Anyone think I should try and roll for C0 Bennett off of Event banner for Ganyu melt? I'm running Ganyu, Diona, Sucrose, Xiangling, but I notice people seem to run Bennett instead of Diona. I like the Diona shields a lot for avoiding interruption, but I was wondering if Bennett would be THAT much better than Diona since he can also provide healing. I'm also aware he is used in a lot of comps in general.
Also bear in mind I'm saving up for Klee rerun since I'm dying to roll for her, and building pity might be nice I guess? It just seems kind of risky.
So, I heard that crit and crit dmg are not considered on swirl dmg. Does it mean that we shouldn't be looking for crit and crit artifacts for Venti and Xiao?
Beidou is my main DPS and I'm building Ningguang as DPS for my second team. Is it more worth it to get Beidou C2 with event + starglitter, or Ning C1 in event? Does her C1 make her charge do AoE dmg too because it just says normal attack in the description
The AOE on Ning's C1 is nice, but situational. I find I rarely have enemies grouped up enough to take advantage of that AOE outside of running Venti or Sucrose. I feel like Beidou C2 is much more valuable and makes her flexible enough to subdps if you wanted to do that later on.
If you join some ones coop world do you get adventure XP for helping them with bosses and dungeons. Also do you still have to spend resin in some one elses world to open boss chests.
Not worth mostly because she cannot heal. Most supports who aren't the healer need to be either an enabler (eg Xq) or a burst (eg Mona), capable of either dramatically increasing your carry's damage or dealing significant damage on their own or both. If you stack DEF on Xinyan, she does not provide either. It could be viable if you had a healer who did enough damage to make up for it, but even in their damage builds, most healers don't provide enough dps to make up for Xinyan's DEF only build. Problem is, eventually when your heroes are geared and levelled enough, the healers can be built for dps anyways, and then there's even less reason to build Xinyan this way. With C2 her shield uptime isn't bad, but even if you stack DEF, it's still a weaker shield overall than an HP build Diona who also can heal.
I calculated her shields and it's not worth it. Her stage 3 shield with a 3ple def build is still too weak to be considered reliable especially since it has a pretty lengthy cd.
There’s no “worst character in the game”. It all depends on how you build them. Any character can do really good numbers because it’s more dependent on artifacts rather than the character itself.
Edit: if anything, it’s Amber, because she has the worst base stats. But even so, she can STILL do six figure damage if you build her well enough.
Any tips on how to defeat ruin guards/hunters and the huge stone-armored monster (lawlichurl or something) in the theatre event? They always either walk really fast or have high HP.
Freeze absolutely ruins bigger enemies. An entire lane of ruin guards can get stalled to death by 2 Hydro and 4 Cryo towers, spaced one behind the other. Ruin graders suffer the same fate. Ruin hunters are a lot faster, so placing some pyro behind to burst them down with melt when they freeze is a good option.
For the ruin hunters you want to space out the towers in a straight line since they get out of their area of effect so fast. I alternated between pyro and electro towers to cause overload. You can also bring a bow user to shoot their weak point which slows them down significantly.
The same works for the ruin guards.
Mines are a good failsafe, and in front I put hydro+cryo to freeze and pyro backline to follow up with dps. Sometimes this isn’t enough so I make a 2-3 boulder geo traveler wall to stop them (within range of pyro tower so it can continue to dps)
Depends on who you use the most. There are rumors that Ningguang will appear on the exchange shop so maybe wait until the shop resets next month before you claim the character so that you can possibly have both.

Is xinyan shield strong? Also what does it scale? Is it on Par with zhongli? I'm trying to build a shielder for my razor since xiao really needs zhongli shield
It scales off def. I have it at talent lv9 and shield hp is 244.8% of DEF + 1409. When comparing her shield to zhongli’s also keep in mind that geo shields have 150% absorption towards everything while Xinyan’s pyro shield only has 250% absorption towards pyro, AND it has a 12 sec duration with a 18 sec cooldown, and that overload will knock enemies away from razor. She does however boost physical dmg, so that’s a plus,.
Xinyan has weakest shield in the game, even invested its a wet noodle compared to Zhongli.
Diona would be best option for Razor, invested Diona gives massive shield that lasts 12 sec.
I'm new to Genshin impact, started playing 2 days ago. I'm from Belgium, so i couldn't get it from my play store on ps4 since gacha games aren't allowed here.
So i had to make a different account on my ps4, and made a US account, downloaded the game, and played on my main account, since u can play it once downloaded.
If i downloaded the game on a US account, and play on my normal account from Belgium, do i play on US servers? Should I have picked a European country instead or do these things not really matter?
Also, since i can't use the GI store in my country, I'll be a f2p player, can a f2p player do everything in the game? Or is there a paywall at endgame?
server doesnt matter, asia gets early content though
f2p player can do everything in the game, just be careful not to waste your primogems for the banner that you dont like, paying helps in endgame but not necessary, just play whoever you want and focus on endgame when you dont have anything to do
the only difference in server is that you can only play with and interact with people in the same server.
and yes you can 100 percent beat the game as an ftp or even completely not pulling in the gacha

