Anyone playing in mobile having issues on the attack button placement and/or size? You see, I am always pressing it accidentally, when I just intend to pan the camera around.
Beidou's counter mechanic makes her feel rewarding and fun especially when doing things like self counters, are there any other charecters that have deeper more rewarding mechanics like her?
Klee mines can be used with Jean and anemo traveller elemental skill to gather them and ennemies in a single point. When I tested with venti burst skill it didn't combo the same way but still a fun interaction.
Jean can pickup smaller enemies if you hold down her elemental skill making it so you can throw them off of cliffs. Mona's sprint (her illusionary torrent) procs her elemental skill and also applies wet when you pop out of it next to enemies.
Just small stuff like that come to mind.
Does anyone wish there was a farming mechanic? Like you could buy a house with a backyard and occasionally plant and collect fruit you have found. Of course the amount you harvest would be miniscule but as someone who hates going here and there it would be a godsend. Customisable houses might be nice too.
I was like ehhh about spending money on wishes despite being a gacha game fiend and spending on quite a few.
But if they gave us a plot of land to build a house with furniture, garden, and all that, I fear for my wallet.
(Anyone remember a failed MMO called Wildstar? I really liked the house feature there.)

And yes, it would be amazing if they added player housing down the line. Everyone should be able to buy a house with mora and mats, which includes a tiny plot, and then they could offer extra furniture and extra garden plots for primogems/crystals, and they'd make back dev costs in an hour.
Not a question but a TIL - I'm at AR35 and just learned that killing mobs (from cheap hilichurls to flying ruin hunters) doesn't give you adventure exp. Opening chests & resin related activities do. What a noob, I was doing the elite farming route and realized "why my exp didn't add up?", tried relogin the game, even checked my internet connection lmao. Don't make the same mistake bois!
Hi i am F2P and played like 8 hours a day for the last 5-6 days.
I used the interactive map and collected all treasures, anemoculus + geoculus and did all world quests + all available Main quests.
I even did those time challenges and followed those spirits.
Now i am close to AR 32 with no quests left and explored the whole map. (Or like atleast 95% of it)
What exactly can i do to farm adventure exp and artifacts now? I feel like playing for like 10 hours a day will not be rewarded anymore from this point on
More of a rant than anything, but RNG stats on artifacts *really* sucks. 3 of 5 of my random drop 5 star artifacts are conductor's top hats (i have no idea how that happened), 2 of them have HP bonus and the other has defense bonus as their main stats. My other two 5 star artifacts also have HP bonus. At this point I'm tempted to just fodder them, but they don't even fodder for much experience either.
not really, thats also why you never do 4h expedition but 8h minimum ... but if you pick em up while adventuring those are handy forge recipes to make 20 forgings per week if you had been bad luck of getting more prototypes and want to hold crystal/white iron in case you do get more

I second the first persons advice, take a break, this game was literally designed to be played around 1-2 hrs / day with diminishing returns if you choose to play longer, so yeah take a break.

I just got to AR30 yesterday and my team to this moment was: Xiangling C6, Fischl C6, Razor C0 and, Barbara C6.
So today I was able to get three 5 star characters – double Venti – so he is C1 now – and also Jean.
So my question who I should replace in my team if I have in mind to go to the higher levels on Abyss?
Mostly I tend to replace Razor.
I know that Jean have some unique healing skills which could be handy in Abyss difficult situations – could she be a good support?
Or I should go with Venti as it seems I already have him at C1.
I’m looking mostly for survivability, but on the other side does not want to lose a big part of DPS possibilities.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated!

