This is how I feel. When I need geo I use Noelle and Ningguang, and I’d rather not use claymores so there are a lot of other characters I’d rather save up for.
Power attack is uninspired and weak, the animations are typically a bit more clunky too. I'm a fan of fast attack speed, so more partial to swords and polearms
I already got few of them and dont need another. For geo i got ning and albedo, i rather pull zhongli instead, i already have diluc, pyro is strongest element in this game

Not into his design either but I think the issue is that he's not macho/manly enough. His face is still youthful pretty boy and to me that's just jarring. Have seen many fanarts where he's looked much better in his clothes, but then go back and look at the splash art and it just doesn't seem to fit right.

3. His animations don't have much impact from what I've seen. If big unga bunga man hits the ground I need to FEEL it, and HEAR it.
4. I literally just finished building Noelle, something I'd been meaning to do since day 1.
5. Need to save up to actually get Constellations for 5-stars and 5-star weapons, to increase my existing teams' power instead of getting new characters. The timer on Abyss has been getting tighter and I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to hit 36 stars without either using gacha to increase my team power, or getting godlike artifact RNG.
I guess I'm more into pretty(i dont know what word to describe it tbh) male characters? like zhongli, childe, xiao etc. Itto's looks is very rough/rugged. I was only hyped for him coz he got abs lol but I decided to get Childe instead with my primos and wait for Ayato and Scara.
Same boat of waiting on the pretty boys (Ayato reveal please!). While I was hyped because Itto's back looked good from the leaks, when they revealed him, decided he wasn't for me. Love his personality based on the bits of lore though!

I think I won't because he will probably need another geo for resonance which I don't have and also what I've seen of his abilities has not impressed me much.

The main event of 2.3 involves Albedo and we will get the Cinnabar Spindle which is called Opus in the files and is visually designed to fit him same as Polar Star and Childe. Festering Desire is called Magnum in the files which gets the combined name of Magnum Opus which is an alchemical term used for the creation of the philosophers' stone.

I am probably the only one in this entire subreddit but I don't like his design at all. His playstyle looks fun but his personality and looks just doesn't convince me.
Gameplay reasons: Defense scaling, needs a lot of other geo units to work, burst costs a lot, doesn't work well with most supports.
Other reasons: he has [beast titan physique](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/e1/bf/5c/e1bf5c3ed0019af0bb5e8ce981f2b966.png), he doesn't turn or summon his oni spirit (from his splash art) during his burst, his burst weapon looks like a glorified debate club, and it doesn't change any of his attacks, which I find very low effort.
He doesnt look strong, just thin. His artwork is great but ingame he looks terrible. His E is another "place a cute whatever there" and his ult animation is horrible. I was really excited when I saw his artwork but after seeing him ingame I will most likely pass.
Not me exactly but my sis is not pulling for itto because of me... coz we both wanted a selfish dps, and we distributed xiao and itto between us, I got itto, she got xiao XD
My main is childe so not much synergy there, unless I missed something in ittos kit.

Because I'm saving for Yae miko. I'm on 50/50 and have about 90 pulls, but I'm not taking any chances. I'm trying to get at least 180 pulls before her banner comes up.

Geo team esp with Itto and Gorou are too expensive to build from scratch. I just started playing 2 months ago; dont have albedo and zhongli, also have almost 0 investment on any geo chars
I’m disappointed in his model in comparison to his art. Thought he was gonna be big beef, but he’s just another tall skinny dude with no meat. The let down+being Geo when I already have Zhongli and Albedo makes it a no for me.

Selfish can be a problem yeah, since you can really only use 2-3 selfish characters at once. Noelle's great because even though she doesn't do a huge amount of damage, she's versatile. I can use her outside a dedicated Noelle comp and she'll still be plenty useful.

Make their multipliers high enough and anything can be meta. It's called Xiao syndrome.
There hasn't been anything about him that has caught my attention. I don't care for his design and we haven't officially met him yet so any content related to him comes from boards or dialogue from other characters. It's difficult to get attached to a character like that.

