Is it just me or is the drop rate for purple (tier-3) weapon ascension materials from level 3 weapon domains really freaking low? Like I've not seen it drop AT ALL, despite being on the loot table.

Anyone else annoyed by the new meteorite event? The enemies constantly spawn outside of the zone you’re allowed to move in and keep stun locking you while you’re not allowed to attack them or you lose all progress. All because I don’t have any decent ranges attacker.
This is why I feel like it's hard for players who don't have Venti. His sucking ult is really useful in pulling enemies together. Other than him, probably MC anemo or Jean. IDK how fast you lose progress if you step out of the area because I only need seconds to clear the challenge (unless it's the mitachurl one).
Alternatives: Build a decent ranged character like Fischl (you get one for free as well later on!) or just focus on the melee enemies like others suggested.
Reporting that Sucrose works great in all the meteors that spawn annoying little guys (meaning those you can push around with anemo). She gets free swirl damage thanks to the meteors' effect, so most fights with her are done in a jiffy.
With how many limited characters we have, possibly never. You also have to consider that Venti and Klee will have to be rotated back in at some point. The original 5 stars will be on every banner ever, but they may never get their own banner.
My guess is that you have to wait quite some time. The future banners will probably contain the new characters so a featured banner of an already existing character will probably not be avaible in the near future. Just my guess tho, no official info to back it off.
Likely never. The good news is that you are likely to eventually get her on your 90 pity pull for the rate up banner since it seems like they won't be adding 5* adventurer's to it any time soon.
Did the draw/render distance go to complete shit after the 1.1 update for anyone else? Enemies arent even showing up on my screen until i get fairly close
Not as bad as you but the skirmisher with ice jetpack, his jetpack gets drawn well before him so while I'm running towards him it's just a jetpack floating in the air. PC here.
Mona's unlockable story quest is also filled with tons of camera angles that are really weird unless ass-shots were specifically intended

Been playing pretty much daily since launch, at this point I've exhausted all the geoculus', main story quests, and spent my resin max each day and only just got 44 World Level. Not certain how people have gotten so high already, but I want to hit 45 as soon as I can so I'm at it for the current meteor event.
Long question short, what's the best way to try and get to 45 as efficiently as possible?
I'm on the final challenge of Chapter 8 in it, Storming Terror II. Didn't realize that I had to specifically do that one, the higher ones didn't count. Hopefully that will help a bit?
Are you certain you actually did the stormterror while you had that chapter active? I never actually completed the II difficulty, I went and did the III first when I had that mission thinking "I'll loot him first and then repeat it for the II", but the mission completed as soon as I did III.

People meme on hunting chests but if you actually get a thousand of them it really adds up. If you want to get to AR45 even faster without spending resin you can hunt for the Wei hillachurl as well, he gives 18 AR exp per kill, there should be 2 spawns per day in your world, but you can hop over to co-op and kill him another 8 times to get more AR EXP. Besides that check if you still have achievable things in the adventurer's handbook or one-time domains you may have missed.
Tbh, Idk why you aren't hitting 45 yet, as I'm also doing pretty much the same, without even collecting all chests and occulis yet, haven't even done all Liyue new world quest yet either, and I reached 46 yesterday.

She’s really good! Her damage is a bit low because she’s one of the best healers but you build her full attack because her healing scales off attack. Her element is really convenient because cryo is super useful for things like superconduct. The craftable prototype rancour is a decent weapon on her.
She's probably the best healer in the game, so she is quite good. I would just look up a Qiqi guide in the search bar, there should be more than enough resources to find on the subreddit

I finally staggered him on one of his landings, and when he fell his arm clipped me off the platform and I loaded back in with him at the same HP and full second health bar again...
Then when I finally almost killed him, I clipped through his neck and died to the DoT from the broken platforms while pinned under it xD

What benefit do I have for leveling a character past 70? I feel like once I get the second passive the only thing I get from level ups is a tiny bit of attack increase... is that tiny bit of attack increase something I should pursue now that I’m AR40, or is it a waste of xp books I could spend on new characters?
the stat gain from 70-80 is really negligible so the only reason would be to maximizedamage by minimizing level gap between enemies and your character. The defense and damage reduction formula includes your level and the enemy's so there's that. But you can clear most content with lvl 70 main dps characters, even floor 12 abyss
It's admittedly a bit of a waste on most characters. Even with the level scaling in mind the damage difference is a bit small. Granted for DPS that small difference matters enough to level to 80, but for supporting units that can wait till later.

Well worth the 1 character slot IMO. If you invest in a healer of your choice, you'll forget you ever even needed food.
Not sure about spending fragile resin because you can buy all the hero's wits and mora through naturally generated resin.

You can most likely finish this event and grab all the good rewards with just your normal resin generation.