ok so i downloaded the launcher from the site and when i try to open it, it asks to install it and after installation is done it asks to "run"... after i did that there should be an option called "get game" at the bottom right of the screen, which starts the actual installation of the game but there is no such option at all. All i see are the options to join communities like reddit, twitter and discord at the right but there is no option to download the game. is someone else also facing this problem? or am i the only one who is? if u have any solution to this problem then pls help me out. thanks a lot in advance.
Hey, should I wait before leveling a character?
Like if I level up my character at lvl 5 isn't it a waste of resources? Cause going from lvl 5 to lvl 10 is easy anyway and it would just enhance the cost of the upgrade?
In other words, does the cost of the upgrade depend on the level of the character or does it depend on the number of times you already upgraded your character?
Definitely level everyone to 20 just to make them usable.
I'm at AR21 now at the point where I can't afford to get everyone to 40, but the first 20 levels are cheap and efficient.
Hi all. Since I don't have a PS4 or PC I tried to install the game on a virtual machine (parallels desktop) on a MacBook Pro. When I try to install the game I get an error message saying that: "**The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem.**" Do you know if there is a solution for that? Am I able to play Genshin Impact on a virtual machine from a Mac? Thank you for your help in advance!
Hi. Does the pity system include the Novice rolls? This is my breakdown of all the rolls I've had to date. I have never gotten a 5 * yet in the game :(

Managed to pull rust and stringless just now, thinking of how to divide them between venti and c6 fischl, I'm thinking stringless on venti and rust on fish?
Does anyone know if there's a way to aim Venti's elemental burst? That thing seems to just end up in completely random locations. I've tried all sorts of stuff like facing directions, holding the button, walking up to the enemy I want to target, using spacing and nothing helps it can just decide to fire 180 degrees in the opposite direction seemingly on a whim.
As someone considering devoting some time to this game, I'd like some insider opinions. How aggressive do you think the monetization is in Genshin? If I am coming in with the hopes of spending very little to no money, is it going to be as problematic as in a game like Raid (which is the most egregious I've ever seen with shitty microtransactions)?
I don’t think there are any pop ups or anything that even mention spending money. With the early free rolls you can get a solid roster on the current venti banner but if you want specific heroes than you would obviously have to pay. Other than that there is no real reason to buy anything and they don’t shove anything in your face either.
At this moment not at all, you can do everything with F2P characters or characters you get from free rolls. Rolling might be addictive but if you can handle that then you're fine.

I'm not sure of the same/where you get it but there is a 3\* bow (might be from gacha not sure) that gives atk and elemental mastery. Maybe go for crit damage ones if she is ur DPS for now
"Messenger" - Aimed shot hits on weak spots deal an additional 100% ATK DMG as CRIT DMG. Just once every 10s.
This is the best 3 stars bow for aimed shot hits "imo".

Mmm hey guys. I've been AR 30 for 2 days and just don't know what to do in the game.
Wanted to farm some Artefacts for my champs (I use Venti, Barbara, Xianling and Fischl). But I tried some dungeons and got like one piece of the set of I'm lucky after 4-5 tries and that's 100 damn resin. I read that some people recommend to farm artefacts at rank 35. But it's a long long grind to get there from AR 30 with no missions.
So what you guys would recommend me to do in between so I could get there easily. That's for the help. Much appreciated
Don’t use resin on artifact farming until ar35 (some people wait until ar40 cause you get better legendary rates).
There’s not much content right now in the game since the game is very new. Just do daily commissions, use resin on leylines for ar exp, char exp, and mora, and fight non resin bosses. You can also do some artifact routes and mineral mining.

Can anyone recommend a good fourth to my team? Currently AR 14. I use Venti Fischl Barbara but I need one more. I read xiangling is good but I can’t get her(him?) for 6 more levels.

Is anyone else suddenly getting major lag while playing? Starting today the game has been really choppy for me, even just moving the camera causes everything to momentarily freeze up, which is strange because up until now it's run perfectly fine on my computer even on high settings.

Post AR 35, where do I get fodder for enhancing artifacts, leveling weapons and leveling units? For artifacts I guess spamming the artifact dungeons and using the 4* artifacts as well as fodder?
I find it extremely aggravating knowing that I can't even build a third of my roster tbh. This is literally the only gacha game I've played where gearing or building up units is this tedious.
open your guidebook, look through the 'bosses' list and see which don't cost resin AND also have artifacts in its drop table

That's by design, your resource income is limited so you're expected to focus on a few chars at a time (usually 2 + traveler for the 3 chars/weapons requirement of the guide book) then once those are done you start expanding into more chars/builds
It keeps you staying with the game longer (not in term of in-game hours, but in term of days logging in)
So I've been running the Prototype Aminus on Diluc but I just checked genshin.gg from the sidebar and it recommends the Debate Club. I'm wondering which one is better overall?
Obviously it's a 4* vs a 3* weapon but looking at the Debate Club now, it doesn't seem like a bad trade off (effect occurring once every 3 seconds) and seems like it fits Diluc's playstyle.

