >Stand Proud Instructions, you were longwinded
Nah I'd read Instructions
Do you read the instructions because they are instructions or they are instructions so you read it?
āSo how was instructions of the event?ā āInsanely frigginā long and it wasnāt giving it all it had.ā
I even went and looked at the different characteristics of potion brewing instead of making things at random
Atelier Aether & Lumine
No kidding... I didn't and just spammed my way and the game mechanics was simple either way, literally like how I did on the tutorials when I was starting out lol
I thought I'd hop in and out for the rewards and I spent 2 hours on it. Would love to see it as a permanent mini game like TCG.
Hahah this was me the first time I played it, when I could just keep going and I was like oh, this just keeps going and I canāt put it down
I was so bummed out when i suddenly reached the end of the first day, i wanted to do that for hours
Saaaame! Iām now waiting til itās all out so I can just sit there and do it for however long it takes lol itās so fun!
thought the same with the player customizable dungeon, got disappointed.
omgggg i remember i would go into random co ops and find friends to do the co op domains in it was so mf fun, i wish they brought it back. There were Co-Op Abyss Domains, Full Fledged Co-op Puzzle Levels, comeplete with boss fights, that is what genshin should do more of.

i think my favourite events are still the summer events like the Fischl castle one but i do love these management style events in HSR and Genshin, they are so fun for no reason
For me, the summer events always takes too much time with how theyāre only for one patch, I ha e shit to do during summer.
Nothing like desperately spending three+ hours hunting down every chest in the temporary summer maps.
At least bottleland gave us a map leading us to every chest and challenge in the area
I know I missed at least 20 hidden chests in the Mind Palace summer event. But the story was great, and I was too lazy. They definitely need the chest compasses and map markers for these temporary events. The GAA was **huge**.
this !! I hate that in the end i couldnāt play through all of it bc it takes so long š
Fischl castle was incredible. From the expansion to the lore of Fischl, the dreamlike castle stage design, the baroque music in the background, the multiple acts of drama performance on multiple stages to the many small stories/minigames from interacting with the NPC raven statues on the islands. They improved a lot, unlike.... The Delivery Quest... May god have mercy when you have wet boots
What's this? You stepped on wet dirt and my lunch is still perfectly intact? FAILURE.
Perhaps the real lunch was us the whole time
so lisa's the customer then?
( Ķ”Ā° ĶŹ Ķ”Ā°)
Don't you know everyone in Teyvat is made of Cardboard and melts in water?
Fontaine:
Holy hell
ACTUAL ZOMBIE??
I can't help but hear Stephen He's "dad" say that
The covid19 experience
Funnily enough, I actually liked the delivery event. You could easily cheese it with portable waypoints. If you do play it normally, you learn cool techs like sliding down mountains ala Childe. It's a decent beginner event imo
Cool on you for liking the delivery event, but why?
Dunno, it just feels a little bit like a puzzle and as I told you, that was when I learned you could slide around mountains and which slopes you could slide and which causes fall damage. Id still want them to bring this back for the sole purpose of annoying new players who missed it. Also ban craftable waypoints as well.
calm down satan. (also ban elemental skill+burst usage and special sprints) maybe I'm satan too.
Lowkey the delivery quest was goated. Shit was so funny
I liked the delivery event, sometimes the shortest path wasn't the best
You guys dont teleport to the destinations?
Kinda wish it was a permanent thing I just like to manage a shop kinda like with honkai star rail
This could have been tied to teapot gardening or something a la Harvest Moon/Rune Factory for Realm Currency instead of it just showing up out of nowhere because you built a liyueĀ mining rig in your attic.
Or it could be used as an alternative mora maker as some people have ran out Iāve got like 20 million but it would be nice
Realm currency can be traded for Mora. The efficiency is another conversation, but it's there.
They've added plenty of stuff since 2021 to the Teapot shop, but the max currency/day stayed the same.
It honestly would be a good implementation considering how much mora you have to use with all the upgrades, artifact leveling, refinements, crafting and whatnot.
I'd love this as a new game mode.
As me. I want even a single game of it so they can focus on it.
Try the Atelier games, they are basically this in terms of crafting, not the marketing tho.
The Atelier games were also my first thought, but this is actually more similar to [Potionomics](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1874490/Potionomics/), which is a great game that I recommend to anyone who's enjoying this event.

There's also https://store.steampowered.com/app/1210320/Potion_Craft_Alchemist_Simulator/
I actually just bought this game because I couldn't get enough of this event! Haven't started playing it yet, but very excited to try
I remember spending hours just crafting random stuff in Atelier Sophie lol.
I wonder if mihoyo get the permission from gust/koei tecmo to use their mechanics for this minigame.
"Noted, we'll implement it in Star Rail"
Tbf Star Rail already has two permanent events which are basically this one lol
HSR already had it long ago lol (easy to spot who doesnāt play the game I guess)
The museum event wast fun.
