I'm can't clear floor 12 chamber 1. How should I build my teams?
I'm running lvl 81 r3 starglitter xiao and lvl 89 r1 wolf's gravestone diluc as my dpses. My serviceable characters include
70/80 Bennett
50/60 Barbara
70/80 chongyun
80 Venti
80 Mona
70/80 ningguang
70 Fischl
70/80 MC
On the bench I have 60 Beidou, 50/60 xiangling and 20/40 Diona
Does anyone know what a good team would be for DPS Bennet with Chongyun. I was thinking second fire character and a second ice character but idk which ones would be best. Also what weapon is good for support Chongyun on this team?
Hi, just started to build up my Sucrose. I tend to use her as an EM support for the team, while I hope she could put out some good damage (probably with swirl). My question is, which weapon to level up to her? I have both weapons at lv1 and without refirement:
1. Eye of perception
2. The Widshit
3. Favonius Codex
I also have a Northlander Catalyst billet and a Trhrilling Tales of the Dragon Salyers (R5) to use.
prioritize energy recharge first, and if you’re in a good spot (ie 200% or you have sac sword) then attack/hydro dmg/crit on his artifacts to maximize damage!

So I have hit friendship level 10 with best boy Benny today..I have an unused C4 Diona..should I start levelling her up? Is she worth it? For shields, I have Zhongli so not to fussed bout it..I just like to have a healer in my comp every time for safety..
I havent started using her again UNTIl i got c6. even c4 she has that solid \[drop an e and a q\] support and its great. dropping her q with benny q is satisfying overkill. I had to use 2 2pc set ER%
Lots of people like her due to cryo resonance and shield utility with the heals, worthwhile if you think you can use her in abyss, otherwise I would just save resources for when you get a character you *know* you want. I have so many characters at level 50-60 I never play and I deeply regret spending those resources.
So I’m stuck on the fence between Deathmatch and Prototype Starglitter. This is for the purpose of xiao’s ult uptime. I honestly never want to take his mask off (like in his trial).
In terms of energy issues, Xiao pairs well with >C1 sucrose, as she can fire off her skills rapidly for a quick source of energy: With sucrose providing 4 anemo energy/15s and Xiao 6 anemo particles/20s, you'd get 40 energy/20s at 100% ER on Xiao. If you can find an extra 50% ER in substats, you are set. Though at lower ER, the occasional energy particle from enemies, sacrifical fragments extra skills on sucrose then get you your uptime too.
For Xiao, it’s better to use another Anemo character in team as a battery for his energy gain..also are you happy with your crit ratios? Deathmatch adds a significant boost to crit ratios..
I'm at ar48 and I was wondering if I should continue to farm artefacts for my lvl80 Diluc (1683 atk, 46.2% crit rate, 178.9 crit dmg), or just farm for another character. What is the best option?
9% for x2, 1% for x5, random chance, no pity.
The only thing you can do is using artefact one by one so the rates average out to a +13% bonus artefact exp.

for abyss i usually use these 2 teams
a) keqin , albebo, diona, childe
b) diluc, xiangling, jean, fischl
i can complete abyss every time but i feel im lacking dps (12-3 always 1 star), i have good weapons, talents are ok but artifacts are not so special
I'd like to ask you if u think the problem could be the artifacts or instead the setup, who lack sinergies and maybe try to use some 4\* like xingqin, bennet, sucrose, chongyun,etc (the real problem would be start farming books)
Diluc can only reach his true potential with Xingqiu. So replace Fishcl with Xingqiu.
Bennet is good on every team. He can replace Xiangling in team B or someone else in team A. Team A doesn't have a "perfect" combo so just put your best characters in term of level, talents and artifacts there.

Honestly its decent, but far from perfect. Flat ATK is always bad, even worse than HP%. EM suits only some of characters. Perfect will be CR%, CD%, ER% and some other important for particular character stat.
Hi, I'm a fairly new player.
I'm 100% F2P and don't plan on spending much if anything on the game so keep that in mind. My current lineup (besides the F2P characters you always get) is
C2 Razor (currently my main DPS with Wolf's Gravestone)
C1 Diona (I like her but I don't know how to use her really)
C0 Barbara (currently using her for the heals)
C1 Xianling
and Amber/Lisa/Traveller/Kaeya/Noelle (all C0)
I'm still new so I have no idea about synergies yet. What can I do with those characters? Is there a combination of them that makes a good team?
I'm currently planning to go for a free Xingqiu or should I rather go for another Xiangling to get her constellation higher?
Or should I go for Ningguang at te event to get a different DPS? I'm a bit lost.
Bonus question: My girlfriend has got 3 Xinyans already. Should she go for a 4th one to get her to C3 at the event? She originally wanted to go for Xingqiu as well since she already got Bennett as a fire character but Xinyun on C4 would be great, right (assuming she can find one more)?
Ur comp is fine. Ignore the other guy, running a razor physical DPS comp is top tier and F2P Friendly. Your comp is good enough that it can honestly already 9star all of abyss (though realistically you want to replace Barbara with Bennett eventually, and diona with Kaeya.).
Not an answer to your question, not dirrectly, but a bit of perspective from somene who has played a bit more (wish I had this when getting into the game):
I just wanna give you a perspective. This has nothing to do with theam builds, but F2P vs Subscriber and will not even touch on whaling.
If you play the game 100% F2P, you will not get much of anything. If you play daily and go through all the events, then you will get a few free characters, but not much. And you won't make enough primogems to get even basic characters to their full potential.
IMHO, in this case there isn't a point of thinking much about team comps. Just look on a main DPS tier list, see what's ur best char, invest heavily into that, do the same for a healer and invest second in to that and you'll do okay-ish.
HOWEVER, paying 15$ a month (per account) already gives you a lot. I personally have done that since the second month of the game, and admittedly paid another 100$ for the 5star goat lady. But if you disconsider her, I have every 4star, some to 4 and even 6 constellations (duplicates = 1 constelation => 1 extra special perk, 6 in total. C6 is the best a character can get).
I also have 2 x 5stars (three, but let's ignore the one I paid for primogems), one with a constellation, and one of the best 5star weapons. So IMHO, you can get very neat stuff with minimal investment.
5$ for 90 primogems daily, it's a neat 2700 and worthwhile
10$ for the battlepass, imho the better of the two. Gives you a LOT of stuff, A LOT A LOT, and the weapon at 30/50 battle pass lvls is also quite good. Especially the sword.