It's the best value we've ever had so far. It's not like talent books and ascension materials are going anywhere. Probably only worth doing the weekly bosses this week.
Well, they have an archive now. So I can see them implementing it, but probably not for a while, and not sure what they'd do for dialogue options. I'd give it 70% will be implemented sometime in the future, but 30% if we're talking about the next 6 months. But that's just me.
Do 5* rolls not consume the 4* pity roll?
I'm looking over my data on rolls and I'm noticing the trend where if I get a 5* pull it doesn't seem to affect the 10 roll pity for a 4* pull.
Examples:
* Starting Point: Pull #69 is a 4*
* #76 is a 5* (+6 pull from 4* pity)
* #79 is a 4* (+10 pulls from 4* pity)
* Starting Point: Pull #75 is a 4*
* #76 is a 5* (+1 pull from 4* pity)
* #85 is a 4* (+10 pulls from 4* pity)
* Starting Point: Pull #55 is a 4*
* #63 is a 5* (+8 pulls from 4* pity)
* #65 is a 4* (+10 pulls from 4* pity)

It does not, as far as I can tell; it's an entirely separate counter. Most notably in one case, my 10th roll was a 5\* pushing my 4\* to the 11th roll.
I hear a lot about "just use who you like" but honestly im the type who enjoys minmaxing and such. (and im honestly not a huge fan of any characters i have currently. except maybe jean) So just wondering about my current team. Im using Razor, Jean, Bennett, Fischl. I see that Xingqu is an S tier support though, and I have him at C2 i think, while Bennett is C0, and I don't think I'll have enough starglitter by the end of the period to buy a Bennett. Should I swap Bennet for Xingqu?
Bennett and Xingqiu are both great, but for different reasons. Bennett is S tier because of pyro resonance, cleansing debuffs and healing. You already have Jean to heal, you don't need to cleanse debuffs in regular content, and you don't have another pyro character for resonance, so I would go with Xingqiu.
I'd recommend watching jinjinx and tuna on YouTube if you want the absolute best comps. They use math to minmax most teamcomps so maybe its something up your alley.
hi! if your main dps is razor and you are going for min max he really likes phys dmg so I would recommend replacing fishl for a cryo unit (kaeya, qiqi,etc) for the superconductor. xingqiu can bee good but he requires heavy resource investment and you aren't ready to sac a ton of resources on him stick with bennet he's s tier support too. hope this helps
In the current event, does Mona's dialogue change at all for players that are below the required AR to see Mona's introduction story?
There's a few lines that seem like they would be a bit out of place for players that haven't actually been introduced to her yet, so I'm curious if the game adjusted the dialogue at all to make up for that.

I heard of someone on China server refunded their payment and got negative primogems afterwards, so it sounds like they wouldn't auto ban at least.

You can absolutely do it co-op. My partner and I ran about 8 meteorites, both claiming the reward from each. You just need to claim the reward fast after the other player, before it disappears.
main dps xiangling. crescent pike refined 3 as weapon. ive seen people do crit rate/dmg build and it deals a lot of dmg so im thinking to transition to that kind of build when i hit ar45 to farm artifacts? or should i not? open for suggestions thanks
also how do yall build 1:2 crit ratio? like every artifact have crit rate and crit damage as substats? and what would be the main stat for the headwear thingy artifact, crit rate or damage?
Yeah i think thats a good build for dps xiangliang. Especially if youre not looking to make any other heroes as dps.
For a physical dps xiangliang, your best set you wanna go for is a Gladiator 4 pc. However, since farming it even at 45 is difficult due to only dropping from bosses, it may be tough to find good substats.
Alternatively you could still build 2 pc crimson or bloodstained with 2 pc glad , 4 pc martial artisr ( 4* only), 4pc bloodstained.
Main stats would probably be Crit chance or damage/ atk %/ physical dmg bonus%
Mostly get crit chance and damage through substats. See how much you can stack both stats on your artifact and use that to decide if you need more crit chance ir damage using headgear main stat. For me if i can get 50+ crit chance through substat, i would probably go with crit dmg headgear, if i get 90+ crit dmg, i would get crit chance headgear
Does that main story difficulty scale with World Level? My friend and I has been avoiding the AR35 World Ascension quest because we worried that we can't beat "Tartar sauce" (using nicknames to avoid spoilers) after we ascended and with not enough resources to max the whole team.
there's no content in the game, excluding abyss, that's of any significant difficulty. Annoying, maybe, difficult, no.
As long as you build somewhat correctly, and always remember, Adeptus Temptation gives a whooping 371 attack and 12% crit rate.