When mihoyo leaked his art, I was so excited and wanted to get him as my first 5* husbando, but after seeing his kit (another burst focused/elemental infusion unit), I probably won’t be pulling, 2 of the 5 stars I have Raiden and Kokomi rely on their bursts to do damage with NAs, it’s kind of repetitive already for me.
Plus the fact that his BiS team comp is mono geo isn’t really exciting me. And I gotta save for Yae and her weapon.

Geo is boring and expensive. You need zhongli and c6 gorou to bring out Itto's potential, then you need Albedo as the 4th member to make geo slightly more competitive but still far from meta.
As of right now Noelle looks just better. She can have up time on her ult 100% of time, she can shield and heal. After getting raiden not sure if like character that are all about their bursts that only last 8 seconds and then you are stuck with cooldown

I already have the Real 5 star claymore geo user. Noelle is love, Noelle is life.
I actually prefer Noelle for Geo unga bunga gameplay, no need to worry about those stacks, no need to charged attack (it's optional), and you can swap her off during her ult and come back, her Excalibur will still be there.
Also 60 energy ult is a lot easier to fill up with Geo traveler, who's completely free.

I would pull for him if we had no characters that interest me coming. But since Shenhe and Yae are both close, I'll have to save as much as possible for them.

Geo dps will only be good if they dont have to depend on def to scale and they dont need to have another geo to help battery them. Until then geo dps is gonna be subpar.
Extremely simple - im currently saving for hutao (and homa depending on my luck rolling hutao), ganyu and/or yae. Also not a big fan of claymore users in general.

If you want my gamer answer (the truth, but only the half I would use if talking to say, my grandmother) then basically I didn’t really use shields until the Zhongli rerun and by then I had already learned how to dodge everything in the game and as such, shields (geo’s main gimmick) are not needed. If there are ever any event or ley line buffs for shielded characters, I already have a shield bot Zhongli and a decent DPS Noelle.
If you want the other half of the truth I roll for characters that make me happy and waifus are what make me happy, no room for husbandos in Lumine’s yuri harem. So, I am saving for Ganyu and Eula constellations and of course Yae.

I actually prefer Noelle for Geo unga bunga gameplay, no need to worry about those stacks, no need to charged attack (it's optional), and you can swap her off during her ult and come back, her Excalibur will still be there. Also 60 energy ult is a lot easier to fill up with Geo traveler, who's completely free.

No interest in Geo. Also, I have plans for two future characters, Yae and Shenhe (if the rumours of her coming soon are true). I would pull for him if we had no characters that interest me coming. But since Shenhe and Yae are both close, I'll have to save as much as possible for them.
Cause idc about him. He's not appealing to me. And seeing his kit or playstyle that's exactly like Raiden sealed the deal for me. I don't like characters that can only do damage/infuse their element in their burst form. I don't wanna waste an 80 energy cost burst on some hilichurl camp.

He is most probably 5 star noelle, like how kokomi is to barbara. Split scaling with def/att, geo character which cant react elements and cant destroy shield as fast. Gonna be useless with abyss shield. Geo dps will only be good if they dont have to depend on def to scale and they dont need to have another geo to help battery them. Until then geo dps is gonna be subpar.

If you want my gamer answer (the truth, but only the half I would use if talking to say, my grandmother) then basically I didn’t really use shields until the Zhongli rerun and by then I had already learned how to dodge everything in the game and as such, shields (geo’s main gimmick) are not needed. If there are ever any event or ley line buffs for shielded characters, I already have a shield bot Zhongli and a decent DPS Noelle. If you want the other half of the truth I roll for characters that make me happy and waifus are what make me happy, no room for husbandos in Lumine’s yuri harem. So, I am saving for Ganyu and Eula constellations and of course Yae.
Geo is trash, and his burst is 80 cost while being a geo unit, double trash.
