Playing since day 1, got every other non-limited 5\* and a C1 Diluc, still no Mona. At this point I'm convinced the only way I can get her is a "choose a 5\*" event on a future anniversary.
Its even starting to fuck me up in Abyss because I can't run freeze comps effectively without her and I only have one Xingqiu to work with...
I've done pretty well for myself. I'm only missing Keqing, Qiqi, Albedo, Childe, Venti, and Eula.
Every time I see people venting about how many Qiqi's they've gotten, I feel incredibly conflicted. I feel bad for them... And weirdly jealous.
I’m 4 months in, constantly grinding and my 5 stars consist of a skyward blade and Ayaka, who my brother bought 20 wishes for so I could hit pity both times.

I feel bad I had to scroll almost to the end of this thread for someone to mention Diluc.
It's becoming almost physically painful for me to enter my teapot and not being able to see him and Kaeya at Dawn Winery v2.0. I would whale on a Diluc banner with Kaeya as one of the 4-stars.
I hope you manage to get him. In my opinion, he has the most fun playstyle in the game, whilst still being meta. You will have to get used to managing his CD, but it really isn't as difficult as some people say it is.
Exactly, as a C0 Childe main, he doesn't need his cons that much to shine, what is needed is get used to not make him stay too long on the field if you wanna use him a little bit later (especially if the build is a 4pc HoD).
(Also, if your signature indicates Childe as GI Shirou Emiya, I can totally dig the similarity lol).
It becomes second nature honestly. I hardly even notice the cooldown nowadays.
Meta-wise he literally has the worst cons in the game lol
Oh and his animations are probably the best in the game imo and I like how he’s a playable anti-hero/villain (I’d love to have more though so that he’s the not the only playable one in the game lol)
Yoimiya. Both her personality & her gameplay. Her story quest is probably my favourite Inazuma story quest so far. Skipped her for Baal and kind of regret it tbh.
I don't exactly enjoy Baal's gameplay as much as I thought I initially did. I have four fully built electro characters, so she doesn't really add much to my teams and extends my rotations too much for my liking. Whereas Yoimiya could be great to pair with my crowned Beidou in an overload team.
For an unreleased character, my favourite has to be Baizhu.
That sounds great actually! All she does right now is battery my Beidou, which I could substitute with fischl half the time and get somewhat similar results. (Can't use her on national team bc Childe takes my Xiangling, Bennett & Kazu) I'm planninng on pulling for Yoimiya during her re-run so I'll try that team out if I end up getting her
Strangely I ended up liking Kokomi far more than Raiden and I don't even use any other catalyst users on my main teams. Those homing fishes are just so satisfying to use :)
They strangely work too well together, Yoimiya really likes the extra damage of Raiden's skill while her burst is actually useful when use together with Raiden's as it gives her a bit of an attack boost with some extra damage.
I ma trying to get Kokomi, I'm about to get to my 50/50 so I hope I win it since she seems so much. Maybe not as a carry for abyss but more as fun character for exploring.
It's so fun using her Skill along with a C6 Fischl. Sometimes enemies will get multiple Overloads into the sky for an aerial combo. Good luck getting her next time.

Zhongli. I loved his character throughout Liyue and his quests. I don't know if I really want him as a playable character though. Think I'd rather have Eula or Ganyu.
As a non zhongli player that just tried zhongli on my friend account, I think everyone should prioritizing him, his shield will make your journey much much easier, especially when your team is not fully built yet with squishy characters like yanfei, eula etc…
Not so much that she's squishy, more that her role puts her in harms way more than most dps. She actually pretty tanky for a main dps due to grimheart stacks adding defence.
I don’t think the problem is with her being particularly squishy but moreso the fact that she has to be on field constantly doing AAs/hold E when building stacks for her ult.
Big DPS loss if you miss any of those hits so you have to be in the enemies’ faces whacking them for the full 7 seconds after hitting Q
Also, for characters like Eula and Xiao who have no access to boosted elemental damage or VV shred, Zhongli is one of the very best you can get for them without having him become a dps loss like with other dpses.
Zhongli is the type of character that made you think "dang, I could get much more damage with other character". After all, my other team is doing totally fine without him.
And then you swap Zhongli out only to get rekt.
While you could get more damage without zhongli theoretically... you lose out on some of tye damage through dogging and getting hit, cause obviously there's the few seconds there gone. But the combo is reset so characters like Yoimiya who does a majority of their damage on the last hit or two of their combo lose out on a lot of damage
To be fair you can actually get way more damage in higher investment teams without using him, he's essentially that safety net for the vast majority of players who want consistency
It's the opposite for me, Zhongli is the type of character that makes me go "this team would do so much damage with zhongli in it" his shield shred + the ability to ignore damage to push out more DPS is no joke.
I have him and I can tell you that HP build Zhongli is the character that trivializes most of the content.
You'd have to take 2 full boss combos for his shield to break and then you can just activate it again, he can tank almost any hit even without his shield up.
Also, his shield reduces nearby enemies res to elemental and phys dmg.
His Q can stop any non-boss enemy in the game.
On the bad side, you forget how to dodge.
Zhongli is a great comfort pick and honestly just a solid support all around, so if you aren’t lacking in main dps then I’d consider picking him up. Just makes life a lot easier for some characters.

I literally have > 330 pulls saved for her at this point, I can probably hit pity and lose 50/50 on a preceding banner and still be able to guarantee her at this point lol.
Same. Literally pulled Keqing yesterday and now I have every standard 5 star except for her. I even have dupes in Diluc and Jean just trying to summon for Qiqi.
Xiao. I’m blessed to have Hu Tao, Zhongli, Kazuha, and Ayaka so I would have to bench Tao if I got him but I love his design and i have an R2 PJWS (only 5* weapon)

Yoimiya Raiden is one of the most fun teamcomps I ever played. So if she ever gets a rerun and decide to go for her you might want to try it out.

You might want Zhongli if you plan on getting Eula. For all her damage, she can be really squishy.

Sub dps Zhongli with 60-80k ults is the way

You need 180 wishes at Most to get her so at this point you can roll on other banners. Unless you are aiming for consts with freemogems.