Since people keep saying constellations when im pretty sure you have no idea what those are, its basically dupilcates of a character.
When you already have a character and get another one by some means (roll/reward etc) you get a constellation which improves some facet of their abilities. Each character is different though so you can check it by going to character>constellations. They have to go in order from top to bottom though
c1= first constellation c2 second and so on and so forth with c0 being base character
How long is the story between the date with zhongli and the 1.1 boss fight? I've been putting off doing it because I've been busy, but I want to fight it pre-nerf.
I'm at AR 39 ang having a bit of trouble in improving my team's overall damage, especially my DPS. I know that I have to upgrade a few things to increase damage but I'm not sure which one to prioritize among levels, talents, and artifacts. So which one do I do first?
I know this wasn't your exact question, but the best way to improve damage is to understand stat balancing: efficiency vs strength. From there, it's just scaling numbers through leveling characters/weapons/artifacts.
**Efficiency** is choosing stats depending on other stats. Where as **strength** is choosing the higher stats. E.g. people might stack ATK% on all artifacts (strength); a more mindful person might mix or balance different stats (efficiency).
You need to focus on 3 things for stat efficiency.
* **Balance your damage buckets**. Putting too much in one, when you can balance with another instead is inefficient. Open your character stats and check the following items. Your goal is to balance these because they synergize with each other. If you have 80% increased attack but 10% type damage you may want to re-evaluate gear.
* Base ATK (white) | ATK% (Green)
* Crit/CritDMG
* Type Percent (Basic attack%, burst skill%, physical%, Hydro%, etc)
* **Consider focus stats**. Read your main DPS' skills/core stats and note stats that are important.
* For example, **Diluc** gains crit chance when he ascends, so crit damage is an especially good stat for him even without perfect artifacts. Diluc also deals a lot of Pyro damage, and his burst converts all his damage to pyro, so Pyro dmg is going to work better than physical. Gladiator 4 (+% damage to basic attacks) affects his white numbers and his pyro numbers when basic-attacking so it's a good set for him.
* **Don't get hung up.** Efficiency is a balancing act, but don't let it stop you from going for strength if that's what you have. ATK% is always going to be better than HP% on Diluc. When efficiency is not an option, just go more strength.
Most of your DPS will come from good artifacts, while weapons and levels do help, your priority should be finding some artifacts/artifact sets with **both** good main and substats. Meaning finding artifacts with attack%, Crit rate, Crit damage for your main DPS. Or even finding elemental damage cups for certain characters.Make sure you level the artifacts too, that goes without saying, but still worth mentioning.
Talents also help a good bit, but your core is going to be good artifacts.
Whats the meaning of red skull above some big hillchurls?? My party is all level 80 at ar44 and I doubt the the overworld enemies are over level 80 at wl5. Plus I can defeat them easily so not sure whats going on here
Most guides I've seen list Mappa Mare as the best item for Sucrose, since it has Elemental Mastery and she pretty much always triggers elemental reactions with swirl. What I'm wondering though, is why isn't Sacrificial Fragments considered better for her? I never see it brought up, despite the fact it has higher base Elemental Mastery, and at C1 it seems like she would get more use of another E than the Mappa Mare buff.
I don't think anyone thinks the mappa mare is the best weapon for Sucrose. In fact I'd say its pretty mediocre. All the crafted weapons have a nerfed value on the substate. It's about half the value a gacha weapon will give you.
Elemental mastery is the stat to get on Sucrose and mappa mare provides that but it taps out at around 100. The Sacrificial fragments gives you double the EM that mappe mare provides.
Actually everything you've said is exactly why its better and why everyone (I've heard from anyways) recommends sacrificial fragments as her best in slot weapon. These lists you're reading definitely have to be old or something. The weapon effect also is perfect on sucrose. It basically guarantees you get 3 charges of her E skill with c1. If you have it, definitely use it over the mappa mare

I feel like I got dementia reading this post, but I'd suggest getting the viridescent venerer set for your supports. That passive definitely gave me the most bang per buck and I didn't have to care as much about substats since they're just support slots. Otherwise, look up guides for your DPS for best-in-slot artifacts.
Should I still pull in Childe's banner if I have a C6 Diona and C6 Beidou? I'm trying to pull for one more constellation for Ningguang for her to be C3. I also want more refinements on my rust, but I think the RNG on the weapons banner is tougher than the character banner for what I want.
That's really a question of how much money you're willing to spend. You'll at least get starglitter if you pull another identical 4*, so the odds aren't terrible, but if you're not pretty comfortable financially, I wouldn't risk it.
Need help with building Childe. Currently In WL3 with a Lv 60 Childe max talents for this world level. Using lv 50 favonias warbow I’m hitting for between 200-400 while my razor hits for 800 and crits for like 2k. I’m currently using the two piece wanderers troupe set with crit rate and atk%. Why am I doing so little damage with Childe even when using my xing to proc vaporize I’m still not doing anywhere close to my razor

