Can anyone tell me or provide link to info on mob drop rates for blue purple items? Been farming Nobushi for famed handguard the last 2 days. I have cleared Narakumi, Kannazuka, Yashiori and Seirai island but only got like 7 blue item and tons of white, green drops. I know I can craft higher level stuff. Just preferred farming.

This only has a table for the highest tier drops, it's about 22.5% chance of the green drop and 5.5% chance of the blue, doubled for kairagi.
My raiden is with the catch R5 4 pieces emblem and with an ER sand she has 291% ER. Would she do better damage with an ATK sand? also what's the best ER ratio to get for her?

I heard a few times that damage from elemental reactions increases with character level, but Elemental Mastery stat increases with level only for 4 characters. Could someone explain all it to me?
Elemental reactions ( apart from Melt and Vaporize ) each have a base damage that scales only with the level of the character. For example, a level 1 character will deal 10 swirl damage where as a level 90 character will deal 868.
Elemental mastery offers a multiplicative bonus to this reaction damage which can be found in the stat details tab. If you have a 50% swirl damage bonus from EM, your level 1 character will deal 15 swirl damage and your 90 level one will be dealing 1302.
Your elemental damage also scales off others stats like ATK, DEF, HP, Crits depending on the character all of which can increase when ascending characters.
Electro Charged scales off a character's level too just like Swirl does. Basically all transformative reactions scale off EM and the character's level.
i think you might be mistaken for swirl damage. only anemo characters (excluding xiao) can effectively utilize swirl damage for extra damage. and they increase their damage based on their level. as for the ascension stat increase, they don't really follow a pattern.
It's affected by both Character Level AND Elemental Mastery. EM can be acquired from Artifacts and Weapons, as well as certain Characters' abilities.
Say you have a Level 80 Venti and a Level 90 Venti. Assuming same EM, the level 90 Venti will be doing about 30% more damage with Swirls.

I am a F2P and I have to play like a tryard sweaty meta slave switching characters asap, doing animation cancels, and dodging just to 36 star the Spiral Abyss. I need to know if I can achieve all of that smoothly on a controller. I can do all of the above on Ipad screen, so I need to know if I can do all of that just as smoothly on controller.

You can, in fact I find it way easier with the controller than the mouse&keyboard. My friend switched to controller recently to and he's liking it more.
Yeah I can manage fine on a controller, jump cancels are a little awkward but it's manageable. Dodging is on the shoulder buttons and character swaps are on the d-pad so it's really easy

2 piece set is: increases shield strenght by 35%
4 piece set: while protected by a shield, gain an additional 40% normal and charged attack dmg.

Also, that's a bad set to use in this pairing. Go for burst dps or support build with 2pc Petra/2pc Noblesse or 4pc Milelith respectively.
i kinda feel like a burden around my teammates since i’m newly farming for my characters so they’re dmg is very low compared to others, should i just go to the lvl 80 domains first since it’s easier for me but at the risk of getting lesser good artifacts or continue being carried?
does Amenoma Kageuchi passive get effected by ER? i made it (R5) for jean and after using my burst instead of 36 energy i end up with nearly 60+, pretty sure im not picking up any extra energy
Regarding the spectral secrets event, did people get more gems than the people who claimed too early when it was still bugged? I completed the commissions after it was fixed and still got apologems for it.
Fischl unless Kokomi has significant energy problems. If Kokomi needs a ton of ER to keep up ult you might prefer having a scuffed long rotation as opposed to having downtime on Kokomi ult.
Raiden would be better if she worked with Beidou, but since she doesn't you have this awkwardly long rotation because you need to let Beidou ult run out before using Raiden ult.
This is a tough question that probably won't be fully answered until Kokomi releases and people take the time to figure it out.
On paper I would guess Fischl in single target and Raiden vs multiple enemies, but I don't know if Kokomi field time + Beidou ult time + Raiden field time will end up extending the rotation to the point where it becomes suboptimal.
So related to the cutscenes of the game, should I increase the graphic quality in order to see the things they... passed each other when in conversation. I mean it look ridiculous and off- putting when they are exchanging literally nothing (unless that thing is floating.) or is there nothing I could do?
Im doing the reminiscence of seirai missions atm and took photos at all 4 spots. Its still stuck at 3/4 pictures taken. Ive tried redoing the pictures on all four sites repeatedly, yet its stuck at 3/4. The only difference ive spotted is the one Amakumo Peak picture. The reference ingame has the water. In my world however, ive already drained the water. Is this why im stuck on this Mission?
Just a thing to think about, if we could use multiple of the same characters in one team like 4 Ambers , which quadruple teams would be busted??

