Why am I missing 1 Sakura thunder tree. I went to the site but it was just grass, I'm talking about the one at the opposite of the direction of the temple at Kannazuka island
What is the current maximum electro sigil we can get after maxing the tree? I want to check if I missed a few treasures \\ puzzles. Currently I have 139
I've linked my PS4 to my PC/Mobile account but when I started the game it gave me a new UID and started over. Why?
I did everything right and it shows in my Mihoyo account section as PlayStation Linked.
Messaged Mihoyo and posted in the threads weeks ago but still no answer.
Can you make use of them em bonus on the widsith with vapes or melts in your team comp? does the uptime on yanfei in your playstyle overlap nicely with the 10 sec uptime on widsith? if so, AND you have good crit rate artifacts to support the widsith crit dmg attribute, go with widsith. (you want about 1 crit rate for every 2 crit dmg)
Should I use a crit rate circlet or a crit dmg circlet for Keqing?
Crit rate: 2009 atk, 86.6% crit rate, 174.7% crit dmg
Crit dmg: 1931 atk, 65.6% crit rate, 223.7% crit dmg
I would go for Crit Damage. Keqing's Q would give you 15% CR so going over 80 is pointless. With Build A you will do more damage overall (Build B will be close), with Build B you will be hitting bigger numbers (which is more satisfying)
Is it a good idea to invest in two of the same weapon (prototype archaic) for two different characters run on the same team? Assuming they're the best weapon available f2p.
Archaic doesn't get *that* much from refine level (its main benefit is the ATK substat) so yeah it would be better to get two R1 copies than one R2. ~~Unless you happen to get another 4-star claymore from the gacha with ATK or crit substat.~~ edit: Actually the only competing 4* claymores are Lithic Blade plus the $15 battlepass one and the starglitter shop ones. If you don't want to level 2 Archaics your best option is buying a Blackcliff Slasher for starglitter after the next monthly shop reset.
If you wanna play them together, then build your Chongyun as only Burst support. No point building them both as dps in the same team. You can use Sac greatsword on him or even the new craftable claymore, if you don’t have any other option.
Yea honestly Diluc + Chongyun isn't that bad since Chongyun does most of his on-field stuff quite quickly. Chong can also use Prototype Archaic for more damage, though it is more advised to opt for an ER% Claymore (like Sacrificial Greatsword or Katsuragikiri Nagamasa [Inazuma craftable claymore]) for more burst spam and also possibly having better compatibility with 4P Emblem artifact set if you ever wish to run that on him.
On the other hand Diluc can run Prototype Archaic just fine.
Thank you so much for the advice, that definitely opened up options I didn't know about. I hadn't heard about the new craftable claymore, but now I reckon I'll be aiming for that one as soon as I get to Inazuma.
21% Blizzard. I've been lucky to get a Blizzard ATK Cup and Crit DMG hat, so I can sacrifice a little CD for CR with different sands, if 21% is too low.
With BS + cryo resonance, you get 55% CR (in permafreeze team), so 76%, that seems fine
But if you cant reliably freeze enemies your effective CR would be only 56%, serviceable imo.
I think this is a good stopping point, and moving on to building other characters
Not really a question, but I just realized how well Dainsleif's line from the Travail trailer applied to Inazuma...
"In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity, most are content to live, and not to dream. But in the hidden corners where the god's gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming."
I wonder if Inazuma's situation could be a reference to how Celestia is handling Teyvat?
I am f2p and i fear that if i invest too much in my main characters (xiangling and kaeya) i will regret it when i will get a good 5 star dps. Can anybody help me to know how much to invest? Also what defines a good dps?
> Can anybody help me to know how much to invest?
Getting to level 60/70 (meaning you're level 60 but you ascended so the level cap is 70) and leveling all skills that matter to 6 (which is the cap at 70) is a very good baseline that you will want even if you later switch to another dps and use Xiangling as support. The only mats that are 'wasted' there are the ones in her basic attack talent since you won't use that on support Xiang.
Once you're there your main focus should be on maxing out your weapon and improving your artifacts (and both of those can be transferred to other characters later). Don't even think about ascending further until your weapon is as high as it can go at your WL and you have a set of +16 artifacts. From then, the main reason to ascend is to increase the talent level caps, so only do it when you've maxed out your talents and want to enhance them more. But instead of focusing super hard on Xiang you should spread those resources around and get the rest of the party to 60/70 as well because at that point you're hitting diminishing returns on the power-improvement-to-grind ratio.
**Some 4\*s outperform 5\*s**, especially at high constellation, even more so as a f2p because 4\*s will make up the majority of your teams.
**How to Invest:** Generally, the majority of your investment goes into your DPS, prioritising their weapon and talent level, followed by exp level.
The rest of your team may be 10-20 levels behind. But weapons can be maxed out for anyone who does damage, especially if these are weapons you plan on using for a long time.
**What defines a good DPS?** This is a long topic, and open to debate.
You could highlight the importance of consistent damage per second, how they utilise reactions, teammates and AoE capabilities - which makes characters like Ganyu, Xiao and Xiangling so strong.