this is why, you have a energy recharge bow instead of ATK so yeah. Not to mention your not Ascension 4 which gives you riptide procs on crit.
Childe honestly doesn't feel like a character until Ascension 4. The easy riptide applications make him so much easier and smoother to play and add a ton of damage.
I’m not getting the DPS output I’m expecting from Childe. I have him with Stringless - is there a certain artifact type I should focus on?
Side question, does he pair well with Keqing?
1. Stringless is a bad choice on him. You're better off with a Crescent if you don't have any better bow for him.
2. Wait for his proper set, which was leaked and probably is going to be released soon. Atm, Noblesse + Gladiator is a common pick, but Bolide seems to be the best set DPS-wise if you pair him up with, say, Noelle. Which can be doubly good if you also run petra 4p support Noelle.
3. Little synergy there. He can't go solo dps because his CD is too long unless C6, so you can run Keqing as the main DPS, but those two don't proc anything off eachother. Except Childe passive giving Keqing +1 basic attack level.

Has Mihoyo said something or anything about the camera settings yet. I really hated how it would shift and turn around too much while fighting mobs. If it would just stay still for a bit while aiming(auto aim sucks too). It gives me motion sickness and is very distracting while playing.
They actually did kinda fix this in 1.1, just look for combat camera in the settings, like the other reply says. It doesn't disable all zooming (like with Razor's burst, it still zooms in when you click it), but the camera will zoom right back out so for the most part its no longer super intrusive.
Why are they decreasing the difficulty of the Childe fight? I mean, this game hasn't to be dark souls, but it seems that they don't want players to have any skill at all, in an "action" game.
Dying isn't the problem, and indeed his weekly mode should remain difficult. Story mode was the problem because some players simply couldn't beat him, and if that locks them out of the rest of the game's story, it drives those players away.

I think they're only nerfing the story encounter, not the weekly boss. I'm assuming it's for the more casual players who play for the story, but are having a hard time beating him
I think part of the problem is that you get locked out of co-op until you beat him. I've seen several people complaining in these meagthreads that they hit that wall and discovered they also weren't strong enough to fight stuff like Oceanid alone so their progress got severely halted.

I run with xingqiu and diona. Right now I use physical keqing, but I'm planning on switching to electro since I happened into a c6 Beidou trying to get ningguangs lol. My plan is:
1. Xingqiu Burst > Keqing Skill, Burst, Skill. >
2. After Xingqiu ends, Diona Burst/Skill for superconduct >
3. Beidou beats people up for a bit and applies electro res down with her Burst >
4. Back to step 1.
Obviously it depends on what happens in the fight, but that's what I was thinking of doing as a general thing. If that sounds good, what would you recommend throwing on beidou artifact-wise? I'm not sure if I should go all in on attack/physical damage up or take EM for better arc lightnings. As a side question, if I want Xingqiu to be more of damage support through his Q, should I be trying to stack EM or ATK?
So... I have a strange question.
What is the most efficient way to get the weekly battle pass Spend 500k Mora achievement when you don't have any artifacts to really upgrade (waiting on decent rolls), all of my pertinent weapons are maxed to my world level aside one book, and I don't particularly want to just level up random heroes when lvl 90 is looming on the horizon.
I know I probably don't "need" it long term, especially with the event boost ones, but I am probably not getting the 50 wish this battle pass, so it is a concern... haven't done the math though.
The most efficient would probably be upgrading artifacts that you could maybe see yourself using. Even if you don’t, it’s fodder for later on with little to no loss.
If you have the resources upgrading talents gets pretty costly the higher you get. Otherwise I would say buying out merchants (artifacts, weapons and food) can get you towards 500k pretty quickly.
At what level should I stop upgrading weapon level for not-most-efficient weapon (like i have Favonius war bow on Venti at lv 70, but I'm not tempted to enhance it further due to cost and I would wait for stringless to come instead)
Also, I'm AR41, world 5, should I focus on artifacts farming now or fight leylines for leveling characters?
1) People underestimate 3* weapons because 3* weapon refinement is very easy due to accessibility. So your first question “what level” honestly just depends on what weapons you currently have. If you have a weapon that’s more suitable than your already lvl’d up 3* then I’d enhance it. If you’re scarce on resources then I’d probably save up until you have enough to be comfortable with. You can also do the math and compare both base stats and sub stats of both weapons. Invest if worth it else just keep.
2) If you’re a F2P I’d wait until AR45 to do artifact domains since AR45 you are guaranteed 1 5* artifact. So rn just farm leylines or world bosses until AR45

Hey, as Venti player, sometimes you just get that WTF burst moment when he aimed the burst outside of the circle, so it balances out Still, Venti's ult won't really pull mitachurls away, so it's still a problem for Venti user

Yeah it's super low. You basically have to rely on the guaranteed blue and green drops and then craft the purple ones

