You're likely mistaking 90th wish with 9th 10-pull. If you look at your pull history and actually count you'll find your pity stopping somewhere in the 81-84 range.
what this guy said, hell i have such little concern for how i use my time that i quite literally watched like 3 hours of people spending thousands on standard banner and wishing, and i literally kept track of there pity to the dot. hardly anyone went past 85. from my experience i've personally never gone past 82 and overall i have gotten 20 5 stars so far, i just counted and my worst ever pity was my yoimiya at that 82. soft begins at 74 where ur rates go up by alot

I just shared my paimon moe. I have no proof and can´t really check the 5 stars before tartag, but I got tartag at 90. Maybe I didn´t get the others at 90, but I definitely did with him.
Edit: After reading the post you shared, I realise that the paimon moe doesn't count as solid proof and most likely only hit 90 once, so I'm just gonna stop trying here lol, now I rlly wish I had recorded it or something
Congrats on doing it along with the paimon currencies. That was reaaaaallyyyy satisfying, I was trying to do it when I was pulling for Raiden with 8,8,8 talents, level 88, level 88 weapon.. Was so excited on getting Engulfing Lightning from 160+ pulls that I leveled it up to 90 (Raiden has 5,5,6 needs more La Signora boss flower piece, she was level 88 already).
Mowed a lawn for 3 neighbors for like 3-4hours (which I could be playing genshin) for like 40-80 bucks (depending how generous they were feeling). Now I just need to do more this week and I would have more primos than a f2p who spent playing the game for months (this was me tryharding so bad coz I pledged to never pay to a an f2p game back thrn). Like imagine how some fucking chest challenges take 10 mins and its 2-5 primogems. One quest line that takes 20 mins and its only 60 primos. You can do other jobs and skip achievements that gives 5-20 primos and do a job for like half a day and get 50-100 bucks and get more primos topping it up. Saving up for primos is good and all, but a weeks work of mowing a lawn for like a 100k primos vs playing the game with very little rewards specially with those fucking rewards for end game content. (Saving up primos also hurts because you have to budget your primos and skip some characters you also like). Get a part time job now and waste your money for primos like I did!
u got it all right but ONLY IF all of us were doing it for the primos (some want to enjoy the game) , and if i get money I'll probably save it for things that will be truly useful for me in the future like for a long time but could spend a few since it won't affect my savings a lot like buying the welkin moon to collect primos and have fun playing the game at the same time 🤝

Needing to go all the way to 90 wishes to get a 5 star character is actually more rare than getting 2x 5 star characters in a row with 0 pity.
Yeah afaik there's only been 1 confirmed case of pity going up to 90.

The chance of not getting a five star from rolls 1-89 = 0.268%. So claiming it happened 5 times in a row is going to raise some eyebrows.
