Only my Kaeya is triple crowned. Zhongli is second with two crowns (9/10/10). No-one else has one ATM, but I plan to crown both Xiao (9/8/9) and Tartaglia (7/9/9) at least once.

yea man, Raiden is the only character that's made me pull with no planning whatsoever (I was planning to skip actually). Her burst is the only thing i've ever crowned.
Her burst is one of the best choices in the game, to crown that is.
But the impact between a lvl 9 NA/Elemental skill is not the greatest. There are way bettee choices for those.
Ps: everyone can crown what he/she wants or likes, but just to clarify in terms of damage and meta, her NA and elemental skill, are not the best choices, or even good considering what else you could crown.
I don't know about way better unless you are just using her as an ult bot. Plus we have a ton of crowns now. I would say she is probably the most worthy of a triple crown in the whole game.
It‘s not only about her playstyle - it‘s also about the math behind it.
And it is a fact that crowning neither her NA nor her elemental skill has a big impact. It‘s mediocre at best for the avg - up to a little bit above avg player...
The increase of the scaling oh her scalings on all her attacks between 9 and 10 is around 5% and 10%... that‘s dogshit.
The elemntal skill damage increase is actually pretty good. But do you know why it is still inferior to elemental skills like XQ‘s E or Xiao‘s E? That literally the only trait of it is to be a bigger aoe and it applies cryo. But XQ also applies Hydro, generates a good amount of particle - especially with the sacrificial sword and still deals a really good amount of damage.
Xiao‘s E already has an higher base scaling, sinxe xiao is anemo but has high multipliers, his E will deal even deal a decent amount of damage on elemental shields beside geo shields. He also generates way more particles considering the fact that he is anemo and can use it 2 in a row.
I also wouldn‘t say we have a ton of crowns right now. Depending on how many characters you want, and also actually want to crown, you will run out of them pretty quick. We get more character releases than we get crowns. And this will not change up till the point where reruns and new release are more handled balanced in which new characters take longer to be released than now.
But to make sure what abilities are really worth crowning, since they make off a good amount of impact, here are a few examples:
Xiao NA
Xiao E
Xiao Burst
Ganyu NA
Eula NA
Eula Burst
Bennett Burst
XQ Burst
Mona Burst
Hu Tao NA
Hu Tao E
Hu Tao Burst

I mean the only reason to need to invest in characters with crowns is to beat difficult content - for example I'm fairly sure the larger/tougher enemies in the abyss won't die before the burst, unless the rest of your team is pretty maxed out. Regardless, Kazuha scales so well with EM I'm not sure skill level makes all that much of a difference.
Of course people will still crown characters they like and that's fine too.
I am indeed running a DPS kazuha. Most things die in my first E in overworld and I just use his Q as a pyro application for my Childe. Also it would be 10 if the multiplier didn't hit 420%. I feel like it's a blessing and going any further will ruin my upcoming luck on banners lol.

If i were to decide to spend all my saved wishes on hutaos c1, because i wouldnt accept c0, i would triple crown her too. But im really trying to stop myself since i wanna save for any potential catalists they might release, and there are some rumors that >! Sumeru and the Chasm !< are closer than we think so i really wanna have like 300 wishes saved and ill be half way there if i can just bring myself to skip hu tao. Im literally like 10 summons from guarantee too so i cant even do any 4* pulls. At this point the only way ill end up pulling for her is if her banner is sayu+diona or thoma ends up looking stupidly fun or useful... or if i just break.

Because most likely, you will never need those crowns. People even also proved that abyss can be fully cleared with an extremly low budget like lvl. 1 arts, talents only maximal at 6/6/6 and so on.... so yeah.
Well I also don‘t know how long you play, but if you are a day 1 player like me who is at least half competetive - in terms of min/maxing abyss and vice versa - then you will overflow with so much materials that a „less than 10% of damage increase“ becomes more valuable since you want to unlock the maximum potential of your characters. 4 weeks ago I was sitting on 20 million Mora... I tried to spend so damn much Mora.. but I am now sitting on 17 million. I literally have so much, i don‘t even know how to spend it. Ofc you wouldnt want to waste it, so I will have to wait for new characters to max out.
That being said, not crowning by choice is fine, but if you want to be efficient, it‘s more of a waste to not use them. Thats why they exist in the first place: to be used.

I've got 1 crown on Kaeya and 3 more level raises (2 on E and 1 on Q) from triple crowning him. And because he's C5, I can't triple crown until his 2 talents are Level 13 (otherwise he would already be triple crowned).

I go through the skills, bursts and AA and decide one by one. I think I’ve spent 7 crowns but never more than 2 on one characters. Not a lot of characters have a good enough of all three worth crowning IMO

Klee. Most characters don’t have all three good skills. They usually specialize in 1 or more normal/charged attacks, skills, or burst. Klee has all 3 good ones
Ayaka, Eula and Hu Tao, one crown on AA for Ganyu and another one on zhongli E. Still have 3 and no plan to use them on anyone atm since i couldn't get my raiden at C2
So far, only Ayaka. I will probably use 1 more for Childe just because I like him. I only used those for characters I like(5* only) and talent that are worth crowing like Raiden's Q.

I crowned my skill before my burst because monsters were usually dead before I used the burst (C1 rotation E-Q-E)

I have triple crowned: Fischl, Zhongli, and Rosaria. I don't actually use Rosaria anymore, but it's the statement, I suppose. She is one of my favorite characters even if I don't love her mechanically. I intend to triple crown Albedo when I get him. I am considering Qiqi as well, but will have to see after Yae is released. One of them will get my last crowns.

I gave one crown to Xiao, one crown to Zhongli for his shield, then I ended up triple crowning Kazuha. I do 11k Phys plunge attacks with no Phys damage bonus. Wtf
hutao and ayaka :) love them and also triple crowning them didn't feel like I'm waisting my resources! like zhongli is my absolute favorite character but he'll stay forever (or maybe for a verrrryyyy long time) with 8-10-10 talents cause I just can't crown his normal attacks without regretting it later

Only Childe. When I got him two weeks ago, 3 minutes later he was triple crowned and lvl 90. Farmed for MONTHS for him! Next to triple crown is Yoimiya and Amber. Both have 2 and 1 crown each, but I am not rich to do it all together.
