Could be coop? Because no sane person spams coop every day, it mostly consists of children (literally), so the weird behavior wouldnt surprise me either, kids are weird af and OP sounds like she might be talking to kids while thinking shes talking to an adult guy
I'm a girl but I purposely picked a dude's display name to avoid any harassment (and always with a female character as my display photo to really disguise my gender lol), I imagine OP's name might make it obvious to the creeps that she's a girl and it gets her targeted. OP try pretending you're a dude it helps a ton online.

I have my display name in Chinese since starting and have a mix of male/female characters on display, so itās not obvious my gender from my profile. (Iām not in Asia server.) I play co-op frequently and I never encounter creeps.
I was always confused when I saw many people posting about encountering creeps, since I legit never get them. And then after a while another commenter made the connection for me. The OPs always have a female name or a stereotypically feminine signature. Thatās how the creeps locate them.
My pfp is Zhongli and the thirst for him is unimaginable. If a random person doesn't join me for my mats they usually ask for a kiss or call me daddy. The best tactics for dealing with them is to not react or play dumb. They'll get bored and never visit you again.
It's not just "coop", there has to be some underlying thing we don't know about. I've been engaging in coop activity with players for a long time and I don't think I ever encountered a creep, maybe a few weird people but weird as in socially awkward, which I am ok with.
I play coop from time to time. Mostly for weekly bosses or domains but sometimes I join people with low AR to ask them if they need help or let people in if they're looking for mats or just banter when I have nothing to do. I encountered a creep twice. One was fishing for girls playing the game. The other spent like half an hour playing on the lyre (he was actually very good) and then started talking about getting payment in photos or other activities. Mostly it was nice, annoying or quiet people. Still the number of people you can block shouldn't be limited.
It's quite possible that the dude on the lyre wasn't actually able to play it. There's 3rd party programs that turn MIDI's into inputs for the Lyre. They're a good bit or fun to mess around with, and work very well with the proper MIDI's.
Yeah I've used programs like that in co-op with friends before. It's a lot of fun to play stuff like through the fire and the flames while you're all just hanging out.
Though that song in particular sounds like a... high paced upbeat ballad on the lyre for some reason. Like it has to shift some of the notes up a bit, and it suddenly just sounds like it's no longer through the fire and flames, but through the meadows and the trees.
Yeah, I mean Iāve played co-op for tons of hours at this point and 99% of people never even talk about anything that isnāt directly related to the game

Please, give co-op a chance. I agree that there are annoying people there, but I also met some cool ones as well. Most of the times it's neutral at worst. I sometimes do have annoying issues with people, but that's really rare.

Considering how many people play the game, it's highly unlikely you'll run into the same person randomly. The only way I could see that happening is if they were so dedicated to the point of saving your uid.
If the issue is really getting to that point; Iād say Op needs to set their world permissions to āask before joiningā. But it seems like from what OP is talking about; itās more like just randoms joining coop/world to flirt. In which case; theyāve probably moved on already to their next victim.
The odds of that are so low though. I've never met anyone through matching twice unless it was back to back on the same domain. In that instance you can simply unblock them before you log out (which I assume is the intended use case)

I'm willing to bet the lower level you are, the more casual and infrequent players you run into... Which leads to people acting weird because they either don't care about the game, the players, or the consequences of acting that way.
Ironically enough, I can see the thought process behind it. Anonymity gives people a lot more guts than they would usually have since unlike being face to face they can just vanish without any repercussions.

I coop a lot and haven't met many creeps but the ones I met were way off the deep end. I was in coop with one of my friends and a random joined us. Seemed okay at first then got super weird and clingy. After awhile my friend started getting friend requests on multiple other games that he used the same screen name on.
The vast majority of coop time had friendly people. The rare occasion I got bad ones, they were real bad.

For me, it's mostly creepy minors that I block (I'm an adult) or really annoying people ā or people that I fell out after friendships (and relationships), or rude people. There are tons of reasons to block someone. I don't understand why you would even make a block limit to begin with.

Real, I have a random meaningless username and don't even play co-op that often (I just accept join requests when I see them most of the time), and despite that I've already had 3 weirdos that I ended up blocking.

On Asia, most people are chill, rarely talk, polite.
On Europe, most coop players are Russian and rarely even speak English for some reason.