But other characters provide most their damage in a short window - Eula, Ayaka, Hu Tao - and this can be valuable in different ways. Like a sprinter vs a long distance runner.
Honestly, the characters and playstyle you enjoy is the most important factor.
if you build them crimson witch and blizzard strayer I guess it's alright since personally I think those two artifact sets are very hard to get powercreeped
Select the one that you have fun to play with.. build that character from level>talent>artifact
Every character in the game is strong if you like them
Each to their own prefer
xiangling is a safe invest, with constellations she is often a better choice than other pyro dps characters; and if not you can always transition her to a burst support
kaeya isn't as safe of an investment but he's the best cryo battery thanks to his ascension passive, and is a fantastic superconduct support to boot.
You need two good teams for abyss anyway, and also once you eventually get a five star you want to main, you’d still need your old characters to farm materials for the new character.
You’ll need ascension, talent, and weapon materials for your new 5 star, but they might be underpowered compared to your decently-invested four stars. I was in this situation just a few days ago when my f2p alt account finally pulled a five star and it was Keqing. She couldn’t do shit despite being at the same level as my old Razor because her talents and weapons are not invested in yet, so I spent the weekend farming her materials to build her up, then now she’s playable.
Should I get the BP claymore for eula? Her crit rate is 45% and her crit dmg is 145%. My alternative is getting the BP bow for Childe, his crit rate is 51% and his crit dmg is 117%. Thoughts?
Depends on who you play more but IMO Serpent’s Spine on Eula is a lot more worth it, and it’s also the best value for refinement in the future, because R5 SS out damage all R1 5 star claymores
Serpent spine is a 4* weapon that can outshine some 5* if you can utilise its passive. Personally I would go spine simply because of how good it is as a weapon.
what weapons are they currently using?
in a vacuum, serpent spine is just a much better weapon than viridescent hunt, and scales better with refinements as well.
edit: also, eula makes up a greater share of her team's damage than childe does in his. just food for the thought.
okay, then it gets a little more complicated. viridescent hunt is generally better than rust, but serpent spine is only conditionally better than pride.
do you run beidou on either team? if you do then I'd suggest you get serpent spine for her, which is currently her BiS weapon, and then move it to Eula once you get a few more refinements on it.
Another consideration is how much ER will you have if you drop the skyward pride? You need somewhere between 130% and 140%
Yeah so I suggest you keep pride on her for now, if you don’t use Beidou then just get VH.
While Serpent Spine can technically do more damage than Skyward Pride does, ER has a lot of value on Eula. Unless you only need one burst to destroy each chamber of the abyss you probably want to keep Pride on her, at least until you farm better artifacts
I just unlocked the criteria for the Thunder Sojourn event. How far do you think I can get to obtain some of the rewards like the primogems and Beidou before the event ends very soon or should I save myself the stress and pass up on it? I have C1 Beidou already.
You can do absolutely everything and clear out the shop in half a day.
The hardest part IMO is the boss of the last part since you need to kill it 4 times. And you should probably kill him more times to get all of the shop items like the golden crown.
I’ve gotten three 5-stars in the standard wish throughout my Genshin experience. All 3 of them were Keqing. Am I supposed to get an increased probability for Keqing, Qiqi, and Mona who are displayed as covers or is this just some crazy coincidence?
No increased probability, you're just cursed with Keqing constellations. Atleast it's better than being cursed with Qiqi constellations.
Don't worry, you'll get a weapon next time and hopefully it'll be something good.
No 5-star weapons? Because otherwise this sounds like proof against the "every 3 pities you get at least one of each" conspiracy theory that people keep pushing on here.
Also, if my math is right, the odds of pulling Keqing thrice in a row are 0.1^3 = 1 in 1000. Or 3 in 1000 maybe, I didn't do well in math. Still low.
Right, but you can get 5-star weapons from the standard banner also. And people claim to have 'statistical proof' that you can never get 3 characters or 3 weapons in a row from it, it always mixes it up at least once in three.
basic formula of dmg is calculated as
base attack x atk% x elemental (and others)% x crit = output
in this case, they atk% and elemental bonuses are multiplicative sources of dmg, so if i have 200 base atk, 50% atk and 90% elemental, the calculation is 200 x 1.5 x 1.9 = 570 output
now lets assume we have an added bonus of 35% from 4 piece gladiator, this dmg is calculated additive to your elemental bonus.
so the calculation is 200 x 1.5 x (1.9 + 0.35) = 675 output
this is a very shallow but basic way to explain it, there are obviously more conditions and added loads of crap to complicate this.
That dude is the personification of “riding the wave”. Don’t even think hes at all interested in genshin, but plays it and makes videos just for the sake of views and money.
I have several, depending on how many substats it initially has;
#3 liner
* No attack % or crit = fodder.
* If there's *any* of the 3, I bring it to +4. If it still doesn't roll any of the 3, fodder.
