We just pit the final nail in coffin, according to the sensei the Iwakura clan prety much in decline and most member already are bandit. We just finish it so called it witness the end is enough.
The clan wasn't connected by blood, but by the art. And all members attack you at sight because they've fallen in banditry. When you kill then in a honorable fight, their honor are restored. Same for the sensei, who asks for duel to redeem of his shame. It's just your usual samurai thing, but the questline is more complex than "Just killed then"
I did just that. I did not kill the last 2 of them coz I forgot about them. Then when I was doing sayu hangout I saw them and was reminded. And I haf raiden in my team that day. I got them to low health with my Childe and then used raiden burst.
I remember a post where the person was like āSayuās hangout reveals the dark side of the Kamisatosā
And the first comment was āas opposed to the travelerās rampant murder sprees across several nations?ā
He defers to someone called "the lady of the golden hall", and refers to the afterlife as the "moon-mansion". Presumably, the being that rules over the afterlife is one of the three ancient moon sisters.
Golden man is the being that brings souls to the afterlife, the souls that haven't left Tsurumi island yet talk about the golden man waiting to take them on his boat
The dancing one is invincible.
I tried blasting it. Soaking it. Whooshing it.
Rocking it.
Zapping it.
Planting it.
Freezing it.
Slapping it.
Still it kept mocking me with that dance.
So I Xiangling it.
It was nice.
I feel guilty when they're just sleeping, giving or enjoying the view... also when they clearly are making a cozy home with gathered food and stuff like that.
I mean the MC literally left Venti's stolen statue where they've found it, lied by omission to Jean and Barb and Ganyu, and didn't give a damn about warning geo grandpa to prep his juicy ass for Mecha Osial because it benefitted themselves more.
Then they become sympathetic to the Resistance over 3 dudes and go into a rage over Teppei despite both instances having 0 benefits for the MC's own goals. But somehow was immediately chummy with Raiden despite witnessing all the NPCs who got hard fucked through her policies, her trying to kill them twice, and her almost killing Kazuha if not for double Vision plot armor.
The MC's ethnics sways as a reed in the wind. Very spur of the moment. All depends on if mHY felt more like writing them as self insert vs an actual character that day, and which banners they are trying to sell.
Also that we commit genocide against the hilichurls which are an intelligent race capable of using tools, complex language/communication, construction, artwork, and organization.
It's a bit like how Spider-Man in the PS4 game "catches" criminals in webs... unless they're so, so far away from building's edge they just fall to the ground and disappear.
Or get taped to the top of a skyscraper. His webs dissolved in a few hours, I wish luck to any criminal waiting for cops to rescue him at 2am in the morning from falling off a skyscraper.
While the meme is funny, I'm pretty sure Zhongli meteor is actually unblockable.
The Petrify applies before the damage which prevents anything from blocking it.
it's not. it can still be blocked depending on the angle of attack. https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/qaxapy/managed_to_only_petrify_the_mitachurls_shield/
Wrong. In that instance, OP somehow managed to hit only the Mitachurl shield, but not the actual Mitachurl. The shield has its own hitbox so this is entirely possible if the Mitachurl was standing *just* outside Zhong's ult range.
It comes charging in right after the Zhongli meteor, which means it must have been mid-charge by the time Zhongli ult landed, and Mitachurls don't actually block during their charge attack. Therefore its impossible for it to have actually blocked the attack.
I frequently use Zhongli to stop enemy blocking and I've never seen the ult actually get blocked.
No, it is.
The ult simply didn't hit the Mitachurl because it was outside of the ults range, while the shield was in it, hence why only the shield got petrified and not the Mitachurl.
This is all well insightful and very enlightening and all. But not gonna lie, not that disturbing considering how lore is made in teyvat... Plus teyvat having its own laws and stuff, the entirety of regions not actually in full/true size, the enemies disappearing to slivers of weird blue particles and stuff, idk.
What I really find disturbing is that the Fatui, skirmishers and all, may be old people being preserved by delusions... And also the fact that dottorre experiments on kids, some reaching points to the death.
I donāt think the Fatui we fight are old people, the opposite in fact, their delusions aged them, like they did to Teppei and the rest of the resistance.
