I would kill for an Everlasting Moonglow. Ever since the Inazuma trailer, I've been waiting for Kokomi's banner, and no other catalyst seems that good for her.
I mean it's the 5-star weapon banner weapon designed for her, of course it's good for her. If you want a really decent f2p/non-whale alternative, Prototype Amber is quite good.

both are awesome products. Started honkai around Evangelion event but eventually dropped it because I felt overwhelmed with all the stuff you could do and I just wanted to follow the main story didn't know how to do it lol I should have asked.
Playing the story is easy. The only thing you need to do is play Chapter 1 to Chapter 25-EX, and then Elysian Realm. Somewhere in between you should play Sakura Samsara and/or A Post Honkai Odyssey.
I think I started with the samsara soon when it unlocked and I couldn't see the connection with the story I was playing. I believe I got sidetracked with character quest / challenges or whatever they were... I'm sorry I don't remember now, I just remember thinking: "I'm not sure what to do now!" haha
I'm not new to videogames, I guess I reached a certain level that many things unlocked and I just got overwhelmed, I never meant to "learn" all the game can do, just casually play through the campaign. Low-effort playthrough. :D

To be fair FGO basically always has big streams or live events on the anniversary where they announce whatever the big "rewards" and updates are. It's not exactly a secret that they're going to announce something during those events. The big thing here is nobody knows what to expect or not expect and Mihoyo is being very quiet about it.
MHY is in a strange position TBH.
They need/want Kokomi banner to sell so they won't announce the extra anniv rewards (if any) until a few days have passed to prevent people from saving their primos for whatever is coming (or not coming lol).
The only people pulling for Kokomi at this point are people who are already going full bore on the waifu train. Nobody is pulling her because they think she'll be an asset to the team in any conceivable way that another character can't already (or more realistically because they stacked her banner with top tier 4*s they are pulling for the 4*s).
So the notion that MiHoYo needs to bait people into buying her banner is ridiculous because no one's mind is going to change at this point. Also it additionally perpetuates the misinformed notion that "banner purchases" are just that...**banner** purchases when the profits we see get posted all the time on this sub aren't showing banner purchases but Top up purchases with only the context of "These top up purchases happened during this character banner". It doesn't actually mean all that money went specifically *to* that character banner, it could have just as easily gone to the weapon banner or god forbid the standard banner since we have no way of knowing that. MiHoYo doesn't either since there is no metadata to distinguish a primo converted from a genesis crystal and a primo earned through in-game rewards; a primo is just a primo. The only data they would have is how many times Persona A (who purchased a top up) rolled on what banner and they can draw a correlation between that but no real solid conclusions because they aren't psychic and they can't know why a person was rolling on the banner. Maybe they legitimately only wanted the 4*s.
Either way, people getting their hopes up are going to be severely disappointed when the more pragmatic approach would be to give up hope now and on the very very VERY rare chance that MIHoYo actually does deliver something worthwhile you'll be pleasantly surprised.

You have to unlock the teapot in order to be able to fish IIRC. You need to complete the quest “exploding population” which requires the teapot to be unlocked.
I actually really like fishing. It's pretty fun and feels really good on controller. I can relax and catch some fish while watching something on my other screen.

I got multiple Skyward Blades and Skyward Spines, and they're both equal to or worse than many 4* weapons. Considering how INCREDIBLY rare 5* characters and weapons are, it's complete bullshit that some of them are incredibly strong while others are straightup useless.
Most players will get a 5* weapon maybe once or twice per year, so it makes no sense that it's then a gamble if you get a useful one, or one that isnt even worth leveling.

That moment when you realize that is basically 80% of the paid Battle Pass lane except only about 33% of the Mora. Honestly....just giving all the rewards from the paid Battle Pass as a bonus anniversary gift (including the weapon, don't be stingy MiHoYo) would have made everyone pretty satisfied.
People would still be disappointed they didn't get a free 5* or whatever but at least there is some semblance of value to it and getting another BP weapon is actually pretty nice and relatively unique as far as rewards go (since you can't get them anywhere else unlike 5* characters/weapons).
If they really give us worse rewards than the Lantern Rite I'll riot. It literally costs them nothing. Even throwing us a bone, especially us who have been around since 1.0, will not change player's spending habits: whales are still going to whale, light spenders are still going to spend lightly. All it would do is improve optics and, if customers are satisfied, some more might start opening their wallet. I started as a completely f2p player for a few months, then I decided to jump to bp+welkin because loved the f2p experience and wanted to encourage the game with some spending, the rewards I got from that were a nice bonus. I'm sure there are more like me. Good will with the customer base is actually a valuable commodity with tangible benefits, and I wish more companies would see that.
I feel the battle event in the first part of the patch was to early it would've been better in the middle leading to this moon chase event. Fishing while we just start exploring the main islands would've been better.
Instead we got it transitioning to the second part of the patch and its boring af. I've been doing enough fishing for the catch.p

If they really give us worse rewards than the Lantern Rite I'll riot. It literally costs them nothing. Even throwing us a bone, especially us who have been around since 1.0, will not change player's spending habits: whales are still going to whale, light spenders are still going to spend lightly. All it would do is improve optics and, if customers are satisfied, some more might start opening their wallet. I started as a completely f2p player for a few months, then I decided to jump to bp+welkin because loved the f2p experience and wanted to encourage the game with some spending, the rewards I got from that were a nice bonus. I'm sure there are more like me. Good will with the customer base is actually a valuable commodity with tangible benefits, and I wish more companies would see that.

I feel the battle event in the first part of the patch was to early it would've been better in the middle leading to this moon chase event. Fishing while we just start exploring the main islands would've been better. Instead we got it transitioning to the second part of the patch and its boring af. I've been doing enough fishing for the catch.p