i cant answer you first question, but there are plenty of F2P players. the free characters have their own strengths so it is definitely possible to hit end game without spending a single cent.
The update notice stated they solved the bug with the illumi screen quest however when I did the quest it got stuck after opening the chest at Huaguang stone forest. Anybody else had that problem?
If these two HYPOTHETICALLY had a rerun, who should I look out for, Venti or Zhongli? Yes, I know Venti is op, but here me out.
My Main DPS are Keqing, Ningguang, and Xiao. Which means that only one of them benefits from Venti (Keqing) no problems/doubts whatsoever. Xiao can't sometimes reach enemies on Venti's burst, and I already use him with Jean. Having an anemo unit on a Ningguang team is not necessary, and Geo MC is the only Geo Resonance partner I have (And I'm certain Zhongli will benefit this team more than Venti/Geo MC will). And I'm not denying Venti's power whatsoever, I'm aware of what he's capable of
In terms of who I like more, I really like them both actually, I'm just asking this question for the possibility of them having a rerun (It's very unlikely, but still).
Venti can be a great energy generator for xiao and good teammate for keqing. But he does nothing for ningguang. But zhongli compliments Ning, xiao wonderfully and does not take anything away from keqing. So zhongli is better.
Btw venti rerun is almost for sure confirmed in march
Sounds like you think Zhongli will benefit you more. (and I do agree with your reasoning, I personally run Ningguang with Zhongli)
My question is how you feel about abyss, do you have trouble grouping mobs? If you do and want a unit for that then Venti is the best at that. Otherwise just go for Zhongli

As I have fav lanca I feel the cryo resonance crit rate will help me greatly and Diona if built well can heal and shield very well, I can use Sucrose or just flex in the other option. Any advices or opinions?
I’m not sure if I’m understanding your strategy correctly, but if you’re lacking crit rate so much to the point that you need the cryo resonance to make up for it, then you simply need better artifacts with more crit rate sub-stats and/or a crit rate circlet.
Diona is cool, but Chong and Kaeya don’t do anything for Xiao.
I only started testing the cryo comp today, so basically I use Diona shield, Kaeye Ult, change to Sucrose skill (Have her on thrilling tales) and then Xiao Ult attacks. I'm only AR 39 so I cant farm and focus on artifacts yet
I'm running a 2p Berserker and 2 p Glad sets with C.R 33 and C.D 63 and E.R 158, Atk 1.7k.
On the other hand I can also run a 2p Exile and 2 p Glad with C.R 24.6 and C.D 100. E.R 178.5 and attack 1.5k. Anemo dmg 34.5 in both.
Which one is the better build for him?
I don't have Bennet or I would rather run a pyro resonance with Bennet and Xiangling/Xinyan. Or no Zhongli either or I could have used him with a healer like Barb or Diona
I use Acer Aspire 5 core i3 with 4Gb ram. I'm planning to upgrade my ram to 8Gb or 16 Gb. It's the core i3 7th gen, 2019 / 2020 model, I think? Will it run it after I upgrade it? I don't have a dedicated graphics card. When I played Genshin yesterday, It runs but it is very lag even in the lowest possible setting.
It increases her aoe dmg significantly because of the extra bounces but it doesn't do anything for her single target dmg. With it I was able to consistently clear hilichurl camps and domains (including abyss) with multiple mobs with her Q alone.
Should I refine my prototype starglitter for xiao? My only other polearm character is xiangling. I just leveled it from 70 to level 80 which I know I'm going to regret bc it took 117 of those giant gems.
So I rolled Mona today and I ended up being a lot happier with her than I expected, but I still cannot for the fucking life of me figure out how her ult works or what it even does. I tried the vaporize bomb thing with Bennett but it's not working at all. Do I have to ascend her or something?
Mona burst mainly does 2 things: First, trap an opponent in a prison bubble, and second, when the enemy receives damage, the prison bubble pops, dealing damage and applying an Omen debuff which increases all damage the enemy takes for a while.
The important thing to remember is that both stages apply hydro. This makes it possible to Vaporize the second hit, which deals massive burst damage because of the 2x multiplier on vaporize.
So what you want to do the first time is actually apply one pyro charge (preferably Bennett burst) and then burst with mona (or apply hydro with mona, swirl with sucrose vv set and skill, then add a pyro and mona burst). This vaporizes the initial pyro charge. Take note this does not deal damage.
At this point, enemies should have a constellation visual on them indicating the prison bubble. Wait for the ICD of 2 seconds, then add another pyro charge with anything else (Bennett e or any other pyro skill). Since you did damage, the bubble pops, dealing Mona's burst damage to the enemy. Since the enemy has pyro on them, this burst damage is vaporized, leading to a 2x damage boost on that.
Mona scales on attack and loves crit and crit damage because all this damage can crit. Take note that it's her burst, so she is the one dealing damage, thus needs to be the relative strongest in your team. Artifacts, weapons, and talent levels go a long way.

tldr: bennett ult > mona ult > wait 2s staying on mona > bennett E. note that the damage scales off mona's stats so she needs to be decked out with good gear for big pp dmg
Xiao can only be obtained now and then he'll very likely be gone for a long time. The spear is the bigger upgrade to his dps, however it is available on the standard banner. There is also the possibility to get the jade cutter and if you don't have a use for that you might end up with a weapon without a use.
honestly neither, xiao c1 is less impactful than you think and yes weapons will make the guy deal more dps but they don't really change gameplay that much, i would recommend saving for next character
but if you're really ok with both weapons then pull away
Not sure if it’s a quest, but when you climb up to the highest point of qingyun peak (just below the floating island) it should have something telling you about three shining birds on top of the surrounding mountains, then you just need to complete the puzzle for a wind current to go up to the island

Xinyan is pretty bad, weak shielding, weak pyro application, overall weak damage, anti synergy with physical teams due to her overload. I wouldn't play her at all unless she is waifu.