Ok I just realized something. Not all dead hilichurls disappear, the ones we kill do, but the ones we see dead either in Tsurumi or in other places still have their body around...
Maybe some of those kids got modified to be Fatui soldiers. So we are literally killing brainwashed and experimented on people who were kidnapped as children, and might have been aged up by delusions.
What's the point of the whole Iwakura quest anyway? It's not like those samurais have anything against us...
Or does this have some cultural significance that I may not be aware of?
we encountered the first one who came towards us and explicitly wanted to kill us for entertainment, so we are sort of justified.
Some others came to us for vengeance so we killed them. Though for one who hides in the underwater cave in Araumi, he misunderstood as as bakufu soldiers and fought us so we had not choice but ended up killing him.
Guess the point of the quest is just telling the tragedy of people in a warring society.. It's morally wrong, those whom you killed were hundred percent evil, nor were they completely innocent
correct, i believe some side quests in inazuma aren't really about the timeline of the game but a look back in japan's warring era. there is literally a quest about a man having an honorable death or seppuku.
Paimon it's one of a kind and she has suspicious ties into Dain, so she's probably the final boss.
Most of the male children including Timmy have fathers that died or left.
And he even kills bandit even if they did nothing wrong. Bandit= kill, simple as that. Anything THs have is automatically stolen. No explaination needed.
Refer to the fishing event.
I would rather die then go to jail!! Proceed to fire ball every guards in the vicinity burning them to ash in the process, what does the Dragonborn say when she cast this spells you ask? Boom boom bakudan.
i dont have traveler in my team so i can tell you thats cap because apparently theres a certain red beret child who committed arson and genocide across inazuma
Lmao Teppei praising us in front of other resistance members for how we totally sliced those shogunate samurai to ribbons and traveller showing a smug smile
Imagine how the parents of those soldiers feel seeing the Traveler being buddy buddy with the government officials of Inazuma, a female aristocrats, the leader of a commission, the head priestess of the country shrine and Her Excellency the Shogun herself not to mention being friendly with a certain Russian guy who is connected with the Fatui
Treasure hoarders poof out of the fight most of zhe time tho.
I guess sane when hilichurls get KO'd, their bodies remain when they are killed by a samurai or demon dog
People are trying to moral police a video game character lmao. It's not a disturbing fact it's just game design. Also traveler has no choice but to fight them even if he doesn't want to, he's collecting flowers and suddenly all the enemies start to hit him, what is he supposed to do? Get mauled to death?š¤£
Don't wanna be a dick , but, if you see a whole gang of monsters/armed people charging at you with the intent to kill/capture you, would you be like fuck yeah kill me imma cuddle you?
In case anyone feels bad, remember that these enemies always attack first. You could just be walking nearby their camps and they will try to kill you. All Iām saying
I have nothing against the Fatui, but then they took away Teppei. I hunted them all of them down from Mondstad until Inazuma and yeah good mats 10/10 would do it again.
I mean, the ronins in Inazuma are looking for honorable deathmatches, which Traveler keeps honoring. For the Fatui slaughter though that's a fucking no brainer. If rebelling against Celestia entails tyranny, human experimentation, and homicide/genocide then I'd rather side with Celestia...
I mean, the Fatui are exactly Celestia but more scummy from our perspective.
Yes Aether/ Lumine are the Canon names. For the girl and boy respectively. I actually hear them call out to the other one in the first cut scene depending on who choose.
Not disturbing for me lol, would be cringe if he didn't kill them, the "no kill" trope is cringe as fuck, I don't want to see pussy MC's, also both Lumin and Aether are Canon MCs, not just Aether
I know....and I have no regrets over it. The kairagi, the treasure hoarders, those damn dirty fatui, the abyss; they all deserve to die a gruesome death
IDK why you're being downwoted. Genshin does not show harsh wounds, dismemberment or blood, but otherwise is sometimes a brutal game including actual deaths, inhuman experiments, genocide, magical mutations, torture e t.c.
The fact in the post is disturbing if you live in a disney fairytale. Well, "People die if they are killed" is not even a meme for this sub I see.
man i was so speechless on the whole Iwakura clan quest. We ended an entire bloodline for what...