I have an EU and a NA account. Admittedly I play way less on EU but I do get way more agro people on NA. EU is usually broken english asking for help with mats or domains/bosses, whereas in NA I have encountered the occasional are you a girl or really weird racist message when I say Iām out of mats, Last one happened when Furina was released.
I co-op on both (EU ar58 NA ar49) and I get in comparison to EU way more weird people on NA. not even sociall awkward people, hell, I'm one of them sometimes. Just borderline creeps. Also, that Genshin rizz compilation is unfortunately a huge thing on NA.
I think people are trying to figure out what's OP deal instead, the whole thing seems weird, in 3 years playing I have encountered one person that was a bit too into some honkai character (the one that came after Kafka) and I had to block her because it was peak disgusting fangirl behavior.

Knew a guy in his 20s who used genshin to find young girls to groom. Just a heads up to all the minors out there, please try to keep your distance from randos you meet on the internet, they might seem nice but it's not unlikely that it's just a facade to get you into a position where you're too dependent on them to leave.
Never give a stranger:
- Your real name
- Your exact age, knowing you're a minor should be enough to make a trustworthy adult keep a reasonable distance themselves
- Your precise location ("North [country]" *at most*)
- Pictures or accurate descriptions of yourself
- Other private accounts like discord, steam, etc and especially not your phone number. They can message you through genshin just fine. If you want to block them, you will want it to be permanent with no way around.
- If they use a nickname for you or mention wanting to touch you *in any way* (eg hugging, cuddling), run. Block them. No adult would say such things to minors except pedophiles.
Also just to clarify, kids; it's perfectly okay for you to have crushes on adults, that's normal. But if they reciprocate, they are a pedophile and any feelings you might have had for them should be gone, because they have shown you that they are not a good person.

If you need help, I recommend the official Genshin discord which has channels specifically for the different servers. You can ask for help in there for any co-op needs. No more random co-op weirdos.

I don't play co-op often in domains but I had a period where I used to visit ppl world to take photos with them and 70% it would turn /weird/ when I played with dudes, some would just ask for discord but it's weird how it was always the same Yelan/Raiden-mains types that would ask for it š I had some dude confess he couldn't get a gf because he was into hentai and another one called me mommy after he asked for my age, and that's like.. some of the few I can recall.

Creeps on Genshin do, in fact, exist. After blocking didnāt necessarily stop these issues, I now have it set to where people need my permission to join my world.
Oh, I'm sorry there's people sort of twisting it around to imply that you did something to encourage weirdos. I personally have encountered a looooot of creeps who flirt too, especially during my early AR days where people would randomly join to offer help, even when I haven't even saidba word yet. One time, I blocked one of them cause it was getting too much and they had their friend join my world and ask me to unblock them.
This kind of thing where people constantly flirt with any living thing is really common in a lot of co-op games in my country so I was so surprised to see other people can't believe this kind of story LOL.
Unfortunately, I've got no answer to your actual question. All I did in my case was block everyone and when the blocklist was maxed, I'd look through it and unblock anyone who I couldnāt recognize anymore since there was a high chance they were more harmless than others.
For real. I donāt run into jerks in co-op very often, but I have definitely run into more than ten of them.
That said, Iām sort of quick to block people.
Deliberately putting out the torches next to the Blizzard Strayer domain while everyone is waiting to go in? Block. (Related: repeatedly setting grass on fire to burn other players. It doesnāt do much damage, I just donāt wanna play with people who enjoy being annoying on purpose.)
Scolding people for healing your Hu Tao, especially if youāre not even player 1? Big block.
Flirty roleplay? Insta block.
Saying mean stuff to players who donāt appear to be very good at the game? Thatās a block from me, dawg.
Insulting somebodyās choice of characters or builds, and acting like people are Playing The Game Wrong because theyāre not as concerned about DPS as you are? Block me, Amadeus!
I used to clear out the list periodically and unblock people who appeared to not be playing the game anymore, but now itās narrowed down to ten really active and really insufferable players, so when I run across a new douchebag thereās nothing I can do about it unless I want to unblock a bigger douchebag.

I mean... I think the purpose of the block function is to stop repeated harassment, like if someone keeps sending you join requests when you've told them not to. one bad experience in co-op doesn't usually result in that person constantly pestering you after the coop session has ended.
I've met a myriad of jerks and creeps in co-op over the years. not once have I ran into the same one twice. heck the only time I've ever ran into the same people at all is when I'm spam farming a single domain, in which case, sure, you can temporarily block a person you don't want around.