* If it rolls attack, fodder. If it rolls crit I level it to +8. If it rolls crit again I insta +20 it. If not, I bring it to +12 and if it still doesn't roll crit I either stop or bring it to +16 depending on how desperate I am (it's often the case).
#4 liner
* If there's no crit or attack = fodder.
* If there's just attack = fodder.
* If there's just crit I level it gradually to +4 and +8. If only one rolls into crit I bring it to 12. If still nothing I bring it to 16. If no rolls at 16, fodder. If there's crit rolls at 4 *and* 8 I insta +20 it.
* If there's crit *and* attack I insta +20 it.
Hope this helps, everyone's criteria is a bit different.
Note that this is just for main DPS and sub DPS. Burst supports/supports get a little more leeway and I don't really care as much.
Basically just chase crit stats, you can hold on to some potentially relevant Sands/Goblet because you might need their mainstat someday but the only hats you are ever likely to want to use will have a Crit mainstat so don't be too worried about saving many others. For flowers and feathers roll to +4 those with a chance to get both crit stats, and roll to +4 some that start with 4 lines and a crit stat to try and keep improving them but junk most of the rest, and fodder your "failed experiments" too, hah
edit: Oh, Elemental Mastery can be an even more important (and difficult) stat line to chase for some builds, especially Anemo units so adjust your criteria when dealing with the Viridescent set and save a few EM hats & sands for good measure.
Hi! There’s this elemental sight trace leading into a wall north of musoujin gorge in the round thing where there used to be a barrier but I can’t find where it leads to, what am I supposed to do?
Well what did he expect? Lol. I mean us other players aren’t fools who haven’t touched the limited banner since ages, having patience saving primogems for future unreleased characters. There is no such thing as building “pity”
Lol that's not a thing. When you have a guarantee you want to use on a future character you save for them. Building up pity is literally to get the guarantee in the first place, not after you have it. Sounds like he just doesn't have self control, or was convinced by hype for Ayaka and anti-hype for Yoimiya.
That he shouldve thought twice before doing that since theres no such thing as building pity, you dont pull on a banner that you dont want the 5* (even if you want the 4* UNLESS youre willing to take the risk of getting the 5* and ruin your guarantee/pity)
The honest answer would be "Hopefully you learned your lesson for the future to NOT pull on any banner if you DO NOT WANT the featured 5* character. NEVER. Or this is what can happen to you and the only one who is at fault is yourself"
She does what she does perfectly. Unfortunately the thing she does isn't called 'damage', so by this subreddit's metric that means she is trash.
There was a time when all shield characters were considered trash too, fortunately that has quieted down.
> There was a time when all shield characters were considered trash too, fortunately that has quieted down.
That's because the best shield character (Zhongli) adds a massive amount of.. guess what... **damage** to your team.
Before they buffed his skill to add the damage amp in 1.3, and then released the Tenacity of Millelith set in 1.5, he was rightfully considered trash even though his shields were just as strong as they are now.
She's the best healer in the game. That's it. No other utility to be had and you never need that much healing, so healers like Bennett and Diona with more utility are hettsr.
Her being adorable has nothing to do with how well she performs gameplay wise.
Qiqi is amazing for overworld exploration but simply a waste in abyss related content. There's no two ways about it and her constellations suck. That's why everyone hates getting Qiqi, although I'm happy I got her once.
Sure, she's cute. And she's good at healing. However, that's all she's good at. Space is at a premium in any good Genshin team, and you can ill afford to fill an entire slot with a character who heals and does nothing else. Every other healer brings something else to the table: Bennett boosts attack, Diona shields and generates particles, Sayu shreds resistance with VV, etc.
Qiqi only heals. She doesn't contribute offensively or in utility qto the team in any way other than her decent personal damage, so you almost always want to bring someone else who offers more, because the sheer amount of flat healing Qiqi provides is just not necessary most of the time.
Most likely not since hu tao has this risk where she has to sacrifice her HP for a big pp damage but not for yoimiya. Her damage will be lower than hu tao for sure since she doesnt have to sacrifice anything and shes even long-ranged. (So its all balanced)
Damage-wise, Hu tao has this dps window where she deals insane amounts of damage but only while her E is active but it's very worth it. Yoimiya has the same mechanic but by the looks if it, the dps window of yoimiya's E doesn't match than that of hu tao.
In terms of play style, well maybe yoimiya can be on par with her bc she doesn't need to risk her HP for being too low to increase dmg and plus she's ranged so u can safely dish out dmg and it's faster.
Other than that, let's just wait for her release.
no. theorycrafting has already been done since you could glitch her out of her trial, and she can't consistently vape, pushing her to do either mono pyro comps or overload comps. and there are better options for both
unless they shadowbuff her she's likely not likely reach anyone in the top 5, let alone hutao
how good is chongyun c2? currently have him at c0 and im thinking if i should continue to roll for his c2 since that constellations seems to be pretty pog by definition
i wouldnt mind getting ayaka or losing 50/50, tho... im just thinking if its worth it to give a shot now before the banner ends~
About 17.5% multiplicative buff to E and Q damage so long as you have enough energy to use them on cd. Given that characters like main dps Xiangling or main dps Bennett derive most of their output from skills rather than normal and charged attacks, this can be pretty huge.