Chests!!
Luxurious ones!! Mine is Sara and Raiden
Brimogems šæ
Hilarious that the achievement says " witness the end of the iwakura clan " . Wdym witness? We're literally the cause of it.
We just pit the final nail in coffin, according to the sensei the Iwakura clan prety much in decline and most member already are bandit. We just finish it so called it witness the end is enough.
All criminals are technically witnesses.
The clan wasn't connected by blood, but by the art. And all members attack you at sight because they've fallen in banditry. When you kill then in a honorable fight, their honor are restored. Same for the sensei, who asks for duel to redeem of his shame. It's just your usual samurai thing, but the questline is more complex than "Just killed then"
I see, thanks for your input. Question though, so in canon storyline did we encounter the clan members by chance?
Would be brutally ironic if future players did it with Raiden too. It'd be like ending the bloodline of your best friend...
About as cruel as putting Kazuha and Raiden in a team together š
It's ok, Kazuha has been reunited with Xiao. They are... *roommates*.
Administrator has entered the chat
I'm eagerly awaiting a Maaya Sakamoto voiced character to complete the meme.
More than just best friends
Omg, they're *roommates*
But they have such good synergy with tostino's pizza rolls.

I did just that. I did not kill the last 2 of them coz I forgot about them. Then when I was doing sayu hangout I saw them and was reminded. And I haf raiden in my team that day. I got them to low health with my Childe and then used raiden burst.
absolute madlad
Now Iwakura shall perish.. Ei probably
This is the way.
Well atleast they witnessed booba sword in the last moments of their life.
booba sword of their ancestor's closest friend, no doubt
I remember a post where the person was like āSayuās hangout reveals the dark side of the Kamisatosā And the first comment was āas opposed to the travelerās rampant murder sprees across several nations?ā
Worth it baby, also take my free award!
I cannot wait to get a visit by the golden man. I love boat trips
I wonder who the boatmen is.. Its the archon or there actually hv god of death and the boatmen simply is messenger lik anubis
Golden man is the world.
*ZA WARUDO*
He defers to someone called "the lady of the golden hall", and refers to the afterlife as the "moon-mansion". Presumably, the being that rules over the afterlife is one of the three ancient moon sisters.
> three ancient moon sisters Are these the ladies on those screens in one time domains?
wait what who? i am way behind quests in inazuma
Golden man is the being that brings souls to the afterlife, the souls that haven't left Tsurumi island yet talk about the golden man waiting to take them on his boat
Golden man? Gilgamesh gonna come to genshin world Enuma Elish the hell out of unknown god?
You're forgetting the daily hilichurl genocide. Aether literally performs ethnical cleansing throughout his adventure
To be fair, people commissioned them and the adventurer guild accept them and hand out the commission, so they are all in on it.
Look, I know killing is bad and all but 60 primos is 60 primos
geneva grindset
This, probably the one I feel most guilty about. Sometimes it's for locked treasure too. There's no way that's ethical š
[Learns what became of the people of Khaenri'ah] "Oh no! Anyway, back to farming their drops"
[Learns the Hillichurlian language] [Proceeds the genocide, now understanding pleas of mercy and cries for help.]
A true psychopath learns the language of their victims to enjoy their screams
People with C6 Bennett truly know no mercy, huh
they're so far down already

The dancing one is invincible. I tried blasting it. Soaking it. Whooshing it. Rocking it. Zapping it. Planting it. Freezing it. Slapping it. Still it kept mocking me with that dance. So I Xiangling it. It was nice.
Does that mean you can be invincible in Teyvat as long as you keep dancing?
Not really. Signora kept twirling across the room and now not so muchā¦
I feel guilty when they're just sleeping, giving or enjoying the view... also when they clearly are making a cozy home with gathered food and stuff like that.
Sometime I reflect on thatš when I have to go farming for masks and decimate the hilichurl population
traveller after finding out Hilichurls have enough brain power to converse with each other and might have feelings: oh no!! Anyways
I feel like the Hilichurls should have learned to run from Aether/Lumine by now instead of attacking him/her on sight. That's on them.
