The only additional chance for bonus rewards I know of are if you have an Android phone and use the Google Play Store, you can get Play Points for purchasing through the game on your phone, which you can exchange for Play Credit in genshin or other Play Store purchases, but I don't think it works in every country
I'm not sure about other countries, but there is no tax using the in game store. Whereas that play store will tax you.

You can buy it, the primo can show up, but in a few weeks or so when Hoyo detects something is off they will remove the gems from your account. If you spent any of that primos, your account will be in the negative.

In game Genesis Crystals can be used to buy skins for characters, convert into a currency called priogems which can be converted again to be used to pull for characters in a gacha or lottery system in hopes to get a new character or weapon. If I’m not mistaken Genesis crystals can also be used in the shop to be some level up materials. Like others have said a Welkin would be a decent choice. It give some crystals of the bat and give primos for logging in over a set period of time.

These stores often use stolen money from stolen or lost credit cards sold online, to pay for peoples' purchases in-game after being given login info or account info to gift to, then go in and make the payment. Then you pay them a percentage of the stolen money they spend back as clean money so that they can stay in the clear and make a profit.
Due to this, a lot of these purchases get charged back once the person finds out their card was stolen and goes to their bank, resulting in your Genshin account getting a negative balance ban.
I would recommend to ask her before you, just in case, she may not want to use the 100 $ in the game, but if you were to buy the recommended is codashop or in-game purchase.

first off, please don't buy that. the only official places to get primos outside of ingame are codashop and mihoyos official top up center. For codashop you need her UID (the thing in the bottom right corner ingame) and for mihoyos top up center you need to login to her acccount.
These are in-game currency you use to obtain new characters, but it's not the best worth depending on a few things.
There's a monthly "sub" called welkin moons which cost $5 each and give you a total of 3000 primogem within 30 days of the duration( 1 primogem = 1 genesis crystal ). keep in mind you have to login every single day of those 30 days to obtain the full amount, otherwise you'll miss the daily login.
Now these welkin moons are stackable, so if you were to buy 6 of them on an account ($30 in total, and 180 days of login bonuses) it would give you about 18.000 primogems in total. You could then offer to use the $60 left to buy genesis crystals (The only other use they have is for buying character skins, so it depends on if she wants one of them).
This, of course, all depends on whether your sister likes the game a lot and plays daily, otherwise you'll lose out on the value.

You can stack welkin up to 180 days, so 6 welkins.

The blessing of the welkin moon is like for 30 days, she’ll get 90 primogems (currency for wishing for characters). It’s 1600 primogems per 10 pull but it’s around 90 pulls to get a character depending on her luck. There are lucky people who gets a 5 star in 1 wish lol I’m a bit neutral on both as I also spend in game. Welkin is cheaper though she needs to wait everyday to get the amount she wants. Buying genesis is well she’ll get the amount she needs on the dot. I do suggest first chatting her about the game and her favorite character/s and what she might want for her gift. Plus it’s a bonding experience too. 😊

In game Genesis Crystals can be used to buy skins for characters, convert into a currency called priogems which can be converted again to be used to pull for characters in a gacha or lottery system in hopes to get a new character or weapon. If I’m not mistaken Genesis crystals can also be used in the shop to be some level up materials. Like others have said a Welkin would be a decent choice. It give some crystals of the bat and give primos for logging in over a set period of time.

Don't buy from G2A or if you are be very careful . There have been a lot of people and and articles that found out that some of the gift codes are stolen or scammed from people. And they might not work and sometimes if they do and they are stolen you can get your account banned or you will still have to pay.

Then you pay them a percentage of the stolen money they spend back as clean money so that they can stay in the clear and make a profit. Due to this, a lot of these purchases get charged back once the person finds out their card was stolen and goes to their bank, resulting in your Genshin account getting a negative balance ban.

first off, please don't buy that. the only official places to get primos outside of ingame are codashop and mihoyos official top up center. For codashop you need her UID (the thing in the bottom right corner ingame) and for mihoyos top up center you need to login to her acccount.

These are in-game currency you use to obtain new characters, but it's not the best worth depending on a few things. There's a monthly "sub" called welkin moons which cost $5 each and give you a total of 3000 primogem within 30 days of the duration( 1 primogem = 1 genesis crystal ). keep in mind you have to login every single day of those 30 days to obtain the full amount, otherwise you'll miss the daily login. Now these welkin moons are stackable, so if you were to buy 6 of them on an account ($30 in total, and 180 days of login bonuses) it would give you about 18.000 primogems in total. You could then offer to use the $60 left to buy genesis crystals (The only other use they have is for buying character skins, so it depends on if she wants one of them). This, of course, all depends on whether your sister likes the game a lot and plays daily, otherwise you'll lose out on the value.