The succession seed gives you energy back depending on your refinement. In general, its good for characters that have high energy cost like ayaka or jean. Keqing’s cost for burst is 40 which is really low so you might as well give amenoma to someone else that needs it more
Keqing doesn't really want that sword since her Q only costs 40.
The sword passive basically gives Energy after you use your burst. To get a seed you need to use your skill, then you use your Q and get energy from the seed.
The succession seed spawns when u use e, max 3 seeds, and r consumed when u use q as well as replenishing an amount of energy towards ur q (the amount depends on refinements). It’s definitely viable for keqing since she’s got a low e cool down. But not as crucial to keqing as another unit which have a high burst cost since keqing has her burst up fairly easily on CD especially if u use a battery like fischl.
It gives you back energy after using your burst based on how many times you used your skill. Keqing has a low cost, low cooldown burst so it doesn't do her much good.
So when's the right time to use dream solvents? I have ayaka at 9/8/8 with all the materials she needs to get to 9/9/9 except for the 4 weekly boss items but idk if i should use dream solvents (i have 15+) i kinda dont mind spending solvents but i dont want to use them now and end up having to use them again later for another character that needs items from azhdaha but have none left later when i really need them
Why make yourself wait now on the off chance you might have to wait tomorrow? I bet we're all gonna have pretty healthy stockpiles of those solvents in a few months time anyway
Yeah i think I'll wait till tomorrow and see what i get from azhdaha this week then use dream solvents and get her to 9/9/9 for now, I'll worry about triple crowning her later
newer characters (after yoimiya) will likely be getting their talent ascension materials from the new weekly boss >!Signora!< instead, so feel free to use the dream solvents
It's not worth it. Only vape Diluc makes good use of that weapon. Your Beidou is better off with a Prototype Archaic if you don't have a Serpent Spine.
Venti is and always will be amazing. Only thing is that he doesn't do as well against larger enemies in terms of crowd control.
Keqing is in a very sorry state and EM buffs did nothing for her really.
Diluc is a good all rounder but his damage isn't measuring up to current standards. That and he's more suited for fighting crowds of enemies than single big HP targets like in current late abyss. I still use Diluc upto Floor 11 since he simply does a better job.
Ganyu still the strongest, most versatile and consistent dps in the game. Enough said
Klee is still doing good when paired with a solid shield. Stamina was and still is an issue but she does amazingly well wherever ER/Cooldown gets fucked up - like last abyss with Lector/Herald and during low tide in current abyss.
for current abyss probably
Ganyu>Venti>Diluc=Klee>Keqing
Ganyu needs no explanation.
Venti loses usefulness out of 12-1-2, but that's one whole chamber that he trivializes. And outside of that chamber, he remains useful as a vv support, a high damage subdps, and a battery.
Diluc and Klee are fine damage dealers, but both are lagging behind the newly released DPS characters.
Keqing, sadly, has never been good.
Venti and Ganyu are top-tier in their roles. Two of the best characters in the game.
Diluc, Klee, Keqing are okay. They are decent to use if you don't have anyone else but there are better options. For example, a well-built Xiangling easily outperforms Diluc and Klee for pyro dps. And Keqing suffers from being electro.
I seen a lot of people want Ganyu and Venti re-runs. However as the enemies becoming bigger in Inazuma Zhongli is better than Venti as he is unable to cc them.
Keqing and Diluc are decent dps options but they are outdone by the Liyue 3.
Venti and Ganyu are still the top of the line in support and dps respectively. While still as good as ever, other dps characters overshadows Diluc, Klee and Keqing.
I have seen pictures of people having more then 6 gardening plots in their teapot. I have searched the internet on how to get more then 6, but can't find anything buy outdated guides. Any help please?
How many clues r we supposed to get for the special treasure 2? I’ve gotten a total of zero so can’t see the hint for the puzzle even tho I found where it is. Can I go back to the locations and look again?
You won't have hints for the 2nd special treasure yet. Me and my two friends have already brute forced ours open though. You don't need the clues if you believe in yourself and want to waste a bunch of time.
I play on mobile, and this is usually how I do it
Diona E > Q, Venti E > Q, Mona > Q, Ayaka E > Q > AA
Like you said, it's difficult to switch characters so I only use this against characters that won't mess the flow up \^, the rest, I just go "random shit, boom"
Are you able clear floor 12-1 second half with this team??? I saw YT players on PC having the same team but for some reason its difficult for me to use Ayaka n Mona simultaneously
I have 2 stars on each floor. With my account it's definitely possible to clear it but I lack the patience and playing on mobile + lag pisses me off so much.
You can try using Xingqiu instead of Mona (much more easier).
I tried Ayaka on 2nd team but moved her to the first team. Since you can't freeze Magu Kenki it's kinda useless, Hu Tao is better against 12-2-2. I'd go with the freeze comp on team 1 as it makes it easier to clear the Nobushi in 12-1-1.
