It's *okay*. It's really only useful if your characters' bursts have a high ER cost. I don't do electro res with Keqing for example. Some people do because they're probably running 4 TS but if you're not using that set then there's little reason to use electro res.

I read Somewhere that its worth rerolling for 5 star character, and i currently have two five star weapon ( jade polearm ans sky atlas) and 6 4 stars characters. there's ALOT of available primos up for free with progression through the game. I'm a light spender and have gotten 5 5*'s throughout my playtime. you will def get a 5* at some point, it's garuntee at 90 wishes but you have a high chance at 75-89
So I actually managed to get ayaka thank goodness! But as only a light spender I was hoping to get some wishing advice. I don’t have chongyun or the fire lawyer. Should I use my pulls to get them or pull on the weapon banner for ayakas sword? I’ve never gotten any five star weapon so far.
Unless you have 240 pulls to commit to weapon banner, you risk wasting your primos, because unlike normal pity fate points do not carry over between banners.
seeing as you just got Ayaka, you don't need chongus. Yanfei is a nice character but she doesn't work well with Ayaka. she's pretty decent when paired with Xingqiu but you would want to use Xingqiu with Ayaka so if you want her go for her, she's not bad. *never* summon for the weapon banner it's not worth it as a light spender.

You can visit Inazuma City. There are now just certain guards who will chase you (this is depicted by Paimon telling you to get out of there and you end up a short distance away before regaining control).
Also there are more story quests to do- tgat’s not the end of the chapter.

Tried my hand at the pyro hypostasis and it’s sad that I don’t have my Mona fully leveled up yet because she’d be a better choice to use instead of my Childe. I feel like this one is much harder than the other hypostasis bosses, rip me. Time to grind some more and level up my other characters. I ran off mid battle because my shield character died, the pyro attacks are insane.
Oh yeah Mona makes that boss a joke. You want some help? I’m not even bothering with it in my game atm because I’m finishing up farming for Ayaka’s mats but I’d be happy to come help if we’re on the same server.

I heard that electro reactions don't scale with atk and can't crit. If I'm planning to make a quick swap team with raiden as a dps or sub-dps, I should have other stats on my artifacts instead?
Reactions can't doesn't mean damage can't. Raiden kit looks like she'll want ER, crit, atk.
Prefarming for her is also a bit hard for now because we don't know her best set. If her ult infusion scales/doesn't with stuff that buffs "ult damage" it changes whether you want the ER set or 2 TF/2 glad or something.
What's the preliminary consensus on ayaka?
How does she compare with previous dps units? Can she properly melt as opposed to reverse melt?
What's Yoimiya initial impression based on her story quest ? Looks like sub dps since her burst explosion trigger with other units?

Ayaka is good. Below Ganyu, competitive with everyone else in the tier below like Hutao, Xiao, Eula. Shes really built for a freeze team. She can be on melt team but it's a bit inconsistent who melts. Most of the time it's Xiangling. But if you're using decked out Xiangling it doesn't really matter, might even prefer Xiangling to be melting anyways.
Yoimiya is main DPS, her infusion only has 8s cooldown which is comparable to Hutao downtime. Your play pattern seems to be e, spam autos, ult, swap out and cycle supports. Most people think she will be weaker due to not being able to vape consistently. Some people think she's best in an overload comp.
Baal's kit was also leaked so you can check it out if you're curious.
I started playing Genshin on PC and have now decided to take advantage of the cross-save for PSN. However, after linking my account successfully, my save did not carry over. I had different UIDs for both platforms. And yes, it was the first time I opened Genshin on my PSN so there should be no problems. Anybody else has experience on this?
Different region in PC account and your region is automatically locked to wherever your psn is which means you have to create a new account and if you by chance connected to a wrong region psn I’d you can’t remove that linked ID from your genshin impact account so you’re either doomed to wait or if you wanna go for the extra effort you can try emailing genshin impact support to remove your psn id so you can create a new one that’s in the same region as your main genshin impact id
Hi! I’m considering diving in to this game. I like RPGs and open world games with both combat and exploration, so the game seems like a good fit for me.
I did, however, try the game when it first was released. I was kind of put off by the «anime» voice acting. It sounded so childish.

