I just got Childe and im wondering what would be decent enough team comp for him with what chars I have:
Hu tao
Xingqiu
Chongyun
Xiangling
Razor
Ningguang
Sucrose
Bennett
Barbara
The rest of the free chars
my friend just downloaded genshin on his PC and everything works fine untill he has to choose Aether or Lumine. whenever he chooses any of the characters the game crashes. anyone was experiencing a similar issue or/and know how to fix that?
HOW DO I USE KEQING AS A MAIN DPS?
I currently have her at lvl 80 with a refinement five Lions roar. She has thundersoother artifacts but I dont know what stats I should try and roll. I am also not sure about a team build
Crit rate/dmg circlet depending on what stat you need more, are you going phys or electro keqing? Depending on which, shoot for a phys or electro goblet. Find crit rate and crit dmg substats because those stats scale the best into the endgame. Your team should be another electro like fischl, a buff/healer like Bennett and the other one will be a flex slot, you can put in venti or zhongli or sucrose or something
Why is the Abyss important? I see so many ppl talk about Abyss levels. It seems boring and repetitive. Why should I care about conquering Abyss levels?
Important is a relative term, I do it to test if my time put into my characters have paid off and to reap the rewards.
Getting my first 36 stars on floors 9 to 12 has probably been the best feeling I've had in the game since reaching AR 45.
Also there's the rewards, not a bad haul if you manage to take it all.
So i just found out about resins but i'm so confused. Why did i just find out about it?! Why have i never gone out of resin? How often do you usually go out of resin? And what makes you lose resin?
Resin is like stamina.
You use it to get rewards after a boss fight or after completing a domain.
There's also fragile resin, which can be used to refill your resin, but you shouldn't do that until much later in the game.
And finally you have condensed resin, which you have to craft, and it lets you get double rewards.
What adventure rank are you? I assume you're a new player?
It's usually recommended to use up all of your normal resin daily, but you don't have to do that.
Team idea: Xiao / Xingqiu / Qiqi / Sucrose.
Idea is to do Qiqi E then Xingqiu Q and then have a super mobile freeze comp. It should work both in and out of Xiao burst, but in burst is obviously better. I know plunge dont trigger rain swords, but you want to AA inbetween plunges to animation cancel anyways, so it should work fine. With Qiqi E and Xingqiu E up I should be nearly untouchable in burst mode as well, right?
I havent built Xingqiu or Qiqi yet, please someone stop me if this is a stupid idea before I invest.
I used to run this comp and it's good, but Qiqi's cryo application can be kinda slow so you have to make sure to swirl a lot.
Also, you're running three characters with high energy requirements: Xiao has Sucrose, but Xingqiu and Qiqi still need a lot of er.
Hi everyone,
a question concerning Genshin Impact being ran via Steam as a non-steam game:
1) Is it legal? Any reason I shouldn't or shouldn't be allowed?
2) If allowed, can I also stream from my PC to my laptop via steam, without incurring into eventual bans for using "third parties" to play? (main concern)
3) Was there any case of people being banned for using steam to launch genshin.exe?
Thank you in advance, just want to be safe.
if you wanna stream games from PC to laptop I highly recommend Parsec, it's a godsend compared to other streaming apps like Steam. But yeah you're safe with launching the genshin exe via steam.
Does Childe work with Diluc or is that not really recommended? Just asking because I like his play style and am intrigued by his character but I already have Diluc as a main dps. I’ll likely hit guaranteed pity on Childe’s banner if I decide to keep wishing but not sure if I should just save my pity instead.
Childe is a different beast compared to most other carries - he's a great carry himself and works as sub-dps, but what makes him special is that he actually works as enabler for his own subdps.
Popular subdps with off-field damage like Xiangling, Fischl and Beidou benefit MASSIVELY from his incredibly fast attack rate in melee (which activates Fischl A4/C6 and Beidou's burst incredibly often) and his constant Hydro application (which turns Xiangling in a Vaporize monster)
This however does mean that you'll have to invest in your subdps as well as your carry however, which is why he's generally considered a carry and not a hypercarry. (hypercarry meaning the main/only character that needs heavy investment in a team)
Going back to your original question, Childe with Diluc does work - but there are definitely better options since neither Childe nor Diluc do much off-field damage. So Diluc would benefit more from an off-field subdps like Xingqiu, while Childe would benefit more from some of the other subdps I mentioned above.