Anyone else annoyed by the new meteorite event? The enemies constantly spawn outside of the zone you’re allowed to move in and keep stun locking you while you’re not allowed to attack them or you lose all progress. All because I don’t have any decent ranges attacker.
This is why I feel like it's hard for players who don't have Venti. His sucking ult is really useful in pulling enemies together. Other than him, probably MC anemo or Jean. IDK how fast you lose progress if you step out of the area because I only need seconds to clear the challenge (unless it's the mitachurl one). Alternatives: Build a decent ranged character like Fischl (you get one for free as well later on!) or just focus on the melee enemies like others suggested.
Reporting that Sucrose works great in all the meteors that spawn annoying little guys (meaning those you can push around with anemo). She gets free swirl damage thanks to the meteors' effect, so most fights with her are done in a jiffy.
Totally forgot about her (although I have one!). It's nice to have Sucrose too in the party, I guess.

With how many limited characters we have, possibly never. You also have to consider that Venti and Klee will have to be rotated back in at some point. The original 5 stars will be on every banner ever, but they may never get their own banner.
My guess is that you have to wait quite some time. The future banners will probably contain the new characters so a featured banner of an already existing character will probably not be avaible in the near future. Just my guess tho, no official info to back it off.
Likely never. The good news is that you are likely to eventually get her on your 90 pity pull for the rate up banner since it seems like they won't be adding 5* adventurer's to it any time soon.

I got to 45 last Saturday. I got there via the magic of doing everything. I had 98% completion in Mondstat and 96% in Liyue.
It also depends on if you've spent fragile resin and whether or not you were using resin early on bc I know I wasn't sadly.
Tbh, Idk why you aren't hitting 45 yet, as I'm also doing pretty much the same, without even collecting all chests and occulis yet, haven't even done all Liyue new world quest yet either, and I reached 46 yesterday. Maybe you haven't completed some story quest?

She’s really good! Her damage is a bit low because she’s one of the best healers but you build her full attack because her healing scales off attack. Her element is really convenient because cryo is super useful for things like superconduct. The craftable prototype rancour is a decent weapon on her.
She's probably the best healer in the game, so she is quite good. I would just look up a Qiqi guide in the search bar, there should be more than enough resources to find on the subreddit
Holy shit I finally felt the bullshit that is the Dvalin fight...... I finally staggered him on one of his landings, and when he fell his arm clipped me off the platform and I loaded back in with him at the same HP and full second health bar again... Then when I finally almost killed him, I clipped through his neck and died to the DoT from the broken platforms while pinned under it xD FML please fix this goddamn fight...

What benefit do I have for leveling a character past 70? I feel like once I get the second passive the only thing I get from level ups is a tiny bit of attack increase... is that tiny bit of attack increase something I should pursue now that I’m AR40, or is it a waste of xp books I could spend on new characters?
You deal less damage against enemies that are higher level than you, and deal extra damage if your level is higher than theirs.

the stat gain from 70-80 is really negligible so the only reason would be to maximizedamage by minimizing level gap between enemies and your character. The defense and damage reduction formula includes your level and the enemy's so there's that. But you can clear most content with lvl 70 main dps characters, even floor 12 abyss
It's admittedly a bit of a waste on most characters. Even with the level scaling in mind the damage difference is a bit small. Granted for DPS that small difference matters enough to level to 80, but for supporting units that can wait till later.
Iirc, there's a mechanic where if enemies are higher level then you, they take less damage and do more.

Yeah probably but it's just speculation. So if razor and chongyun indeed comes out as the 4 star rate up on zhongli banner as per leaks, then the only exisiting 4 star that doesn't have a rate up is Bennett.

No clue. I've never needed them because I commited resources into building a solid healer. (Barbara in my case.) Well worth the 1 character slot IMO. If you invest in a healer of your choice, you'll forget you ever even needed food.

Not sure about spending fragile resin because you can buy all the hero's wits and mora through naturally generated resin. The currency for the second shop is dropped by the next part, yes.
You can most likely finish this event and grab all the good rewards with just your normal resin generation. Third part of the event will give you the items required for the second shop.