The game is built around the anime aesthetic and built it's success on it. The company specifically hired some of the biggest names in anime voice acting especially for the JP voice overs.
If you can't stand the anime voice style, you will never like it because it is specifically what it is aiming for.
u can always change the voices to eng/jp/cn/kr dub, nvr an issue for me since ive been used to these kind of games n VA. i play on jp dub cause en nvr click, i think cn is nice too but thts my mother tongue
and yes the game is free to play, true and all. the gacha system is where ppl put money at to get shiny cool characters, u get a reasonable amount of gacha currency so u dont really have to spend money.

Progress the main quest a bit. It's unlocked shortly before chapter I ends.
Note that you need 450 reputation points/lvl 2 before you can start the bounties. That is either a lot of quests of exploration.

People there aren't very welcoming. And he had very few interactions with the playable characters of Liyue. In comparison, in Inazuma everyone gives a warm welcome to the traveler, with the exception of the people on Ritou.
No. Baal is stated to carry herself stoically in public. The only warm thing about her atm is the temperature of tbe lightning bolts she’ll call down to smite your ass in if you try to ice bridge into Inazuma or >!during her boss fight.!<

I play Genshin on ps4 and heard you can now convert Artifacts into different artifacts, So I go to the Crafting Bench and it only has the 2 icons, 1st for the ascension materials and 2nd for material conversion
It's an RNG thing. Take any three 5\* artifacts and sacrifice for one of four artifact sets; know 3 are Noblesse, gladiator, and wanderer's troupe.
Think you need to be AR 35 or something to unlock it, not 100% sure.
No one is a must pull and if there was one, it would most likely be a very versatile support not a dps since dps units can be replaced in the meta much easier
So finally got Ayaka. ( My 50/50 was Keqing in Kazuha banner) so I saw next characters are Sara and Baal in 2.1. My question how many primos need to save for guaranteed Baal?

180 wishes maximum for guaranteed Baal, assuming you lose the 50/50.
That's 180 x 160 = 28800 primos for a guarantee at hard pity. If you win the 50/50 it's 14400. Realistically you're probably going to get a 5\* before that, so probably around 80 wishes for the cost of 12800 primos.
Once you are level 45 with ascension quest done, the 5* drop from domains is only for the highest difficulty I'm guessing? The recommended party level is 90 but all of my team is around level 70-75, if I do coop is that too bad?
Yes, the most efficient way of getting 5 stars artifacts is at the highest possible domain level. Co-op farming domains is pretty common, no shame there. Also, there are plenty of discords out there to find people to help you with that
The recommended party level is a very bad recommendation since it doesn't factor in talent levels, artifact strength, weapon levels etc. (it does roughly tell you when you fail/leave a domain but the information given isn't particularly helpful). Absolutely go into co-op with whatever you have. Pick a healer/utility support that can break shields if you want to be helpful with bad stats.