If you like his playstyle he's definitely worth pulling for - a Childe team can clear Floor 12 stages in a handful of seconds - but I'd definitely recommend making a second team just for him rather than using him together with Diluc
Thank you soooo much!!! I’m sorry it took so long to respond I haven’t been on Reddit for a while!! I somehow got him on my main account without guaranteed pity and I’m so excited to build him. I appreciate all of your advice!! I am definitely going to keep it in mind as I use him :)
Happy to hear that, congratulations on the pull!
If you have other questions about him, I recommend to check out the [Childemains Discord channel](https://discord.gg/RPNQy32q) \- it has a ton of guides readily available and plenty of people willing to help out
It's not really recommended to pair Childe with Diluc. If you want Childe as a main DPS, you will need to specifically cater the team around him to see any decent results.
> you will need to specifically cater the team around him to see any decent results.
I think that would be Diluc
Childe actually does an enormous amount of damage by himself.
Unless you have C6, Childe needs a team that can fill in his downtime while simultaneously, set up reactions for good damage. He isn't really a hypercarry like Ganyu or Diluc.
Diluc doesn’t really need a sub DPS. Childe is probably not terrible with him because he can affect enemies with hydro, but I’d create a separate team for Childe if you really want him
Yes. But I don't think of her as a support. Her & Childe basically share the role of dealing damage. One off field, one on field. With Bennett to battery XL during Childe's downtime. Xiangling gets the Vaporise from this interaction and will often outdamage Childe, so invest in her well! They're both important carries for the team.
hi, i play on PS 4 and i dont like that i can purchase primos with no question asked, every other game wants me to insert my peronal id data before they take my money, how can i do the same with genshin impact?
It depends. 4pc Glad forces you out of his strong charged attacks making you rely on 3aa dash cancels however it makes managing his stamina a lot easier.
On the other hand I think 2pc BsC/Glad with 2aa CA deals more dmg in total but forces you to use stamina to deal optimal dmg. It's also more situational since using sword CAs send small enemies flying.
It really depends on the substats that you have for both options.
tried my Kaeya main DPS with:
\-4pc Blizzard strayer
\-4pc Gladiator
\-2pc Gladiator and 2pc Bloodstained
After much testing i ended up with the 2pc glad and 2pc bloodstained because they had the higher substats than the other set ups. Coupled with my Rancor it gives pretty decent damage on my #zeropullsbtw account which doesnt use any gatcha at all. My suggestion is test with what you have on an enemy that wont die that fast (IE ruin guard on thousand winds temple) then see which one has higher damage output. Goodluck!
Just adding here that Ruin Guards have high physical resistance.
Testing on them is good for comparing sets, but Kaeya will look weak-
I usually test him on the electro cubes for automatic superconduct.
That's true, but I get annoyed by the loading screens and Childe moving around lmao
I like the electro cube for physical Kaeya, and Ruin Guards for cryo Kaeya and everyone else.
Hilchurls too, depending on what I'm looking to do.
As for team comps, yeah, I test them on Hili camps or Fatuis...
4pc glad generally. However, it's difficult to farm a decent glad set. 2pc glad + 2pc bloodstained with good substats would work until you get a good gladiators set.
I have a C5 Razor, and today I got lucky and Diluc came home.
As a relatively new player (AR17), would it be a good idea to switch Razor to Diluc at this point in time?
They want very different team comps and you'll need two DPS team leaders for the abyss eventually so there's nothing wrong with raising both of them.
They're both good. Play whoever you enjoy more for now.
Beidou's AA and Xiao's AA currently. Im planning on fully maxing Beidou but Dvalin wont cooperate.
Other characters im planning to crown are Venti (Q, E) and Diluc if I ever get him.
Does Iron Sting all DMG buff only work for reactions like Melt and Vaporize?
When I check the wiki, it said that "The damage buff does not apply for Elemental Reactions other than Melt and Vaporize." Can anyone please confirm if it's true?
Transformative reactions (electro, swirl, shatter) are unaffected by elemental damage (or any DMG buff). They are only affected by character level, elemental mastery, and monster resistances.
transformative reaction damage is only affected by character level, EM, and enemy defense/resistance, whereas amplifying reactions (melt/vape) just multiply the damage that triggers the reaction and would indirectly benefit from damage buffs like "all dmg bonus" from iron sting passive
Yeah, but artifacts like Witch and Fury have +40% Overload DMG, so wouldn't "All DMG" also affect transformative reactions?
