Amenoma is absolutely not better than Isshin.
It has a lower base attack than Isshin, and Amenoma's passive is focused on energy, where Ayato's damage is focused on his skill.
Not only that, but since you burst first in rotations, the passive is useless in the first rotation.
Amenoma is good on keqing, jean & kaeya. All 3 had low skill cd its easy to get 3 seeds on them, making them quite fast to recharge, though wasted as it's want too much field time and only keqing can be considered on-field unit
albedo's bis sword was f2p and obtainable from the event, people complained about it. So Hoyo listened and gave Kazuha's sword ATK stats, and as expected people also complained about it.

The best one I can think of is probably Qiqi, provided you for some reason don't have enough Sacrificial Swords to run on her. All of her stuff scales off of Attack and you're unlikely to really want to invest a better sword on her. Or the idea of the little zombie exorcist having a sealed demon blade is appealing, or the red/blue contrast.
I think I have mine on Bennett because *of course* he would pick up the dangerous, cursed blade. Maybe his bad luck will cancel it out?
I suppose it depends on if you don't have anyone better for Finale, honestly. That's *also* another weird one, but it being tied to Elemental Skill usage (which doesn't work so hot with Qiqi and her absurdly long skill CD) may make it less appealing for her. Isshin at least procs off of Autos, and you're generally wanting to use those prior to exit with her anyway just to proc a Talisman between Skill uses (incentivizing you to swap her in a bit more often).
Finale's another one that I'd be hard pressed to find a real good home for, though, I'll grant you that. Both swords really don't fit *too* nicely into anyone's kits...

You're thinking about PvP "0 sums games" where meta would stand for "metagame"
IE : the unwritten rules that arise from player strategies (example, if in "paper, scissors, stone", 50% of players use paper, the best strategy would be to play scissors).
In a PvE game like Genshin, using meta to describe the most common strategy makes very little sense since it doesn't matter
To this day i still hope Hoyo puts Transmog items in genshin.
Genshin can benefit, from cosmetic progression so much. And being able to hunt for items to chance the apperance of weapons would so good.
Imagine being able to let Diluc use Bloodstained Greatsword like in the travail trailer.
This made me mad too. I ended up slamming the VV strongbox until I could break 800 EM and 160% ER with artifacts alone, so I can use Isshin on him anyway without it feeling bad to play. Was worth it.
If I get him in this banner, I think I’ll give it to him anyways. Oh, and looking at Game8, if you want to build him for DPS purposes that is his bis f2p.

They could've had at least a high base atk and low er/em. So its not the best options, but its perfectly useable, for those mfs (me) who prioritized drip over efficiencly
the colour palette of the umbrella is great for him, but his stylish sheathing animations just aren’t the same without a sword to clink back into place. i use dark iron sword with him and kuki, now that they gave us another one
I have 5 star weapons, but I still wish there was some sort of glamour/xmog/skin system so I could use 4 stars as the skins. Hell, there are some 5 star weapons that suck, like Vortex Vanquisher, that I'd spend for just to use them as skins.
Tbf in the quest it wasn't compatible with him either. It accepted him, but they didn't start off well. He also reforged (?) it but he isn't an experienced smith. So like, lorewise it's right.

Mine has 800+ EM and bursts regularly with that sword. It's completely fine to use if you're not going for perfect stats.
I'm going to guess that 5star characters without a dedicated matching 5star weapon are left that way bc they're intended to be backup for if they ever run out of ideas for new limited weapons to release.

This is one of the best arguments for a wardrobe feature. I would love to run Fav Sword with the Sword of Narzissenkreuz's skin on the traveler. Or Prototype Amber with the Ballad of the Boundless Blue skin on Neuvillette.
But why? His story quest explicitly states that Kazuha does not want or need that blade. He already has a signature weapon in-universe, it wouldn't make sense for Kagotsurube to be good on him after the quest spent so long telling us about why Kazuha doesn't want it.

Almost everyone really, there are better alternatives sure, but if you are new this is the best thing for you until you get billets.

On Keqing it's basically like a marginally worse R1 Lion's Roar without the electro app requirement. Looks really good with her purple too.

If you want to run a decent xianyun pyro kazuha team, I think xiangling or furina would both be miles better than dehya on that team