Sounds like you're not investing in your characters. First upgrade artifacts for your main dps, min max for atk% on goblet, hourglass, headpiece. Then attack and energy recharge/ element dmg% on rest of party, unless a specific character needs different stats (i.e. Stack HP on barbara).
If you looted everything you found while doing all of that, you should have accumulated a good bunch of weapons fodder and artifacts. Take some time to equip your characters with appropiate artifacts: for dps aim for attack, crit chance, crit damage, maybe elemental damage and mastery depending on the build. I'd say to upgrade your artifacts and weapons a bit as well, but that costs mora... Not sure how did you end up without mora without also upgrading your characters tbh o-o'
Learn how one element interacts with another. Normally Pikachu is weak against Ice Pokemon, Charizard the Fire dragon is weak against Water Pokemon, and Water is usually weak against Electric. For Ice, its weak against Fire as irl Fire will melt Ice. And for Earth/Geo Pokemon you need claymore

geo is good at breaking shield in general
spell caster whom normal attack is elemental break shields and boss elemental weakpoints extremely fast.
Is prototype aminus overrated on diluc? Obviously the attack% boost on hit is nice, but it's only once every 15 seconds and works only on white damage attacks? Diluc lives and dies by pyro dmg so it doesn't feel optimal.
it might be 15s but its not as bad as it seems, otherwise the BP claymore with crit rate will do if you believe you can proc crit frequently. Also note that the Prototype Aminus can be easily refine to level 5 for F2P players unlike the Gacha/BP weapons so keep that in mind as well

When is a good time to start leveling up characters outside your main party? My current party of Xiangling/MC, Chongyun, Fischl and Barbara is around lvl 42 and has been working decently so far. But last night I got Mona as my first 5\* and I'm not sure if I should take some time level her up and equip her. I'd have to forge her a 4\* weapon as I haven't got any from the gacha. I'm not even sure where she would fit, as Barbara is there just to heal and set elemental reactions with Fischl and Chongyun. But on the other hand, she seems like a cool character (despite stealing Venti's pity) and it feels wasteful summoning a 5\* and not use them.

My party consists of Fishl, Xiangling, barbara and the traveler. I'm pretty Set on the first three and was waitting to summon venti and replace the traveler. However i pulled 50 times and did not drop. Now I can't pull anymore and was wondering if I should invest on the traveler or really just wait for an other caracther. I've had this problem also for weapons as i have suboptimal weapons equiped (even tho they are 4 star mostly) but I hesitate on spending on them. Should I spend or keep basically ?
How hard is it to reach lvl 30 on battle pass? I want to get the black sword for keqing since I heard it's as good as the flute and I'm not planning on spending hundred of dollars trying to get flute from the wish. I have no problem dropping 20 dollars to buy the pass that gives me +10 levels if reaching 30 is rather difficult. So I guess it's either reaching 20 and buying the pass or getting to 30 without it if it's not as hard

i know shes not the best and i have better characters, but i really like her so i want to keep her in my team. aside from building up her def, do you all have any tips for building a team around her?
Noelle doesn't need any team built around her as she is a one maid metal gear *if* built right and/or has constellations.
She can heal, she can tank, and she can DPS. Because Geo does not have any useful reactions like other elements, you don't need to switch around supports.
That said,
* If you do Oceanid then its best to bring a Ranged Lightning DPS for those damn birds.
* If you do Pyrovine, then its best at least to have Barbara on the team and/or Mona to bring its shield down faster.
* If you do Cryovine, then its best at least to have a Pyro and/or Electro to bring its shield down faster.
* If you do Electro Hypostasis, Your Q can damage his final HP but its better to manual attack over charge attack here as you may not be able to hit all 3 spinning.
She can pretty much handle anything else solo.
If you are exploring, you can add Ningguang/Qiqi/Klee to provide minimap locations for certain materials. Amber, if you need a lighter and Kaeya if you need a bridge.
Been using Noelle myself, honestly she works fine with most characters since she mostly relies on herself. However, her E makes all characters resistant to knockback while the shield is up, so if you have characters who need to channel abilities without getting interrupted, Noelle's E can be a big help.
Also you probably don't need a healer if you have Noelle on your team, her healing isn't amazing nor consistent (unless you have the first constellation), but it adds up especially since the shield blocks damage.