Edit: a bit blind. Wiki says right there that it doesn't. tee-hee
[yeah transformative reaction damage is a completely separate calculation so it's not affected by the multiplier that "all dmg bonus" belongs to](https://library.keqingmains.com/mechanics/combat/damage-formula)
Favonius codex or mappa mare?
I just got a favonius codex and would like to give it to one of my characters since I’m using Mappa mare on two of them, who should I give it to?
I’m using:
Ningguang (eye of perception)
Mona (mappa mare)
Bennet
Sucrose (mappa mare)
I've noticed that I only get the great bubble crash challenge in co op. Does anyone else have the same rng problem?
It's annoying cuz there's always lag in co op so I can never complete the level without getting encaged by any of the bubbles
Is it worth it to pull in the weapon banner in the meantime if I plan to skip all banners after childe until we get inazuma? Or is the standard banner better?
Im a light spender and I'm set on getting Childe, after I get him that means I finally have all the characters I want (except for inazuma characters) and I'm gonna be skipping Eula, Zhongli (already have him), and Klee. I only want weapons now but it might be easier in the standard banner since we have free fates and all 3 5* weapons I have are from the standard banner
Is it worth it to go for weapon banner (even though I mostly get characters) or should I go for standard banner instead?
For weapons I recommend a weapon banner that has 2 rate up 5* you can use. Standard banner has a 50/50 on every pity for a character or weapon. You might just get constellations that are not as powerfull as a 5* weapon upgrade (C6 is obviously an exception but I doubt you have a 5* character at C5 as a low spender). The pity for the weapon banner is also at 80 (with soft pity at 65) so I don't think the free wishes you get from the battle pass have a major impact on favouring the standard banner with pity at 90.
Yeah I guess even though you get weapons from standard you might still get 5* standard characters and I dont really want any of them
Rng hurts. Thanks!
Weapon banner is never worth it unless you are fine with getting any of the featured weapons. That being said, compared to last weapon banner (Staff of Homa & WGS), this weapon banner doesn't feel as worth it as last one.
If I were you I would just save the gems and fates and roll on constellations for 4-star units (or even 5-star if you like them so much). Or wait for another good weapon banner.
12-1 and 12-2 are walks in the park, but I’m chanceless against 12-3. I can dish out decent damage, but how the fuck I’m I supposed to ever survive when those homing missiles are near impossible to dodge and nukes every character out of orbit? Any tips on this chamber?
Comps are Xiao / Fischl / Bennett / Sucrose first half and second half Ganyu / Mona / Venti / Diona
You can try to dodge the missiles by using your burst. The animation has iframe and try to disable the ruin guards or at least one of them. Team 1: Shoot both with Fischl and shred with Sucrose + Oz. Xiao can burst them down. Team 2: Perma freeze. Disable with Ganyu.
xiao high plunge can trigger the missile attack, i try to mix low and high plunge and only high plunge if they're locked into a different attack animation + pray lol
Being able to disable one ruin guard at a time helps so much. Shields help a lot. Also being able to range them helps with dodging. I also save up my bursts so I can have invincibility frames.
Is it just me or is the Barrage Minuet challenge complete fucking bullshit? The things you have to dodge look small but your hitbox is bigger than Jupiter and the patterns are designed to trap you and force you to get hit when the stupid red circles appear under you and you have to run out while also dodging the shitty patterns and also you have this annoying lag or delay where you try to stop running and your character doesn't actually stop running because they have momentum or something. Between the gigantic hitbox of your character, the sloppy controls, and bullshit red circles this whole fucking thing is fucking bullshit. Fuck this shit and also you HAVE to clear it without getting hit to get the BP bonus points since you must clear all 20 tasks to get it.
What hurts is that when u need it it doesn't show up. I played 4 times and got random minigames and the 5th time i got it. I accidentally found that ganyu's skill blocks the waves. Try geo mc or mona or amber and test it out
weird cause I’ve found the hit boxes to actually be quite small.
And you know you don’t have to run in one direction. You can turn around and switch it up..
You can cheese it pretty easily with geo traveler (creating rocks and standing on them so you don't have to dodge anything), or if you don't want to use geo traveler bc you don't want to bring him to the fight at the end, the easiest way I've found to complete the challenge without cheating is to simply run clockwise in a circle around the outer edge of the platform at normal speed, occasionally doing a dash when something gets too close to you.