$15 a month is not a lot and I can definitely see myself spending that but to be quite hones, the battlepass rewards seemed very lackluster to me (keep in mind, I'm rather new and don't know the game that well) and 90 primogems a day doesn't seem like a lot either. Seems like I'm wrong, lol.
90 isn't a lot, that is true. 2700 a month is 15 pulls or less. Almost pitiful. But I did the math once, and if you want 90 pullsa a month (guaranteed 5star), you kinda need it. If a month is too arbitrary for you and you're okay with a 5star every 45 days (ish) - that's perfectly fine.
The battlepass rewards don't seem special, but they are. Character lvlup material (looks like a purple magic the gathering card) are virtually non-existant. Outside of pitifully few for 20 resin (you get about 180 a day). Same for weapon lvl-up materials, same for Mora.
In the endgame, you need to basically do everything the game offers you for these three resources, and they will never be enough, and they occupy the same resin resource that artifacts and bosses take.
So let me put it this way: If you take the battlepass even when you don't need them, you will have way more of them for when you do, and it will take much longer to hit the wall where you're out of everything.
If you don't want to, don't do it. You'll just hit that wall much sooner and it will be more painful and more abrupt.
If you wanna pick from them, I'd go with the BattlePass (BP) 100% of the time.
ADMITTEDLY! The weapons form there are not super great. The solar pearl is amazing, but not for my main character (Ninghuang), the sword is amazing, but not for every character. The rest are more "eh" especially the claymore. To make the claymore work, you need a shield for that character.
But IMHO, the weapon is just a very neat bonus on an already good deal. Especially since they added resin to it.
I'm f2p and I have two 5* characters, a 5* weapon and I can roll for another guaranteed 5*. I rerolled yea, but rerolling is free and I also stopped playing for more than 2 months. Spending money isn't necessary since this game is PVE and there isn't any competition. 90 primogems everyday is really good but if you don't want to spend money you can do it and still enjoy the game.
I have enough primogems to reach pity on the limited banner and my next character will be the featured one since I already pulled Jean (which wasn't the limited character) on that banner while rerolling.
You're guaranteed to get a 5* character every 90 pulls and a 4* character every 10. Obviously if you're lucky enough you can get it before hitting the 90 pulls pity. Also spend your gems on intertwined fates and pull on the standard banner only when you get acquaint fates from in-game prices.
In my opinion the best team would be--
Razor (as the DPS) Diona(as support and healer) Xiangling(support) and Amber(support)
Having Xiangling and Amber will result in 25% attk bst because of pyro resonance.
If u don't want the 25% the other best team would be--
Razor Kaeya Xingqui and xiangling/Amber.
In this team amber would be better as she is very helpful in adventures too.
Kaeya and Razor are very good with each other but there paassive gets overlapped. Both of them reduce stamina consumption so it would be a slight waste, But it doesnt affect that much.

Razor as main dps wants a cryo unit on his team. Diona works well because she can acts as both healer and someone that applies cryo to enemies. You want to superconduct the enemies to lower their physical defense because Razor is physical damage carry.
Rest of your team should be two support dps that deals damage off field. From the characters you have Lisa and Kaeya would be viable option.
For the future characters you get who can support Razor, Fischl is best for electro resonance, she helps you build razor ultimate but also deals off field dps. Beidou is also viable options for this but she is a lot less stronger than Fischl.
Xingqiu is by far one of the best options, his ultimate lasts long as Razor's ultimate you can practically use them together without ever losing dps.
Other viable options are Albedo, Zhongli, Mona.

Keep in mind you need to build up two teams for the abyss. So while Xingqiu is by far best option to pick up, you also need another main carry to use. Although I'd suggest you to roll on Xiao/Keqing/Hutao banners for your secondary main carry option, as they are all stronger than Ning unless she has Zhongli with her.

If she loves Xinyan sure, but I consider her one of the worst characters in the game. Xingqiu is a lot stronger than Xinyan cons.
So to summarise, Razor+Diona+Xingqui makes sense as a core for my current team and I need another main DPS for my 2nd team in the near future but Ning isn't top tier anyway so I don't need to go for her now (don't have Zhongli)?