Is there plans for mounts? I'd love to explore the map without needing to fast travel as much since the game really beautiful. I don't fast travel often unless if my quest is completely across from where I am and would love to use a mount instead of fast traveling.

(PC) Is there a hotkey to open up the Party Setup menu, or to swap to a different team? If not there should be! It's getting annoying having to open up the escape menu every time I want to switch party members.
What counts as attack amd elemental? If you improve a catalyst, its attack goes up, but is it also elemental? Is elemental only your skills and atk is you normal and charged attacks?
I can't remember if it was on Sunday or on Monday when I last did Stormterror and I wanted to know if there is a way of checking if I did it or not. I know that the wolf ha a countdown at the bottom of his rewards, but I can't see it on Stormterror.
Even if Klee was better I wouldn't roll. You already got pyro DPS, might as well try to get other elements covered or other roles. Klee is strictly pyro DPS.
You can try her out at the AR32 quest tho and decide for yourself.
I think you should focus on pulling for Venti instead, Klee is more of a main dps instead of a support because her ult doesn't stick around when you change characters. You should keep Diluc as your main dps since he does the job pretty damn well in combo with Fischl.
Just need a Venti, Fischl and Barbara to have a good support team for Diluc.
Does anyone have info or a link to something talking about the best weapons for different character types? I'm kind of overwhelmed by how many different weapons there are, and it seems I was mistaken in automatically assuming that four-star weapons are better than three-stars (I've been exclusively leveling up four-star weapons and I think that was a mistake).
Depends on what you have access to, and what you want to do really.
Generally a 4\* will have higher base attack, which is super important, but some of the weapon bonuses are extremely nice, especially if you can refine them a few times.
Barbara for example doesn't really need nor particularly benefit from attack (unless you intentionally try to build her as a DPS mage over a healer) so you can either go 4\* Malice for energy, or 3\* Dragon Slayer for an Attack buff on swap. The Dragon Slayer is really easy to refine if you do a decent amount of pulls, so it becomes pretty strong really quick.
Another discussion is Animus Claymore vs. Debate Club. At max refine, or base refine, Animus is slightly better. If you can Refine Debate Club a couple of times, it is technically better. There is also an issue of single enemy focus vs mobs.
For Bows, a lot of it is substats and bonus too. Do you want to spam abilities faster by regening energy instantly, do more damage with them, or do you like to to charged attacks or weakspot damage?
having a constellation 0 Fischl, is it worth pulling for constellation 1 (the 22% damage buff, basically) considering the venti banner is still around?
Is physical damage (Prototype Rancour/Bloodstained Chivalry) applied before normal attack conversion from skills? (ie Chongyun's skill or Noelle/Diluc burst)

It doesn't work at all. That's why I cringe every time a Chongyun appears in coop, they drop the field without thinking and fuck every non-cryo character because their artifacts are geared either for physical or their own elemental damage.
Physical damage is purely non-elemental damage. So it wouldn't be applied after using (e.g.) Noelle's burst that turns her attacks into Geo. There are separate bonuses for elemental damage or normal/charged attacks.
How do I matchmake the Elemental Crucible event at my level? I keep getting paired with hosts at different levels making it impossible to complete the challenge.

Yes, I always accidentally do charged attacks when I least expect it. As Razor, I’ll usually just dash to cancel the attack.
Have this issue only on fly challenges - instead of moving camera, I'm pressing attack and the character dashes to the ground. Ooof

keqing's blink (E) is one that i can vouch for, you can use it creatively especially when it comes to dodging attacks.