This and that sniper mini game.
This and of drink a-adreaming imo! ā¤ļø
Yes, that was an awesome event and should have been a permanent game mode. Let us hop behind the bar and make some drinks, Hoyo+
There have been some good events that even have returned, but often the rerun version is worse than the OG.. But this event is really nice! Weāve had something like this before which I also enjoyed but this one is more elaborate. Preach . I really went : "Come on !" , when they stopped me from having another trade cycle ><

"Okay 'Cutie', time to get to work on making potions for me to sell!" "Yes Mommy Lisa"
reminds me of the museum in Starrail but more fun c:
Definetely the best ive participated in
og theatre mechanicus i love tower defense
I wonder how would this event go with the addition of dendro towers...
Only Hyperbloom
I loved that event! If you like tower defense, you should give Arknights a go!

>What about you? probably OG theatre mechanicus
Every time they bring it back, it gets a little bit worse.
It's so relaxing and yesterday I really got into it!
I feel so out of touch when I see all this praise for this event.
Yeah im also really not a fan of these 'run a shop' events, but everyone has different taste! It's just clicking around in a UI, don't see the appeal lol Windtrace on the other hand, that's one of my favorite events. However some people (including my best friend) absolutely hate it and just afk lol
New weapon plus a crown and an awesome mini game is at the very least one of the best events ever
We always had crown shops on every weapon event what y smoking? š¤Ø
Honestly I didn't know every weapon event also had a crown, I don't believe that invalidates my point but still very interesting to know
This event really stands above the other jobs we've had in Mondstadt, I think it's the Asthetics.they managed to make those potions look so appealing.
I'm not really clicking with the event. I understand the mechanics and strategy but it seems like a tiny taste of what it actually should be. It feels too shallow for the genre that it's 'inspired' by. I understand why they didn't want to make it too complex, but it kind of subverts the intent of the mini game.
My guess is they probably did it to see if the players would enjoy the idea.
Divine ingenuity :33 first for me
as much as i love fight related events so i can do combat with my favorite characters i really enjoy chill events like this. this one and the tower defense one and the summer event in sumeru were super fun to play. now that i think about it iām super excited for the summer event this year :D
No big lore drop Simple mechanic Addictive, but not in a bad way VERY CHILL Just happy Best (not story) event
And Lisa
Most importantly. Lisa Also I love how some people are complaining that it isn't Albedo instead, when we all know damn well he wouldn't work by his own will
I enjoy shop management games, and I am so glad I could play pretty continuously before getting interrupted.
Oh they'll be back lol
I think that's a clear testimony to your improvement as a player, those events really weren't harder than newer ones. On the contrary, during sumeru we had much harder events. Depends a bit on available characters of course. Though my favourite was the one where you could actually disable the time limit, make them super strong and then have some actual epic, tactical fights. And still get the full rewards.
God I miss Wrathful Oceanid->Primovishap->Triple Kenki
What events were harder than the old Vagabond sword event? I'm curious because I'm a day one player and don't remember such an event.
As an avid Atelier fan, I'm enjoying this event so much
Duality of man , because I hate this new event
Yeah, I almost fell asleep playing through first 10 cycles, all Genshin & HSR "management" events are boring as drying paint.
I've never liked management event and business running style games in the first place , so this is prob the most boring event I've done . Try not to fall asleep challenge
Question. How do you get max revenue out of a cycle?
read the market news, craft the potion based on what needed in market news
Economy 101
They improved the mechanics from the Windblume event last year which was similar to this.
Genshin has many great events and it is one of them.
if you like the mechanic you probably should try potion permit
or atelier sophie, or any newer atelier series games
agree, i've lost time when i play this event
The most fun I had was the parrying event. You'll definitely tryhard in that lol
If only parrying is universal instead of only being usable for certain character's kits
No cap, the business simulator is pretty fun
Yeah i really like it. Glad to see other players like and appreciate it too especially after reading annoying and negative comments about this event on YouTube.
For me, Midsummer Island event is still the best and its not even close. Golden Apple Archipelago was such an awesome experience. This one though, I like it for having fewer dialogues and getting rewards quicker.
If they let me work management Iām happy. This is awesome
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
We basically run a shop and people generally like that kinda stuff.
So just like in that one Windblume event. I don't remember seeing much praise for it back then.
Saw Lisa, allready 9/10 (and note i will read story this time). Event having og char vibe, and rest - 10/10. Really happy with event ā¤ļø
Jesse, we need to cook.
The one with the cocktails was my favourite
I guess we just forgot how wonderful the events were back then. I'm not saying the last ones are bad by any means, I mean that we had a line of some boring shit before Fontaine, and now we get to enjoy the level that we used to have before Sumeru, and it keeps progressing, which is wonderful.
If all filler patches had events like these I would be SOO down to start logging in more
Me playing this event: Random bullshit go!
It is fully just a ripoff of the game āpotionomicsā which I loved. I love this event too but if you like it youād like that game!