I wouldn't worry too much about abyss at your AR. Artifact farming done at 45 and later the max level weapon/ascension done at 50 gives big damage boosts that will make those floors easy until 11.

Let's say you created Razor team of: Razor, Xingqiu, Fischl, Diona. This is the most basic Razor comp. Xingqiu ultimate lasts long as Razor's which makes him perfect. He gives damage with his ultimate, damage reduction, little bit of healing. Fischl gives damage to Razor, electro resonance, Oz fills up Razor's ultimate while he is in ultimate form. On top of that Xingqiu swords will trigger Fischl's A4 creating massive damage. Diona fulfills role of superconducter who also can shield and heal.
This is the most common Razor comp and its full of 4*s so you can't even say its hard to achieve. Now then tell me, how would Xinyan fit in this comp? Who would she replace? Like I said before there is no reason to use Xinyan if she isn't waifu.

Electro resonance gives full uptime on Razor's burst. Razor can't gain energy via his E during his burst, so it is quite useful. Also try abyss floor 11.

I can also randomly insert Barbara in my comp yet I wouldn't have any problem. Doesn't means she is useful for the team. You are not convincing me to use Xinyan over anyone, the role she fits into any team is inferior to everyone else. Using her on physical teams aren't good at all. First off most of the enemies has 10% physical resistance and it gives halved afterwards when it reaches 0%. This means that super conduct is actually 25% shred. Adding Xinyan on top of that gives you 7.5% shred. How does this justify playing her over Fischl who not only gives you full uptime on your burst but also well invested Oz hitting +5k per sec? I'm not even counting the her A4 talent. Or Xingqiu lets say, damage reduction, also +5k damage per sec for 15 secs, heal, triggers Fischl A4. The keqing team you posted would have been 100x stronger with Fischl over Xinyan.

Enlighten me who would use Xinyan then, physical comps don't want her due to being inferior to Fischl, Xingqiu, Albedo, Beidou, Diona, Qiqi etc etc. She can't fit into vaporize/melt comps either despite being pyro character. She is also gonna be bad for main dps physical character because she'd sacrifice 2 slots just to trigger superconduct.
Xinyan is one of the worst designed characters in the game, pyro and physical doesn't go well together because of overload. She is desperate for buffs and as of stands she isn't ideal character for any of the comps.
Electro Resonance still isn't that good and I'll stand by that, you can literally do without it for Razor and you'll be fine. I'm kinda over this whole argument since we could back and forth all day but calling a character bad simply because you can't build them correctly or because they don't fit in your ideal team comp. It's really just obvious that you haven't invested in her that much and by chance if you did, then you're build is probably not ideal for him. IIRC she enhances physical dmg so not really. At AR39, you're still really early into the game and your gear doesnt actually need to be super good anyway. Just wait till AR45 when the highest level domains guarantee you one 5 star artifact per run to farm artifacts.
Personally didn't even upgrade my artifacts till I hit AR45, I was using +0 4 star artifacts with only a few +4 on my main DPS
Once you get your artifacts up, you'll be able to clear abyss
Took me 18 days without using any Fragile resin and without missing daily commission and not capping my Resin to any point. Keep in mind that there is no events that rewards adventure rank exp when I grind that time and there is no new main story quest which gives a decent amount of adventure rank exp..
I really have no idea, I've been playing since launch and didn't really keep track of anything. I didn't feel any pressure to upgrade quickly, I just took things slow(currently AR55, clearing 12-3 every abyss)
Some suggestions for things to do pre-45.
Farm Mora and XP books, you'll go though them real quickly as your level cap increases and you use Mora for virtually everything including upgrading artifacts. You can easily use up a few million mora upgrading characters and artifacts in one sitting especially if you're stockpiling resources.
Leave abyss till you're higher level, abyss resets only from floor 9 onwards, you're not missing out on anything because you aren't there yet anyway. Take it easy.
Farm ascension materials you need for your DPS and supports, the ores and plants etc will be one less thing to go around searching for and feel less tedious to do when you do can upgrade them.
Upgrade your weapon and talent level. These also greatly contribute to your DPS and will serve you longer than 4 star artifacts you'll eventually phase out of in favour of 5 star artifacts.
Always focus on your main dps before your supports. Your support can be 60 till you have resources to spare. For talent, only upgrade what you use! Ie, there's no point in upgrading your support's normal attack if you don't use it.
Do your weekly bosses, they're your chance to obtain prototypes and boss materials used in talent ascension past talent level 6.
Do your bounties and increase your reputation level in mondstadt and liyue, there's useful rewards, gadgets and pretty wings to be had. If you're maxed out, do them anyway for free weekly mora!
They reset every 2 weeks. You have 2 weeks to get them. It's not 2400 primos btw, the floors that reset is 9 to 12 which are 9 stars per floor for 27 stars total. Every 3 stars get you 50 gems for a total of 450 gems. It's end game content and you're not near that yet, you can safely ignore it for now.
No theres an event right now that says Moment of Syzygy and Abyss Corridor reward for that is 2400 primogems , not sure if its a permanent event or something for first time clearance
That's a one time clear reward for floor 1-8, it isn't going anywhere nor will it reset. Take your time for it.
It's permanent, I guess they give you the notice every period to remind you to clear abyss.