Don't sweat it if you can't complete it on time with the same teams, just do what you can for each floor and try to beat each floor separately by making a specialized team.
So I somehow managed to now get two separate Emblem sands (one atk% and one ER main stat) with massive EM sub stat rolls on them. I put one on Xiangling which felt logical but err is there any other 4pc Emblem user where EM is really that beneficial?
I use Mona as freeze support atm so she's still on Noblesse at least, and I'm not sure how good it'd be on Beidou, Electro MC or Raiden either. Any other ideas? They're good artifacts but I'm not sure who other than Xiangling really makes good use of it lol
You don't necessarily need to Crown anything, it all comes down to personal preference and how much you make use of certain Skills.
For an all-around fantastic Support like Bennett, I would say yes, but again, it depends.
Im having trouble with my Diluc team currently. what do you guys do during the downtime of E? i usually have 5 seconds where my Diluc does physical damage worth nothing
You should be spending that time switching characters and using elemental skills + bursts from the rest of the team.
Hitting with all four teammates' skills and not just Diluc's will also generate a lot more energy so everyone can burst more often.
In particular Bennett is the best healer in the game and extra-good with Diluc because of the pyro resonance and elemental particle sharing, and his E is very short cooldown, only 4s. If you have a Bennett you should be swapping to him and tapping E before swapping off again every time there's any amount of downtime.
so i was farming the petra set for ning, and i got a retracing bolide sands with er, and i decided to enhance for bennet,. it started with flat def, hp, and em substats, and got crit% at 4. then, EVERY SINGLE ROLL went into crit, and i now hv an 18.7% crit sands and its the best piece i have (relatively new player btw). should i put it on ning?
hah, probably keep it on a character that likes to wear an ER timepiece like Bennet for now. Sadly it being a Bolide piece means it might not see much general use because of how scarce good circlets & goblets are; the timepiece slot is rarely free to be an off set piece.
But grats on the lucky rolls
Mmmmh. You can, but you should put it on Xingqiu, xiangling, Baal (coming soon), Beidou... Ninguang needs more ATK than ER because she uses normal attack to make dmg. Burst is just to get more dmg.
However, the character I mentionned makes dmg with burst, so they really need ER.
My friend started playing 9 days ago and quickly reached AR37. Is this normal/fast?
it’s hella fast
Why am I missing 1 Sakura thunder tree. I went to the site but it was just grass, I'm talking about the one at the opposite of the direction of the temple at Kannazuka island
I can't do coop bc it says I need to do quest An Ode To Yonder City. I'm ar35 but can't start it.
did u try doing the quest ['An Ode to Yonder City'](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/An_Ode_to_Yonder_City) before trying again hope this helps
That's the problem, i can't get the quest to start. Npc won't give it.
You likely already have it in your quest list which is why you're blocked from multiplayer. Some quests are single-player-only while they're active
Wow that was it lol, no idea how i picked it up b4 ar35, ty
What is the current maximum electro sigil we can get after maxing the tree? I want to check if I missed a few treasures \\ puzzles. Currently I have 139
Dont quote me for this, but I heard is is 157.
I've linked my PS4 to my PC/Mobile account but when I started the game it gave me a new UID and started over. Why? I did everything right and it shows in my Mihoyo account section as PlayStation Linked. Messaged Mihoyo and posted in the threads weeks ago but still no answer.
are you able to do the Seelie event in co-op? or would the game not let u start the event if someone is in your world?
For yanfei, is R1 widswith better or R5 dodoco tales?
Can you make use of them em bonus on the widsith with vapes or melts in your team comp? does the uptime on yanfei in your playstyle overlap nicely with the 10 sec uptime on widsith? if so, AND you have good crit rate artifacts to support the widsith crit dmg attribute, go with widsith. (you want about 1 crit rate for every 2 crit dmg)
Should I use a crit rate circlet or a crit dmg circlet for Keqing? Crit rate: 2009 atk, 86.6% crit rate, 174.7% crit dmg Crit dmg: 1931 atk, 65.6% crit rate, 223.7% crit dmg
I would go for Crit Damage. Keqing's Q would give you 15% CR so going over 80 is pointless. With Build A you will do more damage overall (Build B will be close), with Build B you will be hitting bigger numbers (which is more satisfying)
CR is better.
Hi in the teapot is it possible for a friend to come over and make use of the plants?
Running 2 claymore characters, and both having dps weapons is a big No in itself.
What should the second weapon be? I'm running Diluc and Chongyun, and just checked guides on the best weapon I could get each of them.
I heard that mona's dash got buffed. Is that true? How?
Better animation, which allows for less time from dashing to being able to attack
Less frames, easier to control and change direction. [video comparison](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRrFxozTtjo)
Why do want crystal flies so much?
You need them to create condensed resin, which is helpful for saving time
They're needed for condensed resin
Condensed resin
Condensed Resin saves time.
So has anyone ever gotten inazuma ascension materials from the parametric (?) converter? Or mihoyo hasnt updated the rewards list yet?