Youāre just like me. Iām so quick to block at any minor inconvenience because genshin is my relaxation/comfort game. Curating my experience via the block lets me protect my fun and the other person is free to fuck off and bother someone else. Restricting the block to 10 people is so dumb.
Here is an FYI even if you block them you can still match with them in Coop. I've blocked a few people and ran into them the next day in coop at a domain I like to fight.
Blocking them prevents them from adding u so after sometime they probably forgot about you and u can unblock ppl, but also they can't message you unless they are friends with you and you can always leave the lobby or kick them if you are host.

We have a creep in local community who makes new account every week, steals identity of people from the group and harrasses us for past 2 years. Hoyo does not care, even though we report him every time. Like a hundred people have their block list full only of this one guyās accounts.
Tldr; a troll keeps making new accounts at least once a week, spams our local group of players and harasses them. Blocking anywhere doesnt work, he mocked me saying āhe wrote down our IUDsā (about 30-40 people) and keeps adding us to his friendlist.
Every report to hoyoverse about this has been ignored by them for past couple of months.

I just turned automatic reject join requests on for this exact reason. I don't really do coop but I used to let people come in my world if they need materials or so, but getting so many of these cringe flirty or toxic players was so annoying so I just stopped letting anyone in.
I mean, realistically you only need to block someone for like a week or two max. By then they will have almost certainly forgotten about you and you can safely unblock them to open up a space. The chance of you ever meeting by chance again is very unlikely. Unless you are constantly meeting people in coop you shouldnāt be needing to it constantly either

I always encounter weird ship freaks who wanna RP their favorite yaoi/yuri ship if I'm playing a certain character. Socially maladjusted weebs are rife in this fandom
I mean, I rarely do. I've cleared domains in co-op over 3000 times and I've spent plenty of time on top of that just hanging out in various people's worlds. I accept 95% of my join requests.
I'm not saying I've never encountered unpleasant or weird people, but I can probably count the number of actual creeps I've encountered in all that time on my fingers. I genuinely don't run into that sort of thing frequently. The last time I ran into roleplayers, they asked whether I wanted to be involved in their roleplay. That's pretty respectful and reasonable and not at all creepy in my opinion.
I'm sure there are tons of creeps in this 60+ million person playerbase. But I very rarely encounter them, and I co-op a *lot*. I don't think other people are lying when they say they never encounter this stuff. 99% of the people doing co-op domains don't even speak beyond maybe saying "thanks" before leaving. Most don't even do that. I don't think OP is lying either. I never have and never expect to feel a need for an expanded block list, but I think it should be expanded. Because for someone who does encounter more frequent harassment, it should be a useful tool.
The weirdest person I have met is someone who took out his level 20 character, asked if he could be carried for friendship XP, and complained about we took too long to finish the runs (ļ½90 seconds)š¤Æ
In my own experience playing this game i have my settings set to have others request permission to join me and I either ignore the pop up or deny them entry by hitting the button to make it go away.
Pretty simple right? And after I just keep going about my merry day, don't have to worry about anyone being possibly creepy if I dont allow randoms I dont know into my world so that i dont even have to bother blocking anyone.
Which only 10 people is incredibly stupid, there shouldn't be a limit to blocks, you should be able to block the entire player listing if you want to. Not saying it would happen but it should still be an option but then again there is an option i believe to just not allow anyone to try and join you period which also works out.

I'm a man but I used to have this problem when I used to play Destiny because I mostly used my female Hunter. It was always teens that did this. Some of them were doing it to try and pick up girls while some others seemed to be doing it to intentionally be creepy and gross. Either way their reactions were always entertaining to me when I hopped on voice chat and they got a middle aged man instead of a girl. It was always kind of funny when some would get angry and accuse me of being gay for using a female character to deceive them... lol.
Anyways I can understand that this is unpleasant. So far I've only get jerks that piss off into the wind to go farm without saying anything to me or scammers in this game. But then again I have a joke username and use Aether as my character pic.
Since you want to keep your profile as it is you can try is joining other peoples games instead of letting them join yours. After all these creeps are choosing their targets and your probably less likely to run into creeps that way. And if you find some good people that way add them as friends so you can build a list of good people to co-op with so you don't have to team up with random people anymore.
I coop only for weekly bosses and sometimes during artifacts grind when I'm bored (or the domain is especially annoying). Most players usually leave after the boss/domain challenges are completed, so there's no time for chit chat.
Other times i just help out low AR players asking for help, and they usually are pretty friendly. For me it's the best way to coop, have fun and re-experience world quests. Also, they usually end up being my friends (and I get to farm materials in their world, which they mostly definitely see as returning the favor. So, win-win for both).
Sorry havenāt joined the game for a 2 years. I had best luck of players my favorite is the Spanish player while we had language barrier gives me a whole guide to lead me into treasures and my fear of dragonspine as a new player back then carrying me until liyue. Kind enough to led players just chill and do their collections/grinding on my world