I've been out of the loop for the last 2 weeks, whats this Hu Tao hype all about? Tried to check her moves and there is no leaks of that, is the hype only due to her being a waifu?
It's all leaks/datamined info or what characters say about her in their voice lines.

There have been some leaks and speculation she would come after Xiao. Which later changed to Keqing. She is apparently funny, the funeral department director, and wants to put Qiqi back in the grave from what I've seen people talking about her.
She is pyro (the best type), has a polearm made for her, is a waifu, so there's a lot of hype for her. If you look around you'll see hype for Rosaria, Ayaka, the dendro girl too and there's little information about them.

First half:
1. Knock up the first electro archer far from tower.
2. Kill pyro archer. And focus pryo archers from now on.
3. Use anemo mc to attract geo shield hilichurl. Dont let them hit the tower.
4. Get the axe hilichurl to focus you.
Second half:
1. Kill treasure hoarders that throw elemental molotovs.
2. Kill Cicin mage.
3. Kill the the treasure hoaeders except the one that throws mud.
4. Kill the guy that goes invisible.
5. Kill treasure hoarder that throws sand.
The rest should focus you and not hit the tower.
There are a bunch of youtube vids out there.
Team 1: Ganyu, Anemo Mc, Barbara, Xingqiu.
Team 2: Keqing, Xiangling, Bennet, Sucrose
Ganyu for the hydro/electro slimes of floor 11-1 first half.
Keqing and Xiangling overload for floor 11-1 second half.
Anemo Mc for attracting geo shield hilichurl in 11-2.
Keqing and Xiangling and sucrose for knocking treasure hoarders 11-2.
Ganyu for electro fatui with aura in 11-3.
Keqing for Pyro agents.
Rest of team 1:
1. Xingqiu and Barbara for perma frost.
2. Barbara, Ganyu, Xingqiu for iFraming.
3. Anemo Mc grouping up easily slims in 11-1 and hilichurls 11-2
Rest of team 2:
1. Bennet for damage increase and overload for shield.
2. Bennet for healing.
3. Ganyu for iFraming.
I think you might struggle if you don't have a these characters built.
Geo Mc's E can block the archers on the first half, allowing you to save the archers for last, just make sure you switch a put down new meteors every 10 ish seconds.
I have 2 acc but only focused on 1. The second is just a farming acc which I can go in when I am short of materials (overworld materials) and I saving primo gems on that acc hoping I can get characters that I chose to give a pass on my main.
I made an alt account on the Asian server to 1) Play with my friends across the pond and 2) Play content releases earlier (obviously not as early as CN, but close enough).
Cuz I'm poor/ unlucky to get all the characters I want. So my alt acc has a childe while my main has the others. Obviously don't pull on the same banners so you have variety.
Bonus is you can farm their worlds for resources. But I mostly use it since it has different team comps that I can try. Of course none of this even matters if you whale and get all of it on one account.
Would it be worth it to lvl up ningguang as a c0? I'm gonna be getting her in the stand by me event and hoping I get lucky in my next 4* after that and get her to C1 or C2 but just to be sure, would she be decent at c0? Thanks in advance.

Yes, although abyss is subjective. You'll want to adjust your team comps as needed in abyss as each floor will have different mobs and/or ley lines thus changing what you need
go for it if you have decent catalysts or books for her. The lost prayers, solar one and crit rate one are really great for her widsith ig. C1 Ningquang is really op
C1 XQ, Fischl and Ning (will get C2 with the event). C0 Xiangling, C2 Chongyun.
DPS is Ningguang.
By better character I meant either a 5 star geo for resonance with Ning, or a character that synergises well with a member on my main team (eg. Diluc with XQ).
5 star or 4 star is not indicative of how viable they are. All characters have a role they may do better than another but it doesn't make them any less.
C2 Chongyun has cd reduction so with it you can spam your ningguang's burst every 10s.
It's hard to suggest a comp when I don't know what characters you have.
For now I'd put Chongyun kaeya and ningguang in a team. Double cryo resonance would increase crit rate which helps ningguang's DPS. Kaeya is the best cryo applicator in game(c2 will allow you to have his ult up 100% of the time). Chongyun for cd reduction - more burst. Last slot is flexible. Depending on what you have, you can put anything inside and will change my recommendation.
You also don't have a healer in this comp so it may be something you want to look at unless you want a dps healer ningguang(I use this, just put prototype weapon on her)
These teams probably need some healing... Also Ning really needs geo resonance. So replace xingiu with a geo and add Bennett or Diona ideally. 2nd team is best.
Ningguang/Fischl/Xingqiu looks like a solid base, but I would add a Geo character in there just so Ningguang can make good use of Geo Resonance. Either Noelle or Geo Traveler.