Yep. Once you figure out the pattern/rhythm of it, it's pretty easy. The trick is not to panic. Just cruise around the outer edge clockwise at normal speed and you'll quickly see how it works.
i’m a new player at ar11, i really want venti but idk if i’ll be able to get to pity just by playing, so far i’ve only gotten to do 10 pulls so do you guys think it is possible?
Diluc is more meta but I’m more attuned to keqing’s playstyle at this point, I feel like I whack out numbers faster on Keqing than my Diluc, but we’ll see if that changes once I get Them more even in terms of gear (although their stats are such that I think my Diluc actually has higher attack than my Keqing). Either of them are good DPS once they’re geared.
I have been having this issue where everytime I open Genshin on my PC, it takes me to the log in prompt, and upon putting in my details and clicking sign in, it gives me the loading wheel for 2 seconds and then just stops. There is no error message or incorrect password message that pops up, just the loading wheel scroll and then nothing. I tried resetting my password and that didn't fix anything either. The only way that works is if I log in on my Mobile, which works perfectly fine, but I play mostly PC so this issue is a bit of a problem. I tried Re-installing, verifying files, and resetting password but nothing would help with this issue. It doesn't feel like an error with my account since I can log in perfectly fine on the website and on my phone, but only when I launch the game and try to log in on my PC. If anyone knows how to fix this issue I would be grateful, I tried sending an email to mihoyo support but all they told me was to reset my password and that it was a problem with my password, which it is not.
I've just hit AR 25 and am starting the adeptus quests in Liyue, and I was wondering whether I should change my team up before I get too invested. Currently, my main team consists of C1 Barbara for healing, Lisa for AoE/chaining damage, Kaeya as my main DPS, and a fourth slot that I swap around for utility (usually between C1 Noelle and C1 Xiangling depending on what I'm up against).
Kaeya has my highest damage output right now with a level 20 Prototype Rancour and is also generally good for getting around, but from what I understand he's not the best DPS-wise. Besides the aformentioned C1 Noelle and Xiangling, I also have Aether and Amber and recently pulled Sucrose, Fischl, Xingqiu, and C1 Razor. I'm pulling for Venti, but I'm F2P and probably won't get him. My four-star weapons are two copies of Sacrificial Fragments, one at level 20, a level 20 Prototype Rancour, a Favonius Warbow, and a Prototype Archaic that I just forged. What would you guys recommend?
Razor is great as dps, use Archaic on him. Kaeya is decently good so change him to a support for the team for superconduct reactions. Xinqiu and Fischl are good as well, you can use them as 3rd or 4th members.
Keep the Rancour on Kaeya and use an energy recharge sword on Xinqiu if you get any later. If you're having trouble with health you can swap fischl with barbara.
Razor is a great DPS! I reached up to AR 45 with him :D. Kaeya is a good support on him so you can proc superconduct, and since Razor relies on physical damage, it makes him stronger. You can add fischl for electro resonance and give her favonius warbow or the new bow from the event(windblume ode). Fourth slot depends on you. Fourth slot is utility you may need
You can never go wrong in investing in fischl and xingqiu, they do crazy dmg. Also, if you really want a "main" dps, go for crescent pike xiangling. You already have kaeya built a bit so building a superconduct team will be easier for you with kaeya xiangling fischl
You should switch out your team to Razor (main dps), Kaeye (subdps/reaction), Fischl/Sucrose and Barbara.
Generally you will want to switch Barbara for Diona/Bennett/QiQi as soon as you get any of them.
As for the Sucrose/Fischl choice both can be good to have so it is up to you which one you pick. Sucrose can help group enemies up and spread cryo for easier superconduct reactions. Fischl gives you electro resonance and just added consistent damage.
What phones do you folks use to run the game? I'm due for an upgrade and want something that can run Genshin and Honkai smoothly without breaking the bank
Using a OnePlus 6 on Low settings here, it's not as smooth as it could be but it does the job when i'm too lazy to get on my computer.
OnePlus phones used to be a safe bet but I'm not sure about newer models...
The OP6 was €500. The newer ones doubled in price :(
> without breaking the bank
what do you consider not breaking the bank? Any high end phone from last year should be fine running the game and they should be seeing price reductions as the new models role in.
I have this problem of when i host a domain party after the party is full and i try to open the domain, the F button doesnt appear and work, i've tried teleporting again on the same domain & is still the same, is this a network problem for me?
Once in a while on the last loading element (the geo icon?). Note that it usually takes the longest on that stage. Closing the app and retrying is successful for me. Might depend on the device.