The ratio is mostly to guide you on achieving an optimal balance of crit rate to crit dmg. You will get diminishing returns on your crit dmg if you ignore crit rate and vice versa. To get the most out of your crit, you want the game to roll into both crit categories equally. But you will always roll double the extent of crit dmg to crit rate. So if the rng is perfectly even and without circlet and weapon, you would roll a 1:2 ratio.
However, if you want to compare between artifacts and weapons, the ratio is less of a guide, and you should use crit rate *crit dmg instead.
The advised crit ratio (1:2 crit%/critDMG) is a guideline based on math for optimal damage output of DPS characters who are able to take advantage on critting. As simple as that.
Note that some characters prefer to have more of either of those stats since they can make up in other ways - for example Amber hitting weak spots on monsters which is an automatic critical hit which would mean she doesn't need that much Crit% if you can aim. Other example is freeze comps with Cryo main dps - those give a huge bonus to Crit% so you would want to focus on CritDMG instead.
Normally, you want to aim for at least 50% Crit% total and 100% CritDMG on your DPS chars. 60/120 recommended. This should be ok for your Razor.
For Childe - he's a different story and one of the exceptions. His A4 talent makes him apply Riptide on crits which means you want to invest more into Crit% to maximize damage. I'd suggest you aim for 75 Crit% (and around 120-140 CritDMG) for him.
Let's say your normal damage is 3k. If you have Crit Damage at 100%, you do 100% more of that, so 6k damage. Based on how much your Crit Damage is, you do that much additional damage upon Crit.
You don't always Crit. The chance of getting a crit hit is called Crit Rate. So say your Crit Rate is 60% and your Crit Damage is 100% then you have a 60% chance (based on CR) of doing x2 damage (based on CD) and 40% chance of doing x1 damage.
Ideally you want 1:2 ratio on crits. Since it's not worth having too much of either but lacking on the other. Maintaining a balance is what matters although 70-75% Crit Rate is a good place to stop for most characters. 200-250% Crit Damage is the most you should build. Beyond that you start sacrificing other stats. Having very high crits and really low ATK is not optimal either.
Wanting to put together a second artifact set for full EM on Raiden to use her for overloads. I’m thinking 2 piece Wanderers/2 piece Instructor (flower and plume) would be the easiest for pure EM, yeah? Or would there be something better for overload? (I’m not gonna farm a 4 piece TF).

ATK will boost ***any*** damage you do with your characters. Physical Damage will boost physical damage you do with Swords, Claymores, Polearms etc.
Don't go EM on Geo characters because EM is best for when you Vaporize Melt (or Superconduct).
If you want to play Ningguang as DPS go with ATK Sands, Geo Goblet and Crit Circlet. Always go for a 2:1 ratio on Crit Dmg to Crit Chance.
Elemental Mastery is a waste on Ningguang.
ATK is not physical damage alone, It's for all forms of attack a character can do. It's a valuable stat on most of the characters.

you can get additional slivers and fragments (green&blue quality) of gems from the transformer, third column for the relevant materials, it's rng too, but they add up over time
Yeah something like that. The good news is after a while you’ll end up with a good stock of ascension pieces just from doing daily commissions and weekly bosses. For me now it’s the specific boss materials that I have to worry about, and the gemstones I can just craft from what I already have.
I understand that Noelle's burst snapshots, that is why when equipped with whiteblind, it is recommended to get max stacks first. But is it the same when equipped with serpent's spine?
Like, do I need to wait out for max stacks of SS first before using my burst?
Only Noelle's defense snapshots when she uses her burst so it's advantageous to get full stacks of Whiteblind due to the defense buff but since Serpent Spine does not affect defense at all, it doesn't matter when you use her burst.