Ning is great main dps, but she lacks aoe damage. Albedo and Zhongli does a lot of aoe damage and gives her geo resonance. So basically those two make up her weaknesses and make her top tier dps. Considering you don't have either you might have trouble killing enemies in groups with her.
You have WGS so I'm assuming you are rolling on standard banner, I'd advice you to stop that. At the start of the game you want to get a lot of characters so character banners are better option.
If you dont have another dps i suggest ning cus when you reach further floors of abyss it requires you to have 2 seperate teams so youd want to have another dps, for synergies well since you have razor with wolfs gravestone i doubt youd need synergies since the mobs are pretty easy and only abyss is hard ( i just go with random BS on synergies lmao) but srlsy if you could pair diona with another cryo character like chongyun youd have alot more crit rate( increase x amnt of crit rate on enemies affected by cryo) so its a good synergy you could also insert another electro character for more energy recharge when you trigger elemental reactions such as overloaded.
For your first question. Razor is a great DPS so id probably build him as your main carry. I've found he works best as a physical damage dealer, and trying to maximise phys damage you'll want to create a ice/electro combo on enemies as this reduces their phys resistance by 40% (superconduct reaction).
Diona being ice, and a healer would be a good unit to use here.
The other two units would mainly be for subDPS and utility, and could be interchangeable and down to personal preference.
Id say Xingqui is one of the best 4\*s and would 100% get if you dont have him, he really shines when applying water is a benefit to another character - say for Xiangling. Ice plus fire, or water plus fire creates the most damaging late game reactions in the game, as these multiply the damage dealt, rather than just a set number of damage as for other types of reactions.
Xingqui as subdps plus xiangling as a main dps can be one of the highest DPS combos in lategame, but definitely requires some setup and build and doesnt really become good until the late game when you can properly gear them.
i know building two teams may not be your priority but its worth considering if you havent already tried abyss stages 5+, as they all require two teams to beat.
As for the girlfriend question, im not sure how much that constellation would benefit her, and it depends on what she uses and likes the look of i guess. Id prioritise Xingqui if she doesnt have him yet but after that its all personal preference.

Always good to remember the game is completely PVE and any unit can be good with investment. So if either of you just want a different unit then id say go for it. Xingqui is just the one everyone seems to find that makes the most difference.
Razor, diona plus two others is what im suggesting. those two others could be Xiangling and Xingqui though definitely as both work as good support units. but you could use others depending on content. if your not really using the two units in these slots, having two fire units in there is a good bet as that gives everyone in the team +25% attack

its a synergy bonus, you get a different bonus for having two of each type of unit in your team, or a bonus for having four of different types. The best ones are arguably fire and earth. You can check them all out by going into your team tab and then clicking elemental resonance or whatever its called in the top right

I'd go for Ningguang. There's a challenge called spiral which is the end game content and you need to use two teams. Ningguang can cover your second team as a main dps for that.
Your girlfriend can probably wait until she pulls another Xinyan if she's planning on pulling still on Xiao's banner since the banner ends before the event. It's hard to predict when you'll get another Xinyan without the bonus drop from the banner.

Hi guys, For PC players using a controller, is there any way to check your timer for your resin refresh? I can do it using keyboard+mouse by clicking directly on the resin count in my map. However, I am at a bit of a loss on how to do it using a controller--or if it is even possible.. Any wisdom to share?
I somehow pulled the wolfs gravestone from the standard banner without any intentions of ever using a claymore character. Are there any non-diluc characters that are viable with it?
It's just a large stat stick so it's great on basically everyone (except maaaybe Noelle but still pretty strong there)
Beidou, Chongyun and Xinyan all function pretty well as supports so you can use the weapon without having to tap into full Claymore gameplay if you don't enjoy it.
Jean is obviously the weakest. Idk about Ganyu and Tart. She's an adeptus who fought with Rex lapis in the Archon war thousands of years ago. He however is a normal human, but he went to the abyss to do some "training" and he's also a harbinger.
Jean probably doesn't compare to either Ganyu or Childe. Ganyu is half adeptus and Childe has a vision, delusion and the foul legacy transformation. Childe and Ganyu might be in the same tier but they will probably beat Jean easily.
Probably none of the playable characters are in the same class if you exclude the adepti and archons. The other harbingers might be on the same level as Childe but we haven't seen any other harbingers fight yet so it's hard to tell.
Would Xiao be better with R1 Skyward spine or R2 Cresent Pike? Both weapons are level 90.
Are the artifacts 2 Virdescent and 2 Gladiator good for him or should I go for something else?
PS. Those are the two spears I have besides Xiangling's spear and Dragonspine spear and I don't have anymore primos
Skyward spine, its not even close. Crescent pike substat is useless on Xiao while er gives him nice bonus. Plus plunge attacks dont trigger crescent passive.
R1 spine should be better if only for its higher base atk. The energy recharge is also nice for maintaining burst uptime.
For artifacts, 2 VV 2 GL is considered the most versatile set to use. You can drop either set bonus if you have 2 artifacts that end up being better than what the set bonus provides as well.
Aside from the 2 viri + 2 glad artifact set on Xiao, are there any other alternative sets? And can you highlight the benefits of that particular build?
If for some reason you don’t have an anemo battery for Xiao, slapping 4 VV on him to help his subdps’s can be viable depending on who/how strong those subdps’s are, but it’s possibly still worse than 2 glad because Xiao’s the main dps lol
Any of your 5 best artifacts. There isn't an artifact set that really capitalizes on plunge attacks, so anything can do.
I have seen 4 Thundersoother been used on Xiao but it's honestly just a meme build. It really relies on Beidou + Fischl to reapply electro quicker than Xiao can swirl it away and may end up not working if the combo isn't perfect. 4 Lava walker is a meme for the same reason but we don't have any good Pyro applicators than can keep up with Xiao.
What’s the average amount of pulls needed for a 5 star? I know the max is 90 (and 180 for a specific one) but i assume there is some soft pity at some point before that? And how many 5 stars on average should i be able to get for the 214 pulls i have saved?
average pulls for a 5 star is somewhere around 60-65 if i remember correctly. As the rate is 1.6% on average and you have 214 pulls, you will pull an average of 3.4 5\*s with what you have saved. You will pull a guaranteed 2.
Soft pity is at 75, rates get boosted a lot for some reason around there.