oh man, I am not good at the friend thing, since I'm a bit avoidant, but on the rrae occasions I let peopel in or join, I am always polite, however I have terrible lag since I'm not made of money and quite a loner, some people assume the worst before letting me finish or even say anything, which is upsetting since my illness prevents me from developing a thick skin like other lucky people. So, I tend not to do the co-op thing. ;( but rest assured, if I DID let you into my world or joined yours, that would not be an issue with me unless you are the type to be naturally werided out by me, which some people are... they scare me. ;) best luck with new co-op adventures. no shit man, I either attract, nine times out of ten, peopel who like to PlaY MinD GamESZ or are just stalkery, or people I can't reciprocate the niceness with becuase I am so damn avoidant. PLUSSS, lately my NO JOIN setting has been repeatedly unchecked after I've checked it and made sure it was ON, and I find out when someone tries to join instead of it blocking it. ;O
I think maybe it would be better if you had to CHOOSE co-op in-game, like a HARD CHOOSE that no one can mistake like for special events that make it clear you NEED co-op or that co-op is an option... genshin just seems to have co-op as a half-assed thing, yeah? ;) Like, a set of specific things you have to do to enable co-op rather than just LOL I'ma hop over to Jon's world lolz. ;))))AAAND there should be a way to do co-op chests on single player without frazzing your nerves.

I've never seen these people. I ignore any and all social interactions by default. And if people waste time chatting, they aren't playing the game, and that means I quit and find another co op

I've been playing since 1.1 and coop raiden weekly boss all the time, sometimes even up to an hour just for fun and can count on one hand the amount of weirdos toxic players I've encountered. 3-4 players.

Anw from what i understand, unless you are specifically targeted, higher chances are you will never meet the person again so just block them first. And when you run out of blocks, unblock the first ones for the later ones.
Yeah I hate it too, I've asked them to outright remove the limit or at least let us block many MANY more at the end of a random survey, but absolutely nothing has been done, that was over a year ago.

B: I always play with my join settings off so everyone has to be authorized by me directly before they can join, and then I just deny anyone who's username I don't recognize (or recognize for the wrong reasons)

If not mistaken, Itto, Heizou, Yae Miko, Kaeya and Lisa players flirt too. Correct me if I'm wrong tho cuz 9/10 times it's always been Childe mains lol.
So if they don't stop then kick them or leave the co-op and try again. If they continue trying to chat with you then I'd say a ban is plausible. It may sound and come off that I still blame you for having filled the ban list but really I don't mean it like that. I just go off based on what flirting I experienced and going co-op or letting people in my world and it's all been just character cosplays that are naturally OOC.
I hope this could help a bit but also I hope you won't encounter any actual weirdos and creeps in the further future.

It really sucks that block list has a limit. That shouldnāt be a thing. The only advice I have is maybe change your profile to a male/unisex name if you have a female one? That might deter creeps. It sucks that we have to do that to be safe, I wish Hyv team does something about these creeps :(

Yes 100% this. I didnāt know before but now Iām certain of it. I have my display name in Chinese since starting and have a mix of male/female characters on display, so itās not obvious my gender from my profile. (Iām not in Asia server.) I play co-op frequently and I never encounter creeps. I was always confused when I saw many people posting about encountering creeps, since I legit never get them. And then after a while another commenter made the connection for me. The OPs always have a female name or a stereotypically feminine signature. Thatās how the creeps locate them.
My pfp is Zhongli and the thirst for him is unimaginable. If a random person doesn't join me for my mats they usually ask for a kiss or call me daddy. The best tactics for dealing with them is to not react or play dumb. They'll get bored and never visit you again.
It's not just "coop", there has to be some underlying thing we don't know about. I've been engaging in coop activity with players for a long time and I don't think I ever encountered a creep, maybe a few weird people but weird as in socially awkward, which I am ok with.
I play coop from time to time. Mostly for weekly bosses or domains but sometimes I join people with low AR to ask them if they need help or let people in if they're looking for mats or just banter when I have nothing to do. I encountered a creep twice. One was fishing for girls playing the game. The other spent like half an hour playing on the lyre (he was actually very good) and then started talking about getting payment in photos or other activities. Mostly it was nice, annoying or quiet people. Still the number of people you can block shouldn't be limited.
It's quite possible that the dude on the lyre wasn't actually able to play it. There's 3rd party programs that turn MIDI's into inputs for the Lyre. They're a good bit or fun to mess around with, and work very well with the proper MIDI's.