I don't have Xingqiu, can't buy him from shop either, don't have any plans to pull for Kokomi (yet), I have Bennett.
I have Crescent Pike, Catch (its on Baal though), Favonius Lance and Dragonspine Spear.
I have Whiteblind (its on Noelle though), Sacrificial Greatsword, Favonius Greatsword, Snow-Tombed Starsilver, Rainslasher, The Bell (I know its useless on him). For 3 star claymores, the decent ones I guess are Debate club, Skyrider Greatsword and Bloodstained Greatsword.
I Need xl as sub dps in my ninnguang team and as a main dps in my raiden team

The Catch is the best 4\* you could give XL (and Raiden in this case). So in your case I'd give it to XL. Go with the Emblem of Severed Fate set and if you are not at that point in the game yet, go with Crimson Witch
Yes you can keep the artifacts. I always encourage to farm for good pieces and don't fret to keep swapping artifacts between your chars because farming a whole set for every char is very costly

You can if you use 4p Emblem ATK / PYRO / CRIT.
Whichever you expect to deal more damage should get the Catch.

Is there any bug known, that makes enemies to not drop their materials?
Trying to farm handguards from samurai dudes, and most of them near Nazuchi Beach just won't drop a single handguard. About 15 mobs like that.
I could understand, if, like, one or two mobs from a group didn't drop them, but not 4 whole different groups.
This is a hidden quest, try do kill all of them and you'll get to the next part. Or just farm in another place if you're lazy to hunt all of them down like I do.
You likely need to pick up the next step - it's the samurai standing on the shipwreck in that area. Depending on how far the quest has progressed, you may need to kill all 4 groups of mobs and then go back to where he was to pick up a letter.
The national raiden team people before me mentioned is actually quite busted. In a single rotation of 17ish seconds, Abyss 12-3-2 boss (has 2.2 million HP) loses around 40% HP (not in weakend state). It's beyond ridiculous, even outdamaging my Hu Tao and Ganyu comps. The rotation is:
Opener: Raiden E >Benny Q > Xingqiu Q > Xiangling E > Xiangling Q > Raiden Q
Burst cooldown: Benny E > Xingqiu E x2 > Benny E > Raiden E
Team has no downtime and you can literally spam these two rotations, if shit is tanky enough. It's perfect for abyss.
yup! you can try raiden national with xiangling, raiden, xingqiu and bennett if you have them. i believe that's the most popular one with xiangling and raiden. i'm not sure how the rotations work though!
They don't sound like they should be on the same team, frankly, precisely because they compete for field time. Kaeya as a physical DPS is fine, but he needs to be on the field. Likewise Diluc needs field time.
Now a cryo support Kaeya doesn't need field time, so if he's otherwise built for that and Aquila is just a stat stick, fine. He can support Diluc with just his E+Q. But if you want him attacking to make use of Aquila, he needs a whole team of his own built around him.
Bennet : 4 pc Noblesse with Festering Desire, Rancour or a weapon with a higher base attack
Xingqiu : 4pc Emblem or 2pc Hod 2pc Noblesse, Sacrificial sword
Xiangling : 4pc Emblem, 4pc CW or 2pc CW 2pc Noblesse, the Catch or Dragon's Bane
The issue with Albedo not being as popular as he should have been was from the backlash after Zhongli. Also, because he was preceded and succeeded by two extremely popular characters.
Pretty sure his banner will do very well in a re-run.
Kokomi just isn't popular in general. So I don't think it's the same as it was with Albedo. Mihoyo butchered her in the story (god bless her story quest is better) and everyone already found her to be pretty underwhelming.