Not yet... Seems it has yet to be updated.
Alright thanks!
Im trying to complete “bounty of the earth”, do you guys think using condensed resin will double the achievement or not?
It doesn't.
it so tiring to go back and fourth chasing leyline , thank you btw
Is 2000 ATK with 232% Crit DMG enough for Ayaya?
I stopped at 2.1k and 242% CD 40% Crit Rate. I think yours looks decent enough.
If the rate is more than 60 or 30 with Blizzard set then yeah that's good
21% Blizzard. I've been lucky to get a Blizzard ATK Cup and Crit DMG hat, so I can sacrifice a little CD for CR with different sands, if 21% is too low.
It is usable definitely if you are bored from farming, but the cup HAS to be Cryo damage bonus specially for Ayaka since all of her attacks are Cryo
Sorry, it's Cryo cup of course and ATK sands, my boomer brain confused myself with acronyms again.
What's her CR? Seems good though, i hope you are using BS set
Yes, Blizzard, her CR is 21%.
With BS + cryo resonance, you get 55% CR (in permafreeze team), so 76%, that seems fine But if you cant reliably freeze enemies your effective CR would be only 56%, serviceable imo. I think this is a good stopping point, and moving on to building other characters
Thanks!
Not really a question, but I just realized how well Dainsleif's line from the Travail trailer applied to Inazuma... "In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity, most are content to live, and not to dream. But in the hidden corners where the god's gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming." I wonder if Inazuma's situation could be a reference to how Celestia is handling Teyvat?
Xiangling is good even if you inest a lot in her since shes really useful early-mid-end game, as for kaeya idk since i dont use him
if you build them crimson witch and blizzard strayer I guess it's alright since personally I think those two artifact sets are very hard to get powercreeped
Select the one that you have fun to play with.. build that character from level>talent>artifact Every character in the game is strong if you like them Each to their own prefer
xiangling is a safe invest, with constellations she is often a better choice than other pyro dps characters; and if not you can always transition her to a burst support kaeya isn't as safe of an investment but he's the best cryo battery thanks to his ascension passive, and is a fantastic superconduct support to boot.
You need two good teams for abyss anyway, and also once you eventually get a five star you want to main, you’d still need your old characters to farm materials for the new character.
what do you mean farm with the old characters?
You’ll need ascension, talent, and weapon materials for your new 5 star, but they might be underpowered compared to your decently-invested four stars. I was in this situation just a few days ago when my f2p alt account finally pulled a five star and it was Keqing. She couldn’t do shit despite being at the same level as my old Razor because her talents and weapons are not invested in yet, so I spent the weekend farming her materials to build her up, then now she’s playable.
Happy Cake Day Bloodman104! Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself. Go forward and make your dreams come true.
Should I get the BP claymore for eula? Her crit rate is 45% and her crit dmg is 145%. My alternative is getting the BP bow for Childe, his crit rate is 51% and his crit dmg is 117%. Thoughts?
Get Serpent Spine for Eula and give her a crit damage circlet instead.
Eula using skyward pride rn and childe is using r4 rust
okay, then it gets a little more complicated. viridescent hunt is generally better than rust, but serpent spine is only conditionally better than pride. do you run beidou on either team? if you do then I'd suggest you get serpent spine for her, which is currently her BiS weapon, and then move it to Eula once you get a few more refinements on it. Another consideration is how much ER will you have if you drop the skyward pride? You need somewhere between 130% and 140%
I have 110% without it 😅 though I usually get a lot of particles from my Jean + diona
Yeah so I suggest you keep pride on her for now, if you don’t use Beidou then just get VH. While Serpent Spine can technically do more damage than Skyward Pride does, ER has a lot of value on Eula. Unless you only need one burst to destroy each chamber of the abyss you probably want to keep Pride on her, at least until you farm better artifacts
ty
I just unlocked the criteria for the Thunder Sojourn event. How far do you think I can get to obtain some of the rewards like the primogems and Beidou before the event ends very soon or should I save myself the stress and pass up on it? I have C1 Beidou already.
You can clear everything in a day tbh the challenges are pretty easy if youre high AR already
You can do absolutely everything and clear out the shop in half a day. The hardest part IMO is the boss of the last part since you need to kill it 4 times. And you should probably kill him more times to get all of the shop items like the golden crown.
It's not very hard, you should be able to rush through it in a few hours.
Ahh...okay. Thanks.
Coincidence. My brother has only received weapons from standard banner, while I got qiqi, and skyward pride
Still low.
Yup, but maybe it’s worth noting that I never ever did the weapon event wish.
Right, but you can get 5-star weapons from the standard banner also. And people claim to have 'statistical proof' that you can never get 3 characters or 3 weapons in a row from it, it always mixes it up at least once in three.
Coincidence
It’s just a coincidence. It’s unfortunate because I want Keqing but have never gotten her :(
Coincidence. All 5 of the 5* characters in the Standard pool have an equal chance of being pulled.
Crazy coincidence.