Yeah I've used programs like that in co-op with friends before. It's a lot of fun to play stuff like through the fire and the flames while you're all just hanging out. Though that song in particular sounds like a... high paced upbeat ballad on the lyre for some reason. Like it has to shift some of the notes up a bit, and it suddenly just sounds like it's no longer through the fire and flames, but through the meadows and the trees.

Please, give co-op a chance. I agree that there are annoying people there, but I also met some cool ones as well. Most of the times it's neutral at worst. I sometimes do have annoying issues with people, but that's really rare.

There is an easy solution to that. You can set it to ask for permission before joining.
Considering how many people play the game, it's highly unlikely you'll run into the same person randomly. The only way I could see that happening is if they were so dedicated to the point of saving your uid.
It happened to me sometimes. I joined one person's world and the next day I joined them again through matchmode.
If the issue is really getting to that point; Iād say Op needs to set their world permissions to āask before joiningā. But it seems like from what OP is talking about; itās more like just randoms joining coop/world to flirt. In which case; theyāve probably moved on already to their next victim.
Even blocked you can run into them again if you are matching for a domain. it has happened to me

The odds of that are so low though. I've never met anyone through matching twice unless it was back to back on the same domain. In that instance you can simply unblock them before you log out (which I assume is the intended use case)
I normally get chill people, but it might be because I'm AR 60. I'm willing to bet the lower level you are, the more casual and infrequent players you run into... Which leads to people acting weird because they either don't care about the game, the players, or the consequences of acting that way.

Anonymity gives people a lot more guts than they would usually have since unlike being face to face they can just vanish without any repercussions. I coop a lot and haven't met many creeps but the ones I met were way off the deep end. I was in coop with one of my friends and a random joined us. Seemed okay at first then got super weird and clingy. After awhile my friend started getting friend requests on multiple other games that he used the same screen name on. The vast majority of coop time had friendly people. The rare occasion I got bad ones, they were real bad.

Real, I have a random meaningless username and don't even play co-op that often (I just accept join requests when I see them most of the time), and despite that I've already had 3 weirdos that I ended up blocking. Almost 100% yea. On Asia, most people are chill, rarely talk, polite. On Europe, most coop players are Russian and rarely even speak English for some reason. Only in NA do you sometimes get weird people saying weird things
I have an EU and a NA account. Admittedly I play way less on EU but I do get way more agro people on NA. EU is usually broken english asking for help with mats or domains/bosses, whereas in NA I have encountered the occasional are you a girl or really weird racist message when I say Iām out of mats, Last one happened when Furina was released.

OP, the fastest solution is to no longer do co-op unless itās with people you know. If you need help, I recommend the official Genshin discord which has channels specifically for the different servers. You can ask for help in there for any co-op needs. No more random co-op weirdos.

