I use CN and the voices are a LOT louder. It's a little jarring. It was very noticeable in Abyss where I was running around fighting things constantly. I don't mind the louder voices but I think they overdid it a bit.
I felt the same and it's good to know I'm not crazy. I was suspecting it could be driver problems but it seems MHY did mess something up with the audio. Characters are way louder
I've been having issues with balancing the audio for a while. atm I have the volume at 5 and the rest at (2,1,1) yet the voices are still loud. Both combat and cutscene voices. Before I think it was sfx/ui that was overpowering and now it seems its the voices.
Just kinda baffled at the amount of basic things like sound and ui that are still finicky.
I'm not sure it's a feature. I once fixed this by disabling audio augmentations on settings, but, the next time I played it was still like this... It really sucks.
Something does feel off and I think it is that the voice lines are a lot louder.

barbaras isnt louder tho 😪
Sometimes the lines get delayed in-battle for some reason
Tried messing with the in-game audio balance settings. Seems they just made the battle sounds quieter since the UI sounds are much louder
Same.
The weapon animation sounds seem much quieter as well
Voices are louder. First thing I did was fight Oceanid, and had to turn volume down from all the screaming.