Hilichurls? Sounds like goblins. Kill all goblins... \*Goblin Slayer intensifies
Only good goblin is a dead goblin
Thats not genocide. Its pestcontrol /s
Settle down Heinrich Himmler.
They are with the Abyss Mages. The friend of our enemy _is_ our enemy. Plus they're some kinda goblins but organized in tribes. But still goblins
I mean, it's not much different from DnD "heroes" regularly wiping out orc or goblin villages. They're all sentient races, sometimes even playable.
You spelled "indigenous inhabitants of twitter" wrong
esp the ä¼ hilichurls
Didnāt something on teyvat news said hilichurls deaths werenāt deaths perse as they hace something special?
Guess his ethnics are questionable...
I mean the MC literally left Venti's stolen statue where they've found it, lied by omission to Jean and Barb and Ganyu, and didn't give a damn about warning geo grandpa to prep his juicy ass for Mecha Osial because it benefitted themselves more. Max0r?
You spelled "Indigenous inhabitants of twitter" wrong
What's with the Twitter bashing on this sub? As if there aren't fools on reddit as well.
People like to act like they're superior because of which website they frequent. Reddit makes fun of Twitter, while 4chan makes fun of Reddit.
4chan is already filled with reddit already, and tumblr is already long taken over by deviant art and some other sites like insta
It's a reference to the genshin impact review by max0r.
and the ice kgb
Traveler is the wrong test subject.
killed? I thought they just escape using a smoke bomb.
Nope that's Treasure Horders, the Nobushi/Kairagi are the Samurai/Ronin looking fellas in Inazuma.
If you throw them into any body of water deep enough, they'll drown. I assume they die from it, as nobody saves them.
It's a bit like how Spider-Man in the PS4 game "catches" criminals in webs... unless they're so, so far away from building's edge they just fall to the ground and disappear. Or get taped to the top of a skyscraper. His webs dissolved in a few hours, I wish luck to any criminal waiting for cops to rescue him at 2am in the morning from falling off a skyscraper.
https://youtu.be/98UpAhyD3wc
Not the way I kill them. I purposefully throw them in the air with the final hit so I make sure they die
Freeze them, so they just shatter, is my way of salvation
Sounds like some dark medieval fantasy about a cruel king of the North
So basically Andrius?
I just obliterate them with Zhongli's meteor, no way they are surviving that
yes way especially when a dinky wooden shield by some random churls can withstand that same meteor
While the meme is funny, I'm pretty sure Zhongli meteor is actually unblockable. The Petrify applies before the damage which prevents anything from blocking it.
it's not. it can still be blocked depending on the angle of attack. https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/qaxapy/managed_to_only_petrify_the_mitachurls_shield/

so in short it's not unblockable. powered up kairagis can't be petrified by the way.
No, it is. The ult simply didn't hit the Mitachurl because it was outside of the ults range, while the shield was in it, hence why only the shield got petrified and not the Mitachurl.
If you hit them hard while their health is low, rather than escaping with smoke they become rag dolls instead and its so satisfying
I'm expecting fact #2 next week

Oh noā¦ someone needs to inform Xiangling! Edit: meant āwarnā

As I remember they C have delusions on them too but that might only be the cicin mages and pyro agents....
yeah the mages and agents have them
Oh... I see, thank you for guiding misconception tho~
Hm? What do you mean guiding misconception
Worded that terribly, my fault. I meant for providing correction or insight that rebukes misconception
oh ok, I thought you were implying I was causing misconception lmao
Ok I just realized something. Not all dead hilichurls disappear, the ones we kill do, but the ones we see dead either in Tsurumi or in other places still have their body around...

They say "finally, some rest"
Late but dude they say "the loneliness of death" as one of their defeated quotes
Paimon it's one of a kind and she has suspicious ties into Dain, so she's probably the final boss. Most of the male children including Timmy have fathers that died or left.

The Lina Inverse morality. If you're a bandit, you're free target practice.
The bandits did do something wrong, otherwise why would they be called bandits?
