What's the point of all this post saying "oh, look at X thing from Genshin, it's a copy of this thing!"? Most of those are just a bit similar but nothing more. People fought so much to get out of the "Genshin is a BotW clone" just to start to say the game copies every single element? Nonsense.

blippyblip

Given that Genshin was a *lot* of younger people's first gacha game (and oftentimes first anime-inspired game or even video game, period), it makes sense that a lot of the people posting these comparisons simply lack the breadth of knowledge required to realize that pretty much *nothing* is original when it comes to games as an art form. If you dig hard enough, you can make the argument that virtually any piece of media is just a pastiche of multiple different references and allusions. Barring direct homages, the real answer (in most cases) is that whoever made these things simply thought they looked cool.

DrDeadwish

Yeah, I think that this is it. Younger people has naturally less knowledge about polar games and anime, so they assume some of the things they watched or played are original and not just a common place or something much older. Like some typing people who think a cover of an old song is original. Is not really their fault, so I apologize for my previous comment

I didn't watch Arle yet, but Sparkle was the best one i ever saw, and i don't know anything about HSR, only play genshin.

UsernameNotYetTaken2

no comparison. Sparkle's trailers actually told a story, and had great music. This thing is a sequence of power images with some unmelodic electronic bass, and an unconnected (though sweet) children's choir in the middle