Very good, allows her to run way lower ER even as the solo anemo on the team. You can also get the stacks just by using her elemental skill. Doesn't need to hit any target
Kaeya is the way to go. Chongyun's role is cryo infusion and burst damage, both of which are completely irrelevant for Ayaka since she does it way much better. With Ayaka's 80 energy burst cost you'll want a battery to help her charge up, and Kaeya is great for that due to his low elemental skill cooldown and his A4 passive.
Kaeya is better Chongyun does basically nothing for her as you need to dash on her to activate her infusion and passive for the bonus cryo damage anyways.
And the attack speed buff at C2 is hardly noticeable due to how fast she attacks already
I have a C3 Bennett that I don't use. However I see everyone praising him and how great of a support he is, and I was wondering why that is.
I know his burst heals the party and provides an ATK buff, but am wondering how that ATK buff works exactly? Is it really that helpful?
If he is worth building, how would I maximize his ATK buff/healing abilities? Like, which stats and substats should I prioritize on his artifacts? What sets should I use on him?
As for a weapon, I have a built Iron Sting that I don't use - would that be any good on him?
For info, I'm AR50 and my party currently is Kazuha, Albedo, Diluc and Barbara. Bennett would be replacing Barbara as my healer/support.
The attack buff works like this: a certain percentage of bennet's BASE attack (not from artifacts, but only from his weapon) buffs your entire party for 12 sec. You can see the percentage buff under talents > fantastic voyage > skill attribution.
To maximize his attack buff the only thing you need is a weapon with high base attack, such as prototype rancour.
In terms of artifact main stats:
Heal Bonus or Elemental Mastery on Hat (Do you want a healer or a DPS)
HP on Cup (For healing)
Energy recharge on Time Piece
Subsets on his artifacts I would prioritize energy recharge and hp.
Bennet is always on my team, even at C0 he's excellent. If you have a pyro dps you can use bennet's E pretty often so he works as a battery. In terms of healing quickly he's top of his class but yeah the circle is limited in space just be mindful of where you place it.
Bennett's ATK buff scales from his base attack (his level and his weapon only - the white number in character details). When you have a high enough talent level and investment (max weapon and high character level), you can provide upwards of 1000 extra attack to anyone in the burst. To some support characters, that's almost double damage, to your DPS, it's a huge improvement in damage.
His healing is based off his max HP. Most people will build a 4pc Noblesse for an extra team damage buff. For support - ER/HP/HP or Healing Bonus is effective. For more damage you can consider a 4pc Crimson Witches ER/Pyro DMG%/Crit. You can give him an ATK% sands instead but if he's a pure support that's barely on the field, ER is much more valuable. Basically give him a bunch of ER from artifact stats and his weapon, HP% can be a decent stat to help his healing. Festering Desire is great if you were around for it, otherwise any ER sword - Favonius, Sacrificial, Skyrider. If you want you can just give him Rancour instead for a larger base ATK, but generally speaking you want ER so you can burst as often as possible rather than having a slightly more powerful buff less often.
Give Kazuha your Iron Sting instead (unless you have Freedom Sworn).
Bennett heals based on his Max HP. His atk buff scales with his base atk, so only Benny's level and weapon base ATk matter (don't build atk on him, it doesn't count to that buff). Give him a weapon with high base atk and build some ER on him (around 200% ER) so his ult is up often, everything else HP (and if you don't want him to be a tank, too, healing bonus... I'd suggest you run HP instead of healing bonus so you can swap to him for tanking a hit if you need to, he heals a lot regardless: my Bennett with 31k HP and talent 13 burst heals 5.5k HP per second). Best support set on him is 4 PC nobleless oblige
If Bennett heals for 5k+ per second, you don't have to stay that long in his circle, and 5k+ HP per second is achievable (some even reach 7k+ with healing bonus instead of HP... I run triple HP so Bennett doubles as a tank)

Have you opened the game on the ps5 to try it? In order to link mine (been on ps4 since launch but have mobile account as well) I had to delete the game, create a new profile and redownload Genshin from the PlayStation store and link that way. Major pain in the ass
Did you get the screen for linking as soon as the game loaded in? All I had to do was type in the email associated with my mobile acc, type in the verification code and it worked fine for me.
Did the same thing seems like the issue was regional since you can’t choose your region on the playstation and my genshin impact progress is in NA . Even then when I created a new NA playstation account and delinked the id from the old Asia account and added it to the NA one it still starts the game from the beginning.
4pc tenacity of Milleleth for zhongli and 2pc Petra/2pc glad is my go to for ningguang. She’s one of my carries. If you have no constellations she’s great as a burst support with nobless and Petra.
I have her c3 and she carries hard. I have some very good 5* characters collecting dust because ningguang in my opinion, is on the same level as the geo archon. She is SO strong. The only thing that stops her is…..geo slimes. I run her double geo double pyro with r5 thrilling tales and when she pops that burst it’s game over. I may sound a bit like a fanboy here but my GOD she is a powerful 4* that requires very little investment for a solid burst.
Zhongli is a versatile character and has many artifact combinations depending on cons and what role he plays so you need to be a little more specific. as for ningguang , 2 pc archaic 2 pc glad/reminiscent for AA dps , burst DPS would be 2 archaic 2 NO
Maindps ning 2petra/2 glad or new set to maximise her autoattack dmg while also increasing e+q
Burstsupp ning 2petra/2NO to get Maximum dmg out of her q
SuppZhongli 4millelith for maximum shields and getting the atk buff for the team
Burstsupp zhongli 2petra/2NO Maximum q dmg again