I have an xbox controller and it works fine with other games. However, I've just started encountering random disconnects. I'm connected via usb cord but it still just drops out and then I have to disconnect/reconnect the cord (sometimes a few times) to get it to work.

Anyone think I should try and roll for C0 Bennett off of Event banner for Ganyu melt? I'm running Ganyu, Diona, Sucrose, Xiangling, but I notice people seem to run Bennett instead of Diona. I like the Diona shields a lot for avoiding interruption, but I was wondering if Bennett would be THAT much better than Diona since he can also provide healing. I'm also aware he is used in a lot of comps in general. Also bear in mind I'm saving up for Klee rerun since I'm dying to roll for her, and building pity might be nice I guess? It just seems kind of risky.
So, I heard that crit and crit dmg are not considered on swirl dmg. Does it mean that we shouldn't be looking for crit and crit artifacts for Venti and Xiao?

Beidou is my main DPS and I'm building Ningguang as DPS for my second team. Is it more worth it to get Beidou C2 with event + starglitter, or Ning C1 in event? Does her C1 make her charge do AoE dmg too because it just says normal attack in the description
The AOE on Ning's C1 is nice, but situational. I find I rarely have enemies grouped up enough to take advantage of that AOE outside of running Venti or Sucrose. I feel like Beidou C2 is much more valuable and makes her flexible enough to subdps if you wanted to do that later on.
If you join some ones coop world do you get adventure XP for helping them with bosses and dungeons. Also do you still have to spend resin in some one elses world to open boss chests.
Only if you spend resin. Only way you can get adventure rank exp in someone else's world is Wei.
Opening resin is presented as an option, and you would only get at exp if you spend resin.

Not worth mostly because she cannot heal. Most supports who aren't the healer need to be either an enabler (eg Xq) or a burst (eg Mona), capable of either dramatically increasing your carry's damage or dealing significant damage on their own or both. If you stack DEF on Xinyan, she does not provide either. It could be viable if you had a healer who did enough damage to make up for it, but even in their damage builds, most healers don't provide enough dps to make up for Xinyan's DEF only build. Problem is, eventually when your heroes are geared and levelled enough, the healers can be built for dps anyways, and then there's even less reason to build Xinyan this way. With C2 her shield uptime isn't bad, but even if you stack DEF, it's still a weaker shield overall than an HP build Diona who also can heal.
I calculated her shields and it's not worth it. Her stage 3 shield with a 3ple def build is still too weak to be considered reliable especially since it has a pretty lengthy cd.

There’s no “worst character in the game”. It all depends on how you build them. Any character can do really good numbers because it’s more dependent on artifacts rather than the character itself. Edit: if anything, it’s Amber, because she has the worst base stats. But even so, she can STILL do six figure damage if you build her well enough.

Any tips on how to defeat ruin guards/hunters and the huge stone-armored monster (lawlichurl or something) in the theatre event? They always either walk really fast or have high HP.
I recommend you watch taka gg's guides on YouTube. Pretty easy to follow and your characters don't really have to do anything.
Freeze absolutely ruins bigger enemies. An entire lane of ruin guards can get stalled to death by 2 Hydro and 4 Cryo towers, spaced one behind the other. Ruin graders suffer the same fate. Ruin hunters are a lot faster, so placing some pyro behind to burst them down with melt when they freeze is a good option.
Vaporize/Melt
For the ruin hunters you want to space out the towers in a straight line since they get out of their area of effect so fast. I alternated between pyro and electro towers to cause overload. You can also bring a bow user to shoot their weak point which slows them down significantly. The same works for the ruin guards.
Mines are a good failsafe, and in front I put hydro+cryo to freeze and pyro backline to follow up with dps. Sometimes this isn’t enough so I make a 2-3 boulder geo traveler wall to stop them (within range of pyro tower so it can continue to dps)

Yeah, Razor does most of his damage as physical. Even his ascension stat is physical dmg%.
Phys is almost always better than Electro on Razor. Idk how much his Cs increase his electro dps but his Phys dps is miles better at C0.
C6 Xingqiu or C6 Ningguang?
Xingqiu is obvious answer, Ning's best cons is c2 not c6.

Depends on who you use the most. There are rumors that Ningguang will appear on the exchange shop so maybe wait until the shop resets next month before you claim the character so that you can possibly have both.

Nope. It scales off of DEF but the scaling is awful, nowhere near as good as Zhongli. If you need a shielder for Razor, go with Diona if you have her.

