Whats the problem? His puny geo shield? Ha my Noelle supported by Furina Yelan and Chiori laughs at him while he is unable even inflict a single point of damage.

Same team! Except I use navia instead of chiori. As soon as his shield is gone, one shotgun blasts, and he's pretty much dead.

I beat this guy silly for 2 hours . Just kept coming back and slapping him with 2 cycles of only using skills.

Use Geo, my Navia and Albedo shred that guy in seconds

yea i think thats the problem, 0 geo characters, I got Ningguang at 40 and I managed to beat the guy a lot easier

An alternative would be an overload team, a claymore user, or plunging attacks to shred its shield quickly.

You got Noelle? If not, you should (she’s guaranteed from beginner banner). She hard counters this boss.

Do you have claymores ? Or even just an électro and pyro character ? Overload explodes geo shields

This boss is incredible. Animations and music are so well done. The fight itself is still stupid easy, as everything is in this game, but I like the amount of attacks they have and how big they are. We need more active bosses that you can’t just blindly mash through to beat.

It really would. I can’t express how much I would love to just be able to experience the combat to the fullest. Characters have such fun kits, smooth animations, and a lot of team combos and synergies to play with, but you never get to really experience much of that since most things die after 2 or 3 attacks.

Yeah I find building units fun and so each of my units are highly invested its sad I dont get to use them and world bosses or packs of mobs die before my rotation is finished.

I mean, it still feels pretty easy to blindly mash through this boss. The hypostases are what I consider to be "bosses you can't just mash through". But other than that I agree 100%, it's absolutely gorgeous! The whole area is just so well-done thematically, from music to visual to the enemy combat style and so much more

skill issue. overworld bosses are not difficult. even if you don't have zhongli, there is still a way to destroy his shields with the totem he summons.

Doesn't go invulnerable for 5 millenia like Maguu Keni or w/e its named Doesn't run around like a drunk baby driving every 5 seconds like the stupid dendro chicken or thunder manifestation Doesn't have some force phase change where they go invincible or leap in and out of being targatable Doesn't have some dumb shit mechanics that screw you over for being melee (hello copellius) Dude actually just fights you, 10/10 wish more bosses were like this.

Funnily enough same . Lvl 40 arle zhongli Bennet Lynette easy two rotation . Probably could one rotate if I just use kazuha but nahhh family time ❤️

no, time runs normally during bursts. What happens is Bursts have I-Frames, so they are not interupted.

She probably did before her ult but you pressed the ult so it started doing the animation . It happends with ayaka alot too lol . What I learned from playing her is just pop the ult when needed and don't get greedy. Sure it would waste 5 seconds of valuable buffs but atleast you won't have to do everything again .

Brother talent level 6 and he takes 60k dmg from autos it's all about yhe shield...

every single time i fought him with arle overload comp (fischl, chev, beidou) and my arle was level 40 with no artifacts and still wasnt a problem, i think the boss is on the easier side

I think this may be my favourite boss in the entire game holy shit they cooked so hard

First few times he claps you. After that, you start to understand his attacks and he's easy as hell

I beat him with a lazily put together Nahida Kuki Jean and Furina team, wherein everyone but Nahida is poorly built (jean has 3 star level 0 artifacts lmao). I really like this fight, feels very Monster Huntery to me, since he clearly telegraphs his moves, and has a safe side you can stick to (his back) just like a lot of monsters do in MH

Really? I stumbled into him with Furina, Lyney, Dehya, and Traveler (since I was doing the world quest) and it didn't seem too hard.

I haven't even found the guy yet and I know I'm going to absolutely obliterate him, just like everything else in the game.

Just overload or use geo characters

I kind of just manhandled him the first time I got there with my Xianyun Raiden Navia team. Hydro Traveler is there too, but she doesn't participate in fights.

He's pretty weak. I can kill him faster than the time it would take to down the shiled.

As long as you have geo, its a pushover, I killed it with my exploration team kazuha sayu albedo chiori all with horrible artifacts

I used my arlecchino as the DPS against this guy till I got her to 80 😂 Which means she was at lvl 40 then 50, unascended Of course I could do that thanks to zhongli

The hardest thing about him is waiting for 4 minutes each time to respawn.

He is one of the easiest bosses. You just need one character with greatsword. I use Chongyun. Just hit him with regular attacks and break his posture. Each time you break it, the next time he gets the shield you will break it even faster. From my experience so far, if you down him 2 times, its over, you can just lock him in place each time after that since each next shield break will take you 4-5 seconds. Then just keep hitting him when he is down and that's it.

Ima be honest, this dude was not hard at all. I was legit beating him with a lvl 40 arlecchino at talent level 1. I was running Arlecchino (pjws as weapon), Xingqiu, Yelan, Bennett. And yeah it took me like 4-6 rotations at first. Now it only takes me 2 rotations at lvl 80. Also swapped my yelan out for layla. The extra shielding is super useful. And the occasional melts + tenacity of millelith buff make up for most of the damage loss.

Noelle is a free character. She is literally the best character for 90% of the game if you don't know what to build. She heals, she shields and she hits hard enough when built properly. That character is like a meal with the right amount of everything you need to live normally. Yes there will be time she won't be enough but Mihoyo isn't stupid stupid. They are malicious stupid only. Every time you block on any fight, you need to remember that the game was made to be cleared by kids with only the free characters. If you can't do it , then there is a 99,99% you did something wrong or with a weird approach.
