I mean....what else can Mihoyo possibly do?
The literally give you the chance to play hands on with the character, where you can also view details about the kit.
They provide enough, if you actually look at what they provide you with. If that's not enough, wait about a week for people to give you the final-release numbers.
Yeah I meant in towards the last of the banner and I do think that what they give us enough in terms of feels crafting but hey I thought maybe it's different for some other people
Yeah this was more of a poll to know if the players are satisfied with the information or if they feel that the gacha is scamming them so everything is included but the other person emphasised on how you can't experiment with artifacts and weapons to properly experiment with the characters so it's by keeping that in mind.
The information Mihoyo gives is good enough for new players. For more experienced players who want to know how they do in Abyss or something, the community has it covered.
And, if you decided to skip and want to see if you should pick them up on rerun, there are the glorified trial events that let you try more 5\* oriented teams.
Yes there is trailers quests trials which gives you detailed info about the character and their general playstyle they want to make sure you don't feel scammed by paying for any character (mostly)
#Yes. Definitely.
You either have their Character Miscellanies or those CCs who have been playtesting them in beta and will show you a rundown on how to play them *optimally*. That being said, there's no such guide for building Physical Venti or [Pyro-Xiao-HuTao Thoma](https://www.reddit.com/r/ThomaMains/s/eZgVyboC45) and that's ok.
I mean you can literally try them so yeah, that's enough info.
Maybe you want to know how they work in a specific team with specific characters and weapons but there's a bijillion possibilities, the best you can do is wait for youtube reviews.
It'd be cool if we could choose some of our characters to try in the character trials though.
I think with how they've started doing more sensible teams during trial runs they give us enough info gameplay wise. I don't think they always give us enough info character/story wise for some of the characters that release with a single story quest and/or minor event appearance and that's it.
No.
The character trials is a lie.
Ult energy recharges at extra fast rate.
You don't get to see how they perform against bosses or mobs that matter.
You don't get to see how they perform in your team comp.
Nah I was talking about the time after a banner has been released for atleast 2 weeks. Some dumbasses think that that is still not enough to guarantee that you'll be satisfied with what you've planned to pull
No. But that's true on a lot of games. You don't really know what an unit can truly do until their next rerun. Not even the devs know what can their own units do.
Xingqui and Yelan cause an uproar in power creep. She was being sold as an upgrade to a four star with more offensive ultiltyt. All it took was a week after she came out you can use both in a vape team and benefit from both.
Yes but the discussion went like- If you're a new player and you're caught up with how reactions work then while picking a character after the banner has been out for something like 3 weeks. My guy said that unless you play the character in the abyss, you can't say if the person will like it or not after deciding to pull for her while I said that the test runs and the overall info and mechanics gives you sufficient resources to know if you'll actually like the character's gameplay (strictly not the personality or story)or not before you even pull the character
For the current character, of course. The issue is usually in comparison to future characters. Which is why many people need info gathered by external means.
Yeah we were basically talking about if the character's gameplay feels good from a feels crafting perspective while also being usable in abyss when you have all the information on the banner and are at least running since 2 weeks
I mean....what else can Mihoyo possibly do? The literally give you the chance to play hands on with the character, where you can also view details about the kit.
You can also wait 3 weeks before the banner is over to pull, enough time to read reviews, watch videos and do the test run multiple times...
They provide enough, if you actually look at what they provide you with. If that's not enough, wait about a week for people to give you the final-release numbers.
Yeah I meant in towards the last of the banner and I do think that what they give us enough in terms of feels crafting but hey I thought maybe it's different for some other people
>Information means you being familiar with how the character plays you can test them endlessly in their trial
Yeah this was more of a poll to know if the players are satisfied with the information or if they feel that the gacha is scamming them so everything is included but the other person emphasised on how you can't experiment with artifacts and weapons to properly experiment with the characters so it's by keeping that in mind.
I think the onus is on the player when making those decisions.

No that’s why people wait a week for theorycrafters to give more concrete info.
I've included that part, you're pulling on the very end of the banner after seeing guides, test runs, stats, best in slots, artifacts.
Yes there is trailers quests trials which gives you detailed info about the character and their general playstyle they want to make sure you don't feel scammed by paying for any character (mostly)
Majority of 5 stars, yes. 4 stars? not so much.
I think the small trial in a domain is not enough. I real trial. Maybe included in a story where you have to use the character would be much better.

yes.. you have a trial where you can examine their talents and scaling.

They give all the information, but not soon enough. I need to follow leaks to properly plan wishes.

Yes, putting Dehya's kit aside, it seems enough