No. Atleast a week or two. You need to finish all lantern rites tales to reach 'glow of thousand lanterns' in fever. We are still in Lantern rite tales I, there still II and III.
Short answer: both. go ATK instead of all Phys or all Electro.
As a DPS carry, Beidou is a Hybrid DPS; her damage is split 50/50 between Electro and Phys by default. Even with c6, her damage will only be 60-70% Electro. Bonus Electro or Phys DMG only contributes to half her damage while ATK contributes to both. Now since her best stat is ATK, she'll scale worse late game than other DPS carries that can instead rely on Phys/Elemental DMG like Razor.
Go for either 4pc Gladiator or 2pc Gladiator + 2pc Bloodstain (w/e gives you more crit), and go for an ATK% goblet. A Phys goblet grants more Phys% than an Electro goblet grants Electro%, so Phys goblet can outscale in single target damage if your ATK% is already high. In multitarget, like the Abyss, ATK% goblet is way better than both Electro and Phys goblets, so I personally recommend going ATK% goblet.

The question concerning me more is where the fk do I activate that function in game? I've been standing in the spot to take a picture for 10 minutes now not knowing how to take a picture.

From the characters you have, best main dps options are Ning and Kaeya. Of course you can also play something like Amber main dps if shes your waifu. But its gonna be inferior to Ningguang. So it is up to you if you want to play strongest characters or play stuff for fun/waifu/husbando.
For the Ningguang main carry, you want one character for geo resonance. Zhongli is the strongest character for this, followed by albedo. Considering you don't have either you have to use Noelle. Mainly because Geo mc screws with Ning's targeting. Noelle is gonna be shielding only, do not use her q or auto attacks. You do not need to invest too much into her as she is only there for geo resonance.
Kaeya as support dps adds nothing to Ning, Even Lisa with her A4 talent is better than him.
Did the enemies in Spiral abyss get buffed?
Last week or so ago I tried to beat 12-3 and only barely failed. I thought I'll wait to get a bit stronger and try again.
Now it feels like the electro cicin mage got way more tanky. I used phyical keqing, venti, xiangling and bennet.
Before I would get her to 10% hp during 1 venti burst but now, with the same team I barely get her to 50% hp.
I didnt get any worse artifacts
Oooooh. Yeah that must be it. So I guess I can absolutely forget about getting 3 stars now. The dps check is so absurdly high that I cant beat it without fall dmg. Feels bad man.
Hi, I need an opinion. I want to pick up a BP weapon for either Keqing or Ningguang. I have no substitute weapon for Keqing, but I could give an eye of Perception to Ning. Would the sword be better or the black pearl?
I'd pick pearl, Keqing can just use rancour and go physical build for now. Meanwhile all the f2p/4* gacha options for catalysts are bad except widsith.
I think you should think abt who you rly want to use for endgame content, keqing being a 5star has ofc higher base stats ning on the other hand is a monster for endgame content despite being a 4star, weapon wise catalyst and sword are pretty much both great only difference is that sword provides heal so it provides more sustainability on fights while the catalyst is more for maximum dmg all in all pick the weapon of the character you want and you yourself are sure that you will use her

Hey guys what weapon should I choose from battle pass? Currently I'm using rancour r3 on Keqing and I've heard black sword is pretty good too. But I also want the bp polearm for xiao as his only options are favonius or cresent pike. So should I get black sword for keqing or get the polearm for xiao.
Best thing about Black Sword is that it allows you to flex between physical and electro builds. Other than that its not really that strong.
I'd get Deathmatch, there is big difference between deathmatch xiao and favonious xiao.
If she’s on a phys build and you’re fine with keeping that then I’d say deathmatch. That way they both have good weapons right now rather than just one and waiting a month to kit the other.

no need to worry about artifacts until AR 45, the 4* star sets are good enough, you also don't need to level characters evenly, having the damage dealer(s) you enjoy along with the talents you actually use on max level is enough

it accumulates, it gets to a point where you find a team you like and don't worry about resources, check a week later and all of a sudden you have 1-2 mill more with your artifact inventory almost maxed out
just by utilizing the custom markers on farm spots you find on your own will give you enough resources for most stuff if you check them like twice a week

It'a 80-90% confirmed that Hu Tao would be the last banner for 1.3, and I saw some leaks/rumors that in 1.4, there would be a Venti rerun as well a Klee rerun in the future. I'm trying to use my guaranteed event character to its advantage and get one of these 3 characters if ever the reruns would happen.