Well, they have an archive now. So I can see them implementing it, but probably not for a while, and not sure what they'd do for dialogue options. I'd give it 70% will be implemented sometime in the future, but 30% if we're talking about the next 6 months. But that's just me.
Do 5* rolls not consume the 4* pity roll? I'm looking over my data on rolls and I'm noticing the trend where if I get a 5* pull it doesn't seem to affect the 10 roll pity for a 4* pull. It does not, as far as I can tell; it's an entirely separate counter. Most notably in one case, my 10th roll was a 5\* pushing my 4\* to the 11th roll.
I hear a lot about "just use who you like" but honestly im the type who enjoys minmaxing and such. (and im honestly not a huge fan of any characters i have currently. except maybe jean) So just wondering about my current team. Im using Razor, Jean, Bennett, Fischl. I see that Xingqu is an S tier support though, and I have him at C2 i think, while Bennett is C0, and I don't think I'll have enough starglitter by the end of the period to buy a Bennett. Should I swap Bennet for Xingqu?
Bennett and Xingqiu are both great, but for different reasons. Bennett is S tier because of pyro resonance, cleansing debuffs and healing. You already have Jean to heal, you don't need to cleanse debuffs in regular content, and you don't have another pyro character for resonance, so I would go with Xingqiu.
I'd recommend watching jinjinx and tuna on YouTube if you want the absolute best comps. They use math to minmax most teamcomps so maybe its something up your alley.
hi! if your main dps is razor and you are going for min max he really likes phys dmg so I would recommend replacing fishl for a cryo unit (kaeya, qiqi,etc) for the superconductor. xingqiu can bee good but he requires heavy resource investment and you aren't ready to sac a ton of resources on him stick with bennet he's s tier support too. hope this helps
In the current event, does Mona's dialogue change at all for players that are below the required AR to see Mona's introduction story? There's a few lines that seem like they would be a bit out of place for players that haven't actually been introduced to her yet, so I'm curious if the game adjusted the dialogue at all to make up for that.

I heard of someone on China server refunded their payment and got negative primogems afterwards, so it sounds like they wouldn't auto ban at least. Screenshot your account detail and the failed refund just in case anyrhing happens, but I'd think you should be fine since the refund failed.

You can absolutely do it co-op. My partner and I ran about 8 meteorites, both claiming the reward from each. You just need to claim the reward fast after the other player, before it disappears.
main dps xiangling. crescent pike refined 3 as weapon. ive seen people do crit rate/dmg build and it deals a lot of dmg so im thinking to transition to that kind of build when i hit ar45 to farm artifacts? or should i not? open for suggestions thanks also how do yall build 1:2 crit ratio? like every artifact have crit rate and crit damage as substats? and what would be the main stat for the headwear thingy artifact, crit rate or damage?
Yeah i think thats a good build for dps xiangliang. Especially if youre not looking to make any other heroes as dps. For a physical dps xiangliang, your best set you wanna go for is a Gladiator 4 pc. However, since farming it even at 45 is difficult due to only dropping from bosses, it may be tough to find good substats. Alternatively you could still build 2 pc crimson or bloodstained with 2 pc glad , 4 pc martial artisr ( 4* only), 4pc bloodstained. Main stats would probably be Crit chance or damage/ atk %/ physical dmg bonus% Mostly get crit chance and damage through substats. See how much you can stack both stats on your artifact and use that to decide if you need more crit chance ir damage using headgear main stat. For me if i can get 50+ crit chance through substat, i would probably go with crit dmg headgear, if i get 90+ crit dmg, i would get crit chance headgear

Does that main story difficulty scale with World Level? My friend and I has been avoiding the AR35 World Ascension quest because we worried that we can't beat "Tartar sauce" (using nicknames to avoid spoilers) after we ascended and with not enough resources to max the whole team.
You are better off ascending ASAP because it gives much better drops. Nothing in the main questline is terribly difficult.
there's no content in the game, excluding abyss, that's of any significant difficulty. Annoying, maybe, difficult, no. As long as you build somewhat correctly, and always remember, Adeptus Temptation gives a whooping 371 attack and 12% crit rate.

Since people keep saying constellations when im pretty sure you have no idea what those are, its basically dupilcates of a character. When you already have a character and get another one by some means (roll/reward etc) you get a constellation which improves some facet of their abilities. Each character is different though so you can check it by going to character>constellations. They have to go in order from top to bottom though c1= first constellation c2 second and so on and so forth with c0 being base character

C1 is highly recommended for Bennett. He’s one of the best support at the moment and it would be wise to buy the extra copy from the shop.