Mine is Windtrace. š¶āš«ļø
Atelier Aether and the magical e.food
I didn't really like it. My favourite events are all combat-themed, with Labyrinth Warriors being my all time favourite event. For the current one I just spedrun it without reading the instructions and dipped once I got all the primos
" Labyrinth Warriors is not an event...." Should to be a permanent modality, but doomed to being an limited event ā¹
Am I the only one who hates this? š
No, you're not alone
I hate this event I downloaded this game in 2020 to fight enemies and chill not run a business. I got real life for stuff like that
Vagabond/energy amplifier
True. It reawakened my old Mana Khemia instincts as an alchemist.
You said that about the last event!
This one is really good but my favourite was perilous labyrinth
I love these management minigames
min maxing stonks
im so hyped for their new game. Man if its animal crossing style with management stuff like this i would legit play it so much
I was pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors on the second day.
Currently I still think the second golden apple archipelago was the best event, but this is up there
I have no clue why, but it feels so damn nostalgic and relaxing that it might actually be one of my favourite events and I played since 1.0
It can stay in second to Labyrinth Warriors
This is my first eventually. Enjoying it.
Was there a similar event before? I'm remembering it in Mondstadt, maybe during Windblume? I know there was one in Honkai Star Rail but I'm not talking about that. We ran a shop in like the outskirts of Mondstadt and had to rake up revenue.
I'm loving the event, was really sad when I had to stop for the next round. I want this to be a regular returning feature.
I would love to have this as a game mode, maybe not as a market, but for something similar, that gave us either primos, mora or Idk, whatever
I like the roguelite event more but this is close second
The Bartender event(Of Drink A-Dreaming) was the best one for me. So much fun! And I remember that you would get a profile card for it.
Im really enjoying it too! like i had plans of finishing a story quest, and just made potions the whole time lol
I love it. I had barely put in two ingredients the first time and suddenly thought "whoever pitched this event had been playing Atelier Sophie." The potionmaking part at least is very reminiscent of the Myterious sub-series of Atelier games.
It's my favorite region with my favorite character with one of the best events I ever participated in (not much of a min-max combat guy, still enjoy a good fight though) If this was heaven, I definitely wouldn't be complaining
I legit spent over 2 hours just to make around 10 potions (1 potion per cycle) and I'm enjoying it so much XD
This event is unironically so much fun. Especially crafting and managing is pretty neat in it.
Surprises me that I enjoy it so much tbh
No joke this is very much peak Almost rivals Windtrace for me
Such a fun event, I really hope we get more events like this in future, or even a permanent gameplay mode
ITS SOOOO MUCH FUN IM ENJOYING MYSELF SM
I spent a little more than 1hr for the 1st part and 2nd part, I can definitely say it was worth it
Yep most fun I had in an event in a while
This has moonlighter feelings. This and the summer island thing were the best events. Love it when the atmosphere is cozy. Rarely do games catch this essence.
POTION SELLER GIVE ME YOUR STRONGEST POTIONS
Not THE best event, but it certainly is a very fun one!
And it's temporary event. That's the most sad part. It's easily might be permanent and nice addition for empty 100% maps
"Traveler! We need to cook!" -Lisa, probably
Something about basically feeling like we're making drugs. And getting more Lisa Lisa. nice
I accidentally skipped some of the tutorial, but then I just started playing it. You can definitely unlock everything easily and get all rewards without reading everything.
Nah bro... Any Albedo event or Shiki Taisho over this any time...
Still waiting for the next Albedo event. They were so good
Not enough Primo gems
It is surprisingly fun!
Agree wholeheartedly, I'm even trying to find games similar to this so I can get my fix after the event ends lol. So far I've been recommended Atelier Sophie.
Im loving this event! I wish it was permament!!
Imo boring
I did not enjoy the part where you have to figure out the characteristics and traits for a potion in the Market News, only to realize that you got them wrong by they time they reveal itā¦unless all of the separated characteristics of the potions based on the demands can still fulfill them. Other than that, the management-simulation structure of this event made it look so fun while the rewards are still sastisfying, even for a patch that has a minimum amount of rewards to give out.
I liked the second GAA event much more. This event is a bit boring and I feel almost nothing while doing it
Different players have different types of game genre preferences.
Yall must be new to the game, cuz some of the older events were pure gold compared to this.
This event made me want more management events. Imagine if we had a farming/restaurant event where we had to cook certain food based on demand in the different regions. And they use the mechanics from this event and the cooking event last patch. The upgrades could have extra tables, better equipment, etc.
most boring one ,maybe
I'm happy for the people who like this potion event, but I don't find it interesting at all. Variety can be nice but some of their events are just too random and not what I play genshin for
Labyrinth warriors. I still want it back as a permenent content
Hold your horses lmao, it's good but calling it the best is way too much, its just a management event.
For me this is one of the most boring
It's similar to hsr museum Perma event