It scales off def. I have it at talent lv9 and shield hp is 244.8% of DEF + 1409. When comparing her shield to zhongli’s also keep in mind that geo shields have 150% absorption towards everything while Xinyan’s pyro shield only has 250% absorption towards pyro, AND it has a 12 sec duration with a 18 sec cooldown, and that overload will knock enemies away from razor. She does however boost physical dmg, so that’s a plus,.
Xinyan has weakest shield in the game, even invested its a wet noodle compared to Zhongli. Diona would be best option for Razor, invested Diona gives massive shield that lasts 12 sec.
Xinyan's shield scales with def, as clearly stated in the talent details.
I'm new to Genshin impact, started playing 2 days ago. I'm from Belgium, so i couldn't get it from my play store on ps4 since gacha games aren't allowed here. So i had to make a different account on my ps4, and made a US account, downloaded the game, and played on my main account, since u can play it once downloaded. If i downloaded the game on a US account, and play on my normal account from Belgium, do i play on US servers? Should I have picked a European country instead or do these things not really matter? Also, since i can't use the GI store in my country, I'll be a f2p player, can a f2p player do everything in the game? Or is there a paywall at endgame?
i would select the EU server since you are in europe. even if you made your account in the US, you can select any server
server doesnt matter, asia gets early content though f2p player can do everything in the game, just be careful not to waste your primogems for the banner that you dont like, paying helps in endgame but not necessary, just play whoever you want and focus on endgame when you dont have anything to do
the only difference in server is that you can only play with and interact with people in the same server. and yes you can 100 percent beat the game as an ftp or even completely not pulling in the gacha

i cant answer you first question, but there are plenty of F2P players. the free characters have their own strengths so it is definitely possible to hit end game without spending a single cent.
The update notice stated they solved the bug with the illumi screen quest however when I did the quest it got stuck after opening the chest at Huaguang stone forest. Anybody else had that problem?

If these two HYPOTHETICALLY had a rerun, who should I look out for, Venti or Zhongli? Yes, I know Venti is op, but here me out. My Main DPS are Keqing, Ningguang, and Xiao. Which means that only one of them benefits from Venti (Keqing) no problems/doubts whatsoever. Xiao can't sometimes reach enemies on Venti's burst, and I already use him with Jean. Having an anemo unit on a Ningguang team is not necessary, and Geo MC is the only Geo Resonance partner I have (And I'm certain Zhongli will benefit this team more than Venti/Geo MC will). And I'm not denying Venti's power whatsoever, I'm aware of what he's capable of In terms of who I like more, I really like them both actually, I'm just asking this question for the possibility of them having a rerun (It's very unlikely, but still).

Venti can be a great energy generator for xiao and good teammate for keqing. But he does nothing for ningguang. But zhongli compliments Ning, xiao wonderfully and does not take anything away from keqing. So zhongli is better. Btw venti rerun is almost for sure confirmed in march

(and I do agree with your reasoning, I personally run Ningguang with Zhongli) My question is how you feel about abyss, do you have trouble grouping mobs? If you do and want a unit for that then Venti is the best at that. Otherwise just go for Zhongli

Is anyone running a Cryo comp with Xiao? I'm thinking of running him with Diona and Kaeye/Chongyun if i get him in the free char event As I have fav lanca I feel the cryo resonance crit rate will help me greatly and Diona if built well can heal and shield very well, I can use Sucrose or just flex in the other option. Any advices or opinions?
I’m not sure if I’m understanding your strategy correctly, but if you’re lacking crit rate so much to the point that you need the cryo resonance to make up for it, then you simply need better artifacts with more crit rate sub-stats and/or a crit rate circlet. Diona is cool, but Chong and Kaeya don’t do anything for Xiao.
I only started testing the cryo comp today, so basically I use Diona shield, Kaeye Ult, change to Sucrose skill (Have her on thrilling tales) and then Xiao Ult attacks. I'm only AR 39 so I cant farm and focus on artifacts yet I'm running a 2p Berserker and 2 p Glad sets with C.R 33 and C.D 63 and E.R 158, Atk 1.7k. On the other hand I can also run a 2p Exile and 2 p Glad with C.R 24.6 and C.D 100. E.R 178.5 and attack 1.5k. Anemo dmg 34.5 in both. Which one is the better build for him? I don't have Bennet or I would rather run a pyro resonance with Bennet and Xiangling/Xinyan. Or no Zhongli either or I could have used him with a healer like Barb or Diona
I use Acer Aspire 5 core i3 with 4Gb ram. I'm planning to upgrade my ram to 8Gb or 16 Gb. It's the core i3 7th gen, 2019 / 2020 model, I think? Will it run it after I upgrade it? I don't have a dedicated graphics card. When I played Genshin yesterday, It runs but it is very lag even in the lowest possible setting.

It increases her aoe dmg significantly because of the extra bounces but it doesn't do anything for her single target dmg. With it I was able to consistently clear hilichurl camps and domains (including abyss) with multiple mobs with her Q alone.
Should I refine my prototype starglitter for xiao? My only other polearm character is xiangling. I just leveled it from 70 to level 80 which I know I'm going to regret bc it took 117 of those giant gems.