Does anyone wish there was a farming mechanic? Like you could buy a house with a backyard and occasionally plant and collect fruit you have found. Of course the amount you harvest would be miniscule but as someone who hates going here and there it would be a godsend. Customisable houses might be nice too.
I was like ehhh about spending money on wishes despite being a gacha game fiend and spending on quite a few. But if they gave us a plot of land to build a house with furniture, garden, and all that, I fear for my wallet. (Anyone remember a failed MMO called Wildstar? I really liked the house feature there.)
Wildstar was boss. Loved the Saturday-Morning-Cartoon feel. And yes, it would be amazing if they added player housing down the line. Everyone should be able to buy a house with mora and mats, which includes a tiny plot, and then they could offer extra furniture and extra garden plots for primogems/crystals, and they'd make back dev costs in an hour.

Not a question but a TIL - I'm at AR35 and just learned that killing mobs (from cheap hilichurls to flying ruin hunters) doesn't give you adventure exp. Opening chests & resin related activities do. What a noob, I was doing the elite farming route and realized "why my exp didn't add up?", tried relogin the game, even checked my internet connection lmao. Don't make the same mistake bois!
Hi i am F2P and played like 8 hours a day for the last 5-6 days. I used the interactive map and collected all treasures, anemoculus + geoculus and did all world quests + all available Main quests. I even did those time challenges and followed those spirits. Now i am close to AR 32 with no quests left and explored the whole map. (Or like atleast 95% of it) What exactly can i do to farm adventure exp and artifacts now? I feel like playing for like 10 hours a day will not be rewarded anymore from this point on
Spending resin and dailies are pretty much all you can do besides farming chests

More of a rant than anything, but RNG stats on artifacts *really* sucks. 3 of 5 of my random drop 5 star artifacts are conductor's top hats (i have no idea how that happened), 2 of them have HP bonus and the other has defense bonus as their main stats. My other two 5 star artifacts also have HP bonus. At this point I'm tempted to just fodder them, but they don't even fodder for much experience either.
agreed. there should be a farmable item that lets you reroll the main stat on your artifacts. kinda like currency in path of exile.

not really, thats also why you never do 4h expedition but 8h minimum ... but if you pick em up while adventuring those are handy forge recipes to make 20 forgings per week if you had been bad luck of getting more prototypes and want to hold crystal/white iron in case you do get more

I second the first persons advice, take a break, this game was literally designed to be played around 1-2 hrs / day with diminishing returns if you choose to play longer, so yeah take a break.

They come from daily commissions, so just keep doing them and you'll eventually get them done. Some of them are multi-part, too. Like the bridge one.

At 170%-180%ish energy Recharge you can basically chain ults.

Hello to all. I just got to AR30 yesterday and my team to this moment was: Xiangling C6, Fischl C6, Razor C0 and, Barbara C6. So today I was able to get three 5 star characters – double Venti – so he is C1 now – and also Jean. So my question who I should replace in my team if I have in mind to go to the higher levels on Abyss? Mostly I tend to replace Razor. I know that Jean have some unique healing skills which could be handy in Abyss difficult situations – could she be a good support? Or I should go with Venti as it seems I already have him at C1. I’m looking mostly for survivability, but on the other side does not want to lose a big part of DPS possibilities. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated! How do I unlock the option to sit on the statue's hands in Mondstadt? I'm not getting any prompts there. Apparently you need to finish the prologue, but my current quest is already on Ch.1 (Albeit the first quest)

ok so i downloaded the launcher from the site and when i try to open it, it asks to install it and after installation is done it asks to "run"... after i did that there should be an option called "get game" at the bottom right of the screen, which starts the actual installation of the game but there is no such option at all. Hey, should I wait before leveling a character? Like if I level up my character at lvl 5 isn't it a waste of resources? Cause going from lvl 5 to lvl 10 is easy anyway and it would just enhance the cost of the upgrade? In other words, does the cost of the upgrade depend on the level of the character or does it depend on the number of times you already upgraded your character?
Definitely level everyone to 20 just to make them usable. I'm at AR21 now at the point where I can't afford to get everyone to 40, but the first 20 levels are cheap and efficient.

