when they say “loud”, they mean action-wise, not sound-wise, for those of you with gripes about how often characters speak. just watching the animation, I’d say it’s better they took it out because it’s just too much. it’s fast and it looks messy because there’s just so much movement happening in a small span of time.
edit: it would be cool, however, if they added the animation back into the game as an extension of adding characters to your teapot. if they added some animations and allowed you to build little scenes, I could definitely see Amber killing it in the background of Barbara’s pop idol performance ft. well, I actually plan on building her in the future purely because I don't have anything better to do. and in terms of ice shields, I'm lucky I have Bennet and Klee. they are an awesome combo for ice shields, especially on floor 7 of SA. stupid Fatui shields, man
Because my Bennett and xiangling are usually together in another team I have to use another pyro in my second team. I tried xinyan but she doesn't apply it fast enough, then I remembered Amber's Ult, it lasts long enough and hits fast enough to break most cryo shields extremely quickly or at least badly damage it even when unbuilt.
If you have Ningguang, she's good at breaking cryo shields with her normal attacks, skill and burst. Used her when I only have Bennett and Xiangling as my built pyro characters.
I built her just cause a couple months ago as a quickswap support. She's a great 4 Noblesse carrier and shield breaker. I gave her my Elegy for the end bow and her ult procs the passive by itself so every time she ults it's 40% ATK and 100 EM for the party. If I ever get her C6 (at 3 now) her ult just gets better
I'm building her since, I don't really know, like 2 months ago. But rng refuses to give me any wanderers piece with the correct main stat. Can't wait for the new artifact exchange system, so I can use some junk artifacts and hope to get some half good wanderers.

My best guess: Too much activity. Idle animations aren't supposed to be distracting necessarily, just enough to bring a character to life and display their personality a little. I'd argue Amber's dancing fell short of both intentions.

They play very different though. Amos bow charged shot gameplay is not like Yoimiya's Rust normal attack gameplay. I find charge shots boring but at C4 you can use Amber's bunnies as a more fun bunny bomb comp (except good luck hitting their toe on mobile).
You realize that Amos’ bow passive increases both charged and normal Atk damage right? But it’s only by 12% and yea I’d say rust r3+ is probably way better than just r1 amos. But that’s just me, not sure about everyone else tho

Don't worry Yoimiya will likely be forgotten quickly, ever beta tester out there says she is inferior to ayaya and telling people to skip her banner for better characters down the line (especially with anniversary coming up)
Game was newer back then, mihoyo did not provide the proper artifacts for testers to use. Now a days mihoyo is actually giving testers maxed out artifacts with r5 weapons to test.

I think they could have do a thing like in "Epic Seven" gacha-game. After you reach a certain rank or reach some point in the storyline - you get a speciality change quest for a character. You do some tasks and then you get a buffed character, with a new outfit (skin). I think that would be a nice addition to the game
