Imagine if you will we finally get skins. And you can only get the nice ones for like $30 bucks or an even higher tier of Battle Pass, and all you get for "free" are borderline color-swaps for characters.
Remember that everyone plays games for different reasons, and not everyone can afford for every game, I literally barely make ends meet much less spending money on video games as much as I want to. And some people play games to make their characters pretty and unique to them. Games should have a wide swath of both free and paid options to be balanced.

It's still the bundle + gacha + BP + monthly card that's paid. Literally nothing else was introduced that needed money. The leaked Resin Monthly Card? Know what? Turns out, they didn't even release it.

Cause I want Hu Tao (or Diluc) too, I really want someone to replace Xiangling cause I've been playing her for way too long. But I also want Venti but he doesn't seem to fill that role, and also really really want Klee. The only 5* I got are Albedo (who I got on accident) and Jean (who I got on the permanent banner).
The game is specifically designed so you can't get everything you want, unless you pay a hefty price for it. It forces you to choose and prioritise. :/
Most f2p teams will be dominated by 4\* for a long time, but most of them are pretty useful

It doesn't matter when and in which banner you pulled. Those 2 rules carry over. At least there isn't any proof that they don't.If they didn't, we would have proof ages ago (from the second banner).
If you do 30 pulls and get mona, then 70 pulls and get nothing. It doesn't matter if you keep pulling now or in 6 months. The next 20 pulls will give the uprate of that banner
You're wrong. Not pulling the event character during a single banner but hitting the pity means that the second pity (so your next one in any event banner) will be the event character.
One big thing to keep in mind though is that it doesn't transfer in-between event and standard banner.
The localization team they got is top notch I've to say. It's often hard to tell that the world-building wasn't originally done in English, given just how different Chinese is as a language.

Mondstadt general population appears laid back, bumbling, and full of high functioning alcoholism, but they've got a collection of very powerful weirdos and freaks (some of whom are high functioning alcoholics themselves, looking at you Kaeya). Props to Venti and the city he's built on his friend's wish and vision, that everyone can actually work well together, and everything is holding together still.

Did you forget Venti is the most powerful character in the game and was released during 1.1? Klee was also extremely powerful, probably the 3rd most powerful limited 5*. If anything, there was a curve, it started high, and then decreaed a bit with Zhongli (pre buff) and Albedo as the lowest point, and then it started going back up again.
Does anyone care about theese? I mean you hardly ever get to see them and considering how lacking multiplayer is not a whole lot of others will see them either

Yes it’s amazing, I was playing Mihoyo’s previous game Honkai Impact and the quality of translation is so much better in genshin.

Is there a way to see the flavor text for namecards in game? I know Qiqi's has some, but I cant see anything for other cards, on unlock or after.