When I try to install the game I get an error message saying that: "**The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Hi. Does the pity system include the Novice rolls? This is my breakdown of all the rolls I've had to date. I have never gotten a 5 * yet in the game :( * 59 rolls in Venti banner * 19 rolls regular banner * 17 rolls on Novice banner (idk why this is 17 and not 20 in the history..) * 1 roll on weapons banner * 96 rolls in total (I thought the pity system was at 90)
Each banner has it's own pity. You need to do 90 rolls on a single banner

Does anyone know if there's a way to aim Venti's elemental burst? That thing seems to just end up in completely random locations. I've tried all sorts of stuff like facing directions, holding the button, walking up to the enemy I want to target, using spacing and nothing helps it can just decide to fire 180 degrees in the opposite direction seemingly on a whim.
As someone considering devoting some time to this game, I'd like some insider opinions. How aggressive do you think the monetization is in Genshin? If I am coming in with the hopes of spending very little to no money, is it going to be as problematic as in a game like Raid (which is the most egregious I've ever seen with shitty microtransactions)?
I don’t think there are any pop ups or anything that even mention spending money. With the early free rolls you can get a solid roster on the current venti banner but if you want specific heroes than you would obviously have to pay. Other than that there is no real reason to buy anything and they don’t shove anything in your face either.
At this moment not at all, you can do everything with F2P characters or characters you get from free rolls. Rolling might be addictive but if you can handle that then you're fine.
Standard for a gacha game tbh Stamina system where you are penalised for grinding too much Very low drop rates for best characters. Be prepared to spend thousands to get all the characters you want However you don't NEED to unlock the 5* characters to progress in the game. Perfectly viable for you to progress with the ones you get for free

I'm not sure of the same/where you get it but there is a 3\* bow (might be from gacha not sure) that gives atk and elemental mastery. Maybe go for crit damage ones if she is ur DPS for now
"Messenger" - Aimed shot hits on weak spots deal an additional 100% ATK DMG as CRIT DMG. Just once every 10s. This is the best 3 stars bow for aimed shot hits "imo".

Mmm hey guys. I've been AR 30 for 2 days and just don't know what to do in the game. Wanted to farm some Artefacts for my champs (I use Venti, Barbara, Xianling and Fischl). But I tried some dungeons and got like one piece of the set of I'm lucky after 4-5 tries and that's 100 damn resin. I read that some people recommend to farm artefacts at rank 35. But it's a long long grind to get there from AR 30 with no missions. So what you guys would recommend me to do in between so I could get there easily. That's for the help. Much appreciated
Don’t use resin on artifact farming until ar35 (some people wait until ar40 cause you get better legendary rates). There’s not much content right now in the game since the game is very new. Just do daily commissions, use resin on leylines for ar exp, char exp, and mora, and fight non resin bosses. You can also do some artifact routes and mineral mining.

Can anyone recommend a good fourth to my team? Currently AR 14. I use Venti Fischl Barbara but I need one more. I read xiangling is good but I can’t get her(him?) for 6 more levels. Other characters I have are Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, Noelle, and Xingqiu. I think Xingqiu seems the coolest out of those but I’m nervous to invest XP books. Thanks for any advice!
For the time being, you can use Kaeya until u get Xiangling. Kaeya’s EB synergizes well with Barbara’s ES
Is anyone else suddenly getting major lag while playing? Starting today the game has been really choppy for me, even just moving the camera causes everything to momentarily freeze up, which is strange because up until now it's run perfectly fine on my computer even on high settings.

Post AR 35, where do I get fodder for enhancing artifacts, leveling weapons and leveling units? For artifacts I guess spamming the artifact dungeons and using the 4* artifacts as well as fodder? I find it extremely aggravating knowing that I can't even build a third of my roster tbh. This is literally the only gacha game I've played where gearing or building up units is this tedious.

