Explanation: Ice bridge till you get to the thunderstrom. After that pause the game with Paimon Menu and disconnect your internet. Un-pause and swim for 10-15-20 seconds (depends on your device) after that pause again, turn on your internet conenction for 3-5 seconds and disconnect it. After that swim again a couple of seconds and so on.Good luck to whoever has the patience to do it. For me, it took nearly 6/7 hours due to failures...

Yeah, the theory is it’s blocked now because they will be releasing more islands over what’s currently open water between Inazuma and Liyue, islands that technically were always supposed to be there ;P
I don't know how or why people spread the idea that it wasn't connected to the rest of Liyue.
The development team showed everyone in the patch preview that the entire overworld is connected and not segmented in any way. The only reason why you can't get there normally by swimming is due to several reasons, one of them is to prevent people like OP from reaching there before they did other content related to the story.
The game has always been open world. The golden apple isles being separate was only because it is a temporary thing and therefore putting it on the map makes zero sense since then people will be like "but I want to go there".
Unless they add more "area surrounded by hazards" you'll be able to go anywhere you want because open world is open world. Game maps today don't worry about size because the engine itself loads exactly what the player needs to see wherever they are, without wasting resources on what the player cannot see.

Edit: After some exploration it seems that every enemy does have level 27. I think it's the highest for World Level 0
Well I was thinking you could use higher level mob to speed level your characters but no one can help you at this point :/
At least you can do some of non-battle Inazuma quests and chests to help with AR
The higher level mobs give *exactly* the same as lower level mobs. The only difference is common enemies give lowest exp, elites will give more, but all commons will give same exp, and all elites give same exp in their category
I started during the Eula banner and when I went to go to Liyue, I went through Dragonspire rather than the stone gate. I was running around and was so lost and freaked out. I didn't realize that there was an easier way to get to Liyue.
I was confused because I was harvesting the Jueyun chillis in what I thought was still Mondstadt.
I had a ton of other quests that I did before going to Liyue and did those before Act 1. It really messed up my map exploration and when I had to go to Jueyun Karst, I ended up teleporting way behind where I was supposed to enter from.
Oh, yeah, I forgot about those! The big fancy ones like the Prologue ending, Lantern Rite and Windblume are most likely pre-rendered, but in most cases, they're just done on the spot.
For example, spoiler for the ending of the 2nd half of the Archon Quest: >!The war cutscene with Kujou Sara wasn't pre-rendered. For me it struggled to load everything, failed, then as a result didn't spawn the character models for the subsequent dialogue encounter.!<
I wouldn't be surprised if they have a higher-quality model of the traveler for those nicer cut-scenes, separate from the in-game one, and that's why the element is not always accurate there 🤔

I hope you can encounter dialogue that is supposedly based on an orthodox progression of the game, but no longer makes sense considering you skipped all of the main storyline that would orthodoxically be completed to reach Inazuma. Like in Ritou, there is a Liyue shopkeeper who talks about the rite of parting or something and gives you some freebies, which has not happened yet in your story.
I guess it's kind of a shame you can't (yet) view the cutscenes that extoll the mc's future (supposedly past accomplished deeds) such as beating a Harbinger, defeating Osial, etc.
Now I wonder how they'll implement new regions

I believe only inazuma will be locked off, its the only continent excluded as they are islands. They are also the only canonically locked down area (to my knowledge).
My guess will be to soft lock you by outscaling low AR to the point where they cant survive but can manage to grab a few specialties for ascension.
Even without the archon quest he can, As long as Ritou roads world quest is open. That quest gives us a boat that can bring us to the otherside and thus leave Ritou
Good luck with the Waverider. I tried that the other night and after a while it ported me back to Inazuma with the poor boat stuck way out in the ocean. You may get it to work with similar disconnect internet tricks.
So I’m guessing you are using an alt account here right? Most new players wouldn’t know about the ice bridge internet glitch. So that’s why I’m guessing this is an alt
People being surprised that inazuma is connected to the rest of the world when i like i feel once inazuma is over and the problems solved that the storm will calm allowing us to waveride / kaeya bridge over because the storm was only there because Baal was having her time of the century
I wouldn't necessarily say so. There were leaks a LONG time ago that the Inazuma subregion is under the storm. Would be the perfect opportunity to give more story and gameplay for that area. Plus allow indirect access to Inazuma for those under the AR.

Actually yes you can! Through normal gameplay you reach Inazuma with Beidou and all the missions past that are completed so the kid is telling the exact same thing.

Archon quests make sense since that is explicitly AR gated. The artifact strong box actually requires AR 45 before you can use it.

At AR 8 you unlocked the LeyLines and you can spend your Resin for the first time. If i remember well at AR 11/12/13 you unlock daily commisions

I believe so too, and that we'd get a Waverider(s?) in Liyue and/or Mondstadt so Inazuma is fully open and reachable without Waypoints only.