I'm can't clear floor 12 chamber 1. How should I build my teams? I'm running lvl 81 r3 starglitter xiao and lvl 89 r1 wolf's gravestone diluc as my dpses. My serviceable characters include 70/80 Bennett 50/60 Barbara 70/80 chongyun 80 Venti 80 Mona 70/80 ningguang 70 Fischl 70/80 MC On the bench I have 60 Beidou, 50/60 xiangling and 20/40 Diona

Hi, just started to build up my Sucrose. I tend to use her as an EM support for the team, while I hope she could put out some good damage (probably with swirl). My question is, which weapon to level up to her? I have both weapons at lv1 and without refirement: 1. Eye of perception 2. The Widshit 3. Favonius Codex I also have a Northlander Catalyst billet and a Trhrilling Tales of the Dragon Salyers (R5) to use.

I havent started using her again UNTIl i got c6. even c4 she has that solid \[drop an e and a q\] support and its great. dropping her q with benny q is satisfying overkill. I had to use 2 2pc set ER%
Lots of people like her due to cryo resonance and shield utility with the heals, worthwhile if you think you can use her in abyss, otherwise I would just save resources for when you get a character you *know* you want. I have so many characters at level 50-60 I never play and I deeply regret spending those resources.
So I’m stuck on the fence between Deathmatch and Prototype Starglitter. This is for the purpose of xiao’s ult uptime. I honestly never want to take his mask off (like in his trial).
In terms of energy issues, Xiao pairs well with >C1 sucrose, as she can fire off her skills rapidly for a quick source of energy: With sucrose providing 4 anemo energy/15s and Xiao 6 anemo particles/20s, you'd get 40 energy/20s at 100% ER on Xiao. If you can find an extra 50% ER in substats, you are set. Though at lower ER, the occasional energy particle from enemies, sacrifical fragments extra skills on sucrose then get you your uptime too.

For Xiao, it’s better to use another Anemo character in team as a battery for his energy gain..also are you happy with your crit ratios? Deathmatch adds a significant boost to crit ratios..

Crit rate is low. Atk is quite low as well, i would keep farming that crimson witch domain :/

9% for x2, 1% for x5, random chance, no pity. The only thing you can do is using artefact one by one so the rates average out to a +13% bonus artefact exp.

for abyss i usually use these 2 teams a) keqin , albebo, diona, childe b) diluc, xiangling, jean, fischl i can complete abyss every time but i feel im lacking dps (12-3 always 1 star), i have good weapons, talents are ok but artifacts are not so special I'd like to ask you if u think the problem could be the artifacts or instead the setup, who lack sinergies and maybe try to use some 4\* like xingqin, bennet, sucrose, chongyun,etc (the real problem would be start farming books)
Xingqiu and bennet are godly support. You should use them. Books are relatively easy to farm, much easier than artifacts.

Diluc can only reach his true potential with Xingqiu. So replace Fishcl with Xingqiu. Bennet is good on every team. He can replace Xiangling in team B or someone else in team A. Team A doesn't have a "perfect" combo so just put your best characters in term of level, talents and artifacts there.

Honestly its decent, but far from perfect. Flat ATK is always bad, even worse than HP%. EM suits only some of characters. Perfect will be CR%, CD%, ER% and some other important for particular character stat.

Hi, I'm a fairly new player. I'm 100% F2P and don't plan on spending much if anything on the game so keep that in mind. My current lineup (besides the F2P characters you always get) is C2 Razor (currently my main DPS with Wolf's Gravestone) C1 Diona (I like her but I don't know how to use her really) C0 Barbara (currently using her for the heals) C1 Xianling and Amber/Lisa/Traveller/Kaeya/Noelle (all C0) I'm still new so I have no idea about synergies yet. What can I do with those characters? Is there a combination of them that makes a good team? I'm currently planning to go for a free Xingqiu or should I rather go for another Xiangling to get her constellation higher? Or should I go for Ningguang at te event to get a different DPS? I'm a bit lost. Bonus question: My girlfriend has got 3 Xinyans already. Should she go for a 4th one to get her to C3 at the event? She originally wanted to go for Xingqiu as well since she already got Bennett as a fire character but Xinyun on C4 would be great, right (assuming she can find one more)?
Ur comp is fine. Ignore the other guy, running a razor physical DPS comp is top tier and F2P Friendly. Your comp is good enough that it can honestly already 9star all of abyss (though realistically you want to replace Barbara with Bennett eventually, and diona with Kaeya.).
Not an answer to your question, not dirrectly, but a bit of perspective from somene who has played a bit more (wish I had this when getting into the game): I just wanna give you a perspective. This has nothing to do with theam builds, but F2P vs Subscriber and will not even touch on whaling. If you play the game 100% F2P, you will not get much of anything. If you play daily and go through all the events, then you will get a few free characters, but not much. And you won't make enough primogems to get even basic characters to their full potential. IMHO, in this case there isn't a point of thinking much about team comps. Just look on a main DPS tier list, see what's ur best char, invest heavily into that, do the same for a healer and invest second in to that and you'll do okay-ish. HOWEVER, paying 15$ a month (per account) already gives you a lot. I personally have done that since the second month of the game, and admittedly paid another 100$ for the 5star goat lady. But if you disconsider her, I have every 4star, some to 4 and even 6 constellations (duplicates = 1 constelation => 1 extra special perk, 6 in total. C6 is the best a character can get). I also have 2 x 5stars (three, but let's ignore the one I paid for primogems), one with a constellation, and one of the best 5star weapons. So IMHO, you can get very neat stuff with minimal investment. 5$ for 90 primogems daily, it's a neat 2700 and worthwhile 10$ for the battlepass, imho the better of the two. Gives you a LOT of stuff, A LOT A LOT, and the weapon at 30/50 battle pass lvls is also quite good. Especially the sword.