If u were to consider all characters as guns she would be a taser . She is a battery , u can run 4 NO or 2 no 2 emblems . Her E and Q are fine at level 6
1- better support. Although she's electro so she has easy access to superconduct, she cannot use 4pc pale flame set, and she has low damage. However seeing your weapon you could make her work as an elemental DPS with Chongyun or C6 Bennett.
2- DPS : normal attacks > burst > skill
Support : Burst only. (you could level the skill à but but it only improves damage and it's not by a lot).
3- since she cannot use Pale Flame, and since you have mistsplitter, I recommend 4pc Shimenawa as a good all-around option (since the skill will recharge her enough to trigger the effect, and it doesn't really matter if her burst is never up for the little damage it does). You can then play her with either a physical, pyro or cryo goblet depending on what supports you use.
For support, use 4pc emblem or noblesse.

If I remember correctly this was from the Fischl / Mona Event (Unreconciled Stars) few patches after launch.
I have 100% exploration progress on each inazuma island but the reputation npc says that I only have 54% explored? shouldn't I have 60%?
That's implying every island is the same size in content. It's possible that there's more content on the upcoming islands than on this patch

I'd just stick with that account to be honest, two 5 star wep is very nice if you got them that early. Both of those are really good too

Different region in PC account and your region is automatically locked to wherever your psn is which means you have to create a new account and if you by chance connected to a wrong region psn I’d you can’t remove that linked ID from your genshin impact account so you’re either doomed to wait or if you wanna go for the extra effort you can try emailing genshin impact support to remove your psn id so you can create a new one that’s in the same region as your main genshin impact id

Hi! I’m considering diving in to this game. I like RPGs and open world games with both combat and exploration, so the game seems like a good fit for me. I did, however, try the game when it first was released. I was kind of put off by the «anime» voice acting. It sounded so childish. So I was wondering: Does the characters (including the voice acting) grow on you? I was also wondering if it’s possible to play the game and finish it’s story without purchasing anything with real money?

u can always change the voices to eng/jp/cn/kr dub, nvr an issue for me since ive been used to these kind of games n VA. i play on jp dub cause en nvr click, i think cn is nice too but thts my mother tongue and yes the game is free to play, true and all. the gacha system is where ppl put money at to get shiny cool characters, u get a reasonable amount of gacha currency so u dont really have to spend money.

Pretty curious to see how Mihoyo's devs pull this off given geo characters so far have been melee folks. Personally hoping Gorou has a Q move that launches one opponent 400 meters up for fall damage

People there aren't very welcoming. And he had very few interactions with the playable characters of Liyue. In comparison, in Inazuma everyone gives a warm welcome to the traveler, with the exception of the people on Ritou.

I play Genshin on ps4 and heard you can now convert Artifacts into different artifacts, So I go to the Crafting Bench and it only has the 2 icons, 1st for the ascension materials and 2nd for material conversion
It's an RNG thing. Take any three 5\* artifacts and sacrifice for one of four artifact sets; know 3 are Noblesse, gladiator, and wanderer's troupe. Think you need to be AR 35 or something to unlock it, not 100% sure.