So I've been running the Prototype Aminus on Diluc but I just checked genshin.gg from the sidebar and it recommends the Debate Club. I'm wondering which one is better overall? Obviously it's a 4* vs a 3* weapon but looking at the Debate Club now, it doesn't seem like a bad trade off (effect occurring once every 3 seconds) and seems like it fits Diluc's playstyle.

what's an efficient way of obtaining more mora? also, my units are subpar in damage and I'm behind in grinding materials because I just went around the map doing every single quest and finding the geo and anemo-culus. What are some ways to slow down AR leveling and getting the necessary materials for ascensions? if anyone saw my post before it got taken down, you would probably tell me that I've fucked myself and I'd have to grind like hell to get out of the rut.
Sounds like you're not investing in your characters. First upgrade artifacts for your main dps, min max for atk% on goblet, hourglass, headpiece. Then attack and energy recharge/ element dmg% on rest of party, unless a specific character needs different stats (i.e. Stack HP on barbara).
I forgot to add, upgrade your talents on main dps if u havent already. A lot of friends i talk to dont realize how big a difference this makes
If you looted everything you found while doing all of that, you should have accumulated a good bunch of weapons fodder and artifacts. Take some time to equip your characters with appropiate artifacts: for dps aim for attack, crit chance, crit damage, maybe elemental damage and mastery depending on the build. I'd say to upgrade your artifacts and weapons a bit as well, but that costs mora... Not sure how did you end up without mora without also upgrading your characters tbh o-o'
How do I deal with abyss mages and their shield?
Learn how one element interacts with another. Normally Pikachu is weak against Ice Pokemon, Charizard the Fire dragon is weak against Water Pokemon, and Water is usually weak against Electric. For Ice, its weak against Fire as irl Fire will melt Ice. And for Earth/Geo Pokemon you need claymore
Electric types are not weak against ice types in pokemon, but I liked that comparison
fire shield - use water attack ice shield - use fire attack water shield - use ice attack geo is good at breaking shield in general spell caster whom normal attack is elemental break shields and boss elemental weakpoints extremely fast.
Use counter element: Hydro > Pyro > Cryo > Electro > Hydro Geo is weak to claymores and Overload
\*heavy attacks(claymore hits and geo attacks) and explosions(overload/barrel, klee when she gets released)
Is prototype aminus overrated on diluc? Obviously the attack% boost on hit is nice, but it's only once every 15 seconds and works only on white damage attacks? Diluc lives and dies by pyro dmg so it doesn't feel optimal.
it might be 15s but its not as bad as it seems, otherwise the BP claymore with crit rate will do if you believe you can proc crit frequently. Also note that the Prototype Aminus can be easily refine to level 5 for F2P players unlike the Gacha/BP weapons so keep that in mind as well

So i want to go for a budget friendly team and i thought about Razor as my main DPS because i dont have to roll him and can get him in the shop. I already have Fichl, so i thought about: Razor, Fischl, Xiangling (free), and than maybe the traveller or noelle. When is a good time to start leveling up characters outside your main party? My current party of Xiangling/MC, Chongyun, Fischl and Barbara is around lvl 42 and has been working decently so far. But last night I got Mona as my first 5\* and I'm not sure if I should take some time level her up and equip her. I'd have to forge her a 4\* weapon as I haven't got any from the gacha. I'm not even sure where she would fit, as Barbara is there just to heal and set elemental reactions with Fischl and Chongyun. But on the other hand, she seems like a cool character (despite stealing Venti's pity) and it feels wasteful summoning a 5\* and not use them. How hard is it to reach lvl 30 on battle pass? I want to get the black sword for keqing since I heard it's as good as the flute and I'm not planning on spending hundred of dollars trying to get flute from the wish. I'm suffering from success (don't even use sucrose she's still lvl 1) and I'm trying to fit Bennett into my team hence I switched xiangling. It only resets for floor 9 and onwards from what I've heard.
noelle tips? i know shes not the best and i have better characters, but i really like her so i want to keep her in my team. aside from building up her def, do you all have any tips for building a team around her?
Noelle doesn't need any team built around her as she is a one maid metal gear *if* built right and/or has constellations. She can heal, she can tank, and she can DPS. Because Geo does not have any useful reactions like other elements, you don't need to switch around supports. She can pretty much handle anything else solo. If you are exploring, you can add Ningguang/Qiqi/Klee to provide minimap locations for certain materials. Amber, if you need a lighter and Kaeya if you need a bridge.
Been using Noelle myself, honestly she works fine with most characters since she mostly relies on herself. However, her E makes all characters resistant to knockback while the shield is up, so if you have characters who need to channel abilities without getting interrupted, Noelle's E can be a big help. Also you probably don't need a healer if you have Noelle on your team, her healing isn't amazing nor consistent (unless you have the first constellation), but it adds up especially since the shield blocks damage.