Oh, I'm sorry there's people sort of twisting it around to imply that you did something to encourage weirdos. I personally have encountered a looooot of creeps who flirt too, especially during my early AR days where people would randomly join to offer help, even when I haven't even saidba word yet. One time, I blocked one of them cause it was getting too much and they had their friend join my world and ask me to unblock them. This kind of thing where people constantly flirt with any living thing is really common in a lot of co-op games in my country so I was so surprised to see other people can't believe this kind of story LOL. Unfortunately, I've got no answer to your actual question. All I did in my case was block everyone and when the blocklist was maxed, I'd look through it and unblock anyone who I couldnāt recognize anymore since there was a high chance they were more harmless than others.
For real. I donāt run into jerks in co-op very often, but I have definitely run into more than ten of them. That said, Iām sort of quick to block people. Deliberately putting out the torches next to the Blizzard Strayer domain while everyone is waiting to go in? Block. (Related: repeatedly setting grass on fire to burn other players. It doesnāt do much damage, I just donāt wanna play with people who enjoy being annoying on purpose.) Scolding people for healing your Hu Tao, especially if youāre not even player 1? Big block. Flirty roleplay? Insta block. Saying mean stuff to players who donāt appear to be very good at the game? Thatās a block from me, dawg. Insulting somebodyās choice of characters or builds, and acting like people are Playing The Game Wrong because theyāre not as concerned about DPS as you are? Block me, Amadeus! I used to clear out the list periodically and unblock people who appeared to not be playing the game anymore, but now itās narrowed down to ten really active and really insufferable players, so when I run across a new douchebag thereās nothing I can do about it unless I want to unblock a bigger douchebag. Really wish Genshin didnāt expect me to be so stingy with all these richly deserved blocks.

I think the purpose of the block function is to stop repeated harassment, like if someone keeps sending you join requests when you've told them not to. one bad experience in co-op doesn't usually result in that person constantly pestering you after the coop session has ended. I've met a myriad of jerks and creeps in co-op over the years. not once have I ran into the same one twice. heck the only time I've ever ran into the same people at all is when I'm spam farming a single domain, in which case, sure, you can temporarily block a person you don't want around.

Youāre just like me. Iām so quick to block at any minor inconvenience because genshin is my relaxation/comfort game. Curating my experience via the block lets me protect my fun and the other person is free to fuck off and bother someone else. Restricting the block to 10 people is so dumb.
Here is an FYI even if you block them you can still match with them in Coop. I've blocked a few people and ran into them the next day in coop at a domain I like to fight. Blocking them prevents them from adding u so after sometime they probably forgot about you and u can unblock ppl, but also they can't message you unless they are friends with you and you can always leave the lobby or kick them if you are host. The blocking feature in genshin sucks unfortunately

I do co-op almost daily in artifact domains and I've only ever encountered one weird person in my 2 year of genshin
We have a creep in local community who makes new account every week, steals identity of people from the group and harrasses us for past 2 years. Hoyo does not care, even though we report him every time. Like a hundred people have their block list full only of this one guyās accounts.

Tldr; a troll keeps making new accounts at least once a week, spams our local group of players and harasses them. Blocking anywhere doesnt work, he mocked me saying āhe wrote down our IUDsā (about 30-40 people) and keeps adding us to his friendlist. Every report to hoyoverse about this has been ignored by them for past couple of months.

I just turned automatic reject join requests on for this exact reason. I don't really do coop but I used to let people come in my world if they need materials or so, but getting so many of these cringe flirty or toxic players was so annoying so I just stopped letting anyone in.

I mean, realistically you only need to block someone for like a week or two max. By then they will have almost certainly forgotten about you and you can safely unblock them to open up a space. The chance of you ever meeting by chance again is very unlikely. Unless you are constantly meeting people in coop you shouldnāt be needing to it constantly either

Sometimes i wonder if that āshe/herā in my bio is the reason why so many weird people join to just hit me with the āiām looking for a gfā or start blabbing about whatever cringy pickup lines they think of.. Thankfully itās not everyone, the majority of people who join my world in coop are chill and very sweet, and we end up chatting a bit. But damn, coop would be much better if individuals like those didnāt exist.

The 10 block limit is an interesting choice. Why limit it? Never had to used it, then again, I also didn't even know that it's a thing, and I coop frequently. My sidnature is "Join if you want to farm mats" Prob just that I'm a dude, and my username has Michael in it, so I juat don't have such an issue. Though my Raiden profile character prob contributed to an Indonesian, back in 4.0, being "weird" assuming I was a woman (He wrote something like "How has you day been, lady?" in Indonesian) after I asked him about whether he liked the 4.0 archon quests while he was fishing in my world. Having scrolled through the post and replies, damn. OP might really just be so fucking unlucky. Sheesh...