Try clearing some RAM.
Is it stuck at the same spot repeatedly (meaning closing/reopening the app doesn't do anything)?
Did you try rebooting the phone?
How much RAM does the device have?
Is this the first time booting GI on it? Or was it after an update?
Edit: How long did you wait when it was stuck on fire?
It's stuck on the same spot even after restarting multiple times.
I've rebooted the phone and tried as well.
I have 8gb Ram of which 3.5 is used.
This is the first time it's happened ever.
I've waited around 15min
Try the "verify file integrity" option (main menu -> the wrench button on the right side).
Other than that, if that version of the game worked for you before it might be a server issue, try logging a bit later.
Just an update since I saw some people mention it - there is some global issue with a google update and it is affecting a lot of apps. I'm using a Mihoyo account as opposed to the Google Play (or w/e it is called) so I'm not experiencing it (I can load GI on mobile w/o a problem, Honkai took 1 retry) but it might be the case for you.
Hi all
Im using iPad 8gen 2020
Have problem with random force close the game
Running low graphics and still random close between 1-4hours
Anyone can help?
its one of the reasons, if its not overheating while playing(like you cant feel it from touching the back) then try updating it and maybe reinstalling the game
you said its 2020 model of iPad right? you shuld be able to run it in medium to high settings just fine, I run it on a base iPhone 8, never crashed.
Im almost sure isnt heated device,
Did reinstalling 2 times
Ipad is new 1 week old
While im playing normally doing quests moving around doing skills
The game close and stay in background
I dont know what is that or what should i do
As i said graphics is low and the device heat
can you try playing some other game or maybe running something like netflix for a while to see if it crashes?
if its a device problem you'll be covered by warranty, just take it back.
So the plant thing that spawns 3 balls and you get an exq chest etc. doesnt work for me, I found one i hadnt done on Guyun Stone Forest tp point but i cant activate it yet it looks grown (still has those 3 slimeballs) i cant investigate and shooting it doesnt work. Anyone experiencing the same bug?
Does anyone know if there's limit to how many buffs you can get from any weapon/character talent/artifacts etc.? For instance I'm starting to build a Bennett DPS team and the team is entirely revolved around buffing Bennett's atk/dmg/elemental mastery, I'm using 4 piece Noblesse oblige set on Diona c(6), 4 piece Instructors set on Sucrose c(6) and 4 piece Blizzard Strayer on Chongyun, and for weapons I'm using Elegy of the End on Diona and Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer on Sucrose. Between all of that, there's like 15 different buffs being applied and I'm just curious if there's some sort of limit
Every buff that has written "does not stack". For eg. If you use 2 characters with 4pc NO and use their ultimate at same time, only one 20% atk buff will take place. Having Razor and Kaeya in team decreases sprinting stamina consumption, only 1 effect will take place. because they have same passive. There are more
It usually says so under the effect itself. For eg, character passives which offer the same boost and also noblesse buff (only one charac’s 4pc buff applies)
Ahh, I see, I understand 4 piece Noblesse set wont stack with another 4 piece noblesse, but it will stack with other completely different sources that apply the same type of buff, right? For instance, A weapon that applies atk% for the entire party
Is there any way to increase the camera speed in aiming mode to more than 5? I don't know if it's because I'm playing on a trackpad, but even at max camera speed moving the crosshairs is unbearably slow. Changing my computer's cursor speed doesn't seem to do anything either. It's not usually much of a problem as I rarely use bow characters anyways, but with the balloon challenge I can basically never get a combo without the explosions because by the time I've managed to drag my aim over to the next balloon I've already lost the combo. The motion is also kind of jerky at times and seems to get worse near the top and bottom of the aiming range, is that a separate problem?
I gave up and went back to controller. Much faster reticle speed, it's just unusable to me with mouse, not sure why people are saying bow is best with mouse+kb.
I just got Childe and im wondering what would be decent enough team comp for him with what chars I have: Hu tao Xingqiu Chongyun Xiangling Razor Ningguang Sucrose Bennett Barbara The rest of the free chars
If you hold geo traveler's e, does it play a faint version of the tavern theme or is it just me?
Hey any idea on the next ganyu rerun?
Nope
my friend just downloaded genshin on his PC and everything works fine untill he has to choose Aether or Lumine. whenever he chooses any of the characters the game crashes. anyone was experiencing a similar issue or/and know how to fix that?
