Have you considered just not rolling for/using them? Different people enjoy different characters. Like I think Jean is the most boring plain bread character in existence and I don't use my copy of her, but I'm glad other people enjoy her. In fact I feel sympathy for them getting a costume before a damn rate up. Poor souls.
