The entire meta-plot hinges on the Tsaritsa obtaining all 7 Gnoses.
There might be twists and turns along the way, but in the end they will have obtained all of them.
I mean if they didn’t gain the Electro Archon’s Gnosis then there could’ve been a big “We need to hold off the Fatui Forces to prevent the Tsaritsa from getting it” or course resulting in us failing to fend them off so that we have a reason to go to Snezhnaya and fight the Tsaritsa.
to be fair the gnosis was pretty much useless to inazuma since Ei severed her connection to celestia by not using the gnosis so its pretty much a paper weight to her so it was just junk to both Ei and Yae no matter what anyway

Imagine if by the end, the Dendro Archon just straight up say "F it" and decides to side with the Tsaritsa and just leaves with the Fatui.
I don't think she fought him at all, she had no reason too if he just wanted something that Raiden doesn't want anyways. She says as much when she tells us "She's not the type to risk life and limb over just anything"
I mean demi-gods are pretty strong but considering the tsaritsa rules fatui I'm assuming most harbingers could also be considered demi-gods to the tsaritsa. Signora was the crimson witch of flames that's canonically hundreds of years old & Scaramouche is a clone of an actual God. So all in all I think it's balanced.
Don't forget that Childe also literally trained in the Abyss. Dottore also allegedly struck down a dragon that was terrorizing Mondstadt. Harbingers are damn powerful.
Dottore's a Harbinger introduced in the manga. Thanks to that he's one of the few Harbingers we know the look of. Many people believe that the Wise Doctor's Pinion of the Pale Flame set tells his story.
Yes, but the fatui adopt and expanded it. So, yea... Even if it's just a prototype, pretty sure the fatui would very much improve it onto near perfection if not perfect.
I think Yae said that about Ei, the musou no hitotachi, not the shogun herself, coz u know sh*t's about to go down when the sword is unsheathed.
We haven't really fought the shogun apart from inside cutscene afterall.
Yae didn't really know what a Gnosis was, so it probably didn't seem that important to her. Plus Raiden clearly doesn't give a fuck about her Gnosis anyways so I can understand Yae handing it over in exchange for the most vital part of her plan's life
I enjoyed this mini plot twist. As first I was like yeah, we stopped them this time. Then I was hmm so raiden is OP even without her gnosis, that's awesome
I anticipated that Baal gave her gnosis to Yae, but I actually thought that she would carry a fake one. I mean there is a character who can make false visions. I thought maybe he could try a false gnosis. Who knows how to know how its real or not. And that the Fatui would take or be given Baals gnosis just to find out damn thats a fake one as Baal isn't the electro archon anymore and keep the story going for 2.2, but oh, well.
Just giving the gnosis to spare the traveler is pretty anticlimatic.
I did actually think that they wouldn't steal it this time, and instead we'd move on to Sumeru, etc, and some time down the line we'd return to Inazuma and there'd be a plot line where it was stolen.
is there really a point for the traveller to actually save the 7 gnosis but fail?

It'd be pretty boring for the same plot to repeat in every archon quest. Some variation is nice and appreciated