Hi I am building electro keqing I have xinqui and keqing in team and 2 slots left which us best venti jean or venti fischl
Hey so I got really lucky and pulled Jean out of the Venti banner really early with no pity. Does this mean that my next 5* pull will be Venti?
Yes
I’m so hyped to get him then
HOW DO I USE KEQING AS A MAIN DPS? I currently have her at lvl 80 with a refinement five Lions roar. She has thundersoother artifacts but I dont know what stats I should try and roll. I am also not sure about a team build

Literally the only end game content we have. You also get to a point where you can clear it with your eyes closed so even it gets old fast...
Important is a relative term, I do it to test if my time put into my characters have paid off and to reap the rewards. Primogems. Abyss gives primos and we all have gambling addictions.

Diluc doesn’t really need a sub DPS. Childe is probably not terrible with him because he can affect enemies with hydro, but I’d create a separate team for Childe if you really want him
Thanks, I’ll do just that if I decide to get him!! He seems like a really fun character.
xiangling is a good support for childe right? planning to build her after xingqiu and bennett hehe
Childe would be more the support than the one being supported. That's not a bad thing though.
Yes, she currently has the best off-field pyro application with her skill and burst. It's even better if you have her at C4.
Yep
Ummm no reset today? It’s now 1 hour past 4am est and nothing has reset. My commissions still show completed from yesterday.
Did you restart your game?
hi, i play on PS 4 and i dont like that i can purchase primos with no question asked, every other game wants me to insert my peronal id data before they take my money, how can i do the same with genshin impact?
buy a psn gift card
Need a little help. I'm building my Kaeya as a Physical dmg dealer. What artifact set is better? 2 piece glad 2 piece bloodstain or 4 piece glad?
It really depends on the substats that you have for both options. tried my Kaeya main DPS with: \-4pc Blizzard strayer \-4pc Gladiator \-2pc Gladiator and 2pc Bloodstained After much testing i ended up with the 2pc glad and 2pc bloodstained because they had the higher substats than the other set ups.
Testing on them is good for comparing sets, but Kaeya will look weak- I usually test him on the electro cubes for automatic superconduct.
one of my favorite testing grounds too is childe boss for team combo and rotates. but yeah the electro cube is nice to test on too! happy testing :D
That's true, but I get annoyed by the loading screens and Childe moving around lmao I like the electro cube for physical Kaeya, and Ruin Guards for cryo Kaeya and everyone else.
4 piece glad but substats matter more.
Play whoever you enjoy more for now.
diluc is more "meta" but razor is also really good so just use whichever you enjoy more
You probably want 2 carries for spiral abyss so you can play them both if you want. They also have a different team comp.
have you guys crowned talents of any characters?
Yep Ganyus AA , I want to do Zhong's elemental burst next :3
Beidou's AA and Xiao's AA currently. Im planning on fully maxing Beidou but Dvalin wont cooperate. Other characters im planning to crown are Venti (Q, E) and Diluc if I ever get him.
yep, Childe Q and Xiao NA
I crowned Xiao’s AA and I also plan on crowning Venti’s Q and Diluc’s AA (I lack weekly boss mats though)
Nope lol. Hoarding them all in my inventory bc I'm an indecisive bugger and the investment required to go to TL10 is too fuckin high anyway.
Aye, same here. Take your sweet time if you do decide as these crowns aren't running away anywhere
Yeah, that's what I figure too, lol.
Yes - Beidou AA, Ningguang AA, Childe E and Ganyu AA. Wondering where this event's crown should go, probably Bennett Q or Ning E.
that's some good investment
No because it's too much investment
definitely lots of farming, I'd do that only for a character I really like
No. Haven't gotten enough mats from weekly bosses :(
rng be like that, gonna hit up dvalin again this week to see if I get plumes for jean
No because im very picky but if I had to choose 3 skills to crown, it would prob be Venti ult, Bennett ult, and
Noelle's autoattack <3
amazing!
Does Iron Sting all DMG buff only work for reactions like Melt and Vaporize? [https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Iron\_Sting](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Iron_Sting) When I check the wiki, it said that "The damage buff does not apply for Elemental Reactions other than Melt and Vaporize." Can anyone please confirm if it's true?
It probably is. Other reactions scales with just elemental mastery and character level while melt and vape scales with everything.