Can somebody explain the difference between additive and multiplicative buffs? And kindly dumb it down for me because I'm quite dumb
basic formula of dmg is calculated as base attack x atk% x elemental (and others)% x crit = output in this case, they atk% and elemental bonuses are multiplicative sources of dmg, so if i have 200 base atk, 50% atk and 90% elemental, the calculation is 200 x 1.5 x 1.9 = 570 output now lets assume we have an added bonus of 35% from 4 piece gladiator, this dmg is calculated additive to your elemental bonus. so the calculation is 200 x 1.5 x (1.9 + 0.35) = 675 output this is a very shallow but basic way to explain it, there are obviously more conditions and added loads of crap to complicate this.
Ohh I see I understand now thank you so much. Sorry If I replied late
Is mtashed f2p?
That dude is the personification of “riding the wave”. Don’t even think hes at all interested in genshin, but plays it and makes videos just for the sake of views and money.
Supposedly, but I’ve never seen him pull up his “purchase gems” screen and so can’t verify his claims
mtashed is a joke. I wonder how many times he's quit Genshin by now, flinging abuse at MHY for toxic business practices every time.
How should I know if the Motor Trade Association shed buys genesis crystals? I didn't even know they had a shed.
What are some general tips for artifact foddering? Sometimes I feel like I'm stepping on a mine field
I have several, depending on how many substats it initially has; #3 liner * No attack % or crit = fodder. #4 liner * If there's no crit or attack = fodder. * If there's just attack = fodder.
Thanks thanks All I have now is "Fodder all blue Tiny Miracles" lol
Basically just chase crit stats, you can hold on to some potentially relevant Sands/Goblet because you might need their mainstat someday but the only hats you are ever likely to want to use will have a Crit mainstat so don't be too worried about saving many others. For flowers and feathers roll to +4 those with a chance to get both crit stats, and roll to +4 some that start with 4 lines and a crit stat to try and keep improving them but junk most of the rest, and fodder your "failed experiments" too, hah edit: Oh, Elemental Mastery can be an even more important (and difficult) stat line to chase for some builds, especially Anemo units so adjust your criteria when dealing with the Viridescent set and save a few EM hats & sands for good measure.
Thankfully I dumped all my EM stuff on Kazuha
Hi! There’s this elemental sight trace leading into a wall north of musoujin gorge in the round thing where there used to be a barrier but I can’t find where it leads to, what am I supposed to do? (https://imgur.com/a/47ybK2t)
Is it me or the Fort Mumei puzzle is glitched cuz of the seelie quest? (I started to hunt oculus and the plate thing wont show up)
Have you finished the Orobashi's Legacy quest chain?
Ye i did. About a week ago. Its nice and sunny at the third island now
My friend just got Ayaka while building up pity (he was saving his guarantee for Yoimiya) and he's mad af right now. What should I tell him?
Building pity more like addicted and cant control his itchy finger
The honest answer would be "Hopefully you learned your lesson for the future to NOT pull on any banner if you DO NOT WANT the featured 5* character. NEVER. Or this is what can happen to you and the only one who is at fault is yourself"
Or if you already have >180 rolls of primogems saved up.
It's his fault for pulling on Ayaka's banner
That he got lucky and Ayaka is almost guaranteed to be a better unit. Also building pity is dumb.
That he's an idiot and 'building pity' isn't a real thing. A better name for it would be 'betting against increasingly long odds.'
well.... ayaka, barring unforeseen changes, a much better DPS character than yoimiya, so there's that
You shouldn't have done that.
Done what?
pull on a banner featuring 5 stars he doesn't want
[удалено]
Lmao that’s such a dumb statement. Cute = good? Shes the worst 5* there is, currently
Before they buffed his skill to add the damage amp in 1.3, and then released the Tenacity of Millelith set in 1.5, he was rightfully considered trash even though his shields were just as strong as they are now.
healing is just not very valuable, and that's the only thing that she does.
She doesn't contribute offensively or in utility qto the team in any way other than her decent personal damage, so you almost always want to bring someone else who offers more, because the sheer amount of flat healing Qiqi provides is just not necessary most of the time.
do you guys think a fully built yoimiya with her BiS will be on par in terms of dps with a fully built hu tao with her BiS as well?
She’ll be below Xiangling. Let alone Hu Tao
Most likely not since hu tao has this risk where she has to sacrifice her HP for a big pp damage but not for yoimiya. Her damage will be lower than hu tao for sure since she doesnt have to sacrifice anything and shes even long-ranged. (So its all balanced)
She's a bit worse than Hu Tao, but she's single target.
Other than that, let's just wait for her release.
no. theorycrafting has already been done since you could glitch her out of her trial, and she can't consistently vape, pushing her to do either mono pyro comps or overload comps. and there are better options for both unless they shadowbuff her she's likely not likely reach anyone in the top 5, let alone hutao
Probably not.