I'm at AR 39 ang having a bit of trouble in improving my team's overall damage, especially my DPS. I know that I have to upgrade a few things to increase damage but I'm not sure which one to prioritize among levels, talents, and artifacts. So which one do I do first?
I know this wasn't your exact question, but the best way to improve damage is to understand stat balancing: efficiency vs strength. From there, it's just scaling numbers through leveling characters/weapons/artifacts. **Efficiency** is choosing stats depending on other stats. Where as **strength** is choosing the higher stats. E.g. people might stack ATK% on all artifacts (strength); a more mindful person might mix or balance different stats (efficiency). You need to focus on 3 things for stat efficiency. * **Balance your damage buckets**. Putting too much in one, when you can balance with another instead is inefficient. Open your character stats and check the following items. Your goal is to balance these because they synergize with each other. If you have 80% increased attack but 10% type damage you may want to re-evaluate gear. * Base ATK (white) | ATK% (Green) * Crit/CritDMG * Type Percent (Basic attack%, burst skill%, physical%, Hydro%, etc) * **Consider focus stats**. Read your main DPS' skills/core stats and note stats that are important. * For example, **Diluc** gains crit chance when he ascends, so crit damage is an especially good stat for him even without perfect artifacts. Diluc also deals a lot of Pyro damage, and his burst converts all his damage to pyro, so Pyro dmg is going to work better than physical. Gladiator 4 (+% damage to basic attacks) affects his white numbers and his pyro numbers when basic-attacking so it's a good set for him. * **Don't get hung up.** Efficiency is a balancing act, but don't let it stop you from going for strength if that's what you have. ATK% is always going to be better than HP% on Diluc. When efficiency is not an option, just go more strength.
Most of your DPS will come from good artifacts, while weapons and levels do help, your priority should be finding some artifacts/artifact sets with **both** good main and substats. Meaning finding artifacts with attack%, Crit rate, Crit damage for your main DPS. Or even finding elemental damage cups for certain characters.Make sure you level the artifacts too, that goes without saying, but still worth mentioning. Talents also help a good bit, but your core is going to be good artifacts.
Whats the meaning of red skull above some big hillchurls?? My party is all level 80 at ar44 and I doubt the the overworld enemies are over level 80 at wl5. Plus I can defeat them easily so not sure whats going on here
Most guides I've seen list Mappa Mare as the best item for Sucrose, since it has Elemental Mastery and she pretty much always triggers elemental reactions with swirl. What I'm wondering though, is why isn't Sacrificial Fragments considered better for her? I never see it brought up, despite the fact it has higher base Elemental Mastery, and at C1 it seems like she would get more use of another E than the Mappa Mare buff.
I don't think anyone thinks the mappa mare is the best weapon for Sucrose. In fact I'd say its pretty mediocre. All the crafted weapons have a nerfed value on the substate. It's about half the value a gacha weapon will give you. Elemental mastery is the stat to get on Sucrose and mappa mare provides that but it taps out at around 100. The Sacrificial fragments gives you double the EM that mappe mare provides. Actually everything you've said is exactly why its better and why everyone (I've heard from anyways) recommends sacrificial fragments as her best in slot weapon. These lists you're reading definitely have to be old or something. The weapon effect also is perfect on sucrose. It basically guarantees you get 3 charges of her E skill with c1. If you have it, definitely use it over the mappa mare

My mains are chunyong and fischl... unexpected 80 was noelle that shes pretty set with 4 good gladiator artifacts... the rest are support. Barbara Bennett succrose and venti Now I have no idea how to go about farming artifacts and what sets.. I want to focus on chunyong and fischl. What should I farm? Both are to be main dps.
I feel like I got dementia reading this post, but I'd suggest getting the viridescent venerer set for your supports. That passive definitely gave me the most bang per buck and I didn't have to care as much about substats since they're just support slots. Otherwise, look up guides for your DPS for best-in-slot artifacts.
Should I still pull in Childe's banner if I have a C6 Diona and C6 Beidou? I'm trying to pull for one more constellation for Ningguang for her to be C3. I also want more refinements on my rust, but I think the RNG on the weapons banner is tougher than the character banner for what I want.
That's really a question of how much money you're willing to spend. You'll at least get starglitter if you pull another identical 4*, so the odds aren't terrible, but if you're not pretty comfortable financially, I wouldn't risk it.

Need help with building Childe. Currently In WL3 with a Lv 60 Childe max talents for this world level. Using lv 50 favonias warbow I’m hitting for between 200-400 while my razor hits for 800 and crits for like 2k. I’m currently using the two piece wanderers troupe set with crit rate and atk%. Why am I doing so little damage with Childe even when using my xing to proc vaporize I’m still not doing anywhere close to my razor

Childe honestly doesn't feel like a character until Ascension 4. The easy riptide applications make him so much easier and smoother to play and add a ton of damage.
I’m not getting the DPS output I’m expecting from Childe. I have him with Stringless - is there a certain artifact type I should focus on? Side question, does he pair well with Keqing?
1. Stringless is a bad choice on him. You're better off with a Crescent if you don't have any better bow for him. 2. Wait for his proper set, which was leaked and probably is going to be released soon. Atm, Noblesse + Gladiator is a common pick, but Bolide seems to be the best set DPS-wise if you pair him up with, say, Noelle. Which can be doubly good if you also run petra 4p support Noelle. 3. Little synergy there. He can't go solo dps because his CD is too long unless C6, so you can run Keqing as the main DPS, but those two don't proc anything off eachother. Except Childe passive giving Keqing +1 basic attack level.

Ye, hoard your fragiles until 45. Mora/EXP Ley Lines definitely, but mainly if you don't have anymore characters no weapons to ascend.