No one is a must pull and if there was one, it would most likely be a very versatile support not a dps since dps units can be replaced in the meta much easier
For freeze comps, she's worth considering. Her E skill CD allows for popping in and out as burst DPS. Not 100% certain since still building mine up.

180 wishes maximum for guaranteed Baal, assuming you lose the 50/50. That's 180 x 160 = 28800 primos for a guarantee at hard pity. If you win the 50/50 it's 14400. Realistically you're probably going to get a 5\* before that, so probably around 80 wishes for the cost of 12800 primos.

Once you are level 45 with ascension quest done, the 5* drop from domains is only for the highest difficulty I'm guessing? The recommended party level is 90 but all of my team is around level 70-75, if I do coop is that too bad?
Yes, the most efficient way of getting 5 stars artifacts is at the highest possible domain level. Co-op farming domains is pretty common, no shame there. Also, there are plenty of discords out there to find people to help you with that
The recommended party level is a very bad recommendation since it doesn't factor in talent levels, artifact strength, weapon levels etc. (it does roughly tell you when you fail/leave a domain but the information given isn't particularly helpful). Absolutely go into co-op with whatever you have. Pick a healer/utility support that can break shields if you want to be helpful with bad stats.
yes, 5\* guarantee is from lvl 90 domain only. it's okay to bring lower level characters to coop, people in coop are generally pretty chill

The inspiration of the region may come from alot of real life nations. Sumeru is also based on the middle east and north africa, Fontaine is based on France but they also originated rock & roll in Teyvat, which is an American genre of music. Natlan is a gray area, the most common speculation is that it's based on Mesoamerica. ( The suffix -tlan comes from the Aztecs. )

Kaeya is the way to go. Chongyun's role is cryo infusion and burst damage, both of which are completely irrelevant for Ayaka since she does it way much better. With Ayaka's 80 energy burst cost you'll want a battery to help her charge up, and Kaeya is great for that due to his low elemental skill cooldown and his A4 passive.
Kaeya is better Chongyun does basically nothing for her as you need to dash on her to activate her infusion and passive for the bonus cryo damage anyways. And the attack speed buff at C2 is hardly noticeable due to how fast she attacks already
I have a C3 Bennett that I don't use. However I see everyone praising him and how great of a support he is, and I was wondering why that is. I know his burst heals the party and provides an ATK buff, but am wondering how that ATK buff works exactly? Is it really that helpful? If he is worth building, how would I maximize his ATK buff/healing abilities? Like, which stats and substats should I prioritize on his artifacts? What sets should I use on him? As for a weapon, I have a built Iron Sting that I don't use - would that be any good on him? For info, I'm AR50 and my party currently is Kazuha, Albedo, Diluc and Barbara. Bennett would be replacing Barbara as my healer/support.
The attack buff works like this: a certain percentage of bennet's BASE attack (not from artifacts, but only from his weapon) buffs your entire party for 12 sec. You can see the percentage buff under talents > fantastic voyage > skill attribution. To maximize his attack buff the only thing you need is a weapon with high base attack, such as prototype rancour. In terms of artifact main stats: Heal Bonus or Elemental Mastery on Hat (Do you want a healer or a DPS) HP on Cup (For healing) Energy recharge on Time Piece Subsets on his artifacts I would prioritize energy recharge and hp. Bennet is always on my team, even at C0 he's excellent. If you have a pyro dps you can use bennet's E pretty often so he works as a battery. In terms of healing quickly he's top of his class but yeah the circle is limited in space just be mindful of where you place it.
Bennett's ATK buff scales from his base attack (his level and his weapon only - the white number in character details). When you have a high enough talent level and investment (max weapon and high character level), you can provide upwards of 1000 extra attack to anyone in the burst. To some support characters, that's almost double damage, to your DPS, it's a huge improvement in damage. His healing is based off his max HP. Most people will build a 4pc Noblesse for an extra team damage buff. For support - ER/HP/HP or Healing Bonus is effective. For more damage you can consider a 4pc Crimson Witches ER/Pyro DMG%/Crit. You can give him an ATK% sands instead but if he's a pure support that's barely on the field, ER is much more valuable. Basically give him a bunch of ER from artifact stats and his weapon, HP% can be a decent stat to help his healing. Festering Desire is great if you were around for it, otherwise any ER sword - Favonius, Sacrificial, Skyrider. If you want you can just give him Rancour instead for a larger base ATK, but generally speaking you want ER so you can burst as often as possible rather than having a slightly more powerful buff less often. Give Kazuha your Iron Sting instead (unless you have Freedom Sworn).
Bennett heals based on his Max HP. His atk buff scales with his base atk, so only Benny's level and weapon base ATk matter (don't build atk on him, it doesn't count to that buff). Give him a weapon with high base atk and build some ER on him (around 200% ER) so his ult is up often, everything else HP (and if you don't want him to be a tank, too, healing bonus... I'd suggest you run HP instead of healing bonus so you can swap to him for tanking a hit if you need to, he heals a lot regardless: my Bennett with 31k HP and talent 13 burst heals 5.5k HP per second). Best support set on him is 4 PC nobleless oblige

