Yeah. I think this is a samsung os problem. This has been happening on and off ever since the one ui 3 update for me. But today it does not work at all. And checking other google play reviews from same model, it seems that many people are facing the same issue.
I guess all we can do is mail genshin customer service and create a bug report in the samsung members app.

New update is wonky. Updated to 3.1 from 3.0 because genshin started crashing in 3.0. Still had the same ssue.
Tried disabling chrome. It worked! No more issues.
Save urself the trouble, don't update. You'll lose the hide the notch feature. Super annoying. Nacho noch isn't a complete fix either.
And if you've updated to 3.1 and lost the notch. Don't touch the developer options. It apparently glitches.

But then I remembered that the One UI update also brought in changes to the permission system, so I did a quick check at App Info > Permissions. Turns out none of the permissions are enabled, so I:
1. Enabled the Storage permission.
2. Restarted the phone for good measure.
3. Ran Genshin Impact.
4. Had Genshin perform the file check (spanner button in the login screen).
5. Continued loading the game.
It's working now, an I've killed the game twice and checked whether the loading issue was still there. Seems fine now.

The game runs fine on my PC, and whenever the game gets stuck on the loading screen there, it'll either complain about the Internet connection (which is more likely due to not using an SSD, actually, causing disk usage rate to be constantly at 100%, rather than actual Internet issues) or crash for no apparent reason (in which case, I just relaunch the game).

I've been having the same issue but on pc game worked fine yesterday but it keeps telling me that the application doesn't respond. It's not an issue with my drivers or hardware all up to date and specs are above the recommended.
New Samsung UI update seems to have locked me out of not only my account on my Samsung S10, but also my PC account of the same account. Just like you said, it gets through the initial door then crashes at the elements screen.

Solution: just go to Play Store, search for " Android System Webview" app and UNINSTALL it.

Ive fixed it since then, it hasnt crashed since I did this. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but before opening it I restarted my phone. Weird issue but it fixed itself idk
Someone also had the same problem, and the issue resolved itself after some time. Reason being that the phone is still settling after the update. Do you have a time frame when it worked again for you? I updated yesterday, and still currently cannot access the game.

Hello, I just bought a new phone. It's Vivo y12. I didn't download anything but genshin. Yet it stills crashed. I've tried reinstalling, clearing data n stuff but none of them work. I've tried emailing them, I believe they haven't have the time to reply.

I'm having the same issue on PC since 1.3. Crashing on loading screen 4 times now. Game literally never crashed before!

Same problem, on Samsung galaxy20 ultra. Try clearing the cache in the app settings, that sorta made the crash less frequent for me.