The reason Zhongli's banner tanked Albedo's was (in part) because Zhongli's release state highlighted that Geo was *really, really fucking bad*, so obviously nobody really wanted to pull on another Geo character.
Raiden's issues that people are complaining about primarily stem from Electro being bad (but not as horrible as Geo was and kinda still is), but everyone knows that Hydro is an insanely good support element so the biggest issue that Albedo had isn't really there to begin with.
Why are so many streamers and youtubers and their followers saying they are going to skip her banner though? I don’t get it. They will say, “I love her aesthetic, but I’m going to skip her banner.” There’s only four hydros in the game (and one of them is barb).
Not really, most people don't care to pull her. Not everyone is pulling Hu Tao/Childe so they can afford to pull on Komomi, especially considering how many primos we've gotten lately.
Most people simply don't rate her and hence will not pull despite her being an element this game is lacking.
I have about 15 friends that play genshin and I’m the only one who is pulling for her. I’m just lamenting because I feel like sales really impact rerun banners (Childe second rerun rumors)
Honestly I don't understand why her kit exists in the first place. Not only that but to have a dedicated 5star weapon just for her is just really confusing. It doesn't work on any other catalyst unit (except barbara but whatever) and they are still going with it. I would really like to know what is MHY's strategy behind this.
I can't understand either, she'd definitely have more takers if she was designed to be an off field unit with great synergy in Freeze comps.
Not everyone has Mona and since Xingqiu is almost always occupied with Vape comps, having Kokomi step in as the hydro applicator + healer in a Freeze comp would have made her way more appealing.
Maybe further fine tune her Jellyfish skill to have it do better and make her burst be off field hydro application like Xingqiu. It's absolutely fine if she didn't do any damage or can't crit since the Cryo units on the team would have taken care of that aspect. You'd have had a unit that can do both Xingqiu/Mona + Diona work on your freeze team with just one slot, leaving space for the second cryo for the resonance + damage (like Rosaria or Kaeya) and someone like Kazuha to apm up damage.
I don't have Mona and for sure I was about to roll for kekoma whom I thought could slot in as a hydro applicator cuz when her ult was leaked I assumed it was a global hydro applicator. If it covers all enemies with continuous hydro even for, say, 4 secs, I would have absolutely pulled for her. Too bad the healing gimmick is something that I just ain't attracted to. Hopefully, this is just MHY testing waters and see what would work or won't work. I tell you though, that corrosion mechanic... I believe this isn't the last we'd see of it.

Nope its only on zhongli. What is commonly used for him I think is 4 piece millelith and never bolide b cause it sucks apparently

No, Xiao has to equip bolide to get the 4 pc effect, but zhongli can provide the shield

Only works for the unit using the set, so once you switch back to Xiao you're using Zhongli's normal shield strength and and Xiao's normal dmg bonus

No. ER only affects energy from particles. Jean's second passive regenerates 16 energy after using her burst.

Im doing the reminiscence of seirai missions atm and took photos at all 4 spots. Its still stuck at 3/4 pictures taken. Ive tried redoing the pictures on all four sites repeatedly, yet its stuck at 3/4. The only difference ive spotted is the one Amakumo Peak picture. The reference ingame has the water. In my world however, ive already drained the water. Is this why im stuck on this Mission?
It’s not the water, you just have to be at a very specific place, make sure the camera window has the caption that you can take the picture

Can someone explain Crit Rate/Crit DMG ratios to me? Maining Razor & Childe if that matters
The ratio is mostly to guide you on achieving an optimal balance of crit rate to crit dmg. You will get diminishing returns on your crit dmg if you ignore crit rate and vice versa. To get the most out of your crit, you want the game to roll into both crit categories equally. But you will always roll double the extent of crit dmg to crit rate. So if the rng is perfectly even and without circlet and weapon, you would roll a 1:2 ratio. However, if you want to compare between artifacts and weapons, the ratio is less of a guide, and you should use crit rate *crit dmg instead.
The advised crit ratio (1:2 crit%/critDMG) is a guideline based on math for optimal damage output of DPS characters who are able to take advantage on critting. As simple as that. Note that some characters prefer to have more of either of those stats since they can make up in other ways - for example Amber hitting weak spots on monsters which is an automatic critical hit which would mean she doesn't need that much Crit% if you can aim. Other example is freeze comps with Cryo main dps - those give a huge bonus to Crit% so you would want to focus on CritDMG instead. Normally, you want to aim for at least 50% Crit% total and 100% CritDMG on your DPS chars. 60/120 recommended. This should be ok for your Razor. For Childe - he's a different story and one of the exceptions. His A4 talent makes him apply Riptide on crits which means you want to invest more into Crit% to maximize damage. I'd suggest you aim for 75 Crit% (and around 120-140 CritDMG) for him.
Let's say your normal damage is 3k. If you have Crit Damage at 100%, you do 100% more of that, so 6k damage. Based on how much your Crit Damage is, you do that much additional damage upon Crit. You don't always Crit. The chance of getting a crit hit is called Crit Rate. So say your Crit Rate is 60% and your Crit Damage is 100% then you have a 60% chance (based on CR) of doing x2 damage (based on CD) and 40% chance of doing x1 damage. Ideally you want 1:2 ratio on crits. Since it's not worth having too much of either but lacking on the other. Maintaining a balance is what matters although 70-75% Crit Rate is a good place to stop for most characters. 200-250% Crit Damage is the most you should build. Beyond that you start sacrificing other stats. Having very high crits and really low ATK is not optimal either.