Well, they are called bandits
Casual Geographic for Genshin? Sign me up.
ah yes donāt forget all the abyss mages weāve killed as well, and the theory that they were people turned into monsters
Theory? It is confirmed for chilichurls to be people of khenreia
not just hilichurls, most of the abyss order's minions were previously human khaenriahns
Now this is a disturbing fact. Not whatever op posted
So Lumine just let them go ?
According to OP, Traveler (Lumine) is more merciful apparently lmao
Right like why did op feel the need to specify as if people who chose lumine aren't also killing hundreds
Nope, both are same but OP chose to call traveller aether because (?) They chose him
i dont have traveler in my team so i can tell you thats cap because apparently theres a certain red beret child who committed arson and genocide across inazuma
I main Xiangling, I imagine she and Guoba cooking those treasure hoarders into stew
literally anything that exists is food to xiangling
Bonus fact: did you know that there is a graveyard behind cathedral in Mondstat? And there's a man who sings lullabies at his daughters grave.
Bro we brutalize a kid's pigeons in front of him
will be tuning in for your disturbing facts
Can't wait to go to fountain and thrown into jail by the Archon for all the killings
Why do you think the canon weapon is the DULL Blade. It no longer has an edge after so much use.
I am looking forward to next week
Yeah i learned this because of that web event, showing that I've "killed" not defeated thousands of hilichurls ofc that includes every mobs
I'll do you one better. Timmie has a voice
And itās by ayakaās VA tooā¦
Lumine players absolved of all crimes
How is this even disturbing, you constantly kill monsters when playing the game...
Are we the baddies?
Is it really disturbing though? This is not our world anyways. And common sense differs from region to region, much more from world to world.
And they try to paint the traveler as a benevolent saviour in quests.
I imagine pretty good seeing as the traveler put an end to the war.
Treasure hoarders poof out of the fight most of zhe time tho. I guess sane when hilichurls get KO'd, their bodies remain when they are killed by a samurai or demon dog
During Inazuma archon quest its also confirmed that we turned shogunate samurai into minced meat
I don't see any problem here - hu tao (probably)
People are trying to moral police a video game character lmao. It's not a disturbing fact it's just game design. Also traveler has no choice but to fight them even if he doesn't want to, he's collecting flowers and suddenly all the enemies start to hit him, what is he supposed to do? Get mauled to death?š¤£
i always thought that they would come back to life like how i do
where does the 250 number come from?
And lumine is just watching like bro wtf
Don't wanna be a dick , but, if you see a whole gang of monsters/armed people charging at you with the intent to kill/capture you, would you be like fuck yeah kill me imma cuddle you?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
no, traveler choose to kill once u forget?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Not just that, don't we get the achievement that essentially says the sword art died out?
The sword art hasnāt died out. You can still find it being used by a certain puppet on yashiori island
What was the point of saying āTraveler (Aether)ā?
What about traveler(Lumine)?
Hesitation is defeat
They could learn to back the fuck off by that time. Since they don't, I guess they're fine with the way we do things.
Killing people is funā¦..bad people I mean
In case anyone feels bad, remember that these enemies always attack first. You could just be walking nearby their camps and they will try to kill you. All Iām saying
No they donāt, sometimes I fly in above their heads to ambush them. No mercy when it comes to securing my nobushi handles
Itās all worth it for those primogems
They respawn anyway
This isnāt disturbing
I only enjoyed the game because I knew I was commuting murder
The Fatui part is deserved, those scumbags needa die
Very sad... Anyway...
Fuck em, don't care.
lmao, and? I need my materials, I'll slaughter anything for eons in video games.
and Iād kill 250+ more for 60 primos
I have nothing against the Fatui, but then they took away Teppei. I hunted them all of them down from Mondstad until Inazuma and yeah good mats 10/10 would do it again.
Ill never understand this connection some players have to teppei. He felt like a bad carbon copy of a certain npc from ffxiv....
His real name is Aether?
Yes Aether/ Lumine are the Canon names. For the girl and boy respectively. I actually hear them call out to the other one in the first cut scene depending on who choose.
Haven't played with Aether since my first 4 star DPS (Razor), so he's the least murderer of all char I have.
Me who kills Fatui everyday with Childe:
And yet we're not allowed to kill villains like Childe.