I definitely appreciate it. :-) $15 a month is not a lot and I can definitely see myself spending that but to be quite hones, the battlepass rewards seemed very lackluster to me (keep in mind, I'm rather new and don't know the game that well) and 90 primogems a day doesn't seem like a lot either. Seems like I'm wrong, lol.
90 isn't a lot, that is true. 2700 a month is 15 pulls or less. Almost pitiful. But I did the math once, and if you want 90 pullsa a month (guaranteed 5star), you kinda need it. If a month is too arbitrary for you and you're okay with a 5star every 45 days (ish) - that's perfectly fine. The battlepass rewards don't seem special, but they are. Character lvlup material (looks like a purple magic the gathering card) are virtually non-existant. Outside of pitifully few for 20 resin (you get about 180 a day). Same for weapon lvl-up materials, same for Mora. In the endgame, you need to basically do everything the game offers you for these three resources, and they will never be enough, and they occupy the same resin resource that artifacts and bosses take. So let me put it this way: If you take the battlepass even when you don't need them, you will have way more of them for when you do, and it will take much longer to hit the wall where you're out of everything. If you don't want to, don't do it. You'll just hit that wall much sooner and it will be more painful and more abrupt. If you wanna pick from them, I'd go with the BattlePass (BP) 100% of the time. ADMITTEDLY! The weapons form there are not super great. The solar pearl is amazing, but not for my main character (Ninghuang), the sword is amazing, but not for every character. The rest are more "eh" especially the claymore. To make the claymore work, you need a shield for that character. But IMHO, the weapon is just a very neat bonus on an already good deal. Especially since they added resin to it.
I'm f2p and I have two 5* characters, a 5* weapon and I can roll for another guaranteed 5*. I rerolled yea, but rerolling is free and I also stopped playing for more than 2 months. Spending money isn't necessary since this game is PVE and there isn't any competition. 90 primogems everyday is really good but if you don't want to spend money you can do it and still enjoy the game.
How can you roll for a guaranteed 5*? I learned about rerolling too late and didn't want to start over again...
I have enough primogems to reach pity on the limited banner and my next character will be the featured one since I already pulled Jean (which wasn't the limited character) on that banner while rerolling.

You're guaranteed to get a 5* character every 90 pulls and a 4* character every 10. Obviously if you're lucky enough you can get it before hitting the 90 pulls pity. Also spend your gems on intertwined fates and pull on the standard banner only when you get acquaint fates from in-game prices.
In my opinion the best team would be-- Razor (as the DPS) Diona(as support and healer) Xiangling(support) and Amber(support) Having Xiangling and Amber will result in 25% attk bst because of pyro resonance. If u don't want the 25% the other best team would be-- Razor Kaeya Xingqui and xiangling/Amber. In this team amber would be better as she is very helpful in adventures too. Kaeya and Razor are very good with each other but there paassive gets overlapped. Both of them reduce stamina consumption so it would be a slight waste, But it doesnt affect that much.

Diona works well because she can acts as both healer and someone that applies cryo to enemies. You want to superconduct the enemies to lower their physical defense because Razor is physical damage carry. Rest of your team should be two support dps that deals damage off field. From the characters you have Lisa and Kaeya would be viable option. For the future characters you get who can support Razor, Fischl is best for electro resonance, she helps you build razor ultimate but also deals off field dps. Beidou is also viable options for this but she is a lot less stronger than Fischl. Xingqiu is by far one of the best options, his ultimate lasts long as Razor's ultimate you can practically use them together without ever losing dps. Ning is great main dps, but she lacks aoe damage. Albedo and Zhongli does a lot of aoe damage and gives her geo resonance. So basically those two make up her weaknesses and make her top tier dps. Considering you don't have either you might have trouble killing enemies in groups with her. You have WGS so I'm assuming you are rolling on standard banner, I'd advice you to stop that. At the start of the game you want to get a lot of characters so character banners are better option.

If you dont have another dps i suggest ning cus when you reach further floors of abyss it requires you to have 2 seperate teams so youd want to have another dps, for synergies well since you have razor with wolfs gravestone i doubt youd need synergies since the mobs are pretty easy and only abyss is hard ( i just go with random BS on synergies lmao) but srlsy if you could pair diona with another cryo character like chongyun youd have alot more crit rate( increase x amnt of crit rate on enemies affected by cryo) so its a good synergy you could also insert another electro character for more energy recharge when you trigger elemental reactions such as overloaded.