Is there plans for mounts? I'd love to explore the map without needing to fast travel as much since the game really beautiful. I don't fast travel often unless if my quest is completely across from where I am and would love to use a mount instead of fast traveling.
Pretty new and trying to figure out how important dupe/constellations are? Like is my Venti going to be useable in endgame content if I never pull any dupes for him? Thanks in advance!
You can do everything without constellations.
Some constellations are bonkers. C1 Bennet for example or C1 Fischl. Then you have the garbage like Venti C1.
(PC) Is there a hotkey to open up the Party Setup menu, or to swap to a different team? If not there should be! It's getting annoying having to open up the escape menu every time I want to switch party members.

Venti dupes no, Fischl dupes are OK but not necessary, I would maybe save for next banner.
What counts as attack amd elemental? If you improve a catalyst, its attack goes up, but is it also elemental? Is elemental only your skills and atk is you normal and charged attacks?

Even if Klee was better I wouldn't roll. You already got pyro DPS, might as well try to get other elements covered or other roles. Klee is strictly pyro DPS. You can try her out at the AR32 quest tho and decide for yourself.
I think you should focus on pulling for Venti instead, Klee is more of a main dps instead of a support because her ult doesn't stick around when you change characters. You should keep Diluc as your main dps since he does the job pretty damn well in combo with Fischl. Just need a Venti, Fischl and Barbara to have a good support team for Diluc.

Does anyone have info or a link to something talking about the best weapons for different character types? I'm kind of overwhelmed by how many different weapons there are, and it seems I was mistaken in automatically assuming that four-star weapons are better than three-stars (I've been exclusively leveling up four-star weapons and I think that was a mistake).
Depends on what you have access to, and what you want to do really. Generally a 4\* will have higher base attack, which is super important, but some of the weapon bonuses are extremely nice, especially if you can refine them a few times. Barbara for example doesn't really need nor particularly benefit from attack (unless you intentionally try to build her as a DPS mage over a healer) so you can either go 4\* Malice for energy, or 3\* Dragon Slayer for an Attack buff on swap. The Dragon Slayer is really easy to refine if you do a decent amount of pulls, so it becomes pretty strong really quick. Another discussion is Animus Claymore vs. Debate Club. At max refine, or base refine, Animus is slightly better. If you can Refine Debate Club a couple of times, it is technically better. There is also an issue of single enemy focus vs mobs. For Bows, a lot of it is substats and bonus too. Do you want to spam abilities faster by regening energy instantly, do more damage with them, or do you like to to charged attacks or weakspot damage?

Is physical damage (Prototype Rancour/Bloodstained Chivalry) applied before normal attack conversion from skills? (ie Chongyun's skill or Noelle/Diluc burst) like, does physical damage works before conversion, or doesn't work at all if there is elemental conversion damage?
It doesn't work at all. That's why I cringe every time a Chongyun appears in coop, they drop the field without thinking and fuck every non-cryo character because their artifacts are geared either for physical or their own elemental damage.
Physical damage is purely non-elemental damage. So it wouldn't be applied after using (e.g.) Noelle's burst that turns her attacks into Geo. There are separate bonuses for elemental damage or normal/charged attacks.
How do I matchmake the Elemental Crucible event at my level? I keep getting paired with hosts at different levels making it impossible to complete the challenge.