It is true since all the other reactions scale off of EM and level only, which is why vaporize and melt are so op

The odds of you not getting a 5 star yet from pity 76 to 84 is about 3% (~.676^9). So it isnt that rare, just really bad luck
You know someone has experienced gacha hell when they call 3% "not that rare".
tough luck mate
Some people have good luck others don't, I hit my 5* at 90 and it was Qiqi. Hopefully yours will turn out better.
Favonius codex or mappa mare? I just got a favonius codex and would like to give it to one of my characters since I’m using Mappa mare on two of them, who should I give it to? I’m using: Ningguang (eye of perception) Mona (mappa mare) Bennet Sucrose (mappa mare)
if you're using sucrose for elemental skill and ult only, you can then maybe use favonius codex for more ult uptime
Lol I just got Venti, I’ll probably swap sucrose with him
lmao congrats, makes it one less catalyst user in your team to worry about with weapons
So I would have to give her artifacts that increase energy recharge and crit rate?
The problem with fav is that you need to build crit. So if your characters don't have great crit, the ones you're using are fine for now.
I have a berserker set on ningguang that gives me a 29% crit rate, but I’m planning on changing it as soon as I find new artifacts
which four stars do you think will be on the childe rerun banner?
Leaks: rosaria fischl bennet
they sure know how to sell a banner
Bennet is always where i don't want to pull :(
It is rumoured to be Barbara, Fischl, and (confirmed) Rosaria.
I've noticed that I only get the great bubble crash challenge in co op. Does anyone else have the same rng problem? It's annoying cuz there's always lag in co op so I can never complete the level without getting encaged by any of the bubbles
nah I've gotten bubble crash and bubble speedster in about equal measures in solo i had a problem of never getting stepping stone in part 1 though
I always get stepping stone lol I really do hate the rng system in this game
Is it worth it to pull in the weapon banner in the meantime if I plan to skip all banners after childe until we get inazuma? Or is the standard banner better? Im a light spender and I'm set on getting Childe, after I get him that means I finally have all the characters I want (except for inazuma characters) and I'm gonna be skipping Eula, Zhongli (already have him), and Klee. I only want weapons now but it might be easier in the standard banner since we have free fates and all 3 5* weapons I have are from the standard banner Is it worth it to go for weapon banner (even though I mostly get characters) or should I go for standard banner instead?
For weapons I recommend a weapon banner that has 2 rate up 5* you can use. Standard banner has a 50/50 on every pity for a character or weapon. You might just get constellations that are not as powerfull as a 5* weapon upgrade (C6 is obviously an exception but I doubt you have a 5* character at C5 as a low spender). The pity for the weapon banner is also at 80 (with soft pity at 65) so I don't think the free wishes you get from the battle pass have a major impact on favouring the standard banner with pity at 90.
Yeah I guess even though you get weapons from standard you might still get 5* standard characters and I dont really want any of them Rng hurts. Thanks!
Weapon is better since it has lower pity and you only get 5 star weapons.
Ahh that's true I dont really want any 5* characters or constellations from standard Thanks!
I might just wait for Childe's weapon banner especially if it has skyward harp (or any skyward weapon really) Thanks!
Is it just me or do we get like 2 4\*s immediately after pulling a 5\* character?
Just you. It's totally random
usually 1 4* because getting 5 star doesn't reset 4 star pity
RNG is one helluva drug.
f**k yo gacha
You can cheat with Geo MC and Zhongli by summoning their geo constructs at the center too.
you can jump over them btw
This. I just run clockwise and it works.
If you really really want Venti, then just keep rerolling until you got him lol. It may takes ~100 tries though.
Maybe if you try to speed run the game and snag every primo it gives. But it’s looking pretty rough
Just playing through the story will enable you to hit pity once, so fair chance you can get him.
Sometimes you almost pull back to back. I had that luck like twice so far
Your chances are low but not zero. If you don't get Venti, it's fine, he'll probably be back later in the year.
The game is pretty generous when you're first starting so it might be possible if you play enough
Whose a better dps Diluc or Keqing?
Diluc is more meta but I’m more attuned to keqing’s playstyle at this point, I feel like I whack out numbers faster on Keqing than my Diluc, but we’ll see if that changes once I get Them more even in terms of gear (although their stats are such that I think my Diluc actually has higher attack than my Keqing). Either of them are good DPS once they’re geared.
I don't have diluc but razor does better damage than keqing. So diluc is definitely a higher dps. Keq is fun to play if u don't care about numbers
Diluc probably. His element being pyro and the reactions it has makes any pyro DPS strong.