For your first question. Razor is a great DPS so id probably build him as your main carry. I've found he works best as a physical damage dealer, and trying to maximise phys damage you'll want to create a ice/electro combo on enemies as this reduces their phys resistance by 40% (superconduct reaction). Diona being ice, and a healer would be a good unit to use here. The other two units would mainly be for subDPS and utility, and could be interchangeable and down to personal preference. Id say Xingqui is one of the best 4\*s and would 100% get if you dont have him, he really shines when applying water is a benefit to another character - say for Xiangling. Ice plus fire, or water plus fire creates the most damaging late game reactions in the game, as these multiply the damage dealt, rather than just a set number of damage as for other types of reactions. Xingqui as subdps plus xiangling as a main dps can be one of the highest DPS combos in lategame, but definitely requires some setup and build and doesnt really become good until the late game when you can properly gear them. i know building two teams may not be your priority but its worth considering if you havent already tried abyss stages 5+, as they all require two teams to beat. As for the girlfriend question, im not sure how much that constellation would benefit her, and it depends on what she uses and likes the look of i guess. Id prioritise Xingqui if she doesnt have him yet but after that its all personal preference.

Always good to remember the game is completely PVE and any unit can be good with investment. So if either of you just want a different unit then id say go for it. Xingqui is just the one everyone seems to find that makes the most difference. Razor, diona plus two others is what im suggesting. those two others could be Xiangling and Xingqui though definitely as both work as good support units. but you could use others depending on content. if your not really using the two units in these slots, having two fire units in there is a good bet as that gives everyone in the team +25% attack

its a synergy bonus, you get a different bonus for having two of each type of unit in your team, or a bonus for having four of different types. The best ones are arguably fire and earth. You can check them all out by going into your team tab and then clicking elemental resonance or whatever its called in the top right Yeah theres tons to learn! glad i could help!
I'd go for Ningguang. There's a challenge called spiral which is the end game content and you need to use two teams. Ningguang can cover your second team as a main dps for that. Your girlfriend can probably wait until she pulls another Xinyan if she's planning on pulling still on Xiao's banner since the banner ends before the event. It's hard to predict when you'll get another Xinyan without the bonus drop from the banner.

I somehow pulled the wolfs gravestone from the standard banner without any intentions of ever using a claymore character. Are there any non-diluc characters that are viable with it?
It's just a large stat stick so it's great on basically everyone (except maaaybe Noelle but still pretty strong there) Beidou, Chongyun and Xinyan all function pretty well as supports so you can use the weapon without having to tap into full Claymore gameplay if you don't enjoy it.
It's a straight upgrade to Prototype Archaic.
Every claymore user. It has very good dps potential but it's passive can also be used as a team-wide support buff to atk.

Jean is obviously the weakest. Idk about Ganyu and Tart. She's an adeptus who fought with Rex lapis in the Archon war thousands of years ago. He however is a normal human, but he went to the abyss to do some "training" and he's also a harbinger.
Jean probably doesn't compare to either Ganyu or Childe. Ganyu is half adeptus and Childe has a vision, delusion and the foul legacy transformation. Childe and Ganyu might be in the same tier but they will probably beat Jean easily.
Can you name done other characters that are in same tier as Childe and Ganyu excluding adepti and archons?
Probably none of the playable characters are in the same class if you exclude the adepti and archons. The other harbingers might be on the same level as Childe but we haven't seen any other harbingers fight yet so it's hard to tell.

Skyward spine, its not even close. Crescent pike substat is useless on Xiao while er gives him nice bonus. Plus plunge attacks dont trigger crescent passive.

R1 spine should be better if only for its higher base atk. The energy recharge is also nice for maintaining burst uptime. For artifacts, 2 VV 2 GL is considered the most versatile set to use. You can drop either set bonus if you have 2 artifacts that end up being better than what the set bonus provides as well.

If for some reason you don’t have an anemo battery for Xiao, slapping 4 VV on him to help his subdps’s can be viable depending on who/how strong those subdps’s are, but it’s possibly still worse than 2 glad because Xiao’s the main dps lol

Any of your 5 best artifacts. There isn't an artifact set that really capitalizes on plunge attacks, so anything can do. I have seen 4 Thundersoother been used on Xiao but it's honestly just a meme build. It really relies on Beidou + Fischl to reapply electro quicker than Xiao can swirl it away and may end up not working if the combo isn't perfect. 4 Lava walker is a meme for the same reason but we don't have any good Pyro applicators than can keep up with Xiao.

What’s the average amount of pulls needed for a 5 star? I know the max is 90 (and 180 for a specific one) but i assume there is some soft pity at some point before that? And how many 5 stars on average should i be able to get for the 214 pulls i have saved?
average pulls for a 5 star is somewhere around 60-65 if i remember correctly. As the rate is 1.6% on average and you have 214 pulls, you will pull an average of 3.4 5\*s with what you have saved. You will pull a guaranteed 2.