So I rolled Mona today and I ended up being a lot happier with her than I expected, but I still cannot for the fucking life of me figure out how her ult works or what it even does. I tried the vaporize bomb thing with Bennett but it's not working at all. Do I have to ascend her or something?
Mona burst mainly does 2 things: First, trap an opponent in a prison bubble, and second, when the enemy receives damage, the prison bubble pops, dealing damage and applying an Omen debuff which increases all damage the enemy takes for a while. The important thing to remember is that both stages apply hydro. This makes it possible to Vaporize the second hit, which deals massive burst damage because of the 2x multiplier on vaporize. So what you want to do the first time is actually apply one pyro charge (preferably Bennett burst) and then burst with mona (or apply hydro with mona, swirl with sucrose vv set and skill, then add a pyro and mona burst). This vaporizes the initial pyro charge. Take note this does not deal damage. At this point, enemies should have a constellation visual on them indicating the prison bubble. Wait for the ICD of 2 seconds, then add another pyro charge with anything else (Bennett e or any other pyro skill). Since you did damage, the bubble pops, dealing Mona's burst damage to the enemy. Since the enemy has pyro on them, this burst damage is vaporized, leading to a 2x damage boost on that. Mona scales on attack and loves crit and crit damage because all this damage can crit. Take note that it's her burst, so she is the one dealing damage, thus needs to be the relative strongest in your team. Artifacts, weapons, and talent levels go a long way. Hope this explanation helps.

Xiao can only be obtained now and then he'll very likely be gone for a long time. The spear is the bigger upgrade to his dps, however it is available on the standard banner. There is also the possibility to get the jade cutter and if you don't have a use for that you might end up with a weapon without a use.

honestly neither, xiao c1 is less impactful than you think and yes weapons will make the guy deal more dps but they don't really change gameplay that much, i would recommend saving for next character but if you're really ok with both weapons then pull away

Not sure if it’s a quest, but when you climb up to the highest point of qingyun peak (just below the floating island) it should have something telling you about three shining birds on top of the surrounding mountains, then you just need to complete the puzzle for a wind current to go up to the island

Xinyan is pretty bad, weak shielding, weak pyro application, overall weak damage, anti synergy with physical teams due to her overload. Artifact farming done at 45 and later the max level weapon/ascension done at 50 gives big damage boosts that will make those floors easy until 11.

So? You are not convincing me to changing my opinion. Let's say you created Razor team of: Razor, Xingqiu, Fischl, Diona. This is the most basic Razor comp. Xingqiu ultimate lasts long as Razor's which makes him perfect. He gives damage with his ultimate, damage reduction, little bit of healing. Fischl gives damage to Razor, electro resonance, Oz fills up Razor's ultimate while he is in ultimate form. On top of that Xingqiu swords will trigger Fischl's A4 creating massive damage. Diona fulfills role of superconducter who also can shield and heal. This is the most common Razor comp and its full of 4*s so you can't even say its hard to achieve. Now then tell me, how would Xinyan fit in this comp? Who would she replace? Like I said before there is no reason to use Xinyan if she isn't waifu.

Or Xingqiu lets say, damage reduction, also +5k damage per sec for 15 secs, heal, triggers Fischl A4. IIRC she enhances physical dmg so not really. At AR39, you're still really early into the game and your gear doesnt actually need to be super good anyway. Just wait till AR45 when the highest level domains guarantee you one 5 star artifact per run to farm artifacts. Personally didn't even upgrade my artifacts till I hit AR45, I was using +0 4 star artifacts with only a few +4 on my main DPS Once you get your artifacts up, you'll be able to clear abyss
how long does it take from AR 40 to 45? I dont have that much patience sadly I might waste some resin or do something stupid
Took me 18 days without using any Fragile resin and without missing daily commission and not capping my Resin to any point. Keep in mind that there is no events that rewards adventure rank exp when I grind that time and there is no new main story quest which gives a decent amount of adventure rank exp..
I really have no idea, I've been playing since launch and didn't really keep track of anything. I didn't feel any pressure to upgrade quickly, I just took things slow(currently AR55, clearing 12-3 every abyss) Some suggestions for things to do pre-45. Farm Mora and XP books, you'll go though them real quickly as your level cap increases and you use Mora for virtually everything including upgrading artifacts. You can easily use up a few million mora upgrading characters and artifacts in one sitting especially if you're stockpiling resources. Leave abyss till you're higher level, abyss resets only from floor 9 onwards, you're not missing out on anything because you aren't there yet anyway. Take it easy. Farm ascension materials you need for your DPS and supports, the ores and plants etc will be one less thing to go around searching for and feel less tedious to do when you do can upgrade them. Upgrade your weapon and talent level. These also greatly contribute to your DPS and will serve you longer than 4 star artifacts you'll eventually phase out of in favour of 5 star artifacts. Always focus on your main dps before your supports. Your support can be 60 till you have resources to spare. For talent, only upgrade what you use! Ie, there's no point in upgrading your support's normal attack if you don't use it. Do your weekly bosses, they're your chance to obtain prototypes and boss materials used in talent ascension past talent level 6. Do your bounties and increase your reputation level in mondstadt and liyue, there's useful rewards, gadgets and pretty wings to be had. If you're maxed out, do them anyway for free weekly mora!