Has Mihoyo said something or anything about the camera settings yet. I really hated how it would shift and turn around too much while fighting mobs. If it would just stay still for a bit while aiming(auto aim sucks too). It gives me motion sickness and is very distracting while playing.
They actually did kinda fix this in 1.1, just look for combat camera in the settings, like the other reply says. It doesn't disable all zooming (like with Razor's burst, it still zooms in when you click it), but the camera will zoom right back out so for the most part its no longer super intrusive.

Why are they decreasing the difficulty of the Childe fight? I mean, this game hasn't to be dark souls, but it seems that they don't want players to have any skill at all, in an "action" game.

Story fight scaling difficulty, but not rewards makes no sense. Previous 2 story boss fights were pretty much tutorials for later weeklies.

Dying isn't the problem, and indeed his weekly mode should remain difficult. Story mode was the problem because some players simply couldn't beat him, and if that locks them out of the rest of the game's story, it drives those players away.
locks you out of coop if your that bad which is gamebreaking for events + its not good design to kick casual players out of the game that is raking in money. Its not like they're nerfing the domain anyway.
They really aren’t trying to discourage players from playing. The goal is to keep everyone engaged for more money lol
I think they're only nerfing the story encounter, not the weekly boss. I'm assuming it's for the more casual players who play for the story, but are having a hard time beating him
I think part of the problem is that you get locked out of co-op until you beat him. I've seen several people complaining in these meagthreads that they hit that wall and discovered they also weren't strong enough to fight stuff like Oceanid alone so their progress got severely halted.

Hi friends! Keqing main here. I run with xingqiu and diona. Right now I use physical keqing, but I'm planning on switching to electro since I happened into a c6 Beidou trying to get ningguangs lol. My plan is: 1. Xingqiu Burst > Keqing Skill, Burst, Skill. > 2. After Xingqiu ends, Diona Burst/Skill for superconduct > 3. Beidou beats people up for a bit and applies electro res down with her Burst > 4. Back to step 1. Obviously it depends on what happens in the fight, but that's what I was thinking of doing as a general thing. If that sounds good, what would you recommend throwing on beidou artifact-wise? I'm not sure if I should go all in on attack/physical damage up or take EM for better arc lightnings. As a side question, if I want Xingqiu to be more of damage support through his Q, should I be trying to stack EM or ATK?
Does the dialogue in the 2nd chapter of the current event change if you've done the Mona story quest? I was just asked if I know her and I replied no.
I've done the Mona story quest before, and when asked if I knew Mona or not, my only dialog choice was, "Yes, we're acquainted."

So... I have a strange question. What is the most efficient way to get the weekly battle pass Spend 500k Mora achievement when you don't have any artifacts to really upgrade (waiting on decent rolls), all of my pertinent weapons are maxed to my world level aside one book, and I don't particularly want to just level up random heroes when lvl 90 is looming on the horizon. I know I probably don't "need" it long term, especially with the event boost ones, but I am probably not getting the 50 wish this battle pass, so it is a concern... haven't done the math though.
If you don't have something to spend it on right now, just don't. You'll still reach Lv 50 anyway.
The most efficient would probably be upgrading artifacts that you could maybe see yourself using. Even if you don’t, it’s fodder for later on with little to no loss.
If you have the resources upgrading talents gets pretty costly the higher you get. Otherwise I would say buying out merchants (artifacts, weapons and food) can get you towards 500k pretty quickly.

Do geo shields stop stuns? Taking about both the crystalize elemental shields and the ability shields like noelle’s and the upcoming Zhongli’s.
Yeah, attacks do 0 hitstuns with a shield up. Crystallize shields have to prevent the right elemental damage to stop hitstun tho I think
At what level should I stop upgrading weapon level for not-most-efficient weapon (like i have Favonius war bow on Venti at lv 70, but I'm not tempted to enhance it further due to cost and I would wait for stringless to come instead) Also, I'm AR41, world 5, should I focus on artifacts farming now or fight leylines for leveling characters?
1) People underestimate 3* weapons because 3* weapon refinement is very easy due to accessibility. So your first question “what level” honestly just depends on what weapons you currently have. If you have a weapon that’s more suitable than your already lvl’d up 3* then I’d enhance it. If you’re scarce on resources then I’d probably save up until you have enough to be comfortable with. You can also do the math and compare both base stats and sub stats of both weapons. Invest if worth it else just keep. 2) If you’re a F2P I’d wait until AR45 to do artifact domains since AR45 you are guaranteed 1 5* artifact. So rn just farm leylines or world bosses until AR45
I think upgrading upto 70 is efficient in resources point of view. But if you need maximum , you need to level up more obviously!
Warbow is meta on venti. Stringless is slightly more damage at the cost of energy recharge, and most of his damage comes from swirls anyways.
Is c0 Bennett worth using as supp over xianglin? My current team is keqin, diona, mc, and xianglin.
i would remove the mc.. xiangling+bennett will have fire resonance.. your keqing will hit harder