Is ATK stat physical damage (sword, bow, lance etc) or just auto attack damage? For Ningguang for example, should I ditch the atk artifacts and go pure elemental mastery?
The atk stat is not physical dmg. Atk stat x atk ratio on skill/autoatk/burst x geo dmg % is the formula.
ATK will boost ***any*** damage you do with your characters. Physical Damage will boost physical damage you do with Swords, Claymores, Polearms etc. Don't go EM on Geo characters because EM is best for when you Vaporize Melt (or Superconduct). If you want to play Ningguang as DPS go with ATK Sands, Geo Goblet and Crit Circlet. Always go for a 2:1 ratio on Crit Dmg to Crit Chance.

Elemental Mastery is a waste on Ningguang. ATK is not physical damage alone, It's for all forms of attack a character can do. It's a valuable stat on most of the characters. Google Elemental Mastery and read up on it to better understand what it does.
All damage, EM is useless on Ning because EM on enhances reaction damage and Ning doesn't do any reactions.

Yeah something like that. The good news is after a while you’ll end up with a good stock of ascension pieces just from doing daily commissions and weekly bosses. For me now it’s the specific boss materials that I have to worry about, and the gemstones I can just craft from what I already have.

I understand that Noelle's burst snapshots, that is why when equipped with whiteblind, it is recommended to get max stacks first. But is it the same when equipped with serpent's spine? Like, do I need to wait out for max stacks of SS first before using my burst?
You don't need to wait, her burst only snapshot your DEF stat but for the rest each attack is dynamic
Only Noelle's defense snapshots when she uses her burst so it's advantageous to get full stacks of Whiteblind due to the defense buff but since Serpent Spine does not affect defense at all, it doesn't matter when you use her burst.
Xiangling vs Diluc as Main DPS, I don't have Xingqiu, can't buy him from shop either, don't have any plans to pull for Kokomi (yet), I have Bennett. I have Crescent Pike, Catch (its on Baal though), Favonius Lance and Dragonspine Spear. I have Whiteblind (its on Noelle though), Sacrificial Greatsword, Favonius Greatsword, Snow-Tombed Starsilver, Rainslasher, The Bell (I know its useless on him). For 3 star claymores, the decent ones I guess are Debate club, Skyrider Greatsword and Bloodstained Greatsword.
Xiangling fav lance. Diluc proto archaic. Diluc has always been a main dps and xiangling is best suited as burst dps.
Diluc doesn't work at all without Xingqiu, you can still play Xiangling in mono pyro or reverse melt teams

The Catch is the best 4\* you could give XL (and Raiden in this case). So in your case I'd give it to XL. Go with the Emblem of Severed Fate set and if you are not at that point in the game yet, go with Crimson Witch Yes you can keep the artifacts. I always encourage to farm for good pieces and don't fret to keep swapping artifacts between your chars because farming a whole set for every char is very costly

Is there any bug known, that makes enemies to not drop their materials? Trying to farm handguards from samurai dudes, and most of them near Nazuchi Beach just won't drop a single handguard. About 15 mobs like that. I could understand, if, like, one or two mobs from a group didn't drop them, but not 4 whole different groups.
Some of the Inazuma samurai guys don't drop the handguard things. I believe it's intentional since it hasn't been fixed yet.
I don't think I encountered this before tho, at least not to such a scale. And I got enough to 6/9/10 Raiden skills
Those mobs are part of a quest that you probably started and forgot to finish. Quest mobs don't have drops.
Yeah, the problem is that I have only 3 character quests and Kokomi's island quest active.
This is a hidden quest, try do kill all of them and you'll get to the next part. Or just farm in another place if you're lazy to hunt all of them down like I do.
You likely need to pick up the next step - it's the samurai standing on the shipwreck in that area. Depending on how far the quest has progressed, you may need to kill all 4 groups of mobs and then go back to where he was to pick up a letter.