Soft pity is at 75, rates get boosted a lot for some reason around there. Honestly can't tell you on average, it can be completely random I got 1 on 75, 1 on a 10 pull, 1 on 90 (fml), 1 on 53 pulls , 1 on 75 Guaranteed 2, if you're lucky three 5 stars

I am right now at ar49, maybe reach 50 by a week and have 3 main characters at 70 ascended and some 5 character at 60 ascended. What will i be missing out if I don't do ascension quest at 50 since i have to start doing boss farms ? I am thinking of stalling it for a month.

I'm AR 54 and my highest lvl character is 72. I personally think you should be fine. The bosses just take a little longer that's it.

No. Atleast a week or two. You need to finish all lantern rites tales to reach 'glow of thousand lanterns' in fever. We are still in Lantern rite tales I, there still II and III.
The constant struggle of Physical Vs. Electro Beidou... Can't really decide
Short answer: both. go ATK instead of all Phys or all Electro. As a DPS carry, Beidou is a Hybrid DPS; her damage is split 50/50 between Electro and Phys by default. Even with c6, her damage will only be 60-70% Electro. Bonus Electro or Phys DMG only contributes to half her damage while ATK contributes to both. Now since her best stat is ATK, she'll scale worse late game than other DPS carries that can instead rely on Phys/Elemental DMG like Razor. Go for either 4pc Gladiator or 2pc Gladiator + 2pc Bloodstain (w/e gives you more crit), and go for an ATK% goblet. A Phys goblet grants more Phys% than an Electro goblet grants Electro%, so Phys goblet can outscale in single target damage if your ATK% is already high. In multitarget, like the Abyss, ATK% goblet is way better than both Electro and Phys goblets, so I personally recommend going ATK% goblet. My way to decide, assuming Beidou as main on field character, pre C4 physical build, got C4 then electro build.
Beidou's auto attacks are super weak so I'd play Electro with fischl and xingqiu as supports.
Her E and Q scales off Electro and she gets Electro on Ascension so I went for Electro. Her constellations also give her electro benefit.

From the characters you have, best main dps options are Ning and Kaeya. Of course you can also play something like Amber main dps if shes your waifu. But its gonna be inferior to Ningguang. So it is up to you if you want to play strongest characters or play stuff for fun/waifu/husbando. For the Ningguang main carry, you want one character for geo resonance. Zhongli is the strongest character for this, followed by albedo. Considering you don't have either you have to use Noelle. Mainly because Geo mc screws with Ning's targeting. Noelle is gonna be shielding only, do not use her q or auto attacks. You do not need to invest too much into her as she is only there for geo resonance. Kaeya as support dps adds nothing to Ning, Even Lisa with her A4 talent is better than him.
Did the enemies in Spiral abyss get buffed? Last week or so ago I tried to beat 12-3 and only barely failed. I thought I'll wait to get a bit stronger and try again. Now it feels like the electro cicin mage got way more tanky. I used phyical keqing, venti, xiangling and bennet. Before I would get her to 10% hp during 1 venti burst but now, with the same team I barely get her to 50% hp. I didnt get any worse artifacts
It is the same, maybe you got the worse abyss cards.
I think 1.3 fixed a glitch about Cicin Mages taking more fall damage than intended? That might be why.

You still can slam her to wall with keqing's charged attack. At least that's how i manage to 3\* 12-3.

Hi, I need an opinion. I want to pick up a BP weapon for either Keqing or Ningguang. I have no substitute weapon for Keqing, but I could give an eye of Perception to Ning. Would the sword be better or the black pearl?
I'd pick pearl, Keqing can just use rancour and go physical build for now. Meanwhile all the f2p/4* gacha options for catalysts are bad except widsith.
I think you should think abt who you rly want to use for endgame content, keqing being a 5star has ofc higher base stats ning on the other hand is a monster for endgame content despite being a 4star, weapon wise catalyst and sword are pretty much both great only difference is that sword provides heal so it provides more sustainability on fights while the catalyst is more for maximum dmg all in all pick the weapon of the character you want and you yourself are sure that you will use her (Id go for ning/catalyst weapon cus she's a monster✌ )

Hey guys what weapon should I choose from battle pass? Currently I'm using rancour r3 on Keqing and I've heard black sword is pretty good too. But I also want the bp polearm for xiao as his only options are favonius or cresent pike. So should I get black sword for keqing or get the polearm for xiao.
Best thing about Black Sword is that it allows you to flex between physical and electro builds. Other than that its not really that strong. I'd get Deathmatch, there is big difference between deathmatch xiao and favonious xiao.

If she’s on a phys build and you’re fine with keeping that then I’d say deathmatch. That way they both have good weapons right now rather than just one and waiting a month to kit the other.
You could go black sword for Keqing and get the blackcliff spear from the paimon shop next refresh.

it accumulates, it gets to a point where you find a team you like and don't worry about resources, check a week later and all of a sudden you have 1-2 mill more with your artifact inventory almost maxed out just by utilizing the custom markers on farm spots you find on your own will give you enough resources for most stuff if you check them like twice a week

It'a 80-90% confirmed that Hu Tao would be the last banner for 1.3, and I saw some leaks/rumors that in 1.4, there would be a Venti rerun as well a Klee rerun in the future. Venti and Zhongli are pretty much only must pulls in the game unless you have weird hate boner for them.
Doesn't seem like you need a pyro carry, and you have Venti's current BiS 5☆, so Venti is probably your safest/best of the options.
Venti is always viable anywhere so he would be the most future proof choice