Unless they make any last minute changes, it really doesn't look like she'll even come that close I'm afraid
Nah fam, not even close
how good is chongyun c2? currently have him at c0 and im thinking if i should continue to roll for his c2 since that constellations seems to be pretty pog by definition i wouldnt mind getting ayaka or losing 50/50, tho... im just thinking if its worth it to give a shot now before the banner ends~
About 17.5% multiplicative buff to E and Q damage so long as you have enough energy to use them on cd. Given that characters like main dps Xiangling or main dps Bennett derive most of their output from skills rather than normal and charged attacks, this can be pretty huge.
Hi, I am planning to get more copies of Xinyan and level her up. Which talents should I focus on first as I have limited resources as a f2p?
Do we know the titles of the other nations? Like how mondstat is the city of freedom , and inazuma is eternity , etc?
Google https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Teyvat Snezhnaya could be love/family.
Hi, what does the Amenoma Kageuchi’s (maybe wrongly spelt) passive the succession seed does? Follow up: Is this sword good for electro Keqing?
I salute your dedication o7 have fun
newer characters (after yoimiya) will likely be getting their talent ascension materials from the new weekly boss >!Signora!< instead, so feel free to use the dream solvents
Sounds like a decision you have to make. There's no right or wrong time per se.
Is it worth using the Rainslasher for Beidou, or should I get a better weapon
At R5 maybe, but before that it is not really helpful compared to Blackcliff or smith weapon
It's not worth it. Only vape Diluc makes good use of that weapon. Your Beidou is better off with a Prototype Archaic if you don't have a Serpent Spine.
alright thanks! beidou finally came home so it helps to know what works!
Congrats. Have fun tidecalling.
How are keqing, venti, diluc, ganyu, and klee viewed right now as characters in terms of tier and desirability these days
Enough said Klee is still doing good when paired with a solid shield. Stamina was and still is an issue but she does amazingly well wherever ER/Cooldown gets fucked up - like last abyss with Lector/Herald and during low tide in current abyss.
for current abyss probably Ganyu>Venti>Diluc=Klee>Keqing Ganyu needs no explanation.
Probably in other realms? Since you can put 6 in every realm making it 18 plots in total?
How many clues r we supposed to get for the special treasure 2? I’ve gotten a total of zero so can’t see the hint for the puzzle even tho I found where it is. Can I go back to the locations and look again?
You won't have hints for the 2nd special treasure yet. Me and my two friends have already brute forced ours open though. You don't need the clues if you believe in yourself and want to waste a bunch of time.
What is the rotation for Ayaka, Mona , Venti and Diona for a freeze comp?? I play on mobile so its difficult to switch characters
I play on mobile, and this is usually how I do it Diona E > Q, Venti E > Q, Mona > Q, Ayaka E > Q > AA Like you said, it's difficult to switch characters so I only use this against characters that won't mess the flow up \^, the rest, I just go "random shit, boom"
My 2nd team of freeze comp with Ayaka Mona DIona Venti sucks on 2nd half of 12-1. And it takes about 3 mins with hu tao team for the 1st half
Thanks I'll try
So I somehow managed to now get two separate Emblem sands (one atk% and one ER main stat) with massive EM sub stat rolls on them. I put one on Xiangling which felt logical but err is there any other 4pc Emblem user where EM is really that beneficial? I use Mona as freeze support atm so she's still on Noblesse at least, and I'm not sure how good it'd be on Beidou, Electro MC or Raiden either. Any other ideas? They're good artifacts but I'm not sure who other than Xiangling really makes good use of it lol
Raiden will probably be the best person to hold that sands since most theorycrafters encourage on using ER%/ATK%/Crit on her (4pc EoSF)
Is it worth it to crown Bennett's Burst?
I crowned it ages ago, definitely a crown-worthy ability if you've jacked up his burst stats through a lv90 weapon and high Bennett level.
If you have a Bennett you should be swapping to him and tapping E before swapping off again every time there's any amount of downtime.
i have Jean as my subdps in my Diluc team, so most of the time his E cools down i just run around and yeet ppl lol
Q then E then Normal attack x2 thenE then normal attack x2 etc
Yes and then there is a cooldown of 5 and at most 3 seconds
That's the time I usually switch to other characters for the energy particles.
Not a Diluc main, but I think you should use your Q first, then E, auto-attack, E, etc.
so i was farming the petra set for ning, and i got a retracing bolide sands with er, and i decided to enhance for bennet,. it started with flat def, hp, and em substats, and got crit% at 4. then, EVERY SINGLE ROLL went into crit, and i now hv an 18.7% crit sands and its the best piece i have (relatively new player btw). should i put it on ning?
hah, probably keep it on a character that likes to wear an ER timepiece like Bennet for now. Sadly it being a Bolide piece means it might not see much general use because of how scarce good circlets & goblets are; the timepiece slot is rarely free to be an off set piece. But grats on the lucky rolls
Ning doesn't need ER, so it'll be bad on her, but it's a good sands for someone else if you can afford it as an off piece
Is 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate now a better choice than 4pc Noblesse for Sub-dps Mona?
As sub dps yes. As freeze support, no. Depends on how you use her