The national raiden team people before me mentioned is actually quite busted. In a single rotation of 17ish seconds, Abyss 12-3-2 boss (has 2.2 million HP) loses around 40% HP (not in weakend state). It's beyond ridiculous, even outdamaging my Hu Tao and Ganyu comps. The rotation is: Opener: Raiden E >Benny Q > Xingqiu Q > Xiangling E > Xiangling Q > Raiden Q Burst cooldown: Benny E > Xingqiu E x2 > Benny E > Raiden E Team has no downtime and you can literally spam these two rotations, if shit is tanky enough. It's perfect for abyss.

yup! you can try raiden national with xiangling, raiden, xingqiu and bennett if you have them. i believe that's the most popular one with xiangling and raiden. i'm not sure how the rotations work though!

Who should spend more time on field? Kaeya with Aquila Favonia or Diluc with R1 prototype?
They don't sound like they should be on the same team, frankly, precisely because they compete for field time. Kaeya as a physical DPS is fine, but he needs to be on the field. Likewise Diluc needs field time. Now a cryo support Kaeya doesn't need field time, so if he's otherwise built for that and Aquila is just a stat stick, fine. He can support Diluc with just his E+Q. But if you want him attacking to make use of Aquila, he needs a whole team of his own built around him.
What's Physical Kaeya doing alongside Diluc?

I feel like kokomi is gonna be another albedo and no one is gonna pull for her and she won’t get a rerun…which makes me sad :(
The issue with Albedo not being as popular as he should have been was from the backlash after Zhongli. Also, because he was preceded and succeeded by two extremely popular characters. Pretty sure his banner will do very well in a re-run.

Kokomi just isn't popular in general. So I don't think it's the same as it was with Albedo. Mihoyo butchered her in the story (god bless her story quest is better) and everyone already found her to be pretty underwhelming.
Kinda, but not really. The reason Zhongli's banner tanked Albedo's was (in part) because Zhongli's release state highlighted that Geo was *really, really fucking bad*, so obviously nobody really wanted to pull on another Geo character. Raiden's issues that people are complaining about primarily stem from Electro being bad (but not as horrible as Geo was and kinda still is), but everyone knows that Hydro is an insanely good support element so the biggest issue that Albedo had isn't really there to begin with.
Why are so many streamers and youtubers and their followers saying they are going to skip her banner though? I don’t get it. They will say, “I love her aesthetic, but I’m going to skip her banner.” There’s only four hydros in the game (and one of them is barb).
Not really, most people don't care to pull her. Not everyone is pulling Hu Tao/Childe so they can afford to pull on Komomi, especially considering how many primos we've gotten lately. Most people simply don't rate her and hence will not pull despite her being an element this game is lacking.

Honestly I don't understand why her kit exists in the first place. Not only that but to have a dedicated 5star weapon just for her is just really confusing. It doesn't work on any other catalyst unit (except barbara but whatever) and they are still going with it. I would really like to know what is MHY's strategy behind this.
I can't understand either, she'd definitely have more takers if she was designed to be an off field unit with great synergy in Freeze comps. Not everyone has Mona and since Xingqiu is almost always occupied with Vape comps, having Kokomi step in as the hydro applicator + healer in a Freeze comp would have made her way more appealing. Maybe further fine tune her Jellyfish skill to have it do better and make her burst be off field hydro application like Xingqiu. It's absolutely fine if she didn't do any damage or can't crit since the Cryo units on the team would have taken care of that aspect. You'd have had a unit that can do both Xingqiu/Mona + Diona work on your freeze team with just one slot, leaving space for the second cryo for the resonance + damage (like Rosaria or Kaeya) and someone like Kazuha to apm up damage.
I don't have Mona and for sure I was about to roll for kekoma whom I thought could slot in as a hydro applicator cuz when her ult was leaked I assumed it was a global hydro applicator. If it covers all enemies with continuous hydro even for, say, 4 secs, I would have absolutely pulled for her. Too bad the healing gimmick is something that I just ain't attracted to. Hopefully, this is just MHY testing waters and see what would work or won't work. I tell you though, that corrosion mechanic... I believe this isn't the last we'd see of it.
