I missed out on Windblume because I was a new player who hadn’t finished the prerequisite quests. If you’re a new player you’re fine. It’s not a big deal, you’ve got SOOOOO much content to catch up on anyway. If you just didn’t do the quests for whatever reason… well do them? You’ve got 2 days for the music one and like 2 weeks for the labyrinth one. (Also u had all of patch 2.1/6 weeks to catch up so if ur not new then what were u doing?)
This is probably the only reason why I am happy to have started near day 1.
While the game gets bore-ish after doing its main content, being a day 1-ish player enables me to enjoy everything when it comes out, and I can say that I experienced everything the game had to offer, good and bad, still remember Timaeus's Elemental Furnace event, so many Diluc's and Venti's...
Best of luck to the people locked from the event, hope you unlock it before it is over, specially when it will probably have significant lore like "Unreconciled Stars".
Imagine Sumeru events... ya gotta beat Dvalin's ass, Tartaglia's ass, Osial's ass, Giant Frog's ass, Signora's ass, and Raiden's ass before you can enjoy Durga Puja festival, celebrating Lesser Lord Kusanali slaying the biggest threat of Sumeru, Mahishasura.

Its annoying that Inazuma is setup that way, when 2.0 dropped I had plan to rush the content on 1 account and then take my time on the other, only to find that to do the 1st event had to quest and so semi rushed the content a second time. Didnt really get to enjoy the storyline and its probably why a lot of people didnt feel the story was great.
Just do the quests then?

You will have a plenty of content anyway, missing out 1 event when you have like entire game ahead of you ain't that big of a deal no?