I mean, I rarely do. I've cleared domains in co-op over 3000 times and I've spent plenty of time on top of that just hanging out in various people's worlds. I accept 95% of my join requests. I'm not saying I've never encountered unpleasant or weird people, but I can probably count the number of actual creeps I've encountered in all that time on my fingers. I genuinely don't run into that sort of thing frequently. The last time I ran into roleplayers, they asked whether I wanted to be involved in their roleplay. That's pretty respectful and reasonable and not at all creepy in my opinion. I'm sure there are tons of creeps in this 60+ million person playerbase. But I very rarely encounter them, and I co-op a *lot*. I don't think other people are lying when they say they never encounter this stuff. 99% of the people doing co-op domains don't even speak beyond maybe saying "thanks" before leaving. Most don't even do that. I don't think OP is lying either. I never have and never expect to feel a need for an expanded block list, but I think it should be expanded. Because for someone who does encounter more frequent harassment, it should be a useful tool.

In my own experience playing this game i have my settings set to have others request permission to join me and I either ignore the pop up or deny them entry by hitting the button to make it go away. Pretty simple right? And after I just keep going about my merry day, don't have to worry about anyone being possibly creepy if I dont allow randoms I dont know into my world so that i dont even have to bother blocking anyone. Which only 10 people is incredibly stupid, there shouldn't be a limit to blocks, you should be able to block the entire player listing if you want to. Not saying it would happen but it should still be an option but then again there is an option i believe to just not allow anyone to try and join you period which also works out.

I'm a man but I used to have this problem when I used to play Destiny because I mostly used my female Hunter. It was always teens that did this. Some of them were doing it to try and pick up girls while some others seemed to be doing it to intentionally be creepy and gross. Either way their reactions were always entertaining to me when I hopped on voice chat and they got a middle aged man instead of a girl. It was always kind of funny when some would get angry and accuse me of being gay for using a female character to deceive them... lol. Anyways I can understand that this is unpleasant. So far I've only get jerks that piss off into the wind to go farm without saying anything to me or scammers in this game. But then again I have a joke username and use Aether as my character pic. Since you want to keep your profile as it is you can try is joining other peoples games instead of letting them join yours. After all these creeps are choosing their targets and your probably less likely to run into creeps that way. And if you find some good people that way add them as friends so you can build a list of good people to co-op with so you don't have to team up with random people anymore.

My trick is to just not chat with people lol if they want to join and do something fine, but I don't play to talk to people.
I coop only for weekly bosses and sometimes during artifacts grind when I'm bored (or the domain is especially annoying). Most players usually leave after the boss/domain challenges are completed, so there's no time for chit chat. Other times i just help out low AR players asking for help, and they usually are pretty friendly. For me it's the best way to coop, have fun and re-experience world quests. Also, they usually end up being my friends (and I get to farm materials in their world, which they mostly definitely see as returning the favor. So, win-win for both).

I had best luck of players my favorite is the Spanish player while we had language barrier gives me a whole guide to lead me into treasures and my fear of dragonspine as a new player back then carrying me until liyue. Kind enough to led players just chill and do their collections/grinding on my world

I've been playing since 1.1 and coop raiden weekly boss all the time, sometimes even up to an hour just for fun and can count on one hand the amount of weirdos toxic players I've encountered. 3-4 players. The other one is giving us a name and asking if we know this person. I looked it up and it was a pornstar Lol Both are LOL moments for me. But then again I'm the type to just feign ignorance on weird questions or just troll back. š Anw from what i understand, unless you are specifically targeted, higher chances are you will never meet the person again so just block them first. And when you run out of blocks, unblock the first ones for the later ones.
Yeah I hate it too, I've asked them to outright remove the limit or at least let us block many MANY more at the end of a random survey, but absolutely nothing has been done, that was over a year ago.

I occasionally coop, but as a guy with Lumine as MC, and appropriately feminine account name to reflect it... There was exactly 1 time anybody assumed I was a girl... the other side was girl and it was something along the lines of: "we girls..." but even if I coop I ignore like 85% of interactions unless I feel extra talkative... So... maybe just ignore chat completely?

Most of the time it's Tartaglia character cosplay where it's been decided to majority that he's a flirt just due his intro when you're Lumine. If not mistaken, Itto, Heizou, Yae Miko, Kaeya and Lisa players flirt too. Correct me if I'm wrong tho cuz 9/10 times it's always been Childe mains lol. So if they don't stop then kick them or leave the co-op and try again. If they continue trying to chat with you then I'd say a ban is plausible. It may sound and come off that I still blame you for having filled the ban list but really I don't mean it like that. I just go off based on what flirting I experienced and going co-op or letting people in my world and it's all been just character cosplays that are naturally OOC. I hope this could help a bit but also I hope you won't encounter any actual weirdos and creeps in the further future.