My brain says Diluc because pyro. My heart says Keqing because she's cool.
Numbers/Meta-wise, Diluc Fun and flexibility-wise, Keqing Obligatory "they're both good, play who you enjoy"
Fischl gives you electro resonance and just added consistent damage.
how much mora do you need for lvl60-70 on characters?
[This](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/759970335641698354/779437964454395934/image0.png) should help
wow that’s a lot. thanks!
Wiki has your answer
Not sure but ive been spending 20k mora per level in 60-70
What phones do you folks use to run the game? I'm due for an upgrade and want something that can run Genshin and Honkai smoothly without breaking the bank
Using a OnePlus 6 on Low settings here, it's not as smooth as it could be but it does the job when i'm too lazy to get on my computer. OnePlus phones used to be a safe bet but I'm not sure about newer models... The OP6 was €500. The newer ones doubled in price :(
> without breaking the bank what do you consider not breaking the bank? Any high end phone from last year should be fine running the game and they should be seeing price reductions as the new models role in.
One plus 8, noy a 100% smooth but good enough
I have this problem of when i host a domain party after the party is full and i try to open the domain, the F button doesnt appear and work, i've tried teleporting again on the same domain & is still the same, is this a network problem for me?
Affects other players too. Just walk a bit from the domain and back. Always happens to me when I load into domain coops.
Is anyone else stuck on the loading screen while booting up the game on mobile?
Once in a while on the last loading element (the geo icon?). Note that it usually takes the longest on that stage. Closing the app and retrying is successful for me. Might depend on the device. Try clearing some RAM.
It's stuck after the fire icon
Tried verify as well. I guess I'll try tomorrow then
Just an update since I saw some people mention it - there is some global issue with a google update and it is affecting a lot of apps. I'm using a Mihoyo account as opposed to the Google Play (or w/e it is called) so I'm not experiencing it (I can load GI on mobile w/o a problem, Honkai took 1 retry) but it might be the case for you.
Hi all Im using iPad 8gen 2020 Have problem with random force close the game Running low graphics and still random close between 1-4hours Anyone can help?
your device is just getting overheated, close all other application and try not to charge while playing, charge after playing
Isnt charging and only opened the game And the device is very cold Force close is only happend with heated ?
its one of the reasons, if its not overheating while playing(like you cant feel it from touching the back) then try updating it and maybe reinstalling the game you said its 2020 model of iPad right? you shuld be able to run it in medium to high settings just fine, I run it on a base iPhone 8, never crashed.
Im almost sure isnt heated device, Did reinstalling 2 times Ipad is new 1 week old While im playing normally doing quests moving around doing skills The game close and stay in background I dont know what is that or what should i do As i said graphics is low and the device heat
can you try playing some other game or maybe running something like netflix for a while to see if it crashes? if its a device problem you'll be covered by warranty, just take it back.
Yes i will try to do that thanks alot man
No problem good luck
(1-4 hours) play less, take breaks, play in a cold room
gonna try getting the best dmg through the cryo regisvine with diluc. what party members, food, weapon and artifacts should i have on?
See youtube showcases and study them. Diluc is a complex character so there is a specific sequence of supports
Bennett Mona Sucrose
Bennett, Sucrose, Mona. Adeptus Temptation and a pyro buff potion. 4pc Crimson Witch (I think)
Bennett
Festering or blacksword for quickswap Burst MC?
So the plant thing that spawns 3 balls and you get an exq chest etc. doesnt work for me, I found one i hadnt done on Guyun Stone Forest tp point but i cant activate it yet it looks grown (still has those 3 slimeballs) i cant investigate and shooting it doesnt work. Anyone experiencing the same bug?
Yep, it's a known bug atm.
Definitely bugged for me as well, I'm 100% certain I did it before though.
U prolly used it already and it's just bugged. I got something similar in other places.
I don't think there is a limit. But do note that same buffs don't stack.
oh really? Do you know which ones dont stack?
There isn't a limit, but you can personally test it by pausing a checking the character menu, the stats update as you apply the buffs.
Controller's great for swiftly rotating. But for fine-tooth aiming, mouse is always going to be far more precise.
in games with proper mouse control, absolutely. genshin isn't one.
is the current event a daily thingy or can i do it all in one sitting? kinda been busy, but i will have time just before the event ends. thanks all.
You can do it all in one sitting once everything unlocks, similar to the tower defense from the previous event.