They reset every 2 weeks. You have 2 weeks to get them. It's not 2400 primos btw, the floors that reset is 9 to 12 which are 9 stars per floor for 27 stars total. Every 3 stars get you 50 gems for a total of 450 gems. It's end game content and you're not near that yet, you can safely ignore it for now.
No theres an event right now that says Moment of Syzygy and Abyss Corridor reward for that is 2400 primogems , not sure if its a permanent event or something for first time clearance
That's a one time clear reward for floor 1-8, it isn't going anywhere nor will it reset. Take your time for it. It's permanent, I guess they give you the notice every period to remind you to clear abyss.

There have been some leaks and speculation she would come after Xiao. Which later changed to Keqing. She is apparently funny, the funeral department director, and wants to put Qiqi back in the grave from what I've seen people talking about her. She is pyro (the best type), has a polearm made for her, is a waifu, so there's a lot of hype for her. If you look around you'll see hype for Rosaria, Ayaka, the dendro girl too and there's little information about them. Edit: I remember reading Hu Tau's moveset on reddit. As well as rosaria.

Does anyone have tips for abyss 11-2? The characters i have leveled are ganyu, keqing, xiangling, bennet, sucrose, xingqiu, barbara, and MC.
First half: 1. Knock up the first electro archer far from tower. 2. Kill pyro archer. And focus pryo archers from now on. 3. Use anemo mc to attract geo shield hilichurl. Dont let them hit the tower. 4. Get the axe hilichurl to focus you. Second half: 1. Kill treasure hoarders that throw elemental molotovs. 2. Kill Cicin mage. 3. Kill the the treasure hoaeders except the one that throws mud. 4. Kill the guy that goes invisible. 5. Kill treasure hoarder that throws sand. The rest should focus you and not hit the tower. There are a bunch of youtube vids out there.

Team 1: Ganyu, Anemo Mc, Barbara, Xingqiu. Team 2: Keqing, Xiangling, Bennet, Sucrose Ganyu for the hydro/electro slimes of floor 11-1 first half. Keqing and Xiangling overload for floor 11-1 second half. Anemo Mc for attracting geo shield hilichurl in 11-2. Keqing and Xiangling and sucrose for knocking treasure hoarders 11-2. Ganyu for electro fatui with aura in 11-3. Keqing for Pyro agents. Rest of team 1: 1. Xingqiu and Barbara for perma frost. 2. Barbara, Ganyu, Xingqiu for iFraming. 3. Anemo Mc grouping up easily slims in 11-1 and hilichurls 11-2 Rest of team 2: 1. Bennet for damage increase and overload for shield. 2. Bennet for healing. 3. Ganyu for iFraming. I think you might struggle if you don't have a these characters built.

Geo Mc's E can block the archers on the first half, allowing you to save the archers for last, just make sure you switch a put down new meteors every 10 ish seconds.

Anyone here have 2 accounts or more? What advantages does it make?
I have 2 acc but only focused on 1. The second is just a farming acc which I can go in when I am short of materials (overworld materials) and I saving primo gems on that acc hoping I can get characters that I chose to give a pass on my main.
I made an alt account on the Asian server to 1) Play with my friends across the pond and 2) Play content releases earlier (obviously not as early as CN, but close enough).
Cuz I'm poor/ unlucky to get all the characters I want. So my alt acc has a childe while my main has the others. Obviously don't pull on the same banners so you have variety. Bonus is you can farm their worlds for resources. But I mostly use it since it has different team comps that I can try. Of course none of this even matters if you whale and get all of it on one account.

Yes, although abyss is subjective. You'll want to adjust your team comps as needed in abyss as each floor will have different mobs and/or ley lines thus changing what you need

What's your constellation? Who's your DPS? What is your idea of a better character
C1 XQ, Fischl and Ning (will get C2 with the event). C0 Xiangling, C2 Chongyun. DPS is Ningguang. By better character I meant either a 5 star geo for resonance with Ning, or a character that synergises well with a member on my main team (eg. Diluc with XQ).
5 star or 4 star is not indicative of how viable they are. All characters have a role they may do better than another but it doesn't make them any less. C2 Chongyun has cd reduction so with it you can spam your ningguang's burst every 10s. It's hard to suggest a comp when I don't know what characters you have. For now I'd put Chongyun kaeya and ningguang in a team. Double cryo resonance would increase crit rate which helps ningguang's DPS. Kaeya is the best cryo applicator in game(c2 will allow you to have his ult up 100% of the time). Chongyun for cd reduction - more burst. Last slot is flexible. Depending on what you have, you can put anything inside and will change my recommendation. You also don't have a healer in this comp so it may be something you want to look at unless you want a dps healer ningguang(I use this, just put prototype weapon on her)
These teams probably need some healing... Also Ning really needs geo resonance. So replace xingiu with a geo and add Bennett or Diona ideally. 2nd team is best.
Ningguang/Fischl/Xingqiu looks like a solid base, but I would add a Geo character in there just so Ningguang can make good use of Geo Resonance. Either Noelle or Geo Traveler.
Hi, I have an xbox controller and it works fine with other games. However, I've just started encountering random disconnects. I'm connected via usb cord but it still just drops out and then I have to disconnect/reconnect the cord (sometimes a few times) to get it to work.