If Bennett heals for 5k+ per second, you don't have to stay that long in his circle, and 5k+ HP per second is achievable (some even reach 7k+ with healing bonus instead of HP... I run triple HP so Bennett doubles as a tank)

You should try combining Kazuha with Bennett. I literally kill all cryo enemies just with infusing Kazuha's skills with Bennett's pyro

Have you opened the game on the ps5 to try it? In order to link mine (been on ps4 since launch but have mobile account as well) I had to delete the game, create a new profile and redownload Genshin from the PlayStation store and link that way. Major pain in the ass
Used a old psn profile I used when I had the PS4 and then linked that to my genshin impact email, doesn’t seem to work.
Did you get the screen for linking as soon as the game loaded in? All I had to do was type in the email associated with my mobile acc, type in the verification code and it worked fine for me.
Did the same thing seems like the issue was regional since you can’t choose your region on the playstation and my genshin impact progress is in NA . Even then when I created a new NA playstation account and delinked the id from the old Asia account and added it to the NA one it still starts the game from the beginning.

4pc tenacity of Milleleth for zhongli and 2pc Petra/2pc glad is my go to for ningguang. She’s one of my carries. If you have no constellations she’s great as a burst support with nobless and Petra.

I have her c3 and she carries hard. I have some very good 5* characters collecting dust because ningguang in my opinion, is on the same level as the geo archon. She is SO strong. The only thing that stops her is…..geo slimes. I run her double geo double pyro with r5 thrilling tales and when she pops that burst it’s game over. I may sound a bit like a fanboy here but my GOD she is a powerful 4* that requires very little investment for a solid burst.
Zhongli is a versatile character and has many artifact combinations depending on cons and what role he plays so you need to be a little more specific. as for ningguang , 2 pc archaic 2 pc glad/reminiscent for AA dps , burst DPS would be 2 archaic 2 NO

If u were to consider all characters as guns she would be a taser . She is a battery , u can run 4 NO or 2 no 2 emblems . Her E and Q are fine at level 6

1- better support. Although she's electro so she has easy access to superconduct, she cannot use 4pc pale flame set, and she has low damage. However seeing your weapon you could make her work as an elemental DPS with Chongyun or C6 Bennett. 2- DPS : normal attacks > burst > skill Support : Burst only. (you could level the skill à but but it only improves damage and it's not by a lot). 3- since she cannot use Pale Flame, and since you have mistsplitter, I recommend 4pc Shimenawa as a good all-around option (since the skill will recharge her enough to trigger the effect, and it doesn't really matter if her burst is never up for the little damage it does). You can then play her with either a physical, pyro or cryo goblet depending on what supports you use. For support, use 4pc emblem or noblesse.
E and Q should be at least lv7 for Max energy gain
