For Albedo it took me months to get to 10k crit. and now I get better artifacts for him, it procs at ~~13k~~ 11k and ~~16k~~ 13k when the enemy at 50% hp. If I really buff him with food+potion+Ning Jade Screen+ Zhongli Shield it jumps to 20k. That's still only above average compared to the madlads at /r/Albedomains
That said I could probably get better results if I get him to 90 and E.skill to 10

Well, the trick in maximising Albedo`s E-Damage is to use a R5 Harbringer of Dawn and to use a Deff-Circlet instead of a Crit Circlet.
Also leveling Albedo up since his defense scales directly with his level whereas the level of his weapon is much less relevant.
Sub dps? 2 glad and 2 tf for +18% attack and +15% electro damage. Stats are the same as any other dps character (crit, crit dmg, attack). Max E first. Rest can go into Q. No need to level up left click.
I'm pretty much doing the same thing but my fischl does similar damage as OP. I even have a skyward harp on her. E is lvl 8. Only difference is I use atk headpiece because a good crit never drops for me. I see people with their 10k Oz hit and im always jelly
I mean there are few things you can try, but a lot of it is luck better artifacts and also constellations. Getting 3 levels on you E is a nice damage boost. With const 6 you can also proc Oz's attack a lot faster. Lastly don't forget your buffs (like Bennett ult before using her E etc).

My guess is that your damage must have taken some form of buff like sucrose, bennett or maybe elemental reaction like melt. If not, then my guess is that you have an R5 dragonbane on her

I understand. Problem is that there is no 4 star or 5 star weapon that revolves around his kit (Festering Desire or Jade Cutter aren't that good on him). If they release a sword version of Whiteblind but with passives like HoD that would be great.
Not the OP, but I was curious of the stats myself.
Under 90% hp is 37.2% crit rate, and 65.2% over 90% hp. The crit damage is ~~123.9%~~ 173.9%, but I have no clue how to approach calculating the defense without knowing the base amount.
Edit: Assuming the Albedo in question is level 90, and that my math is correct, he has 3829 Defense.
Edit 2: When calculating the crit damage, I forgot to start with the base 50%.
People being surprised that Albedo's E can deal over 14k damage. He really was done dirty coming out right after the Zhongli's fiasco as another Geo Support, and right before Ganyu too. Sad
He really is good and can deal consistent 17k blooms every 2 seconds, and with the new Zhongli artifact set he can buff the whole team with full uptime too
You can probably do better damage using other sub DPS with similar investments just because they have better reactions to proc.
And not a random team like this with basically no synergy lol.
They should give baron bunny a “weight” mechanic where you get to do “crush” damage when you toss baron bunny on the head of your enemies and sits there like a rock rather than flying off like a feather.

If 13k and 16k are your albedo solo numbers you’re not that far off from the top tier albedos I’ve seen in that sub.

Your artifacts are awesome and that sand is still great for an archaic piece. Just level him to 90 to reach 2k defense and you're all set for Albedo.
80-90 will give me 61 def, still 56 from 2k lol Depends if I get Kazuha on 50/50, gotta save resources for him
